Speaker 0

嗨。

Hey there.

Speaker 0

欢迎来到《桌游热评》。

Welcome to Board Game Hot Takes.

Speaker 0

我叫蒂姆。

My name is Tim.

Speaker 1

这位是克里斯。

And this is Chris.

Speaker 2

这位是亚当。

And this is Adam.

Speaker 0

今天呢,我们就聊聊各自最近玩过的几款游戏。

And today, we're gonna be just talking about a whole bunch of games that we've each individually gotten played.

Speaker 0

你们知道,我们通常在评测节目之后都会讨论这些游戏。

You know, we we cover these games regularly after our review episodes.

Speaker 0

我们管这叫‘上桌环节’,但最近我们做了好多特别节目。

We call it the on the table segment, but we've had so many special episodes recently.

Speaker 0

这些游戏我们还没来得及聊,所以积了不少特别棒或者至少挺有意思的,想跟大家分享。

We haven't really gotten to these, so there's kind of a pile up of great games or at least interesting games that we wanted to to share with you all.

Speaker 0

今晚每个人都会介绍三款我们玩过的游戏。

So we're each gonna be covering three games tonight that we've played.

Speaker 0

Lael,咱们这就开始吧。

And, Lael, let's get into it.

Speaker 0

我之前提的那个投票问题,其实就跟这个有关。

The poll question I asked was kind of on this topic.

Speaker 0

我问的是:如果你参加固定的桌游聚会,一般一场能玩几款游戏?

I said, if you attend a regularly scheduled game day, night, or session, how many games do you typically get played in that session?

Speaker 0

我问这个是因为,我自己最近实在有点跟不上玩过的游戏了。

The reason I asked this is because I've been having such a hard time keeping up with all the games I get played.

Speaker 0

我只是好奇,别人一场聚会能玩这么多吗?

And I was just kind of curious if other people get as many games played in a session as we do.

Speaker 0

我给的选项里,第一个选项收到了我们Patreon听众24%的投票。

So the options I gave, one, got 24% response from our listeners on our Patreon.

Speaker 0

两个选项获得了50%的投票。

Two, got 50%.

Speaker 0

三个选项占了19%。

Three, got 19%.

Speaker 0

四个选项则有6%。

And four, got 6%.

Speaker 0

我选了三,因为那正好是我的平均数。

And I had answered three because that's my average.

Speaker 0

但上周我那一晚居然玩了七款游戏。

But as it turned out last week, I got seven games played on my one game night.

Speaker 0

所以我很好奇,其他人在固定聚会时是怎么安排的。

So I was just kind of curious, how other people managed, when they had a regular session.

Speaker 1

我有两个固定的聚会小组。

So I have regular sessions with two groups.

Speaker 1

一个是你们这群人,另一个是我本地的游戏圈子。

One is you guys and the other one is my local game group.

Speaker 1

和你们玩的时候,我就是看24小时内能打多少场游戏。

And when I'm playing with you guys, the number is how many day how many games can twenty four hours, accommodate?

Speaker 1

就是看这段时间里能塞进多少场为止。

It's like however many we can possibly fit into that time.

Speaker 1

但这种情况比较少见。

But that's unusual.

Speaker 1

和本地游戏小组玩的时候,我一般算1.5场,因为有时候打一场,有时候打两场。

The when I'm playing with my local game group, I'm gonna say 1.5 because there are some days we get one and there are some days we get two.

Speaker 1

我们平时玩的都是比较轻松的游戏。

We generally tend to play lighter games.

Speaker 1

如果有一款游戏时间偏长,大概两小时左右,那通常就只打一场。

So if there's a game that tends to go a little bit longer, like, into the two hour range, we're probably playing one game.

Speaker 1

有时候玩短点的游戏,就能打两场。

And there's sometimes we play shorter games and we manage to get two in.

Speaker 1

我们一般周四晚上八点左右开始。

But we start usually on Thursday nights around 08:00.

Speaker 1

所以我们这个团体不算特别早结束。

So it's not not a super early group.

Speaker 1

我们也不想玩得太晚,大家都有孩子,各种情况。

We don't have a lot of know, we're not we don't wanna stay up too late.

Speaker 1

每个人都有孩子之类的事情要顾及。

Everybody has kids and whatnot.

Speaker 1

这就是我们这边的情况。

So so that is our that is our situation.

Speaker 1

我这边本地团体平均大概一场半,但对我们来说上限就看情况了。

I'll say 1.5 for my local group, and the sky's the limit for us.

Speaker 0

这挺有意思的。

That's interesting.

Speaker 0

我们最近玩得比较晚,以前是七点开始,但经常玩到凌晨一点左右。

So, we've been doing better late because we used to start at seven, but we would play until we play till, like, 01:00 most of the time.

Speaker 0

所以通常能玩上六个小时左右。

So we get a nice, you know, six hours in.

Speaker 0

不过最近,之前拖后腿的那个人不拖了,我们改成了凌晨五点半开始。

But lately, one of us who had been holding us back, we've been starting at 05:30.

Speaker 0

所以现在我们的游戏时间更长了。

And so now we have even more time in.

Speaker 0

以前八个人玩,结果只有两小时能真正打起来,挺让人无奈的。

Going from eight and only having two hours of game playing, kinda sad,

Speaker 1

克里斯。

Chris.

Speaker 2

Tim,你是怎么打出七场比赛的?

How'd you get seven games in, Tim?

Speaker 0

快跟我说说

Tell me

Speaker 2

具体情况。

about that.

Speaker 2

这简直太不可思议了。

That seems miraculous.

Speaker 0

那天晚上特别有意思,Dano 和我朋友 Dano 五点半就到了,而 Mark 晚一点,本来计划七点十五分才来。

Well, this this particularly this particular night so Dano and my friend Dano got here at 05:30, and Mark was actually running a little bit later, wasn't gonna be here till 07:15.

Speaker 0

我们原本打算把《Luthier》当作主打游戏。

And we had Luthier planned as kind of our feature game.

Speaker 0

Dano 和我打了三场双人游戏,都是比较轻松的小游戏,很快就打完了。

And Dano and I played three two player games, mostly lighter games quickly.

Speaker 0

我们打了《Luthier》,打完四个小时,大家居然还完全不累,兴致正高。

We played Luthier, and then we were all still ready to go even after a four hour game.

Speaker 0

于是又接着打了两场,都是轻度到中等轻度的游戏。

And so we ended up playing two more, you know, light to to medium light games.

Speaker 0

这么说来,应该是六场了。

So big well, I guess that was six.

Speaker 0

哦,对。

Okay.

Speaker 0

我数错了。

I miscounted.

Speaker 0

一共六局游戏。

Was six games.

Speaker 2

这已经很不错了。

That's still a nice pull.

Speaker 2

至于我那个不属于你们这个圈子的聚会,那边有点新情况。

So my only non you guys group well, there's a little bit of news on that front.

Speaker 2

就是富勒顿的那个聚会,我差不多定期去的那一个。

It's the Fullerton meetup, my semi regular Fullerton meetup.

Speaker 2

我大概每两个月去一次左右。

It's I probably average going to that once every two months or something like that.

Speaker 2

每次去,我们一般能玩两到三局。

And when I go there, it's I'd say we get between two and three games in.

Speaker 2

我通常会赶在他们开门时到,不过具体还得看是星期几。

Usually, try to get there right when they open up and it depends on what day.

Speaker 2

一般九点到十点之间他们才正式开始。

Usually around nine or ten is when they get going.

Speaker 2

我一般都会在两点前离开那儿。

And I try to head out of there by 2PM, something like that.

Speaker 2

这样正好能安排一场像你提到的那样的主游戏,再玩个小点的、快节奏的牌局或者别的轻松游戏。

So that usually accommodates time for one sort of feature game like you mentioned, Tim, and then maybe something smaller, a little trick taker or card game or something quick.

Speaker 2

然后我就走了。

And then I'm out of there.

Speaker 2

我觉得该去陪陪家人了。

I feel like I should go be with my family.

Speaker 2

所以我通常两点就走,不过他们店一般也三点或四点才关门。

So usually I punch out around two or I think they end up closing the shop around three or four in the afternoon anyway.

Speaker 2

对我来说,大概就是两到三局。

So two to three games

Speaker 1

等一下。

Wait.

Speaker 2

对我而言。

For me.

Speaker 1

这意味着亚当每次玩的游戏比我还多吗?

Does this mean that Adam is averaging more games per session than I am?

Speaker 1

我该怎么看待这件事?

How am supposed to feel about that?

Speaker 2

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 2

我们得小心点,

We better

Speaker 0

克里斯,提防他搞砸了。

watch out for terrible, Chris.

Speaker 0

他每两个月才玩一次,但我觉得你每个月都出去两次,克里斯。

The fact that he only plays once every two months, and I think you're getting out twice a month though, Chris.

Speaker 0

我觉得你还是比他领先一点。

I feel like you still got a little bit of a lead on him.

Speaker 2

另外有个消息,我女儿阿达在学校有个特别要好的朋友,她们总喜欢约着一起玩。

Well, news on the other front, Ada has a great little friend from school, my daughter Ada, and they love to have playdates and stuff.

Speaker 2

他们突然决定要安排一次玩乐聚会,于是她的小朋友就来家里了,小朋友的爸爸还特别开心地一起玩《沙丘:阿拉基斯之战》。

They just decided they were gonna have a playdate, So her little friend came over and her friend's dad is happy to play Dune, War for Arrakis.

Speaker 2

什么?

What?

Speaker 2

我们已经玩过好几轮了。

We've had a couple sessions of that going on.

Speaker 2

他还说,真期待试试所有这些游戏。

And he says, oh, I can't wait to try all of these games.

Speaker 2

我不明白为什么。

I don't know why.

Speaker 2

好吧。

Okay.

Speaker 2

他人挺好的。

He's great.

Speaker 2

特别搞笑。

He's hilarious.

Speaker 2

这可能是段奇妙缘分的开始。

Could be the start of something magical.

Speaker 1

天哪。

Oh, man.

Speaker 1

我希望他不是听众,不然他能听出你提到这事时声音里的那份渴望。

I hope he's not a listener because he he'll the lust in your voice when you talk about this.

Speaker 0

别对他太热情了。

Now don't be too eager at him.

Speaker 0

我得装得淡定点。

I gotta play cool.

Speaker 0

我得装得淡定点。

I gotta play cool.

Speaker 0

记住,至少得等三天再回他电话。

Just make remember, wait at least three days before you call him back.

Speaker 0

来看看我们一些听众对这个话题是怎么说的。

Well, here's how some of our listeners answered on this topic.

Speaker 0

马可说,就一次吧,咱们都是年纪大了、没劲儿的西西里老头。

Marco said, Just one because we're old and tired Sicilian guys.

Speaker 0

我得说,马可,我懂你,这事儿对我也是新鲜的,但最近打到第二局中间,我就开始犯困了。

Now, I gotta say, I feel you, Marco, because this is new to me, but lately, I've been getting pretty sleepy by the middle of our second game.

Speaker 0

才九点,我就开始想,天哪,真扛不住了。

It's, like, 09:00, and I'm starting to be just like, oh my god.

Speaker 0

我真的没力气了。

I can't even anymore.

Speaker 0

幸运的是,我通常后面还能回过劲儿来,但以前从没这样过。

I usually get a second wind, luckily, but this never used to happen to me.

Speaker 0

我以前精力可充沛了。

I I used to have so much energy.

Speaker 0

我也说不清楚。

I don't know.

Speaker 0

我想我是快五十了,确实有点老了。

I guess I'm just I guess coming up on fifty, I'm I'm getting a little old.

Speaker 2

和蒂姆玩老版布朗埃罗斯就是这样,难免这样。

That's what happens when you play old Brown Eros with Tim.

Speaker 2

到了困倦时段,那种疲倦感就会突然袭来,根本挡不住。

The one hour in sleepy time starts coming and crushing.

Speaker 2

这事你真没办法。

There's nothing you can do about it.

Speaker 1

我得说,我挺理解马可的想法的。

I will say, I'm I'm kinda with Marco on this one.

Speaker 1

比如之前我聊过,周四晚上八点开始打一两局,听起来好像不太好,其实真不是这样。

Like, I was talking about the one game or the maybe two games starting 08:00 on a Thursday, like it's a bad thing, and it's it's really not.

Speaker 1

工作日晚上能轻松打几局,反而挺舒服的。

It's actually nice to get, you know, a couple a little bit of light gaming in on a weeknight.

Speaker 1

我挺认同这种安排的。

I I respect that.

Speaker 1

我觉得这样挺有意思的。

I think it's fun.

Speaker 0

相反,李安说,她选的三人组玩桌游时,通常会先挑一个时间短的上手,再选个新游戏,最后再来个大家都熟悉的。

Now on the opposite end of the spectrum, Lee Ann said, I picked three as the people who come to mind for game night tend to like, one, something short to get going, two, something new, and then three, something they already know.

Speaker 0

玩完之后他们就留宿,第二天接着玩,等他们回家前再玩一遍。

Then they stay over and we play them the next day again before they go home.

Speaker 0

什么?

What?

Speaker 0

莱昂这是搞桌游过夜会啊。

Leon is getting board game sleepovers.

Speaker 0

天哪,我也想要这样的安排,我太需要了。

Man, I want that, I need that to happen.

Speaker 0

杰·巴尔卡说,我们小组每周都排了固定活动,但现在反而取消的次数比实际举办的还多。

Jay Barka said, Our group has a weekly session scheduled, but at this point it gets canceled more often than it happens.

Speaker 0

只要真玩起来,几乎每次都只玩一款游戏。

When we do play it, it's almost always one game.

Speaker 0

有时候要是玩了个短点的,结尾可能会再加一局快的,但这种情况很少见。

Sometimes if we play something a little shorter, we'll snag the gang or another quick game at the end, but that's uncommon.

Speaker 0

我们组里好几个人特别喜欢深度策略,所以一局游戏往往要玩好几个小时。

Several members of the group are very AP prone, so games tend to take several hours.

Speaker 0

我们常开玩笑说,我们组的游玩时间比建议时长多出三到五成,有时候甚至更久。

Our running joke is to say that our group's playtime is 30 to 50% more than the suggested playtime, especially when it takes us even longer than that.

Speaker 0

不过我们确实玩得很开心,所以我尽量压下心里的失望——一个月只能玩一两局,也没办法。

But we really do have a lot of fun together, so I try to rein in my disappointment in only getting one or two games played a month with them.

Speaker 0

重要的是人,不是那些纸板,我老这么安慰自己。

It's about the people, not the cardboard, or so I keep telling myself.

Speaker 0

是啊,确实挺难的,对吧?

Yeah, it's so hard, right?

Speaker 0

我觉得你得换个心态来看待这事。

I think you have to kind of shift mindset.

Speaker 0

如果你有一群合得来的玩家,那就得适应他们的节奏,别总指望每场都能按计划来。

If you have a group that you like to play with, you gotta just adjust to how they play and get over the expectation sometimes.

Speaker 0

我确实跟一些团体玩过,游戏夜没达到我预期的效果,但后来我就学会接受了。

I've definitely played with some groups that I didn't but the game night didn't go the way I was expecting to, and I learned to accept that.

Speaker 0

你能有这种心态真不错,杰伊·巴克尔。

It's good that you got that mindset, Jay Barker.

Speaker 2

蒂姆,我觉得你还没真正接受这一点。

Tim, I don't think you accepted it.

Speaker 2

你开始筛选自己的游戏圈子了。

You started curating your game groups.

Speaker 1

我记得。

I remember

Speaker 2

把人剔除出去,这边砍一刀,那边改一改,不断调整。

chopping people out, hacking this, hacking up, moving things around.

Speaker 2

好吧。

Okay.

Speaker 2

说得有道理。

Fair enough.

Speaker 2

确实如此。

Fair enough.

Speaker 1

说到蒂姆的观点,其实是在说我。

To Tim's point, I mean, at me.

Speaker 1

我开始接受雷纳·基内西娅的游戏了。

I'm starting to accept Reiner Kinesia games.

Speaker 0

没错。

That's right.

Speaker 0

好的。

Alright.

Speaker 0

接下来我们来聊聊我们各自玩过的几款游戏。

Well, we're gonna jump into, just talking about a few games that each of us have played.

Speaker 0

今晚我们会介绍总共九款游戏。

So we're going to cover nine total games tonight.

Speaker 0

在开始之前,先说一件事。

One quick shout out before we jump into that.

Speaker 0

我想特别感谢几位我们的 Patreon 支持者。

I wanted to call out a couple of our Patreon supporters.

Speaker 0

每个月,我们都会从‘节目好友’级别的支持者中抽出一位,赠送一款桌游。

Every month, we give away a board game to one of our Friend of the Show level supporters.

Speaker 0

如果你喜欢这个节目,想支持我们,同时还能拿点好东西,欢迎去 patreon.com/boardgamehottakes 留言。

So if you like the show, wanna support the show, also maybe get something out of it, please drop a line at patreon.com/boardgamehottakes.

Speaker 0

这周,迈尔斯选了《我是太阳的孩子》作为赠品,伊恩选了《新地球》。

This week, Miles chose I Are Children of the Sun as a giveaway, and Ian chose Terra Nova.

Speaker 0

这两款游戏都很棒,我们很期待把它们送给我们的‘节目好友’支持者们。

So a couple of great games we're excited to send out to our Friend of the Show level supporters.

Speaker 0

感谢你们的支持,也感谢所有 Patreon 的支持者。

Thanks you guys for your support and and to all of our Patreon supporters.

Speaker 0

不过,咱们还是直接进入正题吧。

But, yeah, let's jump in.

Speaker 0

最近你们在桌上玩了哪些新游戏?

What have you guys been playing on the table lately?

Speaker 1

哦,新游戏太多了。

Oh, so many new games.

Speaker 1

我想聊的东西可多了。

I got lots I wanna talk about.

Speaker 1

第一个是款让我特别感兴趣的游戏,但我还没完整玩完一局。

The first one is a game that I'm fascinated by, but I haven't actually finished a game of it yet.

Speaker 1

这款游戏叫《Emberleaf》,由詹姆斯·汤布林和弗兰克·韦斯特设计,由City of Games发行。

This is Emberleaf designed by James Tomblin and Frank West and published by the City of Games.

Speaker 1

这游戏以前根本没引起我的注意。

This is not a game that was on my radar.

Speaker 1

我对它完全不熟悉。

I am not familiar with it.

Speaker 1

它是在2024年左右上线Kickstarter的,现在游戏已经正式发布了。

It was a Kickstarter that I believe it was 2,024 when the campaign was happening, and the game is now out.

Speaker 1

是一位听众邀请我在BGA上玩了这局。

And I was invited to play this one on BGA by our listener.

Speaker 1

我不确定是Mythansen还是Mythansen,不过他们自己知道是谁。

I'm not sure if it's Mythansen or Mythansen, but Mythansen will know who they are.

Speaker 1

有人邀请我玩这一局,我就重新看了规则,然后我们就开始了。

Invited me to a game of this, and I I reread the rules, and we've started.

Speaker 1

才走了几步,但我对这个游戏的机制特别感兴趣。

We're only a couple moves in, but I'm really interested in the mechanics of this game.

Speaker 1

这个游戏的玩法是这样的——我得先看看BGA上的图,帮我想想清楚——但里面的内容真的挺丰富的。

So the way you play this one, and I'm gonna I have to look at the picture here on BGA to kind of refresh my memory, but there is a lot of stuff going on.

Speaker 1

游戏中央有个主版图,有点像《Root》那种感觉。

So you've got a main central board, which you think sort of like root.

Speaker 1

这里面有不少设计,都让人觉得特别像《Root》。

There are some things in here that feel very root like.

Speaker 1

整个地图是一片大森林,中间有很多空地,你可以在森林里建各种建筑,还能在空地之间修路。

It's a big forest with a bunch of clearings in it, and then there's spots you can build the buildings within this forest and paths between the different clearings.

Speaker 1

然后每个人还有自己的小版图,上面用来放资源、卡牌,还有好多小动物,游戏过程中你会把这些动物放到地图上去。

And then you've got your own little player board, and the player board has a place to store your resources, a place to put cards, and a place to put a bunch of little woodland animals that you're gonna be putting out throughout the course of the game.

Speaker 1

就是这样。

So there.

Speaker 1

今晚我要聊好几款游戏,它们都跟这款有一些相似之处,正因如此我才觉得特别有趣——因为它让我看到太多似曾相识的机制。

There's a bunch of games that I'm gonna talk about tonight that are that compare to this game in some piece, and that's one of the things I find fascinating about this is how many pieces I see that look familiar to different games.

Speaker 1

其中一个就是《Root》。

So that's one of them is Root.

Speaker 1

接下来,我发现这款游戏跟《时光回响》也很像。

The next thing I see in this game is that there's a similarity to Echoes of Time.

Speaker 1

卡牌在这个游戏里占了很大比重。

Card play is huge in this game.

Speaker 1

在你的个人区域里,有个两层的小格子阵列,每行三个格子,我记着还能再解锁第四个格子。

In your in your little player area, you've got this little grid of squares with two levels, and I believe it's three, and you can open up a fourth square in each of those each of those two rows.

Speaker 1

然后你把打出的卡牌放在这些格子里。

And then you put the cards that you play out onto these squares.

Speaker 1

每回合你的基本操作就两种:出牌或者滑动。

And the basic move that you're gonna take every turn is you're either going to play or you're going to slide.

Speaker 1

出牌就是从手牌里拿一张卡,每个玩家都有自己独特的牌组,然后把这张角色卡放到自己的版图上。

Playing, you take a card out of your hand and each player is gonna have a unique deck, and you're gonna play that character out onto your board.

Speaker 1

几乎每个角色,或者说是所有角色,都自带一个即时效果。

And almost all the characters or probably all the characters have some instant effect.

Speaker 1

当你打出这个角色时,把它放到网格里,就会触发某种即时行动。

So when you play this character, you throw it down in this grid, and that's gonna have some kind of instant action.

Speaker 1

每个角色还有一系列相关的属性值。

And then each of the characters also has a series of stats associated associated with it.

Speaker 1

这游戏里你要做很多事,比如移动、在这些危险区域战斗——他们叫这些地方危险区——还有收集木材、资源、食物等等。

So there are a bunch of things you're gonna be doing in this game, like you're gonna be moving, you're gonna be fighting in these danger zones, these dangerous areas they call them, and and various other things, gathering wood, gathering resources, gathering food.

Speaker 1

所以每当你打出一个角色,你的某项属性就会相应增加。

And so every time you play one of these characters, you're also gonna get some addition to one of your stats.

Speaker 1

比如某个角色有攻击能力,但会给你增加移动值。

So you may have one character that has an attack action, but they give you a movement stat.

Speaker 1

因此,当你执行行动时,要计算所有相关属性的总和。

And so you're gonna be adding up these stats when you take an action.

Speaker 1

比如说,你打出一张带战斗效果的卡,就得看看你场上所有已出的角色,算算它们一共提供了多少战斗值,这就是你这次战斗的强度。

If for example, you have a card that has a combat action, you're gonna look around at all the different characters you have out in this little tableau, and you're gonna look to see how many how many combat do I have with all these characters that I played, and that's gonna be the strength of your combat action.

Speaker 1

这一点待会儿我会提到,会派上用场。

And that's gonna come into play in something I'm gonna talk about in a minute.

Speaker 1

但让我想起《时光回响》的地方在于,另一个动作叫‘滑动’。

But the part that reminds me of Echoes of Time is that the other action you take is called a slide action.

Speaker 1

在滑动时,你会按照这些格子的顺序,把所有牌向左推一格。

And in the slide action, you go in order of these different squares and you slide all of the cards one space to the left.

Speaker 1

除了每张牌打出时的即时效果,很多牌还自带滑动效果。

And on top of the instant action that you get for when you play each of those cards, many of them have a slide action.

Speaker 1

如果牌被滑动了,你就触发一个和即时打出不同的动作。

So if the card slides, you take a certain action that's different than the instant play action.

Speaker 1

有些牌可能还附带‘掉落’效果。

There may be some that also have a drop off action.

Speaker 1

就像《时光回响》那样,当你把牌推到棋盘边缘时,下一步就是把它推下棋盘,有些角色专门设计了在被推下时触发的技能。

So like echoes of time, when you push a card to the edge of your board, the next step is to push it off the board, and there are some characters that have actions you take specifically when they get knocked off the board.

Speaker 1

你可能会让这些角色在棋盘上停留几轮,来回移动,直到最后才触发它们的特殊效果。

So you may have them out there for a couple rounds and, you have them moving around the board before you get a chance to actually use that action.

Speaker 1

这些卡上还有一些其他类型的动作,不过我就不细说了,现在只是想让你大概感受一下这个机制。

And there's a couple of other different types of actions on those cards too that I I'm not gonna get into now because I just wanna give sort of the flavor of this.

Speaker 1

你会不断地在棋盘上移动、滑动和摆放这些卡牌。

But you're gonna be manipulating these cards around your board, sliding them and placing them.

Speaker 1

一旦有卡牌被推下棋盘,你就把它拿回手牌,下次还能再打出来,这样又能触发一次即时效果。

And if one goes off the board, you're gonna take it back into your hand and it's gonna be available to play again, which of course would give you that instant play action.

Speaker 1

你主要的操作都依赖于这些打出的卡牌,而且随着游戏进行,你还能通过市场获取更多卡牌。

So most of what you're gonna be doing is facilitated by these cards that you're playing, and you can get more cards through a market as you go.

Speaker 1

除此之外,游戏的其他部分都挺简单的。

Beyond that, a lot of the rest of it is pretty simple.

Speaker 1

你会利用这些卡牌带来的效果,在棋盘上执行各种行动。

You're gonna be using those actions that come off of these cards to do things out on this board.

Speaker 1

你会移动角色。

You're gonna be moving characters around.

Speaker 1

你还会进行战斗。

You're gonna be fighting.

Speaker 1

不过战斗本身并不算激烈。

Although the combat itself is not very aggressive.

Speaker 1

你实际上是在跟游戏本身对抗。

You're fighting against the game essentially.

Speaker 1

这些地方叫危险区。

These they're called danger zones.

Speaker 1

如果你在危险区赢了对局,就能拿到一面旗帜,这能加分。

If you win a combat in a danger zone against the game, then it means you get a banner, and that's good for points.

Speaker 1

你还要在棋盘上建造不同类型的房屋。

You're gonna be building houses out on the board of different types.

Speaker 1

你会根据每个空地上房屋的类型来计分,同时把你的角色——那些小动物、林间生物——放到棋盘上赚取分数,而且当你把角色从这个小格子移走、放到棋盘上时,还能拿到它下面的额外奖励。

You're gonna be scoring based on the different types of houses that are in each clearing, and then you're gonna be putting your characters, these little animal, these little woodland animals out onto the board, collecting points from that, but you're also gonna be collecting a bonus so that when you take a character off of this little grid and put it out on the board, then you're gonna be collecting whatever bonuses underneath it.

Speaker 1

这让我想起什么了?

What does that remind me of?

Speaker 1

有点像在《Speakeasy》里建房子那种感觉。

That reminds me a little bit of building your houses and such in Speakeasy.

Speaker 1

所以你知道,这款游戏让我想到了好多别的游戏。

So, you know, there's so many games that this brings to mind.

Speaker 1

它的机制真是混搭得挺有意思的。

It's really an interesting mishmash of different mechanics.

Speaker 1

我还没玩完,所以也不确定后面会怎样,但确实挺吸引我的。

I haven't finished the game yet, so I'm not sure exactly how that's gonna go yet, but I'm intrigued by it.

Speaker 1

我会说说我的看法,不过在那之前,想问问你们对游戏机制有没有什么问题。

I'll give some thoughts on it, but before I do, I just wanted see if you guys had any questions about the gameplay itself.

Speaker 0

说来有趣,克里斯,这款游戏其实原本就在我想让我们近期评测的几款游戏名单里。

Well, this it's funny, Chris, because this was actually on a short list of games that I was hoping that we review in the near future.

Speaker 0

我待会儿会在赞助页面做个投票,看看大家想让我们聊什么,说不定很快就会再回过头来玩一玩。

So I'll throw a pull out to our Patreon soon and see what they want us to talk about, but we might be circling back to this and getting a chance to play it soon.

Speaker 0

因为我一直挺感兴趣的。

Because I've been interested.

Speaker 0

这款游戏是弗兰克·韦斯特共同设计的,他就是《猫岛》的设计师。

This was co designed by Frank West, who made Isle of Cats.

Speaker 0

《猫咪岛》这款游戏挺有意思的。

And Isle of Cats is a pretty fun game.

Speaker 0

它的视觉设计也很精致,看起来就让人想玩。

It looks like it has a matchably fun, attractive production to it.

Speaker 0

不过听你这么一说,这游戏确实挺吸引人的。

The game sounds really fun though.

Speaker 0

我之前对它的机制了解不多。

I didn't know a lot of the mechanisms.

Speaker 0

听你这么一描述,这游戏简直太对我的胃口了。

Based on what you described, it sounds like it's right up my alley.

Speaker 0

我特别喜欢那种卡牌布局类的游戏。

I love a good tableau builder.

Speaker 0

再加上有拟人化的动物角色,简直完美。

I love some anthropomorphic animals, so it sounds great to me.

Speaker 2

是的,克里斯。

Yeah, Chris.

Speaker 2

你之前没提这游戏的时候,我根本没注意到它。

This one was off my radar until you started talking about it here.

Speaker 2

我看过那些卡牌的插画。

I've looked at the art of the cards.

Speaker 2

画风特别讨喜,也很精美。

That looks charming and beautiful.

Speaker 2

艺术水准很高,卡牌的风格也特别舒服。

It's amazing artwork and that very nice style of the cards.

Speaker 2

真的很喜欢这种风格。

Love that.

Speaker 2

还有那些机制,听着也很酷。

And then the mechanisms sound cool.

Speaker 2

就像你说的,有点像《Echo of Time》的升级版,带滑动机制的那种。

It sounds like, an iteration like you said on Echo of Time where there's a slide action.

Speaker 2

我喜欢这种设计。

I like that.

Speaker 2

所以这些卡牌在你的棋盘上并不是闲着不动的。

So they're the cards aren't just idle on your board.

Speaker 2

它们在移动的过程中真的会触发各种效果。

They're actually doing stuff as they're moving around.

Speaker 2

我觉得这为《Echoes of Time》的机制增添了一个很巧妙的元素。

I think that's a neat addition to the Echoes of Time mechanism.

Speaker 2

这个游戏也在 Board Game Arena 上线了。

This one's also on Board Game Arena.

Speaker 2

我不知道你们有没有注意到,它已经在 Board Game Arena 上可以玩了,咱们应该去试试。

I don't know if you guys knew that, but it's it's up and running on Board Game Arena, so we should get it

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

你们刚才说的我都同意。

I agree with everything you guys just said.

Speaker 1

就像我之前提到的,我现在还不能全面评价这个游戏的体验,因为我还没玩完。

And like I had mentioned, I can't give a full report on how this feels yet because I haven't finished this game.

Speaker 1

但有意思的是。

But here's what's interesting.

Speaker 1

我看着这个,读完规则,又玩了几轮之后,真的吓我一跳。

What it feels like to me when I was looking at this and reading the instructions and from the few turns I've taken, I'm like, holy cow.

Speaker 1

这感觉就像把好多不同游戏的机制全扔进搅拌机里,搅出来个叫‘Emberleaf’的东西——听着可不咋地。

This looks like this big mashup where somebody threw all of these different mechanisms from different games into a blender and came out with Emberleaf, which doesn't sound flattering.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

我的意思是,这听起来可不像是能成神作的样子。

I mean, that's not something that necessarily sounds like, it would be the greatest game.

Speaker 1

不过,蒂姆,这听着像啥?

But what else does that sound like, Tim?

Speaker 2

蒂姆玩过的所有欧式游戏?

Every Euro game that Tim has ever played?

Speaker 0

我不清楚。

I don't know.

Speaker 0

不是。

No.

Speaker 0

不是。

No.

Speaker 0

我觉得克里斯想说的是某款具体的游戏,因为我觉得是的。

There's there's I think there's a specific game Chris is trying to get to here because I feel like Yes.

Speaker 2

有。

There

Speaker 0

是的。

is.

Speaker 0

好吧。

Okay.

Speaker 0

什么?不是。

What no.

Speaker 0

到底是什么?

What what is it?

Speaker 0

你到底想说什么?

What is it that you're trying to get to?

Speaker 1

《Arc Nova》。

Arc Nova.

Speaker 0

哦,对啊。

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

没错。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yep.

Speaker 0

完全正确。

Absolutely.

Speaker 1

它的感觉和我最初对它的反应有点相似。

It has that similar I my my initial reaction to it is kinda similar.

Speaker 1

真是让人惊叹啊。

It's like, wow.

Speaker 1

他们把各种元素全塞进来了,虽然不一定能玩得好,但确实有这个潜力。

They just threw everything in here, which doesn't necessarily mean that it's going to go well, but it definitely could.

Speaker 1

我的意思是,你把几种我喜欢的机制拼在一起,哪怕它们看起来差别很大,最后也可能做出一款很棒的游戏。

I mean, you put together a few different types of mechanisms that I like even if they, you know, they they seem very disparate, and maybe you end up with a great game.

Speaker 1

我得等玩完一整局后再来重新评价这个游戏。

I I I'm interested to weigh back in on this one after I've played a full game of this.

Speaker 1

如果你们有兴趣,我很乐意做个完整的深度评测。

Or if you guys are interested, I'd be happy to do a full feature review of this.

Speaker 1

当然,它在BGA上架也帮了大忙。

Of course, helps that it's on BGA.

Speaker 1

不过不管怎样,还是要感谢你们邀请我玩这个游戏,因为我觉得我在Emberleaf里发现了一些挺有意思的东西。

But either way, thanks to for inviting me to the game on this one because I feel like, you know, I've I've discovered something pretty interesting in Emberleaf.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

我个人不觉得把其他游戏里很出彩的机制拼在一起有什么问题,只要搭配得当就行。

I don't I personally have not had any problem when games kinda take a bunch of mechanisms that are highlights of other games and then put them together, as long as it's in the right combination.

Speaker 0

一款游戏好玩,不意味着每个机制都得是独创的。

Every single mechanism doesn't have to be unique and distinct for it to be a fun game.

Speaker 0

有时候,最有趣的恰恰是找到把这些机制巧妙融合的方式。

Sometimes the most fun comes from finding the right ways to blend those mechanisms.

Speaker 0

听起来这游戏真有意思。

This sounds really fun to me.

Speaker 0

我记得有一款叫《Endless Winner》的游戏,也是各种机制混在一起,刚上手的时候觉得太杂了。

You know, the one game I remember that also was like a blend of mechanisms was that endless winner game that felt like too much when we learned it.

Speaker 0

结果玩起来发现比我想的流畅多了,所以我希望《Emberleaf》也能这样,不管亚当现在是不是在摇头。

It turned out it was more streamlined than I expected it to be, so I'm hoping to hear that Emberleaf kind of flows a little smoother, regardless of whether Adam is shaking his head right now.

Speaker 2

《Endless Winter》就是一堆机制乱七八糟地堆在一起。

Endless Winter was just a messy blend of mechanisms.

Speaker 2

就像把所有东西倒进搅拌碗,开足马力一搅,满屋子都是飞溅的料,最后还得花大力气收拾。

It's like they put all this stuff in a mixing bowl and then put the blender on and shot everywhere out and it was a big old mess requiring lots of cleanup.

Speaker 1

我还想提一下,之前忘了说说这个作品的美术设计。

The one other thing I will mention, I neglected to talk about the art in the production.

Speaker 1

亚当其实比我先接触到这部分。

Adam actually got to it before I did.

Speaker 1

不过这款游戏的美术制作确实非常漂亮。

But the art in production in this one is actually really nice looking.

Speaker 1

里面有很多森林生物,还有好多精致的小木制棋子,我特别喜欢。

You got a bunch of woodland creatures, a bunch of tokens that are all these nice little wood pieces, which I really like.

Speaker 1

卡牌的插画虽然比不上《回声时代》。

There is, the card art, which, it's not as good as Echoes of Time.

Speaker 1

《回声时代》的美术风格独一无二,但这款游戏在主题上给了人类似的感觉——那些森林动物扮演着高奇幻角色。

Echoes of Time is uniquely awesome in its art, but this gives some of those same feels, not stylistically, but in terms of the theme, you know, the woodland animals that have these kind of high fantasy roles.

Speaker 1

而且整体画风更显自然,更有根系感。

And the art actually looks a little bit more, rooty.

Speaker 1

它更接近《Root》的风格,而不是《回声时代》,但看起来非常舒服。

It looks more in the the vein of Root than than than Echoes of Time, but it is very pleasant to look at.

Speaker 0

不错。

Cool.

Speaker 0

咱们尽快玩一局吧。

Let's play it soon.

Speaker 0

好。

Alright.

Speaker 0

最近我打算聊的第一款游戏叫《Off With Their Heads》。

First game I've had recently that I'm going talk about is a game called Off With Their Heads.

Speaker 0

这款游戏由 J.

This was designed by J.

Speaker 0

B.

B.

Speaker 0

豪厄尔和迈克尔·米赫尔西克设计,德鲁伊城游戏公司出版。

Howell and Michael Mihelsic and published by Druid City Games.

Speaker 0

插画由曼尼·特伦布雷绘制。

The art is by Manny Trembley.

Speaker 0

事实上,你会认出这些插画,因为大部分直接取自《爱丽丝战争》。

And in fact, you'll recognize the art because it is directly taken from Wonderland's War for the most part.

Speaker 0

这是一款X和Rite的游戏。

This is an X and Rite game.

Speaker 0

我们有掷骰权,也有翻牌权。

We've got rollin' rights, we've got flippin' rights.

Speaker 0

这个游戏属于‘猜题写词’类型。

This one is a trick and write.

Speaker 0

这个词是我刚想出来的。

I just came up with that term.

Speaker 0

简单说,玩家在自己的小卡片上选写什么内容,是通过一种类似赢墩的机制来决定的。

But the idea is that basically the way you're choosing what you're going to be writing on your little player sheet is a kind of trick taking mechanism.

Speaker 0

我马上就会讲到这一点。

And I'll get to that in a second.

Speaker 0

不过我想先聊聊这个游戏用的《爱丽丝梦游仙境》主题,还有曼尼·特伦布利的插画。

But I want to start with the use of the Alice in Wonderland theme and Mani Trumbly's artwork.

Speaker 0

他们实际上从这里拿走了好几样东西。

It's a couple of things that they actually took from here.

Speaker 0

关于这个游戏的艺术素材,我觉得他们唯一需要重新制作的只有那个记录表,也就是‘掷骰写画’用的表格,因为所有出现爱丽丝梦游仙境角色的地方,用的都是《仙境之战》里原封不动的图片。

So as far as the art assets in this game, I think the only thing they had to make new was the actual sheet, the Roll and Write sheet, because they used the exact images that were used for the cards and for the standees in Wonderland's War anywhere these Alice in Wonderland characters are visible on the sheet.

Speaker 0

这个‘叫牌’机制用的是一副定制的52张扑克牌。

And the game basically uses for this trick taking mechanism, it uses a custom 52 card playing deck.

Speaker 0

它是一副标准的52张牌,包含四种花色,每种花色都有从2到10、J、Q、K和A。

So it is a standard 52 card deck with cards two through 10, jack, queen, king, and ace in all four of the normal suits.

Speaker 0

但所有牌面都是曼尼·特伦布利亲手绘制的精美插画。

But it is all custom with beautiful artwork by Manny Trembley.

Speaker 0

我后来想起来,好像见过一套《仙境之战》的专属牌组。

I was thinking about it though and I remembered seeing a custom Wonderlands ward deck.

Speaker 0

于是我回去翻了‘疯狂碎片’的众筹页面,发现他们当时确实把这套牌作为附加品卖过。

So I went back and looked at the Shards of Madness campaign, the Kickstarter campaign, and they had actually sold that same deck of cards as an add on in that campaign.

Speaker 0

所以我想,他们大概是觉得:嘿,我们已经有现成的画了。

So I guess they decided, Hey, we've got this artwork.

Speaker 0

咱们围绕这个做个游戏吧。

Let's make a game around it.

Speaker 0

也许吧。

Maybe.

Speaker 0

可能这就是它诞生的方式。

Maybe that's how it came about.

Speaker 0

我也不太确定。

I'm not really sure.

Speaker 0

不过这副牌真的很漂亮,光是这点就挺棒的。

Anyway, the deck is beautiful, first of all, so it's cool.

Speaker 0

真正让这个游戏脱颖而出的是它的机制。

The game mechanisms are where this game really stands out.

Speaker 0

我之前对它一无所知。

I didn't know anything about it.

Speaker 0

我的朋友马克带过来的。

My friend Mark brought it over.

展开剩余字幕(还有 480 条)
Speaker 0

他跟我说:‘嘿,要不要试试这个?’

He's like, Hey, want to give this a shot.

Speaker 0

我一玩就被这游戏惊艳到了。

And I was blown away by this game.

Speaker 0

这个游戏的跟牌机制是这样的:你的玩家表格其实是个填字表格,每个玩家面前都有一张一模一样的表。

So the way the trick taking works is your player sheet again, is kind of a roll and write sheet, so each player has the same sheet in front of them.

Speaker 0

这张表被分成了三个区域。

And in this case, it's separated into three regions.

Speaker 0

顶部这个区域,还有另外两个,都是独立的小游戏。

The top region and these are all three different mini games.

Speaker 0

顶部这个区域画的是些蘑菇。

So the top region is what looks like some mushrooms.

Speaker 0

每个蘑菇都值一定的分数,只要你能把整个蘑菇填满。

And the idea is that on each of these mushrooms, they're all worth a certain number of points if you can complete the mushroom.

Speaker 0

但要填满蘑菇,你得在左边或右边填上数字,而且这些数字不能重复。

But to complete the mushroom, you have to fill it in left or right with numbers that have to be different from each other.

Speaker 0

所以如果你在第一个位置填了2,那这个蘑菇的其他地方就不能再填2了。

So if you put a two in the first spot, you can't put a two anywhere else in that mushroom.

Speaker 0

下面这一块是俯视视角的树丛排列。

And then the region below that is a series of trees from overhead.

Speaker 0

我觉得这设计是想模仿《爱丽丝梦游仙境》里的森林。

It's supposed to be like the forest in Alice in Wonderland, I think.

Speaker 0

这一区域的某些树之间有得分点,比如四棵树围成一圈,中间标着7分,那你就得在这四棵树上都填上数字,才能在游戏结束时拿到这7分。

And on that one, there are points in between some of these trees, so maybe it's seven points in the middle of four different trees connected, which means you have to write a number on all four of the trees around it to qualify for those points at the end of the game.

Speaker 0

如果你在整个地图上从没让两个相同的数字相邻,那所有你围起来的得分点都能翻倍。

And if you've never put two numbers of the same type next to each other on the entire map, you get to double all those points you've surrounded.

Speaker 0

最下面这一块是迷宫式的树篱,你可以从任意一边开始,总是把数字填在相邻的位置,但只有部分格子是计分区。

And then on the lower one, so it's a hedge maze, and you basically can start from either side, and you're always placing numbers adjacent to each other, but only some of the sections are scoring spaces.

Speaker 0

比如你在一个格子里填了2,但它不计分,但如果你能在计分格里填上7,那就赚到了。

So you might put a two in one space but it doesn't score anything, but if you can get a seven in one of the scoring spaces, that's good.

Speaker 0

这种得分格的分值更高。

It's worth more points.

Speaker 0

所以这些小区域里都有些迷你玩法,玩这些地图的时候,除了像普通游戏那样拿分,你还能圈一些小图标,获得额外奖励或加分。

So there are these little mini games and as you play on these maps on these little mini games, aside from getting points, like any Rollin' Wright, there are also some other little icons you can circle that will get you other bonuses or points.

Speaker 0

还有一些小茶杯图标,能让你调整数字该放在哪个区域。

There's these little teacups that will get the opportunity to adjust which region you put your number in.

Speaker 0

还有那些小爱丽丝仙境人物,每个迷你玩法里都有这些小图标。

And then there are the little Wonderlandians, those little icons printed in the different mini games.

Speaker 0

每圈一个,就能算一点分,最后加到你的总分里。

And for each of those you get to and can check off, those are worth a certain number of points for the total that you've gotten at the end of the game.

Speaker 0

这儿有几个小迷你玩法。

So a few little mini games here.

Speaker 0

但这就是地图,对吧?

But that's the map, right?

Speaker 0

游戏是这么玩的。

Here's how the game plays.

Speaker 0

每一轮,每个人都要从手牌里出一张卡。

Every turn, everybody's going to take one of the cards from their hand.

Speaker 0

假设我们每人发了十张牌。

Let's say that we're dealt 10 cards.

Speaker 0

我不确定自己数得对不对。

I don't know if I got the count right.

Speaker 0

每人从手牌里选一张,背面朝下放好,然后大家一起同时亮出来。

And we're going to take one card from your hand, put it face down, we all reveal it at the same time.

Speaker 0

牌最大的人,把牌上的数字放在地图的最上方区域。

Whoever has the highest card plays in the top region of the map.

Speaker 0

他必须把自己亮出的数字填到最上方的区域里。

And they have to put that number that they presented in the top region.

Speaker 0

牌最小的人放在最下方区域,中间的牌就放在中部区域,不管是不是有好几个人牌一样。

Whoever has the lowest card will play in the lowest region of the map, and whoever has anything in between, whether it's more than one player or not, will go in the middle region of the map.

Speaker 0

我们玩的是三人局,但加了个虚拟玩家。

We played a three player game and they have a dummy player.

Speaker 0

所以其实就是再翻一张牌,当作第四个人的牌。

So basically you just flip over another card for a dummy player to represent the fourth player.

Speaker 0

所以有时候你实际上一直在跟另外三个人对战。

So sometimes you're basically always playing against three other people.

Speaker 0

比如,两个人可能都落在地图的中间区域,因为虚拟玩家占了最下方的位置。

So two people might be in the middle region of the map because the dummy player is still the bottom region, for example.

Speaker 0

这听起来挺直接的,但还得看花色,花色有优先级,而且每轮都会轮换。

That seems pretty straightforward except that this is also based on suit and there's a ranking of the suits and this rotates every turn.

Speaker 0

有个小标记会显示当前的王牌花色。

There's a little marker that indicates what the active trump suit is.

Speaker 0

比如说第一轮是红桃,接下来顺时针轮到黑桃,黑桃就是次高的,然后是方块,再是梅花。

Let's say that in the first round it's hearts, and then you kind of look around the next suit after that is spades, so spades would be the next highest, and then diamonds would be the next highest, and then clubs would be the next highest.

Speaker 0

如果我出了一张梅花9,可能还是最小的,因为别人出的是2,但花色更高。

So if I played a nine of clubs, for example, I might be the lowest even though someone else played a two because they played a two of a higher suit.

Speaker 0

这一轮结束后,王牌标记会移到下一个花色,然后所有人再出下一圈牌。

And then after that turn, the trump marker moves, the suit marker moves, and then everybody plays another trick again.

Speaker 0

因为你目标是把特定的牌放到特定区域,所以总希望出牌顺序刚好能压过别人。

And since you're trying to get specific numbers or specific cards within a region, you're always hoping that you're playing it in the right order, that you're gonna beat the other people.

Speaker 0

而操控花色的优先级,正是实现这一点的关键。

And playing around with the suit priority is kind of how you pull that off.

Speaker 0

比如在底层区域,你希望拿到大点数的牌,尤其是在到达计分点的时候;但如果你只能靠最小的牌赢下这一轮,那唯一的办法就是用低花色的大牌赢——而且你可能知道,其他玩家的手牌都已经打完了。

Like in the bottom region, you wanna have big numbers when you get to one of those scoring spaces, but if you only win it with the lowest number, obviously, only way to do that is by managing to get a higher number in a low suit and, you know, maybe you know that everyone else has played out their hands.

Speaker 0

总之,这基本上就是游戏的玩法。

So anyway, that's basically how the game plays.

Speaker 0

如果我没记错的话,我们通常是打三轮,最后像典型的罗兰·赖特那样统计算分。

If I remember right, I think we end up playing through three hands, and then at the end, you just score everything up like a typical Roland Wright.

Speaker 0

我玩得特别开心,感觉玩家之间的互动特别多,因为你得时刻留意别人出了什么牌。

I just had a really, really fun time with It felt like a lot of player interaction because you were watching what the other players had played.

Speaker 0

你得观察他们想打什么目标。

You were watching what they were trying to go to.

Speaker 0

你还会想办法干扰,比如说有人快要在底层区域拿到奖励了,你就尽量抢走那张最小的牌,阻止他们。

You were trying to trick, you know, sometimes pull away let's say you know somebody's about to hit a bonus in the bottom map, try to pull away that lowest card from them if you can.

Speaker 0

或者如果你特别需要冲到地图顶端,那就像普通吃墩游戏那样,直接压过他们。

Or if you really need to get to the top of the map, try to beat them like a typical trick taker.

Speaker 0

这种设计让选行动的过程特别有意思。

Really fun way to make the action selection in this x and right game.

Speaker 0

游戏规则其实挺简单的,但玩起来特别带感。

Pretty simple game though, but but super fun.

Speaker 2

蒂姆,我不太确定《斩首》这个主题怎么样。

Tim, I don't know about Off With Their Heads here.

Speaker 2

听着还行,但节奏流畅吗?

It sounds okay to me, but how is the flow?

Speaker 2

我倒更想直接玩传统夺牌,拿牌、出牌,完事就走。

I feel like 'd just rather just play trick taking and just go trick take and be done.

Speaker 2

你每次选完行动,都要把牌摊在桌上,做个标记,然后说,好了。

Do you have to, like, put your do you put your cards down every time you pick a pencil and you make a mark on your thing and then you're like, okay.

Speaker 2

接着又得重新选牌,再来一轮。

Now I'm picking my cards again and here we go.

Speaker 0

其实特别简单。

Well, it's really it's really easy.

Speaker 0

就两秒钟的事儿。

It takes like it takes like two seconds.

Speaker 0

我的意思是,基本上。

I mean, basically

Speaker 2

听起来每轮大概要五分钟吧。

Probably takes like five minutes per turn is what it sounds

Speaker 0

对我来说是这样。

like to me.

Speaker 0

听上去挺糟糕的。

So sounds awful.

Speaker 0

我们整个游戏玩下来,大概三十分钟都不到。

We we played the whole game in probably thirty minutes or less.

Speaker 0

不会的。

So no.

Speaker 0

这游戏节奏很快,每一轮都特别过瘾。

It's it's a quick it's a quick, brisk game, and it felt like just super fun turns every time.

Speaker 0

所以完全不是那样。

So nothing like that.

Speaker 0

因为这些区域——这点可能很重要——作为一款掷骰填表游戏,它能填的地方其实没几个。

Because the regions, and maybe this is important, one of the things about this as a roll and write game is it doesn't have a ton of different places you can mark stuff.

Speaker 0

也许这就是原因。

And maybe that's why.

Speaker 0

可能是为了保持互动的流畅性,故意设计得简单一点。

Maybe it's intentionally a little bit more simple because of the to keep the flow going with all the interaction.

Speaker 0

但即使能填的区域不多,链条也相对直接,每次我拿到想用的那张牌时,还是能感受到很强的紧张感。

But even without a ton of regions to mark in and some fairly straightforward chains, I still felt a ton of tension every time I knew what I was hoping to win with that card.

Speaker 0

那张牌,我必须填在下面,因为我需要一张红色的三。

That particular card, I needed to go in the bottom because I need a red card, with a number three in it.

Speaker 0

结果有人抢先把我想要的那格占了。

And and and then somebody took that lower trick for me.

Speaker 0

所以到底该往哪儿放,能不能放成,整个过程都充满了压力。

So there was a lot of tension for where you wanted to play and and whether you were able to do that.

Speaker 2

每个人都是用自己的表格来写,还是大家一起用一张?

Does everybody have their own sheet to write on or is it one community?

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

不是。

No.

Speaker 0

没错。

It's yeah.

Speaker 0

每个人都是用自己的表格来写。

Everybody's writing on their own sheet.

Speaker 1

每当你提到‘赢牌’,我就特别紧张,看着这游戏直摇头。

Well, I feel a ton of tension every time you say trick taker and so I'm looking at this going, oh, man.

Speaker 1

那个小游戏听起来挺有意思的。

The whole thing with the mini game sounds kinda fun.

Speaker 1

我喜欢这种小游戏。

I like mini games.

Speaker 1

我喜欢这种边掷骰子边记录的玩法。

I like roll and write.

Speaker 1

这种掷骰子加记录的部分听起来挺有意思的。

The roll and write part sounds kinda fun.

Speaker 1

除了加点卡牌技巧的元素,这游戏根本没法被玩砸。

There's no way to ruin a perfectly good game other than throwing a little trick taking in there.

Speaker 0

让我重新表述一下,因为这其实不算典型的卡牌技巧玩法。

Well, let me let me rephrase it because it's not exactly trick taking.

Speaker 0

其实有点像《利伯塔利亚》,克里斯。

It's actually a little bit kind of like Libertalia, Chris.

Speaker 2

就像

It's like

Speaker 0

那个

Is that

Speaker 2

是好事还是坏事?

a good thing or bad thing?

Speaker 1

我也不喜欢那个。

I don't like that one either.

Speaker 1

不对。

No.

Speaker 1

说得有道理。

Fair enough.

Speaker 1

那也是我特别讨厌的一款游戏。

That that is another game I hate.

Speaker 2

关于《Off With Their Heads》这款游戏,你还有别的看法吗?

I was off with their anything else about Off With Their Heads?

Speaker 1

我试过一次。

I try it.

Speaker 0

继续吧。

Move along.

Speaker 2

我们接着说。

Moving along.

Speaker 2

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 2

今晚我要聊三款游戏。

I'm gonna talk about three games tonight.

Speaker 2

我会从我觉得最简单、最轻量的开始,逐步说到最复杂的。

Also, I'm gonna go what I think is lightest or least complex to most complex.

Speaker 2

先从一款叫《双人组队》的游戏说起。

I'm gonna start off with a game called Tag Team.

Speaker 2

这款游戏由斯科orpion Masquet公司于2025年出版,设计师是Gritsje German和Quarantin LeBrat。

This was published in 2025 by Scorpion Masquet designed by Gritsje German and Quarantin LeBrat.

Speaker 2

我在富勒顿的聚会中玩过这一款。

I had a chance to play this one at the Fullerton meetup.

Speaker 2

这是一款非常轻量级的游戏,据说叫‘自动对战类’。

This is an incredibly light I guess it's called an auto battler.

Speaker 2

我也不太清楚这到底是什么意思,待会儿我尽量解释清楚。

I don't know what that was or what that meant, so I'll try to explain it here.

Speaker 2

首先,我来给大家描述一下场景。

First, let me set the scene.

Speaker 2

想象一下以前街机厅里的格斗游戏。

So think of an old school fighting arcade game.

Speaker 2

就像《街头霸王》《饿狼传说》《世界英雄》或者《侍魂》这样的,我就不一一列举了。

Think of like Street Fighter or Fatal Fury or World Heroes or Samurai Showdown or I I don't wanna keep going.

Speaker 2

你心里想到哪个就加哪个。

Throw in your favorite.

Speaker 0

《真人快打》。

Mortal Kombat.

Speaker 2

对,就是《真人快打》。

Mortal Kombat.

Speaker 2

没错,就是这个。

There you go.

Speaker 2

就想象那种当年在街机厅里玩的这类游戏。

So think of one of those from back in the day at the arcade.

Speaker 2

你要做的就是选两个角色,这两个角色组成你的双人搭档。

So what you're gonna do is you're gonna pick two characters and those characters are your your tag team.

Speaker 2

这就是你的队伍。

That's your team.

Speaker 2

你可以操控这两个角色,而对手那边只有一个对手。

And you get to play as two of these characters and your opponent there's only one other opponent.

Speaker 2

这个游戏是二对一的模式。

It's one v one in this game.

Speaker 2

你的对手也会选两个角色,每个角色都有一套专属的卡牌。

Your opponent picks two players and each of these characters has a deck of cards associated with them.

Speaker 2

每个角色都有初始卡牌,这些就是你开局时用的牌。

Each one has a starting card, and those are the ones you start with.

Speaker 2

比如说我选了蓝色角色和绿色角色,那我就有张蓝色的卡和一张绿色的卡,边上带个黑色边框。

So say I pick, like, the, blue character and the green character, then I have a blue card and a green card that has a little black border.

Speaker 2

这些就是我的开局卡牌,战斗一开始我就用它们。

Those are my starting cards, and those are the ones I'm gonna start the fight with.

Speaker 2

meanwhile,我把他们剩下的牌都收过来,洗在一起,就成了这一副牌。

In the meantime, I take the rest of their cards, shuffle them up together, and now there's this deck of cards.

Speaker 2

那接下来我们怎么做呢?

So what do we do?

Speaker 2

最开始特别简单。

We start off it's super easy.

Speaker 2

每个角色都有生命值,会受到伤害,生命值会逐渐减少。

Each character has an amount of life, and they're gonna take some hit points, and that's gonna drain down.

Speaker 2

你可能会想到无限碎片或者星域之类的游戏,但这里的每个角色都有自己的生命值。

Like, you might think shards of infinity or star realms or something like that, but each of these characters has life.

Speaker 2

你的目标是把对手打倒,不是要杀死谁。

And you're trying to, you know, knock out your other you're not trying to kill anybody in this game.

Speaker 2

你只是想把他打晕为止。

You're just trying to knock them out.

Speaker 2

开局每人两张牌,你得决定这两张牌的出牌顺序,面朝下摆好,然后就开始了,有点像热手效应。

So you start off with two cards each, and all you can do you choose what order those two cards are going in and you put them face down and then off you go kind of like hot streak.

Speaker 2

你直接翻过来,按上面说的做就行。

You just flip them over and you do what they say.

Speaker 2

一张一张地翻出来。

So one at a time you flip them over.

Speaker 2

我能攻击吗?

Do I get an attack?

Speaker 2

如果我能攻击,就造成一点伤害。对方有一张和他角色对应的卡,伤害会作用在那张被翻出的卡上。也许对方角色有护盾,能挡住攻击,然后对方的卡上可能写着:如果格挡成功,就能获得一个额外效果。

Okay if I have an attack I inflict one damage, the other player has a card associated with one of their characters and you do damage to that character of their card that was flipped up and maybe their character had a shield so they block, your attack gets shielded and then their card might say, if the block was successful, then you get this bonus.

Speaker 2

真倒霉。

Dang it.

Speaker 2

明白了。

Okay.

Speaker 2

他第一张卡挡住了我的攻击。

Their first card blocked my attack.

Speaker 2

我记住了。

I'm gonna remember that.

Speaker 2

第二张牌,你打出第二张,然后执行上面写的效果。

Second card, you play your second card, and you do whatever happens on the second card.

Speaker 2

也是同样的道理。

Same thing.

Speaker 2

就按卡片上写的操作就行。

You just do whatever the action says.

Speaker 2

这里有个关键点:从你之前那副牌里抽三张,选一张加到第一轮打过的两张牌里。

Interesting part here is now from that combined deck of cards that you had, you draw three of those cards and you get to choose one, and you're gonna add that to the two cards that you played in the first round.

Speaker 2

好吧。

So okay.

Speaker 2

糟了。

Shoot.

Speaker 2

第一轮他们挡住了我的攻击。

They blocked my attack the first round.

Speaker 2

现在我要出一张能克制他们护盾的牌,还得排对顺序。

So now I'm gonna do something that counters their shield, and I'm gonna put it in the right order.

Speaker 2

你不能把第一轮打出去的牌重新洗回牌堆。

You can't reshuffle your cards that you played in that first round.

Speaker 2

从你那叠合并后的牌里挑一张新牌,像侦察一样,按你想要的顺序加进去。

You're gonna pick your new card that you pick out of the three cards from your combined deck, and you're gonna add that in kinda scout style in whatever order you want.

Speaker 2

叮。

Boop.

Speaker 2

然后把这三张牌面朝下放好。

And then you're gonna put those cards face down.

Speaker 2

现在是三张对三张了。

Now it's three cards versus three cards.

Speaker 2

接下来又开始了,一张一张翻出来,依次对决。

And here off you go to the races again, reveal one two and three one at a time, and you battle it out.

Speaker 2

重复这个流程,直到至少有一个角色被击倒为止。

You repeat that process until at least one of the characters is knocked out.

Speaker 2

规则超级简单,特别容易上手。

Super simple, super easy rules.

Speaker 2

这游戏十分钟到十五分钟就能打完,但玩起来特别有成就感。

This game plays in like ten, fifteen minutes, but you feel clever.

Speaker 2

首先,这两个角色的牌该怎么搭配呢?

First of all, how are those cards gonna combine, the two different characters?

Speaker 2

这个选择权在你手上。

You get that choice.

Speaker 2

你可以看到三张牌。

You get to look at three cards.

Speaker 2

明白了。

Okay.

Speaker 2

也许我想让我的蓝色角色出一张牌,因为她是个辅助角色,能给我的红色角色回血。

Maybe I want, my blue character here to put one of their cards in because she's a supporting character and will give life back to my red character.

Speaker 2

所以我得把这张牌加进去,因为红色角色现在被打得挺惨的。

So I'm gonna put that card in because that character is getting their butts kicked.

Speaker 2

好吧。

And okay.

Speaker 2

那我现在该把这张牌放在什么位置呢?

Now what order am I gonna put this in?

Speaker 2

好吧。

Okay.

Speaker 2

我想起来了,糟了。

I remember oh, shoot.

Speaker 2

上回打中我的是第二张牌,还是第三张来着?

Was it the second card that punched me in the face last time or was it the third card?

Speaker 2

哎,记不清了。

Oh, can't remember.

Speaker 2

我觉得应该是这几张里的一张。

I think it's one of these.

Speaker 2

我先把这张放进去,希望没放错,不过他们也可能用同样的招数来反制。

I'm gonna drop that in here and hopefully I got it right, but maybe they countered with one of their because they're doing the same thing.

Speaker 2

这就跟猫捉老鼠一样,来回拉扯,决策不多不少,刚好够有意思,又不会让人头大。

So it's a cat and mouse back and forth, just enough decisions to keep it interesting but not overwhelming.

Speaker 2

然后你就这么揭晓,像《Hot Streak》那样,但两个人是同时进行的。

And then you just do that reveal, like, Hot Streak style, but you're both doing it simultaneously.

Speaker 2

一边扣减每个角色的生命值,一边努力活下来,每个角色都有点不一样。

Ticking off hit points of each character, trying to stay alive, and each of these characters is just slightly asymmetric.

Speaker 2

所以每副牌都不一样,赢法和变强的方式也各有千秋。

So all different decks, all different ways of surviving or getting more powerful as the game goes on.

Speaker 2

特别有意思。

Tons of fun.

Speaker 2

我早就买下这个了,朋友们。

I bought this one, guys.

Speaker 2

我其实已经买过这一款了。

I already bought this one.

Speaker 2

盒子里大概有十二个角色,说不定还不止。

I think there's, like, 12 characters that come in the box, maybe more than that.

Speaker 2

他们接下来还要推出新角色系列,比如圆桌骑士或者亚瑟王传说那种。

And then they're coming out with a new set of characters like a knights of the roundtable or camelot.

Speaker 2

他们还会在扩展包里加入所有这些角色,每个角色都有自己的一套卡牌。

They're gonna have all those characters coming in an expansion as well, all with their own deck of cards.

Speaker 2

这里能搭配出的组合和协同效果多到惊人,打一局也就十到十五分钟,特别过瘾。

The amount of combinations and synergies you can put together here, fight it out in, like, ten, fifteen minutes is just incredibly fun.

Speaker 2

这就是《双人搭档》。

That is Tag Team.

Speaker 2

你们听说过这个游戏吗?

Have you guys heard about this one?

Speaker 2

想不想试试看?

Do you guys wanna try it?

Speaker 1

没听过。

No.

Speaker 1

我没听说过,但听起来确实挺有意思的。

I haven't heard about it, but it does sound really interesting.

Speaker 1

听你刚才这么一说,亚当,我觉得如果你特别喜欢《安克》或者《分形》里的战斗系统,但又不想被一大套复杂规则拖累,这个游戏应该很对你胃口。

You know, the vibe I'm getting from what you just described, Adam, is if you really like the combat in, say, ankh or, fractal, but don't want the hassle of a big game all around it, this would probably suit you pretty well.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

不过,克里斯,每次进入战斗时,你都要选一张牌来应对对手出的牌。

But except, Chris, that in that, every time you go to combat, you choose what card you're gonna play kind of opposing the other player.

Speaker 0

我觉得这里特别的地方在于,你的牌组顺序是固定的,但你可以有一次机会调整一张牌的位置,相当于中途改变一下策略。

I think what's unique here is that your deck is gonna be in the order it's gonna be in with one choice to shift up, you know, like, kind of change a direction in the middle of it.

Speaker 0

所以我更觉得它有点像《挑战者》。

So I was thinking more like Challengers.

Speaker 0

亚当提到《热力四射》这个游戏能自动运行,但《挑战者》不一样。

Adam mentioned Hot Streak as a game that kind of plays itself.

Speaker 0

《挑战者》是在每轮之间加入一张牌,然后牌组就自动运行下去。

But Challengers is a game where you add a card in between rounds, and then the deck just kind of runs.

Speaker 0

它会按自己的节奏继续下去。

And it just does what it's going to do.

Speaker 0

而这个游戏更讲究策略,因为你至少能自己选这张牌,把它插进牌组的某个位置,希望借此改变顺序来占优势,当然,对手也会想办法抵消你的安排。

Where this seems a little more strategic is that at least you get to pick that card and put it somewhere in that deck to hopefully change the order in a way that benefits you, and, you know, your opponent's gonna try to offset that.

Speaker 0

这游戏只能两个人玩吗?还是可以多于两人?

Was this a two player only game, or can you play this with more than two?

Speaker 2

据我所知,只能两个人玩。

Far as I know, it's a two player only.

Speaker 2

你去看看Board Game Geek上的介绍。

Look at Board Game Geek here.

Speaker 2

上面写的是两人游戏,玩家社区也说最适合两个人玩。

It says it's two players, and the community also says it's best at two.

Speaker 2

我觉得这游戏就是严格限定两人玩的。

I think it's strictly two players.

Speaker 0

我挺惊讶的,这些没什么决策空间的游戏,我居然玩得不太开心。

I've been surprised how much I haven't been enjoying these these games that really don't give you a lot of agency.

Speaker 0

它们自己就能运行下去,但居然还挺有意思。

They kinda just play themselves, but can still be fun.

Speaker 0

比如Hot Streak,还有Thunder Road Vendetta,这类游戏选择都很少。

You know, Hot Streak, Thunder Road Vendetta is another example where there's not a whole lot of choice.

Speaker 0

你知道吗,有时候事情就是发生在你身上,你根本控制不了。

You know, sometimes things are just happening to you.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

但我还是发现自己比预想中更享受这些游戏。

And, still I still find myself enjoying them more than I ever expected to.

Speaker 0

我挺想试试《双人搭档》这款游戏。

I'm I'm interested in trying Tag Team.

Speaker 2

这款游戏的决策空间刚刚好,足够让我觉得有意思。

This one, there's just enough agency and choices to keep it interesting for me.

Speaker 2

我真的很喜欢它。

I really enjoyed it.

Speaker 1

你说,谁有闲工夫去操心什么决策不决策的呢?

You know, sometimes who's got time for agency?

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

亚当,一局游戏大概玩多久?

How long does a game play, Adam?

Speaker 2

如果你玩得快的话,十分钟就够了。

If you are getting this one quickly, ten minutes.

Speaker 0

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 0

对了,刚才听你讲的时候我有个问题,这副牌里除了造成伤害和阻挡伤害,还有没有其他更有趣的效果?

Oh, and the one last question I was curious as you were talking, is it is there anything more interesting happening in the deck other than just you do damage or you block damage?

Speaker 0

比如一些特殊机制?

Like, kind of effects

Speaker 2

哦,有的。

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 0

卡牌上会不会出现一些挺有意思的效果?

Might come up on a card that would be interesting?

Speaker 2

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 2

我的一个角色其实是三个不同的角色,你可以选择其中一个先出场。

So one of my characters was actually three different characters, and you can pick whichever one starts first.

Speaker 2

其中一个角色会说:行。

So one of the characters says, alright.

Speaker 2

如果触发这个效果,你的搭档就会恢复三点生命值。

If this effect happens, then your partner gains three health.

Speaker 2

如果是在格挡时触发,就把牌翻过来,它会变成全新的效果。

If on a block, then you flip the card upside down and it has a whole new effect.

Speaker 2

比如你成功格挡了一次攻击,就把牌翻过来,之后整局游戏都会触发这个新效果,可能更强力。

So if you, you know, successfully blocked a hit, you flip it over and it has a whole new effect for the rest of the game, maybe a more powerful effect.

Speaker 2

其中一个效果是让你猜对方攻击的是哪一个,然后——砰。

One wants you to figure out which one they are attacking you on and then boom.

Speaker 2

所以你就把这个加进去。

So you put that in there.

Speaker 2

让你的伙伴恢复三点生命值,还可能给你一个紫色方块,也就是力量方块,能提升你一次攻击的伤害值。

Gives your partner three health and it might give you a purple cube which is like a strength cube, the amount of damage you're gonna do on one of your attacks.

Speaker 2

随着回合推进,你还可以逐步提升自己的实力,让攻击变得越来越强。

So there's a way to build your your own strength as there's these rounds are going on as well so your attacks become more damaging.

Speaker 2

所以游戏的强度会逐渐升级。

So the game ramps up.

Speaker 2

不仅每个人的牌组会变多,角色本身也会随着游戏进行变得越来越强大。

Not only are there more cards in everybody's deck, everybody's fight deck, but the characters get stronger as the game goes on.

Speaker 2

我的另一个角色有一叠粉色卡牌,最底下藏着一些没人知道的效果,比如毒药、护盾,或者额外恢复三点生命。

My other character had a stack of these pink cards and on the bottom, you know, unbeknownst to anybody, on the bottom of each of these cards was something else like either a poison or a shield or three back health.

Speaker 2

不同的效果。

Different effects.

Speaker 2

当她的生命值上升或下降时,就会触发这些隐藏效果。

And you trigger these ones as her health was either going up or down on her health.

Speaker 2

每个角色的设计都截然不同。

Each character very different.

Speaker 2

另一个角色让我想起《拳皇2》里的由比,他的专长是能把对手的攻击或护盾反弹回去。

Another character who remind me of Yubei from Fatal Fury two who whose specialty was sort of deflecting back whatever a hit or shield was done to them.

Speaker 2

每个角色下面都写着,这个角色攻击特别强。

And it says on the bottom of each character, oh, this one's very good at attack.

Speaker 2

这个角色特别擅长支援。

This one's very good at support.

Speaker 2

这个角色挺狡猾的,或者那个角色有这种特殊能力。

This one's very, you know, tricky, or this one does this sort of thing.

Speaker 2

有趣的地方就在于搭配不同的角色,看看他们的卡组怎么互相配合。

And that's part of the fun of it is mixing and matching the two different characters, seeing how their decks synergize.

Speaker 0

听起来真有意思。

Sounds really fun.

Speaker 0

确实如此。

It does.

Speaker 0

我已经迫不及待想试试了。

Can't wait to try it.

Speaker 2

是的

Yeah.

Speaker 2

我也是

Me too.

Speaker 2

那是双人组队模式。

That was Tag Team.

Speaker 2

好的。

Alright.

Speaker 1

我的第二款游戏叫《明信片》,由埃里克·迪博斯和西蒙·凯恩设计,由Fenrir Games发行。

Well, my number two game is called Postcards, and it was designed by Eric DeBoose and Simon Kain and published by Fenrir Games.

Speaker 1

我刚才提到的上一款游戏《Emberleaf》是众筹的,这款《明信片》也是。

The last game I mentioned, Emberleaf, was a a crowdfunded game as was Postcards.

Speaker 1

我是在BGA朋友Figaro的推荐下接触到这款游戏的,从那以后我们俩就一直轮着玩,根本停不下来。

This one I was introduced to by my, BGA friend Figaro Figaro One who got me interested in this game, and we've been playing it on constant rotation ever since.

Speaker 1

在《明信片》里,中央有一个大棋盘,基本上是法国按地区划分的地图。

In Postcards, you've got a large central board, which is basically a map of France divided up into regions.

Speaker 1

这个游戏的核心玩法是骑自行车旅行。

And the general idea of this game is you're traveling around on a bike tour.

Speaker 1

就像那种轻松的骑行,车前筐里放着一瓶红酒,悠哉游哉地穿梭在法国乡间,收集分数、寄明信片。

This is like, you know, that kind of easy biking where you've got your little basket in the front with a bottle of wine in it and you're you're tooling around the French countryside collecting points and sending postcards.

Speaker 1

所以,这个游戏名字里的明信片,正是你得分的主要来源。

So the postcards that are the subject of the the name of this game are where you're gonna be getting most of your points.

Speaker 1

你一开始有一张明信片,可以通过行动获取更多,但你主要是在收集这些明信片——游戏里它们真的做得像实物明信片,挺用心的细节。

So you start with one postcard, and you can get more through an action, but you're gonna be collecting up these postcards, which are actually large postcard looking postcards in the game itself, so a nice little production touch there.

Speaker 1

你要给这些明信片贴上邮票,然后在对应的地区寄出去。

You're trying to fill these in with stamps and then mailing them from the appropriate region.

Speaker 1

所有明信片都有编号,就算你不知道普罗旺斯在哪儿,也能看编号,比如这是第4区。

And these are all numbered, so even if you don't know where Provence is, you can still look at, oh, it's region number four or whatever.

Speaker 1

如果明信片上标着4,你就去第4区,把这张明信片寄出去。

And if the postcard says 4, you go to Region number 4, you shoot off that postcard.

Speaker 1

每张明信片上都标明了它对应的地区。

So on each of these postcards, you've got the region that it's associated with.

Speaker 1

你手上有好几种不同颜色的邮票,还有一些小标记,我也不太清楚该怎么叫,但它们和不同的露营地有关。

You've got a number of stamps of different colors, and you've got a number of little I don't know what you'd call them, but secondary stamps that are related to different camping sites.

Speaker 1

你靠这些明信片来得分,但实际操作时要用这些彩色卡片,颜色有蓝、绿、红、黄四种。

The postcards you're gonna be using to score the points, but the actions are gonna be taken with these little colored cards that are either blue, green, red, or yellow.

Speaker 1

每张卡片除了颜色,还带一个图案,总共有四种不同的图案。

And with each of those cards, you've got a color, but you've also got a symbol, and there's four different kinds of symbols.

Speaker 1

其中一个图案是自行车,用它来在法国地图上移动。

There's a bicycle symbol, and the bicycle symbol is how you're gonna move around the map of France.

Speaker 1

还有一个帐篷图案,打出这张卡时,你得在地图上的某个露营地放一个小帐篷。

There is a tent symbol, and when you play a tent symbol card, you're gonna be putting out a little tent on one of the campsites on the map board.

Speaker 1

每个露营地对应的图案都不太一样。

Now each of those is gonna have a little different symbol associated with it.

Speaker 1

比如你在巴黎,就是城市营地,跟海滩或者山地营地不一样。

So if you're in Paris, it's gonna be city sites as opposed to beach or mountain sites.

Speaker 1

可能那里会画个小房子,而如果是个美食胜地,就会有个小锅之类的符号。

You might have a little building there as opposed to a place where there is really good food and there's gonna be a little pot symbol or something like that.

Speaker 1

所以你得把小帐篷放出去,可能还能因为放帐篷拿到额外奖励;帐篷放好之后,再根据你放在哪种露营地,看看你手里的明信片,说不定还能再拿一个额外奖励,取决于你去的是哪种营地。

So you need to put your little tent out, possibly get a bonus for putting a tent out, but then also once the tent is out depending on which type of campsite you put it on, you look at the campsites on the postcards that you have, and there might be another additional bonus that you're able to take based on the type of campsite you went to, what type of site you were looking at.

Speaker 1

这个奖励可能是多做一个动作、再抽一张牌,或者直接拿分数。

And that could be anything from taking an additional action to drawing another card to getting straight points.

Speaker 1

每回合你都要打出三张牌。

So each turn, you're gonna play three cards.

Speaker 1

每打一张牌,你都可以选择执行这张牌对应的三种行动之一。

When you play a card, you're either gonna take one of the three actions associated with the the card type.

Speaker 1

你可以拿一张新的明信片,要么从牌堆顶抽,要么从市场里选一张。

It's either gonna be getting a postcard, a new postcard off the top of the deck or one of the ones that's out there in the market.

Speaker 1

你也可以用牌来骑自行车,从法国的一个地区移动到另一个地区,或者用它来放置帐篷。

You can get a bicycle, which is gonna let you move from one region of France to another, or you're going to be using that card to put a tent out.

Speaker 1

另一个选择是不按牌面的行动来用,而是把邮票盖在你的一张明信片上。

The other alternative is to not to use the card for that action that's associated with it, but rather putting a stamp onto one of your postcards.

Speaker 1

等你把一张明信片上的所有邮票位置都盖满了,如果你正好在正确的区域,就可以寄出这张明信片拿分,还能顺手拿一件纪念品。

Once you've covered up all these stamp spots on a postcard, if you're in the right region, you can send it and you get points associated with that, and then you can take a souvenir.

Speaker 1

还有一堆纪念品,有的能帮你加分,有的能让你触发强力行动,或者选择使用这些行动。

And there's a stack of souvenirs that will either provide you with scoring or they'll provide you with some super powered action you have to do or that you can do.

Speaker 1

基本上就是这样了。

And and that's basically it.

Speaker 1

你会一直玩下去,直到有玩家寄出四张明信片为止。

You're just gonna keep going until someone has sent four postcards.

Speaker 1

然后这一轮结束,游戏也就结束了。

You're gonna wrap up that round, and then the game is over.

Speaker 1

这是一款非常简单的游戏。

This is a super simple game.

Speaker 1

教学时间大概就五分钟。

We're talking about like a five minute teach.

Speaker 1

桌面上的视觉效果很舒服。

It's got a nice pleasant table presence.

Speaker 1

插画虽然简洁,但效果很好。

The art is simple but effective.

Speaker 1

颜色特别鲜艳。

It's very colorful.

Speaker 1

上面还有可爱的小自行车,玩家骑着到处跑。

It's got these cute little bicycles that you're driving around on.

Speaker 1

整体看着就让人觉得很舒服。

It's just overall a pleasant game to be looking at.

Speaker 1

上手特别容易,随时都能开玩。

Super easy to get to the table.

Speaker 1

如果非要说有什么不足,那就是它太简单了。

If there is one downside to it, I would say that is is that simplicity.

Speaker 1

这个游戏太轻了,不太适合每场游戏夜都拿出来玩。

That this is such a simple game that if you're playing you know, it's probably not the kind of thing you're gonna be wanna be playing every game night.

Speaker 1

特别适合当填坑游戏。

It's a great filler game.

Speaker 1

晚上想收尾了,还差一个人没上桌,这时候玩它再合适不过。

It's a great kind of game to play if you've got, like, you know, space for one more before you wanna call it a night.

Speaker 1

你知道吗,如果现在才凌晨一点半,蒂姆还想玩到两点,那这款游戏就特别合适。

You know, if it's only 01:30 in the morning for Tim and he wants to go until two, then this would be a great game to put in there.

Speaker 1

我觉得它也挺适合当家庭轻量级游戏的。

It would also make a fine family weight game, I think, too.

Speaker 1

玩起来很快。

It's a quick one.

Speaker 1

上手很简单。

It's easy to learn.

Speaker 1

玩起来真的挺有意思的。

It's been it's been a lot of fun.

Speaker 1

我喜欢在BGA上玩这个游戏。

I like playing this one on BGA.

Speaker 1

如果你觉得我刚才说的挺有意思,又想找一款轻松、好教、适合全家一起玩的游戏,我绝对推荐你试试。

I would definitely recommend this to anybody who thinks that what I described sounds fun and needs something either nice and light, easy to teach, or family weight.

Speaker 1

真是个不错的选择。

Great choice.

Speaker 0

听你这么一说,再看看这个地图,让我想起了《环游世界》这款游戏,感觉最像了。

This sounds the way you described it and just looking at the map, it it reminds me of trekking the world, the closest I could picture.

Speaker 0

克里斯,你还记得那款游戏吗?

Chris, do you remember that game at all?

Speaker 0

你觉得它和《环游世界》的感觉相似吗?

Does that does it have a similar feeling to you?

Speaker 1

我记得。

I do.

Speaker 1

我觉得不太一样。

I don't think it does.

Speaker 1

我觉得这款游戏更简单一些。

I think this game is simpler.

Speaker 1

这款游戏的规则比《环游世界》简单多了。

The rule set is simpler in this game than trekking the world is.

Speaker 1

我觉得《环游世界》那种复杂性,反而让它更有吸引力。

And I think that in a way, the complexity in trekking the world makes that a more attractive game.

Speaker 1

我觉得这款游戏把难度降了一档,变成了明信片这种类型,因为规则简单,我反而没那么喜欢,毕竟我平时更偏爱重策略的游戏。

I think this one, you ratchet that down a step and you have you have postcards, which because it's a simpler game is a little bit less endearing to me because I tend to like the heavier games mostly.

Speaker 1

不过我明白你的意思。

But but I can see what you mean.

Speaker 1

确实,这两款游戏有些相似的基因,但对我来说,感觉完全不一样。

I mean, there's definitely some there's some similar DNA, but I they don't feel the same to me.

Speaker 0

我可能漏掉了什么,这游戏里有互动吗?

Is there any inner I I may have missed it.

Speaker 0

我是说,真的有互动吗?

Is there any interaction at all in this game?

Speaker 0

我是指,那种刻意的互动。

I mean, like, intentional.

Speaker 0

你会挡别人的路吗?

Are you blocking people?

Speaker 0

你会妨碍别人吗?

Are you getting in their way?

Speaker 0

你就是骑着车到处转,自己完成目标吗?

Are you kinda just, like, going and, you know, biking around and trying to fulfill your own goals?

Speaker 1

有一点,但不是完全没有。

It's minimal but not nonexistent.

Speaker 1

有几种方式可以干扰其他玩家的行动。

So a couple ways that you can interfere with what the other players are doing.

Speaker 1

你一开始会拿到一张目标卡,上面列出了四个你想寄明信片的地区。

One is you start out with a goal card, and it lists four different regions that you wanna send postcards from.

Speaker 1

这些信息是公开的。

And that's public information.

Speaker 1

如果你看到对手想拿某个地区的明信片,你可以在市场上抢先把它拿走。

So if you see a region that your opponent is trying to go for to do a postcard, you can try to snatch those up when they're in the market.

Speaker 1

你经常能成功拿到,而完成目标卡正是得分的主要来源。

And you can often get them, and that's a big source of points is getting that that goal card filled in.

Speaker 1

所以你可以这么做。

So you can do that.

Speaker 1

你还可以在不同区域搭露营帐篷,借此获得一些相应的分数。

The other thing you can do is that you can put down campsites, the tents in the different regions and get at least some of the points associated with those.

Speaker 1

因为如果一个人把某个区域的所有帐篷都占满了,就能拿到一大笔加分。

Because if one person fills in all the tents in a region, then they get a big bonus.

Speaker 1

如果你能阻止别人做到这一点,至少能让他们少拿几分。

If you're able to stop someone from doing that, you can at least stop them from getting a few points.

Speaker 1

这种互动不算太强,但如果你想找一款有点互动、又不那么激烈的游戏,它确实能让人满意。

It's not a heavy amount of interaction, but it definitely you know, it could scratch the itch if you're looking for something that has a little interaction but isn't necessarily super aggressive.

Speaker 0

看起来制作得挺精致的。

Well, looks like a charming production.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

蒂姆,这游戏的制作真的很精美。

Tim, the production here is beautiful.

Speaker 2

克里斯,你提到它挺轻量的。

Chris, you mentioned it's pretty lightweight.

Speaker 2

这里显示Board Game Geek上《Azul》的评分是1.77。

It says 1.88 here on Board Game Geek Azul is at 1.77.

Speaker 2

这个游戏的战略深度怎么样?

How's the the strategic depth on this one?

Speaker 2

如果你和两个人玩一百遍,这游戏会有明显的高手门槛,还是说全看抽到什么牌,运气占大头?

If you were gonna play this one a 100 times in two players, would you would there be some ruthless skill ceiling, or is it just kind of at the whimsy of which cards you're drawn and luck of this, luck of that?

Speaker 1

我觉得这个游戏的战略深度明显不如《Azul》。

I think this game clearly has less strategic depth than Azul does.

Speaker 1

《Azul》就像下棋一样,策略层次非常深。

I mean, Azul is I think it's like chess.

Speaker 1

《Azul》里头的策略和变化真的特别丰富。

You know, it there's an incredible amount of depth and strategy for Azul.

Speaker 1

但这个游戏就没那么深了。

I think it's much less so with this game.

Speaker 1

所以,如果你想找个规则简单但策略烧脑的游戏,《Azul》就是个好选择。

So, yeah, if you're looking for something that's a a heavy, you know, brain burn in terms of strategy, even with a light rule set, you can you can get that with, say, Azul.

Speaker 1

如果你想要的是那种游戏,那这个可能不太适合你。

I don't think this is the right game for you if that's what you're

Speaker 2

没错。

looking for.

Speaker 0

好的。

Alright.

Speaker 0

刚才说的是《明信片》。

That was Postcards.

Speaker 0

接下来我要聊的是我最近玩过的一款游戏,叫《精华版》。

So the next game, that I've had that I've played recently is called Essential Edition.

Speaker 0

这是Stonemaier Games寄来的评测版,我之前稍微提过一下。

This was a review copy provided by Stonemaier Games, and I did talk about this a little bit.

Speaker 0

几周前我受邀上了《So Very Wrong About Games》节目,如果你还没听,建议去听听那一期。

I I had a guest appearance on So Very Wrong About Games a couple weeks ago, so if you haven't heard that, you know, go check that episode out.

Speaker 0

那一期讲的是《月球殖民地血案》。

It was the Moon Colony Bloodbath episode.

Speaker 0

刚才聊了不少游戏。

Covered a number of games there.

Speaker 0

但我还想在节目里多说说《Euphoria》,有些点之前没来得及提。

But I wanted to give Euphoria a little bit more attention on our show, and and say a couple things about it that I didn't mention in that brief time.

Speaker 0

如果你还没玩过《Euphoria》,这是一款骰子工人放置游戏,主题和机制结合得特别巧妙。

If you've never played Euphoria, this is a dice worker placement game, and it's got a clever theme and mechanism integration here.

Speaker 0

故事设定是你在一个反乌托邦的未来当个中层管理者,要管好手下一帮员工,让他们傻乎乎地继续给你干活,同时你又在想办法逃离这个糟糕的世界,创造一个更好的未来。

The idea is that you're basically a middle manager in a dystopian future, and you are trying to, manage your little group of employees and keep them dumb enough to keep working for you while you're trying to figure out how to break out of this dystopian world and create a better place.

Speaker 0

游戏开始时每人有两个工人,骰子是六面的,但设计得很精致,上面用齿轮图案来代表点数。

It's dice worker place when everybody starts with two workers and the pips on the workers, these are d sixes but they're really beautiful little custom d sixes that have gears to represent the number of pips on each side.

Speaker 0

这些骰子其实代表你手下员工的智商水平。

But the d sixes represent the intelligence of your workers.

Speaker 0

比如游戏开始时,我掷我的两个工人,假设掷出一个2和一个6。

So if I at the start of the game, I'm gonna roll my two workers, and let's say I have a two and a six.

Speaker 0

那说明我这座城市里总共有8点的知识储备。

So that means that I have a combined total of eight knowledge in my city.

Speaker 0

我板子上还有一个小追踪器,用来记录我的员工智力是增加还是减少。

And then I also have a little tracker on my board that represents how my workers can gain or lose intelligence.

Speaker 0

我记得一开始应该是三。

And so I think it starts at three if I remember right.

Speaker 0

所以加上我那八个点数,现在总共有十一点。

So with that eight plus the three, I'm now sitting at 11.

Speaker 0

这个数值还算安全,因为一旦我的员工总智力达到十六点或以上,我就会失去一个骰子。

That's safe because if I ever roll my dice and I have a total combined intelligence of 16 or greater, I lose one of my dice.

Speaker 0

他们太聪明了,看穿了这个反乌托邦的真相,就逃跑了。

They get smart enough, they realize this is a dystopia, they run away.

Speaker 0

所以你得想办法控制这种情况。

So you wanna mitigate that a little bit.

Speaker 0

而你放在棋盘上的这些骰子,对应的是四个派系的区域。

But what you're doing with these dices out on the board are spaces that represent four factions.

Speaker 0

你有欢愉派。

You've got the Euphorians.

Speaker 0

这些人住在一座金色的城市里,掌控着信息的流动,典型的反乌托邦未来设定。

These are the people that live in this golden city that are controlling the flow of information, your typical, classic dystopian future type of place.

Speaker 0

还有那些废土居民。

You've got the Wastelanders.

Speaker 0

他们长期生活在城市外围,或者被赶出了城市,但知道得更多一些。

These are the people that have been living outside on the outskirts or maybe they've been kicked out of the city, but they know a little bit more.

Speaker 0

他们还记得过去真实的样子,所以对这些乌托邦统治者很不满。

They remember how things really were before, so they're a little disgruntled with the dystopians.

Speaker 0

还有地底人,他们住在地下,控制着水源。

You've got the, the Subterans who live underground and they kind of control the water sources.

Speaker 0

还有伊卡洛斯族,他们住在城市上方的漂浮区,靠卖毒品来让人在这样的反乌托邦里保持快乐。

And then you've got the Icarus, and they live in blips up above the city, and they're trying to sell their drugs to, keep people happy in this dystopian future.

Speaker 0

他们卖的资源叫‘极乐’。

They sell their resource is bliss.

Speaker 0

但你用这四个派系要做的关键是:每局游戏开始时,每个人会发两张辅助卡,其中一张要正面朝上亮出来。

But, but what you're gonna do with these four factions, the reason why the factions matter is that at the start of every game, everybody's dealt two cards, two helper cards, and you're gonna start with one of them face up.

Speaker 0

它们分别代表这四个派系之一,并且各自拥有独特的特殊能力。

And they're gonna represent one those four factions, and they're gonna have a special asymmetric ability on it.

Speaker 0

你还会有一张背面朝下的卡,可能和上面那张是同一个派系,但也更可能是另一个派系。

You also have another card face down that is gonna represent maybe the same faction, but likely a different faction.

Speaker 0

不过除了你之外,没人知道这张卡代表的是哪个派系。

But nobody else knows that except for you what faction that is.

Speaker 0

这一点很重要,因为棋盘上的某些位置会对特定派系产生有利影响。

And this matters because the spaces you go to on the board will potentially have a positive impact on specific factions.

Speaker 0

比如,你可以去一个地方收集资源——也就是基本物资。

So for example, one of the places you can go to is to collect resources, your basic commodities.

Speaker 0

每个派系都有自己擅长的特定物资。

And each of the different factions has a different commodity that they specialize in.

Speaker 0

比如说,荒原居民擅长食物,地下居民擅长水源。

So for example, the Wastelanders have food, the Subterans have water.

Speaker 0

如果你掷出一到四点并来到这个区域,就能获得一种资源,同时还会推动你所属派系的进度条,这很有利,因为能带来额外加成。

So if you go to that space with a certain dice pip like a one to four, you collect one of those resources, but then you also move this faction track up for you, which is good because it's gonna give you some extra benefits.

Speaker 0

如果你的另一张牌也是这个派系的,就可以翻过来。

It's gonna allow you to flip your other card if it's of that faction.

Speaker 0

有人即使没有这个派系,也会用一到四的点数去那里,就是想推高这条进度线,好翻转另一张牌,激活额外能力。

So somebody might go there with a one to four even though they don't have that faction to try to push this track up so that they'll get to flip their other card and have another ability.

Speaker 0

如果你在那个格子上放五到八的点数,就能拿到两个资源,这挺划算的。

If you put a, I think it's a five to eight on that space, you get two of those resources, so that's good.

Speaker 0

如果放五到八的点数,你只能拿到一个资源,但对城市没有任何正面效果。

And then if you put, I think, I'm I'm sure I've got this a little bit of I think if you put a five to eight, you get one of those resources, but no positive effect for the city.

Speaker 0

要是你放九以上的点数,不仅能拿两个资源,还能获得一点额外优势。

And then if you put a higher number like a nine plus up there, then you get two of the resources, but you also get a little bit smarter.

Speaker 0

总之,根据骰子点数的总和,你会获得不同的收益,可能对你自己有利,也可能对派系有利,每个格子都有这样的机制。

So in any case, depending on the total number of dice pips in there, you're getting some benefits that may benefit you, may benefit the faction, and each of these spaces have these.

Speaker 0

另一种骰子格子是‘挤占’格。

The other type of dice space there is a bumping space.

Speaker 0

有些格子只能有一个人停留,如果别人也想进去,就会把你骰子顶回你的版图上。

So only one person can go to certain types of spaces and if somebody else wants to go there, they bump your dice back to your board.

Speaker 0

这看起来可能挺不错的。

Now this might seem like a good thing.

Speaker 0

希望别人去用那个位置,这样我的工人就能回来了。

Hey, hope somebody else uses that space so I get my worker back.

Speaker 0

但别人可以故意timing,比如你面前已经有个六了,他们把你的另一个工人顶回去,那你可能就得重新掷那个新工人。

Except people can do it and time it in a way where let's say you've got a six in front of you already and they bump your other worker, you may end up having to roll that new worker.

Speaker 0

要是掷出个很高的点数,你的工人可能会跑掉,因为太聪明了。

If you get a high number on it, you might lose that worker because it ran away, because it got too smart.

Speaker 0

所以从这点来看,玩家之间的互动还挺多的。

So decent amount of player interaction from that point.

Speaker 0

另一个特别有意思的机制,跟棋盘有关,就是这些工地。

The one other really cool mechanism that has to do with the board is these construction sites.

Speaker 0

游戏开始时,棋盘上大概有六个面朝下的工地。

At the start of the game, there are I think six face down construction sites on the board.

Speaker 0

你需要贡献资源来帮助建造它们,如果你有这些特殊资源,一共有三种,好像是砖块、黏土和黄金之类的。

There are resources that you have to contribute to help build them, so if you have these special resources, there are three different types, I think it's bricks, clay, and gold or something like that.

Speaker 0

把你的一个骰子放在这个位置上,你得放弃一个特殊资源,但骰子会一直留在那里,直到这个工地建成。

Put one of your dice on one of these spaces, you give up that special resource, but then your dice just stays there until that site gets built.

Speaker 0

根据玩家人数,可能需要更多的骰子。

And based on number of players, it may require more dice.

Speaker 0

比如我们玩过三人局,每个工地至少得有两个人贡献骰子,不过同一个人可以贡献多个。

Like we played a three player game, you would have to have two people contributing to that construction site, or two dice anyway, so the same person can contribute.

Speaker 0

当你成功建成工地并翻转它时,你的骰子会被弹回来——这就是你拿回骰子的方式。然后你在上面放一颗星,星的作用我待会儿再说。但这个工地上面会印着一个负面效果,针对所有没参与建设的人。

What happens when you flip over this construction site because you've successfully built it is that it then bounces your dice back, so that's how you're gonna get that dice back, and you put a star on it, and I'll get back to the stars in a second, but what that construction site has printed on it is a negative effect that applies to everybody that was not involved in the construction of that site.

Speaker 0

所以如果你上面没有星,就会受到负面效果影响。

So if you don't have a star there, you have a negative effect.

Speaker 0

后期其实可以补一颗星,但设计的意图是:你不参与建设,就得不到那份尊重,或者不管那颗星叫什么名字,它代表的就是这个意思。

There is a way to add a star there later, but the idea being that if you're not helping build up these constructions, you're not getting the respect or whatever that star resource is called.

Speaker 0

我们每次玩都发现,大家总会不自觉地想和其他玩家合作。

And what we always find is that you're always trying to collaborate with other players.

Speaker 0

嘿,我要在这儿放一块金子,你愿意拿泥土来搭把手吗?

Hey, if I go there and put a gold, are you going to bring it there with the dirt?

Speaker 0

因为我得把我的工人收回来。

Because I want my worker back.

Speaker 0

咱们赶紧把这事儿建起来。

Let's get this built.

Speaker 0

过程中会有很多协商,有时候还会互相算计。

And a lot of table talk, sometimes some backstabbing.

Speaker 0

比如有人会说,当然了,我这就去帮你建。

Like somebody says, Yeah, of course I'll go there and help you build that.

Speaker 0

等你把工人放那儿了,人家却跑去别处建了,你就被卡在那儿走不掉了。

And then after you leave your worker there, they go and build somewhere else and you're stuck there forever.

Speaker 0

互动性特别强。

Some pretty good interaction.

Speaker 0

这游戏回合很快,你每轮就放一个工人,效果也很直接,所以流程特别顺,几乎没等待时间。

The turns are very quick in this game because all you're doing is placing a worker and they're pretty simple effects that happen on the table, but it always cycles through really quick, there's very little downtime.

Speaker 0

Stonemaier Games 刚刚推出了《Euphoria》基础版。

Stonemaier Games just published this Euphoria Essential Edition.

Speaker 0

事实上,这游戏现在可能还没上架零售。

In fact, don't think it's even in retail yet.

Speaker 0

我们拿到了一个提前的高级评测版,我想那些在Stonemaier官网预购的人,现在才刚收到货。

We got an early advanced review copy of it and I think that people who have pre ordered it on the Stonemaier's website may just be getting them at this point.

Speaker 0

那它和以前有什么不同呢?

What's different about this?

Speaker 0

这款游戏的原版是2016年左右发布的,我记得大概是那时候。

This game was the original version of this game was published, I wanna say back in 2016 maybe.

Speaker 0

这是Jamie Stegmeier继《葡萄庄园》之后的第二个设计,算是早期作品了。

This was Jamie Stegmeier's second design after Viticulture, so an early design.

Speaker 0

它比《天堑》还要早推出。

It before Scythe was printed.

Speaker 0

对我来说,这游戏一直挺有意思的。

The game for me was always fun.

Speaker 0

我觉得玩家多的时候,这游戏特别棒。

I think it's a great game at higher player counts.

Speaker 0

这是玩家多的时候玩起来最快的一款欧洲风策略游戏之一。

It's one of the quickest to play high player count euros you can get.

Speaker 0

玩起来特别有意思,但教起来真不容易。

A lot of fun moments in it, but it's pretty hard to teach.

Speaker 0

我觉得他当时想做的东西有点超前了——大量选择、高互动性,而且每轮都特别快。

I think it was a little ahead of its time as far as what he was trying to accomplish here, which was a lot of choices, a lot of interaction with very quick turns.

Speaker 0

说白了,这么多不同的行动选项,导致游戏一开始要教的东西太多了。

To some extent, what all that, you know, all the variety of actions resulted in was a lot to have to teach at the beginning of the game.

Speaker 0

以前我教这游戏的时候,原版版图上四个派系各自分布在四个区域,彼此之间还有通道相连,但版图太乱了,到处都是图标,得花很长时间解释整个版图是怎么运作的。

So this would have been in the past, I would sit down to teach this and the original board was laid out so that these factions had four different areas around the board, they interacted in different ways, like there was tunnels going between the places, but the board was just very cluttered, there was a lot of different iconography spread all over and you had to kind of teach how this whole board flowed together.

Speaker 0

这次的精简版,他们把版图完全换成了新的设计。

So one of the things they did with this Essential Edition is they replaced the board with a new layout.

Speaker 0

我特别惊讶,这个改动几乎彻底解决了教学难题,因为四个派系的玩法几乎一模一样。

And this, I was very surprised, almost entirely solved the teaching issue because all four of these factions do almost the same things.

Speaker 0

它们的行动格子代表的都是类似的操作。

They have spaces that kind of represent the same types of actions.

Speaker 0

所以他们把布局设计成你只需教其中一个派系的行动方式就行了。

And so they laid it out in a way where you can kind of just teach one of the factions actions.

Speaker 0

在棋盘上,你基本上就三种操作可选。

There's like three things you can do on the board.

Speaker 0

然后你就会说,没错。

And then you go like, yep.

Speaker 0

另外四个派系的运作方式完全一样。

And the other four factions work the same way.

Speaker 0

它们只是获取的资源不同,或者发挥的作用略有差异。

They just take different resources or or kinda contribute.

Speaker 0

每个派系在棋盘上只有一两处独特的设计。

There's one or two things that are unique between each of the factions on the board.

Speaker 0

这样一来,教起来比以前简单太多了。

So it made teaching it much, much, much easier than it used to be.

Speaker 0

我觉得这正是原版游戏当初的一大难题。

And I think that was one of the challenges with the original game.

Speaker 0

不过这款游戏并不适合所有人。

Now this game isn't going to be for everybody.

Speaker 0

它有点混乱,可能还带点狠劲,运气成分也挺大的。

It's a bit chaotic, can be a bit mean, definitely luck involved with it.

Speaker 0

如果你希望完全靠策略掌控全局,那玩这款游戏可能会让你抓狂。

So if you're like, I want to really own strategy here and take control of my game, you might get frustrated with this game.

Speaker 0

但不管怎样,花这点时间玩下来,收获的乐趣绝对值得。

In any case, the fun that you get out of it for the amount of time, it's worth the payoff.

Speaker 0

这个基础版还做了其他几处改动。

There's a couple other things they did with this Essential Edition.

Speaker 0

他们把2020年原版扩展包里的所有内容都收进来了,让我想想,这些内容叫什么来着?

They took all the content that was in the original expansion that was printed back in 2020, but they included everything let's see, what are they called here?

Speaker 0

里面有招募卡。

There was recruit cards.

Speaker 0

扩展包里的招募卡是基础版的两倍多,现在全都加进来了。

They had about double the recruit cards in the expansion from the base game, and they added those all in here.

Speaker 0

他们把建筑工地的数量翻了一倍,现在内容丰富多了。

They had double the construction site, so there's a ton of variety in here now.

Speaker 0

他们还把扩展版里加的一些小规则调整也一并纳入了。

They had a couple little rules tweaks that they'd added with the expansion that were included here.

Speaker 0

另外,他们做了两项我觉得特别重要且正面的规则改动。

And then they made two rules changes that I felt were pretty significant and positive.

Speaker 0

第一,他们删掉了叫‘道德困境’的机制。

Number one is they removed this mechanism called moral dilemmas.

Speaker 0

这想法挺有意思,但实际玩起来几乎从没产生过影响。

This was a cute idea, almost never had any real impact on the game.

Speaker 0

我觉得这选择也没多大意思,可每次开局都得花时间教一遍。

It never found it to be that interesting of a decision, but it was something you had to teach at the beginning of game.

Speaker 0

所以他们干脆直接把它全删了。

So they just caught it, took it out completely.

Speaker 0

另一项改动是,在工人放置类游戏中,工人越多当然越好,对吧?

The other thing they did is that in a worker placement game, having more workers is great, right?

但在这个游戏里,你可以消耗大量资源来招募新工人,从主题上讲,你要么用电击唤醒他们,要么泼水让他们醒过来——所以你会花掉很多电或者很多水。

But this game, you can spend a lot of resources, you can acquire a new worker, and thematically what you're doing here is you're actually you can either spend electricity to wake up a worker, you're shocking them awake, or you can throw water on them, so you can spend a lot of water on them, right?

Speaker 0

但这些资源很难获取,虽然很宝贵,却也可能失去。

But it's a lot of resources, hard to get them, they're good, but you can lose them.

Speaker 0

以前如果你丢了工人,就得重新来过,再花三单位水或三单位电才能重新招回来。

So previously if you lost a worker, you'd have to go back and acquire them the same way, spend three water or three electricity.

Speaker 0

现在他们在版图上加了一个叫‘失物招领’的区域,如果你的工人跑掉了,就会出现在那里,你只要花一单位食物就能去把他领回来。

Now they put a new space on the board called Lost And Found, and the idea that if your worker runs away, it's now in the Lost And Found space and you can spend one food and go there and get them back.

Speaker 0

这样一来,重新找回工人比之前重新招募要轻松多了。

So it's a lot easier to reacquire those workers than you'd spend all the effort to gain earlier.

Speaker 0

我觉得这样设计好很多,至少不会再让你辛辛苦苦招来工人,结果下一轮就被赶走了,那种挫败感轻多了。

And I think that just feels a lot less painful of acquiring a worker and then the next turn getting bumped and losing it.

Speaker 0

还有一些其他小调整,但改动不算大。

A couple other things that were changed here but not too much.

Speaker 0

如果你玩过《Euphoria》,大概就能立刻感受到这个游戏的风格了。

If you played Euphoria before, you're going to kind of know what the feel of this game is.

Speaker 0

如果你之前不喜欢《Euphoria》,这次改动大概也不会让你改变主意。

If you didn't like Euphoria, it's probably not going to change your mind.

Speaker 0

但如果你一直想试试《Euphoria》,我觉得这版绝对是目前最值得玩的版本。

If you've been interested in trying Euphoria though, I think this is really the best version you can play.

Speaker 0

我其实想问问你们,Stonemaier 最近对好几款游戏都这么做了。

I actually have a question for you guys about this because Stonemaier has done this with a few games recently.

Speaker 0

他们推出了一个叫‘Essential Edition’的版本,重新发布了一款不再热门的游戏。

They created this Essential Edition, which is they re released a game that isn't kind of an Evergreen.

Speaker 0

这款游戏现在销量已经没那么好了。

It's not a game that's selling a ton anymore.

Speaker 0

他们把扩展内容里最好的部分、调整过的规则,全都整合在一起,称这是‘最终版’,让你一次买齐,直接体验最完美的玩法。

They took the best parts of the expansion content, they took some revised rules, and they put it in what they're kind of calling the final version so that people can buy it, you can buy it all in one package, it's just the best way to play it.

Speaker 0

他们之前对《Between Two Cities》《Between Two Castles》这些游戏也都这么干过。

They've done this with Between Two Cities, Between Two Castles, I think.

Speaker 0

我也看到其他一些发行商开始效仿这种做法了。

I've seen a couple other publishers do this as well.

Speaker 0

你觉得这种‘基础版’的概念怎么样?

What do you guys think about that concept of an Essential Edition?

Speaker 0

你觉得这主意好不好?如果你已经买了原版,再出个新版本,会不会让你觉得烦?

Do you think that's a good idea, do think does it would it would it frustrate you if you own the game and then they publish another version?

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

如果你还没买这个游戏,我觉得这主意很棒。

Think it's great if you don't already own the game.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

但如果你已经买了,心里就会嘀咕:唉。

But if you do own the game, you're just like, ugh.

Speaker 2

我觉得《Parks》现在出了第二版,做得挺不错的。

Like, I think Parks has a a second edition that's out now and really cool.

Speaker 2

《Eclipse:第二黎明》本来是打算把那些更有趣的扩展内容都整合进去的。

Eclipse, Second Dawn was supposed to include the more fun expansions.

Speaker 2

好多游戏都这么干。

Bunch of games do that.

Speaker 2

我理解,如果你已经买了非基础版的所有内容,再出个基础版确实挺让人头疼的。

And I get it, you know, the potential would be super frustrating if you owned all the stuff for the the non essential edition.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我想是吧。

I guess.

Speaker 1

说实话,我可能会有点不爽。

I mean, I might be a little bit frustrated.

Speaker 1

但老实说,你能怪出版商这么做吗?

But honestly, can you really blame the publishers for doing this?

Speaker 1

抛开这可能是个不错的商业策略不谈,能买到最完善的版本难道不好吗?

I mean, putting aside the fact that it may be a good business strategy, it's also great to have optimal version of the game, right?

Speaker 1

说白了,咱们买游戏的时候,谁不希望直接入手最完美的版本呢?

I mean, all of us, if we were buying a game, we'd want to buy the optimal version.
