Today, I've got a little something I don't know.

It's a little bit different.

It's something to sort of shake things up, change things up, mix things up.

So, I made a vlog episode about a week ago, and I put it up on YouTube and it's gone bananas.

It's gone bonkers.

就是说，这条视频获得了超多关注。

It's gone crazy, meaning that it has received a lot of attention.

所以，那些在YouTube上看的朋友们，显然你们特别喜欢这个内容。

So, you guys have obviously really enjoyed this for those of you who are on the YouTube channel.

所以我琢磨着，干脆也把这段音频做成播客放出来好了。

And so, I thought that it would be a good idea to take the audio from podcast as well.

This is vlog, daily life, Aussie slang, and ordering coffee.

Now, I've designed these videos a little differently from the other videos I have on the channel.

那这些视频是怎么拍的呢？

So, how are they done?

其实就是个Vlog。

They're a vlog.

就是那种日常生活的Vlog，我到处走走拍拍。

So, a video blog, sort of a daily life vlog where I just walk around.

我一般都会做点啥事，边做边录。

I tend to have some kind of activity that I'm doing.

这次呢，我就决定去我住的堪培拉附近那个商场逛逛。

So in this case, I just decided to go into the mall near where I'm living in Canberra.

本来是想去吃午饭、买杯咖啡，突然想到：嘿，不如顺便拍点东西，跟你们聊聊天，带你们看看堪培拉，顺便教你们怎么用英语点咖啡。

I was gonna go get some lunch as well as order some coffee, and I thought, oh, it'd be a great idea to chat to you, to video it, to show you Canberra, to show you how I order coffee in English.

这期内容挺干货的，兄弟们。

So there's some good stuff in this episode, guys.

你们能看见我怎么跟本地英语母语者点咖啡，真实互动。

You'll get to see how I interact with other native speakers of English in order to order coffee.

我用很多俚语。

I use a lot of slang.

今天这段vlog，讲的是日常澳洲生活、俚语，还有点咖啡。

Here is vlog daily life, Aussie slang, and ordering coffee.

大家好啊，各位。

Good day, you mob.

最近咋样？

What is going on?

我刚醒。

So I've just gotten up.

严格来说，我早就醒了，一直在忙活好几个小时，但还没真正起床。

Well, more or less, I've been up working for a couple of hours, but not really up.

所以我现在还窝在床上。

So I'm still in bed.

这个周末可太疯狂了。

This has been a massive weekend.

有个朋友从墨尔本过来，陪了我们一整天，还住我们这儿，我们到处瞎逛。

Had a friend come down or come up, come up from Melbourne, and he hung out with us, stayed here with us, and we went all over the shop.

去了好些地方，巴西那边。

Went to around Brazil.

就是巴西那一带。

Around Brazil.

天哪。

Oh my gosh.

我累死了。

I am tired.

我一直在练巴西葡萄牙语，所以才搞成这样。

I've been practicing my Brazilian, that's why I'm screwing up.

我们把堪培拉转了个遍，还去了坎培拉电信塔，结果被满天乱飞的子弹给围住了。

We we went all around Canberra and we went up to the tower, the tower, Canberra Telstra Tower and got swarmed by bullets that were flying around.

我手机还掉地上了，摄像头直接摔碎了，这可是头一回，气死我了。

And I actually dropped my phone and smashed the camera which is the first time I've ever done that and I was fuming.

我真是气炸了。

I was fuming.

这事儿简直把我惹毛了。

That really pissed me off.

这种大蚂蚁，像这么大个的，兵蚁可凶了。

This ant, big ant like this, bull ants are really nasty.

你去搜搜看，就知道那玩意儿多吓人了。

Look those up you know what they are.

它们会蜇人，疼得要命。

They sting, they really hurt.

那只蚂蚁直接飞进我鼻子底下，眼镜下面，差点撞到眼睛。

And it flew right into my nose here, underneath my glasses, like up close to my eye.

我当时正拍着它们，结果手一抖，相机掉地上了。

And I was trying to film them at the time and dropped the camera.

不过嘛，后来我把手机修好了。

Anyway, yeah, so I got that fixed.

花了我差不多五十块。

That cost me like $50.

谢谢你们啊，这群蚂蚁。

So thanks for that ants.

我想给你们看看我今天过得咋样。

And I just thought I would show you sort of a little bit about my day today.

我现在就坐在这儿窗边。

So I'm currently sitting at the window here.

刚起床。

Just got up.

正在练葡萄牙语。

Was practicing Portuguese.

所以脑子里全是巴西的事儿。

That's why I've got Brazil in my mind.

往窗外看，这是后院，旁边就是那栋超大的豪宅。

Looking out the window here, this is the backyard and the massive mansion next door.

我觉得该出去走走了。

But I think it's time to go for a walk.

整个周末我们都在吃垃圾食品。

We've been eating garbage all weekend.

我们那天吃了啥来着？

So we were eating, what do we have?

我们出去吃了，就在堪培拉湖边的Snapper餐厅，吃了鱼和薯条。

We went out, we had fish and chips at the Snapper restaurant down at the lake in Canberra.

那天晚上吃完鱼薯条，我们又去了位于堪培拉朗斯代尔街的‘Grease Monkeys’，那里的汉堡和啤酒简直绝了。

Then we went that same night after the fish and chips, went to Grease Monkeys, which is on Lonsdale Street in Canberra, which has amazing burgers and beers.

吃完那顿，简直撑到明天都不想再吃东西了。

So we did that, smashed that out and felt like I didn't wanna eat for another day.

昨天我们开了两个小时的车，从堪培拉一路开到沿海的巴特曼斯湾。

And then yesterday we drove two hours, went from Canberra here all the way over to Batemans Bay, which is down the coast.

要翻过大分水岭，再往下走，风景特别好，湿润多树，特别舒服。

And it's up over the Great Dividing Range and then down, it's really nice, wet, lots of trees.

下了一点小雨，我们去了海滩，拍了点照片，晚上还吃了披萨。

It rained a little bit, went to the beach there, practiced some photography, but then we also had pizza that night.

这阵子我真是吃了一堆垃圾食品，全是些不健康的东西。

So I have been eating a lot of filth, a lot of bad junk food, a lot of garbage.

我觉得现在该去附近商店或商场买份沙拉了，我朋友刚走，是时候好好照顾自己了。

And I think it's time to go for a walk down to the store, down to the mall nearby and get a salad because it's definitely time to start taking care of myself a little better now that my mate's gone home.

他今天早上走的。

So he bailed this morning.

他现在正开车回墨尔本呢。

He's driving back to Melbourne as we speak.

对他来说，这趟七到八小时的车程可够折腾的，但他还在路上呢。

That's a cheeky little seven or eight hour drive for him so he's still going.

凯尔现在在工作，刚醒，做了点文字整理，然后听了半小时葡萄牙语播客《Cafe Brasil》，练了练口语。

Kel's currently at work, on board, woke up, did some transcribing and then practiced my Portuguese for about half an hour listening to a podcast called Cafe Brasil.

对了，我想顺便给你们录个日常vlog，帮你们练练英语，现在就去附近商店逛逛，看看能发现啥。

Yeah, And thought I would just make a little daily vlog here for you guys to practice your English with and head on down to the shops and let's see what we'll see.

哎呀，我差点忘了跟你们说，真的忘了。

I forgot to mention guys, I forgot to mention.

我买了这个小玩意儿。

I got this little doovalackey.

就是这个小东西。

This little thing.

这个便携式WiFi连着我的手机和这边的电脑。

This is portable WiFi that is connected to my phone and also my computer here.

我之前试过这房子的WiFi，简直烂透了。

So I've been trying to use the WiFi here in this house and it is shit.

这房子的网真的差到爆。

It is absolutely shit house.

一会儿有，一会儿没，反复断线。

So it keeps dropping in and out, in and out.

我想上传个视频到YouTube，或者传个播客，

I'm trying to upload a video to YouTube or upload a podcast.

搞了半小时，最后还是失败了。

It takes half an hour and then it fails.

所以我就出去买了这个，它其实就跟我的手机热点一样，但便宜多了。

I'm like, so anyway, went out and got this and this thing effectively acts like my phone's WiFi, although it's a lot cheaper.

一个月就五十刀左右，还给九十G流量。

It's like $50 a month or something and I get 90 gig.

所以啊，挺期待用这个的。

So, yeah, looking forward to using that.

特别简单。

Really easy.

插上SIM卡，打开后盖一塞，啪一下，网络就通了。

Got a SIM card, put the SIM card in the thing, you know, slipped it in the back there once I opened it up and bam, Internet.

完美。

Perfect.

超快的。

Really quick.

我得小心别超量，不然每多用一G就要多付10块，两个设备都算，可就亏大了。

I just have to be careful that I don't go over the limit because then I'll get slogged with a $10 fee, two of these, for every gig after the the ones that you have on your plan.

反正咱们走着瞧吧。

So anyway, we'll see how that goes.

千万别超了。

So there you go.

出门走走真挺奇怪的，这儿到处都是豪宅，一栋接一栋的豪宅。

Walking out of the house, it's really weird living around here as there are a lot of mansions, mansions, mansions, mansions all around.

还有件挺有意思的事，前几天晚上我注意到了，咱们就住这儿。

And another funny thing I noticed the other night, so we live here.

我家前面有个大草坪，像个小山坡似的。

There's a big grass kind of bank or field in front of our house.

那天晚上你瞅瞅周围，

And the the other night so look around us.

对吧？

Right?

这地方全是郊区住宅。

This is all suburbia.

那天晚上我们开车回来，居然看见三只大袋鼠，都是公的，个头老高了，就在咱家前院吃草呢。

The other night, we were driving up and there were some like, three big kangaroos, big males, like, about this tall, just eating on the front yard.

我都不知道它们是从哪儿冒出来的。

I don't know where they've come from.

后头那儿有一片森林，它们肯定是从那儿来的。

Like, they must there's this forest up the back.

估计是打老远跑过来，挨家挨户把前院的草坪当自助餐啃一遍。

So, they must have come from from way up here and just make the rounds around the suburb trimming all the front lawns.

太逗了。

So too funny.

真是笑死人了。

Too funny.

压根没想到会看到这景象。

Wasn't expecting to see that.

你还会发现这地方到处都是大使馆。

You'll also be able to see there's a ton of embassies around this place.

我不确定这些是哪些国家的旗子，但大使馆多得数不清，而且基本都围着围墙。

So I'm not sure which flags these are, but there are heaps and heaps and heaps of embassies and they're all at least most of them tend to be gated.

所以他们门口都会有大门，一看就知道是大使馆。

So they'll have these gates in front and that's how you'll know their embassies.

而且这儿周围全是超大的豪宅。

And then there's just other massive massive mansions all around here.

其实我不确定他们今天在不在，但平时联邦警察，就是澳大利亚联邦警察，AFP，总停在这拐角那儿。

And actually, I don't know if they're here today, but usually the federal police, the Australian Federal Police, the AFP, tend to be parked on the corner here.

他们在这片儿有四个固定停车点。

They've got like four locations around this area where they park their car.

你瞧这地上的泥，草都被压坏了，因为他们天天停这儿盯着这片儿的一举一动。

And you can see all the dirt here, how the grass has just been ruined because they park here every single day to keep an eye on everything that's happening in this area.

还有个挺明显的事儿，我这麦克风现在风声不大，不过待会儿听听看——那边还有个大使馆。

Another thing that you're gonna notice, actually, I'm not getting too much wind into this microphone, but I guess we'll see, is that there's another embassy over here.

好像是加纳的。

Ghana, I think.

我不太确定。

I'm not sure.

但你还会注意到，所有这些使馆的车都挂着蓝色车牌。

But another thing you'll notice is that all of these cars that are with the embassy have blue number plates.

对吧？

Right?

所以使馆用的车，全都是这种蓝色车牌。

So you'll see these these blue number plates on all the cars that are used by the embassies.

我不清楚他们是不是有特殊的登记规定，但你到处都能看到这种亮蓝色车牌、上面还印着‘DC’的车。

So I don't know if they have different rules or different registration, but you'll see these cars everywhere with these bright blue number plates with DC written on them.

小别墅。

Small mansions.

这儿又有一栋。

Here's another one here.

你看看这规模。

Look at the size of this thing.

真大。

Huge.

这也太离谱了吧。

It's pretty ridiculous.

哦。

Oh.

你们见过澳大利亚的垃圾桶吗？

You guys seen the Australian bins?

垃圾箱。

Rubbish?

回收箱。

Recycling.

垃圾和回收。

Rubbish, recycling.

黄色的是回收箱。

Yellow is recycling.

这儿绿色的是垃圾箱，可我老家通常是红色的。

Green here is rubbish, and where I'm from, it's normally red.

红色。

Red.

你在这儿，奥马利这个郊区会注意到的一点是，堪培拉整体也这样，但这个郊区真的特别棒。

Good thing you'll notice about this this place, this suburb, O'Malley is the suburb that we're in here, but a good a good thing you'll notice about Canberra too, but this suburb is really good.

这儿到处都是小公园，他们特别大方，种了大量树木，没把地全铲平盖满房子。

They have a lot of these small parks everywhere where they've kind of gone they've gotten really generous generous with how many trees they have around, and they haven't just cleared everything and put down houses everywhere.

所以挺舒服的。

So it's kinda nice.

我刚找到那种我跟你说过的该死的蚂蚁。

I've just found one of those bastard ants that I was telling you about.

这些家伙可危险了，真能让你吃不了兜着走。

These guys, they are dangerous as and will f you up.

Whereas these guys, where has he gone?

又可爱又友善。

Lots and lots of mustangs in Australia.

Who doesn't love grilled some wood burgers?

可惜英语太烂了。

And unfortunately, horrible English.

It's freezing outside.

This is where I got the the phone fixed the other day.

Now, I just have to hope that I can navigate this mall and find where Coles and Safeway were, but I've forgotten.

And then, we've got cheddar cheese or Parmesan.

Parmesan cheese and a whole lot of lettuce.

这就是皮特狂欢完周末后的健康餐了。

That's Pete's healthy meal after a weekend of debauchery.

希望这还没算你这辈子最惨的经历。

Hopefully, that wasn't the worst thing you've ever experienced.

我注意到，这胡子越长，就越难发现里面卡了东西。

The funny thing I noticed with this beard is the longer it gets, the harder it is for me to tell when there's stuff in here.

刚才吃着吃着，我就看见有小碎屑掉出来。

So just watching now while I was eating, I could see little bits.

我都在想，我这样多久了？有多少人盯着我看啊？

I'm like, how long have I been doing that for and how many people have been staring at me?

我真该去伍尔沃斯买沙拉的，这家的培根也太少了。

I think I totally should have gone to Woolworths for my salad because that one I feel like they totally skimped on the bacon.

不过伍尔沃斯那边平时都挺给劲的。

And Woolworths here normally does pretty good job.
