Episode 18 - 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Hello, and welcome back to the two minute grace podcast.

今天我们读的经文是《哥林多后书》第一章第3到第4节。

Our verse today is second Corinthians chapter one verses three and four.

经上说：愿颂赞归于我们的主耶稣基督的父神，就是发慈悲的父，赐各样安慰的神。他在我们一切的患难中安慰我们，叫我们能用从神所受的安慰去安慰那些遭各样患难的人。

It says, blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with a comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

你知道吗，本，如果你没注意到，或者听众里有人没留意，这两节经文里‘安慰’这个词出现了好几次。

You know, Ben, and if you didn't pick it up or anyone listening didn't pick it up, the word comfort is used quite a few times in these two verses.

这是因为保罗在开场白里特别想强调这一点。

And the reason is is because it's driving home what Paul is trying to tell the Corinthians here in his opening address.

神就是那位赐下安慰的神。

It is that God is a God of comfort.

他在我们受苦的时候安慰我们，无论我们经历怎样的患难，他都能安慰我们。

He comforts us in our afflictions and he can comfort us in any affliction.

我们不必担心、也不该沮丧，觉得没人懂、没人理解，因为神明白，神知道，他也必安慰我们。

We should never worry or feel depressed like no one knows or no one understands because God knows and God understands and God can comfort us.

既然知道神会安慰我们，我们就更该去安慰彼此。

And knowing that, that God can comfort us, it should motivate us to comfort one another.

我们从救主耶稣基督那里领受了怜悯与同理心，因此也该成为管道，让神的安慰透过我们流到弟兄姊妹身上。

We have received this sympathy and empathy from Jesus Christ our Savior, and so we need to then be a channel for which God's comfort can flow through us to our Christian brothers and sisters.

无论遇到什么试炼、哀伤或痛苦，我们都能成为弟兄姊妹的安慰，因为我们知道，神也必安慰我们。

That way, any trial or trouble that comes along, season of mourning or grief, we can be a comforting influence upon our Christian brothers and sisters knowing that God will comfort us as well.

That's absolutely right.

我们向人作见证的一种方式，就是主动去安慰别人，比如在同事遇到困难时做个朋友，给予支持。

And so one of the ways that we can witness to others too is is by offering, you know, some sort of of of comforting to them, you know, some sort of, you know, being a friend in a time of need to a coworker or something like that.

这只是举个例子。

It's just an example.

既然神向我们显明了祂的爱，我们就能把这份爱传递给世上每一个人，这也是我们见证救恩与重生的方式。

And so because we have that love, God shows us His love, we can show that to all the people in this world, and that is a way that we can be witnesses of our salvation and our regeneration.

所以，今天出门时记住这一点，如果有机会，就向你遇到的那个人传递一些来自神的安慰与爱。

So with that in mind, just remember that as you go on about your day today, and hopefully, if you can, and if you're presented an opportunity, then show some comfort and some love from God to someone else that you encounter.
