Episode 31 - Ephesians 6:10

Hello, and welcome back to the two minute grace podcast.

Our verse today is Ephesians six ten.

It says, finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

You know, and this verse in the last chapter of Ephesians, and it's the first verse in a section that's titled, at least in the ESV translation, as the whole armor of God.

And it is here that Paul is going to start breaking down the various pieces of armor that we as a Christian should wear that we may withstand against the devil.

It says down in verse 12 that we don't wrestle with flesh and blood but rather with rulers and authorities and cosmic powers over this present darkness.

There is a spiritual battle going on even now.

A battle for the souls of man.

A battle between light and darkness.

And we as Christians are in that battle and it's important that we put on the armor of God.

We stand strong in the Lord Jesus and in the strength of his might.

In and of ourselves, we cannot overcome the devil, but in Jesus Christ, we can.

And this verse reminds us that it is in the Lord Jesus that we stand strong.

What a great verse and absolutely great points that you have there, Jason.

And one thing that I just wanna reiterate on is that there is that spiritual battle like you talked about.

And sometimes, you know, that frightens people and it's not something that we want to get too deep into.

But the encouraging thing about this verse is that we don't have to because we have the Lord on our side and we just need to be strong in the strength of His might.

So just remember this as you go on about your day, that you have a strong, mighty God.

Have a blessed rest of your day.
