嗨,欢迎回到Eat Your Crust播客。

Hi, welcome back to Eat Your Crust Podcast.

Speaker 0

我是Jeesoo。

I'm Jeesoo.

Speaker 1

我是Crystal。

And I'm Crystal.

Speaker 0

好,今天这期节目我们来做一次自我评估。

All right, so today we have a self-evaluation type of episode.

Speaker 0

我觉得这期会很有意思,因为我们想坐下来好好反思一下自己的心理健康状况,也许给自己打个分。

And I think this would be a very interesting one because we wanted to sit down and reflect on how our mental health has been, maybe give ourselves a little bit of a grade.

Speaker 0

当然,心理健康涵盖了很多方面,我们想简化一下打分的方式。

Obviously, mental health spans across a lot of different things, and we wanted to pare down the way that we do the grading.

Speaker 0

我们找出了心理健康的五个维度,然后会逐一反思自己在每个维度上的表现。

We found five different spheres of mental health, and we'll reflect on how we're doing in each of those spheres.

Speaker 0

在开始之前,先简单介绍一下,心理健康的五个维度是什么呢?

To give a little bit of context before we jump into it, what are the five spheres of mental health?

Speaker 1

我不知道。

I don't know.

Speaker 1

你告诉我吧。

You tell me.

Speaker 0

心理健康的五个方面分别是:情感方面,也就是你的感受如何。

The five spheres of mental health are the emotional sphere, how you are feeling.

Speaker 0

心理和思维方面,也就是你能不能做出明智的决定,或者能不能掌控自己的想法。

The psychological and mental sphere, making sound decisions or being in control of your thoughts.

Speaker 0

身体方面,也就是你身体上是否感觉健康,有没有给身体提供足够的营养。

The physical sphere, so are you physically feeling healthy and getting proper nutrition for your body?

Speaker 0

社交和人际关系方面,看看你的社交关系是否良好,和别人的关系是否健康。

The social and relational sphere, seeing if your social connections are doing well and if your connections with them are healthy.

Speaker 0

还有精神方面,你觉得自己的人生有意义吗?

And the spiritual sphere, do you feel like you have meaning in your life?

Speaker 1

哇,真的吗。

Oh, wow.

Speaker 1

为什么我给自己打分的时候有点紧张呢?

Why am I kind of nervous to grade myself?

Speaker 0

我也是,有点。

Low-key same.

Speaker 0

那我们就从情绪层面开始吧。

But let's kick this off with the emotional sphere.

Speaker 0

我觉得通常一提到心理健康,大家首先想到的就是情绪、感受,还有面对压力时的反应。

I feel like commonly when you think about mental health, your emotions and how you're feeling, how you're responding to stress are kind of at the top of everyone's mind.

Speaker 0

所以Crystal,你给情绪层面打几分?

So Crystal, how would you grade yourself in the emotional sphere?

Speaker 1

说实话,兄弟,最近状态不太好。

Dude, I'm going to be honest, it's not doing so hot lately.

Speaker 0

哎呀,不会吧。

Oh, no.

Speaker 1

我觉得总体来说,最近情绪可能有点低落。

I think overall, maybe my emotions have been a little low lately.

Speaker 1

但我觉得评分的一部分是看你如何应对这些情绪。

But I guess part of the grade is how you respond to that.

Speaker 1

这一点我也不确定自己做得怎么样。

Which I'm also not sure is great.

Speaker 1

但我觉得我的基本应对方式就是继续往前走,硬撑过去吧。

But I think my baseline response is to just continue and kind of get through it, I guess.

Speaker 1

我觉得当你处于悲伤或情绪低落的时期,有时候最简单的事情都变得很难做,尤其是那些以前你可能根本没怎么在意的事情,现在你会想,"天哪。

I feel like when you're in a period of sadness or feeling a little more down, sometimes even the simplest things are pretty hard to do, especially things that maybe you didn't even think that much about before, and then now you're like, "Oh, shit.

Speaker 1

我真的需要做这个吗?"

Do I really need to do this?"

Speaker 1

对我来说,其中一件事就是准备睡觉。

For me, one of those is getting ready for sleep.

Speaker 0

哦,比如拖延洗澡或者换衣服,或者——

Oh, like pushing off a shower or changing or-

Speaker 0

……用牙线清洁牙齿之类的。

... flossing, that kind of stuff.

Speaker 1

为什么我们睡前有那么多事情要做?

Why do we have so many things that we need to do before we sleep?

Speaker 1

得洗脸、刷牙,还没洗澡的话还得洗澡,之后还要吹干头发,给自己倒杯水,就像——

We've got to wash our face, brush our teeth, shower if you haven't showered yet, dry your hair after that, get yourself water, like-

Speaker 1

……所有这些事情。

... do all of these things.

Speaker 1

我就觉得,为什么我不能直接躺下闭上眼睛呢?

And I just feel like, why can't I just lie down and close my eyes?

Speaker 1

你懂吗?

You know?

Speaker 0

兄弟,我完全理解。

Dude, I totally feel that.

Speaker 0

而且,因为今年对我来说是涂润肤露的一年。

Also, because this has been the year of lotion for me.

Speaker 0

我一直在给身体涂润肤露,这我一生都讨厌做。

I've been lotioning my body, which I hated doing my entire life.

Speaker 0

今年我就觉得,'好吧,我好像看到了身体乳的好处。'

And this year I'm like, "Okay, I feel like I see the benefits of body lotion."

Speaker 0

光是这个就得花上两三分钟——

And that in itself is a solid two to three minutes-

Speaker 1

哦

Oh

Speaker 0

——我一天里的时间。

... of my day.

Speaker 1

等等,那玩意儿可费时间了。

Wait, that shit takes forever.

Speaker 1

好吧。

Okay.

Speaker 1

你知道有时候什么对我有帮助吗?

You know what helps me sometimes?

Speaker 1

就是把它想成局部涂抹。

Is I think of it like spot lotioning.

Speaker 1

所以当然,先涂脸,然后我就想,"嗯,手也得涂一下。"

So of course, there's the face, and then I'm kind of like, "Well, I should do my hands, too."

Speaker 1

然后我又想,"嗯,最容易变干的地方就是手肘、膝盖这些地方。"

And then I'm like, "Well, the places that are really easy to get ashy are your elbows or your knees and stuff."

Speaker 1

然后突然我就想,"等等,反正都已经在涂了,那就干脆全身都涂一遍吧。"

So then suddenly I'm like, "Wait, well, I'm already here, so I guess I'll just put lotion everywhere."

Speaker 0

对,然后我就开始觉得有点愧疚。

Yeah, and then I start to feel bad.

Speaker 0

我涂手肘的时候就想,"天哪,

I'm doing my elbows and I'm like, "Oh, my God.

Speaker 0

我的前臂还好吗?"

Are my forearms okay?"

Speaker 0

"我的上臂需不需要也照顾一下?"

"Do my upper arms need some love?"

Speaker 0

然后我就想,"好吧。"

And I'm like, "All right.

Speaker 0

管他呢。

Fuck it."

Speaker 0

但是涂完要等好久才干。

But then it takes hella long to dry, too.

Speaker 1

对,真的很久。

Yeah, it really does.

Speaker 1

总觉得得晾一晾才行。

It always feels like you need to air yourself out or something.

Speaker 0

有时候手上涂太多了,或者感觉太刺激,都不想碰手机屏幕。

And then sometimes it's too much on my hands, or I'm overstimulated, don't want to touch my phone screen.

Speaker 0

然后我就去洗手,手又变干了。

So then I'll wash my hands, and then my hands are dry again.

Speaker 1

哎呀,真是白费功夫。

Oh, no. Counterproductive.

Speaker 1

是啊,睡前要做的事情太多了,有时候真的挺难的。

But yeah, there's just so many things that we got to do before we sleep, and sometimes it's really hard.

Speaker 1

这让我在心情好的时候更懂得珍惜——

It kind of makes me appreciate when I'm in a better mood-

Speaker 1

……那时候做这些事就觉得轻松多了。

... and these things feel easier.

Speaker 1

因为现在遇到困难的时候,感觉这些习惯更根深蒂固了,因为我之前已经训练过自己,你明白我的意思吧。

Because then now during this moment of difficulty, it feels a little more ingrained because I've trained myself before, if that makes sense.

Speaker 0

对,我懂你的意思。

Yeah, I know what you mean.

Speaker 0

如果习惯成自然,就不用想那么多了。

If it's routine enough, then you have to think less about it.

Speaker 0

但我总觉得,我能根据自己说的是“好,我现在去做这个”还是“唉,我现在得做这个”来判断自己情绪状态如何。

But I feel like I can always tell where I am in the emotional space if depending on whether I'm like, "Oh, I'm going to go do this now," versus, "Ugh, I have to do this now."

Speaker 1

天哪。

Oh, my God.

Speaker 1

太对了。

So true.

Speaker 1

是的,所以我觉得至少我清楚自己的情绪状态。

Yeah, so I guess at the very least, I'm aware of my mood.

Speaker 1

但要说整体情绪方面给自己打几分,我也不太确定。

But I don't know what I would grade myself overall in terms of emotional sphere.

Speaker 1

可能现在有点低吧。

Maybe it's a little low right now.

Speaker 1

大概像——

Maybe like a-

Speaker 0

好

Okay

Speaker 1

C+。

... C+.

Speaker 0

好。

Okay.

Speaker 0

听起来像是你的感受和情绪拉低了分数,但因为你处理得不错,知道自己想做什么,所以可能是在上升的趋势中。

It kind of sounds like your feelings and emotions are dragging down the grade, but because you're managing it well, you know you want to work on something, then it's on an upward trend, maybe.

Speaker 1

希望如此。

Hopefully.

Speaker 1

有时候我知道该做什么,但就是觉得压力很大。

Sometimes I know what I need to do, but it feels overwhelming.

Speaker 1

所以我就干脆不做了。

So then I just don't do it.

Speaker 1

这大概也让评分往下掉了一些。

So that probably also drags the grade down a bit.

Speaker 0

我也有同感。

I feel that.

Speaker 0

我最近也有类似的感受。

I've been kind of feeling similar to that as well.

Speaker 0

我意识到,我最近刚从假期回来,去海外玩了十天。

And what I realized was I recently came back from vacation, like a 10-day trip overseas.

Speaker 0

在那之前,我一直觉得自己状态很好。

And up till that point, I felt like I was on top of my game.

Speaker 0

我以前天天锻炼,见很多人,工作也做得特别好,等等。

I was working out all the time, seeing so many people, doing really well at work, et cetera.

Speaker 0

然后我休假了,回来之后,我觉得自己就是没法回到正常的作息。

And then I took my break and I feel like once I got back, my ability to just get back into the normal routine just wasn't there.

Speaker 0

或者可能是缺乏意志力什么的,但之前那台运转良好的机器突然就没了。

Or maybe it was the lack of willpower or whatever, but The machine that was working before I left was suddenly gone.

Speaker 1

哦,不会吧。

Oh, no.

Speaker 0

我觉得有时候缺乏规律,或者就是缺乏做任何事的欲望,会带来一种感觉迟钝的状态。

And I think sometimes with the lack of routine or maybe just general lack of desire to do anything comes with a sensation of dulled feelings.

Speaker 0

我不难过,也不沮丧,但就是什么感觉都没有。

I wasn't sad, I wasn't feeling down, but I just wasn't feeling anything.

Speaker 0

我就想,"哦,我的情绪都去哪了?"

I was like, "Oh, where did my emotions go?"

Speaker 0

现在生活感觉像褪了色,我不知道该怎么让它恢复正常。

Life feels unsaturated right now, and I'm unsure what to do to get it back to normal.

Speaker 0

所以呢,我觉得我会给自己打个B-。

So then, I think I would give myself maybe a B-minus.

Speaker 0

比起我人生中最糟糕的时候,那时候情绪起伏特别大,压力也处理得很差,我现在已经好多了,但肯定不是什么值得骄傲的成绩。

Gauging by the worst times that I've ever had in my life where my emotions were all over the place, and I was dealing with stress horribly, I'm doing much better, but it's certainly not an impressive grade.

Speaker 1

你看过《吸血鬼日记》吗?

Have you ever watched "Vampire Diaries?"

Speaker 0

没有。

No.

Speaker 1

《吸血鬼日记》里有个设定,就是吸血鬼们可以说‘我可以直接把我的情感和人性关掉’。

So one thing in "Vampire Diaries" is the vampires, they're like, "I can just turn my humanity and feelings off."

Speaker 0

天哪。

Oh my God.

Speaker 1

你现在就是这样。

That's you right now.

Speaker 0

但我不是自己关掉的啊。

But I didn't turn it off.

Speaker 0

是别人帮我关掉的。

Someone else turned it off for me.

Speaker 1

等等,但这也挺有意思的,因为他们通常是在经历了一些特别难以承受的事情之后才会这样,他们会想:“好吧,管他呢。”

Wait, but also it's funny because they do that when they experience something that's so overwhelming that they're like, "All right, fuck it.

Speaker 1

直接把感觉关掉。”

Just turn off the feelings."

Speaker 0

天哪,听起来真有用。

Damn, that sounds very useful.

Speaker 0

但不幸的是,它发生在我没什么用的时候。

But unfortunately, it happened to me at a useless time.

Speaker 0

所以我就觉得,现在生活中也没什么大的创伤或压力,但就是哪里不对劲。

So I'm like, there's no big trauma or stress in my life right now, but something is wrong.

Speaker 0

我就像在大池子里狗刨一样。

I'm like doggy paddling in a big pool.

Speaker 1

我怀疑,也许你也有同感,就是我们可能有点累垮了,这种感觉一直在悄悄逼近。

My suspicion, and maybe you might feel similar, is that maybe it's just a bit of a burnt-out feeling that's been creeping up on us.

Speaker 1

我觉得去年我们在社交上真的很忙。

I feel like last year we were really busy socially.

Speaker 1

然后今年我们一直在忙非社交的事情。

And then this year we've been busy non-socially.

Speaker 1

所以我经常就是,哎,我需要度个假。

So it's, I'm often just like, "Ugh, I need a vacation."

Speaker 1

就是那种什么都不干的假期。

Like a do nothing vacation.

Speaker 0

不过这也让我在想,我知道每个人情况不一样,但我好像还没搞清楚对我来说,从倦怠中恢复过来的好方法是什么。

It also makes me wonder though, I'm sure this is different from person to person, but I don't think I've figured out what a good recovery from burnout is for me.

Speaker 0

因为有时候我觉得,哦,我只需要去旅行,或者休息几天什么都不做。

Because sometimes I feel like, oh, I just need to go on a trip, or take a couple days off to do nothing.

Speaker 0

最近这两样我都做了。

And recently I had both of those.

Speaker 0

我去旅行了——

I went on a trip-

Speaker 0

然后回来工作了一阵子,接着就是劳动节长周末,意外地没什么安排,我感觉自己真的好好休息了,和朋友聚了聚,随心所欲地赖在床上、瘫在沙发上。

... and then came back, worked for a little bit, and then it was Labor Day weekend, so a long weekend with surprisingly not a ton of plans, and I felt like I really got to rest, and hang out, and bed rot, couch rot to my heart's desires.

Speaker 0

但还是没让我恢复过来,所以我不确定——

It still didn't fix me, so I'm not sure-

Speaker 1

对。

No

Speaker 0

——解药到底是什么。

... what the cure is.

Speaker 1

也许我们需要更长的时间。

Maybe we need a longer period of time.

Speaker 1

一个长周末根本不算什么,兄弟。

A long weekend is nothing, dude.

Speaker 1

那点时间一晃就过去了。

That shit flies by.

Speaker 0

我想也是。

I guess that's true.

Speaker 1

我需要休一个月的假。

I need a month off.

Speaker 1

我需要一个欧洲的暑假。

I need a European summer vacation.

Speaker 0

就躺在水边,手里拿着饮料。

Just lounging by the water, drink in my hand.

Speaker 1

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 1

还有,这真的很好笑,但我觉得这跟我的情绪健康有关。

Also, this is really funny, but I feel like it plays into my emotional health.

Speaker 1

我搬进的这个小区有个游泳池,我们本来应该能用这个游泳池的。

The neighborhood that I moved into, it has a pool, and we're supposed to be able to have access to this pool.

Speaker 1

所以我们一直在给业主协会发邮件,说:“嘿,我们能拿到游泳池的钥匙或者密码或者什么的吗?”

So we've been emailing HOA like, "Hey, can we get the pool key or code or whatever is going on?"

Speaker 1

也许就是因为我们进不去——

And maybe it's literally because we can't get in-

Speaker 1

……有好几天我都在想,哇,今天真是个去泳池的好日子。

... that there's multiple days where I'm like, "Wow, today would be a great pool day."

Speaker 0

天哪,而且最近还这么热。

Oh my God, and it's been so hot lately too.

Speaker 1

但另一方面我也在想,如果我们真有泳池钥匙,我们真的会去吗?

But I'm also like, on the other hand, if we did have the pool key, would we actually go to the pool?

Speaker 0

这纯粹是原则问题。

It's just about the principle.

Speaker 1

没错。

Exactly.

Speaker 0

关键是有去泳池这个选择。

It's about having the option to go to the pool.

Speaker 1

所以,我们一直在等这件事,而且我们已经做了我们能做的,就只能继续等,有时候我很难……

So, the fact that we've been waiting on this, and it's something that we've already done what we can about it, and we just have to keep waiting, it's hard sometimes for me to-

Speaker 1

……去处理那些完全不在我掌控之内的事情。

... deal with things completely out of my control.

Speaker 0

说得有道理。

That's a good point.

Speaker 0

我觉得,任何让你感到沮丧或者无助的事情,真的会打乱你的生活节奏。

Anything that causes frustration or makes you feel helpless, I think, can really throw off your routine.

Speaker 0

而且我发现我自己也是这样,会一直纠结在那件事上。

And I find that for me, too, I hyper fixate on it.

Speaker 0

我就会想,哎呀,这就是我生活中唯一不顺心的事。

I'm like, "Oh, this is the one thing going wrong in my life."

Speaker 0

即使其他一切都很好,这件事也会把我的心情拉低。

Even though everything else could be good, and then it drags down my grade.

Speaker 0

不过说实话,我还以为你会说,是啊,自从我们重新开始玩梦幻足球,我的情绪就被拉低了。

But low-key, I thought you were going to be like, "Yeah, since we started fantasy football again, it's bringing down my emotions."

Speaker 1

等等。

Wait.

Speaker 1

说实话。

I'm not going to lie.

Speaker 1

我觉得确实是这样。

I think that it has been.

Speaker 1

不过,我在节目之外也跟你说过,今年我一直在努力练习,不让梦幻体育影响我的情绪。

But also, I told you this off the pod, but I've been really trying to exercise not letting fantasy affect my emotions as much this year.

Speaker 1

我觉得到目前为止还挺管用的。

And I think it's kind of working so far.

Speaker 1

我感觉我就是在试着把精力放在别的事情上,提醒自己别的事情更重要。

I feel like I'm just trying to focus my energy on other things, and reminding myself that other things are more important.

Speaker 0

我服了。

I'm dead.

Speaker 0

这才打了两场比赛啊。

There's been, like, two games.

Speaker 1

我知道。

I know.

Speaker 1

这才是最糟糕的。

That's the worst part.

Speaker 1

我也跟你说过,我当时就说,'我觉得我会少看几场比赛。'

And I told you, too, I was like, "I think I'm going to watch less games."

Speaker 1

结果那两场比赛我一场不落全看了。

I literally watched both those games.

Speaker 0

说句公道话,赛季刚开始几场嘛。

To be fair, it's the first few games of the season.

Speaker 0

现在大家对足球的热情正高,所以我不怪你。

There's a bit of football excitement right now, so I don't put that against you.

Speaker 0

不过咱们看看你整个赛季情绪能不能稳住。

But we'll see how your emotions hold up through the season.

Speaker 1

哥们,我们群聊里已经有人发消息说'Crystal要崩溃了'。

Dude, we already got a message in the group chat that was like, "Crystal's crashing out."

Speaker 0

这就是典型的你,在足球群里崩溃。

Just classic you, crashing out in our football chat.

Speaker 0

好吧,听起来我们现在的情绪状态都不太稳定。

Okay, well, it sounds like our emotional spheres are kind of mid right now.

Speaker 0

但也许我们在心理和精神层面能得更高的分。

But maybe we'll get better grades in the psychological and mental sphere.

Speaker 0

在我们深入讨论之前,我先念一下我们有的描述。

Before we dive into this, I'll just read out the description that we have.

Speaker 0

这个层面可以归类为管理你的想法、练习认知灵活性、做出明智的决定,以及在困难情况下保持理性的视角。

This sphere could be categorized as managing your thoughts, practicing cognitive flexibility, making sound decisions, and maintaining a rational view of difficult situations.

Speaker 0

那你现在的大脑状态怎么样?

So how good is your brain right now?

Speaker 1

糟糕。

Shit.

Speaker 1

好吧,说实话,我觉得我在这个层面的得分其实更高。

Okay, I'm not going to lie, I actually think my grade on this sphere is better.

Speaker 0

哦,真棒。

Oh, slay.

Speaker 1

我觉得我还能保持理性思考和决策能力。

I think I'm still able to maintain rational thought and decision-making.

Speaker 1

只是有时候我会躺在那儿,然后觉得有点低落。

It's just sometimes I kind of lay there and I'm like Feeling kind of down.

Speaker 1

也不知道为什么,但我觉得最近确实面临很多决定,我花了很多时间分析选项,权衡利弊。

Don't know why, but I do think lately there's been a lot of decisions that I've had to face, and I have been spending a lot of time analyzing the choices and thinking through pros and cons.

Speaker 1

我已经做出了一些决定,虽然感觉有点吓人,但我觉得那些都是好的决定。

And I have made some decisions, and I do feel like it's a bit scary, but I feel like they're the good decisions.

Speaker 0

哦。

Oh.

Speaker 0

这些是人生大事,还是说更偏向日常的小决定?

Are these big life decisions, or would you say they're smaller day-to-day decisions?

Speaker 1

算是中等吧。

It's like medium.

Speaker 1

其中一个跟工作有关,我觉得工作在我生活中占挺大一部分,但我尽量不让它变得太大。

One of them is work-related, and I think personally, work is a decent chunk of my life, but I try not to make it too big.

Speaker 1

所以我才觉得它是中等。

So that's why I'll consider it medium.

Speaker 1

但这可能会改变一些事情的走向。

But it will potentially change the course of some things.

Speaker 1

反正我也没计划过什么。

Not that I had anything planned out anyway.

Speaker 0

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 0

听起来你在这方面做得挺好的,心理健康这块。

So then it sounds like you have been exercising this part of your mental health very well.

Speaker 0

那很棒。

That's great.

Speaker 0

我觉得有时候对我来说,这是最难的部分。

I feel like sometimes, for me, this is the hardest sphere.

Speaker 1

你觉得你最近怎么样?

How do you feel like you've been doing?

Speaker 0

我觉得最近还行,但我要说,前提是我没遇到需要连续做很多重大决定的情况。

I think recently I've been doing okay, but I will say that that's caveated by, I haven't been in situations where I have to make a lot of big decisions continuously.

Speaker 0

如果回头看去年甚至两年前,我觉得生活中有太多事情需要我每天做决定,有时候还是为一大群人做决定,大事小事都有。

And if I look back to even last year or two years ago, I feel like there were so many things in my life where I was making decisions on the daily, sometimes for a big group of people, big and small.

Speaker 0

比如计划旅行,或者几年前筹备婚礼,再往前还有买房子。

Planning trips, for example, or even a couple of years ago, planning my wedding, or even before that, buying our house.

Speaker 0

这些事情都让我不断做出重大决定。

These were things where I was constantly making big decisions.

Speaker 0

而且我确实觉得,当时做那么多决定,对我来说压力特别大。

And I do feel like with the quantity of decisions I was making, it was super stressful for me.

Speaker 0

但现在,就像在上那种特别轻松的课,随便就能拿A。

But now, it's like I'm in one of those easy classes where it's like an easy A.

Speaker 0

每天就做一个决定,而且我还能做得特别好。

There's like one decision I make a day, and I'm crushing that decision.

Speaker 0

所以就像是拿了个A-,但带个星号。

So it's like a A- but with an asterisk.

Speaker 1

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 0

就是说我过得还不错,但挺轻松的。

Like I'm doing well, but it's been chill.

Speaker 1

哦,我忘了给自己打个分。

Oh, I forgot to give myself a grade.

Speaker 1

你知道吗?

You know what?

Speaker 1

我觉得我也差不多,A-或者B+吧。

I think I'm similar, like A- , B+.

Speaker 1

可能A-。

Maybe A-.

Speaker 1

就定A吧。

We'll stick with A.

Speaker 0

我觉得你可以给自己打个A。

I feel like you could give yourself an A.

Speaker 1

哇,谢谢。

Wow, thanks.

Speaker 1

等等,而且,就算你做的决定比较小,也不代表你不能得高分。

Wait, also, just because you have smaller decisions to make doesn't mean that you still can't get a high grade.

Speaker 1

这是我对你成绩的看法。

My thoughts on your grade.

Speaker 0

哇,谢谢。

Wow, thanks.

Speaker 0

其实我最近就在想这个,因为我们刚做完那期疫情前的怀旧节目。

I actually was thinking about this recently because we just did our pre-COVID nostalgia episode.

Speaker 0

在那期节目里,我们聊了疫情对我们来说是什么样的,还有我们各自的经历。

And during that episode, we talk about what parts of COVID were like for us and our personal experiences.

Speaker 0

那段时间发生在我身上的一件事就是,我失去了独自做事的能力。

And one of the things that happened to me around that time was I lost the ability to do stuff by myself.

Speaker 1

哦。

Oh.

Speaker 0

所以我当时跟我的心理医生坐下来聊,我说:“我连一个人去超市都做不到。”

So I sat down with my therapist at the time, and I was like, "I cannot even go to a grocery store by myself."

Speaker 0

第一,我根本没法开车去那儿;第二,有时候我开车到了,坐在停车场里,然后就想‘我做不到’,就又开回来了。

One, I can't bring myself to drive there, and then two, sometimes I'll drive there, sit in the parking lot, and then be like, "I can't do this," and I'll come back.

Speaker 0

我不太确定那段时间发生了什么,但我觉得我可能有很多社交焦虑——

I'm not sure what happened during that time, but I think I felt a lot of maybe social anxiety-

Speaker 0

……害怕和别人打交道。

... fear of interacting with others.

Speaker 0

而且就算我在超市里,我也会花很长时间挑每一样东西。

And even when I was at the grocery store, I would spend a long time picking out each thing.

Speaker 0

我会想‘我不知道该买这种意面还是那种意面’,然后在那儿站十分钟。

I would be like, "I don't know if I should get this kind of pasta or this other type of pasta," and then stand there for 10 minutes.

Speaker 0

最近,我开车下班回家。

Recently, I was driving back from work.

Speaker 0

我在加油站停了一下,在Whole Foods买了些东西,回到家,卸东西的时候,我就想‘哇,这真傻,但这些是我几年前真的很难做到的事情。’

I stopped by the gas station, picked up some groceries at Whole Foods, went home, and I was unloading everything, and I was like, "Wow, it's so dumb, but these are things that I really deeply struggled with a couple of years ago."

Speaker 1

这不傻。

That's not dumb.

Speaker 1

我觉得这恰恰说明了你付出的努力——

I feel like that just shows the work you put in-

Speaker 1

——去改善那些你想改变的事情。

... to improve things that you wanted to change.

Speaker 0

这让我很感激,哦,我现在的心态好多了,以前觉得特别难的事情,现在只是日常的一部分。

It made me appreciative of, oh, I'm just in a better head space now to where things that I found so difficult years ago are just a part of my daily routine.

Speaker 0

有时候如果我很累或者什么的,我还是会有点社交焦虑,但我去超市的时候就会戴上AirPods,做一些我知道能让我感觉更正常、不那么紧张或害怕的事情。

And sometimes if I'm really tired or something, I still feel a bit of social anxiety, but I just put in my AirPods if I go to the grocery store, do something that I know will help me feel more normal or less nervous or scared or anxious about it.

Speaker 0

所以也许那些小决定也在帮助我在这方面进步。

So maybe even those small decisions are helping me in this sphere.

Speaker 1

兄弟,我也想补充一下。

Dude, I want to add to that also.

Speaker 1

我觉得我们每天选择去做那些我们该负责的事情,那些不一定非做不可的事情。

I feel like every day that we choose to do things that we're responsible for, that are not necessarily necessary.

Speaker 1

比如说,锻炼。

So for example, working out.

Speaker 1

我觉得每天坚持对自己负责,坚持锻炼,这也是对这方面有积极作用的。

I feel like every day making that decision to keep ourselves accountable for our workouts is also a positive contributing factor to this sphere.

Speaker 0

对,确实是这样。

Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 0

我以前在网上看到过一些东西。

I saw something online once.

Speaker 0

就是说,当你对自己许下的承诺都兑现了,你就是在告诉自己,你可以信任自己去完成想做的事情。

It was like, when you keep promises that you make to yourself, you're telling yourself that you can trust yourself to do things that you want to do-

Speaker 0

或者说,你打算去做的事情。

... or set out to do.

Speaker 0

我觉得有一段时间我并没有做到这一点。

And I feel like there was a time where I didn't have that.

Speaker 0

比如,我一直在用ClassPass,因为我是ClassPass的用户。

For example, I was looking on ClassPass, because I'm a ClassPass user.

Speaker 0

你可以翻看自己的历史记录。

You can scroll through and see your history.

Speaker 0

所以我在2020年的时候做过一次试用什么的。

So I had done a trial or something back in 2020.

Speaker 0

我记得那是在疫情之前。

I think it was right before COVID.

Speaker 0

我当时报了大概五节课,结果取消了四节。

And there were five or so classes that I had signed up for, and I had canceled four of them.

Speaker 1

天哪。

Oh my God.

Speaker 0

取消是指在你预约的12小时内取消的那种。

Canceled as in within the 12 hour of your reservation cancellation.

Speaker 0

我当时就想,"天哪,我连40%的课都去不了。"

And I was like, "Damn, I couldn't even show up to fucking 40% of the classes."

Speaker 0

我报名的课,实际上只去了20%。

I was literally only going to 20% of the things that I signed up for.

Speaker 0

这太离谱了。

Like, that's crazy.

Speaker 0

而现在,自从我重新开始用ClassPass以来,幸运的是我还没有取消过。

And now it's like I haven't had a cancellation, luckily, since I started using ClassPass again.

Speaker 0

我不知道。

I don't know.

Speaker 0

这是不是就是你在三十多岁解锁的能力?

Is this just what you unlock in your 30s?

Speaker 0

你变成了真正的大人?

You become real people?

Speaker 1

有人曾经说过,我忘了是什么,比如炉边谈话或者TED演讲之类的。

Someone once said, I forget what it was, like a fireside chat or a TED Talk or something.

Speaker 1

他们就说:“有时候你只需要骗骗你的大脑,让某些事情变得不可商量。”

They were just like, "Sometimes you just have to trick your brain into thinking that some things are non-negotiable."

Speaker 1

我第一次听到的时候完全没懂,但现在亲身经历后,我觉得我更理解了。

And I totally didn't quite understand that the first time I heard it, but now living it I feel like I understand it more.

Speaker 1

听起来你也是这样,对吧?

And that's what it kind of sounds like for you too, right?

Speaker 1

你会说,"如果我报名了这个课,那它就是必须去的。"

You're like, "If I'm going to sign up for this class, then it's going to be a non-negotiable."

Speaker 1

当然,除非发生了什么特别紧急的事。

Unless, of course, some crazy emergency happens.

Speaker 0

这么说很有道理。

That's a good way of putting it.

Speaker 0

我觉得这样也能减轻一些做决定的负担。

I think it also helps take away some of the decision-making burden, too.

Speaker 0

不用再纠结"今天要不要去上课"这种问题。

Instead of being like, "Oh, am I going to show up for this class today or not?"

Speaker 0

就是——

It's like-

Speaker 0

……"当然要去啊。"

... "Oh, of course I'm going to go do this."

Speaker 0

这样我就能把做决定的精力留给其他事,比如"今天吃什么?"

And then I can preserve my decision-making powers- ... for other shit like, "What should we eat today?"

Speaker 1

没错。

Exactly.

Speaker 1

其实根本没有说不的选项。

There actually isn't an option to say no.

Speaker 1

所以你就只能去。

So you just have to go.

Speaker 1

抱歉。

Sorry.

Speaker 0

回头看我们积累的这些技巧和心得,真的很有意思,因为我觉得这些东西听起来可能很简单,但除非你亲身经历过这种改变,否则你不会知道它其实并不简单。

It's actually very interesting looking back and seeing what kind of tips and tricks we've accumulated, because these are things that I feel like can sound basic, but until you live the change, I feel like you don't know how not basic it is.

Speaker 1

有个好玩的事,我每周上的一节健身课,我们和老师有个小群聊。

One funny thing is that one of my workout classes that I do over the week, we have a little group chat with the teacher.

Speaker 1

所以有时候如果有人被会议缠住了之类的,他们就会说:“嘿,我今天去不了了。”

And so sometimes if people are stuck in meetings or something, then they'll say, "Hey, I can't make it today."

Speaker 1

我觉得到目前为止,我是最坚持的人之一。

I think so far I've been one of the most consistent people.

Speaker 0

不错。

Nice.

Speaker 1

有一次我不得不取消,因为公司搞消防演习,然后最好笑的是,有三个人看到了我的消息。

One time I had to cancel because there was some fire drill at work, and then the funniest thing that happened was three people saw my message.

Speaker 1

然后他们就说:“对,我也不去了。

So then they were like, "Yeah, me neither.

Speaker 1

抱歉,我去不了了。”

Sorry, I can't make it."

Speaker 0

等等。

Wait.

Speaker 0

我笑死了。

I'm dead.

Speaker 1

然后我就想:“哎呀,糟糕。

And I was like, "Oh, fuck.

Speaker 1

我的错。”

My bad.

Speaker 1

也许我不该说那句话。

Maybe I shouldn't have said anything."

Speaker 0

我觉得这就像普拉提里,你可以选择跪着或踮脚做平板支撑,然后旁边那个很强的人选了跪着,我就想,"算了。"

I feel like that's like in Pilates when you can choose between planking on your knees or toes, and then the strong person next to you goes on knees, and I'm like, "Fuck it."

Speaker 0

"我也跪着吧。"

"I'm going knees."

Speaker 1

只要有一个人带头就够了。

All it takes is one.

Speaker 0

我觉得这正好可以过渡到我们的下一个领域,也就是身体领域。

I think this actually segues well into our next sphere, which is the physical sphere.

Speaker 0

就像我之前提到的,这包括保持身体健康,还有保持睡眠卫生,确保营养摄入充足。

As I mentioned earlier, this is things like keeping up with your physical health, but also keeping up with your sleep hygiene, making sure that you're getting proper nutrition.

Speaker 0

这些很多都直接关系到我们做决定的能力,或者我们处理情绪的能力。

A lot of these things actually directly link into our ability to make good decisions or our ability to navigate our emotions.

Speaker 0

那你给自己在身体领域打几分?

So how would you grade yourself on the physical sphere?

Speaker 1

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 1

之前的话,勉强算个C吧。但最近我在慢慢恢复状态,所以我觉得——

Earlier, low-key C. But lately I've been making a comeback, so I think-

Speaker 0

哦?

Ooh

Speaker 1

……

...

Speaker 1

我正回到B的水平。

I'm getting back in the B range.

Speaker 1

我觉得我在运动和饮食方面其实做得挺好的,但睡眠真的很不规律。

I think I'm actually doing quite well in movement and nutrition, but my sleep is really sporadic.

Speaker 1

有时候确实有点难以预测。

It is a little unpredictable sometimes.

Speaker 1

我很看重睡眠,也尽量多睡,但有时候就是不小心熬到很晚。

I value sleep, and I do try to get a lot of it, but I don't know, sometimes I just accidentally stay up hella late.

Speaker 1

如果一周里连一两天都睡不好或者睡到自然醒,那我就会变得特别烦躁,脾气也大。

Or if I can't get a day or two in a week where I feel like I slept in or got good sleep, then I get really cranky and grumbly.

Speaker 1

之前情况真的很糟,因为不知怎么的,有好几周我都把作息搞乱了,因为不小心熬夜熬得太晚。

Okay, it was really bad earlier because, for some reason, there were multiple weeks where I just fucked up my sleep schedule because I accidentally stayed up super late.

Speaker 1

这打乱了整个星期,我老是睡得很晚,或者睡眠质量不好,睡眠债越积越多,大概就是这样。

It kind of messed up the whole week where I would keep sleeping late or just keep getting not as good sleep, falling deeper and deeper into my sleep debt, I guess.

Speaker 1

最近好多了。

Lately, it's been better.

Speaker 1

这个月过得不错。

This past month has been good.

Speaker 1

算是吧。

Sort of.

Speaker 0

兄弟,睡眠这东西,我跟你说,最难保持规律了,因为稍微不注意就会把作息搞乱。

Dude, sleep, I swear, is the hardest thing to keep regular because it doesn't take much to fuck up the sleep schedule.

Speaker 0

不知怎么的,我觉得年轻的时候更容易调整过来,但现在只要熬一次夜,接下来两天就废了。

For some reason, I feel like it was easier to bounce back when we were younger, but now it just takes one late night, and I'm fucked for the next two.

Speaker 1

真的。

Seriously.

Speaker 1

好,我还有一个理论。

Okay, I have another theory.

Speaker 1

这个我不太确定。

I'm not super sure about this.

Speaker 1

这是我最近才想到的,因为我男朋友睡得比我早,他通常十点半或十一点就上床了,或者说他尽量这样。

It's a very recent thought that I had, but because my boyfriend sleeps earlier than me, he's usually in bed by, or he tries to be in bed by 10:30 or 11:00.

Speaker 1

通常我自己,大概要到十一点四十五或十二点才会上床。

Normally, me personally, I would not get into bed until probably 11:45 or 12:00.

Speaker 1

然后放松一下什么的,再睡觉。

And then wind down and whatever, and then go to sleep.

Speaker 1

但有时候,因为他已经睡了,我也会跟着上床,然后就在那儿玩手机。

But then sometimes, because he's already in bed, I'll just go to the bed, too, and then I'll just be on my phone.

Speaker 1

我觉得因为我在那一个小时左右的时间里玩手机——

And I feel like because I'm on my phone for that hour or whatever-

Speaker 1

……那种要睡觉的节奏就变了,

... the momentum changes from sleep-

Speaker 1

……变成刷手机了。

... to being on my phone.

Speaker 1

然后突然之间,不知不觉就凌晨四点了,我心想……“天哪,我完蛋了。”

And then suddenly, next thing you know, it's 4:00 AM, and I'm like- ... "Oh my God, I'm so fucked."

Speaker 0

哥们儿,我完全懂你。

Dude, I totally get that.

Speaker 0

我觉得我和詹姆斯是轮流先睡着的。

I think me and James take turns being the first one asleep.

Speaker 0

但是如果在床上刷手机超过三十分钟,你就废了。

But after the 30-minute mark of being on your phone in bed, you're cooked.

Speaker 1

你就会想:“好吧,现在这其实就是纯粹的刷手机时间了。”

You're like, "Well, now this is actually just phone time."

Speaker 0

而且不知道为什么,越是夜深该睡觉的时候,手机就越有意思。

And for some reason, when it's really late and you need to sleep, your phone is so interesting.

展开剩余字幕(还有 407 条)
Speaker 1

确实。

True.

Speaker 0

就好像我刷到的都是最好的抖音,看到最劲爆的Reddit帖子。

It's like I get the best TikToks, see the juiciest Reddit posts.

Speaker 0

根本放不下。

Can't put it down.

Speaker 1

真的。

Seriously.

Speaker 1

或者,不知怎么的,我开始看YouTube,或者想:“嘿,要不我现在看个电影?”

Or, for some reason, I start watching YouTube, or I'm like, "Hey, what if I just watch a movie right now?"

Speaker 0

天哪。

Jesus Christ.

Speaker 1

哦,你知道有一次发生了什么吗?

Oh, you know what happened one time?

Speaker 1

我在看一个Reddit帖子,好像有人在评论说:“这些剧整季都很好看”之类的。

As I was reading a Reddit thread, and I think someone was commenting, like, "These are shows that are really good throughout the whole season," or whatever.

Speaker 1

然后我就想,"我要不要看这个?"

And I'm like, "Should I watch this?

Speaker 1

管他呢。

Fuck it.

Speaker 1

我现在就看。"

Let me just watch it right now."

Speaker 0

我觉得睡前刷手机这个问题不是只有我们这样。

I don't think the phone in bed problem is exclusive to us.

Speaker 0

但有些人真的会把手机放在另一个房间。

But some people will literally leave their phone in a different room.

Speaker 0

我也试过那样做,但结果闹钟响了我也听不到,因为声音太小了。

And I tried that, but I just didn't wake up to any of the alarms because it was too quiet.

Speaker 1

哦。

Oh.

Speaker 0

然后我还看到有些应用,闹钟是个游戏。

And then I also saw that there's apps where the alarm clock is a game.

Speaker 0

所以你得解一堆数学题才能把它关掉。

So you'll have to solve a bunch of math equations before you can turn it off.

Speaker 0

但我觉得如果你有伴侣或者和别人同住一个房间,我不想对我的伴侣那样做。

But I feel like when you have a partner or someone else that you're sharing a room with, I don't want to do that to my partner.

Speaker 0

你懂我的意思吗?

You know what I mean?

Speaker 1

其实我们也得调整这个,因为我男朋友醒得特别早。

Actually, we had to adjust that as well, because my boyfriend wakes up fucking early.

Speaker 1

至少对我来说,挺早的。

At least to me, it's pretty early.

Speaker 1

每天晚上我都会问:“你明天几点起床?”

Every night I'm like, "What time are you going to wake up tomorrow?"

Speaker 1

他说:“早上六点。”

He's like, "6:00 AM."

Speaker 1

我说:“搞什么鬼?”

I'm like, "What the fuck?"

Speaker 0

那确实挺早的。

It's pretty early.

Speaker 1

所以他不设响铃闹钟,而是用手表上的闹钟。

So instead of setting a loud alarm, he sets one on his watch.

Speaker 1

就是那种智能手表。

Like a smartwatch.

Speaker 1

手表会在手腕上震动,这样就不会吵到我。

It'll vibrate on his wrist, so that way it won't disturb me.

Speaker 1

到目前为止,这个方法一直挺管用的。

And it has generally worked pretty well so far.

Speaker 0

我记得我们几个月前好像聊过这个。

I remember we chatted about this a couple months ago, maybe.

Speaker 0

我当时就说:“哥们,这太聪明了。”

And I was like, "Dude, that's genius."

Speaker 0

所以我也试了试,前两天效果特别好。

So I tried it, worked amazing for two days.

Speaker 0

然后我就一直睡过头,手表闹钟响了我都没醒。

And then I just kept sleeping through all of the watch alarms.

Speaker 0

所以手表闹钟响了我也没醒,它还在那儿震。

So then I would sleep through the watch one, and it's still buzzing.

Speaker 1

不会吧。

No.

Speaker 0

手机闹钟会响,因为我设了备用闹钟。

The phone one would go off because I would have a backup.

Speaker 0

所以床上在震,声音也在响,James就一脸无奈。

So it's vibration on the bed, plus the sound going, and James was like, "Ugh."

Speaker 0

他说:“怎么回事?”

He's like, "What's happening?"

Speaker 1

这确实挺难的。

It's just difficult.

Speaker 1

幸好我起得晚,可以设个响亮的闹钟。

Luckily, because I wake up later, I can set a loud alarm.

Speaker 0

确实。

True.

Speaker 0

有道理。

Makes sense.

Speaker 1

但不管怎样,我男朋友一起床,我几乎肯定会醒一下。

But regardless, when my boyfriend gets up, it's almost inevitable that I'll at least wake up for a second because of it.

Speaker 0

我觉得那真的会打乱你的睡眠,因为虽然你回去睡了,但如果你用睡眠追踪器之类的,我觉得每次我醒了再睡回去,就不会进入快速眼动或深度睡眠——

I feel like that can really throw off your sleep, too, because sure, you go back to sleep, but if you use a sleep tracker or something, I think every time I wake up and then go back to sleep, I don't hit REM or deep sleep-

Speaker 0

——没那么深。

... as much.

Speaker 0

就只是浅睡。

It's just like core sleep.

Speaker 1

睡眠确实难搞。

Sleep is hard.

Speaker 0

我觉得睡眠很难保持规律,有时候我也觉得饮食很难坚持。

I think sleep is hard to keep consistent, and sometimes I find nutrition hard, too.

Speaker 0

大概从去年第四季度左右开始——

Since probably like Q4-ish last year-

Speaker 0

……

...

Speaker 0

我开始在营养管理上更上心一些,但我觉得对我来说难的并不是记录卡路里、蛋白质或者脂肪这些,而是它对我日常生活的影响程度。

I started to be a little bit more on top of my nutrition game, but I feel like what is hard for me is not the tracking of calories or protein or the fats and stuff like that, but it's more so like how much I let it affect my day-to-day.

Speaker 0

我一直在试着像控制杠杆一样控制它。

I've been trying to control it like a lever.

Speaker 0

如果我觉得记录让我变得有点强迫症或者什么的,我就会暂时放一放。

If I feel like my tracking is making me feel more obsessive or something, then I'll lay off on it for a little bit.

Speaker 0

但如果我觉得自己开始太松懈了,不太在意吃进身体里的东西,我就会重新开始简单记录一下。

But then if I feel like I'm starting to get too loose, like not caring about what I'm putting in my body, then I'll start to lightly track it again.

Speaker 0

但有时候我觉得吃什么真的能影响我一天的状态。

But sometimes I feel like it can really swing my day based on what I'm eating.

Speaker 1

感觉这挺难的。

Feel like that's pretty hard.

Speaker 1

我也开始记录卡路里和宏量营养素了。

I've also started tracking my calories and macros.

Speaker 1

我是夏初开始记录的。

I started towards the beginning of the summer.

Speaker 1

到目前为止感觉还不错,尤其是刚开始的时候,因为那是一种新体验。

I feel like so far it's been okay, especially in the beginning, because it was like a new experience.

Speaker 1

我当时就想,‘哇,我都没意识到我们平时吃了多少卡路里。’

I was like, "Whoa, I didn't realize how many calories we've all been eating."

Speaker 1

有时候还挺好玩的,因为每次锻炼完,我都会想,‘来吧,看看我今天多赚了多少卡路里。’

It's still a little fun sometimes because every time I work out, I'm like, "Come on, let me see how many extra calories I earned."

Speaker 1

但确实,有时候我也会想,‘管他呢,’

But yeah, there's definitely times where I'm kind of like, "Fuck this.

Speaker 1

‘我今天就想随便吃。’

I'm just going to eat whatever the fuck I want today."

Speaker 1

而且我觉得这真的很有意思,因为就像你说的,很容易就会沉迷进去,而且很容易不知不觉就掉进一个很危险的坑里。

And it, I think it's just a really interesting thing because it can be so easy to obsess over it, like you said, and it can easily become a very dangerous hole that you haven't even realized you've dug yourself into.

Speaker 0

确实。

For sure.

Speaker 0

我觉得数卡路里有点像打开了潘多拉的盒子。

I feel like calorie counting is kind of like opening Pandora's box.

Speaker 0

我以前对食物、卡路里,甚至健身习惯的看法,都是非黑即白的。

I think I used to think about food and calories, even things like workout habits, in a binary.

Speaker 0

我总想着,瘦的人这样做,胖的人那样做。

I would be like, "Skinny people do this, and then fat people do this."

Speaker 0

或者,我可能什么都做了,但就是瘦不下来,也不知道为什么。

Or, "I might do all of these things, but I'm not losing weight because of whatever reason."

Speaker 0

我当时有很多认知上的矛盾——

There was a lot of cognitive dissonance that I had-

Speaker 0

……还有给各种事情贴标签,这其实没什么道理。

... and a lot of labeling of things, which doesn't really make sense.

Speaker 0

只要愿意,每个人都能养成健康的习惯,除非你身体上有什么严重的限制之类的。

Everyone can have healthy habits if they choose to, unless you have some sort of really limiting physical factor or something.

Speaker 0

但我觉得一旦我开始更仔细地记录,并且对自己更宽容一些,就更容易看到怎么找到平衡。

But I think once I started tracking a little bit more closely and being a little bit nicer to myself about it, it's been easier to see how I can find balance.

Speaker 0

所以不再像以前那样想,‘我要减肥,所以只能吃那十个随便列出来的东西’——

So instead of being like, "I want to lose weight, so I can only eat these 10 things on some random list"-

Speaker 0

……

...

Speaker 0

我可以吃披萨,也可以吃冰淇淋,但也许之后吃顿清淡的,或者去运动消耗掉,随便怎样都行。

I can eat the pizza or I can eat the ice cream, but maybe I just have a lighter meal later or work it off or whatever.

Speaker 0

所以这挺有帮助的。

So that's been helpful.

Speaker 0

但我发现我的执念渗透到生活中的地方是——

But where I see my obsession bleeding into my life is-

Speaker 0

……

...

Speaker 0

我会发现自己对别人说一些我并不想说的话。

I'll find myself saying things that I don't want to say to other people.

Speaker 1

哦。

Oh.

Speaker 0

我觉得我自己心里想想,比如“我想记录卡路里,吃得清淡点,或者做点别的什么”,或者“这个我不吃了,因为不符合我的营养比例”,这都没问题。

I think it's fine for me to have thoughts of like, "Oh, I want to track my calories and eat light or do this or whatever," or like, "Oh, I'm not going to eat that because it's not going to fit into my macros."

Speaker 0

但偶尔我会不小心在别人面前说出来,然后我就想,我可不想跟一个老是在说“这个有700卡路里”的人待在一起。

But occasionally, I'll slip up and say it when I'm around other people, and I'm like, I don't want to be around someone who's constantly being like, "This has 700 calories."

Speaker 1

确实。

That's true.

Speaker 0

比如,“你知道吗,这个含糖量很高。”

Like, "Did you know this has this much sugar?"

Speaker 0

或者别的什么。

Or whatever.

Speaker 0

偶尔当个冷知识说说还行,但没人愿意跟一个老是报卡路里数字的人待在一起,而且——

Once or twice as a fun fact is fine, but no one wants to be around the person that's constantly rattling off calorie information and-

Speaker 0

……有时候我会发现自己这么做,尤其是在工作的时候,然后我就想,“好吧,我得放松一点。”

... sometimes I catch myself doing it, especially at work, and I'm like, "Okay, I need to relax a little bit."

Speaker 1

我完全懂你的意思,因为自从我开始更仔细地记录饮食后,我就想,天哪,我现在知道好多卡路里信息了。

I totally get what you mean because once I started tracking more, I was like, "Oh my God, I know so much more caloric information now."

Speaker 1

就像,我们平时就这么随便吃,真的很难忍住不说出那些想法。

Like, we just be eating this shit out here, and it's really tempting to say those thoughts out loud.

Speaker 1

“哦,我不吃这个,因为这样那样的。”

"Oh, I'm not going to eat that because of this or whatever."

Speaker 1

我觉得我肯定也有过类似的想法,可能也说过那样的话。

I think I've definitely had similar thoughts and probably said stuff like that as well.

Speaker 1

不过,说到这个,我觉得和另一半住在一起对——

Actually, in this instance, though, I feel like living with your SO has interesting effects on-

Speaker 1

——你的饮食习惯会有挺有意思的影响。

... how you eat.

Speaker 1

对我来说,最近这段时间,有好有坏吧。

For me, lately, it's been both positive and negative.

Speaker 1

好的一面是,我们很容易互相鼓励吃得更健康。

It's positive because it's easy to encourage each other to eat healthier.

Speaker 1

但不好的一面是,我们也特别容易互相怂恿,变得不在乎。

But it's negative because it's also really easy to encourage each other to not care.

Speaker 0

或者莫名其妙地吃更多。

Or to eat more for some reason.

Speaker 1

没错。

Exactly.

Speaker 1

就是很容易说,'今天要不要出去吃顿大餐?'

It's just so easy to be like, "Oh, today, should we just go out and eat this huge meal?"

Speaker 1

然后另一个人就说,'好啊,管他呢。'

And then the other person's like, "Yeah, fuck it.

Speaker 1

为什么不呢?

Why not?"

Speaker 1

而且我们都知道现在可能不是最好的主意——

And we both know that's probably not the best idea right now-

Speaker 1

或者类似的情况。

... or something like that.

Speaker 1

但另一方面,有另一个人帮你保持自律也挺有帮助的,而且还能——

But then, on the other hand, it is helpful to have that extra person to keep yourself accountable and also-

Speaker 1

……鼓励更健康的生活习惯。

... encourage healthier habits.

Speaker 1

我觉得有个好玩的事,我男朋友说:“嘿,我觉得我最近瘦了,因为你不怎么吃零食,所以我们家里零食也少了。”

I think one funny thing is my boyfriend was like, "Dude, I think I got skinnier lately because you don't really snack," so we have less snacks in the house.

Speaker 0

哦。

Ooh.

Speaker 0

这个不错。

That's a good one.

Speaker 1

他特别爱吃零食。

He's a big snacker.

Speaker 1

所以是的。

So yeah.

Speaker 0

这让我很有共鸣。

It's relatable to me.

Speaker 0

我也是个爱吃零食的人。

I'm also a big snacker.

Speaker 0

不过,是的。

But yeah.

Speaker 0

我觉得,和伴侣一起生活,或者说同居这件事,本身可能会……

I feel like the existence or just living with your partner in general can-

Speaker 0

……带来一些有趣的影响。

... have interesting effects.

Speaker 0

我有时候会发现自己找各种理由不去健身房。

One thing that I catch myself doing sometimes is I'll have some sort of reason why I don't want to go to the gym today.

Speaker 0

而不是直接说“好吧,我今天不去了,明天再去”——我会把所有的理由都跟詹姆斯说一遍,然后说:“哦,詹姆斯,我今天不能去健身房,因为我真的很累,睡眠不足,而且我现在没有足够的碳水化合物来支撑我的锻炼,等等等等。”

Instead of just being like, "Okay, I'm going to skip today and then go tomorrow"- I'll rattle off all of my reasoning to James, and I'll be like, "Oh, James, I can't go to the gym today because I'm really tired, and I didn't get enough sleep, and I don't have enough carbs to fuel my workout right now, and blah, blah, blah.

Speaker 0

所以我明天早上再去,等等等等。”

So I'll just go tomorrow in the morning, and blah, blah, blah."

Speaker 0

然后他就说:“好吧。”

And he's like, "Okay."

Speaker 0

他就说:“听起来不错。”

He's like, "Sounds good to me."

Speaker 0

我觉得他的存在在某种程度上挺让人安心的,因为当我需要那种“不去健身房也没关系”的安慰,或者需要“你应该去,反正都去了”的鼓励时,他两种都能给我。

I think his existence is kind of comforting in a sense, because when I need that reassurance of like, "Oh, it's fine to skip the gym," or when I need the encouragement to be like, "Oh, you should just go, might as well," he can do both.

Speaker 0

所以这挺有帮助的。

So that's helpful.

Speaker 0

但我要说,我们刚开始住在一起,我给我们做饭的时候——

But I will say, when we first started living together and I was cooking food for us-

Speaker 0

……

...

Speaker 0

我发现很难把握食物的分量。

I found it so difficult to understand how to portion the food out.

Speaker 1

哦。

Oh.

Speaker 0

因为你知道,出去吃饭的时候,比如去Chipotle之类的。

Because you know when you go out to eat, say you go to Chipotle or something.

Speaker 0

出去吃的时候,比如去Chipotle,你一碗他一碗,分量一样,但你可能吃得少一点,留一点到后面吃,也可能全吃完,或者你们俩都吃完。

You have your bowl, he has his bowl, have the same portion, but you might eat a little bit less of your bowl, save it for later, you might eat the whole thing, or you might both finish your bowl.

Speaker 0

但在家里,分量的活儿就落在我身上了。

But at home, it's like I'm the one portioning stuff out.

Speaker 0

所以我每次都把食物分成对半,我把自己那份全吃完,后来我就想:“我怎么感觉在长胖,但不知道为什么。”

So I would portion everything out 50/50, finish all my food, and then later I was like, "I feel like I'm gaining weight, but I'm not sure why."

Speaker 0

我吃的和詹姆斯一样多。

I'm eating the same food that James is.

Speaker 0

但考虑到我们性别不同,他更高,肌肉也更多,我不该那么吃的。

But considering that we're different genders, and he is taller and has more muscle, I shouldn't have been doing that.

Speaker 1

你就说:“其实我该吃得比詹姆斯少一点。”

You're like, "Actually, I need to eat a smaller portion than James."

Speaker 0

我就说:“我发现我吃40%,你吃60%。”

I was like, "I think I figured out that I eat 40%, you eat 60%."

Speaker 0

我花了这么长时间才明白过来。

And it took me all this time to understand.

Speaker 1

等等,不过还有件好玩的事,你提到你有时候会跟詹姆斯说一堆借口,解释你为什么不去健身房。

Wait, another funny thing though, you mentioned how you sometimes just rattle off your excuses to James about why you can't go to the gym.

Speaker 1

我注意到我几乎每周都会给吉敏发短信说:“我今天不想锻炼。”

I've noticed that I almost once a week will text Jimin and be like, "I don't want to work out today."

Speaker 1

然后他就会说些像“你可以的”之类的话,对吧?

And then he says some generic like, "You can do it," or whatever, right?

Speaker 1

然后我就想:“好吧,现在我觉得把话说出来了,我就要去健身房了。”

And then I'm like, "Okay, well, now I feel like I got that out of my system, and I'm going to go gym."

Speaker 0

天哪。

Oh my God.

Speaker 0

我完全懂你的意思。

I know exactly what you mean.

Speaker 1

我就是需要说出来我今天不想去,但之后我还是会去的。

I just needed to say that I don't want to go today, but then I'm still going to go.

Speaker 0

我也有同样的情况,但对我来说,我会在日历上把锻炼时间安排出来,对吧?

I have the same thing, but for me, it's like I'll block my workouts on my calendar, right?

Speaker 0

然后有些日子我会想,'我就是提不起劲去。'

And then there are days where I'm like, "I just can't get myself to go up."

Speaker 0

所以我会把日程往后挪,比如把周三的锻炼改到周四,因为今天实在没状态。

So I'll move the event over, like I'm delaying my workout from Wednesday to Thursday because I'm not feeling it today.

Speaker 0

我一这么做,就能立刻起身去健身房了。

The second I do that, I'm able to get up and go to the gym.

Speaker 1

你会想,'其实我现在就去。'

You're like, "Actually, I'm doing it right now."

Speaker 0

我会想,'反正也不是必须的。'

I'm like, "Well, it's optional.

Speaker 0

不如趁早把它做了。

I might as well get ahead of it."

Speaker 1

挺有意思的,因为我很多锻炼都是下班直接去的。

It's really funny because a lot of my workouts, I go directly from work.

Speaker 1

所以我会带上健身包,所有东西都摆在眼前。

So I'll bring my gym bag and everything and I have all my stuff just in front of me.

Speaker 1

我就想,"我不想去了。"

I'm like, "I don't want to go anymore."

Speaker 1

然后我就想,"好吧,"拿起健身包就直接去健身房了。

And then I'm like, "Okay," picks up gym bag and goes directly to the gym.

Speaker 0

哎呀,天哪。

Oh, man.

Speaker 0

我觉得即使健身已经成为你日常的一部分,你也在培养自律,但有些日子你就是他妈的完全不想去健身房。

I guess even when the gym is a part of your routine and you are building the discipline, some days you just don't fucking want to go to the gym.

Speaker 1

有些日子真是热得要命。

Some days it's fucking hot.

Speaker 0

我也有过这样的日子,正要去健身房,结果发现我的Apple Watch只剩10%的电了。

I've also had days where I'm about to go to the gym, and then I realize my Apple Watch is at 10% battery.

Speaker 1

我的天哪。

Oh my God.

Speaker 0

我就想,"哦,我不能去了。"

I'm like, "Oh, I can't go anymore."

Speaker 0

得给那玩意儿充电。

Gotta charge that shit.

Speaker 1

哥们儿,我现在都开始带充电器在背包里了。

Dude, I've started bringing a charger with me in my backpack.

Speaker 0

哦。

Oh.

Speaker 1

所以,可惜没借口了。

So no excuses, sadly.

Speaker 1

但前几天,其实就是昨天,我的Apple Watch电量大概只有20%左右,我心想:“天哪,它能撑过这一个小时吗?”

But the other day, literally yesterday, my Apple Watch was at, I think it was at 20% or something, and I was like, "Oh my god, is it going to last the hour?"

Speaker 1

我就想:“走着瞧吧。”

I was like, "I guess we'll see."

Speaker 0

它撑过了一个小时吗?

Did it last the hour?

Speaker 1

撑过了,但最后差点就没电了。

It did, but it was about to die at the end.

Speaker 0

我现在回想了一下,发现我的状态可能跟你正好相反。因为今年早些时候,我觉得自己状态特别好,甚至私下里都会给自己打个A+。

I'm reflecting now, and I'm realizing that I'm probably the reverse grade as you because earlier this year, I feel like I was at a solid A. I would low-key even have given myself an A+.

Speaker 0

但自从度假回来之后,我就一直处于低谷……

But since I've been in my slump post-vacation- ...

Speaker 0

现在我已经跌到C-了。

I've fallen to a solid C-minus.

Speaker 1

哦,真的吗?

Oh, wow.

Speaker 0

我连去上普拉提课都提不起劲。

I can barely bring myself to go to Pilates.

Speaker 0

跑步也老是不去,健身房也不去,这样真的不太好。

I've been skipping my runs, I've been skipping the gym, and it's not that good.

Speaker 0

所以我打算再去一趟短途旅行,去看看我爸妈。

So I'm about to go on another short trip to visit my parents.

Speaker 0

我觉得去了之后可能会好一点,因为至少不用自己做饭或者操心那些事情了。

And I believe that once I do, it'll help me maybe because I won't have to cook or do stuff.

Speaker 0

我只要待在父母家里,就会很舒服。

I'll just be in the comfort of my parents' home.

Speaker 0

所以希望那是我回归状态的好机会。

So hopefully that's my comeback game.

Speaker 0

不过现在,我的平均分大概在C+左右。

But for now, I'm at averaging to a C+.

Speaker 1

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 1

C+已经不错了。

A C+ is better.

Speaker 1

我觉得你还是很活跃的,所以别对自己太苛刻了。

I feel like you're still very active, so don't be too harsh on yourself.

Speaker 0

我只是休息一个月而已。

I'm just taking a month-long break.

Speaker 1

对,这没什么问题。

Yeah, and that's okay.

Speaker 1

好,接下来是下一个方面。

All right, onto the next sphere.

Speaker 1

社交/人际关系方面,也就是和家人、朋友以及社区保持联系,建立归属感和支持系统。

Social/relational sphere, so connecting with family, friends, and your community to build a sense of belonging and support.

Speaker 1

你在这方面感觉怎么样?

How have you been feeling about this?

Speaker 0

这个挺有意思的,因为我觉得我对健康社交/人际关系的评判标准,嗯——

So this one is interesting because I feel like how I evaluate a healthy social/relational status, I guess-

Speaker 0

……这些年已经变了。

... has changed over the years.

Speaker 0

我觉得目前我会给自己一个稳稳的B。我和家人朋友联系很紧密,但我不会特意去主动联系别人,或者经常发消息、约出来玩。

I think currently I would give myself a solid B. I feel very connected to family and friends, but I wouldn't say I'm going out of my way to reach out to people or hitting people up and hanging out and texting all the time.

Speaker 0

不过,对我来说,这其实是一种进步。

However, I feel like for me, that's an improvement in a way.

Speaker 0

我觉得今年我一直在训练自己变得更独立、更自信,这让我能和其他人建立更牢固的关系,因为我感觉更好了。

I think this year I've been training myself to be more independent and more confident in myself, and that has allowed me to build stronger relationships with other people because I'm feeling better.

Speaker 0

所以,是的。

So yeah.

Speaker 0

我会给自己打个B。我又不是什么社交达人。

I would give myself a B. I'm not social queen of the year or anything.

Speaker 0

但我现在是个真实的人了。

But I'm a real person now.

Speaker 1

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 1

那挺好的。

That's pretty good.

Speaker 1

我对自己打的分数有点纠结。

I'm conflicted on the grade I'm giving myself.

Speaker 1

可能是B减。

Maybe it's a B-minus.

Speaker 1

我不确定。

I'm not sure.

Speaker 1

有好的一面也有不好的一面。

There's some good parts and some bad parts.

Speaker 1

总体上我并不觉得特别疏离,而且我觉得过去一年里我也和朋友一起做过一些有趣的事。

I don't feel necessarily disconnected overall, and I think I've done some fun things with friends recently too, over the past year.

Speaker 1

但与此同时,我又是个很宅的人。

But at the same time, I'm a recluse.

Speaker 0

啊。

Ah.

Speaker 1

而且我最近感觉比平时更宅了。

And I've been feeling more reclusive than normal.

Speaker 1

不是我自己想这样,你明白吗?

Outside of my own means, if that makes sense.

Speaker 1

通常我会跟朋友说,'好了各位,这个月别来烦我'之类的。

Normally, I kind of tell our friend group, I'm like, "All right, guys, don't bother me for a month," or something.

Speaker 1

但这次,我感觉自己宅得不是出于自愿。

But this time, I feel like I'm reclusive, not on my own terms.

Speaker 0

你觉得你是在繁忙的日程中努力找时间休息,还是说总体上就是跟别人的联系变少了?

Do you feel like you're trying to find downtime between the busy schedule that you're juggling, or is it there's just generally less things or less connections with other people?

Speaker 1

我想可能是因为我对生活感到有些应接不暇,所以变得更内向了。

I think maybe because I'm feeling overwhelmed with life, I guess, I am becoming more internal.

Speaker 0

哦。

Oh.

Speaker 1

然后我就不太主动联系别人了。

And so then I don't reach out to people.

Speaker 1

但如果有人主动约我出去什么的,我可能会说“好啊”。

But if people reach out to me to hang out or something, I'll probably be like, "Okay."

Speaker 1

不过总的来说,我也觉得自己不太想社交。

But I'm also not feeling very social, I guess, in general.

Speaker 0

明白了。

I see.

Speaker 0

我觉得这很正常。

I think that's fair.

Speaker 0

但我不会因为这个就给你或我自己打个低分。

But I wouldn't necessarily give you or myself a bad grade for feeling like that.

Speaker 0

你明白我的意思吗?

You know what I mean?

Speaker 0

因为事情就是这样。

Because that's just how it is.

Speaker 0

有些年份你更忙,有些年份你更自由,关键是要有时间和心思去投入这些关系。

Some years you're busier, some years you're more free, and it's about having the, honestly, the time and the head space to invest a lot of effort into these relationships.

Speaker 0

但我不是说你的关系不好,绝对不是这个意思。

But I wouldn't say your relationships are bad or anything, by any means.

Speaker 1

对,确实是这样。

Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 1

不过我得说,我最近确实忽略了和父母一起出去玩。

I will say, though, I have neglected hanging out with my parents recently-

Speaker 0

啊

Ah

Speaker 1

……我觉得这有点拉低我的分数。

... which I feel like is a little, dings my grade a bit.

Speaker 1

他们就在身边,所以很容易觉得理所当然。

They're right there, so it's easy to take that for granted.

Speaker 1

但后来,是的,我最近突然意识到,"天哪,我已经好久没有好好陪父母了。"

But then, yeah, I kind of recently, I was like, "Oh my God, it's been a while since I've properly hung out with my parents."

Speaker 1

我觉得还有一部分原因是我搬去和男朋友住了,变化很大,所以我得适应新的生活常态。

I think also part of it is moving in with my boyfriend is a lot of change, so I have to adapt to what is the new normal.

Speaker 1

以前一个人住的时候,我可以直接去父母家,过夜,想干什么就干什么。

Living alone before, I could just go to my parents' house, stay over, do whatever I want.

Speaker 1

但现在感觉,怎么说呢,好像没那么简单了。

But now it's like, I don't know, it feels like it's more than that.

Speaker 1

就像是……

It's like-

Speaker 1

……"哦,我想我这周末不在了。"

... "Oh, I guess I'll be gone for the weekend."

Speaker 1

你懂吗?

You know?

Speaker 1

而且我得跟别人说一声。

And I have to tell someone.

Speaker 1

我也不知道。

I don't know.

Speaker 0

对,确实需要更多的协调和考虑的事情。

Yeah, there's definitely more coordination and things to consider.

Speaker 0

我觉得你几乎得提前安排,而不是随便过去看看。

I feel like you almost have to arrange it in advance instead of just casually popping by.

Speaker 1

对,就是这样。

Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 0

我觉得这很合理。

I think that's fair.

Speaker 0

而且我今年也没怎么见到父母,所以也挺难受的,但也许我们可以从质量和数量两个角度来看待这个问题。

And I've also been unable to see my parents as much this year, so that has been kind of tough, but maybe we can look at it from a quality and quantity lens.

Speaker 0

可能我们见面的次数少了,但每次聚在一起的质量还是很高的。

Maybe our quantity has gone down, but the quality of the hangouts are still doing strong.

Speaker 0

而且就我个人来说,我觉得现在去聚会的时候,我能更做自己,更放松,更真实,哪怕是在工作场合。

And if I think about my hangouts personally, I feel like I've been able to show up to hangouts and be more myself, more relaxed, and more real, even in a work setting.

Speaker 0

我觉得我现在在工作中也像个真实的人了。

I feel like I'm, again, a real person at work now.

Speaker 1

确实。

That's true.

Speaker 1

我也觉得最近我的工作关系处得挺好的。

I do feel like my work relationships have been doing pretty great lately.

Speaker 1

还有我们的友谊,特别是我们在湾区的那个小女生圈子,最近特别活跃,因为很多人——

And our friendships, especially our little girl group in the Bay, has been kind of popping off lately because a lot of-

Speaker 1

……最近都搬回来了。

... people have moved back recently.

Speaker 0

这是我们的夏天。

It's our summer.

Speaker 1

好的。

All right.

Speaker 1

嗯,我还是坚持我给自己打的分数。

Well, I'm sticking to the grade I gave myself.

Speaker 1

等等,我说的是什么来着?

Wait, what did I say?

Speaker 1

B吗?

A B?

Speaker 0

B减。

B minus.

Speaker 1

B减?

B minus?

Speaker 1

我觉得挺准的。

I think that's accurate.

Speaker 1

可能很快就能到B了。我正在努力。

Maybe soon to be a B. I'm working on it.

Speaker 0

正在往好的方向发展。

It's on the up and up.

Speaker 0

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 0

好了,为了结束我们这一期节目,我们来聊聊最后一个领域——精神领域。

Well, to wrap our episode, let's talk about the final sphere, the spiritual sphere.

Speaker 0

这个领域可以归结为通过信仰、正念或与周围世界的联系,找到个人意义、核心价值观或人生目标。

This one can be categorized as finding personal meaning, core values, or purpose in life through beliefs, mindfulness, or connection to the world around you.

Speaker 0

你会给自己打多少分?

How would you grade yourself?

Speaker 1

老兄。

Dude.

Speaker 1

你了解我的。

You know me.

Speaker 1

好吧,对我来说这个领域有两面,我想每个领域都是如此。

Well, okay, there's two sides of this for me, as I guess for every sphere.

Speaker 1

我觉得我确实有一个人生目标,最近我也一直在思考这个问题。

I think I do have a purpose, I guess, that I have quested myself recently.

Speaker 1

而且总的来说,我对自己的核心价值观有清晰的认识。

And I think in general, I have a good idea of my core values.

Speaker 1

但我每隔三个月左右就会经历一次身份认同或个人危机。

But I also just go through these identity and personal crises every three months or something.

Speaker 1

所以我觉得,尽管我有比较稳固的基础,但我有时候可能还是会想太多。

So I feel like despite having a somewhat solid foundation, I'm always maybe overthinking it sometimes.

Speaker 1

然后这就会让我陷入危机。

And then that throws me into a crisis.

Speaker 0

你觉得这些危机有建设性吗?

Would you say that these crises are productive?

Speaker 0

比如,你每次都能从中更了解自己,或者调整目标,或者总体上从中得到一些积极的东西?

Like you always come out of it knowing something more about yourself, or refining your goal, or just generally getting something positive about it?

Speaker 0

还是说,这只是一时的消极情绪,然后很快就过去了?

Or do you think it's like a temporary flash of negativeness and then it just goes away?

Speaker 1

我觉得这些危机并不总是有建设性的。

I do not think they're always productive.

Speaker 1

有时候它们就是,对,像一阵消极的漩涡,然后突然之间我就觉得,"好吧,我没事了。"

I think sometimes they're just, yeah, like a flash of a negative spiral, and then eventually, suddenly I'm just like, "All right, I'm over it."

Speaker 1

可能四个月后又回来了。

Maybe it comes back in four months or something.

Speaker 1

我也不知道。

I don't know.

Speaker 1

其实上一期节目我也聊过这个,对吧?

Even in the last episode, I was talking about it, right?

Speaker 1

我当时就说,"天哪,我都这么老了。"

I was like, "Dude, I'm fucking old.

Speaker 1

"还在经历这些危机。"

I'm having these crises."

Speaker 1

而且说实话,有时候,可能是因为我知道自己的价值观或者某个目标,或者我想努力的方向,一想到有那么多潜在的障碍——

And actually, sometimes, I guess it is kind of because I know my values or some goal or whatever that I want to work towards, thinking about how there's all these potential obstacles-

Speaker 1

……还有一些是我们控制不了的。

... and some that are out of our control.

Speaker 1

我们都会老,你懂吧?

We just age, you know?

Speaker 1

然后这让我有点焦虑。

And then that stresses me out a bit.

Speaker 1

对,可能就是因为想太多那些控制不了的因素。

Yeah, maybe it's the overthinking of the factors that I can't control.

Speaker 0

而且很难不去想太多。

And it's hard not to overthink.

Speaker 0

我觉得这就是目标或者强烈价值观的双刃剑。

I feel like that's the double-edged sword of a goal, or having strong values.

Speaker 0

我觉得好的时候,真的很好,很有动力;但坏的时候,或者遇到挫折,感觉有什么挡在前面的时候,真的会让人特别沮丧。

I feel like when it's good, it's really good and motivating, and then when it's bad, or there's a misstep or something that you feel like is in your way, I feel like it can be incredibly discouraging in a sense.

Speaker 1

我觉得有时候还会自我怀疑,这几乎是不可避免的。

I think also, sometimes there's the second-guessing yourself, which I feel like is very inevitable.

Speaker 1

所以有时候你会想,'这值得做吗?'

So sometimes you're like, "Is it worth doing this?

Speaker 1

'我该不该做这个?'

Should I be doing this?"

Speaker 1

就是这些想法。

All that kind of thought.

Speaker 1

这又回到了我们的情感层面。

That goes back to our emotional sphere.

Speaker 0

不过我觉得我们确实到了那个年纪。

I do feel like we're at that age, though.

Speaker 0

我记得看过一篇文章说,很多女性在三十多岁的时候会经历职业变动之类的。

I think I read something that was like, a lot of women have career changes or something in their 30s.

Speaker 0

不是说你的情况是职业变动,但也许我们就是面临这些想法,比如'我们整个二十多岁都在追求这一件事',然后现在到了三十岁,前额叶也完全发育了。

And not that your thing is a career change, but maybe we just are facing these thoughts of like, "Oh, we spent our entire 20s wanting this one thing," and then now that we're 30, and our frontal lobes are like, fully developed.

Speaker 0

而且现在生活中发生了这么多事情,我们的需求在变化和演变,我觉得这有点吓人。

And, we have all of these circumstantial things that are happening in our life now, like what we want changes and evolves, and I feel like it's kind of scary.

Speaker 0

我不是一个能很好适应变化的人。

I am not someone who does well with change.

Speaker 0

所以一想到我到了38岁左右,突然发现自己想要完全不同的生活,我就感到害怕。

So the prospect of me hitting, say like 38 or something, and suddenly being like, "Oh, I want something completely different in my life," terrifies me.

Speaker 1

这确实挺吓人的。

It's pretty scary.

Speaker 1

那你的精神层面怎么样?

So how's your spiritual sphere?

Speaker 0

还行吧。

It's doing okay.

Speaker 0

我会给自己打个C+。

I would give myself a C+ for this.

Speaker 0

这个分数有点复杂,因为我觉得我人生的目标一直是建立一个稳固的家庭,生孩子,把孩子培养成优秀、了不起的人。

It's kind of a mixed grade because I feel like my purpose in life has always been to have a strong family, have kids, raise beautiful, amazing kid, I guess.

Speaker 0

不是多个孩子。

Not plural.

Speaker 0

这一点从来没有变过。

And that has never changed.

Speaker 0

对我来说,这一点一直非常坚定。

Like, that's been very unshaken for me.

Speaker 0

所以这是我的基础。

So that is my baseline.

Speaker 0

然后我觉得我今年的目标在某种程度上很肤浅。

And then I feel like my goal this year has been very superficial in a sense.

Speaker 0

我一直在朝着这个目标努力,花了很多时间、金钱和精力。

I've been working towards it and spending a lot of time, money, effort working towards that goal.

Speaker 0

但因为我觉得这个目标没什么意义——

But because I don't find it to be a very meaningful goal-

Speaker 0

……

...

Speaker 0

我觉得也就只能得个C+吧。

I feel like it's just like a C+.

Speaker 1

但这个目标,它和你根本的追求是相连的。

But the goal, it connects to your foundational purpose.

Speaker 0

对,确实是这样。

Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 0

我想也是。

I guess it's true.

Speaker 0

但有时候我觉得,追求一个肤浅的目标会让我的想法也变得肤浅。

But sometimes I feel like working towards a superficial goal makes my thoughts superficial.

Speaker 0

我觉得平衡这两者挺有意思的。

I think balancing that has been interesting.

Speaker 1

明白了。

I see.

Speaker 0

比如,我看了很多TikTok上的内容,都在提醒我要实现那个目标,不停地说,"哦,你想要这个没关系。"

Like, I'm on a lot of TikTok content and stuff that is reminding me of the goal that I want to achieve, and it's constantly talking about it, being like, "Oh, it's okay that you want this."

Speaker 0

但我心里又有个声音在问,"真的吗?"

But then part of me is like, "Is it?"

Speaker 0

比如,我是不是突然把我生活中的一切都建立在这件不是很有意义的事情上了?

Like, am I suddenly now basing everything that I'm doing in my life based on this one thing that is not very meaningful?

Speaker 0

它只是关于外表的。

It's just only physical.

Speaker 0

有点模糊。

It's kind of vague.

Speaker 0

基本上,我一直在努力减肥,我觉得每天我的大脑、我的心思、我的想法都围绕着减肥、体重、外貌或者类似的东西转。

Basically, I've been trying to lose weight, and I feel like every day my brain, and my mind, and my thoughts are revolving around losing weight, or my weight, or my aesthetics, or something.

Speaker 0

然后我觉得在这个过程中,我很难不迷失自己,不失去我内心深处真正的自己。

And then I feel like in that process, it's been hard for me not to lose myself and lose who I am deep inside.

Speaker 1

但我觉得你减肥只是一个表面的标签。

But I feel like your losing weight is just a superficial label.

Speaker 1

真正的目标是——

The real goal is-

Speaker 1

……健康。

... to be healthy.

Speaker 0

确实。

That's true.

Speaker 1

而这跟你最终的目标是连在一起的,就是组建家庭,保持健康,成为家里的顶梁柱,还有——

And that is connected to your ultimate goal of having a family, being healthy enough to be a strong pillar in that family, and-

Speaker 1

……

...

Speaker 1

怎么说呢,养孩子、怀孕,这些事儿,对吧?

I don't know, raise a child, get pregnant, all of that kind of stuff, right?

Speaker 0

就像用二头肌举起我的宝宝。

Like bicep curl my baby.

Speaker 1

对,没错。

No, yeah.

Speaker 1

因为很多父母不怎么锻炼,孩子长大一点、重一点,很快就抱不动了。

Because a lot of parents who don't work out as much, they quickly cannot hold their child as the child gets older and like bigger.

Speaker 1

所以以后你会是那种很厉害的妈妈。

So like you'll be one of the strong moms in the future.

Speaker 0

我觉得你说得对,也许关键在于怎么看待这个问题,对吧?

I think you're right, and maybe it's about the framing, right?

Speaker 0

比如在我精神健康的日子里,我会想,‘哦,我这么强壮,这么健康’,或者‘我做得更健康了’,或者‘我能做到所有这些不靠体重秤的胜利’,我能看到其中的深层意义。

Like maybe on my spiritually healthy days, I'm like, "Oh, I'm so strong and fit," or like, "I'm doing so much healthier," or, "I can do all of these things that are non-scale victories," and I'm able to see the depth in that.

Speaker 0

然后在我心理脆弱的日子里,我就只是盯着体重秤,或者看我的体重数据——

And then on my mentally weak days, I'm like just staring at the scale, or looking at my weight statistics-

Speaker 0

……或者过度纠结卡路里那些东西。

... or diving too deep into the calories and stuff.

Speaker 0

所以总是试图保持平衡,但我应该重新调整这种想法,让自己感觉——

So always trying to keep that balance, but I should be reframing it to feel-

Speaker 0

……更注重健康,而不是外表。

... more health-based and not aesthetic-based.

Speaker 1

我觉得你不必为此给自己打个C。

I feel like you don't have to give yourself a C for that.

Speaker 0

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 1

那你至少是个B。

You'd be like a B.

Speaker 0

好吧。

Okay.

Speaker 0

我把自己提到B了。但你要知道,这也就是83分,刚好卡在B减的边缘。

I'm bumping myself up to a B. But just know that it's like a 83, like on the cusp of a B minus.

Speaker 1

但我完全理解你的意思,因为比如说,我讨厌有氧运动,所以我从来不做。

But I totally get what you mean because, for example, I hate cardio, so I never do cardio.

Speaker 1

在我心里就会觉得,哦,有氧运动跟减肥有关之类的。

And in my mind it's kind of like, "Oh, well, cardio is linked to weight loss or whatever."

Speaker 1

但如果你深入想想,提醒自己,这是别人给我的一个建议。

But then it's like if you dig deeper and remind yourself, this was one of the tips that someone had given me.

Speaker 1

他们说,别这么想。

They're like, "Well, don't think of it that way.

Speaker 1

实在不行,就把它当咒语一样反复念给自己听。

Literally, if you have to, just repeat it to yourself like a mantra."

Speaker 1

比如,“这是为了最终目标,为了健康,”或者“为了达到这些健身水平之类的。”

Like, "This is for this ultimate goal, to be healthy," or like, "To reach these levels in fitness or whatever."

Speaker 1

这就是你做这件事的原因,而不是把它和那些感觉肤浅或者你不想做的事情联系在一起。

And that's why you're doing this thing, rather than tying it to something that feels either superficial or like something that you don't want to do.

Speaker 1

然后我就想,“好吧。”

And I was like, "Okay."

Speaker 1

我还是不做有氧运动。

I still don't do cardio.

Speaker 0

但等你做的时候,你会记住这一点的。

But when you do, you'll have that in the back of your mind.

Speaker 1

希望如此。

Hopefully.

Speaker 0

这让我想起,虽然我完全不是网球迷,但最近我看了阿尔卡拉斯和本·谢尔顿的比赛。

This kind of reminds me of, and I'm not a tennis fan by any means, but recently I watched Alcaraz play Ben Shelton.

Speaker 1

本·谢尔顿。

Ben Shelton.

Speaker 0

我对阿尔卡拉斯了解不多,但他那次在连胜之后输了,然后他走下通道的时候,脸上还带着笑容。

I don't know a ton about Alcaraz, but he lost after having this long winning streak, and then as he was walking down the tunnel after his loss, he was just smiling.

Speaker 0

他看起来完全不像输不起的样子。

He didn't look like a sore loser at all.

Speaker 0

就是,他看起来一点都不沮丧或者什么的。

Like, he didn't look salty or anything.

Speaker 0

然后我看到一个Reddit评论——

And this one Reddit comment I saw-

Speaker 0

……说阿尔卡拉斯的心理素质很强,因为他年轻的时候刚开始打网球、开始有竞争意识时,他有一个运动心理学家跟他合作。

... said that Alcaraz has a pretty strong mental because when he was young and getting into tennis and being competitive, he had a sports psychologist that he worked with.

Speaker 0

据说,那个运动心理学家会让他描述上周的比赛情况,但不能说“哦,但我输了”或者“我赢了”这样的话。

And apparently, the sports psychologist would have him talk about how his tennis matches went the week prior without being like, "Oh, but I lost," or like, "I won."

Speaker 0

他得描述自己的经历,而不提结果,因为即使不把输赢挂在嘴边,你也能从经历中获得很多。

Like, he would have to describe how his experiences were without talking about the results because you still get so much out of the experience, even without having to default to the win or loss.

Speaker 0

我看到那个的时候,我就想:“哦,我觉得你可以把这个应用到生活中的很多方面。”

When I read that, I was like, "Oh, I feel like you could apply that to so much in your life."

Speaker 0

就拿我的健康之旅来说,与其说‘哦,我减了多少斤失败了’,

Even my health journey, instead of being like, "Oh, I lost."

Speaker 0

或者‘我还想再减多少斤’,我其实可以想想在这个过程中发生的那些事。

This much weight, or I want to still lose whatever weight, I could just think about the things that have happened in the process.

Speaker 0

比如今年这一年,我能跑更多英里了,或者举更重的重量,或者上普拉提课之后不会疼得躺四天。

Like throughout this year, I've been able to run more miles or lift more weight or go to Pilates without dying for four days after.

Speaker 0

这些事都值得庆祝,而不只是看秤上的数字。

Those are things that are still worth celebrating instead of just what's on the scale.

Speaker 1

哥们儿,说得太对了。

Dude, so true.

Speaker 1

而且打网球的人心理素质都超强。

And tennis people's mentals are crazy good.

Speaker 1

这真的很有意思。

That is really interesting.

Speaker 1

我也得好好想想,看看能不能也用到自己身上。

I'll have to think about that, see if I can apply it to myself, too.

Speaker 0

有很多值得思考的。

Lot to noodle on.

Speaker 1

天哪,我给自己这次表现打分了吗?

Oh my God, did I give myself a grade for this one?

Speaker 1

嗯,我就说个B吧。我给自己B,因为我有很多危机,但我觉得我的基础还不错。

Well, I'll just say like B. I'll just give myself a B because I have a lot of crises, but I feel like I have a good foundation.

Speaker 0

哥们,B就是——天哪,我们俩都是B,太巧了。

Dude, B is-- Oh my God, we're matching our Bs.

Speaker 0

不错。

Solid.

Speaker 1

太棒了。

Hell yeah.

Speaker 1

说实话……哦,我们其实也有几个A-呢。

Honestly... Oh, we did have a couple A minuses in there, too.

Speaker 1

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 1

我觉得我们做得还不错,尤其是知道最近我们俩都不在最佳状态。

I think we did okay, especially knowing that lately we've both been feeling not at our peaks.

Speaker 1

我觉得如果我们在今年年初给自己打分的话,会有更多的A。

I feel like if we graded ourselves towards the beginning of this year, we'd have way more As.

Speaker 0

哦,对。

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 0

我今年年初的时候,成绩单可是非常漂亮的。

I started off this year with a very strong report card.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 0

不知道中间发生了什么。

Not sure what happened in the middle there.

Speaker 1

但趋势看起来是在上升的。

But the trend seems to be on the come up.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 1

所以希望到十二月,我们能回到A、A减、B加这些水平。

So hopefully by December, we'll be back in those A, A minus, B plus areas.

Speaker 0

而且我觉得做这个评分,就像你说的,我对我们的结果感到非常惊喜。

And I think doing this grading, like you said, I'm very pleasantly surprised at how we landed.

Speaker 0

所以也许我们的低谷并没有那么低。

So maybe our low point isn't even that low.

Speaker 0

我们看起来还不错。

We seem to be doing okay.

Speaker 1

比如,没有D。

Like, no Ds.

Speaker 1

我们每门课都及格了。

We're passing on everything.

Speaker 1

C也能拿学位。

Cs get degrees.

Speaker 0

当然。

For sure.

Speaker 0

这次一起聊聊我们的心理健康真的很有意思,而且这次我们没有做危机特辑,而是给自己打了分,我觉得挺有启发的。

This has been very fun to kind of walk through our mental health, and instead of doing a crisis episode, we gave ourselves grades this time, and I feel like it's been very insightful.
