让我们假装正在举行一场睡衣派对。此刻对我来说是晚上9点,我已经换上睡衣,开始感到疲倦,甚至有点恍惚。所以对我来说假装并不难,因为我已经80%进入睡衣派对的状态了,唯一缺少的就是严格来说我是一个人。

Let's pretend that we're having a sleepover. Right now, for me, it's 9PM, and I'm in my pajamas. And I'm getting tired, perhaps even a little delirious. So it's not gonna be that hard for me to pretend because I'm already 80% of the way to a sleepover. The only thing missing is I'm technically alone.

Speaker 0

但对你来说可能是下午三点。所以我建议你暂停这期节目,留到睡前再听,或者直接假装现在是晚上,我们正在开睡衣派对。今晚的派对上,我们要玩真心话大冒险。主要是真心话,因为虚拟环境下做大冒险有点困难,尤其是在播客里。大多数大冒险只有看着别人做才有意思。

But for you, it might be three in the afternoon. So I suggest you either pause this episode and save it for later when you're falling asleep, or just pretend that it's the evening time and we're having a sleepover. At tonight's sleepover, we're gonna be playing truth or dare. Mainly just truth, because it's kind of hard to do dares virtually, especially on a podcast. Like, majority of dares are only interesting if you're watching the person do the dare.

Speaker 0

严格来说这是个播客,很多人只是听而已。所以我不会,比如,扭臀六十秒。就算这是个挑战,我也觉得没意义——这又没什么声音效果。尤其对我来说,我的屁股扭动时根本不会发出声音。

And this is technically a podcast, and a lot of people just listen to it. So I'm not gonna, like, twerk for sixty seconds. Like, if that was a dare, I'm not like, what's the point of that? There's no audio element to that. Especially not for me, because my butt does not make a sound when I twerk.

Speaker 0

可惜我扭臀时就像蟋蟀叫一样安静。没有那种,你知道的,臀肉拍打的声音。所以基本上我们只玩真心话环节,但也会穿插几个大冒险。准备好兴奋起来吧。

It is like crickets when I twerk, unfortunately. There's no, you know, clapping of the cheeks for me, unfortunately. So mainly, we're just gonna be playing truth or truth. But we're gonna have a few dares in there. So get excited.

Speaker 0

找个舒服的姿势,穿上你的睡衣,假装已经换上睡衣,假装外面天黑了,让我们开始睡衣派对吧。本节目由eBay赞助播出。

Get cozy. Get in your pjs. Pretend that you're in your pjs. Pretend that it's dark out, and let's have a sleepover. This episode is presented to you by eBay.

Speaker 0

我们都有那件标志性单品。你知道的,那件让你成为你的东西,甚至成了你的代名词。如果你还没有找到属于自己的那件,eBay上就能找到。让我来给你们指条明路。

We all have that piece. You know the one. The thing that's so you, you've basically become known for it. And if you don't have yours yet, you'll find it on eBay. Let me put you on, people.

Speaker 0

eBay能让你找到那些独一无二、让人念念不忘、辗转反侧的单品。我说的可能是你盯了很久的秀场款红色皮夹克,印着牛仔图案的潮流上衣,或是2017年配色系列的修身抓绒衣。所有这些宝藏都能在eBay找到,他们还提供数百万件经过正品保障的主角级单品。eBay是二手和复古时尚的天堂。eBay,人们的心头好。

EBay is where you'll find those one of a kind, can't stop researching, stay up dreaming about pieces again and again. I'm talking about that off the runway red leather bomber you've had your eye on, the trendy top with the cowboy on it, or that sleek fleece from the 2017 colorway. All of these finds are on eBay, and they even offer millions of main character pieces backed by authenticity guarantee. EBay is the place for pre loved and vintage fashion. EBay, things people love.

Speaker 0

好的。首先,我们从真心话环节开始。我在网上找了一些随机的真心话问题,准备分享我最深最黑暗的秘密,因为睡衣派对就该这样。开始吧,第一个问题。

Okay. So first, we're gonna start out with truths. I found some random truth questions online, and I'm going to be sharing my deepest and darkest secrets, because that's what sleepovers are about. Let's begin. The first truth.

Speaker 0

问题是:你有哪些罪恶的快乐?我的罪恶快乐是八卦和狗血剧。比如,我喜欢上YouTube,在首页看到关于网络破事的狗血视频。超爱看,立马点开。

The question is, what's your guilty pleasure? My guilty pleasure is gossip and drama. Like, I love going on YouTube and seeing on my homepage a drama video about some stupid Internet bullshit. I love it. I click it.

Speaker 0

也不是每次都点,因为偶尔我还有自制力。知道这类内容会让我感觉不好,就忍住不点。但大概60%的时候还是会点,因为实在太有娱乐性了。奇怪的是,我觉得这像是一种逃避现实的方式——可能因为我对它的反应,就像多数人对真实犯罪故事的反应。

I don't always click it because sometimes I have restraint. And I know that this type of content makes me feel bad, so I have restraint and I don't click. But, like, 60% of the time, I do click because there's something about it that's just so entertaining. And it's so it it's weirdly like a form of escapism for me, I think. Possibly because I have the same reaction to it that I think most people have towards true crime.

Speaker 0

莫名有种未雨绸缪的感觉。据说这就是人们爱看真实犯罪的原因之一,能让你对类似事件发生在自己身上时有所准备。我在网上看过相关文章。

It makes me feel prepared in a weird way. That's apparently one of the reasons why people like to watch true crime so much. Because it makes you feel more prepared for if these types of things were to happen to you. I've I've heard that online. I've, like, read an article about that before.

Speaker 0

我觉得自己对网络狗血也有同样反应——看了别人的网络纠纷,就能避免自己踩坑。这有点像某种诡异的强迫症倾向。但同时也觉得很有意思:一看狗血视频就完全陷进去,比看教育类内容投入多了。

I feel like I have the same response to Internet drama because if I watch videos about other people's Internet drama, then I can prevent my own. It's kinda like a weird obsessive potentially obsessive compulsive sort of thing. But I also think too that it's interesting. I watch a drama video, and I am completely sucked in. More so than I am when I watch, like, educational content.

Speaker 0

教育视频虽好,但不会让我那么沉迷。另外我还超爱和朋友八卦,真希望自己没这爱好。在播客里聊过好几次这事,你们可能早知道了。

That's cool and all, but I'm not sucked into it in the same way. But also, I love gossiping with friends. I wish I didn't. I wish I was better than that. I've talked about this quite a bit on on my podcast before, so you probably already know this about me.

Speaker 0

但我就是爱八卦。大概因为我觉得人类特别有趣,分析他们让我特别满足。这对我来说既是学习也很有趣。某种程度上,狗血和八卦谁都爱看,只是我可能有点过度热衷了。

But I love gossip. I think it's because I find other human beings to be so interesting that to analyze them is really satisfying for me. It's really educational for me. It's really interesting for me. And I think to an extent, you know, drama and gossip is kind of enjoyable for everyone, but I think I like it maybe a little too much.

Speaker 0

所以我必须严格自律,不让自己看太多剧集视频,也不和朋友过多八卦。重申一下,我说的八卦并非那种邪恶或错误的方式——我不造谣,只讨论事实真相,这危害相对较小。但即便如此,不断剖析他人、反复讨论别人的缺点不足和错误,对大脑并无益处。

So I have to really be disciplined with myself to not watch too many drama videos, gossip too much with my friends. And again, like, I'm not gossiping in ways that I think are evil or wrong. I'm not starting rumors. I'm discussing facts and truths, which I think is less harmful. But still, picking people apart constantly, discussing people's flaws and shortcomings and mistakes constantly isn't good for the brain.

Speaker 0

我觉得这让我陷入一种过度批判的思维模式,最终这种批判会反噬自身——因为习惯性挑剔他人,结果对自己也变得异常苛刻。总之这就是我的小恶习。我在想还有没有其他类似的...啊对,YouTube短视频也算。

I feel like it puts me into a mindset that's a bit too critical, which then ends up turning onto myself, and I become way too critical of myself because I've been sort of critical of others. So anyway, that's my guilty pleasure. I'm trying to think if I have any other ones. Another guilty pleasure, YouTube shorts. Okay?

Speaker 0

因为我已经不刷Instagram了,这点做得还不错。TikTok也不刷。现在唯一算沾边社交媒体的就是YouTube,而且我手机里甚至没装YouTube应用。

Because I don't scroll on Instagram anymore. I'm I'm pretty good about it. I don't scroll on TikTok. The only social media adjacent app that I have is YouTube. And I actually don't even have the YouTube app downloaded on my phone.

Speaker 0

要看YouTube必须用iPad或者手机浏览器。但有时候我真的很想刷YouTube短视频,就想无脑滑动屏幕消磨时间。有几次我甚至特意用手机打开谷歌,搜索YouTube然后在浏览器里刷短视频——这简直太夸张了。

If I wanna use YouTube, I have to go either on my iPad or onto Google on my phone. But there have been moments when I've just really wanted to scroll on YouTube Shorts. I just wanna scroll and brain rot, if you will. And I've literally opened up Google on my phone and looked up YouTube and then watched YouTube Shorts in my browser. Like, that's extra.

Speaker 0

听起来很过分,但我确实这么干过。我深知刷视频对大脑有害,会损害注意力持续时间,扼杀创造力。但偶尔就是忍不住想刷。

That's a lot, but I've done it. I really think scrolling is bad for my brain. It's bad for my attention span. It's bad for my creativity. But every once in a while, I just wanna scroll.

Speaker 0

单纯就想滑动屏幕。不过YouTube短视频比TikTok平和多了,也没Instagram卷轴视频那么戏剧化。其实Instagram视频不算夸张,不知为何TikTok特别戏剧化。

I just wanna scroll. And I will say YouTube shorts are much less dramatic than TikTok. Much less dramatic than Instagram reels. Actually, Instagram reels aren't really dramatic. TikTok is really dramatic for some reason.

Speaker 0

对我来说Instagram卷轴和YouTube短视频内容差不多。可能Instagram算法稍微更让人上瘾些?但具体也说不上来。

Instagram reels and YouTube shorts are kind of the same kind of content for me. Maybe Instagram is a little bit more addicting than YouTube shorts. But, yeah, like the algorithm is just maybe a little bit more addicting. I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 0

不过话说回来,那是另一个让我感到内疚的小爱好。好了,下一个问题。如果从1到10分评价自己的外貌,你会打几分?我脑海中浮现的数字是7分。

But anyway, that's another guilty pleasure. Okay. Next. How would you rate your looks on a scale of one to 10? The number that comes to mind for me is seven.

Speaker 0

我觉得自己就是7分的水平。这么说并不是在贬低自己。有些人可能认为正确的做法是自称10分,好像我们都该觉得自己是满分。但我不认为自己是10分。

I feel like I'm a seven. And I'm not trying to like insult myself. I think some people would think the right thing to do would be to say I'm a 10. Like, we should all think that we're a 10. But I don't think I'm a 10.

Speaker 0

我不觉得自己是有史以来最性感迷人的万人迷,但这没关系。7分已经很不错了。我觉得自己挺可爱的,偶尔也会有些惊艳时刻。

I don't think I'm the most attractive, like sexy, hot person of all time. And that's okay. Like a seven is great. I think I'm cute. I think I have a hot moment here and there.

Speaker 0

但我也常有颜值不在线的时候。不过话说回来,吸引力这东西其实挺主观的。以我自己的标准来看,我觉得自己7分吧。大部分时间里,我觉得自己看起来还挺可爱的。

But I have many unattractive moments. I don't know. But then at the same time, like attractiveness is kind of subjective. So in my own eyes, I think I'm a seven out of 10. A decent portion of the time, I feel like I look pretty cute.

Speaker 0

大概70%的时间吧。剩下30%的时间里我就不太有自信。但这很正常,没人能时刻保持魅力四射。况且外貌也不是我人生中最重要的事。

Like, let's say 70% of the time. And then there's like 30% of the time where I don't feel very attractive. But that's fine. Nobody's gonna feel attractive all the time. And also, being attractive is not my number one priority in life.

Speaker 0

我的人生首要目标是做个好人。说实话,我觉得自己95%的时间都算是个好人,甚至可能更高,可能有98%。以我现在的状态,我觉得自己品行相当不错。

My number one priority in life is being a good person. And I feel like I'm a good person, honestly, probably 95% of the time. Maybe even higher, honestly. Maybe 98. At this point in my life, I feel like I'm a pretty good person.

Speaker 0

这对我来说更重要。比起外貌分数,这个品行分数对我更重要。我还是坚持打7分吧,说实话这已经算慷慨了,说不定我其实只有6分。

That's more important to me. That number is more important to me than my attractiveness number. I'm gonna say a seven out of 10. I think that's still pretty generous. Honestly, I might be a six.

Speaker 0

不。但我会给自己打七分。我觉得别人可能会给我六分。仅仅因为我不一定非得追求传统意义上的吸引力。比如,我选衣服时不会考虑传统审美标准。

No. But I'll I'll give myself a seven. And I think other people would probably rate me a six. Just because I'm not super inspired by being like traditionally attractive necessarily. Like, don't pick out my clothes considering traditional attractiveness.

Speaker 0

我的发型和妆容通常也不符合传统审美。我做的选择都是自己觉得酷的、符合我个人品味和审美的。但只要看看网上评论,我就发现不是所有人都认同我——不过这无所谓。所以对我来说是7/10,对别人可能是5/10或6/10。

My hair and my makeup aren't usually traditionally attractive. Like, I make choices that I think are cool to me, that are attractive to me and my taste and my eye. But all I gotta do is read is read read comments on the Internet, and I I see that not everyone agrees with me, but that doesn't really matter. So to me, I'm a seven out of 10. Maybe to everybody else, I'm like a five out of 10 or like a six out of 10.

Speaker 0

还有些我无法改变的生理特征。当然这很主观,每个人被吸引的点都不同。但我会坚持给自己打七分。

And there's also, like, physical attributes that I can't control. I mean, again, it's subjective. Like, everybody has different things that they're attracted to. I don't know. But I'm gonna give myself a seven out of 10.

Speaker 0

好的。下一个问题。你最近一次说谎是什么时候?

Okay. Next. Okay. Next truth. When was the last time you lied?

Speaker 0

老实说最近就说过谎。我谎称很忙取消了约会。哇,其实最近经常这样。

I'm gonna be honest. I've lied pretty recently. I lied about being busy to cancel plants. Wow. I've actually done that a lot recently.

Speaker 0

事实上今天就这么干了。我取消预约时编了个借口。有必要吗?我觉得无伤大雅。既能照顾对方感受,又能让取消显得更合理——也许你本来就有正当理由呢。

In fact, I did that today. I canceled an appointment today, and I made up some lie. I mean, do I need to lie about that? I think it's fine. If it's gonna save feelings, if it's gonna make canceling seem a little bit more valid, maybe there's a actual valid reason why you're canceling.

Speaker 0

比如今天取消预约确实事出有因,但我不想向接待员详细解释。懂我意思吗?编个善意的谎言比实话实说更省事。其实是因为今天情绪崩溃了,说实话,这么久以来第一次这样。

Like, for example, today, I canceled an appointment for a valid reason, but I I didn't really wanna get into it and explain that to the person who is running the front desk at the place that we had this appointment at. Do you know what I'm saying? It just made more sense to come up with a white lie that's just more digestible than actually be honest. Like, the reason why I canceled the appointment today was because I had a rough day emotionally. I really kinda was having a little bit of a mental breakdown, to be honest, for the first time in a very long time.

Speaker 0

最近我情绪一直很稳定,但说实话,今天却感到有点抑郁。我连行动都变得困难。虽然最近心理状态一直很强韧,但不知为何今天突然感到脆弱,就是提不起劲。可这种感受很难解释,也没必要向安排预约的人解释。而且最近我还撒谎推掉了社交邀约。

I've been very emotionally stable lately, but today, I just felt, to be honest, a little bit depressed. And I was having a hard time moving. I've been in a really strong place mentally lately, but for whatever reason today, I just felt weak, and I just couldn't do it. But that's a really hard thing to explain, and an unnecessary thing to explain to somebody managing appointments. But I've also lied to get out of hanging out with people recently.

Speaker 0

我经常这样。因为有时候我就是需要独处,有时候只想专心工作。但实话实说可能会让对方觉得他们在我生活中无足轻重。所以我宁愿编个更合理的借口,这样或许能顾及他们的感受。

I do that all the time. Because sometimes, I just need to be by myself. Sometimes, I just wanna get work done. But telling the truth about that might make the person feel like they're insignificant in my life or they don't matter. And so I'd rather give a more valid excuse because I think that would kinda preserve their feelings.

Speaker 0

我不觉得这有错,但那确实是我最后一次说谎。说实话我不常撒谎,这违背我的道德准则。我根本不相信谎言。每次撒谎后那种糟糕的负罪感,最终都会让我坦白真相。

And I don't think that's wrong, but that's that that's the last time I lied. I don't lie a lot, to be honest. It it's against my morals. Like, I just don't believe in it. And when I do lie, it makes me feel so terrible and bad that I end up just telling the truth eventually anyway.

Speaker 0

所以现阶段我基本不再说谎了。好了,下一个坦白:你上次哭是什么时候?我今天刚哭过。

So at this point in my life, just don't really lie anymore. Okay. Next truth. When was the last time you cried? The last time I cried was today.

Speaker 0

就是因为感到有点抑郁。我知道抑郁的原因:首先,我最近莫名遇到了创作瓶颈。过去几周大脑就像空了似的。这种情况持续下去就会让人抑郁,至少对我而言是这样。

It was today because I was feeling a little bit depressed. Now, I I know why I'm feeling depressed, think. Number one, because I'm having a bit of a creative mental block for some reason. Like, last few weeks, my brain's just been kind of empty. And at a certain point, that starts to become depressing, at least for me.

Speaker 0

我感觉大脑停止运转了。我的快乐和成就感大多来自创造性工作,而我的职业本质上就需要各种奇思妙想。所以当没有灵感时,不仅失去了创作带来的愉悦感,工作也停滞不前——而完成工作本身也是我的快乐源泉之一。

And I feel like my brain isn't working. I get a lot of my joy and fulfillment from doing creative tasks. And my job is very creative in weird ways. So if I don't have any ideas, not only am I not getting that joy and fulfillment from the act of doing a creative task, but also I'm not getting work done. And I also get a lot of joy and fulfillment from getting work done.

Speaker 0

这些事今天让我很沮丧,所以哭了。但我还是撑过来了。说实话今天没完成多少工作,不过现在我们要开睡衣派对,我感觉好多了。你呢?

And so that kind of upset me today, so I cried about that. But I pushed through it. And I'll be honest, I didn't get a lot done today, but now we're having a sleepover. So I feel better. Do you?

Speaker 0

嗯,从某些方面来说,这算是个挺有创意的点子。我最终想到了要做的事情,有方向可努力了——角色扮演式的过夜派对播客单集。所以我想,我大概确实算是想出点东西来了。这挺好的。

Well, in some ways, this is kind of a creative idea. I eventually had an idea of something to do, something to work on. Role play sleepover podcast episode. So, I mean, I kinda did, I guess, come up with something. So that's good.

Speaker 0

我觉得这对缓解我的精神崩溃有帮助,而且和你们在一起我也很开心。可能从我的语气里听不出来,因为今天我哭了一小会儿,而且现在很晚了。所以我有点累,但我真的玩得很开心。不过话说回来,过了晚上八点半,我就会变得特别面无表情。我的幽默感还在,但会变得有点不一样。

I think that that helped with my mental breakdown, but also I'm having fun with you all. Might not sound like it in my tone because I cried a little bit today, and it's late. So I'm tired, but I'm having a lot of fun. But also, like, past 08:30, I become pretty deadpan. Like, my sense of humor, it's there, but it's it's a little different.

Speaker 0

我现在有点像低电量模式,但这不代表我没用。只是状态有点不同。但到了凌晨两点左右,我会莫名来劲,变得超级亢奋,整个人怪里怪气的,精力突然又回来了。有时候会这样。看情况。

I'm kind of on low power mode, but that doesn't mean that I'm useless. I'm just a little different. But then at, like, two in the morning, I have a weird second wind, and I'm, like, super delirious, and I I get weird, and my energy like comes back up. Sometimes. Depends.

Speaker 0

总之,说点别的吧。我们来玩个大冒险调剂一下。好了,真心话玩得够多了,现在来个大冒险吧。

Anyway, moving on. Let's break it up with a dare. Okay. We've done a lot of truth. Let's do a dare now.

Speaker 0

分享你的手机搜索记录。来吧。好。我查了绿洲乐队在玫瑰碗的演出,那是洛杉矶的一个场馆,因为我可能会去看。

Share your phone's search history. Let's do it. K. Okay. I looked up the band Oasis playing the Rose Bowl, which is a venue here in Los Angeles, because I might go see that.

Speaker 0

我搜了安东尼·范塔诺,那个做音乐评测的YouTuber。不记得为什么要搜他。我还搜了免洗洗手液和用肥皂洗手的效果是否一样,因为我日常生活中更喜欢用洗手液。我很好奇它和用肥皂洗手的实际对比。

I looked up Anthony Fantano, the music reviewer YouTuber. I don't remember why I looked that up. I looked up, is hand sanitizer equally as effective as washing your hands? Because I prefer to just use hand sanitizer, like, general in my life. And I was curious how it compares to, like, actually washing hands with soap.

Speaker 0

结果发现,用肥皂和水洗手的效果要好得多。所以没错,这是我学到的新知识。好了。好了。

Turns out, washing hands with soap and water is much more effective. So yeah. That's something I learned. Okay. Okay.

Speaker 0

这太随机了。我查了生酮饮食,就是那种饮食法。生酮口臭。好吧。我查这个的原因是这样的。

This is so random. I looked up keto, like the diet. Keto stink breath. Okay. Here's why I looked this up.

Speaker 0

今天我和某人聊到生酮饮食。他们突然提起这个话题,我们就讨论起来。我说,你知道这会导致口臭吗?这种饮食法——顺便说下,生酮饮食就是摄入超高脂肪和蛋白质的饮食方式。反正我对这种饮食没兴趣。

I was talking to somebody today about keto. Randomly, they brought it up, and we were talking about it. And I was like, did you know that it gives you bad breath? Like, being on this diet, which by the way, the keto diet, if you don't know what it is, is basically a diet where you basically eat really high fat and really high protein. Anyway, I'm not interested in doing that diet.

Speaker 0

别担心。但我和别人聊这个时,我说你知道会口臭吗?他们很惊讶。于是我谷歌了一下。虽然不明白原理,但显然这种饮食会彻底改变你的口气。

Don't worry. But I was talking to somebody about it, and I was like, did you know it gives you bad breath? And they're like, what? And so I Googled it. And I don't really understand why it gives you bad breath, but apparently it makes like, being on that diet fully changes your breath.

Speaker 0

据说这是暂时的。好吧。还有啥?哦,我查了腿下垫枕头睡觉的事。最近我一直这样睡。

Apparently, it's temporary, but yeah. Okay. What else? Oh, I looked up sleeping with pillow under legs. So recently, I've been sleeping with a pillow under my legs.

Speaker 0

我现在习惯仰睡。以前趴着睡,但身体开始疼就改了。我想查查这样睡是否真的有益,或者有没有专用枕头。所以就搜索了。

I I'm a back sleeper nowadays. I used to be a stomach sleeper, but it started hurting my body. So I stopped, and now I sleep on my back. And I wanted to look up if that was something that actually was, like, beneficial or if there were any specific type of pillows that are good for that. So I looked that up.

Speaker 0

发现这对背痛确实有缓解作用(我正好有背痛)。有趣的是我自己先发现了这点——有晚背痛时,我觉得需要垫高腿,就用枕头垫着,结果这还真是个正经方法。挺酷的。

I basically discovered that it is good for your back pain if you have back pain, which I do. And it's interesting because I kinda discovered that on my own. Because one night I was laying down, and I had back pain, and I was like, I need my legs up. And so I just put a pillow under there, and turns out it's a fully a thing. So that was cool.

Speaker 0

好吧。再看几个。我查了纽约的酒店,因为常住的订满了,而我明天就要去纽约,所以得找新酒店。无聊。

Okay. Let me look at a few more. I looked up a bunch of hotels in New York because the hotel I normally stay at was sold out, and I'm going to New York literally tomorrow. So I had to find a new hotel. Boring.

Speaker 0

这里有什么劲爆的内容吗?好多酒店信息。我在滑动浏览。我在滑动浏览。哦,好吧。

Anything like juicy in here? A lot of hotels. I'm scrolling. I'm scrolling. Oh, okay.

Speaker 0

我查了一下我最爱的冻酸奶店是我们的,因为我现在对冻酸奶着迷得不行。真的着迷了。洛杉矶有家店卖希腊冻酸奶,味道简直绝了。天啊,我恨不得天天吃,要不是得开十五分钟车才能到的话。

I looked up my favorite frozen yogurt place is ours, because I'm obsessed with frozen yogurt right now. Obsessed. And there's this place in LA that has frozen Greek yogurt, and it's so so good. Oh my god. I could eat it every day, and I would if it wasn't like a fifteen minute drive.

Speaker 0

要是只要五分钟车程,我就完蛋了。我肯定顿顿都吃酸奶。当然是冻酸奶啦。好吧,刚才那个算是个挑战。

If it was like a five minute drive, I'd be screwed. I'd be eating yogurt for every meal. Frozen yogurt, of course. Okay. So that was a dare.

Speaker 0

老实说那不算什么劲爆内容,有点无聊。好了,继续吧。咱们回到真心话环节。

That wasn't that juicy, to be honest. Like, kinda boring. Alright. Moving on. Let's go back to some truths.

Speaker 0

你最大的不安全感是什么?说实话我不常思考这个问题。不如我们一起分析下。不是外貌问题,这方面我已经看开了不少。

What's your biggest insecurity? To be honest, I don't really think about this a lot. So let's work through it together. It's not my looks. I've kinda let that go to an extent.

Speaker 0

虽然我人生中确实有过外貌焦虑的时期,曾过度关注自己的长相和缺陷。但可以说我已经释怀了。所以问题可能更多出在我的思维方式或性格上。奇怪的是,我觉得最大的不安全感来自年轻时的自己。

Like, there's been times in my life where how I look has been my biggest insecurity. Like, I've been obsessed with what I look like, and obsessed with my flaws. I've let that go, I would say. So it probably has something more to do with my mind, my personality. I would say my biggest insecurity is who I was when I was younger, weirdly.

Speaker 0

因为我在网络上长大,任何人都能随时看到我青少年时期的模样,这让我对那个阶段的自己异常敏感。当然,现在的我在无数方面都已成长许多。但那个被永久记录的青少年形象,有时确实让我感到困扰。这种不安全感源于回看过去时,总觉得当年的自己很尴尬——比如当时根本搞不清人生重点。

Like, because I grew up on the Internet, and everyone can access who I was as a teenager anytime that they want, I'm hyper aware of who I was as a teenager. And naturally, I've grown a lot since I was a teenager in a bazillion different ways. And so the sort of immortality of my teenager self, I think sometimes is a challenge for me. It's sort of an insecurity for me because I look back, and I think I was cringe. Like, I didn't have my priorities in order.

Speaker 0

我以前的工作态度没那么好。对我来说,有很多事情可能有点尴尬,但我不确定。我其实没那么在意这些。虽然确实有一点,但还不至于让我夜不能寐。说实话,我现在并没有太多不安全感。

I didn't have as good of a work ethic. Like, there's so many different things that to me are maybe a bit embarrassing, but I don't know. I'm not really that insecure about that. Like, I I am a little bit, but I wouldn't say it, like, keeps me up at night. To be honest, I don't have that many insecurities at this point.

Speaker 0

我已经放下了很多。天啊,我刚刚意识到自己最大的不安全感是什么了——是性魅力。我对此感到不安。

I've really let a lot of them go. Oh my god. I just realized what my biggest insecurity is. My biggest insecurity is my sexualness. I feel insecure.

Speaker 0

这话题太私密了,不过睡衣派对就是聊这些的嘛。听着,我对自己在男性眼中是否性感这件事缺乏自信。

This is so TMI. This is what sleepovers are for though. Come on. Okay. Like, I feel insecure about my ability to be like hot to a guy.

Speaker 0

我觉得自己天生不是那种特别会调情、特别女性化的人。我不一定是那种外显的性感类型。这有时会让我不安,因为我喜欢的男生可能渴望这种特质。问题不在于我没有这种潜质,而是我会因此心理上自我设限。

Like, I feel like I'm not naturally the type to be super flirty, super feminine. I'm not like a super outwardly sexual person necessarily. And so that's something that makes me insecure sometimes, because I feel like that's something that boys that I like probably desire. The thing is, it's not like it's not maybe in me. Like it's in me, but I psych myself out about it.

Speaker 0

但我也很克制这方面的表现,因为这就是我的本性。这大概是我最大的不安全感——担心自己吸引不了喜欢的男生。反而会奇怪地自我代入朋友区,像是一种防御机制:试图先成为朋友,而不是展现 flirt 的魅力。但这并非完全不存在。

But I'm also like very sparing with it as well, because that's just who I am. But that's I think probably my biggest insecurity is just feeling like I'm not hot to guys I like. And instead, I feel like I almost will like in a weird way, maybe even kind of friend zone myself or like, it's almost like a defense mechanism. I'm like, trying to like be their friend instead of like, be flirtatious and exciting. But it's not like it never comes out, or it's not like it doesn't exist.

Speaker 0

我认为这种特质是存在的,只是恋爱中会更困难。因为和约会对象太熟悉太亲密,突然要从朋友模式切换到性感模式会特别尴尬——毕竟恋爱本就包含友谊成分。五分钟前还是朋友相处,现在突然要展现性感?

Like, I do think it's there. I do think it happens. And it's even more hard at times in a relationship because I'm so comfortable with who I'm dating, and I'm so close with them that it becomes even more embarrassing and weird for me to switch from being like their friend, because, you know, part of dating is being friends, to like, oh, wait. Now I'm supposed to be like hot? But like, we were just like hanging out as friends five minutes ago.

Speaker 0

这种转换对我来说很困难。有时候展现性魅力会让我尴尬到脚趾抠地。好吧。

Like, that's a hard transition for me. I don't know. I just I get embarrassed by being like sexual sometimes. I just it makes me cringe. Okay.

Speaker 0

下一个问题。你最嫉妒谁?这个问题很有趣。我觉得我总有个嫉妒对象,但现在确实没有。

Next. Who are you most jealous of? This is an interesting one. I feel like I always have someone that I'm jealous of. I actually don't have one right now.

Speaker 0

我这么说不是为了回避问题——因为我会回答的——只是目前确实没有特定人选。不过我通常都会嫉妒某个女孩,归根结底是因为觉得她特别酷,然后嫉妒她比我更酷。

And I'm, again, not just saying that to avoid answering the question, because I am gonna answer the question. I just don't have anyone in particular right now. But I usually have someone that I'm jealous of. It's always a girl. And it comes down to me thinking that this particular girl is maybe cool, and being jealous that I feel like she's cooler than me.

Speaker 0

懂我意思吗?举个例子,有次我特别嫉妒一个女孩,因为她和我前男友聊了很久。我是通过小道消息知道的,不是我前男友告诉我的。

You know what I mean? I'll give some examples. Like, there's this one time I was really jealous of this girl, because she talked to my ex boyfriend for a while. I found out through the grapevine. Didn't find it out from my ex.

Speaker 0

是从其他渠道听说的。那个女孩让我觉得她比我成熟太多。当时我还觉得自己像个青少年,虽然刚二十出头,可能就20岁。

Found it out elsewhere through the grapevine. And this particular girl felt so much more mature than me. I felt, at the time, still like a teenager. I was in my very early twenties. I was maybe 20.

Speaker 0

但总觉得自己还是个小女孩。而那个女孩像个真正的女人,比我聪明,比我优雅。她的穿衣风格更成熟,职业道路也更成熟,甚至更浪漫。

But I felt like a teenager still. I felt like a girl. And this particular girl felt like a woman, smarter than me, more elegant than me. I felt like her style was more mature, like her clothing was more mature. Her career path felt more mature, more romantic even.

Speaker 0

当时我在和一个年长的男人交往,他和那个女孩说话让我特别难受。虽然选择了我,但那个女孩的成熟度真的刺痛了我。说实话,我嫉妒了她整整一年。也有过其他情况——用' fixation '这个词可能不太准确。

And at the time, I was dating a guy who was older than me, and it really bothered me that he talked to her. Even though we were dating, he chose me for whatever reason. This particular girl felt so much more mature, and it just really got under my skin. And so for like, honestly, probably a year, I was very jealous of this particular girl. There have also been times where I've fixated on a particular girl who fixated is the wrong word.

Speaker 0

我不是在跟踪这些女孩。但经常会出现让我嫉妒的对象,她们像是我在某个阶段理想中的化身。有趣的是,很多时候我根本不认识她们,这种嫉妒其实是我的心理投射——她们可能根本不是我幻想中的样子。

I'm not like stalking these girls. But there's oftentimes someone who is making me feel jealous. Like, they're the epitome of what I wish I was at a particular moment. And again, a lot of times I don't even know these girls, which is interesting because a lot of times, I'm projecting onto these girls. They're not actually probably living the life that I think they're living.

Speaker 0

他们可能过着美好的生活,但我正在根据他们在互联网上的形象或与我生活的某种联系(比如他们和我正在约会的对象交往过之类的事),浪漫化地想象他们的生活。我认为我现在没有这种嫉妒对象的原因,是因为我正处于一个情感上相当舒适的阶段,自我感觉相当安全。尽管我遭遇了创作瓶颈,但我仍将精力投入到激发灵感的事物上,至少专注于度过这段时期。我不是很确定。

They might have a wonderful life, but I'm romanticizing what I think their life is based on their Internet presence or their connection to my life in whatever way if they, you know, dated a guy I'm dating or whatever. I think the reason why I don't have someone like that right now is because I'm in a pretty comfortable place emotionally where I feel pretty secure in myself. I'm distracted in putting my energy towards working on things that are inspiring to me even though I have had sort of a creative dry spell. I'm at least focusing on getting through it. I'm not I don't know.

Speaker 0

我现在并没有在想其他人,尽管我正经历一段艰难时期,这还挺有趣的。所以我不太确定。但在我的一生中,确实有过许多让我嫉妒的女孩。最终这种情绪都会消散,但过程非常耐人寻味。

I'm not I'm not thinking about other people right now. Even though I'm going through a hard time, which is kind of interesting. So I don't know. But throughout my life, I've had many of these girls that I've been jealous of. And it eventually resolves, but it's very interesting.

Speaker 0

好的,继续。我暂时打断本期节目,告诉大家本节目由Skims赞助播出。我是个既重视时尚与精致外表,也注重舒适度的人。因为当我不舒服时,就无法做真实的自己。

Okay. Moving on. I briefly interrupt this episode to let you know that this episode is brought to you by Skims. I'm somebody who prioritizes fashion and looking chic, but I also prioritize comfort. Because when I'm not comfortable, I can't be myself.

Speaker 0

SKIMS既有满足我日常需求的产品,也有针对特殊场合的专项设计。比如参加活动时需要塑身衣,或是能让胸部呈现特定效果的专用文胸——我知道SKIMS总能满足这些需求。我最爱的内裤基本全是平角款,因为我实在太喜欢平角裤了。想要更舒适的?我会选棉质款。如果需要完全隐形的内搭,就穿'适配所有人'系列。

SKIMS has stuff for every day for me, but also specific products for very specific needs. If I'm going to an event and I need some sort of shapewear or some sort of specific bra that will make my boobs look a certain way, I I know SKIMS has the thing for that. My favorite underwear are pretty much any of the boy shorts because I just love boy shorts. If I want something more cozy, you know, I'll I'll choose the cotton ones. If I want something that disappears under my clothing, I'll wear the fits everybody collection.

Speaker 0

这些平角裤简直不可思议。欢迎登录skims.com选购我最推荐的文胸和内裤。下单后请务必告知是我推荐的——在问卷中选择'播客',并在下拉菜单里选中'随心所欲'选项。现在让我们回到节目。

The boy shorts are incredible. Shop my favorite bras and underwear at skims.com. And after you place your order, be sure to let them know that I sent you. Select podcast in the survey, and select anything goes in the drop down menu that follows. Now back to the episode.

Speaker 0

另一个真相:你在最奇怪的地方撒过尿?我就有些奇葩经历。记得在Del Taco快餐店的男厕小便池解决过,还有次在科罗拉多州自驾游时,用矿泉水瓶在后座方便。

Another truth. Where is the weirdest place that you've peed? I've peed in some weird places. I've peed in a urinal at a Del Taco, I think. I've peed in a water bottle in the back seat of my friend's car when we were driving somewhere in Colorado.

Speaker 0

高中时醉酒后曾在别人家前院撒尿,那可不是我的高光时刻。前几天徒步时还在树林里解决过——顺便说这体验糟透了,真的超级烦人,我讨厌野外如厕。

I've peed on someone's front lawn in high school when I was drunk. It wasn't my best moment. The other day, I was on a hike, and I peed in the woods, which sucks by the way. I literally it's so annoying. I hate peeing in the woods.

Speaker 0

我讨厌这样。太糟糕了。我身上全是蜘蛛网,因为我不得不离开步道,这样别人就看不到我在小便,但到处都是蜘蛛网,把我吓坏了。然后,我还得深蹲下来,抓住一棵树才能尿尿,还得摆对姿势,免得尿到鞋子上。最后我连擦的东西都没有,因为我忘了带卫生纸。

I hate it. It's so terrible. There were like spider webs all over me, because I had to, you know, get off the trail so that nobody could see me when I was peeing, but then there's a bunch of spider webs, which was freaking me out. And then, you know, I had to really like squat down and grab onto a tree to pee and be in the right position so that I didn't pee on my shoes. And then I didn't have anything to wipe with because I forgot to like, pack toilet paper.

Speaker 0

通常我不会去那种步道起点没有厕所的徒步路线。这次偏偏就没有厕所,我只能在树林里解决。现在我要开始随身带卫生纸了。总之,这是个惨痛的教训。谢天谢地我没拉肚子。

Like, I usually don't go on hikes where there's no bathroom at the start of the trail. This particular one, there was no bathroom, so I had to pee in the woods. Now I'm gonna start packing toilet paper. But anyway, I learned that the hard way. Thank God I didn't poop.

Speaker 0

你能想象吗?想象一下。我该怎么办?我是说,我可能会...我也不知道。我真的不知道。

Can you imagine? Imagine. Like, what would I have done? I mean, I would've I don't know. I I actually don't know.

Speaker 0

用树叶擦?呃。我真希望那天永远别到来。但我现在确实迷上了徒步。目前超爱这项运动。

Use leaves, I guess? Ugh. I really hope that that day doesn't come for me. But I am in a hiking phase. I love hiking right now.

Speaker 0

所以我要开始准备些必需品,以防紧急情况发生。好了,说下一个真心话。你每天自拍多少次?以我现在的生活状态,几乎一张都不拍。

So I need to start bringing proper things so that I'm prepared for if emergency strikes. Anyway okay. Let's do another truth. How many selfies do you take per day? At this point in my life, I mean, not even one.

Speaker 0

我大概两周才自拍一次,这不是开玩笑。不过,我每天都会用手机屏幕当镜子照吗?绝对天天照。但不会真的拍照。以前我每天能拍20张自拍。

I probably take one selfie every two weeks, and that is not a joke. However, do I check my phone reflection to see what I look like every day? Absolutely every day. But I don't actually take a photo. I used to take literally probably 20 selfies a day.

Speaker 0

三年前,甚至不到三年前,大概是两年前吧,我天天自拍,现在都不理解当时为什么那样。可能是因为几年前我更在意自己的外表。所以就像是在打卡——今天看起来怎么样?

Three years ago, not even. Maybe two years ago, selfies every day, which I don't really understand what I was doing. I think it's because I was much more focused on my appearance a few years ago. And so I was almost kinda checking in. Like, what do I look like today?

Speaker 0

你知道吗?我今天看起来还可爱吗?还能拍出可爱的照片吗?这几乎成了一种强迫症,挺可悲的。不过幸运的是,那段日子已经过去了。

You know? Do I still look cute today? Can I still take a cute photo today? It was almost like an obsessive thing, which is kinda sad. But luckily, those days are over.

Speaker 0

我们不再拍那种自拍了。来玩个挑战吧,好久没玩了。把你最近几条短信大声念出来。好。

We're done with selfies like that. Let's let's do a dare. It's been a while. Read some of your last few text messages out loud. Okay.

Speaker 0

老实说,我发的短信都没什么有意思的内容。让我看看...录视频时我接到电话,我说'我正在录像'。超无聊的。好吧。

Honestly, I don't really text anything that interesting. So let's see. While I was recording this, I got a call, and I said, I'm recording. Super interesting. Okay.

Speaker 0

我在和朋友发短信说要去纽约的事,因为他们也要去纽约。而我明天就要去纽约了。又去。两周前刚去过,现在又要去。总之我们互相询问抵达纽约的时间。

I was texting my friends about being in New York, because they're actually gonna be in New York. And I'm going to New York tomorrow. Again. I was just in New York two weeks ago, and now I'm going back again. Anyway, so we were asking each other when we get to New York.

Speaker 0

无聊透顶。试着找点有趣的内容吧。很多都是工作相关的随机短信。这里头没一条有意思的,全是工作安排和后勤事务。

Super fucking boring. Let's try to find something interesting. A lot of like random work related texts. There is nothing interesting in here. It's all like work related stuff and like logistical related stuff.

Speaker 0

比如我发短信告诉我爸这次要和我一起去纽约。上次旅行是我一个人去的,这次他要陪我。都很无聊。太无趣了,真希望内容能精彩些。

Like me texting my dad about my dad's coming to New York with me on this trip. The last trip I went on alone, but this one he's coming with me. Like, it's all boring. That's so boring. I wish that was more interesting.

Speaker 0

抱歉。说实话我这人挺无趣的。短信里没什么暧昧对象,懂吗?我现在不是那种人生阶段了。

Sorry. I'm kind of a I'm kind of boring, to be honest. Like, I don't have like, it's not like I have all these boys in my texts. You know? I'm not in that phase of my life.

Speaker 0

我真的不认为我曾经那样过,但现在绝对绝对不在那个阶段了。比如,我有一些亲密的朋友,每周会聊几次,但我们甚至没聊什么有趣的事情。好吧,这真的很无聊。行吧。

I don't really think I ever have been, but there's definitely definitely not in that phase right now. Like, I I have like close friends that I talk to a few times a week, but like we don't even talk about that much interesting stuff. Okay. So that was really boring. Okay.

Speaker 0

继续。另一个真相。你上次拉裤子是什么时候?有趣的故事,比我想承认的要近一些。再次声明,别指望我会告诉你这该死的细节,对我友善点。

Moving on. Another truth. When was the last time you shit your pants? Funny story, more recent than I wish to admit. And again, don't let's not like I'm gonna tell you this fucking story, but let's be nice to me.

Speaker 0

明白吗?因为我知道这很恶心。我知道自己24岁了,不该再发生这种事。对吧?但我确实发生了。

Okay? Because I know it's disgusting. I know I'm 24 years old, and I like shouldn't be shitting myself. Right? But I did.

Speaker 0

就在几个月前。我知道这不是我第一次讲拉裤子的故事。几年前,我有过一小段频繁拉裤子的时期,因为当时在调试一种药物——其实只是补充剂——用来缓解我的肠易激综合征(IBS)。特别是IBS-C类型,基本症状是肠胃不适伴随长期便秘。由于IBS,我从童年起就长期便秘。

And it was like a few months ago. I know this isn't the first time I've told a story about shitting my pants. A few years ago, I was having a little brief stint of shitting my pants because I was trying to figure out a medication, actually really just a supplement, that was helping with my IBS. Particularly my IBS C, which basically is irritable bowel syndrome where you have an upset tummy and you're constipated all the time. I have been chronically constipated since I was a kid due to having IBS.

Speaker 0

几年前我开始尝试解决这个问题,开始服用补充剂。别担心,我的医生都知道我在吃什么。随便吧。

And a few years ago, I started trying to figure out how to sort of solve the issue. And I started taking supplements. Don't worry. All of my doctors are aware of what I'm taking. Whatever.

Speaker 0

但我需要确定这种补充剂的合适剂量。顺便说,这不是泻药。但如果过量会导致腹泻。所以我花了些时间调整剂量,自那以后就没再失控过。

But I had to figure out how much of this particular supplement to take. It's not a laxative, by the way. But if you take too much, it can give you diarrhea. So it took me a little bit of time to figure it out. And ever since then, I haven't shit myself.

Speaker 0

只是中间有过一小段尴尬期,但之后完全停止了,直到最近才又发生。那天晚上,我的胃部感觉异常翻腾疼痛,腹部胀得厉害,还有点恶心。非常奇怪。

There's just a little phase there where I had a few rough moments. But then it stopped completely for like years until recently. Okay? On this particular evening, my stomach felt really like rumbly and achy, and my stomach was like super distended, and I kinda felt nauseous. It was very weird.

Speaker 0

我我我当时真的不知道发生了什么。而且那天晚上我很难入睡。顺便说一句,我是一个人。没有男孩在场什么的。谢天谢地。

I I I didn't really know what was going on. And I had a hard time falling asleep that night. I was alone, by the way. Nobody like no no boys were were over or anything. Thank God.

Speaker 0

然后我在半夜醒来,因为我我得上厕所。腹泻。对吧?抱歉。信息量太大,但这是你他妈自找的。

And then I woke up in the middle of the night because I I had to go to the bathroom. Diarrhea. Right? Sorry. TMI, but you fucking asked for it.

Speaker 0

你本可以跳过这段,但你没有。你决定坐下来听,你知道接下来会是什么。所以这是你的问题。这其实是个恶心的故事。我都后悔讲出来了,不过没关系。

You could've skipped through this, and you didn't. You decided to sit, and you knew what was coming. So that's on you. And this is actually such a disgusting story. I'm like regretting telling it, but all good.

Speaker 0

我坐在马桶上。时间很晚了,大概是凌晨三点,我头晕乎乎的。我甚至不知道发生了什么。然后我就上厕所,上厕所,上厕所。我完成了我的‘项目’,你懂的。

I sit down on the toilet. It's super late, like three in the morning, and I'm woozy. Like, I don't even know what's going on. And I'm going to the bathroom, going to the bathroom, going to the bathroom. I complete my project, you will.

Speaker 0

站起来,开始走回我的床。这很恶心。所以请做好准备。以后别拿这个来对付我。我讲这个故事已经很慷慨了。

Get up, and start walking back to my bed. This is disgusting. So please brace yourself. And don't use this against me later. I'm being generous with this story.

Speaker 0

我闻到有点不对劲的味道。我就想,什么?我可是把自己清理得很干净。这不对劲吧?我觉得很奇怪。

I smell something a little off. I'm like, what? Like, I very much clean myself up. Like, this is not what? And I was like, this is weird.

Speaker 0

而且我还半睡半醒的。所有的灯都关着。我就想,那是什么?我回到床上,味道还在。我还是能闻到一点不对劲的味道。

Like, and I'm still like half asleep. All the lights are out. I was like, what is that? And I get back into bed, and it's not going away. I can still smell something a little bit off.

Speaker 0

我当时就想,这到底是怎么回事?于是我打开灯,心想是不是猫在哪里拉屎了?到底什么情况?老实说,我觉得可能是轻微食物中毒,结果我在床上拉裤子了。

And I'm like, what is happening? So I turn my lights on, and I'm like, did the cat poop somewhere? Like, what's going on? Anyway, I shit the bed. I think I had minor food poisoning, to be honest.

Speaker 0

没错,我确实在床上拉裤子了。但神奇的是,居然没弄脏床单。

And I shit the bed. Yeah. I did. But you know what's crazy, actually? It didn't get onto my sheets.

Speaker 0

全拉在短裤里了,虽然恶心但量不算多。既然短裤脏了,现在我得告诉你后续处理——毕竟谁穿着屎裤子都得解决对吧?我第一反应当然是立刻脱掉短裤。

It was in my shorts, which is disgusting, but it wasn't that much. So it was in the shorts, and well, now I have to tell you what I did after that, because now I have shit in my shorts. Right? So it's like, what do you do? So the first thing I did, obviously, was take the shorts off immediately.

Speaker 0

用三倍时间彻底清洁自己,真的里里外外洗了个遍,肥皂水轮番上阵,你懂的。

Clean myself up triple time, whatever. Like, really clean myself up. Like, we're soaping. We're watering. You know what I mean?

Speaker 0

然后我就想:见鬼,现在这条脏短裤怎么处理?我当时的想法是——先说好,接下来很恶心,你会反胃吗?

And I was like, okay. What in hell? Because now I have these shorts that I need to deal with. So I my idea was, I'm going to this is disgusting. Are you grossed out?

Speaker 0

是不是要取关我了?毕竟每周做两期播客,迟早会讲到拉裤子这种事,你懂的。

Are you unsubscribing? Are you unfollowing? Etcetera. Well, when you do two podcast episodes a week, eventually, you have to tell the story about how you shit yourself. You know?

Speaker 0

不讲不行啊。总之我把短裤塞进马桶,来回摇晃了整整五分钟没停——没开玩笑,直到它们基本干净为止。我就坐在那儿机械地晃着,因为实在不知道还能怎么处理这条脏裤子。总不能直接扔了吧?结果这法子居然挺管用。

You just have to. Anyway, I put my shorts in the toilet, and I shook them around, and shook them around, and shook them around for literally, I'm not kidding, five minutes straight until they were honestly virtually clean. I literally just sat there and shook them because I was like, I don't know what else to do with these shorts. They're very dirty, and I'm not just gonna throw the like, what else? So that actually ended up working out pretty well.

Speaker 0

然后我安全地把它们放进洗衣机,立刻清洗,事情就这样结束了。那是我最后一次抖裤子。好了,继续。另一个真相。

And then I safely brought them to my washing machine, and I washed them immediately, and that was the end of it. So that was the last time I shook my pants. Alright. Moving on. Another truth.

Speaker 0

你独自一人时会做什么奇怪的事?第一,我得说,我会以非常怪异的方式在房子里走来走去。我会一边打电话或思考某事,一边在客厅里绕圈走,一遍又一遍,非常古怪。

What's a weird thing you do when you're alone? Number one, I would say, I walk around my house in a very bizarre way. I will be on the phone or just thinking about something, and I will walk in circles around my living room. Like, over and over and over again. It's very odd.

Speaker 0

吃完饭后我会舔盘子。我会挖鼻孔,然后找个最近的社会可接受的地方处理它。我不是怪物,不会到处乱弹。小时候我可能确实干过那种事。

I'll lick the plate after I'm done eating. I will pick my nose, find the nearest socially acceptable place to put it. I'm not like a monster, you know. I'm not flaking it around. When I was a kid, I definitely probably did that.

Speaker 0

但从来没吃过。所以请尊重我这一点。我还做过什么怪事?不知道,大概就是普通人类会做的那些事。

Never ate it though. So respect me for that. What's some other weird stuff I do? I don't know. Like all the normal human stuff.

Speaker 0

我会放屁,会打嗝。不怎么自言自语,偶尔会和猫说话,但频率不高。

I fart. I burp. I don't talk to myself, really. Every once in a while, occasionally, I'll talk to my cats. Occasionally, but not very often.

Speaker 0

是啊,我也没那么怪。好吧,来个挑战调剂一下:用英国口音说话。

Yeah. I'm not that weird. Okay. Let's break it up with a dare. Talk in a British accent.

Speaker 0

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 1

我今天在聚会上玩得非常开心——抱歉,让我重说一次。实际上,今晚的睡衣派对让我感到无比美妙,这真是个美好的夜晚。这样说可以吗?

I'm having a wonderful time today at sorry. Let me try let me try that again, actually. I'm having an absolutely wonderful time at our sleepover this evening. It's been truly a beautiful evening. Was that good

Speaker 0

还是怎样?我其实不太擅长模仿口音,这不是我的强项,也不觉得有什么好炫耀的。你知道有些人就特别喜欢模仿口音吧?

or what? I'm not particularly good at accents. It's not really my thing. It's not something that I think is like a flex. Like, you know people who just love to do an accent?

Speaker 0

就像那是他们的派对绝活?这对我没什么吸引力。虽然我得承认这很厉害——别误会,确实厉害——但总觉得有点别扭。

Like, that is their party trick? That doesn't move the needle for me. I think it's impressive. Like, don't get me wrong. It is impressive, but there's something about it I don't like.

Speaker 0

比如,我不太想听别人刻意模仿非母语口音,总觉得有点尴尬。不是想冒犯谁,确实有很多人喜欢在派对上秀澳洲口音之类的,我理解...

Like, don't wanna hear other people's accent, like, doing an accent that they don't naturally have. Something about it just kinda makes me cringe a little bit. And I'm not trying to insult anyone because there are some wonderful people out there that love to show up to a party and be like, listen to my Australian accent. You know? It's like, I get it.

Speaker 0

我明白,这确实是种技能,很酷的技能。但就是会让我有点不自在,虽然佩服,但不会让我惊叹到合不拢嘴。

I get it. It's it's a cool it is a skill. It's definitely a skill. But like, I just, it makes me a little bit uncomfortable, and it makes me cringe a little bit, and like, it's impressive, but it doesn't move the needle for me. Like, my jaw's not on the floor.

Speaker 0

好了,下一个真心话:如果能当一天名人,你会选谁?为什么?我根本不想当任何名人,没有一个明星的生活让我觉得'哇靠这也太棒了'——

Okay. Next, let's do another truth. If you could be any celebrity for a day, who would you choose, and why? I wouldn't wanna be any celebrity for a day. There's like not one celebrity I look at, and I'm like, holy shit.

Speaker 0

可能有人会觉得惊讶,但想到名流们的生活状态,我反而感到恐惧。完全不羡慕,不在乎他们坐不坐私人飞机。

Your life seems awesome. Which might seem shocking to some of you, but when I think of a list celebrities, I kinda shudder in terror about what that existence would be like. Like, I don't envy it at all. I don't crave it at all. I don't care if they're flying on the private jet.

Speaker 0

我不在乎他们是否有个火辣的伴侣,也不在乎他们自己有多迷人。我真的不在乎。无法去杂货店、逛商场,无法信任任何人,因为你是全世界最出名的人之一。说实话,那简直就是我的噩梦。

I don't care if they have a really hot significant other. I don't care if they're really hot. I don't I don't care. Not being able to go to the grocery store, go to the mall, not being able to trust anyone, because you're the most famous person, one of the most famous people in the world. Like, that is my nightmare, to be honest.

Speaker 0

所以这很难选择,但我想说或许——哦,我知道答案了。我会选体操运动员西蒙·拜尔斯,那位奥运冠军,因为我超想知道那样翻腾是什么感觉。肯定爽翻了。我知道那种感觉,因为我小时候是竞技啦啦队员,也能翻几个跟头——当然比不上西蒙·拜尔斯,但多少会点儿。

So it's hard for me to choose, but I would say perhaps oh, I know my answer. I would say Simone Biles, the gymnast, the Olympic gymnast, because I just wanna know what it would feel like to be able to flip like that. It probably feels so good. I know it feels good because I was a competitive cheerleader growing up, and I could flip to an extent. Not like Simone Biles, but I could flip a little bit.

Speaker 0

比如我能后空翻,但那些带转体的动作就不行了。我知道翻腾的快感,但水平有限。我特别想体验真正的巅峰感觉。虽然这答案很无聊,但就是我的真实想法。不过当一天帕丽斯·希尔顿应该也很有趣,主要是想体验九十年代是什么样。

You know, I could do like a back flip, but I couldn't do any of the twisting stuff. I couldn't do it like I couldn't I know how good it feels to flip, but I wasn't that like, I was not that good. But like, I wanna know what it really feels like. And again, that's a boring answer, but that's my answer. But it also would be fun to be somebody like Paris Hilton for the day, mainly because I just want to know what the nineties were like.

Speaker 0

她脑海里全是九十年代派对的记忆。等等,是九十年代还是两千年初?反正她参加过无数派对。我甚至想变成帕丽斯·希尔顿一天,就为了看看她见证过的场面。

Like, she has all these memories of what like all the nineties parties were like. Early two thousand was it nineties or early two thousands? I don't even know. Anyway, she went to so many parties. I would almost wanna be Paris Hilton for the day to just know what she's seen.

Speaker 0

或者凯特·摩丝也行。她在那些九十年代派对上究竟看到了什么?懂我意思吗?当时大家都在干嘛?氛围到底有多疯?

Or even like Kate Moss. Like, what did what did Kate Moss see at these nineties parties? You know what I mean? Like, what was everyone doing? Like, what was the vibe?

Speaker 0

我觉得可能有点失控,但我特别好奇。所以如果当一天凯特·摩丝,就能记起九十年代派对的样子。这算是我的备选答案,不过兴趣没那么大。但确实会很有意思,因为感觉没人真正知道当时发生了什么。

I think it was kinda unhinged, but I'm like curious about it. So if I was Kate Moss for the day, I'd be able to remember the nineties parties. So that would be like my other answer. But I'm less interested in that. But it would be really interesting, because I feel like no one really knows, like, what went on.

Speaker 0

哦,现在听起来像在讨论什么犯罪话题了。完全不是那个意思——你们懂的。我不是说 necessarily 什么坏事,纯粹是好奇互联网时代前的派对。在那种可以随便嗑药还不用担心曝光的派对上,到底是什么体验?

Oh, now this is starting to sound like I'm talking about like criminal related stuff. I'm not even talking about that, if you know what I'm you know what I'm talking about. Like, I'm not talking about like bad things anything necessarily. I'm more just talking about parties before the internet. What was it like being at a party where everybody could do as much drugs as they want, and it would never it would probably not get out.

Speaker 0

我是说,它还是有可能泄露,但可能性小些。我不知道。好吧。这些就是我的答案。我要继续了。

I mean, it still could get out, but like less. I don't know. The okay. Those are my answers. I'm moving on.

Speaker 0

下一个。再来个真心话。你会考虑做整形手术吗?不,我觉得不会。

Next. Let's do another truth. Would you ever get plastic surgery? No. I don't think so.

Speaker 0

我觉得不会。不过我不想说永远不,因为谁知道呢。说不定我50岁时会想,管他呢。做个小小的隆胸或拉皮什么的。去他的。

I don't think so. However, I don't wanna say never, because I don't know. I might be 50 and be like, fuck it. I'll get a little boob lift or something, or I'll get a little face lift. Fuck it.

Speaker 0

我不知道。我现在真的不想那样做。此刻,我想相信自己会坚持自然衰老,因为我觉得这已经成为一种失落的品质——现在没人这么做了。而我想成为践行者之一,懂吗?尤其在流行文化圈,没人接受自然衰老,虽然我不责怪公众人物,毕竟他们的外貌承受着最严苛的审视。

I don't know. I really don't want to do that. Like, right now, I I wanna believe that I'm committed to aging naturally because that is something that I think is a lost it's like no one's doing it anymore. And I wanna be one of the people to do it, you know? I think it's especially in the pop culture sphere, no one is aging naturally, which I don't blame public figures because their appearance is scrutinized the most.

Speaker 0

所以公众人物想通过医美尽可能保持年轻美丽是合理的,这能让生活更轻松。我理解。但我更愿意相信通过好好保养,我能优雅地老去。这就是我的目标,我对未来的愿景。

So it makes sense that, you know, public figures want to get work done and look as young and as beautiful as they possibly can because it'll make their life easier. I get it. I'd like to believe though that I can age gracefully through taking good care of myself. And that is my goal. That is my vision for my future.

Speaker 0

然而人生变数太多,我不敢断言永远不会做。就像我不完全信任自己,因为内心深处确实存在想要保持好看的念头。懂吧?如果未来有方法能让我在衰老时感觉更好,我不敢保证能抵抗这种诱惑。

However, so much changes in life, and I don't feel comfortable saying I'll never do it. It's almost like I don't trust myself. Because I know that there's a part of me deep down that does like to look good. You know? And if there's something I could do down the line that would make me feel better as I age, I can't promise that I'm not gonna succumb to that temptation.

Speaker 0

所以让我们拭目以待吧。再来个大冒险:展示你现在口袋里有什么。其实开始录制前我把口袋清空了,不过我可以给你看之前装的东西。好吧。

So we shall see together. Let's do another dare. Show what you have in your pockets right now. I actually took everything out of my pockets when I sat down to record this, but I'll show you what was in my pockets. Okay.

Speaker 0

第一,带着我的手机。Avi手机,经典款,经典的我。顺便说一句,经典的我们。Z世代,如果你也是Z世代,我们总是离不开这该死的手机。阿尔法世代。

Number one, had my phone. Avi phone, classic, classic me. By the way, classic us. Gen z, if you're Gen z as well, we're always on our damn phone. Gen alpha.

Speaker 0

如果你是阿尔法世代,情况更糟。好了,下一个,这东西有点不合适。我口袋里装着ZYN尼古丁含片。因为几个月前,我戒掉了Juul电子烟,转而使用ZYN。

If you're Gen alpha, even worse. Okay. Next, this is something that's kind of inappropriate. I have ZYN nicotine pouches in my pocket. Because a few months ago, I got off the Juul, the vape, and I switched over to the ZYN.

Speaker 0

我体内还有尼古丁吗?是的。但至少我没有吸入什么东西。我是这么看的。所以我又用回了ZYN。

Do I still have nicotine in my system? Yes. But at least I'm not inhaling something. That's the way I look at it. So we're back on the ZYN.

Speaker 0

随便吧。但也别尝试它们,好吗?我不赞成尼古丁消费。最后但同样重要的,一支有色润唇膏。

Whatever. But also do not try them. K? I do not condone nicotine consumption. And then last but not least, a tinted lip balm.

Speaker 0

这是Charlotte Tilbury的Pillow Talk Superstar Lip,我想。很棒,让我的嘴唇看起来可爱。这就是我现在口袋里的东西。超级超级喜欢,真的是一些疯狂的东西。

This is the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Superstar Lip, I think. It's great. Makes my lips look cute. That's what's in my pockets right now. Super super like like, that's seriously some crazy stuff.

Speaker 0

好了,继续。让我们回到一些真相。哦,这个,这个是个难题。

Okay. Moving on. Let's go back to some truths. Oh. This one's this one this is a tough one.

Speaker 0

你对任何前任还有感情吗?我的答案是没有。但如果你和某人约会过一段时间,哪怕是六个月,你永远不会忘记他们。你会永远记得对他们的感觉,永远记得与那个人共度的回忆。

Do you still have any feelings for any of your exes? My answer is no. But if you date someone for any number of time, even if you date someone for six months, you will never forget about them. You will always remember how you felt about them. You will always remember the memories you had with the person.

Speaker 0

即便那些感觉已经消失,你被伤害过,或者感情已经消散,你总会对他们保留某种情绪。所以严格来说,关于他们的感觉其实还在。所有人都是。但我的意思不是我现在还对谁念念不忘。我觉得这是种挺普遍的经历,你懂吧?

Like, even though the feelings may not be there anymore, you got screwed over, or the feelings have just dissipated, you'll still always feel some type of way about them. So I guess technically, there are still feelings there about them. All of them. But I don't have feelings in the sense that, like, I'm yearning for any of them now. I think that's a pretty universal experience, you know?

Speaker 0

我之所以这么确定,是因为我对每个前任都有这种感觉。我偶尔会想起他们所有人。我打赌他们也会想起我,因为这玩意儿就是这么运作的。不过也许他们并不想我。但你看,这对我无所谓,因为我已经翻篇了。

And I'm even more sure of that because I feel that way about every ex that I have. And I think about all of them sometimes. And I bet they think about me because that's how this shit works. Maybe they don't think about me though. But see, that's fine with me because I'm done.

Speaker 0

你明白我在说什么吗?我很好。所以没错。好吧。我们再来个真心话。

Do you know what I'm saying? I'm good. So yeah. Okay. Let's do another truth.

Speaker 0

你最不能接受什么?说实话,我有很多雷区。首当其冲的肯定是刻薄或无礼。如果有人很刻薄或粗鲁,那显然很下头。但你看,这太明显了。

What's your biggest turn off? I have a lot of turn offs, to be honest. I would say number one, I mean, just mean or rude, obviously. Like if somebody's mean or rude, that's obviously a turn off. But see, that's obvious.

Speaker 0

等等。我需要更具体些。我不是想刻薄,但这确实是我的雷点。听着,有些事情可能在恋爱或性方面让我下头,但我还是能和这个人做朋友。

Wait. I need to be more specific. And I'm not trying to be mean, but this is a turn off for me. But listen, something can be a turn off for me, like romantically, sexually. But I can still be friends with this person.

Speaker 0

只是浪漫层面我会失去兴趣。比如幽默感很差,讲的笑话不好笑,或者根本没有幽默感。我喜欢有趣的男孩。另一个雷点是沟通困难,这很有趣,因为我确实和难以沟通的人交往过。但这并不总是我的雷区。

I just might be turned off romantically. I would say if the sense of humor is bad, like the jokes aren't aren't necessarily funny, or maybe there isn't really a sense of humor at all. I like a silly boy. Another turn off for me is when somebody's challenging to talk to, which is interesting because I've still been with guys who who are challenging to talk to. But that hasn't always been a turn off for me.

Speaker 0

但在我现在这个人生阶段,它就是。哦对了,糟糕的衣品。我是个视觉动物,我太热爱时尚了,如果穿搭风格不好,我不喜欢的话,这会是个巨大的雷点。而且我对此毫无愧疚,我不觉得这肤浅什么的。

But at this point in my life, it is. Oh, bad style. I'm such a visual person, and I love fashion so much that if the fashion, the style isn't good, if I don't like it, that can be a huge turn off. And I actually don't feel bad about that. I don't think it's superficial or anything.

Speaker 0

你知道吗,一个人穿衣打扮的品味和审美对我来说是吸引力的重要组成部分。这对我意义重大,会让我觉得他们更有魅力。对我来说,一个人如何展现自己几乎占据了50%的吸引力。我甚至觉得,他们的外在特征反而不如他们如何打扮自己来得重要。比如他们选择的衣服、发型之类的,你懂吧。

Like, that is such a huge part of what makes me attracted to somebody is their taste in clothing and aesthetics. Like, I like that means a lot to me, and that makes them more attractive to me. That's like 50% of attractiveness to me is how somebody chooses to present themselves. I don't even like like, their physical attributes are almost less important than how they choose to style themselves. How they you know, like, what clothes they choose, what kind of haircut they have, you know, whatever.

Speaker 0

对我来说,这些因素几乎更重要。说实话,糟糕的品味可能是我最大的反感点。尤其是现在比以往任何时候都更在意。过去这些对我来说还没那么重要。

Like, all of that stuff is almost more important to me. That might even be my biggest turn off, honestly. Bad style. As more so now than ever too. Like, in the past, that wasn't as important to me.

Speaker 0

但在我现在这个人生阶段,这非常重要。好了,下一个真心话:你最容易被什么吸引?当然是刚才那些的反面啦。幽默感。

But at this point in my life today, it's very important to me. Okay. The next truth is, what's your biggest turn on? Well, the opposite of all those things. Funny.

Speaker 0

良好的幽默感,这还用说。好品味,时尚感,容易交谈。

Good sense of humor. Duh. Good style. Fashionable. Easy to talk to.

Speaker 0

但还要会主动撩我。懂吗?我不想总是主动。主动撩我的人会让我心动,因为这样我就可以放松享受,偶尔回应一下就好。

But also flirts with me. Okay? I don't wanna have to do the flirting. Flirt with me. That is a turn on for me, because I just get to sit back and enjoy it, and then maybe like flirt a little bit back here and there.

Speaker 0

大多数时候,我就是享受被撩的感觉。虽然我也会稍微回应,但我更喜欢对方先主动。比如主动要电话号码,夸我今晚很可爱之类的。我不想总是先做这些事。

But for the most part, it's like, I just get to enjoy being flirted with. And then I can like reciprocate a little bit, but I like somebody who's gonna flirt with me first. And also kind of initiate everything, like ask for my number, you know. Tell me I look cute tonight. I don't wanna do that stuff first.

Speaker 0

太累了。我宁愿让别人来主动。好了,我们再来个大冒险:打电话给你父母说你订婚了。

It's exhausting. I I I'd rather have somebody else do it. Okay. Let's do another dare. This dare is call your parents and say you got engaged.

Speaker 0

看看他们起床没。好吧,我爸没接。再看看我妈醒没。他们肯定不会相信我的。

Let's see if they're up. Okay. My dad didn't answer. Let's see if my mom's up. They're not gonna believe me.

Speaker 0

行吧。趁等我父母回消息确认他们是否醒着的空档,我们来回答另一个真心话问题:你和伴侣间最大年龄差是多少?五岁。真没劲。

K. While we wait for one of my parents to respond and tell me if they're awake, we'll answer another truth. What's the largest age gap you've had with a partner? Five years. Boring.

Speaker 0

好,下一题。讲个疯狂的一夜情故事。其实我没多少这种经历。唯一算得上疯狂的是有次我和朋友最终和两个男生睡在了同一张床上。

Okay. Next. Tell a crazy one night stand story. I really don't have that many. One kind of crazy one was when my friend and I ultimately hooked up with two boys in the same bed.

Speaker 0

我们四个人躺在同一张床上。那场面挺有意思的,但彼此完全没有互动。不,绝对没有。

It was the four of us in the same bed. That was interesting, but we didn't interact at all. No. No. No.

Speaker 0

真的没有。不过同床共枕确实很诡异。我...我并不喜欢那样。

No. No. But we were there in the same bed. It was very odd. I I didn't love it.

Speaker 0

这让我又想起自己最大的不安全感——我不是那种欲望特别强的人,当时只觉得尴尬又慌乱。哦,我妈来电话了。好了,现在可以继续了。喂?

And I felt, going back to my biggest insecurity of me not being like the most sexual person, feeling kinda cringed out and psyched out or whatever. Oh, my mom's calling. Okay. Now we can do this. Hi.

Speaker 0

是我。你绝对想不到刚才发生了什么。什么?我被求婚了。

I am. Well, you're not gonna believe what just happened. What? I got proposed to.

Speaker 1

什么?

What?

Speaker 0

我在逗你们玩呢。这他妈太糟糕了。我正在录制一期播客,假装和听众玩角色扮演的过夜派对,非常元的概念。我们还和听众玩真心话大冒险。

I'm kidding you guys. This fucking sucks. I'm doing a podcast episode where I'm doing a sleep a a fake role play sleepover with the audience. Very meta concept. And one of the and we're playing truth or dare with the audience.

Speaker 0

其中一个冒险任务是打电话给我父母,说我订婚了。

And one of the dares is to call my parents and say I got engaged.

Speaker 1

好吧,知道为什么吗?我立刻就觉得这不可能是真的。

Well, know why okay. You know why? Immediately, I went, that can't be true.

Speaker 0

好吧,随便吧。听着,我要先录完这个,一会儿再打给你。

Okay. Whatever. Listen. I'm I'm gonna finish recording this, and I'll call back in a minute.

Speaker 1

听着,我不是说他不想。

Listen. I'm not saying he doesn't want to.

Speaker 0

不,不,没关系。不,我得先录完这个,然后再打给你。

No. No. It's okay. No. I'm I need to finish recording this, and I'm gonna call you back.

Speaker 0

好的,好的。待会儿再聊。好的。最后但同样重要的是,我们还要说一个真相。

Okay. Okay. Talk to in a bit. Okay. Last but not least, we're doing one more truth.

Speaker 0

哦,等等。不。那差不多就是结尾了。等等。就这样了。

Oh, wait. No. That was kind of the end of it. Wait. That was it.

Speaker 0

好的。等等。就这样吧。该睡觉了。我们得去睡觉了。

Okay. Wait. That's it. It's time to go to bed. We need to go to bed.

Speaker 0

我累坏了。你也累坏了。好吗?我们去睡觉吧。希望你喜欢和我一起度过的这个睡前时光。

I'm exhausted. You're exhausted. Okay? Let's go to bed. I hope that you enjoyed this sleepover with me.

Speaker 0

Speaker 0

我爱你们大家。我要去睡觉了,过几天再聊。晚安。爱你们。再见。
