你知道，人们总好奇为什么我在播客时要拿着麦克风。对吧？因为如果不拿，我就会一直这副鬼样子。对吧？整个播客过程就像座斜塔。

You know, people wonder why I hold the mic during the podcast. Right? It's because if I don't, I look like this the whole fucking time. Right? Just fucking leaning tower of podcast.

你知道，就像巴黎圣母院播客版的驼背。好吧。这就是为什么我要拿着麦克风，也是为什么音质这么烂。懂吗？然后人们还好奇，好奇我现在要拿起麦克风了。

You know, just a hunchback of of Notre podcast. Alright. So that that's why I hold the mic, and that's why the sound sucks. Okay? And then people also wonder, wonder I'm gonna pick mic up now.

人们好奇为什么超过一分钟。其实两点原因。第一，它不会立刻开始。我是说，画面出现或声音响起时它还没开始。第二，时间是主观的，客观的，管它是哪个，反正就这两种。

People wonder why it's more than a minute. Well, two things. One, it doesn't start right away. I mean, it doesn't start when, the picture comes on or the sound starts. And two, time is subjective, objective, whichever one it is, whichever one of those two.

它是那种...就是我说是什么就是什么的那种。比如现在，我们才进行了57秒。对吧？现在是1102。但对我来说，我甚至还没开始。

It's one of it's the one that means whatever I say it is. Like for example, right now, we're on, fifty seven seconds of time in this one. Right? One one zero two right now. But to me, I still haven't even started.

Right? The minute hasn't even started. I I say when the minute starts. Right? I'm a little bummed out just because of the rain.

Right? Another beautiful day here in NYC. A reminder of just how fortunate we are to live in a city that is that is beautiful. And it's this culturally diverse, you know? I mean, we have bankers from all over the world that come up here.

So we're very lucky. Coming in hot because I read something about the housing market today, and I did realize that I will never own a home. I'll never own property. I have a chance at owning a motorcycle when I'm 43 or something like that. But even that is is sort of a shot in the dark, the way I'm blowing through credit cards.

I'm really I'm stretching out credit cards. You know, I'm stretching out credit cards like a like a size of extra small boxer briefs. It's just waistband needs help. Anywho though, I I don't understand what happened. I don't I I don't understand it.

我相信外面肯定有人懂。但我不懂。我祖父母三十年代买了栋房子。很棒的五居室。我记得我奶奶只花了鞋带钱就买下来了。

I'm sure other people out there do. I don't. My grandparents bought a house in the thirties. Great house, five bedrooms. I think my grandma paid, like, a shoestring for it.

可能用交易甚至抵债换来的。用房子换了杯牛奶之类的。不知道。也许我该去找个第二份工作，重新去当泊车员。

Trade maybe even pay for it. Traded it. Traded like a house for, like, a glass of milk. I don't know. Maybe I'll go get a second job, work valet again.

大学时做过泊车员。靠这个赚现金。当泊车员赚快钱。没错。给马尼诺停过车。

Worked valet in college. Get cash rich. Get cash rich doing valet. Yeah. Parked Manino's car.

马尼诺的车小费很丰厚，进出各20块。对吧？马尼诺有专属司机和助理，愿他安息。不过司机还兼职助理接送他。你把车停在他原车位前两英尺处，他就会给你20块小费。

Manino's car was a big tip, 20 in, 20 out. Right? Manino has a driver and an assistant, also RIP Manino. But driver he has, like, assistant slash driver drop Mannino off. You park the car two feet in front of where he parked it, and then and then he tips you 20 in 20 out.

那哥们人不错。车场还有个家伙想拍电影，或者说想写个关于泊车员的剧本，讲泊车经历。你知道，这种题材没啥深度。一群高中毕业的小伙子争着给卡姆·尼利停车——虽然我从没停过他的车。

Great dude. There's also a dude at valet who was trying to make a movie who or trying to write a movie about valet, about the experience of valet. You know, not a lot of depth there. Not a lot of depth, you know, to a bunch of kids with high school educations fighting over who's gonna pack Cam Neely's car. Never parked Cam Neely's car, though.

那次竞争我从没赢过。不过那哥们还打算写本叫《性、毒品与昆西》的书，至今我都觉得这是听过最棒的书名。所以我还在等这本书上架。看看时间，现在轻松超过一分钟了。

I never won that bout. But, yeah, he was also gonna write a book called Sex, Drugs, Quincy, which I still think is the best title I've heard for any piece of work, since. So I'm still waiting for that to hit the shelves. Just looking at the time here. So now we're comfortably over a minute.
