Major controversy in Bangor over the weekend as the Bangor Police Department has come under fire for threatening to arrest a citizen who was washing away chalk slogans that were left by a local hate group in Pickering Square. No word yet on a response or an apology from the Bangor Police Department.

A 26 year old man from Sanford, Ryan Connery, was killed this weekend in Orland, Maine after a 17 year old girl accelerated her personal watercraft into his boat. Five others were injured, including a 13 year old boy who was life flighted to Portland with head and internal injuries. Big old fishtail up in the county this weekend. A Pittsfield man reeled in a 46 inch long musky to win the Aroostook County Fishing Derby in Fort Kent. And finally today, the twenty twenty Maine Lobsterfest sea goddess has been crowned despite the cancellation of the festival.
