大家好,欢迎收听由我帕特里克主持的简单英语播客。

Hello and welcome to the Easy English Podcast with me, Patrick.

Speaker 1

还有我,安德烈。

And me, Andre.

Speaker 0

最近天气真的很热,对吧?

Well, it's been really hot recently, hasn't it?

Speaker 1

是的,确实很热。

It has.

Speaker 1

热得不得了。

It's so hot.

Speaker 1

夏天终于来了,对吧?

Summer has finally arrived, hasn't it?

Speaker 0

是的,夏天来了,但我一点都高兴不起来。

Yes, it has and I am not happy about it at all.

Speaker 0

那么今天我们聊什么?

So what are we talking about today?

Speaker 1

今天,我们来谈谈疑问句尾。

Today, we're talking about question tags.

Speaker 0

疑问句尾。

Question tags.

Speaker 0

那么,我们怎么使用疑问句尾呢?

So how do we use question tags?

Speaker 1

我们把疑问句尾放在句子末尾,把陈述句变成疑问句。

We put question tags at the end of sentences to make them into questions.

Speaker 0

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 0

比如,今天很热,不是吗?

So for example, it's hot today, isn't it?

Speaker 1

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 1

Isn't it 是疑问句尾。

Isn't it is the question tack.

Speaker 1

我们使用疑问句尾有两种原因。

And there are two reasons we use question tags.

Speaker 1

首先,为了确认信息。

First, to check information.

Speaker 1

例如,会议是在10点,对吧?

For example, the meeting is at 10:00, isn't it?

Speaker 1

哦,是的,确实是。

Oh yes it is.

Speaker 0

所以第二种用法是当我们认为对方和我们想法一致的时候。

So the second way to use this is when we think the person is thinking the same thing as us.

Speaker 0

所以我可能会说,这部新手机真的很酷,不是吗?

So I might say, oh, this new phone is really cool, isn't it?

Speaker 1

或者今天真的很热,不是吗?

Or it's really hot today, isn't it?

Speaker 1

所以使用疑问句尾能让你听起来更像母语者,对吧?

So question tags are really useful to sound just like a native, aren't they?

Speaker 0

是的,它们很有用。

Yes, they are.

Speaker 0

所以,当我们遇到一个不太熟悉或根本不认识的人时,我们可以使用疑问句来轻松地与他们交谈。

So perhaps we're meeting somebody who we don't know or don't know very well, we can use a question tag to talk to them quite easily.

Speaker 0

例如,我们可能看到他们在吃一道辣咖喱,然后说:哦,这道咖喱很辣,对吧?

So for example, we might see that they're eating a spicy curry and say, oh, that curry is spicy, isn't it?

Speaker 0

或者我们可能会谈论我们的工作,你知道的。

Or we might talk about the our work, know.

Speaker 0

哦,今天真的特别忙。

Oh, today is really busy.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Isn't it?

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

听起来更友好。

It sounds more friendly.

Speaker 1

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 1

我们来谈谈疑问句尾的规则。

Let's talk about the rules for question tags.

Speaker 1

所以有四条规则。

So there are four rules.

Speaker 1

第一条规则是关于助动词,比如

Rule number one is about auxiliary verbs like

Speaker 0

能。

can.

Speaker 0

你会弹吉他,对吧?

You can play guitar, can't you?

Speaker 0

应该。

Should.

Speaker 0

我们应该做作业,对吧?

We should do our homework, shouldn't we?

Speaker 0

有。

Have.

Speaker 0

你去过东京,不是吗?

You have been to Tokyo, haven't you?

Speaker 1

所以规则是,疑问句部分使用与主句相同的动词。

So the rule is you use the same verb in the question tag.

Speaker 1

所以如果是 can,就用 can't。

So if it's can you use can't.

Speaker 1

如果是 should,就用 shouldn't;如果是 have,就用 haven't。

If it's should you use shouldn't and if you use have you use haven't.

Speaker 1

好的,再仔细听一遍例子。

Okay listen to the examples again carefully.

Speaker 0

你会弹吉他,不是吗?

You can play the guitar, can't you?

Speaker 0

我们应该做作业,不是吗?

We should do our homework, shouldn't we?

Speaker 0

你去过东京,对吧?

You have been to Tokyo, haven't you?

Speaker 1

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 1

规则二。

Rule two.

Speaker 1

这是用于be动词,比如is、was、are。

This is for be verbs like is, was, are.

Speaker 1

这里有一些例子。

So here are some examples.

Speaker 1

所以是is。

So is.

Speaker 0

这咖喱真的很辣,不是吗?

This curry is really hot, isn't it?

Speaker 0

was。

Was.

Speaker 0

那节课很难,不是吗?

That class was difficult, wasn't it?

Speaker 0

是。

Are.

Speaker 0

我们今天要去旅行,对吧?

We're going on a trip today, aren't we?

Speaker 1

所以对于第二条规则,它和第一条一样。

So for rule two, it's the same as number one.

Speaker 1

你重复相同的动词。

You repeat the same verb.

Speaker 1

好的,第三条规则是针对一般现在时的动词。

Okay, rule three is for present simple verbs.

Speaker 1

比如像like、play、want这样的规则动词。

So regular verbs like like, play, want for example.

Speaker 1

这条规则有点不同。

The rule is a little different.

Speaker 1

我们不使用相同的动词。

We don't use the same verb.

Speaker 1

对于这些动词,我们在疑问句中使用do。

For these verbs we use do in the question tag.

Speaker 1

所以例如像。

So for example like.

Speaker 0

你喜欢电子游戏,是吗?

You like video games don't you?

Speaker 1

玩。

Play.

Speaker 0

他踢足球,是吗?

He plays soccer doesn't he?

Speaker 0

不是。

No.

Speaker 0

他们认识武志,是吗?

They know Takeshi, don't they?

Speaker 1

好的,这是第三条规则,第四条规则类似,但适用于过去简单时的动词。

Okay so this is rule three and rule four is similar but it's for past simple verbs.

Speaker 1

比如过去式的动词 went。

So past verbs like went.

Speaker 0

你昨天去电影院了,是吧?

You went to the movie theater yesterday, didn't you?

Speaker 0

吃了。

Ate.

Speaker 0

你吃了我的午餐,是吧?

You ate my lunch, didn't you?

Speaker 0

看。

Watch.

Speaker 0

我们以前看过这个节目,是吧?

We watched this show before, didn't we?

Speaker 1

所以这些动词,我们在疑问句中只需用 did。

So these verbs we just use did in the question tag.

Speaker 0

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 0

那么,今天的简易英语播客就到这里了。

So that's it for today's easy English podcast.

I hope you learned something new.

Speaker 0

So that's goodbye for me.

Speaker 0

And goodbye for me.
