Speaker 2

如果按罗伯特议事规则来,我可是特别推崇这套,那咱们得先处理上回没完的事儿。

If we follow Robert's rules of order, which I'm a big fan of, we need to cover old business first.

Speaker 2

特别感谢这个周末来参加船展的各位,就在 Russell Lands 那边。

So I do want to say thank you to everyone that came out to the boat show this weekend, Russell Lands.

Speaker 2

那场活动办得真叫一个棒。

What a tremendous event that is.

Speaker 2

我早就说过好多次了,这是我一年中最喜欢的周末。

I've I've said many times, my favorite weekend of the year.

Speaker 2

真的没错。

It really is.

Speaker 2

能看好多艘船。

Get to see a bunch of boats.

Speaker 2

大多数我都买不起,但我特别喜欢看。

Most of them I can't afford, but I'd like I really enjoy seeing them.

Speaker 2

当然,周五晚上在威洛角还有水上船展,船主们会沿着湖边的栈道走秀,吃的更是丰盛得不得了。

And we had of course the in water boat show Friday night at Willow Point where they come out and walk the catwalk so to speak in the lake and we have food, I mean, to beat the band.

Speaker 2

你们很多人在社交媒体上都看到了那里的照片,周六则在岭湾码头,大家可以实际登船试驾,体验各种船型。

Many of you saw the pictures from that on social media And then Saturday at the Ridge Marina is where you actually come and you can test drive boats and get on boats and all that.

Speaker 2

我在那儿见到了好几位老朋友,还认识了不少新面孔。

And saw several of you there, met several folks I had not met before.

Speaker 2

见到你们真高兴,还拍了不少合照。

And so good to see you and got pictures with you.

Speaker 2

每次做这件事我都特别开心。

And always enjoy doing that.

Speaker 2

别担心问这些事会打扰我。

Never worry about asking about that.

Speaker 2

有人想拍照,我真觉得特别荣幸。

I am honored when anybody wants a picture.

Speaker 2

说实话,我简直不敢相信。

I I honestly, I can't believe it.

Speaker 2

我知道。

I know.

Speaker 2

我心想,真的吗?

I mean, I'm like, really?

Speaker 2

你认真的?

Seriously?

Speaker 2

你们都太贴心了。

And and you guys are so nice.

Speaker 2

每次见到你们,你们总会跟我分享一些特别暖心的故事,说怎么听我的广播节目、听播客,你们最近怎么样,这些对话总是特别有趣。

When I meet you, you always have some very heartwarming stories about listening to the radio show, listening to the podcast, what's going on with you guys, and it's always a lot of fun.

Speaker 2

所以呢,我们一直都在聊这些事。

So, you know, we we've been talking.

Speaker 2

我其实很想办一场大型活动,把很多听众聚到一起,现在正在考虑这件事,看看有哪些可行的方案。

I I would like to have a a big event where we got a lot of listeners together and we're kind of looking at that and what the options might be for that.

Speaker 2

几周前有几个博主来城里,我们还特意在科洛达湖这边见了面,一起度过了非常愉快的时光。

Some of the tubers were in town a few weeks ago and met with some of them down here at the lake at Collodja and had a great time with them.

Speaker 2

希望以后能多办几次这样的活动。

And hopefully we can can do more of that in the future.

Speaker 2

总之,这个周末过得很棒。

So anyway, great weekend.

Speaker 2

谢谢所有专程赶来参加活动的朋友们。

Thank all of you for the that that came out for that.

Speaker 2

我们对这些安排也特别期待。

And we're excited about that.

Speaker 2

对了,上周的节目,说到拉塞尔兰,我得提醒大家一下。

Now, last week's show oh, by the way, when it comes to anything Russell Land, let me let me remind you this.

Speaker 2

去他们的网站看看,russelllands.com。

Go to their website, russelllands.com.

Speaker 2

他们的网站做得特别棒。

They have a great website.

Speaker 2

他们的App也很不错。

They have a great app also.

Speaker 2

所有动态都能在上面查到,包括每周五的绿茵活动。

You can get all the details of everything that's always going on there, including Friday on the green.

Speaker 2

后面节目里我们会再详细介绍这个活动。

We'll tell you more about that a little bit later here on the program.

Speaker 2

上周我们没更新播客,是因为实在没办法——主持人病了。

Now we were were absent last week on the podcast and it was unavoidable circumstances, meaning the host got sick.

Speaker 2

我们本来都准备好了要录的。

We were set up to record.

Speaker 2

我是说,当时 studio 的灯都亮着,我却不得不赶去镇上。

I mean, we literally had studio lights on and I had to run to town.

Speaker 2

回来的时候还是不舒服。

Came back on the way back.

Speaker 2

我感觉特别糟糕。

I got to feeling so bad.

Speaker 2

我就躺到床上休息,那天晚上本来挺重要的,因为我们一群人要去看电影《迈克尔》。

I went and laid down in the bed and it was a big evening because we had a group going to see the movie Michael.

Speaker 2

我可期待了。

And I was pumped.

Speaker 2

我可是盼了这部电影整整一年。

I mean, I've been looking forward to this movie for a year.

Speaker 2

我知道迈克尔·杰克逊总能引发各种情绪,有好的,有坏的,也有说不清的。

I mean, I know Micheal Jackson stirs up a lot of emotions, some good, some bad, some confused.

Speaker 2

这个我懂。

I got that.

Speaker 2

但我确实是他的粉丝。

But I I'm a fan.

Speaker 2

我从小就开始听他的歌。

I grew up with him.

Speaker 2

后期的事儿,确实吧。

You know, the later years, sure.

Speaker 2

有点儿怪了。

It got a little weird.

Speaker 2

这点我认。

I give you that.

Speaker 2

具体发生了什么,我也说不准。

Don't know, you know, exactly everything that happened there.

Speaker 2

这事还没定论,怎么说呢。

Jury still out, so to speak.

Speaker 2

各种指控一大堆。

A lot of accusations.

Speaker 2

这一点我得承认。

I will say that.

Speaker 2

但我去看的时候特别兴奋,因为我一直很喜欢他们的舞蹈。

But I was pumped to see it because I was a fan of the dancing.

Speaker 2

我超爱那些舞步。

I was a fan of the moves.

Speaker 2

你知道,迈克尔只比我大几岁。

You know, Micheal was just a few years older than me.

Speaker 2

所以我们几乎是一起长大的。

So we grew up together almost.

Speaker 2

我记得那时候看他们和奥斯蒙德一家,收集他们的卡片,看他们的动画片,诸如此类的事。

I remember watching them and the Osmonds and having their trading cards, watching their cartoons, all that stuff.

Speaker 2

不过说回来,我还是要回来的。

So but anyway, I'm I'm coming back.

Speaker 2

我们今晚有个大计划。

We got a big evening plan.

Speaker 2

我们大概有十五六个人一起去看了电影。

We probably got a group of fifteen, sixteen people going to the movie.

Speaker 2

真期待。

Can't wait.

Speaker 2

我突然觉得特别不舒服,心想这下可真够严重的,就躺下休息了。

And I get to feeling bad and I think you know wow this is really coming on hard and heavy, so I went and laid down.

Speaker 2

结果更糟了,肚子一阵阵绞痛,天哪,感觉像被骡子踢了一脚。

Well I just got feeling worse, stomach cramping, oh my gosh, I felt like I had been kicked by a mule.

Speaker 2

根本坐不住,翻来覆去的,你们都懂的。

Can't sit still, you know, tossing and turning, you guys know the drill.

Speaker 2

谁没经历过啊,但谁都不想再碰上,对吧?

We've all had it, but we all hate it, right?

Speaker 2

后来我开始发烧,体温一路飙升,心想这下真有点严重了。

And then I start running a fever and fever's going up and I'm like, well, this is this is kind of getting really bad.

Speaker 2

这下 podcast 是没法录了。

No way to do the podcast.

Speaker 2

有一会儿,我的体温升到了101.7度。

And at one point, my fever was up to a 101.7.

Speaker 2

现在我作为成年人对待发烧的态度变了,我不是说这一定对或错。

And I now I have changed the way I approach fevers as a grown up and I'm not saying I'm right or wrong.

Speaker 2

但只要体温没到102度左右,我都尽量让它自然发展。

But anything under about 102 I try to let it run its course.

Speaker 2

小时候呢,一发烧就吃布洛芬、泰诺,能降下来就赶紧降,但只要没高到危险程度,比如超过102度,我都会让它自己熬过去。

When I was a kid you take Advil, Tylenol, whatever you can bring it down, you can push it down, but until it got dangerously high like over 102 I would try to let it run its course.

Speaker 2

现在可真不好受。

Now it ain't fun.

Speaker 2

成年人发烧,真的算是最遭罪的事之一了。

If you're a grown up running a fever, it's, it's, it's one of the worst things ever.

Speaker 2

简直像刚从地狱里爬出来一样。

I mean, you just feel like death warmed over.

Speaker 2

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 2

所以呢,我就让贝蒂去了,因为活动都安排好了,她也不好意思让我们干等着。

So anyway, I told Betty to go on because the group was planned and, you know, she didn't want to let us look, go ahead.

Speaker 2

你对我也帮不上什么忙。

I, you can't do nothing for me.

Speaker 2

我就躺床上了。

I'm going to lay here in the bed.

Speaker 2

床边放了个垃圾桶,里面套了新塑料袋。

I got a trash can next to the bed with a with a fresh plastic bag in it.

Speaker 2

那你能怎么办呢?

Well, I mean, what are you going to do?

Speaker 2

她就和朋友们去看电影了,这本来就是该做的。我现在感觉糟透了,你们肯定懂我在说什么。

So, she went on to see the movie with our friends which she should have done and I am feeling, I I mean, I don't think I can feel any worse and y'all know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 2

有那么一会儿,你真就只想求上帝带我走。

At one point, you just start praying for god to carry you home.

Speaker 2

我们管这叫‘直接要命模式’。

You know, we call it to kill me mode.

Speaker 2

摩西也经历过这个。

Moses had it.

Speaker 2

我们在广播节目里调侃这事很多年了。

We've joked about it on the radio show for many, many years.

Speaker 2

到了那种想死的地步,你就只想说:主啊,我真的撑不住了。

You you get to the kill me stage where you're just like, Lord, this I can't deal with this anymore.

Speaker 2

直接带我走吧。

Just take me out.

Speaker 2

我得承认,我确实挺娇气的,我不喜欢生病,结果凌晨五点左右,电又停了。

And and look I'm a I'm I'm kind of a pud on that I give you that I just I don't like being sick and then to beat the band about 05:00 the power goes off.

Speaker 2

我们这儿几乎从不停电。

Our power hardly ever goes off.

Speaker 2

贝蒂和朋友们出去吃饭、看电影,我却一个人发着将近39度的高烧。

So Betty and our friends are all they go out to eat, go go see the movie, and I'm here with almost 102 degree fever.

Speaker 2

没电意味着没风扇,没电视,连个能当背景音的东西都没有。

No power, which means no fan, no TV to watch to try to distract me, to even have on in the background.

Speaker 2

周围安静得吓人。

It is deathly quiet.

Speaker 2

也许我不该用‘吓人’这个词,但当时我真的这么觉得。

Maybe I shouldn't use the term deathly because I felt like it.

Speaker 2

我就想,主啊,你这是在故意吸引我的注意吧。

And I thought, well, it Lord, you're trying to get my attention here.

Speaker 2

我听着呢。

I'm tuned in.

Speaker 2

那我们现在该做什么?

What do what do we need to do?

Speaker 2

结果我们挺过来了。

And so we we made it through that.

Speaker 2

后来贝蒂回来了,我的体温已经降了一点,睡了个好觉。

Betty ended up coming in later and my temperature had dropped slightly and I got a good night's sleep.

Speaker 2

第二天早上,烧就退了。

Next morning fever gone.

Speaker 2

完全退了。

Absolutely gone.

Speaker 2

所以我希望我让发烧自然发展是正确的决定。

So I hope I did the right thing in letting the fever run its course.

Speaker 2

我觉得我要是早吃布洛芬那些药,可能拖得更久,但不管怎样,它就是自己走了,我两天都没吃东西。

I feel like if I had started doing the Advil and all that, it might have taken it longer, but whatever it was, it got it got out of there and I didn't eat for two days.

Speaker 2

两天不吃东西之后,接下来一两天都会没力气。

And then after you haven't eaten for two days, you're weak for a day or two.

Speaker 2

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 2

所以我们现在正慢慢恢复状态。

So, you know, we're trying to get back up to speed.

Speaker 2

我该做的都做了,该吃的药也都吃了。

I did my Pedia lot and all that stuff.

Speaker 2

但说实话,它来得毫无预兆,像一吨砖头砸下来,可走的时候也快得惊人。

But, man, it was it it hit me like a ton of bricks out of nowhere, and then it almost left as quick.

Speaker 2

所以,我们又回来啦。

So anyway, we're back with you.

Speaker 2

真的很高兴能再次和大家在一起。

Very, very glad to be back with you.

Speaker 2

我们今天准备了很多内容,有些事想跟你们聊聊。

We we have a lot on the table, some things I want to tell you about.

Speaker 2

如果时间允许,我会尽量回复一些邮件,不过今天主要还是聊聊电影《迈克尔》。

I'm gonna try to get to some emails if we have enough time in the show, but we are gonna focus a little bit on the movie Micheal.

Speaker 2

我们原本计划做这期节目的时候,我还没看过这部电影。

It is breaking all sorts of box office records and at the time when we originally was gonna do this, I had not seen it.

Speaker 2

但现在我已经看过了,也许这样反而更好。

But now I have seen it, so maybe that worked out for the best.

Speaker 2

我儿子亨特已经看了好几遍了,待会儿我们会跟他连线,一起聊聊这部电影。

My son Hunter has seen it several times already, and we're gonna talk to him in just a few minutes and we'll kind of break down the movie.

Speaker 2

刚才我跟你们提到了拉塞尔·兰兹。

But I was telling you about Russell Lands a minute ago.

Speaker 2

在我们彻底转话题之前,我想先提一下这件事。

I wanted to mention this before we moved off of the topic totally.

Speaker 2

夏天又回来了,他们每年这时候都会办一个叫‘绿地上周五’的活动。

Now that summertime is back, they have a thing they do called Friday on the Green.

Speaker 2

这可是当地人都特别喜欢的一个社区活动。

And this is, I mean this is a community thing people love.

Speaker 2

你带把折叠椅去,往那儿一坐,就能享受很棒的演出。

You bring your lawn chair, you go out there, you sit, you have this great entertainment.

Speaker 2

好多大牌明星都曾来这儿表演过。

And we've had some really big stars come through and perform at this.

Speaker 2

你永远猜不到今天看到的这个人,将来会有多火。

So you never know who you're seeing, what they're going to be later on.

Speaker 2

我知道节目播出时间不一样,你们肯定想问这周有什么安排,但我不会告诉你们这周的具体内容。

Now, you want a rundown, because I know this airs at different times, I'm not going to give you the one this week.

Speaker 2

你们直接去 russelllands.com 查就行了。

I'm just going to say, go to russelllands.com.

Speaker 2

去看看周五草坪活动的页面,整个夏天的安排都在那儿。

Look at Friday on the green and you'll see a list for the whole summer.

Speaker 2

哪些艺人会来演出,App里也能查到。

Who's going to be here also available on the app.

Speaker 2

这真是个很棒的活动。

So it's a great event.

Speaker 2

狗可以带,记得拴好牵引绳。

You know, dogs are welcome, bring your leash.

Speaker 2

狗厕所那边会定时补给清理袋。

They restock the bags in the dog waste station.

Speaker 2

Speaker 2

现在连线的是亨特·巴西。

Hunter Bussey is on the line joining me.

Speaker 2

亨特,您最近怎么样?

Hunter, how are you, sir?

Speaker 7

我挺好的。

I'm good.

Speaker 7

您呢?

How are you?

Speaker 7

最近几天我们都不太舒服。

We've been under the weather the past few days.

Speaker 7

我几周前病了,你上周也病了。

Me, a couple weeks ago, then you last week.

Speaker 7

人还活着,但跟半条命似的。

We still alive but barely breathing.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

说实话,感觉就像被一辆满载砖头的卡车压过,砖头全砸我身上了。

Well, I tell you, feel like I was behind a truck with bricks on it and it fell on me.

Speaker 2

事情发生得特别快。

I mean, it happened quick.

Speaker 2

就是一瞬间的事。

I mean, quick.

Speaker 2

我一生病就特别难受。

And I don't do good sick.

Speaker 2

我跟你说实话,我这人就是个易碎品。

I just tell you, look, I'm a pud.

Speaker 2

好吧。

Okay.

Speaker 2

我自个儿也承认,我一生病就特别遭罪。

I call it on myself and I just don't do good sick.

Speaker 2

我就跟一辆跑车似的。

I'm like a sports car, man.

Speaker 2

得方方面面都调得刚刚好,才能跑得飞快,表现完美。

Everything has to be tuned and I run at a great speed and I perform and do wonderful.

Speaker 2

可只要有一处出问题,整个就垮了,被马踢一脚肚子,肯定就全乱套了。

But if one thing gets off, it all falls apart and being kicked by a mule in the stomach will definitely get it off.

Speaker 2

所以你就是不舒服。

So you don't feel good.

Speaker 2

明白吧?

You know?

Speaker 7

没有。

No.

Speaker 7

天哪。

Gosh.

Speaker 7

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

我知道得病确实不好受,而且我觉得现在这病挺流行的。

I know it's it's no fun getting the bug, but and I think it's going around right now.

Speaker 7

我有几个朋友和邻居现在也正经历着呢。

I've got some friends and neighbors that are currently going through it right now too.

Speaker 7

所以你不是一个人,不过很高兴你感觉好点了。

So you're not the only one, but yeah, I'm glad you're feeling better.

Speaker 2

我也是。

Well, so am I.

Speaker 2

谢谢。

Thank you.

Speaker 2

你比我先看到。

You saw before I did.

Speaker 2

你已经看过了。

You've seen it.

Speaker 2

我不确定。

I don't know.

Speaker 2

我记得至少看了两次,可能有三次。

I know at least twice, maybe three seen it twice.

Speaker 7

我看了两次。

I've seen it twice.

Speaker 7

我可能还会再看一次。

I might see it a third time.

Speaker 7

谁知道呢?

Who knows?

Speaker 7

我们会

We'll

Speaker 2

看过了。

see.

Speaker 2

我们已经在计划回去再看一遍,说不定会选IMAX版本。

Well, we're we're already making plans to go back and see it maybe an IMAX or something.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

但我得说,我好久没在电影院里感受到观众席里那种激动的气氛了,买票的时候就特别期待。

But I I'm gonna tell you, I I haven't been to a movie that I felt electricity in the audience before, you know, out buying tickets.

Speaker 2

已经很久没这种感觉了。

It's been a long time.

Speaker 2

能让你有这种体验的电影真的不多。

There's very few things you go to that feel that way.

Speaker 2

这部片子就有这种感觉。

And this one had that feel to it.

Speaker 2

顺便说一下,这是我们录制时的最新数据。

By the way, here here are the numbers as of the time that we are recording this.

Speaker 2

国内票房1.83亿美元,这么说吧。

Domestic 183 let's say that's dollars.

Speaker 2

我刚才在找那个百万单位。

I was looking for the The million.

Speaker 2

不是。

No.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

我刚才在找逗号的位置。

Was looking for the commas there.

Speaker 2

国际票房超过2.4亿美元。

International over 240,000,000.

Speaker 2

所以全球总票房目前是4.23亿美元。

So worldwide, we're sitting at $423,000,000.

Speaker 2

4.23亿美元,已经接近一半的十亿大关了。

$423,000,000, half 1,000,000,000 that this movie has brought in already.

Speaker 7

我觉得它的票房还会继续上涨。

I think it'll get more personally.

Speaker 7

嗯,

Well,

Speaker 2

我跟你说,我们周日去看的时候,影院坐得满满的。

I'm gonna tell you we went Sunday and the theater was packed.

Speaker 2

我从来没见过那个影院这么多人。

I've never seen that many people in that theater before.

Speaker 2

我从来没在我们本地的Playhouse影院见过这么多人排队买票。

I've never seen people lined up buying tickets as far as they were at our local movie theater, the Playhouse.

Speaker 2

现场气氛确实很热烈,你能感觉到那种兴奋劲儿。

And it was the crowd, was some, you know, there was some excitement there.

Speaker 2

我最喜欢的一件事就是看观众的反应,网上已经有不少相关视频了。

One of my favorite things to do though is to see and well, there's been several videos of it.

Speaker 2

有个人全身上下都打扮成迈克尔·杰克逊的样子。

Somebody who was dressed head to toe in Micheal Jackson.

Speaker 2

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 2

他们穿着全套装扮,头发也弄成了那样。

They got the glove on, they got the hairdo and all that.

Speaker 2

穿着《颤栗》的夹克,走到窗前问:你想看哪部电影?

They got the thriller jacket on and they go to the window and they say, what movie do you want?

Speaker 7

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

没错。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

我想你可能会觉得

That's what think you're gonna

Speaker 2

穿成那样去看《魔鬼穿普拉达》——那部电影也超棒,顺便说一句。

wear that get up to go see the devil the devil loves wears Prada too, which is gonna be a great movie too, by the way.

Speaker 2

看得真过瘾

Enjoyed

Speaker 7

第一部

the first

Speaker 2

啊。

one.

Speaker 2

真想赶紧看看。

Can't wait to see it.

Speaker 2

不过看到这一幕还挺搞笑的。

But it's just funny to see that.

Speaker 2

我从小看着迈克尔长大,很多经历都和你相似。

So I grew up with Micheal and and I shared a lot of that with you growing up.

Speaker 2

我想这就是你渐渐成为粉丝的原因。

And I think that's why you're kinda have become a fan.

Speaker 2

但我知道不是所有人都这样。

And I know everybody's not.

Speaker 2

到后面就有点太离谱了。

It got too weird toward the end.

Speaker 2

是的

Yeah.

Speaker 2

你知道的,就是那些疯狂的杰克逊年代,下一部电影里我们会看到这些内容。

You know, the wacko jacko years, and we're we're gonna see that in the next movie.

Speaker 2

不过这部电影里他们试着解释了一些当时的情况。

But they attempt to explain some of that in this movie.

Speaker 2

好吧,先听听你的看法,然后我们再一起梳理一下家人对这件事的评价。

Well, let me let me get your thoughts on it, and then we'll kind of run down what the family's

Speaker 7

他们是怎么说的。

saying about it.

Speaker 7

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

我特别喜欢。

I I loved it.

Speaker 7

就像你说的,我是在那个年代长大的。

I like you said, I grew up.

Speaker 7

你小时候就带我接触迈克尔·杰克逊的歌,不管是去打棒球、打篮球,还是练网球,路上都在放。

You introduced me to the Micheal Jackson, like, you know, song catalog when I was very young, like, on the way to baseball practice and basketball practice and tennis, you name it.

Speaker 7

你还带回家一张DVD,好像是叫《迈克尔·杰克逊金曲精选》之类的。

And you brought home that DVD, the I think it was called Micheal Jackson's number ones or something like that.

Speaker 7

上面全是他的音乐短片。

It had all the short film music videos on it.

Speaker 7

我记得有一回放《Beat It》的时候,妈妈突然说:嘿。

And I remember, I think it's when beat it came on, mom was like, hey.

Speaker 7

这曲子是我高中啦啦队的表演编舞。

This was, you know, my cheer routine in high school.

Speaker 7

她当时在客厅里教我和凯特琳跳这支舞,就是我们住在佩尔汉姆那会儿。

And she, you know, taught me and Katelyn the the beat it dance in the living room back in when we lived in Pelham.

Speaker 7

这段回忆一直深深印在我心里。

So that was, you know, a memory that stuck with me forever.

Speaker 7

这部电影一上映,我就决定一定要去看,首映夜就去。

And then when this movie came out, I was like, I gotta see it, like, opening night.

Speaker 7

我非看不可。

I I have to see it.

Speaker 7

老实说,我真的很惊讶。

And I I was honestly very surprised.

Speaker 7

我本来就知道这电影会不错,但没想到会这么出色。

I I went into it knowing it was gonna be good, but I didn't think it was gonna be that good.

Speaker 7

贾法尔·杰克逊,我给忘了。

Jafar Jackson, I forgot.

Speaker 7

看电影的时候,我一直在看贾法尔·杰克逊,尤其是最后三十分钟,因为他长得太像迈克尔了。

I was watching Jafar Jackson at least for certain segments in the movie, but especially the last thirty minutes because he looked so much like Micheal.

Speaker 7

简直就像照镜子一样,一模一样。

Like, it was, like, almost like a one for one, like, look.

Speaker 7

我本来觉得没人能演得这么像,尤其是年轻时的迈克尔,结果他们真的演绝了。

And I didn't think anyone could top, you know, have the look like him, especially like the younger Micheal, and they nailed it.

Speaker 7

我不知道你怎么想,但我觉得他们在外形、声音和神态上都还原得特别到位。

I I don't know about you, but I thought they nailed it in terms of his look and his voice and the mannerisms.

Speaker 7

而且我很高兴他们选择了内部人来演。

And I'm glad that they kept it in house.

Speaker 7

我知道有些人希望那个在百老汇演过他的演员来担纲,觉得他们能演得更好。

I know there were some people wanting this guy that portrayed him on Broadway that thought they would do a better job.

Speaker 7

但我觉得,如果你看看贾法尔平时说话和唱歌的样子,他简直就是最接近迈克尔·杰克逊的人了,而且他还真是杰克逊家族的成员。

But I think if you stick with, you know, Jafar, if you listen to him talk and sing outside of this movie, he he's the closest thing to Micheal Jackson that we have, and he's in the Jackson family.

Speaker 7

你明白我的意思吧?

You know what I mean?

Speaker 7

不过总的来说,我特别喜欢。

But overall, I I loved it.

Speaker 7

我觉得这电影满分十分,我给十分。

I thought it was a 10 out of 10.

Speaker 7

我已经看了两遍了。

I've seen it twice now.

Speaker 7

打算再去看第三遍。

Planning on seeing it the third time.

Speaker 7

如果你还没看过,那你还在等什么?

And if you haven't seen it, what are you doing?

Speaker 7

你真得去看看。

You need to go see it.

Speaker 7

如果你喜欢八十年代和迈克尔·杰克逊,这部电影就是为你量身定做的。

If you're if you love the eighties and Micheal Jackson, it's your it's your movie.

Speaker 2

你知道吗,这可能才是这里更深层的含义。

You know, that may be the bigger underlying message here.

Speaker 2

我早就说过,真遗憾现在的孩子没在八十年代长大。

You know, I I've said for years that I weep that the kids today didn't grow up in the eighties.

Speaker 2

这部电影再次印证了这一点。

You know, movie kind of of shows that again.

Speaker 2

很明显,人类文明在八十年代就达到顶峰了,之后一路下滑。

That clearly, mankind as a civilization peaked out in the eighties and it's been downhill ever since.

Speaker 2

我的意思是,我确实这么觉得。

I mean, this is I mean, I I do.

Speaker 2

我一想起来就忍不住流泪。

I weep.

Speaker 2

我真的很感恩,能生在八十年代。

I I thank the lord I got a chance to grow up in the eighties.

Speaker 2

不管我当年干过多少傻事,都值得了。

And all the dummy things I did anyway.

Speaker 2

看这部电影的时候,我内心涌起了强烈的情感。

But it's it it just brings I felt a flood of emotion watching it.

Speaker 2

你刚才说的那番话,我觉得特别有道理。

And you you made this comment, and I thought this was a good comment.

Speaker 2

我从来没在现场看过迈克尔·杰克逊的演唱会。

I never saw Micheal Jackson in concert.

Speaker 2

一次都没看过。

Never saw him.

Speaker 7

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 2

但看完这部电影后,你感觉就像亲身去过现场一样,因为它的拍摄方式让你身临其境。

But after you saw this movie, you felt like you had been to one because it puts you in the middle of it the way it shot and the way it's done.

Speaker 2

我真后悔没亲眼看过他的演唱会。

And I I hate that I never saw him in concert.

Speaker 2

我离得最近的一次,大概是胜利巡演在亚特兰大的那场。

I probably the closest was during the victory tour in Atlanta.

Speaker 2

我表弟去看了。

My cousin went.

Speaker 2

他老婆说,我们本来也能搞到票的。

His wife, we we probably could have got in on that deal.

Speaker 2

但那时候我们有别的安排,就没能去。

But, you know, we had something we were doing.

Speaker 2

谁知道呢?

Who knows?

Speaker 2

说实话,谁也没想到他会这么早就离世,才五十岁。

I mean, none of us thought he was gonna die at 50.

Speaker 7

没有。

No.

Speaker 7

但天啊,不行。

But Oh, no.

Speaker 2

你知道吗,这部电影一下子勾起了八十年代的无数回忆,比如我最早在MTV上看到《Beat It》,不对,应该是先看到《Billie Jean》,然后《Beat It》出来了,接着是《Thriller》,再后来就是《Bad》上映前那场盛大的预热。

You know, it it's just it it really brought back just a flood of emotions from the eighties and, you know remembering seeing Beat It or I guess it was Billie Jean first that was on MTV and then Beat It came out and then you know we had Thriller and then we had the big build up for Bad coming out.

Speaker 2

你还记得那也是一个短片吗?

Remember that was a short film too?

Speaker 2

顺便说一句,韦斯利·斯奈普斯就是在这部片子里走红的。

And Wesley Snipes, by the way, got famous in that one.

Speaker 2

如果你记得的话,他后来还演过几部剧。

He went on to do a few shows if you remember.

Speaker 7

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

他确实挺不错的,状态一直很好。

He, he, yeah, he's, he's doing all right.

Speaker 7

他现在还在拍东西。

He's still doing stuff now.

Speaker 2

是啊。

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 2

他现在可是热门电视电影明星,而且——

Oh, he's still, I mean, he's a major TV movie star And

Speaker 7

他在这一行已经很久了。

He's been in the game for a while.

Speaker 2

我觉得他第一个工作就是拍《Bad》的MV。

I think that was his first gig was on the bad video.

Speaker 2

我们当时真的特别喜欢。

But we we really enjoyed it.

Speaker 2

我还发过帖子,说去看这部作品,也聊了聊一些没那么出名但你可能喜欢的迈克尔歌曲。

And I I did I put some post out about going to see it and also about some of your favorite Micheal songs that may not be as well known.

Speaker 2

我很希望你们去评论一下那些内容。

And I'd love for you to go comment on some of that.

Speaker 2

那会儿真有不少特别棒的评论。

It was just some really great comments.

Speaker 2

我差点忘了《State of Shock》,就是他和米克·贾格尔合作的那首。

I I forgot about State of Shock, which is one they did with Mick Jagger.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

那首歌是在胜利巡演期间推出的。

It was on the victory tour.

Speaker 2

以前我们装汽车音响时,都会用《State of Shock》来测试音效,因为它的低音特别出色。

We used to believe it or not, when we installed car stereos, we used to use state of shock to test the system because it had such a great baseline in it.

Speaker 2

对,没错。

It was Yeah.

Speaker 2

用来调汽车音响再合适不过了。

It it was perfect for setting up a car stereo.

Speaker 2

所以你也特别喜欢这首歌。

So but you you you loved it too.

Speaker 2

你觉得呢?

You what do you think?

Speaker 2

后来他出了那些事,还有各种指控,你有关注过吗?

Did you follow him in the later years that that you got weird and all the accusations and all that?

Speaker 2

这些事有没有影响你对他的看法?跟我说说你的想法。

Did that taint your way you looked at this or or tell me what you thought about that?

Speaker 7

其实我是在看完这部电影之后才去查了点资料,那时候各种传闻闹得沸沸扬扬,但我那时候太小了,根本记不住。说实话,第一次指控是1993年的事。

Well, I I, like, did some research after, you know, watching the movie and even, like, whenever all that was going on, I was too young to remember all the accusations going I mean, the first one happened in '93 and let's just be honest.

Speaker 7

1993年的时候,我连影子都还没呢。

I was not even a thought yet in '93.

Speaker 2

对。

Yep.

Speaker 7

那时候我还在妈妈肚子里,大概能这么形容吧。

So I was still kinda just up there in the pool of creation, I guess you could say.

Speaker 7

挺有意思的是,这部电影一出来,媒体就集体差评,非得把所有指控都翻出来,非要扒清楚他到底是个什么样的人。

And it it's funny how the media when this movie came out, it got review bombed by the media because they wanted them to cover all the allegations and show who it really was and all this.

Speaker 7

但如果你做点调查就会发现,他被调查了整整十七年,最后什么证据都没找到。

But if you do your research, they he was investigated for seventeen years, and they couldn't never find anything.

Speaker 7

当年确实有个和解协议,就是93年那件事,后来电影里给删了。

And there was, like, one payoff, you know, situation in '93 that they had to cut out of the movie.

Speaker 7

所以你要是去看这部电影,其实没什么剧透,完全不用担心。

That's why it was, you know, the if you go see it, this is not really spoiled.

Speaker 7

电影结尾来得有点突然。

It kinda ends abruptly.

Speaker 7

自从这部电影宣布要上映,就一直占据新闻头条。

And it's been, you know, in the headlines ever since this movie was announced it was coming out.

Speaker 7

他们不得不把电影砍掉一半,重拍,还付了制片方一大笔钱, turnaround 都来不及。

They had to cut the movie in half and do, like, reshoots and pay the studio, you know, a butt ton of money and turn around.

Speaker 7

现在这部电影的预算高达两亿美元,当然,票房早就轻松回本了。

And now the, you know, the budget was 200,000,000, which they've made it back, of course, with no problem.

Speaker 2

十五亿一千五百五十五万。

$1.51 55.

Speaker 2

没错。

Exactly.

Speaker 2

所以这部电影他们赚大了。

So they're way in the profit mode on this.

Speaker 7

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

他们现在可是大赚特赚。

They're they're they're in the green big time.

Speaker 7

但我也不确定。

But I I don't know.

Speaker 7

这种事吧,我挺喜欢里面的音乐。

It's one of those things where I enjoy the music.

Speaker 7

我尽量不去关注那些个人方面的八卦。

I try not to look at, you know, the personal things.

Speaker 7

我更喜欢八十年代的迈克尔,其他都算不上什么。

I'm more of a eighties Micheal fan than anything.

Speaker 7

他后来的一些作品我也挺喜欢的,比如《Bad》之后的那些。

I do like some of his, like, later stuff, like post bad.

Speaker 7

我记得那时候,真的挺难忘的。

Like, I like remember the time.

Speaker 7

我喜欢《Rock My World》,尤其是那个和克里斯·塔克合作的短片MV,太搞笑了,他演得特别夸张,各种表情动作都到位。

I like you rock my world, especially that short film music video with Chris Tucker because it's just hilarious because he's being over exaggerating with all of his, you know, and all that stuff.

Speaker 7

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

哦,

Oh,

Speaker 2

对,

yeah.

Speaker 2

他确实挺逗的。

He's funny.

Speaker 2

真的特别搞笑。

Real funny.

Speaker 7

如果你还没看过,他讲他和迈克尔之间友谊故事的那些片段也特别有意思。

And him him sharing the stories of Micheal, like, in their friendship and everything is really cool to watch too, if you haven't seen those.

Speaker 7

但我认为这并没有影响什么。

But I I don't think it really tainted anything.

Speaker 7

没错,他晚年确实有点怪。

Like, yeah, he was a bit odd in the later years.

Speaker 7

我不会否认这一点。

I'm not gonna not admit that.

Speaker 7

但说到他年轻时的创作天才,你得想想,从1979年的《Off the Wall》到1988、89年左右的《Bad》,他那时候才二十多岁。

But in terms of, like, his creative genius at a such a young age, you gotta think from off the wall, which was what in '79 to bad, which was in '88, '89 somewhere in there.

Speaker 7

他那时候才二十多岁。

He was in his twenties.

Speaker 7

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

《颤栗》太惊人了。

And thriller Incredible.

Speaker 7

《颤栗》把他所有格莱美提名都拿下了。

Thriller swept all of his Grammy nominee.

Speaker 7

我的意思是,网上到处都是他抱着奖杯的照片,你肯定在电影里也见过。

I mean, he there's literally pictures of him, and you've probably seen it even in the movie.

Speaker 7

大家总在提这事,但他那时候怀里抱满了格莱美奖杯。

They talk about it, but he's, like, arms full with Grammys

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

才23岁啊。

At 23 years old.

Speaker 7

而且它至今仍是史上销量最高的专辑。

That's and it's still the most sold album ever.

Speaker 7

销量已经两千五百万张了,还在涨。

It's like 25,000,000 and counting.

Speaker 7

事实上,你现在去Spotify和Apple Music上看,排名第一的流媒体专辑还是它。

In fact, it's like Have you seen number one streaming album on on Spotify and Apple Music right now.

Speaker 2

就是亨特,就只是他。

It's just Hunter, it's that.

Speaker 2

整整四十三年过去了。

One, forty three years later.

Speaker 7

这难道不让人震惊吗?

That's it's Is that crazy?

Speaker 7

这部电影上映之前,我们就想提出这个观点。

Were trying to make the claim before this movie came out.

Speaker 7

有人说泰勒·斯威夫特已经超越了迈克尔·杰克逊,我才不信呢。

It's like Taylor Swift has eclipsed what Micheal Jack I'm like, no.

Speaker 7

恰恰相反,这部电影恰恰证明了迈克尔·杰克逊是独一无二的,以后再也不会有谁像他了。

Like, if anything, this movie has shown that Micheal Jackson is in a league of his own, and there will be no one like him ever ever.

Speaker 7

我的意思是,我觉得没人能真正超越他。

I mean, I don't think it'll ever be touched.

Speaker 2

你刚才提到了贾法尔。

You you mentioned Jafar.

Speaker 2

他在这件事上做得太出色了。

He did an incredible job on this.

Speaker 2

如果他拿不到好几个表演类奖项——奥斯卡那些——那干脆别办颁奖礼了,因为他简直成了迈克尔·杰克逊本人。

If he doesn't win, and I don't even know what all the acting awards Oscars and, you know, all that, if he doesn't win a bunch of those, they need to quit the award because he became Micheal Jackson.

Speaker 2

这简直不可思议。

Mean it's unreal.

Speaker 2

我再问你个事,我觉得这事挺奇怪的,你总得看背后的利益关系,但我不清楚谁被拉进了团队,谁又被排除在外,这些我都不太清楚。

Now let me ask you this too because I find this strange and you always have to follow the money and I don't know who all got cut in, who got cut out, you know, I don't know all that.

Speaker 2

看他家人,他妈妈在这部片子里出镜很多,但说实话,形象不太正面,因为她纵容乔做了太多事。

Looking at his family, his mother, who is in this movie prominently, and really, I don't think shown in the best light because she's let Joe get away with so much.

Speaker 2

她自己倒是很享受。

She loved it.

Speaker 2

她说这部电影让她仿佛回到了过去。

She said it put her back there.

Speaker 2

她说,简直就跟当时一模一样。

She said it was just like it was.

Speaker 2

我的意思是,她对这部电影的评价简直再好不过了。

I mean, she couldn't be more complimentary on it.

Speaker 2

接着就是珍妮特,她完全不想沾边。

Then you have Janet that didn't want anything to do with it.

Speaker 2

我不确定是不是因为电影里把她爸爸刻画得太坏了。

And I don't know if that's because her dad was painted so negatively in it.

Speaker 2

乔·杰克逊,没错,你提到的正是杰克。

Joe Jackson, which he was, I mean, you talking about Jack.

Speaker 7

你讲的是另一个在电影里表现特别出色的演员。

You're talking about, you're talking about another guy that did really good in the movie.

Speaker 7

扮演乔·杰克逊的科尔曼·多明戈,他很可能拿下最佳男配角。

Coleman Domingo that played Joe Jackson was he will probably win supporting actor

Speaker 2

唱歌。

Sing.

Speaker 7

从这个角度来说。

Out of this.

Speaker 2

因为迈克尔就是这样。

Because he Michael.

Speaker 7

唱。

Sing.

Speaker 7

他就像是在告诉你该怎么想。

Just like he's like, I I'll tell you what to think.

Speaker 7

这就像是。

It's like

Speaker 2

是啊。

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 7

把杰克逊家族品牌比作可口可乐?根本不是这么回事。

Calling the Jackson brand the Coca Cola of it's like, no.

Speaker 7

根本不是。

No.

Speaker 7

不行。

No.

Speaker 7

迈克尔才是你的可口可乐。

Michael is your Coca Cola.

Speaker 7

迈克尔是家里的顶梁柱。

Micheal is your breadwinner.

Speaker 2

以前在《生活色彩》里出现过的那个 guy,叫大卫·艾伦·格里尔,是这个人吗?

The guy on used to be in in living color, David Allen Greer, is that his name?

Speaker 2

那个喜剧演员?

The comedian?

Speaker 2

他演过

He did

Speaker 7

天哪。

Oh, lord.

Speaker 2

我不清楚。

I don't know.

Speaker 2

他演过一个小品。

He did a skit.

Speaker 2

他有个常驻角色叫乔·杰克逊,特别搞笑。

He he had an ongoing character where he was Joe Jackson, and it was the funniest thing.

Speaker 2

所以我们现在要唱歌跳舞了,Michael。

That that that's where we get to sing, dance, Micheal.

Speaker 7

唱歌跳舞。

Sing, dance.

Speaker 2

你知道吗,他那造型简直绝了。

You know, I mean, he he nailed the look.

Speaker 2

我的天啊。

The I mean, oh my gosh.

Speaker 2

希望我没记错他的名字。

I hope that's his name.

Speaker 2

我事先没去查过。

I I didn't look it up ahead of time.

Speaker 2

我本该再仔细核对一下的。

I should've double checked.

Speaker 2

但简直太像了。

But it is so dead on.

Speaker 2

然后你还有他的儿子普林斯,他特别喜欢。

And so then you had Prince, his son, who loved it.

Speaker 2

他说:这就是我爸爸。

He said this was my dad.

Speaker 2

这就是我小时候看到的样子。

This is what I saw growing up.

Speaker 2

你知道,他真的很喜欢。

I this is you know, he loved it.

Speaker 2

然后还有他的女儿巴黎,她特别讨厌。

Then you had Paris, his daughter, who hated it.

Speaker 2

完全不想沾边。

Didn't want anything to do with it.

Speaker 2

我不明白女孩们怎么了。

I don't know what it is with the girls.

Speaker 2

她们一直持反对态度。

They they were they were against

Speaker 7

全都反对。

it all.

Speaker 7

我后来找到一篇文章。

So I I found, like, an article.

Speaker 7

她生气的原因是,她不喜欢约翰·布林克或布林库姆——不管那人叫什么——迈克尔最后聘来当经理的那个人。

The reason why she's mad about it because she does not like John Brinker or Brinkum, whatever his name is, the guy that Micheal ended up hiring as his manager Right.

Speaker 7

或者说是经纪人吧。

Or agent, I guess.

Speaker 7

她觉得那人就是想趁机大捞一笔。

And she thought that he was trying to, like, cash in big.

Speaker 7

而且她觉得,这部电影纯粹是迎合爸爸粉丝们的某种幻想。

And, you know, she was like, this movie caters to a specific fantasy of, you know, dad's fan base and everything.

Speaker 7

但我觉得,应该为他这一面喝彩。

But my thing is, like, celebrate that part of him.

Speaker 1

你知道的。

You know

Speaker 2

我说的意思你懂吧?

what I mean?

Speaker 7

第二部会特别狠。

The the part two is gonna be brutal.

Speaker 7

音乐肯定不错,但第二部真的会很虐。

Like, the music is gonna be good, but part two is gonna be brutal.

Speaker 7

大家就是这样,虽然期待,但一想就头疼。

That's what people are like, you know, they're excited, but it's like, oh, crap.

Speaker 7

你明白我的意思吧?

You know what I mean?

Speaker 2

他们肯定会把负面的部分放大。

They're gonna they're gonna cover the negative.

Speaker 2

他们会重点讲Lisa Ann Marie那段时期,还有类似的各种事情。

They're gonna cover the, you know, the Lisa Ann Marie time, all that kind of stuff.

Speaker 2

好了,咱们聊聊之前说过的几件事,我最近才了解到一些。

Alright, here's a couple of things we were talking about and I've learned some of these.

Speaker 2

你可能知道,也可能不知道。

You may know or may not.

Speaker 2

你知道吗?《Thriller》这首歌原本叫《Starlight》,迈克尔一开始唱的是这个版本,后来才改成了《Thriller》。

Did you know the song Thriller was originally called Starlight and that Micheal actually sung that and then went back and changed it to be Thriller?

Speaker 7

我知道这件事。

I did know that.

Speaker 7

对。

Yes.

Speaker 2

我前几天才知道,不过我确实看过他唱《Starlight》的片段。

I did not know that to the other day, but I did see a clip of him singing Starlight.

Speaker 2

还有个小趣闻,想说说看。

One of the other little tidbits of information, wanna be starting something.

Speaker 2

我另一首特别喜欢的歌。

One of my other favorite songs.

Speaker 2

这首歌本来是写给拉托亚的。

That was actually written for La Toya.

Speaker 2

她

She

Speaker 7

电影里有她演唱的片段。

recorded It was in the movie.

Speaker 7

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

她确实录过这首歌。

She recorded it.

Speaker 7

电影里也展现了这一幕。

Depicted in the movie.

Speaker 2

这首歌讲的是他姐妹和他兄弟的老婆们关系不和。

And it was the song was about his sisters not getting along with his brother's wives.

Speaker 2

而且你知道吗,如果你去仔细看歌词,他确实唱了‘我是个蔬菜’。

And, you know, if you go look at the words, he does say in it, I'm a vegetable.

Speaker 2

他好几次都唱了‘我是个蔬菜’。

I'm a vegetable several times.

Speaker 2

这确实是歌词的一部分。

That is that's part of the lyrics.

Speaker 7

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

而且

And

Speaker 2

这首歌的结尾部分,也就是争议很大的那句‘Manasana Mako Sa’。

the end of the song, which was much debated, Manasana Mako Sa.

Speaker 2

那其实是非洲某种语言里‘妈妈最懂’的意思。

That that is actually it's it's what is it's one of the African languages for mom knows best.

Speaker 2

妈妈最懂。

Mama knows best.

Speaker 2

我不确定是不是祖鲁语,还是别的什么语言。

I don't know if it's Zulu or something.

Speaker 2

那是非洲的一种语言,他反反复复地唱这一句。

What what is one of the far it's one of the languages in Africa, and he just repeated that over and over.

Speaker 2

我不知道为什么,但这首歌确实特别棒。

Now I I don't know why, but it it was, you know, made a great song.

Speaker 2

这点我同意。

I'll say that.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

我也喜欢电影里的这一段。

It I like that part of the movie too.

Speaker 7

这不算剧透,但有个场景是他睡不着,脑子里想法太多,一直在说——我有太多点子了。

This isn't really a spoiler, but there's, a certain scene where he's, you know, he can't sleep because he's got so many ideas and he's, you know, he he says it consistently, at least in the earlier part of the movie because I have so many ideas.

Speaker 7

我得赶紧把它们记下来。

I gotta get them out.

Speaker 7

而且他是个

And he's a

Speaker 2

别逗了

Stop teasing

Speaker 7

杰尔梅因,别拿我开玩笑了。

me, Jermaine.

Speaker 7

他会走到,你知道的,他们家里那个小录音棚去。

He'll, like, walk down, you know, to his little they have, like, a little recording studio in their house.

Speaker 7

然后他就拿着便签本和卡片,把它们贴在公告板上之类的,各种操作都有。

And he's, like, writing down on notepads and note cards and putting them on, you know, like a bulletin board, you know, and all that.

Speaker 7

其中一样东西就是被他贴上去的。

And that's one of the things that he puts on there.

Speaker 7

因为他就是先想想,写下来,再想想,再写下来。

Cause he's like, he, you know, thinks about it, writes it down, thinks about it, writes it down.

Speaker 7

我真希望电影能在这方面再深入挖掘一点。

And it, it, I wish they would've gone a little bit deeper into that.

Speaker 7

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

但我就是喜欢那种感觉,每当他们为《颤栗》专辑构思点子的时候,就他和昆西·琼斯两个人坐在一起。

But I just liked the, the overall, like whenever they were coming up with ideas for the thriller album, it was just him and Quincy Jones whenever they're sitting there.

Speaker 7

他说,CBS想让他上封面,或者想把专辑命名为《迈克尔》。

And he goes, you know, CBS wants you to be on the cover of the or wants the album to be called Micheal.

Speaker 7

他却说,不行。

And he goes, no.

Speaker 7

太自我中心了。

It's too egocentric.

Speaker 7

对方说,可你不是都上封面了吗?

He goes, well, you're on the cover of the album.

Speaker 7

你唱的可是全部歌曲。

You're singing all the songs.

Speaker 7

他说,别拿玩笑开玩笑了。

He goes, don't joke a joker.

Speaker 7

或者类似的事,让我笑出了声。

Or something like and it made me laugh.

Speaker 7

然后整个过渡过程,《惊悚》这张专辑真的很棒。

And then the whole transition, the thriller was really cool.

Speaker 7

当他终于把事情串起来的时候,就说:对,就叫这个名字。

When he finally puts, you know, two and two together, he's like, that's what we're gonna call it.

Speaker 7

因为他当时特别迷八十年代的恐怖片。

Cause he was obsessed with the horror movies in the eighties.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

他还为此挨了不少批评。

Thought he thought some flack about it too.

Speaker 2

连他妈妈都说了他几句,后来他们又改回来了。

Even his mom gave him some flack and they went back.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

依我记忆,片头加了个小提示。

Best I remember they added or, you know, the little, the little disclaimer at the beginning.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

标题卡上写着。

The title card

Speaker 7

《惊悚》。

of thriller.

Speaker 7

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

上面说他不信超自然,也不跟那类事沾边。

It says he doesn't believe in the occult and has no association with that.

Speaker 7

没错。

Right.

Speaker 7

我倒希望他们能提一提这事,因为他好像就因为这个被教会开除了。

And I wish they would have talked about that because he got, I think, booted out of the church for that.

Speaker 7

我很有把握。

I'm pretty sure.

Speaker 7

那又怎样?

So what

Speaker 2

后来那段时期他怎么样?

was in the latter days?

Speaker 2

他不是后期圣徒。

He wasn't a latter day Saint.

Speaker 2

他是

He was

Speaker 7

耶和华见证人。

what was Jehovah's Witness.

Speaker 2

耶和华见证人。

Jehovah's Witness.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

不过我觉得他创作音乐的方式特别有意思,因为我自己一点音乐天赋都没有。

So but I I did think part that was the the way he went about forming the music, writing the music, I thought was very interesting because I had no musical talent.

Speaker 2

所以我一直很佩服那些能写音乐的人。

So people who write music, I've always admired their ability to do that.

Speaker 2

我觉得这真的挺有意思的。

And I thought that was very interesting.

Speaker 2

我很喜欢看别人是怎么做的,因为每个人把音乐拼在一起的方式都不太一样。

I love seeing how it because everybody does a little different how you put it all together.

Speaker 2

我觉得这特别酷。

And I just thought that was super cool.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

还有另一点,我想跟你说说。

And I've And the other part, let me me say this to you.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

另一点是,如果你没看过这部电影,你会看到他泡在泳池里漂着,琢磨着歌曲,说他在等上帝赐给他一首歌。

The other part how when he was he he if you haven't seen the movie you'll see this but he's he's floating around in a pool thinking about songs and he says he's waiting for God to give him a song.

Speaker 2

我觉得这体现了他对上帝的敬畏,因为他明白上帝才是创造者,是所有才华的源头。

I think that showed part of his reverence for God in that he realized God was the creator and the giver of all talent.

Speaker 2

他只是个通道,让灵感从他身上流过而已。

And that he simply was a, you know, a vessel that that was flowing through.

Speaker 2

我觉得这很深刻,因为我觉得这就是真相。

I thought that was interesting because I I think that's the truth.

Speaker 2

而且这种态度确实应该被表现出来。

And I think that needs to be portrayed in that.

Speaker 7

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

他年轻时,摩城唱片的人也跟他说过:你有上帝赐予的天赋。

And he also had those people when he was younger, the Motown people were like, yeah, you have God given talent.

Speaker 7

希望你能明白这一点。

I hope you realize that.

Speaker 7

你知道吗,他小时候就有人跟他说,这是上帝赐予的天赋。

You know, even at a young age, people were telling him it's God given talent.

Speaker 7

他真的听进去了,也完全接受了这一点。

He, you know, fully listened and accepted that.

Speaker 7

你想想看,当摩城唱片公司和录音棚的人不在的时候,他背后经历的是什么——他父亲虐待他,但有些事终究是过了头。

And, you know, you just think back at, like, what was going on behind the scenes, you know, when the Motown and the studio people weren't around, he was getting abused by his father, you know, but at the same time, there's a there's a point where it becomes too much.

Speaker 7

说实话,乔·杰克逊在逼迫孩子们方面确实是个天才,逼到几乎算得上虐待的地步。

Like, he honestly, Joe Jackson was a genius in terms of, like, you know, working them to the point of, you know, abuse.

Speaker 7

但迈克尔不一样,只要他出一点错,乔就打他,纯粹就是想打。

But Micheal specifically, he would you know, anytime Micheal would mess up, he did beat Micheal just because.

Speaker 7

管教孩子和为了发泄情绪而打孩子,这中间是有区别的。

And there's a difference between spanking your child to, you know, get a point across and then and then spanking your child because you just feel like it.

Speaker 7

你懂我的意思吧?

You know what I mean?

Speaker 7

还老叫他大鼻子。

And then calling him big nose.

Speaker 7

这正是他们提到这一点的原因,你知道,他为什么会经历那么多外貌上的变化——因为他爸爸老拿他的鼻子开玩笑,类似的事情多了去了。

Because that's part of the reason they even touch on that, you know, why he goes through so many, you know, facial, you know, changes because he you know, his dad made fun of him because of his nose and stuff like that.

Speaker 2

他那时候

And he was

Speaker 7

最终变得非常愤怒。

ultimately mad.

Speaker 7

他根本没有童年。

He had no childhood.

Speaker 2

他确实没有童年。

You know, he had no childhood.

Speaker 2

他最好的朋友竟是一只猴子。

And, you know, his best friend was a monkey.

Speaker 2

我的意思是,你懂的,确实如此。

So, I mean, you know, you you yeah.

Speaker 2

我一直觉得特别有意思的是,他明明这么有天赋,而且我很高兴他们写《Jam》这首歌的时候,让他和迈克尔·乔丹合作了。

I mean, it's, you know, too, it was always interesting to me how he was so talented in that, but and I'm glad they did this when they wrote the song Jam, and he did it with Micheal Jordan.

Speaker 2

我的意思是,你可是有两位终极的MJ啊。

I mean, you had the two ultimate MJs.

Speaker 2

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 2

迈克尔·杰克逊想教可能史上最强的运动员怎么跳舞,可他自己根本不会跳。

So you had Micheal Jackson trying to show possibly the greatest athlete ever to walk the face of the earth how to And he and he was not a good dancer.

Speaker 2

而迈克尔·乔丹呢,想教迈克尔·杰克逊怎么运球投篮,他那动作笨拙得简直...

And then you had Micheal Jordan trying to show Micheal Jackson who could move like no human has ever moved how to shoot basketball, and he looked as awkward as you could

Speaker 7

不能再笨了。

be.

Speaker 7

哎呀。

Oh,

Speaker 2

篮球。

basketball.

Speaker 2

迈克尔根本没打过球,这很明显。

Micheal doesn't doesn't play because he he obviously never played.

Speaker 2

你懂的吧。

You know?

Speaker 2

我的意思是,他从来没打过篮球。

I mean, he never shot a basketball.

Speaker 2

但你可以

But you can

Speaker 7

那种场景其实也挺让人难过的。

have kind of a that was kind of a sad scene too.

Speaker 7

确实如此。

It was.

Speaker 7

挺孤单的,因为他去玩具店,是为儿童医院的孩子们买礼物。

Lonely it was because he was like he, like, you know, they go to the toy store because he was buying all those toys for those kids in children's hospital.

Speaker 7

他跟孩子们说:看,我买了扭扭乐。

He goes, guys, look, I got twister.

Speaker 7

你们想玩吗?

Y'all wanna play?

Speaker 7

他们就说:‘算了吧,老兄。’

And they're like, nah, man.

Speaker 7

他说:‘你们真没劲。’

He's like, y'all are no fun.

Speaker 7

你能看出来他心里想:‘哎呀,真遗憾。’

You could tell he was like, well, dang.

Speaker 7

他说:‘大家都长大了。’

He's like, everyone's growing up.

Speaker 2

我理解他想做自己的事。

I I understand him wanting to do his own thing.

Speaker 2

没错。

Okay.

Speaker 2

但从粉丝的角度来说,我特别喜欢他们全体上台的时候,因为根本猜不到接下来会发生什么。

But I will tell you from a fan standpoint, I loved it when all of them were on stage because you didn't know what was going to happen.

Speaker 2

那几个兄弟,真是酷到极致了。

And the brothers, they were as cool as you come.

Speaker 2

你知道的,他们背后还有专门的舞步设计。

You know, they had the dance step behind it.

Speaker 2

我是说,无论是《年轻》巡演还是《胜利》巡演。

I mean, Young or Victory Tour.

Speaker 2

他们全体登台的时候,我特别喜欢。

I loved it when all of them were out there.

Speaker 2

我真的很喜欢那种感觉。

I love that.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

乔·杰克逊简直太过分了,都算得上是虐待了。

Joe Jackson was clearly over the top to the point of abusive.

Speaker 2

明白吧?

Okay?

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

我觉得凯瑟琳早就该介入,直接制止这一切了。

And I think Katherine should have stepped in a lot earlier and put an end to that.

Speaker 7

她确实点过他几次,但那会儿的环境和现在不一样,情况不一样。

She called him out a couple of times, but it was just a different time than it was just how it was.

Speaker 7

真的吗。

Wow.

Speaker 2

他啊,

He, you

Speaker 7

你知道,他本身就很吓人,个子高大,我都没意识到他那么高。

know, he was also very, very, very, you know, intimidating and towering and he I don't realize how tall he was.

Speaker 2

而且你看他那样子,简直就像魔鬼一样。

And and that, you know how much he looked like the devil.

Speaker 7

我的意思是,确实。

I mean Yeah.

Speaker 7

太真实了。

Really.

Speaker 7

真的。

Really.

Speaker 7

我的意思是,他那双眼睛,科尔曼·多明戈把那个角色演绝了。

I mean, he just his eyes are he did the Coleman Domingo killed that role.

Speaker 7

他真的把乔·杰克逊这个人物演活了,简直让人惊叹。

He he he he literally he embodied Joe Jackson to the point of, like, wow.

Speaker 7

我们整个剧院的人,每次他一出现在屏幕上,或者一开口,就感觉他就是那个语气:‘行,你出个个人专辑吧,但你得去给你兄弟们巡演。’

Like, our whole theater, anytime he would pop up on screen or say something, like, he was like, yeah, I'll let you do that solo album, you know, but I need you to tour your brothers.

Speaker 7

所有人都惊呆了。

And everyone's like, oh my god.

Speaker 7

天哪,太震撼了。

Like, oh my god.

Speaker 7

你懂的吧?

You know?

Speaker 7

全场都是倒吸冷气的声音。

Was just like moans and moans.

Speaker 2

对迈克尔来说,这并不好。

For Micheal, it was negative.

Speaker 2

但当我听说他要带兄弟们一起拍《胜利》时,我觉得太棒了。

But see when I heard he was going to bring his brothers back along to do victory, I thought this is great.

Speaker 2

我又能看到整个团队了。

I get to see the whole crew again.

Speaker 2

我记得小时候,每到周六早上,都会看他们的动画片,跟着他们一起长大。

Remember I grew up with the whole bunch, watching the cartoons and and all of that on Saturday morning.

Speaker 2

总之,亨特,谢谢你分享这些。

So anyway, Hunter, thank you for your input.

Speaker 2

你对这事还有什么别的想法吗?

Any closing thoughts on it?

Speaker 7

我很高兴你终于看了。

I I'm just glad you got to see it.

Speaker 7

每次我给你看预告片,你都说:‘哦,我一定要看。’

Because you, you know, whenever I showed you the trailer, you were like, oh yeah, I gotta see it.

Speaker 7

妈妈还说,你爸当时经历了一整套复杂的情绪。

And, you know, mom was saying like, yeah, your dad experienced a full range of emotions.

Speaker 7

然后你就说,感觉好像又回到了那时候。

And then you're like, yeah, feel like I was back there again.

Speaker 7

我觉得整部电影里最打动我的场景,就是他把所有帮派成员都召集起来那段——看完新闻后,他把大家聚到一起。

And just, you know, me seeing it seem like my favorite scene in the whole movie is beat it whenever he gets all the gang members, you know, you know, together after seeing all that on the news and everything.

Speaker 7

他们还完整地跳起了《Beat It》的舞蹈。

And, you know, they're doing the whole beat it routine.

Speaker 7

这让我想起以前,和你还有妈妈一起坐在客厅里,妈妈给我们——我和凯特琳——播放音乐视频,教我们跳《Beat It》的舞步。

It brought back memories of, you know, being in the living room with you and mom and mom showing us, you know, me and Katelyn the beat it dance and us learning that, you know, with the music video playing in the background and everything.

Speaker 7

那真的特别棒。

And it was really cool.

Speaker 7

不过在咱们休息之前,我赶紧问一句。

But, like, what just I just real quick before we, you know, go to break here.

Speaker 7

整部电影里,你最喜欢哪个部分?

What was your favorite part of the whole movie?

Speaker 2

我其实一直在想这个问题,提前准备怎么回答,因为我知道迟早会提到这个话题。

You know, I I was trying to think about that to answer that question in advance because I knew that that topic would come up.

Speaker 2

让我想想。

Let me Mhmm.

Speaker 2

我说一下吧。

Let me say this.

Speaker 2

有一刻我真想站起来跳舞。

I, at one point, wanted to jump up and dance.

Speaker 2

我当时在座位上就已经跟着扭起来了,整个影院差不多都是这样。

I was already dancing in my seat as was most of the theater.

Speaker 2

嗯,没错。

Okay.

Speaker 2

我也是。

Same.

Speaker 7

我也是。

Same.

Speaker 7

刻薄啊,

Mean,

Speaker 2

我当时在做侧向的月球漫步。

I was doing the sideways moonwalk.

Speaker 2

你懂我的意思吧?

You know what I mean?

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

我现在是个挺容易动感情的人,尤其是年纪大了点,随时可能哭出来。

And and and I, you know, I I am kind of an emotional person now, especially a little older, and I'll ball on you in a minute.

Speaker 2

不过有时候我情绪激动得都快赶上格伦·贝克了,但大多数电影我真不哭。

But I mean, I'm almost to Glenn Beck level at times, but most movies I don't cry in.

Speaker 2

好。

Okay.

Speaker 2

我哭都是因为现实生活里的事,比如缴税这种麻烦事。

I cry about real life things, you know, you got to deal with like taxes.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

但有那么一刻,我在电影里哭了,而且肯定不是你猜的那种时候。

But I got I teared up at one point in the movie and you're not you're it's not gonna be when you think that it would.

Speaker 2

你大概以为是迈克尔被皮带打的时候吧?

You you probably think it's when Micheal was getting a spanking with a belt or something.

Speaker 2

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 7

对。

Right.

Speaker 7

对。

Right.

Speaker 2

不是。

No.

Speaker 2

是那个《Beat It》的MV,当他们走上舞台,和舞者们一起排练,第一次做那个后滑动作——就是他们甩肩膀的那个瞬间——我一下子就破防了。那时候我突然想起来,自己年轻时看这个视频有多感动,我们家没有MTV,只能去别人家看。

It's when the Beat It video, when they get on that stage with those dancers and they start practicing and the first time they do that little slide backwards you know where they pull their shoulders back yeah I thought it just hit me it's it's we're there again You know, I remember watching that and having such emotion when I was a teenager, you know, going to somebody's house that had MTV because we didn't have it.

Speaker 2

我只好跑去别的地方看。

I had to go watch it somewhere else.

Speaker 2

看到那个动作,一下子勾起了回忆。

And seeing that move, it just brought back.

Speaker 2

我感觉自己又回到了16岁。

I mean, I felt like I was 16 again.

Speaker 2

当他们全速冲上去,他穿上夹克的那一刻,我差点哭出来,看着他跳《Beat It》,真的忍不住。

And I got teared up when they, you know, they went full speed and he got the jacket on and I thought, man, I'm about to ball here watching him do beat it.

Speaker 2

你懂的。

You know?

Speaker 7

就是他,

When he yeah.

Speaker 7

当他提到要带夹克过来的时候,我就想,哦,明白了。

When he when he said, I have an idea bringing my jacket, you know, I'm thinking, okay.

Speaker 7

他们马上就要,你知道的,直接进入歌曲部分了。

They're well, they're about to just, you know, do the, you know, go into the song right here.

Speaker 7

但当他开始自由发挥,做自己的东西时,那才是真的炸了。

But it was when he kind of freelanced and did his own thing.

Speaker 7

我当时就惊了。

I And was like, holy crap.

Speaker 7

他长得真像他叔叔。

He looks like his uncle.

Speaker 7

就是那种感觉。

Like that.

Speaker 7

然后他笑着问:你们觉得怎么样?

Like and then he was laughing and saying, what did y'all think?

Speaker 7

我也跟着问:你们觉得怎么样?

And I'm like, what do y'all think?

Speaker 7

你听听现场的反应。

Listen to the room.

Speaker 7

这不就是吗?

Like, what?

Speaker 7

天哪。

Oh my gosh.

Speaker 7

他老是问‘那感觉怎么样’,这事儿真逗。

It it it's so funny how he was, like, always asking, like, how was that?

Speaker 7

我还没来得及反应过来。

I wasn't on my toes long enough.

Speaker 7

老兄,你简直完美无缺。

I and it's like, dude, you're flawless.

Speaker 7

你在说什么啊?

What are you talking about?

Speaker 7

这真的太离谱了。

It it's just crazy.

Speaker 7

每次他在录音棚里,不管是小时候还是跳脱不羁的时候,大家都会说‘别动脚’,这都让我忍不住笑出来。

And it made me laugh too real quick whenever he would be in a studio, whether he was a kid or when he was doing off the wall, they're like, hey, keep your feet still.

Speaker 2

我知道。

Oh, I know.

Speaker 7

但他还是动来动去,脚也停不下来。

And he would still and he'd still move feet and everything.

Speaker 7

你知道吗?

And he was you know?

Speaker 7

还有那个《Don't Stop Till You Get Enough》的片段,那也是我最爱的之一。

And then that scene where they're doing don't stop till you get enough, which was also one of my favorites.

Speaker 7

昆西·琼斯在那儿点头,一副‘行了,有感觉了’的样子。

When Quincy Jones is, like, you know, bobbing his head, like, okay.

Speaker 7

我们这次真抓到东西了。

We have something here.

Speaker 7

你能感觉到迈克尔终于松了一口气,我自由了。

And you can tell Micheal's, like, finally, I'm free.

Speaker 7

我可以做我自己了。

I can do my own thing.

Speaker 2

他在录音棚里唱的时候,背景音乐慢慢加进来,你一听就明白了。

When did he in the vocal booth and they start bringing in the background music, mixing it in, and you hear it.

Speaker 8

你一开始

You start

Speaker 1

声音就逐渐饱满起来。

你知道我最喜欢巴夫洛鸡翅的一点是什么吗?

You know one thing I love about Buffalo Wild Wings?

Speaker 11

你可以选择他们26种酱料或干腌料中的任意一种来点鸡翅,外带或外卖都行。

You can get wings with any of their 26 sauces and dry rubs for takeout and delivery.

Speaker 11

这就相当于把整个B-Dubs直接搬回家了,可惜你做不到。

That's like bringing an entire b dubs home with you, which you can't do.

Speaker 11

我试过。

I tried.

Speaker 11

我拆了好几面墙,结果却被通知停工,因为我的房子没申请做体育酒吧的资质。

I've knocked down so many walls, only to then be told to halt construction because I'm not zoned to be a sports bar.

Speaker 11

现在看起来就像个大凉棚之类的,毕竟没几面墙了。

Kinda just looks like a big pergola or something because of the lack of walls.

Speaker 11

好在这些26种酱料和干腌料至少能外带。

At least these 26 sauces and dry rubs are available to go.

Speaker 11

Buffalo Wild Wings,来吧,这才是真正的体育酒吧。

Buffalo Wild Wings, let's go sports bar.

Speaker 2

Speaker 9

我出去了。

I was.

Speaker 9

我和哈里斯去了弗吉尼亚金杯赛。

Harris and I went to the Virginia Gold Cup.

Speaker 9

那是个小型赛马活动,规模没法跟肯塔基德比那种相比,但性质差不多,就是一场小规模的赛马。

It's like a little not anywhere near as big as the, like, Kentucky Derby or anything like that, but kind of along those same lines, a little horse race.

Speaker 9

挺有意思的。

It was fun.

Speaker 2

我们现在在聊你的男朋友哈里斯。

Now we're talking about your boyfriend, Harris.

Speaker 9

是的。
