嗨。

Hi.

Speaker 0

欢迎回到Eat Your Crust播客。

Welcome back to Eat Your Crust Podcast.

Speaker 0

我是Crystal。

I'm Crystal.

Speaker 0

我是Jisoo。

I'm Jisoo.

Speaker 1

我是Aileen。

And I'm Aileen.

Speaker 0

所以今天,我们的嘉宾很特别,我想,就像我们每集说的那样。

So today, our guest is special, I guess, just as we say every episode.

Speaker 0

但她其实是我大学时的学姐。

But she's actually my big from, college.

Speaker 0

我们一起加入了一个专业兄弟会,或者说她先加入,然后我后来也加入了。

We joined a professional fraternity together, or I guess she joined first and then I joined later as

Speaker 1

她的男朋友。

her boyfriend.

Speaker 1

然后我就把你接上了。

And then I picked you up.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yep.

Speaker 2

她目前是一名用户体验设计师。

She's currently a UX designer.

Speaker 0

她现在住在洛杉矶。

And she's currently located in LA.

Speaker 0

虽然她原本来自湾区,而且她其实也是弗里蒙特人,尽管我们直到大学才认识。

Although she was originally from The Bay and she's like also from Fremont actually, even though we never met until college.

Speaker 1

这世界真小啊。

Such a small ass world.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我们都来自同一个地方。

That we're all from like the same area.

Speaker 0

我觉得在湾区,大家通常都是,你知道的,六度分隔那种关系。

I feel like everyone in The Bay is just, like you know, usually, it's six degrees of connection.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

但在湾区,我觉得更像是三度或者更少。

But I feel like in The Bay, it's more like three or degrees.

Speaker 1

不。

No.

Speaker 1

像,两度。

Like, two.

Speaker 1

如果你不认识他们本人,你妈妈肯定认识。

Like, if you if you don't know them personally, your mom does.

Speaker 1

就像你妈妈认识他们妈妈一样。

Like, your mom knows their mom.

Speaker 0

太搞笑了。

So funny.

Speaker 0

太真实了。

So true.

Speaker 1

或者他们是在健身房或者伊丽莎白湖遇到的。

Or they, like, met at the gym or met at Lake Elizabeth.

Speaker 1

然后他们就说,哦,我也有个女儿。

And then they're like, oh, I have a daughter too.

Speaker 1

然后,你知道的,你就这样认识了弗里蒙特的所有人。

And then, you know, you just end up meeting everyone in Fremont.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

这世界真小。

It's the world

Speaker 1

很小。

is small.

Speaker 0

那么,欢迎你,艾琳。

So, welcome, Aileen.

Speaker 1

谢谢大家。

Thanks, guys.

Speaker 1

感谢邀请我。

Thanks for having me.

Speaker 2

今天的话题是关于自我关怀和自我提升。

So today's topic is actually gonna be about self care and self improvement.

Speaker 2

我觉得现在正是聊这些的好时机,因为我们基本上被困在家里,只能独自面对自己的思绪,对吧。

I think this is the perfect time to talk about these things because we're basically trapped in our house alone with our thoughts for Mhmm.

Speaker 2

三十天,甚至更久。

Thirty days and maybe even more.

Speaker 2

所以,这些没有计划的周末也许正是探索自我关怀、努力改善自己不同方面的绝佳机会。

So maybe these plan free weekends are the perfect opportunity to kind of explore what self care is and work on improving different aspects about yourself.

Speaker 2

那你们觉得自我照顾是什么意思?

So what does self care mean to you guys?

Speaker 1

我觉得自我照顾对每个人来说可能都不一样。

I think self care is probably different for every person.

Speaker 1

但对我来说,自我照顾就是主动采取行动,改善我的心理、身体和社交健康。

But I think for me, self care is taking active actions to better my mental, physical, and social health.

Speaker 1

就是确保我时刻关注自己的感受和状态。

So it's just making sure that I'm in check with how I'm feeling, how I'm doing.

Speaker 1

你知道,自我提升就是我能改进的地方,不管是职业生活还是人际关系。

You know, self improvement is ways in which I can improve on whether it's my professional life or my relationships with people.

Speaker 1

所以我觉得它们很相似,但从小到大,再到大学,甚至现在,我对自我照顾的理解真的变了很多。

So I think they're all they're both very similar, but, my understanding of self care has really changed from when I was really young to college and even now.

Speaker 1

你们呢?

What about you guys?

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

我觉得对我来说也差不多。

I feel like it's similar for me.

Speaker 2

确实,自我照顾就是确保自己总是处于最佳状态。

Definitely self care is making sure that I always feel at my 100%.

Speaker 2

当我感觉状态不佳的时候,就会做一些有建设性的事情,让自己恢复到最佳状态。

And when I'm feeling under the weather, then doing things that are productive and constructive to kind of put me back to a 100.

Speaker 2

我觉得年轻的时候,自我照顾更多是关于放纵自己,做一些短期让自己开心的事情,而不是那些长期来看对自己更好的事情。

I think when I was younger, self care was a little bit more about indulgence and doing short term things that made me feel good or that I wanted to do instead of things that in the long run would make me feel better.

Speaker 2

比如,我会放纵自己吃零食,或者做一些不太好的事情,比如熬夜看电视之类的。

So for example, like, I would indulge in eating snacks or, you know, doing toxic things like staying up all night watching TV or something like that.

Speaker 2

因为在我感到难过、沮丧或者生气的时候,我觉得那样做会让自己好受一些。

Because in the moment of, like, my sadness or my frustration or my anger, I felt like that would feel better.

Speaker 2

但现在年纪大了,我意识到自我照顾并不总是只做当下想做的事情。

But now that I'm older, I'm realizing that self care isn't always just about doing stuff that you want in the moment.

Speaker 2

它确实需要更多考虑长远。

Like, it's definitely about thinking a little bit more long term.

Speaker 2

你呢,Crystal?

How about you, Crystal?

Speaker 0

自我照顾。

Self care.

Speaker 0

我觉得对我来说,照顾自己更多是心理上的,就是对自己这个人感到自在。

I guess, like, for me, care is a lot more mental and, like, being comfortable with who you are as a person.

Speaker 0

我也不太清楚。

I don't I don't know.

Speaker 0

我觉得我一直是那种喜欢自己跟自己反复琢磨想法的人。

I I I guess, like, I've always been the kind of person to bounce thoughts back with myself.

Speaker 0

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

作为一个性格稍微内向一点的人,我倾向于,而且我觉得很多人都有同感,就是想太多。

As someone with, like, a slightly more introverted personality, I I tend to just, like and I think a lot of people can relate just, like, overthinking a lot.

Speaker 0

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

对我来说,自我照顾就是,怎么避免陷入那种极端过度思考的恶性循环?

For me, self care becomes something that's, like, how do I avoid falling into these, like, toxic cycles of extreme overthinking?

Speaker 0

怎么在工作与娱乐之间找到平衡?

How can I, like, find balance with work and play?

Speaker 0

还有怎么提升对自己的看法?

And how can I improve my own perception of myself?

Speaker 0

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

所以我觉得,这样来看,它涵盖了所有方面,比如心理、身体、社交,所有这些健康维度之类的。

So I guess, like, in that way, it encompasses everything in terms of, like, mental, physical, social, all all of those, like, dimensions of well-being and stuff.

Speaker 1

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

所以,我也不知道。

So yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 0

当我想到自我照顾时,它就像一团乱七八糟的东西,而不是一个有条理的一团东西。

When I imagine self care, it's like a blob of stuff rather than like an organized A blob of stuff.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

就像不是一张有条理的图表,比如这是怎么照顾自我关怀的哪一部分,然后这个,对。

Like rather than like an organized chart of like, this is how I take care of this part of self care and like this Yeah.

Speaker 0

你懂的。

You know.

Speaker 1

我觉得这很有意思。

I think that's interesting.

Speaker 1

就像,关于你提到的那些方面,如果你觉得自己某方面做得不太好,比如身体健康,它就会开始影响到你的心理健康。

It's like, in regards to the dimensions that you're referencing, it's like, if you feel like you're not doing so well, like your physical health for example, it kind of starts bleeding into your mental health.

Speaker 0

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 1

然后这又会影响你的社交健康。

And that starts bleeding into your social health.

Speaker 1

接着可能还会影响到你的工作,以及你在工作中的表现之类的。

And then that could bleed into, you know, your work and how you're, you know, performing at work and stuff like that.

Speaker 1

所以自我关怀真的涉及很多方面,这点挺有意思的。

So it's really interesting how self care is so many facets of it.

Speaker 1

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 1

有时候 trying to figure out 到底什么对自己有效,或者什么能让自己感觉更好,确实会让人觉得有点不知所措。

And it can be overwhelming at times trying to figure out, you know, what will exactly work for me or what will make me feel better.

Speaker 1

所以我觉得自我关怀因人而异,关键要看你喜欢做什么,以及什么能让你感觉好起来。

So that's why it feels like self care differs per person and it really depends on what you enjoy doing and what makes you feel better.

Speaker 1

确实是这样。

Definitely.

Speaker 2

这点说得很对。

That's a really good point.

Speaker 2

我觉得现在营销无处不在,占用了我们太多的注意力,尤其是在刷Instagram或者其他社交软件的时候,根本避无可避。

I feel like in the modern day with marketing taking up so much headspace now that it's, like, unavoidable when you're scrolling down Instagram or whatever.

Speaker 2

我感觉自我关怀这个概念已经被商业化得面目全非了,自从《公园与游憩》里那句‘好好犒劳自己’流行起来之后,嗯哼。

I just feel like the definition of self care has been so commodified where after the whole, like, treat yourself thing on Parks and Rec Mhmm.

Speaker 2

很多营销都把自我关怀塑造成一种放纵。

So much marketing has been done shaping self care as indulgence.

Speaker 2

比如,买这些蜡烛让你感觉更好。

So, like, buy all these candles to make you feel better.

Speaker 2

买这个,买那个,把钱都花在这上面。

Like, buy this, buy that, spend all your money on this.

Speaker 2

但我觉得自我关怀更应该注重内在的反思。

When I think self care should be a little bit more about, like, internal reflection.

Speaker 2

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 2

有时候我甚至不觉得自我关怀是那种好玩的事情。

I sometimes I don't even think of self care as stuff that's, like, fun.

Speaker 2

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 2

比如有时候我觉得面对恐惧也是一种自我关怀。

Like sometimes I think of I think it's self care to face your fears.

Speaker 2

比如直面焦虑,反思那些让你感觉不好的事情,然后去改进。

Like face your anxieties and reflect on stuff that's not making you feel well and improve upon it.

Speaker 0

对,没错。

So Mhmm.

Speaker 2

我也不确定。

I don't know.

Speaker 2

有时候我会觉得挺生气的,因为有些公司把自我关怀搞得那么轻浮、随便。

It makes me kind of mad when companies treat self care as something so like light and frivolous.

Speaker 1

感觉就像,只要你买了那些东西,你就觉得完成了自我关怀。

It's almost like, as long as you buy the stuff, you know, you'll have, you know, self care

Speaker 2

对。

Right.

Speaker 1

就是那个勾选项。

That check mark.

Speaker 1

好像这样就搞定了。

Like, you got it.

Speaker 1

你买了自我关怀的产品。

You've purchased self care.

Speaker 2

你买了这种苹果香料蜡烛。

You bought this apple spice candles.

Speaker 0

那就算完事了。

So you're in the clear.

Speaker 1

我知道。

I know.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

这点说得挺对的。

That's that's a good point.

Speaker 0

我觉得我是到了现在这个年纪,才开始认真考虑那些我称之为‘奢侈品’的东西的。

I think I only ever started thinking about, like, these I'll call them, like, luxuries when I was older, like, now at this age.

Speaker 0

但以前我年轻的时候,这些东西我根本不会想到是自我关怀。

But before when I was younger, these kinds of things like never even crossed my mind as self care.

Speaker 0

什么?

What?

Speaker 0

比如泡个澡,加点浴盐?

Taking like a bath with soaks?

Speaker 0

那时候我就觉得,哥们儿,我就是想洗干净而已。

Like that I'm just like, dude, I I'm just trying to like get clean here.

Speaker 0

就是冲个澡,然后该干嘛干嘛。

Like, I'm just taking a shower and like doing whatever I have to do.

Speaker 0

但现在我觉得,带着正确的心态去做这些事,确实会让人更放松一些。

But now I guess there is a sense where doing these certain things with the right mindset is a little more relaxing.

Speaker 0

而且确实有那种,哦,我要花一天时间在自己身上的感觉。

And it does have that kind of, like, oh, I'm trying to spend a day on myself kind of vibe.

Speaker 0

但糟糕的是,感觉好像我花了一天在自己身上,我就健康了。

But it it does suck that, like, it feels like, oh, since I spent this day on myself, I'm healthy now.

Speaker 0

或者说,我就觉得自己完全好了。

Or like, I'm just like completely okay now.

Speaker 0

有时候这更像是一种掩饰,差不多就是在社交媒体上炫耀一下。

It's more of a cover up sometimes, almost like a flex on social media.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

挺有意思的。

That's interesting.

Speaker 1

就像有些事是短期见效,有些感觉更长远。

It's like some things are very short term and some feel more long term.

Speaker 1

比如说,我打扫房间的时候,对我来说那就是一个立刻能做的自我照顾的行为。

For example, when I clean my room, that to me is like an immediate self care action that I can take.

Speaker 1

没错。

Right.

Speaker 1

我妈妈总是跟我说,只要你的房间干净,就能反映出你的心态怎么样。

Something that my mom always told me, like, as long as your room is clean, like, it's such a reflection of how your mind is.

Speaker 1

所以这也是我一直以来都会注意的一点。

So that's like one of the things that I always keep in check.

Speaker 1

但我觉得这有时候只是短期的,因为房间很快又会变得乱七八糟。

But I feel like that's obviously short term sometimes because it just gets messy again pretty quickly.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

但我后来意识到,对我来说,经常去健身房、保持规律的锻炼计划,并且坚持运动,花时间去投资自己的身体健康,这比偶尔练一次然后放弃要重要得多,也有效得多。

But something that I've realized is to me, like, going to the gym pretty often, like, having a, like, a schedule, being consistent with working out, you know, taking the time to invest in, like, my physical health is much more important or it has been more effective than working out once, you know, and then giving up on it.

Speaker 1

然后,你知道的,当我对自己的身体感觉不对劲或者有其他状况时,我会重新拾起锻炼的习惯,再次开始运动。

And then, you know, picking it back up when I feel weird about my body or something and then I have to work out again.

Speaker 1

所以我觉得在这个方面,坚持是非常关键的一点。

So I think consistency is such a huge key in that realm.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

确实如此。

Definitely.

Speaker 2

我觉得自我照顾不应该被看作是一种快速的解决办法。

I feel like self care shouldn't be seen as, like, a quick fix.

Speaker 2

而且它的营销方式有点像那种速效心态,我觉得。

And the way that it's marketed is kind of like a quick fix mentality, I think.

Speaker 2

但是,Aileen,我觉得你提出了一个很好的观点。

But, Aileen, I think you bring up such a good point.

Speaker 2

比如,自我照顾绝对应该融入你的日常,并且长期坚持下去。

Like, self care should definitely be into your routine and stay there for the long run.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

我喜欢你说的关于打扫房间的事情,因为我在大学时经常跟别人说,我房间的状态基本上反映了我有多忙。

I like what you said about cleaning your room because, I used to tell people in college, like, the state of my room is basically how busy I am.

Speaker 0

所以,如果它真的很……

So like, if it's really

Speaker 1

哦,我知道。

Oh, I know.

Speaker 0

如果房间很干净,那我大概就是,你懂的,一切都处理好了,一切都在掌控之中。

If it's really clean, I'm probably like, you know, everything's handled, everything's under control.

Speaker 0

基本上我的生活很平衡。

I have good balance in my life, basically.

Speaker 0

但如果房间乱得不行,那我可能压力超大,都没时间打理生活的那方面。

But if it's like hella messy, then I'm probably super stressed and like haven't had time to like take care of that aspect in my life.

Speaker 1

我觉得自我照顾的一部分就是对自己宽容一点,别对自己太苛刻,事情不完美的时候也别太焦虑。

I think part of self care is like being easy on yourself, not being too hard on yourself, and, not getting too worked up when things aren't perfect.

Speaker 1

所以我觉得就是要有那种心态,就是你可以暂时掉链子,然后再把自己拉起来。

So I think just having that mental, I guess, mental idea that you can fall off for a little bit and just pick yourself back up.

Speaker 1

我觉得对自己好一点,对实践自我照顾来说非常重要。

I think being nice to yourself is huge and important for practicing self care.

Speaker 1

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

我觉得我们之前提到过,但自我照顾是随着你不断变化的。

I think we kind of mentioned this earlier, but like self care is something that's forever evolving with you.

Speaker 0

对我来说,小时候,还是个小孩子的时候,我根本没把自我照顾放在心上。

I know for me, like when I was younger, just a kid, I I didn't have self care as something that was on the forefront of my mind.

Speaker 0

那时候它更像是融入了我日常的言行举止里。

It was more something that was like blended in with my everyday actions and stuff.

Speaker 0

我甚至都没意识到自己做的某些事情其实是在照顾自己。

I I I like didn't even realize I was doing certain things for self care.

Speaker 0

但现在回头看,回想起来,我会觉得,哇,那时候的我挺成熟的。

And but then like when I look back at it and I reflect reflect on on it, it, I'm I'm like, like, oh, that was, like, very mature of me.

Speaker 0

或者说,我当时在那个情况下做了个明智的决定。

Or, like, that was a good decision that I made in the situation.

Speaker 0

举个例子吧,我上的那所高中竞争特别激烈,压力特别大。

I guess, like, one example is that the high school that I went to is very, like, competitive and intense.

Speaker 0

那所学校以培养顶尖学生而出名,大家都这么说。

And it's known to be pumping out all these, like, top students or whatever.

Speaker 0

这压力特别大,因为你会觉得,如果我不是那些顶尖学生之一,那我在这个学校就算差的了,对吧。

And that's, like, a lot of pressure because then you feel like, well, if I'm not one of those top students, then I'm just, like, considered bad in this school when Mhmm.

Speaker 0

你会拿自己和全国平均水平,或者某种平均线去比较。

You, like, compare yourself to the national average or, like, some kind of average.

Speaker 0

你觉得自己挺不错的。

You're pretty good.

Speaker 0

你觉得表现还过得去。

You're like doing fine.

Speaker 0

有个例子能很好地说明这一点:考SAT的时候,如果你数学拿了满分,但跟你们高中的平均分一比,这个满分大概只排到第七十百分位。

Something that kinda like encapsulates that really well is for the SATs, if you get a full score in math and you get compared to like my high school's average, full score is like seventieth percentile.

Speaker 1

哇。

Wow.

Speaker 1

天哪。

Damn.

Speaker 0

也就是说,大概有30%的人数学能拿满分。

So that means that like 30% of the people get like full scores in math.

Speaker 0

所以真是……哎哟。

So it's like Oh

Speaker 1

对。

my Yeah.

Speaker 0

这确实是个很有意思的处境。

It's like really an interesting place to be in.

Speaker 0

就我个人而言,我觉得自己不是那种特别学术型的人。

And then me personally, like, I would say that I'm like, not one of those super academic people.

Speaker 0

我觉得我能找到自己的路,但我绝对不是那种特别擅长理工科或者特别厉害的人。我读教科书都有困难,你懂的,这样你就知道我的水平了。

I think like, I can find my way, but I'm definitely not one of those like, extremely STEM or like super I I have trouble reading textbooks if that, you know, puts things into perspective.

Speaker 0

所以我做的事情就是更专注于那些能让我开心的事。

So like, what I did was I focused on doing things that would bring me joy more.

Speaker 0

比如我做了很多事,像加入年鉴社,学了设计,后来这成了我的职业。

So like, I did a lot of things like, I joined Yearbook and I learned how to do design, which eventually became my career.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

所以我尽量不让自己陷进那些学术的条条框框里。

So I I tried not to get so caught up in all this like academic mumbo jumbo.

Speaker 0

而且我觉得这对我的未来和现在都挺有帮助的。

And I think it worked out well for me in the future and now.

Speaker 0

Crystal,你是怎么处理

Crystal, how did you deal

Speaker 1

这种情绪上的问题的?

with that emotionally?

Speaker 1

比如,不去和别人比较,尤其是当每个人都在取得那么多成就的时候。

Like, not comparing yourself to others, especially when everyone's, you know, accomplishing so much.

Speaker 0

嗯。

Uh-huh.

Speaker 0

我觉得,我还是会和别人比较。

I think, like, I still compared myself to others.

Speaker 0

这是不可避免的。

It's inevitable.

Speaker 0

我试着通过想自己在那些想要成长的方面做得不错,来缓解心理上的不适。

I tried to quell my, like, mental discomfort by thinking about, like, well, I think I'm doing well personally in these areas that I'm trying to grow in.

Speaker 0

而且我觉得,这个领域人少一点,反而对我有帮助。

And I I think it even helped that there was, like, less of a crowd in this area.

Speaker 0

因为人少,竞争环境就没那么激烈。

And so because there's, like, less people in there, it's a less competitive environment.

Speaker 0

所以我觉得这本身就有帮助。

So I think that in itself helped.

Speaker 0

就是,可比较的人少了。

Just that, like, there's less people to compare yourself to.

Speaker 1

所以这几乎就像是你意识到什么让你开心,然后专注于把更多时间花在这些爱好上,而不是那些你个人觉得不太擅长的领域,比如学业之类的。

So it's almost like you recognize what made you happy and then honed in on, you know, spending more of your time on those type of hobbies compared to areas that you personally didn't feel like you were super strong at, like academics or something.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

我觉得这真的是一个很好的方法,而且对这么年轻的人来说,绝对是一个成熟的决定。

I feel like that's a really good approach and definitely a mature decision for someone who is so young.

Speaker 2

因为有时候,我觉得人们可能只关注竞争,而不一定去审视自己的内心。

Because sometimes, like, I think people can focus on just the competition and not necessarily look internally.

Speaker 2

所以我觉得如果我在那种情况下,我会想,哦,糟糕。

So I feel like if I were in that situation, I'd be like, oh, shit.

Speaker 2

比如,我得学习或者做点什么,好让自己跟别人做得一样。

Like, I need to study or do this so that I'm, like, matching what other people are doing.

Speaker 2

但我不会注意到自己内在的优势。

But I wouldn't have noticed my internal strengths.

Speaker 2

所以我觉得你那么年轻就能做到这一点,真的很明智。

So I think it's really wise that you did that at such a young age.

Speaker 2

哇。

Wow.

Speaker 2

谢谢。

Thanks.

Speaker 0

不过我觉得,在常规学业方面,我确实能达到一定的标准,这也许有帮助。

I I think it did help though that, like, I I was able to meet, like, a certain standard, I guess, in terms of regular studies.

Speaker 0

如果我在常规学习上真的很吃力,我觉得我父母不会同意,我自己也不会同意去做那些其他事情的。

If I was really, really struggling in regular studies, I don't think it would be okay with, like, my parents and, like, therefore me to, like, do these other things.

Speaker 0

这有点像认识到自己的平庸,然后意识到把时间花在其他事情上是可以的。

It it's kinda like recognizing your mediocracy and then, realizing that it's okay to spend time in other things.

Speaker 0

我觉得

I feel

Speaker 2

这让我想到,也许自我照顾就像是一种平衡,把各方面都理顺。

like that makes me think maybe self care is just kind of like a balancing act where you kind of smooth things out.

Speaker 2

我在想象,就像你在冒险岛里建角色,有力量、敏捷、运气这些属性,然后你把它们都加满。

I'm like imagining, you know, when you build a character in MapleStory and then you have, like, strength, dexterity, this and that, like, luck or whatever, and you're, like, maxing your stats.

Speaker 2

自我照顾就像是对这些属性的一次审视。

Self care is kinda like a review of that.

Speaker 1

我经常用的一种方法是回顾总结。

Something that I use a lot is retrospectives.

Speaker 1

你们经常做回顾总结吗?

Do you guys do retrospectives pretty often?

Speaker 1

基本上就是,我经常在洗澡的时候,就是花点时间反思一下自己几个月前甚至一年前的状态。

It's basically where you it could be I I do it a lot in the shower where you where you, like, just take a moment to reflect on where you were, like, a few months ago or even a year from today.

Speaker 1

然后你就试着想想你学到的所有东西,做过的所有事情。

And then you just try to think about all the things that you've learned, all the things that you've done.

Speaker 1

有时候人们会写下来,或者,我也不知道,就是给自己一个思考的空间。

Sometimes people write it down or I don't know just that exercise of giving yourself that space to think.

Speaker 1

你们以前做过这个吗?

Have you guys done that before?

Speaker 2

我从来没有刻意坐下来做过,但我觉得有时候那些想法会突然冒出来,尤其是当我注意到某件事的时候,我就会想,哇。

I've I've never explicitly, like, sat down to do it, but I feel like sometimes that those thoughts pop up in my head, especially when I notice something and I'm like, wow.

Speaker 2

我已经不再有这个有害的习惯循环了。

I don't have this toxic habit loop anymore.

Speaker 2

我真棒。

Go me.

Speaker 0

我觉得,当我的生活中发生大事的时候,我会这么做。

I think, like, when big events happen in my life, I do.

Speaker 0

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

比如我们大学毕业的时候,我就想,哇。

Like, when we graduated college, I was like, woah.

Speaker 0

四年前我们还在上高中呢。

Just four years ago, we were in high school or whatever.

Speaker 0

我们走了好远的路。

We've come a long way.

Speaker 0

或者,比如找到第一份工作的时候。

Or, like, getting your first job.

Speaker 0

你会想,天哪。

You're like, oh, shit.

Speaker 0

现在我也进入职场了。

Like, now I'm in the workforce.

Speaker 0

然后,是的。

And then yeah.

Speaker 0

所以对我来说,当大事发生的时候,我会有点怀旧,会想起这些事情。

So I I I for me, it's like when big events happen, I kind of get, like, retrospective and think about all this stuff.

Speaker 1

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 2

哦,那太有意思了,因为我觉得对我来说,遇到大事的时候我确实会那样。

Oh, that's so interesting because I feel like for me, it's definitely with the big events I do do that.

Speaker 2

但我在小胜利的时候也会有那种感觉。

But I get that feeling so much with, like, small victories.

Speaker 2

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 2

所以是的。

So yeah.

Speaker 2

就是那些我注意到自己不再做的小事。

Just, like, really small stuff that I notice I'm not doing anymore.

Speaker 1

嗯,我也一样。

Well, I'm like the same way.

Speaker 1

我确实几乎每天或者经常反思,一周好几次。

I do I definitely reflect almost every day or pretty often, like multiple times a week.

Speaker 1

这不是正式的反思时间,但我对和别人的对话,或者在工作中走出舒适区做的事情,都会想很多。

It's not like an official, like reflection period, but I I think I reflect a lot on even conversations that I have with people or, things that I've done out of my comfort zone at work.

Speaker 1

我会想,嘿,你知道吗,如果一年前我这么做,我肯定会搞砸。

I'll reflect like, hey, you know, if I would have done this a year ago, I totally would have just done horribly or something.

Speaker 1

所以对我来说,就是尽量奖励自己每一个小的进步,这些进步如果没有成长或挑战自己,我是不会做到的。

So for me, it's like trying to reward myself for any any small win that I do that I wouldn't have otherwise done, you know, without growing or challenging myself.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

我真的很喜欢这样。

I really like that.

Speaker 2

我觉得我们现在这个时代,特别容易对自己太苛刻,尤其是社交媒体兴起之后,每个人看起来都在庆祝生活中发生的好事。

I feel like we, in the modern day, have such a tendency to be so hard on ourselves, especially with, like, the rise of social media where everyone seems to always be celebrating something awesome that happened in their life.

Speaker 2

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 2

这样一来,我们就失去了对小小胜利的 appreciation,或者说可能会失去对它们的感激。

That we lose appreciation or we can lose appreciation for small victories.

Speaker 2

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 1

当我觉得

When I

Speaker 2

那些最重要的变化和成就,其实都是些小事,而这些小事往往是最难改变的。

feel like the changes and achievements that matter the most are small things that can be a little bit difficult to change about yourself.

Speaker 2

所以我真的很喜欢你每天都会花时间去反思这些,因为我觉得对自己的状态有个检查很重要。

So I really love that you take the time every day to do that because I think it's important to have, like, a pulse check of your

Speaker 0

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

成就。

Accomplishments.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我喜欢这种脉搏检查。

I like that pulse check.

Speaker 1

这真是,怎么说呢,完美的说法,完美地概括了这一点。

That's that's, like, the perfect phrase that encapsulates that.

Speaker 2

那我想问问,你们觉得自我保健中最重要的部分是什么?

So I guess what do you guys think are some of the biggest elements in your self care routine?

Speaker 2

现在隔离期间,有没有什么不同?

And is it any different now that we're quarantined?

Speaker 1

嗯,我觉得一个很大的变化就是和所有朋友保持良好关系并维持下去。

Well, I think something that's been, like, a big transition is having a good relationship with all my friends and maintaining it.

Speaker 1

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 1

特别是现在隔离期间,我们唯一的交流方式就是线上。

So especially now in this quarantine time, our only way of communicating is virtually.

Speaker 1

所以我觉得,或者说往回说,总的来说,拥有真正的好朋友,身边围绕着一群积极向上的人,总是能激励我变得更好,这本身就是一种自我保健。

So I feel like now or to backpedal, I think in general, having, really good friends and surrounding myself with really empowering people always encouraged me to better myself and is kind of a kind of a form of self care in itself.

Speaker 1

所以特别是在现在这种隔离时期,大家很容易就待在家里,不怎么跟人交流,每天就那么被动地过,对吧?

So especially now in these quarantine times, it's really easy for people to kind of, you know, stay in their homes, you know, not really talk to anyone, just, you know, live every day just passively?

Speaker 1

被说中了。

Called out.

Speaker 1

没有。

No.

Speaker 1

没有。

No.

Speaker 1

但我觉得因为我们在隔离,你知道,我们依赖虚拟方式来,嗯,

But I think because we're quarantined, you know, we rely on virtual methods to Mhmm.

Speaker 1

联系彼此。

Contact each other.

Speaker 1

而且即使你以为你待在家里,我们却在《动物森友会》里聊天。

And even even though you think that you're staying home, we're on Animal Crossing talking to each other.

Speaker 0

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

天哪。

Oh my god.

Speaker 0

我和艾琳,还有我们另一个朋友,我们差不多每隔一两天就会聚一次,对。

Me me and Eileen and like one of our other friends have been just like we meet up like every other or like every two days Yeah.

Speaker 1

在动物

On Animal

Speaker 2

森友会。

Crossing.

Speaker 2

我

I

Speaker 1

很喜欢。

love that.

Speaker 2

太可爱了。

That's so cute.

Speaker 1

甚至我买东西的时候,也会想到,你知道,想到哪个朋友会需要它。

Or even when I'm buying something, I'll think of, you know, think of a friend that would benefit from it.

Speaker 1

所以前几天,Crystal 让我帮她买了个发带。

So literally the other day, Crystal asked me to buy her a headband.

Speaker 1

然后我就,哦对。

So I Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1

我真的给她买了个发带寄过去了。

I literally bought her a headband and sent it to her.

Speaker 1

或者像 Camille,她就给我买了个皮包,我平时一直背的那个。

Or even Camille, she bought me like a leather bag that I always wear in real life.

Speaker 1

天哪。

Oh my god.

Speaker 0

Camille 是我们那期讲热情的那集里的。

Camille's from our passion episode.

Speaker 0

我想好像是,哦对。

I think it was like Oh, yeah.

Speaker 0

是我们早期的一集。

One of our earlier episodes.

Speaker 0

所以如果你们还没看过她,就去看看吧。

So check her out if you guys haven't already.

Speaker 0

硬广一下。

Shameless plug.

Speaker 0

不过,是的。

But, yeah.

Speaker 0

但说实话,做这些小事真的让人很满足。

But honestly, doing these small things is so it's so satisfying too.

Speaker 0

有一次,我在动物森友会的商店里,看到一个饰品架,我就想,哇,这让我想到艾琳。

One time, I was in my Animal Crossing shop and there was this like accessory stand and I was like, wow, this makes me think of Aileen.

Speaker 0

所以我就直接发给她了。

So I just like sent it to her.

Speaker 1

我超喜欢。

I love it.

Speaker 1

它就在我卧室里。

It's in my, bedroom.

Speaker 1

我的动物森友会卧室。

My Animal Crossing bedroom.

Speaker 0

我们就像,这是现实生活还是动物森友会?

We're like, is this real life or is this Animal Crossing?

Speaker 1

我知道。

I know.

Speaker 1

让我澄清一下。

It's Let me let me clarify.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

但即使前几天,是我朋友路易丝的生日。

But even even like the other day, it was my friend Louise's birthday.

Speaker 1

所以我们都在Zoom上。

So we all went on Zoom.

Speaker 1

我们为她干了一杯。

We took a shot for her.

Speaker 1

哎呀。

Aw.

Speaker 1

所以,就是这些小事让我觉得和朋友更亲近了。

So just these little things have actually made me feel a lot closer to my friends.

Speaker 1

我也不知道。

I don't know.

Speaker 1

我觉得隔离不应该让人觉得是一种限制或束缚。

I think quarantine shouldn't feel like a restriction or a limitation.

Speaker 1

我觉得我们都找到了办法来维持友谊。

I think we've all kind of figured out workarounds for us to still maintain friendships.

Speaker 1

而且我觉得这真的帮助我们照顾自己,加深了这些关系。

And I think that's really helped, you know, us practice self care and really build on those relationships.

Speaker 2

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

我觉得这让大家更加珍惜和感激这些联系。

I think it makes like there's a part of it that makes everyone a little more appreciative and grateful for like having all these connections.

Speaker 0

你会想,哦,通常我其实经常和所有朋友一起出去玩。

You're like, oh, well, usually, I actually hang out with a decent amount with all my friends.

Speaker 0

然后你会想,哇。

And then you're like, wow.

Speaker 0

我真的很幸运。

I'm like pretty lucky.

Speaker 0

我有很多很棒的朋友。

I have a lot of great friends.

Speaker 0

即使我们只是被困在家里,我还是应该努力去联系他们什么的。

I should still put in the effort to like connect and stuff even though we're just like stuck at home.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

其实挺有趣的,因为在隔离之前,我想跟别人视频通话,但我会有点紧张,因为他们可能在上班或者很忙。

Actually, it's funny because before quarantine times, I'd want to FaceTime people but I would get a little nervous because maybe they were at work or they were busy.

Speaker 1

但现在我会想,你也没别的事可做。

But now, I'm like, you have nothing else to do.

Speaker 1

我会给你打FaceTime的。

I'll I'll FaceTime you.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我就直接给你打FaceTime,因为我知道你在家。

I'm just gonna FaceTime you because I know you're at home.

Speaker 0

没错。

True.

Speaker 0

没错。

True.

Speaker 0

你会说,哥们,没借口了。

You're like, dude, there's no excuse.

Speaker 2

我觉得在这次隔离期间,自我照顾对我来说跟你们有点不一样。

I feel like self care has been a little bit different for me from you guys in this quarantine.

Speaker 2

我觉得在我正常生活中,嗯。

I would say that in my normal life Mhmm.

展开剩余字幕(还有 480 条)
Speaker 2

我以前总是把时间排得满满的,都是和朋友约好的计划。

I would always, like, fill up all my time with plans with friends.

Speaker 2

所以到了那种程度,如果一个计划被取消了,我会立刻用和别人相处的时间来填补那个空档。

So it it was to the point where like if one of my plans got canceled, I would immediately like fill up that time slot with time with someone else.

Speaker 2

哇。

Woah.

Speaker 2

因为我总是想维持我的关系,确保自己在每个人的生活中都还有位置,而且有时间跟别人聊聊天。

Because I just like always wanted to maintain my relationships and make sure that, I was staying relevant in everyone's lives and I had time to like catch up with people.

Speaker 2

但现在我们被隔离了,我实际上没法那样做了。

But now that we're quarantined, it's like I physically can't do that.

Speaker 2

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 2

而且我完全不是那种喜欢打电话的人。

And I'm totally not like a phone call kind of a person.

Speaker 2

所以其实能有这么多时间独处,感觉还挺不错的。

So it's been pretty nice actually to just have all this time to myself.

Speaker 2

我和詹姆斯住在一起,但他也很内向。

And I do live with James, but he's also very introverted.

Speaker 2

所以我们一直给对方留出足够的空间。

So we've been, like, giving each other good amount of space.

Speaker 2

而且我在做那些我一直觉得没时间做的事情。

And I'm, like, doing all these things that I always felt like I didn't have time for.

Speaker 2

所以我觉得等隔离结束后,我会觉得这段时间真是很好的反思期,确保我有足够的时间独处,因为那是我最有效率、最放松的时候。

So I feel like once quarantine is over, I'm like, this has been such a good reflection period of making sure I get all this time to myself because that's when I get the most productive and relaxed, I think.

Speaker 0

那很好。

That's good.

Speaker 0

天哪。

Oh my god.

Speaker 0

说到你安排得满满的日程。

Speaking of, like, you filling up your schedule.

Speaker 0

前几天,我在给智秀发短信,我说,哥们,我今天早上醒来,突然有一种顿悟,如果我们不是在隔离期,人们会问,嘿。

The other day, I was texting Jisoo and I was like, dude, I woke up this morning and I just I just had a sudden moment of, like, thought and clarity where if we weren't in quarantine, people would have been asking, like, hey.

Speaker 0

这个周末我们出去吧,或者,这个周末我们聚一聚。

Let's go out this weekend or, like, let's hang out this weekend.

Speaker 0

然后我就想,天哪,自从隔离以来我都没收到过这样的短信,感觉太好了。

And I was like, dude, I have not gotten a text like that for as long as we've been quarantined and it's so great.

Speaker 1

我跟Crystal说,有个梗是这样的,隔离,那就是我的日常生活。

I was telling Crystal there's this meme that's like, quarantine, that's my normal life.

Speaker 2

太搞笑了。

That's so funny.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

然后我就想,天哪,其实对我来说,我并不是很喜欢老是出去。

And I was just like, dude, like, it's so I mean, because like me personally, I I don't love going out all the time.

Speaker 0

但通常为了见朋友,我还是会去的,嗯。

But I'll usually do it to like, see my friends and like Mhmm.

Speaker 0

基本上就是为了友谊吧。

Do it for the friendship basically.

Speaker 0

所以现在当我说,大家都没法出去玩了,

So now when I'm like, dude, everyone is forced to not hang out.

Speaker 0

我就觉得,天哪,这太棒了。

I'm like, dude, this is amazing.

Speaker 1

你们有没有那种时刻,有人约你出去,但你其实不想去,又不好意思拒绝?

It's it kind of like do you guys have moments where someone asks you to go out, but you feel obligated to go out and you don't wanna say no.

Speaker 1

而且你知道自己去了也不会开心,因为你就是特别想待着。

But you know you won't have a good time because you're just dying Yeah.

Speaker 1

对,

For

Speaker 0

绝对有。

Definitely.

Speaker 1

我觉得最近我一直在拒绝。

I think like recently, I've been saying no.

Speaker 1

我不想听起来很不好,但有时候我就是知道自己去了也不会开心,我就会直接跟朋友说,嘿,你知道的,我今晚其实更想待在家里。

I don't want it to sound bad, but sometimes where I just know that I wouldn't have a good time, I just let friends know like, hey, you know, I'd actually rather stay in tonight.

Speaker 1

而且令人惊讶的是,他们其实反应很好。

And surprisingly, they actually respond really well to it.

Speaker 1

就是坦诚相待。

Just being honest about it.

Speaker 1

因为我觉得以前我会编一些傻乎乎的借口,但说实话,直接坦诚反而让你更容易拒绝别人,嗯。

Because I feel like before in the past, I'd be like, oh, I'd make up some silly excuse, you know, like but honestly, just being honest upfront actually makes it a lot easier for you to, you know, just say no to things and Mhmm.

Speaker 1

尊重你自己的个人时间。

Respect your own, you know, personal time.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

这是个好建议。

That's a good tip.

Speaker 2

我觉得有时候很难,因为即使你拒绝了待在家里,我还是会有严重的错失恐惧症。

And I feel like, sometimes it's hard because even if you say no and you stay home, like, I I get the worst FOMO.

Speaker 2

所以如果我看到快拍或Instagram故事,我就会想,天哪。

So if I saw, like, Snaps or Instagram stories, I'd be like, damn.

Speaker 2

看起来挺好玩的。

That looks kinda fun.

Speaker 2

就像我现在在家,总觉得别人过得比我好。

Like, now that I'm home, you know, the grass is always greener.

Speaker 2

看着真有意思。

Like, that looks really fun.

Speaker 2

我也想去。

I wanna be there.

Speaker 2

不过我觉得隔离期间那种压力反而消失了,因为大家发的 Instagram 动态全是在烤面包,或者不知道什么汉堡之类的。

But I think quarantine has taken away that kind of pressure because everyone's Instagram stories is just like baking bread or I don't know, like, a hamburger.

Speaker 1

结果你自己也跟着去烤面包了。

Then you end up baking bread.

Speaker 2

天哪,连烤面包都让人有错失恐惧症。

Like, damn, the FOMO of bread.

Speaker 0

真的,就在两三周前,我们还聊过呢,说看到越来越多人开始烤面包。

Dude, literally, like, two two or three weeks ago, we talked about how, like, we were seeing more and more people bake bread.

Speaker 0

当时我在播客里没说什么,但心里想,我只看到一两个人在烤面包。

And at that time, I didn't say anything on the podcast, but, like, internally, I was like, I've only seen, like, one or two people bake bread.

Speaker 0

但现在,三个星期过去了,我看到的动态里几乎每隔一个就是烤面包。

But now, like, three weeks in, I I see, like, every other story is bread baking.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

太搞笑了。

So funny.

Speaker 1

等等。

Wait.

Speaker 1

烤面包真的很难。

Bread is really hard to bake.

Speaker 1

我改做珍珠奶茶了。

I try to do, boba instead.

Speaker 1

绝对不行。

Hell no.

Speaker 1

千万别自己做

Never make your

Speaker 2

珍珠,那太难了。

own That's so hard.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

千万别自己做珍珠。

Never make your own boba.

Speaker 1

我试过,结果根本做不成。

I tried it and I it like, it didn't even work.

Speaker 0

哥们,艾琳给我发了张照片,我说这看起来像麻婆豆腐。

Dude, Aileen sent a picture to me and I was like, this looks like Mapo tofu.

Speaker 0

哦。

Oh

Speaker 1

天哪。

my god.

Speaker 1

我真是太尴尬了。

I'm hella embarrassed.

Speaker 0

但我肯定味道还行吧。

But I'm sure it tasted fine.

Speaker 1

我的天。

Oh my god.

Speaker 1

不。

No.

Speaker 1

难吃死了。

It tasted like shit.

Speaker 1

那……哎呀,算了。

So Oh, no.

Speaker 1

总之,都是社交媒体害的。

Anyways, social media made me do it.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Okay?

Speaker 0

我觉得现在有很多人因为没玩《动物森友会》而感到焦虑。

I think now there's like a lot of Animal Crossing FOMO.

Speaker 1

哦,对。

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 0

我觉得在我买这个游戏之前,我确实有很多这种焦虑。

I feel like before I got the game, I definitely had a lot of Animal Crossing FOMO.

Speaker 1

哦,对。

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

你确实有。

You did.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我

I

Speaker 0

我当时特别兴奋,因为游戏终于要出了。

I was like excited excited that that the the game game was was coming coming out.

Speaker 0

出来。

Out.

Speaker 0

但后来看到那么多Snap和Instagram故事都在发,我对这游戏的期待简直翻了好几倍。

But then after seeing so many snaps and like Insta stories about it, my excitement for the game increased by like tenfold.

Speaker 1

我跟Crystal说,我花在《动物森友会》角色上的时间,比花在现实生活中还多。

I was telling Crystal that I've focused way more time on my Animal Crossing character than have in real life.

Speaker 1

比如我们这儿有个股市交易机制。

Like, we have this turn up stock exchange.

Speaker 1

我就想,我怎么不去看看现实里的股票呢?

I'm like, why am I not looking at real life stocks?

Speaker 1

我这是在干嘛呀?

What am I doing?

Speaker 2

真好笑。

That's so funny.

Speaker 2

你居然在投资那个

You're like investing in that

Speaker 1

世界。

world.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

但好在,总的来说,我们现在在社交媒体上感受到的错失恐惧,几乎更偏向自我关怀了。

But it is nice that like, overall, the FOMO that we get on social media now is almost like more self care centered.

Speaker 0

就像,哦,我错过了,我本可以培养烘焙技能,或者,我本可以自己做珍珠奶茶。

It's like, oh, I'm missing out on I could be building this bread baking skill or like, I could be making my own boba.

Speaker 0

所以,这几乎像是更有生产力的错失恐惧。

And so it's like, it's almost like more productive FOMO.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

确实。

That's true.

Speaker 2

不再是那种要出去玩的压力,但我觉得特别有意思的是,我总觉得亚裔美国人总是有一种不断追求自我提升或者做点什么事情的冲动。

Instead of, like, pressure to go out and but I I think it's so interesting because I I just have this thought that Asian Americans always have this, like, constant chase of wanting to, like, improve ourselves or, like, do stuff.

Speaker 2

所以我觉得即使在隔离期间,也有这种要高效利用时间的压力。

So I feel like even in this quarantine, there's all this pressure to be productive.

Speaker 2

我看到好多帖子说,如果你在隔离期间不发展自己的爱好,不提升自己,那以后不管多久你都不会变得高效。

Like, I saw so many posts that was like, if you're not working on your hobbies and you're if you're not working on yourself this quarantine, that that means no amount of time will ever make you productive.

Speaker 2

天哪。

So Oh my god.

Speaker 2

一定要确保你在做自己的项目。

Make sure that you're, like, doing your projects.

Speaker 2

然后我

And I

Speaker 0

这有点太激进了吧。

was That's like a little aggressive.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我当时就

And I was

Speaker 2

心想,伙计,这简直就像一场全球性的灾难,你知道的,比如疫情这种。

just like, dude, this is like a time of, you know, global tragedy almost like it's like a pandemic.

Speaker 2

那么多人都在死去。

So many people are dying.

Speaker 2

比如,脱离日常节奏是很正常的。

Like, it's normal to feel out of your routine.

Speaker 2

感到难过和抑郁也很正常,但还是会有那种压力,觉得你得去搞搞项目、做这做那的。

Like, it's normal to feel sad and depressed, but there's still this pressure to be like, oh, work on your projects, do this, do that.

Speaker 2

我就想,说实话,你现在其实完全可以安心放松一下,打打游戏什么的。

And I was like, honestly, you know, you should be okay with just, like, relaxing and, like, playing games right now.

Speaker 0

你懂我的意思吧?

You know what I mean?

Speaker 0

哥们,你看到那种攻击性很强的文章,真有意思。

Dude, that's funny that you saw an an aggressive article like that.

Speaker 0

因为就在前几天,我确实看到一篇文章,说你在隔离期间没时间提高效率?

Because just the other day, I actually saw an article that was like, oh, you don't have time to, like, be productive during this quarantine?

Speaker 0

说实话,这真的没关系。

That's honestly, like, okay.

Speaker 0

完全没关系。

That's totally okay.

Speaker 0

文章内容主要是讲一对年轻夫妇,我记得他们有两个挺小的孩子,大概上小学吧。

And the content was it was basically highlighting this young couple that had, I think they had two pretty young kids, like, elementary school, I think.

Speaker 0

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

然后他们说,哇。

And then they were saying like, oh, wow.

Speaker 0

我会有好多时间。

I'm gonna have so much time.

Speaker 0

比如把家里的墙重新刷一遍,然后打扫打扫、整理整理什么的。

Let's like repaint our walls in the house and like do a bit of cleaning and reorganizing and stuff like that.

Speaker 0

他们一开始特别兴奋。

Like, they were so hyped up in the beginning.

Speaker 0

结果两周后,他们原本的计划什么都没做成,因为他们得照顾孩子,孩子们现在整天在家,还要支持他们上网课、辅导作业。

And then, like, two weeks later, they're they had nothing done in their original plans because they had to, like, they had to take care of their kids who are, like, home all day now and supporting them, doing the online classes, and, like, helping with homework.

Speaker 0

对。

And Mhmm.

Speaker 0

现在他们一家人在一起的时间更多了。

They're more readily available as a family now.

Speaker 0

所以,就个人生产力而言,那倒没那么重要了,对他们来说更重要的是互相陪伴、放松一下。

So, like, in terms of, like, personal self, like, productivity, it wasn't as important, and it was more important for them to be, like, spending time with each other and relaxing.

Speaker 0

在这种乱七八糟的时候,不用太专注于自己也没关系。

Like, it's okay to not be so focused on yourself during this, like, whack time.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

这几乎就像是因为每个人都有那么多时间,他们觉得总想用有意义的活动来填满它。

It's almost like because everyone has so much time, they feel like they wanna fill it up with meaningful, you know, activities all the time.

Speaker 1

但有时候,你知道,看一整个周末的《养虎为患》也是可以的。

But sometimes it's it's okay to, you know, watch Tiger King for an entire weekend.

Speaker 2

太好看了。

So good.

Speaker 1

等等,如果——

If Wait.

Speaker 1

它是——

Is it

Speaker 0

一部剧还是——

a show or

Speaker 1

一部电影?

is it a movie?

Speaker 1

不是。

No.

Speaker 2

这是个剧。

It's a show.

Speaker 2

是个纪录片系列。

It's a docu series.

Speaker 2

我当时就想,你怎么

I was like, how are

Speaker 0

能看一整个周末?

you watching it for the whole weekend?

Speaker 0

我还以为是个电影呢。

I thought it was a movie.

Speaker 0

你

You

Speaker 2

看了三遍。

watch it three times.

Speaker 1

说实话,就是那么好看。

Honestly, it's that good.

Speaker 1

我可能会看三四遍。

I would be I'd be watching it three times, four times.

Speaker 1

开玩笑的啦。

I'm just kidding.

Speaker 1

不过我觉得,尤其是现在,大家开始意识到这一点。因为没法出门做点什么,那在家能做些什么来打发时间呢?

But I think I think especially now, like, people are realizing that, you know, because I can't go out and do something, you know, what can I do at home that'll fill up that time?

Speaker 1

而且适当休息一下也没关系,特别是居家办公的时候。

But it's so it's okay to take breaks, especially with working from home.

Speaker 1

这算是另一个话题,我们可以之后再聊。

That's like another, you know, another conversation that we can talk about.

Speaker 1

不过刚开始居家办公的时候,大家把我的日程排得满满当当,全是会议。

But working from home, when I first started doing it, everyone filled up my day with meetings like back to Wow.

Speaker 1

他们觉得既然你在家,时间不能浪费。

Because they were like, oh, you know, you there's no time wasted.

Speaker 1

反正不用走路去别的会议室开会,那就紧接着上午11点或者中午12点……不对,是下午12点之后的会接着开。

You're not walking to another meeting room, so let's just do it right after the 11AM or right after the 12AM or sorry.

Speaker 1

中午十二点。

12PM.

Speaker 1

所以对我来说,就是要真正抽出时间休息,认真享受午餐时间,并且明白即使我确实有更多时间,也不意味着我能承担更多工作,我的精力还是有限的。

So I think for me, it's like trying to take time off, like, really take those lunch breaks and just trying to understand that even though, yeah, I do have more time, it doesn't mean that I can take up more work or my bandwidth is still my bandwidth.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

就是这些。

Things like that.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

我觉得这正好说明了大家在隔离期间心态的变化。

I think that's, like, the perfect example of how everyone's mindset has been changing throughout this quarantine.

Speaker 2

比如,当加州刚宣布居家令的时候,我觉得每个人都觉得,哦,这是把所有之前没时间做的事情都做完的好机会。

Like, definitely when it first was announced and shelter in place was confirmed for California, I feel like everyone was like, oh, this is the perfect time to get everything done that I didn't have time for before.

Speaker 2

因为现在没有社交活动了,我有这么多空闲时间,所以我就把所有事情都揽下来。

Because now that I don't have social plans, like, I have all this free time, so I'll just take on all this shit.

Speaker 2

但我觉得大家开始意识到,第一,整天待在家里,很难把一天的时间划分开。

But I think people started to realize that one, it's like hard to break up your day when you're just home all the time.

Speaker 2

所以感觉工作和生活之间的界限变得模糊了。

So there's like less separation between work and home, I feel.

Speaker 2

而且,看到新闻里那么多悲剧,又不能见朋友,要让自己有动力去做事情,在情绪上确实有点难。

And also, it's just a little bit emotionally hard, I think, to feel super encouraged to do stuff when you see all this tragedy on the news and you're not able to see your friends.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

所以其实,在工作上,我的经理做了件挺有意思的事,他搞了个活动,说是强制参加的欢乐时光。

So actually, like, at work, my manager did this funny thing where he created an event and he was like, mandatory happy hour.

Speaker 0

第一次参加的时候,我们就是分享各自在家办公的经历,比如平时都怎么打发时间,工作怎么样,是变忙了还是变闲了,还有我们自己的感受。

So the first time we had it, we were just kinda sharing our experiences working from home and, like, what we've been filling our time with and like how work's been, if it's ramping up, ramping down, like how we feel about it.

Speaker 0

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

然后我有个同事,她说她很多时候都心不在焉的,因为在家办公,很难把家庭生活和工作分开。

And then one of my coworkers, she was like, I I'm just like out of it a lot of times because it's like, it's kind of hard to be at home and like separate your home from work and, like, work from home.

Speaker 0

然后她说,幸运的是,我的工作节奏慢了一些。

And so she was like, luckily for me, work has been a little slower.

Speaker 0

所以我有一些余地来调整自己,进入工作状态,把事情做完。

So I have a little bit of leeway to, like, gather myself and, like, get into that working mode, get things done.

Speaker 0

然后我就想,天哪。

And I was like, damn.

Speaker 0

我也是。

Me too.

Speaker 0

不过我的工作有点忙起来了。

Except my work has been ramping up a little bit.

Speaker 0

所以我就是有点不在状态。

So I'm just, like, out of it.

Speaker 0

我就是在强迫自己工作,这很难。

I'm, like, trying to force myself to work, and it's it's hard.

Speaker 0

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

所以就是这样。

So yeah.

Speaker 0

我觉得大多数人都有类似的经历,就是……

It I I think, like, most people have similar experiences where it's like

Speaker 1

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

在家办公确实有点别扭,得慢慢适应。

It's just kinda weird to work from home and you have to like adjust.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

确实。

For sure.

Speaker 1

最近帮到我很大的一个方法是,搞清楚家里哪些地方该用来工作,哪些地方该用来放松。

Something that's been really helping me is understanding what spaces in my house are for work and what spaces are for relaxation.

Speaker 1

所以我想我刚在家办公那会儿,是在沙发上工作的,因为那儿真的特别舒服。

So I think when I first started working from home, I worked on the couch because it's just really comfortable.

Speaker 1

就在窗户旁边。

It's right next to the window.

Speaker 1

但我发现这样工作效率不高,因为沙发也是我放松的地方。

But I realized that I wasn't being very productive because the couch is where I relax as well.

Speaker 1

所以,你知道,把工作和放松的空间混在一起,真的会影响你的工作效率。

So, you know, mixing work and relaxation spaces can really, confuse, I think your productivity.

Speaker 1

所以我现在的做法是,只在书桌或餐桌上工作,我觉得这样真的很有帮助。

So something that I've been doing is I only do my work at a desk or on the dinner table, which has been really helpful, I think.

Speaker 1

就是,强迫自己进入那种工作状态,因为我在那个区域。

Just, you know, forcing myself to get in that mind space because I'm in that area.

Speaker 1

然后,对。

And then Yeah.

Speaker 1

你知道,把沙发或床留作睡觉和放松用。

You know, reserving the couch or the bed just for sleep and relaxation.

Speaker 1

所以,嗯。

So Mhmm.

Speaker 2

这真是个很好的观点。

That's a really good point.

Speaker 2

我觉得,怎么说呢,我住在一个很小的单间公寓里,不知道为啥每期节目都要提这个。

I feel like what's been I mean, I live in a really small studio apartment, which I bring up every single episode for some reason.

Speaker 2

但是,我没有太多空间可以随意走动。

But, I don't have, like, the space to kind of move around too much.

Speaker 2

所以对我有帮助的是,早上起床后,我会有一个固定的流程:刷牙、喝咖啡,然后把睡衣换成运动裤。

So what's been helping me is when I get up in the morning, I, like, have a kind of a routine where I'll brush my teeth, get some coffee, and then I'll change out of my pajamas into sweats.

Speaker 2

然后我就觉得,这种感觉已经足够不同了,让我觉得,好吧。

And then I feel like, you know, it's different enough of a feeling where I'm like, okay.

Speaker 2

现在该去上班了。

Now it's time to go to work.

Speaker 1

等等。

Wait.

Speaker 1

你的睡衣和运动裤不是一样的吗?

Are your pajamas and sweats not the same thing?

Speaker 2

我的睡衣其实是那种成套的,就是配套的那种。

I my pajamas are, like, actual, like, matching sets kind

Speaker 1

成套的睡衣。

of pajamas.

Speaker 2

天哪,那也太可爱了吧。

Dude, that's so cute.

Speaker 1

真的太可爱了。

That is so cute.

Speaker 1

我还以为你会说,把睡衣换成牛仔裤之类的。

I was expecting you to say, like, change my pajamas into, you know, jeans or something.

Speaker 1

我刚才只是湿了。

I was just wet.

Speaker 2

绝对不。

Hell no.

Speaker 0

哥们,我记得好像有条推文说,如果隔离期间还穿牛仔裤,那说明你是什么样的人?

Dude, I think I think there was, like, a tweet that someone was, like, if you're wearing denim during this quarantine, like, what does that say about you?

Speaker 2

就像,你是个神经病。

Like, you're a psychopath.

Speaker 1

不过这话倒是挺对的。

That's pretty true though.

Speaker 1

我也有同感。

I feel it.

Speaker 1

我又没穿牛仔裤,所以也不知道为什么会期待你说牛仔裤。

I'm not wearing jeans, so I don't know why I expected you to say jeans.

Speaker 1

那你们觉得,等隔离结束后,你们会把哪些自我照顾的习惯带回正常生活里?

So what do you guys think about, you know, when quarantine is over, what type of self care practices are you guys going to take back to real normal normal life?

Speaker 1

现实生活其实不是真正的生活。

The real life is not real life.

Speaker 1

抱歉。

Sorry.

Speaker 2

我一直在想

I kept thinking

Speaker 1

关于动物的事。

about animal.

Speaker 1

我得提醒自己。

I had to remind myself.

Speaker 2

我喜欢这个问题。

I love that question.

Speaker 2

我觉得会是混合的,一方面会回到我平时的习惯,我以前下班后走路回家,我住的地方大概有一英里半远。

I think it's gonna be a mixture of, like, one settling back into my normal routine of, I used to just, like, walk home after work and I live about, like, a mile and a half ish away.

Speaker 2

所以走起来还挺远的。

So it's like a decent walk.

Speaker 2

我也会走路去上瑜伽课,大概也有一英里远。

And I would also walk to my yoga class, which is also like a mile ish away.

Speaker 2

所以我真的很期待能恢复上瑜伽课的习惯。

So I definitely am excited to get back into my yoga class routine.

Speaker 2

但我觉得我也会从这段隔离期学到一些东西,我觉得我需要一些独处的夜晚,可以看看电视,在书桌前做点事情,而不是总是忙着安排和别人见面。

But I think I'm also gonna have some takeaways from this quarantine period where I think I just need some evenings alone where I can just like watch TV and do stuff at my desk instead of always trying to fill up time, making plans with people.

Speaker 2

所以希望我学到了不要太过担心错过什么,也学会了如何享受独处的时光。

So hopefully, learned something about not missing too much FOMO and just in learning how to enjoy time by myself.

Speaker 2

你们呢?

How about you guys?

Speaker 1

其实我每天大概下午两三点的时候通常没什么会议。

I actually so every day around, like, two or 3PM is when I normally don't really have that many meetings.

Speaker 1

所以我和斯坦利会走去Vons超市。

So me and Stanley actually walk to Vons.

Speaker 1

不知道你还记不记得,从Play More到Vons大概要走十分钟。

I don't know if you remember, but from Play More to Vons, it's like a ten minute walk.

Speaker 1

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 1

我们每天都这样走一走,就为了呼吸点新鲜空气。

So we do that every day just to get some fresh air.

Speaker 1

所以我觉得我们会继续这样做,或者至少每天出去走走。

So I think we're gonna continue doing that or at least walk somewhere every day.

Speaker 1

对。

So yeah.

Speaker 1

就是给自己放个假,休息一下,然后从办公桌前站起来,离开你现在的那个思维状态。

It's it's just like taking the time off to give yourself, like, a time break and then getting yourself up from your desk and away from the mental space that you're currently in.

Speaker 1

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 1

另一件我想继续做的事是玩《动物森友会》。

Another thing that I wanna continue doing is Animal Crossing.

Speaker 1

不。

No.

Speaker 1

也许看看能坚持多久,但我觉得 definitely 要和朋友 FaceTime,多跟人保持联系,而不是 just 刷社交媒体,以为那样就能了解他们现在怎么样、在做什么。

Maybe we'll see how long that lasts, but just I think definitely, like, FaceTiming my friends, like, keeping more, up to date with people rather than, you know, just following social media and thinking that's enough for me to understand, you know, where they're at or, like, what they're doing.

Speaker 1

所以,要真正和人交流,发消息,诸如此类。

So, like actually communicating with people, texting them, stuff like that.

Speaker 0

这有点难。

This is hard.

Speaker 0

比如做早餐之类的。

Maybe like making breakfast.

Speaker 0

所以,嗯。

So like Mhmm.

Speaker 0

那挺好的。

So Nice.

Speaker 0

以前能上班的时候,我都是在公司吃早餐的。

Usually, when I could go to work, I would eat breakfast at work.

Speaker 0

所以工作日就解决了。

So like, the weekdays are already taken care of.

Speaker 0

但周末我喜欢多睡一会儿,然后早餐就变成午餐了。

But in terms of weekends, I like to sleep in a little more, and then like, my breakfast becomes lunch or whatever.

Speaker 0

然后周末吃饭就乱套了。

And then my meals are all fucked up on the weekends.

Speaker 0

所以也许,但是,现在我不能在公司吃早餐了。

So so maybe, like, after but but but, like, here, I can't get breakfast at work anymore.

Speaker 0

我现在就在家。

I'm just at home.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

所以早上我醒来后,会先快速看一下日历。

So in the mornings, I always wake up, just do a quick check of my calendar.

Speaker 0

然后下楼花个十到十五分钟做点鸡蛋或者随便弄点早餐。

And then I go downstairs and I spend like ten, fifteen minutes making some like eggs or like just making some kind of breakfast.

Speaker 0

然后回来,准备好开始工作。

And then I come back and I like get it settled to work.

Speaker 0

所以周末可能真的会做早餐并吃早餐。

So maybe like actually making breakfast and eating it on the weekends.

Speaker 0

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 1

我喜欢这样。

I love that.

Speaker 1

这虽然很简单,但吃早餐很重要。

It's like such a simple thing, but it's important to eat breakfast.

Speaker 2

这让我想起一个梗,当居家隔离、强制在家办公的消息宣布时,我记得有个亚洲人拍了个视频说,哦不。

That actually reminds me of this meme where once the shelter in place, like mandatory work from home was announced, I think, some Asian guy made a video saying like, oh, no.

Speaker 2

现在科技男们吃什么?

What will the tech bros eat now?

Speaker 2

现在他们的公司不提供

Now that their companies aren't providing them

Speaker 1

一日三餐了。

three meals a day.

Speaker 1

哦不。

Oh, no.

Speaker 1

等等。

Wait.

Speaker 1

那真的非常非常好笑。

That is really, really funny.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

我妈妈对细菌那些东西特别紧张。

I my mom is pretty paranoid about, like, all the germs and stuff.

Speaker 0

所以她连外卖都不让我点。

So she won't even let me order, like, delivery and stuff.

Speaker 0

所以我们吃的所有东西,我都得自己在厨房里翻找。

So all the food that we eat, I just have to, like, scavenge the kitchen and find stuff.

Speaker 0

而且我现在居然得自己做饭了。

And like, I actually have to cook now.

Speaker 0

你知道吗?

You know?

Speaker 0

就是,对。

It's like Yeah.

Speaker 0

感觉挺奇怪的。

It's like weird.

Speaker 0

这倒是真的。

That's something

Speaker 1

我们最近也经常做饭。

that we've been doing a lot more too is cooking.

Speaker 1

但我觉得隔离结束后,我还是会继续做饭,因为其实挺方便的。

But, so I feel like after quarantine, I'm I'm just gonna keep cooking because it's so much easier.

Speaker 1

好吧,其实我说谎了。

Well, actually, I lie.

Speaker 1

做饭并不容易。

It's not easier.

Speaker 1

只是说,这事儿还是能做的。

It's just it's it's doable.

Speaker 1

你懂吧?

You know?

Speaker 1

就是,既然我现在知道经常做饭其实没那么难,那我就可以把它纳入我的日常习惯了。

Like, now that I now that I know it's really not that hard to cook more often, now it's like I can incorporate that into my routine.

Speaker 1

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

这是在锻炼我的耐心。

It's practicing my patience.

Speaker 0

你知道,早在第三集的时候,我说过,我讨厌站在炉子旁边等水烧开之类的。

You know, way back in like the third episode, I said, I hate waiting by the stove for like the water to boil and stuff.

Speaker 0

我想我现在稍微好一点了。

I'm getting a little better at that, I guess.

Speaker 0

你没有那种

You don't have like

Speaker 1

哥们,你需要一个水壶。

a dude, you need a kettle.

Speaker 1

你应该买个水壶。

You should get a kettle.

Speaker 0

我有。

I do.

Speaker 0

我有。

I do.

Speaker 0

所以我现在就是,先把水烧开,然后倒进锅里,再放到

So what I do now is, like, I I I put boiling water in the pot, and then I put it on

Speaker 1

炉子上。

the stove.

Speaker 2

这就是

That's what

Speaker 1

我需要做的。

I need to do.

Speaker 1

生活小妙招。

Life hacks.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

好的。

Alright.

Speaker 2

我们换个话题,先不谈自我关怀,深入聊聊自我提升。

Let's shift gears a little bit and move away from the topic of self care and plunge a little deeper into self improvement.

Speaker 2

我觉得这两者确实有些重叠,但对我来说,自我关怀更像是情绪管理,而自我提升则更侧重于技能培养。

I feel like these, spheres kind of bleed into each other a little bit for sure, but I guess to me, self care feels a little bit more like emotional management while self improvement tends to be a little bit more on building skills.

Speaker 2

我也不确定。

I don't know.

Speaker 2

你们怎么看?

What do you guys think?

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

我觉得有道理。

I think that makes sense.

Speaker 0

还有,比如增强自信。

There's also, like, growing confidence.

Speaker 0

基本上,自我照顾就像是维护,而自我提升就是改进。

It's it's like, basically, self care is like maintenance and self improvement is improvement.

Speaker 1

对。

Yep.

Speaker 1

我同意这个说法。

I would agree with that.

Speaker 1

我也觉得自我提升更像是技能培养。

I agree that self improvement feels more like skills development.

Speaker 2

你们现在有没有正在进行的自我提升项目?

Do you guys have any self improvement projects that you're currently working on?

Speaker 1

有。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

几个月前我完成的一个提升项目就是跑了个十公里。

So one, I guess, improvement project that I did a few months ago was actually run a 10 k.

Speaker 1

哇。

Wow.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我并不是一个跑步的人。

I am not a runner.

Speaker 1

高中的时候,我特别怕跑一英里。

In in high school, I dreaded the mile run.

Speaker 1

好像每年都得跑一次。

Like, we had to do that every year or something.

Speaker 1

我讨厌跑步。

I hated running.

Speaker 1

我觉得自己更擅长短跑,但我就是想给自己找个挑战目标,而且我知道跑步是个不错的选择。

I think I was a lot better at short distance running, but I just wanted to have like a personal challenge to work towards and I knew that running was a good one.

Speaker 1

所以我告诉自己,嗯,我做的第一件事就是和同事们一起报名了。

So I told myself well, the first thing I did was me and my coworkers actually signed up for it.

Speaker 1

有人一起为目标努力,真的帮了我很多,让我顺利跑到了终点。

So having people that work towards it with me really helped me run through the finish line.

Speaker 1

但是,嗯。

But Mhmm.

Speaker 1

我告诉自己,我报名了十公里跑,因为半程马拉松我绝对跑不了。

I told myself, I signed up for the 10 k because hell no, could I do a half marathon?

Speaker 1

所以我给自己设定了一个合理的挑战,我知道自己可以努力去完成。

So I gave myself like a reasonable challenge that I knew that I could work towards.

Speaker 1

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 1

我给自己定了一个时间表。

I gave myself like a timeline.

Speaker 1

所以我有两个月的时间来训练十公里跑。

So I had two months to like, you know, train for the 10 k.

Speaker 1

然后我告诉自己,至少每周要跑三到四次,然后慢慢增加跑步量,朝着十公里,也就是六点五英里,去努力。

And then I told myself I had to, you know, at least every week try to run, like, three or four times a week and then just slowly increase the amount that I was running, to work towards a 10 k, which is six and a half miles.

Speaker 1

所以我基本上对自己说,好吧,艾琳,如果你不训练,你会受伤的。

So I basically told myself, alright, Aileen, if you don't train, you're going to injure yourself.

Speaker 1

为了

For

Speaker 2

安全起见。

like safety purposes.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以为了安全起见,我逼自己去跑。

So for safety purposes, I forced myself to do it.

Speaker 1

但因为我已经报名了,也没办法退出。

But because I already signed up for it, I had no way of backing out.

Speaker 1

所以基本上就是每周多跑一点。

So I basically just ran a little bit more each week.

Speaker 1

等到十公里比赛那天,其实完全没问题。

And then when the 10 k came, it was actually totally doable.

Speaker 1

但在那过程中,我和同事会一起想办法,比如怎么跑、该准备什么样的歌单、听什么音乐。

But throughout that process, like me and my coworkers would try to come up with strategies of how we should run, what type of playlist we should plan out, what type of music.

Speaker 1

所以其实真的非常有趣。

So it's actually like really, really fun.

Speaker 1

现在这已经成了我实际会做的事情,比如我经常跑步来照顾自己。

And now it's something that I actually use like I run a lot for my self care.

Speaker 1

所以它逐渐融入了我的身体健康和心理健康。

So it kind of bleeded into my physical health and my mental health.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以现在每当我感到焦虑或者在家里坐不住的时候,我就会出去跑跑步。

So now I whenever I feel any sort of anxiety or I'm really antsy in the house, I actually go out on a run.

Speaker 1

这真的有助于理清我的思绪。

And that really helps clear up my mental space.

Speaker 2

哇。

Wow.

Speaker 2

那太棒了。

That's awesome.

Speaker 2

我觉得那是个大工程。

I think that's a big project.

Speaker 1

说实话,真的挺难的。

It was really challenging, not gonna lie.

Speaker 1

但我告诉自己,你知道,我身体上能跑完十公里。

But I told myself that, you know, I've I can physically run the 10 k.

Speaker 1

这完全是心理上的问题。

It's all mental.

Speaker 1

很多时候,比如跑到第二三英里的时候,我就会想,天哪,绝对不行。

There's so many times where it's like my second or third mile where I'm like, dude, hell no.

Speaker 1

我真的想停下来。

Like, I wanna stop.

Speaker 1

我为什么要报名这个?

Like, why did I sign up for this?

Speaker 1

但我知道,因为我训练过,你知道,我身体上能跑完并完成它。

But I know because I've trained for it, you know, that I can physically run and finish it.

Speaker 1

就是告诉自己要坚持下去。

It's just telling myself to keep going.

Speaker 2

所以我觉得我的自我提升项目更像是一种技能,其实也不算。

So I think my self improvement project is kind of a skill, not really.

Speaker 2

就是说,它并不是那种可以拿出来炫耀的技能,或者让你特别有成就感的东西。

Like, it's not really like a skill that I can show off or, you know, be externally super happy about.

Speaker 2

但我觉得对我来说,这是一个很大的进步。

But I think it's a really big improvement for myself.

Speaker 2

这有点不好意思说,但就像我之前提到的,还有在其他几期节目里也说过,我有点像是压力型进食的人。

So this is a little embarrassing, but like I've mentioned earlier and in some of my other episodes, I'm kind of like a stress eater.

Speaker 2

更糟糕的是,我还会因为无聊就乱吃零食。

And worse than that, I'm like a bored snacker.

Speaker 2

所以现在,如果你能想象一下我的小公寓,我的书桌就在厨房正前方。

So right now, it's if you can visualize my tiny studio, my desk is right in front of the kitchen.

Speaker 2

如果我转过身,往前迈两步,就直接到我的储物柜了。

So if I literally turn around and take two steps forward, it's like my pantry.

Speaker 2

所以我觉得,当隔离刚开始的时候,我有点……我吃得比实际需要的多得多,因为我在公寓里只能走那么多路。

So I think when the quarantine first started, I was being a little bit I I was snacking a lot more than I actually should be considering that I can only walk so much inside my apartment.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

我想,在过去的几周里,我真的在学着减少这种情况,你知道,从更大的范围来说。

And I guess, like, in the past few weeks, I've been really learning to taper that down just, you know, on a larger scale.

Speaker 2

我觉得在过去的两三年里,我一直在努力,比如,不要用吃来发泄情绪,而是把情绪转化为更积极、更有建设性的方面。

I think for the past two or three years, I've been working on, like, not eating my feelings and turning my emotions into more positive constructive areas.

Speaker 2

所以我一直在做的一些方法就是,比如稍微冥想一下,用Calm应用,或者,你知道,做一些瑜伽。

So some ways that I've been doing that is like meditating a little bit, using the calm app or, you know, just like doing some yoga.

Speaker 2

是的,我也不知道。

And yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2

就是很多小事。

It's just like a lot of small stuff.

Speaker 2

只是,我想如果你把我的大项目看作是学会调节我的情绪和心情,那么一些小事情可能是,比如,如果我开始感到非常焦虑,呼吸困难,那么我注意到它,然后我试着呼吸,比如做更深的呼吸之类的。

Just, I guess if you consider my big project as learning to regulate my emotions and my moods, some of the small things could be something like, if I'm starting to feel really anxious and I'm having trouble breathing, then I notice it and I try to breathe, like take deeper breaths and stuff.

Speaker 2

所以我就是靠这一堆小小的步骤,确保自己在情绪上总是能做好准备。

So it's just a bunch of small baby steps that I'm taking in order to make sure that I'm always setting myself up for success emotionally.

Speaker 2

我希望我能有个更酷的回答,比如跑步什么的。没有。

I wish I had a cooler answer like run a No.

Speaker 1

我完全也是这样。

I'm like totally the same way too.

Speaker 1

比如,我工作上一焦虑,就告诉自己深呼吸。

Like, whenever I get anxious at work, I just tell myself to breathe.

Speaker 1

所以我真的就是吸气,然后呼气。

So I actually literally like breathe in and then breathe out.

Speaker 1

真的,特别管用。

Like, it's the best.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

或者我就直接离开那个环境。

Or I just I like leave the situation.

Speaker 1

然后我再回来的时候,就像带着全新的眼光或者新的视角。

And then I come back to it with like fresh eyes or a fresh perspective.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

我觉得深呼吸真的被低估了。

I feel like low key breathing is so underrated.

Speaker 2

比如,大学的时候有段时间我特别焦虑,然后Crystal就跟我说,哥们,你也许该试试深呼吸。

Like, there was a time in college where I was feeling super anxious and then Crystal was like, dude, you should maybe you should, like, try taking deep breaths.

Speaker 2

当时我就想,哥们,我都焦虑成这样了。

And at the time, I was like, dude, I'm, like, so anxious.

Speaker 2

她居然就让我呼吸?

How is she literally just telling me to breathe?

Speaker 2

然后大概六个月后,我才意识到那有多明智,或者说那建议真好,因为人们真的不会告诉你,确保自己不要过度换气或者呼吸太浅有多重要。

And then just maybe, like, six months later, I realized, like, how wise that was or, like, such good advice because people don't really tell you how important it is to make sure that you're not, like, hyperventilating or, like, taking shallow breaths.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

天哪。

Oh my god.

Speaker 1

好建议。

Good advice.

Speaker 1

你知道有一次我跟Crystal聊天时,她给了我什么建议吗?

You know what advice she gave me once when I, like, talked to Crystal?

Speaker 1

她说:什么?

She's like What?

Speaker 1

没事,没事。

There, there.

Speaker 1

她就说:没事,没事。

She goes there, there.

Speaker 1

我当时就想,哇。

I'm like, wow.

Speaker 1

太搞笑了。

That's so funny.

Speaker 0

抱歉。

Sorry.

Speaker 0

我不是最

I am not the

Speaker 2

擅长安慰人的。

best at consoling.

Speaker 1

所以我很惊讶她让你深呼吸,因为

So I'm surprised she told you to take deep breaths because

Speaker 0

可能是在开玩笑。

was probably kidding.

Speaker 0

那可能是在我学会呼吸之后。

That was probably, like, after I learned how to breathe.

Speaker 0

因为有一段时间,我简直要疯了。

Because for a while, I was like, holy fuck.

Speaker 0

我该怎么让自己冷静下来?

How do I, like, calm my anxious self?

Speaker 0

后来我读到一篇文章,教我如何正确呼吸。

And then I I read this article that, like, taught me how to breathe properly.

Speaker 0

我当时就想,哦,原来吸气的时候应该是肚子鼓起来,而不是胸口。

And I was like, oh, you're supposed to, like, breathe in so that your belly goes up and not your chest.

Speaker 0

然后呼气的时候,要用肚子把气推出去。

And then, like, when you breathe out, you push it out with your belly.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

而且

And

Speaker 0

我当时就想,哇。

I was like, woah.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

哥们,我觉得这技能应该在小学校园里教,就是教怎么呼吸,因为我以前

Dude, I feel like they should teach this skill, like, literally the skill of breathing in elementary school because I was

Speaker 0

我继续往下读。

reading on I

Speaker 2

有一次我在Reddit上刷新闻,然后看到一条说:你觉得你会呼吸吗?

was like scrolling down the news feed on Reddit once and then it was like, do you think you know how to breathe?

Speaker 2

然后说:看看这个动图,确保你呼吸的方式是对的。

Well, look at this GIF and make sure you're breathing the right way.

Speaker 2

我就点进去了,基本上就是一个会变形的图形,告诉你什么时候吸气,屏住多久,然后呼气多久。

So I clicked on it and it basically is like a shape shifting thing that tells you when to breathe in, how long to hold it in for, and then like how long to exhale.

Speaker 2

我当时就想,正常人呼气要那么久,吸气也要那么久吗?

And I literally was like, do normal people exhale this long and inhale for this long?

Speaker 2

因为我吸气大概就一秒。

Because my inhalation takes, like, one second.

Speaker 1

那听起来不太妙啊,Jisoo。

That doesn't sound good, Jisoo.

Speaker 2

我知道。

I know.

Speaker 2

我真的把它存下来了。

I literally saved it.

Speaker 2

就是,我把它收藏了,然后我就想,哇。

Like, I bookmarked it and I was like, wow.

Speaker 2

我感觉特别好。

I feel great.

Speaker 2

我脑子里氧气特别充足。

There's lot of oxygen in my brain.

Speaker 0

我最近的自我提升计划有点抽象。

My self improvement project as of late is like a little more abstract.

Speaker 0

我觉得有点像——高级。

I think like- Fancy.

Speaker 0

我觉得在隔离期间,一切都慢下来了。

I think like being in quarantine, everything's kind of slowed down.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

而且我们有很多时间可以什么都不做,或者思考。而且我相信,很久以前,我刚出生的时候,你知道,一个全新的小孩,我很有耐心。

And we have a lot more time to just like, do nothing or like, think And and I believe that like, way back when when I was first born, you know, fresh fresh child, I had a lot of patience.

Speaker 0

而且我觉得,随着我们长大,我们知道得更多,我们经历更多压力,等等,耐心就会变薄。

And I think like, as we get older, and we we know more, and we like, experience stress more, and all of that stuff, patience, it wears thin.

Speaker 0

就像路上的柏油路。

It's like the pavement on a road.

Speaker 0

过了一段时间,它会被侵蚀,你知道,变薄,然后最终你得重新铺。

Like, after a while, it erodes, you know, like, gets thinner, and then you have to repave it eventually.

Speaker 0

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

所以我觉得,最近,随着一切慢下来,我注意到我的耐心减少了。

So I I think, like, recently, with everything slowed down, it's made me notice that, like, my patience, it has, like, decreased.

Speaker 0

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

而且我觉得,一个有趣的例子就是亚马逊。

And I think, like, one of the funny examples is, like, Amazon.

Speaker 0

现在,因为那个新冠病毒的事情,快递慢了很多。

Right now, the shipping is much slower because of, like, you know, all the coronavirus stuff.

Speaker 0

所以,当东西要五天才能到,而不是通常的一两天。

And so, like, when things come five days instead of, like, the typical two or one day.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

一开始的时候,我就想,天哪。

In the very beginning, I was like, oh my god.

Speaker 0

感觉好遥远啊。

That seems so far away.

Speaker 0

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

但现在,我们多经历了一些,我就试着更注意耐心这件事。

But like now, we've seen it a little more in practice, and I'm like trying to be a little more mindful of patience.

Speaker 0

我就想,哦,好吧。

I'm like, oh, okay.

Speaker 0

嗯,我现在已经习惯多了。

Well, I I'm like a lot more used to it now.

Speaker 0

而且我能在这种事情上练习耐心。

And I I can like practice patience with this kind of stuff.

Speaker 0

就像,我

Like, I

Speaker 1

不需要

don't need

Speaker 0

一直想着下一件事,或者觉得一切都太慢了。

to constantly be thinking about the next thing or like, feeling like everything's too slow.

Speaker 0

我通常是个慢悠悠的人。

I'm I'm like, usually a slow person in general.

Speaker 0

就是说,你见到我可能会说,Crystal,你说话真慢。

As in like, when you meet me, you'd probably be like, Crystal, you talk really slow.

Speaker 0

或者,你动作有点慢。

Or like, you move kinda slow.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

就像有人曾经,有人曾经形容我,我

Like someone once someone once described I'm

Speaker 1

很高兴你有自知之明。

glad you're self aware.

Speaker 1

有人

Someone

Speaker 0

曾经形容我,他们就说,Crystal,你有点像树懒。

once described me, they're like, Crystal, you're kind of like a sloth.

Speaker 0

我就说,你知道吗?

Was like and I was like, you know what?

Speaker 0

你说得对。

You're right.

Speaker 0

我天生就不是那种特别快的人,比如说话特别快,或者动作特别快之类的。

Like, I'm programmed not to be one of those like super fast people like talking really fast or like moving really fast and stuff like that.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

但社会的本质让我稍微改变了一些。

But like, the nature of society has shaped me a little bit.

Speaker 0

所以我现在有点想回到那种状态,不是特别慢,但稍微慢一点。

And so I'm kinda like trying to fall back into the like, not too slow, but like a little slower.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

等等。

Wait.

Speaker 2

我真的很喜欢这个。

I really love that.

Speaker 2

我觉得,嗯,

I feel like Mhmm.

Speaker 2

当人们谈论自我提升,尤其是在湾区或者我们这个年纪的人,往往都是关于,哦,我需要更高效,或者我要在某个运动或爱好上变得很厉害。

When people talk about self improvement, especially in the bay or people our age, it tends to be about like, oh, I need to be more productive or I'm gonna be really good at this sport or this hobby.

Speaker 1

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

但没多少人

But not a lot

Speaker 2

会谈论想要提升那些,怎么说呢,软技能或者更偏向于做个更善良的人之类的特质,对吧。

of people talk about wanting to improve, like, I guess, these soft skills or these traits that are more related to, like, being a kinder person or yeah.

Speaker 2

我觉得你能提到这个真的太棒了。

I think that's just such so cool that you brought it up.

Speaker 1

就是说,不一定非得是看得见摸得着的东西。

Like, it doesn't have to be tangible all the time.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

而且我觉得这就是一个很好的例子,说明自我提升不一定非得跟社交媒体有关。

And I think this is the perfect example of, like, a self improvement project that's not about, like, social media kind of.

Speaker 1

你发个帖子说,我现在更有耐心了。

You make a post, like, I'm more patient now.

Speaker 0

我等到两个月后才发这个。

Like, I waited two months to post this.

Speaker 1

嗯,那倒是真的。

Well, that's true.

Speaker 1

你也可以这么做。

You could do that too.

Speaker 1

那更抽象一些。

That's more abstract.

Speaker 2

你们通常是怎么着手这些自我提升项目的?

Is there, like, a specific way that you guys tend to approach these self improvement projects?

Speaker 2

你们是那种喜欢提前规划的人,还是更倾向于顺其自然?

Are you guys, like, the planning type or more of, like, the let's take it as it comes kind of a person?

Speaker 1

我觉得这要看项目本身。

That's I think it depends on the project.

Speaker 1

对我来说,如果是具体的项目,我喜欢把它拆成小块,这样就不会觉得压力太大。

I think for me, if it's a tangible project, I like to break it into smaller chunks just so it's not as overwhelming.
