Episode 39 - Psalm 23:4

Hello, and welcome back to the two minute grace podcast.

今天我们读的经文是诗篇第20章第3到4节。

Our verse today is Psalm 20 three:four.

经上说：我虽然行过死荫的幽谷，也不怕遭害，因为你与我同在；你的杖，你的竿，都安慰我。

It says, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

生活中，我们每个人都会在某个时刻，感觉像是走在死荫的幽谷里。

You know, many times in life, we all, at one point or another, have felt like we were in the valley of the shadow of death.

周围的一切都阴沉、压抑、令人恐惧，情况变得特别可怕，但我们不必害怕。

Things around us are very morbid and somber and fearful, and things get real scary, but we don't have to fear.

神是我们的牧者。

God is our shepherd.

I know we've talked about this in previous devotionals on this podcast.

God is our shepherd.

经上说，祂的杖、祂的竿，都安慰我。

It says, His rod and His staff, they bring me comfort.

就像牧人带着杖和竿走在羊群旁边，用来抵挡野兽的袭击。

Much like a shepherd would carry a rod or a staff, when he was walking with his sheep, that way he could fend off predators.

神与我们同在。

God is with us.

祂必保护我们脱离邪恶。

He will protect us from evil.

即使在我们生命中最黑暗、最阴郁的时刻，也不必害怕。

And even when things are at their darkest and gloomiest in our lives, we do not have to fear.

神与我们同在。

God is with us.
