《足球每日谈》评论员观点,嘉宾为阿利斯泰尔·布鲁斯·鲍尔、约翰·默里和伊恩·丹尼斯。

The commentator's view on The Football Daily with Alistair Bruce Ball, John Murray, and Ian Dennis.

Speaker 7

你好。

Hello.

Speaker 7

这里是《足球每日谈》。

This is The Football Daily.

Speaker 7

我是约翰·默里,这是评论员视角,我们五位现场评论员讨论足球、足球带给我们的影响,以及足球解说中使用的词汇。

I'm John Murray, and this is the commentator's view where we five live commentators talk about the football, where it takes us, and the words we use in football commentary.

Speaker 7

伊恩·丹尼斯在这里。

Ian Dennis is here.

Speaker 7

你好,伊恩。

Hello, Ian.

Speaker 8

你好。

Hello.

Speaker 8

早上好。

Good morning.

Speaker 7

这周不仅仅是足球,对吧?

It is it is not just football, is it, this week?

Speaker 7

因为本周的评论员视角我们有一位特别嘉宾,就在下周的切尔滕纳姆赛马节之前。

Because we have a special guest on the commentator's view this week ahead of next week's Cheltenham Festival.

Speaker 7

他是BBC的赛马解说员约翰·亨特。

It is the BBC racing commentator, John Hunt.

Speaker 7

欢迎来到评论员视角,约翰。

Welcome to the commentator's view, John.

Speaker 0

非常感谢你,约翰。

Thank you very much indeed, John.

Speaker 0

我感觉自己就像一只昏昏欲睡的小雪橇,紧贴着皇家马德里和曼城滑行。

I feel like I'm a sleepy little carabag slipping alongside Real Madrid and Manchester City.

Speaker 7

非常好。

Very good.

Speaker 7

我喜欢冬天。

I love winter.

Speaker 7

当然,你刚从冬奥会回来,对吧?

And, of course, you are recently back from the Winter Olympics, aren't you?

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

那真是太棒了。

That was that was fantastic.

Speaker 0

非常好。

Really good.

Speaker 0

多洛米蒂山脉,但很快就要换成克莱夫山了。

The mountains of the Dolomites, yet soon to be exchanged for Cleave Hill.

Speaker 0

所以,是的,这就是我们所处的节奏和世界,对吧?

So yeah, that's the rhythm and the world we work in, isn't it?

Speaker 0

所以,是的,我度过了非常愉快的时光。

So yeah, had a wonderful time.

Speaker 0

显然,看到英国在两项滑行项目中夺得金牌非常棒,我与一些杰出的人共事,结识了一些了不起的人,还吃到了非常美味的意大利面。

It was obviously fantastic to see the British strike gold in the two sliding events, worked with some tremendous people, met some tremendous people, ate some tremendous pasta.

Speaker 0

那真的非常好。

It was was really good.

Speaker 8

我得说,约翰,我非常期待你来参加这个播客,几乎和下周切特纳姆赛马节一样兴奋,但关于冬奥会,你已经参加过几次了?

I've gotta say, John, I'm I've been so excited to have you on this podcast, almost as excited as as Cheltenham Festival itself next week, but regarding the Winter Olympics, how many have you done now?

Speaker 0

那是我的第三次。

That was my third.

Speaker 0

我之前去过平昌,而北京冬奥会我们不得不在索尔福德远程参与,显然当时存在新冠疫情,所以能真正回到现场,置身赛道旁,闻着空气、听着雪橇呼啸而过,感觉真是太好了。

I'd been to PyeongChang and we had to do Beijing from a remote point in Salford, obviously with the COVID problems that existed there, so it was lovely to be back, quite literally trackside and just smell it and hear those bobsleighs absolutely whistling by.

Speaker 0

不仅如此,当你真的在现场时,会不经意间撞上一些参赛选手、教练、家人朋友,大家只是在尽情享受乐趣。

Not just that as well, but when you're actually there, you're literally bumping into some of the contenders, the coaches, family, friends, people just having a bit of fun.

Speaker 0

在这种环境下,你真的能获得一种身临其境的体验,对吧?

You get a really immersive experience, don't you, in that?

Speaker 0

我认为这才是真正关键的差异所在。

I think that's the big thing that makes a difference.

Speaker 8

还有约翰·默里,他们以前称他为‘珠宝商’,因为他总能伴随着金牌出现?

And John Murray, who was the commentator that they used to call the jeweler because he always attracted the gold medals?

Speaker 8

因为我现在想起来,那位其实是约翰·亨特。

Because I'm now thinking It's mister Al was John Hunt.

Speaker 8

阿里。

Ali.

Speaker 8

你说得对。

You're right.

Speaker 8

是的

Yeah.

Speaker 8

但现在我们有了冬季奥运会版的‘珠宝商’。

But but now we've got the Winter Olympics equivalent of the jeweler.

Speaker 0

这会带来薪酬的提升吗?

Does provoke an increased rate of pay?

Speaker 7

我知道,如果阿里在这里,他会回答‘不会’,但我对此很有把握。

Well, I know the answer if Ali were here, he'd be giving the answer no, but I'm pretty sure about that.

Speaker 7

他们还叫他‘小偷’,‘珠宝商’和‘小偷’,因为他总是能从其他评论员那里‘偷走’金牌赛事的解说机会。

They also called him the burglar as well, the jeweler and the burglar, because he would he would burgle gold medal commentaries from other commentators.

Speaker 7

他总是在关键时刻才出现,比如决定金牌归属的比赛,而阿里就会开始解说那场比赛。

He'd arrive in at the last moment when it came to the the, whatever it was, the match that won the gold medal, and Ali would be would be commentating on it.

Speaker 7

但就报道奥运赛事的挑战而言,我知道你也在夏季奥运会报道过游泳项目,但要转战冬季奥运会的项目,你得花多大功夫去理解你所报道的每一项运动呢?

But in terms of the challenge of covering Olympic events, and I know obviously you've worked at the Summer Olympics as well on the swimming, but to to step into the events that you cover at the Winter Olympics, the work that that must take in terms of getting your head around whatever event it is that you're covering?

Speaker 0

是的,我得把自己的期望值调低一些。

Yeah, sort of have to dial down my expectations.

Speaker 0

如果我为传奇的拉脱维亚雪橇手马丁·斯图库尔斯做解说,而我提供的是一对一专属服务,他肯定十秒内就会解雇我,因为他会完全不采纳我的任何话,一眼看穿我的不足。

So if I was doing commentary for Martin Stukurs, the legendary Latvian slider, and it was a bespoke service I was providing him, he would be sacking me within ten seconds, I'm sure, because he'd be discounting everything I had to say and seeing through it all.

Speaker 0

但当你只需要为偶尔观看的观众呈现一个宏观画面时,压力立刻就减轻了,尤其是当我们与各自领域的顶尖专家搭档时。

But when you just have to present a broader picture to an occasional audience, I think the pressure's off straight away, especially when we paired up as we are with brilliant experts in their field.

Speaker 0

我和约翰·杰克逊一起工作了三周。

I was with John Jackson for three weeks.

Speaker 0

关于雪车和滑行项目,约翰没有不知道的事情。

There's nothing John doesn't know about bobsleigh and sliding per se.

Speaker 0

因此我感到非常放松,可以问他任何问题,讨论任何话题,而他总能给出精准的回答。

So I felt super relaxed that I could ask him anything, we could touch upon any subject, and he would have the precise reply.

Speaker 0

我不需要达到那种精确度。

I didn't need to have that level of precision.

Speaker 0

我只需要知道最基本的信息——我知道这听起来很简化,但我真正需要知道的是:下一位选手是谁?他们的期望是什么?同时紧盯赛场,确保他们不会摔出赛道。

I just really needed to know, I know this is stripping away to its basic terms, but I just really needed to know who was next, what was their expectation, and keep an eye on the action to make sure they didn't fall off.

Speaker 0

就这么简单。

And that was it really.

Speaker 7

那么,从广播转向电视,面对不同的赛事,这对你来说是个挑战吗?我知道你对此已经有一定经验,但毕竟还是有难度的,对吧?

What about the challenge of stepping across from radio to TV with the different events as well, which I know that you are used to to an extent, but it's still a challenge isn't it?

Speaker 0

确实如此,是的,确实有难度。

It is I suppose, yeah it is.

Speaker 0

不过我还是喜欢这种严谨性,我们确实如此,尽管每次听众打开收音机听到我们时,可能不觉得我们每句话都经过深思熟虑,但我们的每一句话都是经过精心设计的。

I enjoy that discipline though, we do, although it might not sound it every single time people turn on their radios and listen to us, but everything we do is thought through.

Speaker 0

我甚至自己说到这儿都忍不住笑了。

I'm even making myself laugh about that.

Speaker 0

如果我正在做赛事解说,约翰,我知道你们其中一位正在做关键解说,而比赛还剩十分钟,如果有人告诉我只有二十秒的时间来讲我的小故事,我知道三十秒对谁都没用,最好能控制在十五秒内。

If I'm doing the racing, John, and I know either one of you are doing a key commentary and it's one one and there's ten minutes left, if I'm told twenty seconds is my time allowed to tell my little story, I know that thirty seconds is no good to anybody, and preferably fifteen seconds is better.

Speaker 0

我喜欢这种严谨性,电视解说也有类似的规矩,比如要根据画面反应,字幕出现时不能长时间盖过字幕,诸如此类。

I like that sort of discipline, and there were similar disciplines with the TV in terms of reacting to pictures, captions come up, don't talk over the captions for too long, that sort of thing.

Speaker 8

在那个星期六下午,当你被告知只有二十秒时间时,制作人克莱尔会不会也像我一样对你大喊大叫?

And on that Saturday afternoon when you're told you've only got twenty seconds, does producer Claire bellow at you as well as me?

Speaker 0

她总是非常礼貌地提醒我。

She's always asked me very politely.

Speaker 7

我也必须问问你,因为你也负责过开幕式和闭幕式,对吧?我每次做这类节目时都特别享受。

I must ask you as well, because you covered the ceremonies, didn't you, too, which is something that I've when I've done that, I've absolutely loved it.

Speaker 7

我知道不是每个人都喜欢开幕式,如果哈里·查普曼在听的话。

And I know that ceremonies aren't everyone's cup of tea, if Hare Chapman is listening to this.

Speaker 7

我知道他不太喜欢开幕式,但我特别钟爱仪式感。

I know he's not a huge fan, but I love a ceremony.

Speaker 0

是的,我必须向海泽尔·艾文致敬。

Yeah, I've got to doff my cap to Hazel Irvin.

Speaker 0

我和海泽尔一起负责了开幕式和闭幕式。

I did both the opening and closing with Hazel.

Speaker 0

我们一起观看了开幕式彩排,那时海泽尔就像一列高速列车,疯狂做笔记。

We watched the dress rehearsal of the opening ceremony together, during which Hazel is like an express train with her note taking.

Speaker 0

她用掉了两三本笔记本,而我呢,我的本子上只记了几个简单的要点。

She got through two or three pads of paper, and I've just got a couple of little bullet points at the top of mine.

Speaker 0

我对海泽尔简直佩服得五体投地。

I'm just in awe of Hazel.

Speaker 0

如果她是工程师,她毫无疑问会建造出埃菲尔铁塔和悉尼歌剧院。

If she were an engineer, she would have built the Eiffel Tower and the Sydney Opera House without a shadow of a doubt.

Speaker 0

她非同寻常。

She's extraordinary.

Speaker 0

所以我的意思是,一旦我了解了海泽尔的工作态度,我就完全放松了。

So my point is, once I realized about Hazel's work ethic, I just completely relaxed.

Speaker 0

说实话,约翰,我觉得这些仪式很难应对,不知道该说什么、什么时候说、什么时候沉默、什么时候填补空档。

I find them quite daunting, John, to be honest with you, in terms of what to say, when to say, when to be quiet, when to fill a gap.

Speaker 0

如果你要主持三个小时的节目,那可是相当长的一段时长。

If you've got a three hour span, that's quite chunky.

Speaker 0

无论如何,千万不要在安德烈·波切利演唱时插话,也别在玛丽亚·凯莉演唱时打断。

Don't talk over Andrea Bocelli, whatever you do, and don't talk over Mariah Carey.

Speaker 0

这些事情总是在我脑子里盘旋,但海泽尔却做得完美无缺。

Those sort of things are always rattling around in your brain, but Hazel just had it off to a tee.

Speaker 0

真是令人惊叹的精彩表现。

Just an amazing tour de force.

Speaker 7

听好了,我们显然最想聊的是赛马,对吧,伊恩?

Listen, we obviously want to talk most about horse racing, don't we, Ian?

Speaker 7

这就是我们稍后要进行的赛马解说。

That's the horse racing commentary, which we're going to do a little bit later on.

Speaker 7

本周不会出现解说员之间的冲突,因为约翰,我们要聊的内容实在太多了,但我们还会讨论那些意外的酒吧名字,以及足球解说伟大术语表的更多条目。

There'll be no clash of the commentators this week because we've just got too much to talk to about John, but we will be doing unintended pub names and further entries to the great glossary of football commentary.

Speaker 7

我也要说明一下,继上一期的成功之后,我们还要录制另一期问答节目,对吧,伊恩?

Let me say as well that we are going to be recording, aren't we, another question and answer episode after the success of the last one, Ian?

Speaker 8

是的,会的。

Yes, are.

Speaker 7

所以请通过邮箱 tcvbbc dot co dot uk 或 WhatsApp 发送你们的问题,也可以发送语音留言到 800289369,语音留言一直很受欢迎。

So do send them into us tcvbbc dot co dot uk on the email or WhatsApps and the always popular voice notes to 800289369.

Speaker 7

这就是我们即将进行的问答节目的投稿方式。

So that is for the question and answer episode that we will have.

Speaker 7

伊恩,你这周过去七天可真忙啊。

You've been busy, Ian, this week over the course of the last seven days.

Speaker 7

前几天晚上我听了莫伦的节目。

I was listening to it Mollenue the other night.

Speaker 8

我这段时间一直很忙。

I have been busy.

Speaker 8

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 8

上周日我在达勒姆举办了一场晚宴,为博比·罗宾逊爵士基金会筹款。

And I also did a dinner in the Northeast last Sunday in Durham raising funds for the Sir Bobby Robinson Foundation.

Speaker 8

我们请到了埃迪·豪、拉吉什·拉布里斯和托尼·莫布雷,我得说,莫布雷状态绝佳,赢得了博比·罗宾逊爵士基金会年度人物奖。

And we had Eddie Howe, Rajeesh Labris, Tony Mowbray, who I've got to say was in absolutely splendid form as he won the Sir Bobby Robinson Foundation Personality of the Year.

Speaker 8

另外,我还得提一下马修·史密斯,他为自己发起的‘You Care Share’项目筹款,还有他的朋友刘易斯,因为他们都是这个播客的忠实听众。

But also, I've got to give a mention to Matthew Smith, who raises money for himself for the initiative You Care Share, and his mate, Lewis, because they are avid listeners of the podcast.

Speaker 8

约翰,我觉得最令人欣慰的是,我们现在正在吸引到更年轻的听众。

And I thought that I mean, the most reassuring thing for that, John, is that we are now hitting a younger audience.

Speaker 8

我知道我们收到了来自柏林和澳洲青少年的来信,但更近一些的地方,我们也有了越来越多喜爱这个播客的年轻听众。

I know that we've some correspondence from teenagers in Berlin and Down Under, but also a little bit closer to home, we've got a younger audience that are enjoying the podcast.

Speaker 8

所以我决定给他们俩一个小小的提及,向马修和刘易斯表示一下。

So I thought I'd surprise them both by giving a a nice little mention to the two of them, Matthew and Lewis.

Speaker 7

马修和刘易斯对那期有争议的‘评论员对决’节目有什么看法吗?

Did Matthew and Lewis have anything to say about the controversial episode of the clash of the commentators?

Speaker 8

他们确实有,还让我转达一句话给你。

They did indeed, and they asked me to pass a message on to you.

Speaker 8

他们只说:算了吧,老兄。

They just said, let it go, man.

Speaker 7

真的吗?

Really?

Speaker 3

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 3

这真让人失望。

Well, that's disappointing.

Speaker 3

我在想,如果

I wonder if it would

Speaker 7

如果我在场,情况可能会不一样。

have been different if I'd been there.

Speaker 8

我不认为会有什么不同,但不管怎样,我们继续吧。

I don't think it would have been, but anyway, move on now.

Speaker 7

这已经带来了了结。

That's that's brought that's brought closure.

Speaker 3

不。

No.

Speaker 3

不。

No.

Speaker 3

并没有。

It doesn't.

Speaker 3

这并没有带来了结。

It hasn't brought closure.

Speaker 7

所以我们这个周末会很精彩,对吧?

So we've got an exciting weekend, haven't we?

Speaker 7

足总杯,我迫不及待想看这个周末的比赛,因为我打算去威尔士的雷克瑟姆。

The FA Cup, which I cannot wait for this weekend because I'm gonna be going to Wrexham.

Speaker 7

雷克瑟姆对阵切尔西。

Wrexham Chelsea.

Speaker 7

周六晚上05:45开球,但我觉得这场比赛会先在Sports Extra频道播出,因为这个周末同时也是六国锦标赛的赛事周。

05:45 kickoff on Saturday night, but I think it starts on Sports Extra because it's a Six Nations weekend this weekend as well.

Speaker 7

所有这些足球赛事的解说,你都可以在BBC五台或BBC Sounds上找到,具体取决于当时正在播放的内容,因为这个周末异常繁忙,F1赛车也将在本周末重启。

So all of these, football commentaries you'll find on five live or BBC Sounds depending on what's on the on the airwaves at the time because it is an exceptionally busy weekend with the Formula One as well starting up this weekend.

Speaker 7

BBC一台也会转播比赛,包括狼队对阵利物浦,以及雷克瑟姆对阵切尔西,这两场都会在BBC一台播出。

Matches on BBC One as well, Wolves, Liverpool, and Wrexham Chelsea both on BBC One.

Speaker 7

如果你们周五正在收听,周五晚上在BBC五台还会重播狼队对阵利物浦的比赛,这是本周第二次,解说员是康纳·麦克纳马拉和克林顿·莫里森。

And on five live Friday night, if you happen to be listening to this on Friday, Wolves Liverpool, for the second time this week, that is Conor McNamara and Clinton Morrison.

Speaker 7

克里斯·萨顿明天会和我一起在雷克瑟姆。

Chris Sutton's going to be with me at, Wrexham tomorrow.

Speaker 7

伊恩,你最近去过雷克瑟姆吗?

Where was have you have you been to Wrexham recently, Ian?

Speaker 8

我从来没去过雷克汉姆。

I've never been to Wrexham.

Speaker 7

哇。

Wow.

Speaker 7

真有意思。

Fancy that.

Speaker 7

这是

It's one

Speaker 8

92个球场中,我还没去过的少数几个之一。

of the few grounds of the 92 that I'm I'm yet to go to.

Speaker 7

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

我想我也是一样。

And I think the same applies to me.

Speaker 7

我觉得我除了在足球报道生涯初期可能去过一次之外,没去过赛道球场。

I don't think I've been to the race course ground unless I went once very early on in my football reporting career.

Speaker 7

我有些模糊的记忆,但明天到了那里我就会清楚了。

I've got vague memories, but I will know when I get there tomorrow.

Speaker 7

如果是这样,那你们俩都没去过沃克姆。

So if that is the case, neither you nor I have been to Wrexham.

Speaker 7

但约翰,你去过沃克姆。

But, John, you've been to Wrexham.

Speaker 0

我去过,是的,我现在就能想象出你直播时的位置,我不想给你任何负面的预感,但你还记得老布伦特福德球场的解说席吗?

I have, yeah, and I can visualize your broadcasting point as we speak, and I don't want to give you any bad vibes about this potential experience, but do you remember the old Brentford Stadium, the commentary point there?

Speaker 7

我记不记得?

Do I remember it?

Speaker 0

那里空间很狭窄,对吧?

It was quite tight, wasn't it?

Speaker 7

我认为那是所有球场中最狭窄的。

I think it was the tightest of all of them.

Speaker 0

直到沃克姆。

Until Wrexham.

Speaker 7

太好了。

Great.

Speaker 7

好的。

Right.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

我们去看了一场球赛。

We went to a game.

Speaker 0

我女儿艾米和她的未婚夫加雷斯。

My daughter Amy and her fiance, Gareth.

Speaker 0

加雷斯是Wrexham的铁杆粉丝,我们买了布里斯托尔流浪者队的比赛票。

Gareth's a big Wrexham fan, and we we got tickets for Bristol Rovers.

Speaker 0

我给你逐分钟地讲解了比赛过程。

I talked you through it minute by minute.

Speaker 7

所以我非常期待那次经历。

So I'm I'm tremendously looking forward to that.

Speaker 7

所以我们实际上有英格兰对阵冰岛的女足世界杯预选赛,周六中午12:30在体育extra频道播出。

So we've actually got England Iceland in the Women's World Cup qualifiers, which is on Sports Extra on Saturday at 12:30.

Speaker 7

那你呢?

And you?

Speaker 8

嗯,我听说我现在要在你们比赛的中场休息时做主持,因为确实如此。

Well, I think I'm I'm I'm told I'll be now presenting at halftime of your game because actually yeah.

Speaker 8

所以

So

Speaker 3

那哈里·查普曼呢?

And there's Hare Chapman?

Speaker 8

哈里·查普曼会到场。

Hare Chapman's gonna be there.

Speaker 8

他负责电视转播。

He he's doing the TV.

Speaker 3

哦,是吗?

Oh, is he?

Speaker 8

他就是这么告诉我的。

That's what he told me.

Speaker 8

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 3

所以,我在那里应该见不到他太多。

So So I won't I won't be seeing much of him there then.

Speaker 8

不会。

No.

Speaker 8

他会待在他的房车里。

He'll be in his Winnebago.

Speaker 8

他会的。

He will.

Speaker 8

他自己的专属房车。

His own personal one.

Speaker 8

纽卡斯尔对曼城的比赛在八点。

Newcastle, Manchester City is at eight.

Speaker 8

我将与蕾切尔·科西一起加入。

I'll be joined by Rachel Corsie.

Speaker 8

周日1点30分,波特瓦尔对阵桑德兰,随后是利兹联对阵诺维奇城,比赛在埃兰路球场举行。

And then on Sunday, 01:30 Port Vale, Sunderland, followed by Leeds United, Norwich City, Elland Road.

Speaker 8

随后,足总杯的转播将在周一晚上以西汉姆联对阵布伦特福德的比赛结束。

And then the FA Cup coverage concludes Monday night, West Ham United against Brentford.

Speaker 8

紧接着,我们将进入更多现场足球赛事。

And then we are straight in to even more live football.

Speaker 8

那是什么?

What was it?

Speaker 8

是不是九天内有大约26场现场比赛?

Was it something like 26 live games over the course of nine days?

Speaker 7

大概是这样。

Something something like that.

Speaker 8

所以下周我们还有四场欧冠比赛?

So we've we've then got four games in the Champions League next week?

Speaker 7

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 7

我们确实有。

We have.

Speaker 7

不过,约翰,你周一晚上会作为观众到场观看你心爱的西汉姆对阵布伦特福德的比赛,对吧?

Although, John, you're going to be there as a spectator, aren't you, on Monday night, your beloved West Ham against Brentford?

Speaker 0

是的,我非常期待这场比赛。

Yeah, looking forward to that.

Speaker 0

这是一场经典的势均力敌的比赛,你觉得呢?

That's a classic could go anyway game, think, isn't it?

Speaker 0

我的意思是,即使在西汉姆状态好转之前,我们这个小球迷团体就一直觉得,争取一个像样的杯赛成绩非常重要,因为回想起那个圣诞节和新年期间,当时期望很高,但实际表现却很差,那正是我们那个赛季的写照?

Yeah, I mean, even before West Ham started this improved speller form, our little support group, we really felt it was important we try and get a decent cup run, just to Well, back in the time, remember that period around Christmas and New Year where high expectations were there but low delivery was the mark of that particular period of our season?

Speaker 0

那时候我们谁也赢不了。

We couldn't beat anybody at the time.

Speaker 0

所以我们说,能打进杯赛决赛就太棒了,这样也能让球员们更好地磨合,更有团队感。

So we said, yeah, Cup Runner would be amazing, and just to get these players playing together and just feeling it a bit more.

Speaker 0

所以,我真的很期待周一晚上的灯光比赛。

So, yeah, I'm I'm I'm really looking forward to Monday night under the lights.

Speaker 0

这场比赛应该会非常有趣。

It it should be it should be really good fun.

Speaker 7

接下来,欧冠联赛将是真正重要的赛事,下周将迎来十六强比赛,因此我们有一系列的赛事解说。

And, yes, then, Champions League, really serious business next week, last 16 of the competition, And, so we've got a string of commentaries.

Speaker 7

周二晚上5点45分,加拉塔萨雷对阵利物浦。

05:45 kickoff on Tuesday, Galatasaray against Liverpool.

Speaker 7

康纳·麦克纳马拉和史蒂文·沃诺克将为那场比赛做解说。

Conor McNamara and Steven Warnock will be commentating on that that night.

Speaker 7

克里斯·沃德尔将与你,伊恩,一起解说纽卡斯尔对阵巴塞罗那的首回合比赛。

Chris Waddles with you, Ian, for the Newcastle Barcelona match, the first leg of that.

Speaker 8

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 8

很期待和沃德尔一起度过时光。

Looking forward to spending time with the, with the Waddler.

Speaker 8

然后周三还有勒沃库森对阿森纳,接着你就要去马德里,观看皇家马德里对阵曼城的比赛,开球时间是早上8点。

And then Leverkusen Arsenal on the Wednesday, and then you are off to Madrid, Real Madrid, Manchester City for the 08:00 kickoff.

Speaker 7

不仅如此。

Well, not only that.

Speaker 7

我将亲临马德里双赛。

It's a Madrid double that I'm going to be at.

Speaker 7

所以周二晚上我会去报道马德里竞技对托特纳姆热刺的比赛。

So I'm going to be reporting at Atletico Madrid, Tottenham on Tuesday night

Speaker 8

哦,是吗?

Oh, you know?

Speaker 7

然后周三晚上我会为皇家马德里对阵曼城的比赛做解说,保罗·罗宾逊会和我一起搭档。

And then commentating on Real Madrid, Manchester City on Wednesday night when Paul Robinson's going to be with me.

Speaker 7

你最近不也做过类似的双赛吗?

And you you've done a double like that as well, haven't you, in the not too distant past?

Speaker 8

是不是大约四年前,曼城对阵过马德里竞技?

Was it about four years ago that Manchester City played Atletico?

Speaker 8

所以我做了那场比赛的解说,然后第二天晚上,我又做了皇家马德里对切尔西的比赛解说。

So I did the commentary of that, and then the next night, I did commentary of Real Madrid, Chelsea.

Speaker 7

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

我知道这是我们的工作,但这真的是一种享受,不是吗?

And I know it's our job, but that is a real treat, isn't it?

Speaker 7

想象一下,今晚去马德里竞技,明天晚上又去马德里的另一支球队。

The prospect of going to Atletico Madrid one night and then the other side of Madrid the next night.

Speaker 7

我的意思是,这两家俱乐部差异这么大,对吧?

I mean, they are such a contrast, aren't they, those two clubs?

Speaker 8

我得说,我确实喜欢去皇家马德里。

I've gotta say I do like going to to Real Madrid.

Speaker 8

我觉得他们对我们特别周到。

I think they they look after us.

Speaker 8

我敢肯定你会被安排在八号解说室,那是我们最喜欢的位置,皇家马德里总是安排我们坐在那里。

I'm sure you'll be in Cabina Ocho, which is our favorite cabin that Real Madrid always seemed to put us in.

Speaker 7

当我坐在八号评论席时,我可能会唱《一只白鸽》。

Well, when I'm in Cabina Ocho, I might be singing Una Paloma Blanca.

Speaker 7

你听到过吗

Did you hear that

Speaker 8

上周?

last week?

Speaker 7

我们已经提到过调皮的马克·查普曼了,对吧?

Well, we've already mentioned the naughty Mark Chapman, haven't we?

Speaker 7

而且,约翰,我不知道你是否注意到,有一位听众联系了我们,建议可以把西汉姆联队主教练的名字配上《一只白鸽》的旋律来唱。

And we did, John, I don't know whether you feel aware of this, but a listener got in touch to suggest that the the name of the West Ham manager could be sung along to the tune of una paloma blanca.

Speaker 7

本周五台的周一夜总会里,哈雷·查普曼又开始恶作剧了。

And on the Monday nightclub on Five Live this week, Hare Chapman was in mischievous mood.

Speaker 9

你就叫他努诺吧。

You just call him Nuno.

Speaker 9

五台还有其他成员更用心地谈论努诺。

There are other there are other members of the Five Life team who put a lot more effort into talking about Nuno.

Speaker 10

我们的贾里德走了。

Our Jared away.

Speaker 9

这有利于跨平台推广。

Now that is in the interest of cross promotion.

Speaker 9

是的。

Yep.

Speaker 9

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 9

是的。

Yep.

Speaker 9

因为我们不会在节目中做这么轻浮的事,我们是很认真的。

Because we wouldn't do anything that frivolous on this because we're serious Yeah.

Speaker 9

我们是正经的足球讨论。

We're serious football chat.

Speaker 9

这是BBC足球记者约翰·默里用《Pablo Blanco》的曲调演唱努诺·斯皮里托·桑托,我想。

That is the BBC's football correspondent, John Murray, singing Nuno Spirito Santo to the tune of Pablo Blanco, I think.

Speaker 9

那是在我之前的事了。

It was before my time.

Speaker 9

不。

No.

Speaker 9

什么?什么什么什么?

Something some some some what?

Speaker 9

我不知道。

I no.

Speaker 9

是的,那是。

It was yes.

Speaker 9

它也曾被沃泽尔乐队以铁器伴着饮酒者的旋律演唱过。

It was also covered by the the worzels with iron beside the drinker.

Speaker 9

好吧。

Fine.

Speaker 9

对。

Yep.

Speaker 9

但那是七十年代的事,早于我们任何人的时代。

But it was from the seventies, so before any of our time.

Speaker 9

而且我可以从评论员的播客视角说,这有利于跨推广。

And and I can say that that is in the interest of cross promotion from the commentator's view podcast.

Speaker 4

你指的是不听它?

Which you refer not to to listen to it.

Speaker 8

你指的是什么?

You refer to as?

Speaker 9

我把它称为《夏日最后的野草》播客。

I refer to it as last of the summer wild podcast.

Speaker 9

我被训斥过,我

I've been told off I've

Speaker 3

被训斥过这件事。

been told off of that.

Speaker 3

而且我确实,在

And I literally, in

Speaker 9

我的笔记上写着,你能称它为《评论员视角》吗?

my notes, it says, could you please call it the commentator's view?

Speaker 9

所以,《评论员视角》由Compo、Foggy和Claggy在BBC Sounds上播出。

So the commentator's view with compo, foggy, and claggy on BBC Sounds.

Speaker 7

就这样了。

So there we are.

Speaker 7

这是来自周一夜间俱乐部的。

That was from Monday Nightclub.

Speaker 7

那个唱的人也是西汉姆球迷罗斯。

That also was West Ham fan Ross who was singing on there as well.

Speaker 7

我想说的是,即使在我职业生涯的这个高级阶段,你依然会不断学习和成长,对吧?

And all I would say is that even in the even in at this advanced stage of my career, you do live and learn, don't you?

Speaker 7

和我们的制作团队在一起时,有时候你知道,有这样朋友的人,还需要敌人吗?

With our production staff, sometimes, you know, when you've got friends like that, who needs enemies?

Speaker 8

多伦多的阿尔·巴希尔说,他骂人了。

Well, Al Bashir in Toronto has said, curses.

Speaker 8

这首歌一直在脑子里挥之不去。

Can't get this tune out of my head.

Speaker 8

穆诺·埃斯皮里托·桑托正在西汉姆执教。

Muno Espirito Santo managing down at West Ham.

Speaker 7

也要感谢布里斯托尔城队的球迷萨姆和丹,他们也以类似的方式联系了我们。

Thanks also to Bristol City fans, Sam and Dan, who've both got in touch along similar lines.

Speaker 7

萨姆说,关于上周提到的《Una Paloma Blanca》(白鸽),Wurzles乐队的这首歌,‘我是个苹果酒爱好者’,布里斯托尔城球迷经常在比赛沉寂时演唱,以提振士气,尤其是在落后好几球的时候。

Sam says, re, last week's mention of una paloma blanca, the Wurzles, I am a cider drinker, is indeed sung by Bristol City fans often during a lull in the game to raise spirits when we are several goals down.

Speaker 7

当我们赢球时,也会播放‘干杯苹果酒’这首歌,而《黑鸟》则通常在平局或令人沮丧的失利后响起。

Drink up the cider is also played when we win, while Blackbird typically booms out flowing a draw or dispiriting loss.

Speaker 7

当然,萨姆还提到,这支乐队还写了一首献给布里斯托尔最棒的足球场地的颂歌,名为《献给布里斯托尔城》。

Then, of course, says Sam, there is the band's ode to Bristol's finest footballing site titled one for the Bristol City.

Speaker 7

这一切共同构成了一张出色的合辑专辑,毫无疑问,ABB因为曾在该地区工作,一定收藏了一张。

It all makes for a stellar compilation album, which no doubt ABB owns a copy of having worked in the area, which, of course, he did.

Speaker 7

萨姆说,继续出色的工作。

Sam says, keep up the great work.

Speaker 7

我倒乐意担任TCV的布里斯托城队通讯员,但毫无疑问,乔纳森·皮尔斯早就占了这个位置。

I'd say I'd happily be TCV's Bristol City correspondent, but no doubt Jonathan Pierce already has that vacancy filled.

Speaker 7

所以这是来自萨姆的。

So that is from Sam.

Speaker 8

至于丹,我们还在等待确认,将在本赛季最后一场主场比赛后举行年度Wursles音乐会,届时会唱遍所有热门歌曲,为又一个第十二名的赛季画上圆满句号。

And from Dan, we're waiting on confirmation for the annual Wursles concert after our last home game of the season where all the hits are sung and it's a great way to bring the curtain down on another twelfth place finish.

Speaker 7

实际上,我收到了一位电视解说员约翰·罗达的留言,他也是比赛日解说员,他说自己偶尔会担任萨默塞特郡板球俱乐部的现场播音员。

And actually, I had a message from John Rhoda, the TV commentator, match the day commentator, who said John says he occasionally works as public address announcer at Somerset County Cricket Club.

Speaker 7

他说,约翰,我可以确认,当萨默塞特队在陶顿的库珀联合球场赢得一场激动人心的有限回合比赛时。

And he said, John, I can confirm that when Somerset win an exciting limited Orvos match at the Cooper Associates County Ground in Taunton.

Speaker 7

负责这些比赛的DJ通常是他的朋友金吉,他说他其实不知道金吉的真名。

The DJ on duty for these games, which is usually his pal, Ginge, he says he actually doesn't know what his real name is.

Speaker 7

他说,他会播放Wurzles的歌曲,许多观众都会跟着一起合唱,形成一场欢乐的集体欢唱。

He says he plays the Wurzles, and many spectators join in to make it a communal sing song of celebration.

Speaker 8

我们还收到了来自富勒姆球迷汤姆的来信。

And we've also had this from Fulham supporter, Tom.

Speaker 11

上周听到约翰对棕榈树的喜爱,我感到很好奇。

I was intrigued last week to hear of John's fondness for palm trees.

Speaker 11

大约一年前,我因公前往美国,为了在旅途中满足看球的欲望,我去现场观看了洛杉矶银河对阵圣路易斯城的美国职业足球大联盟比赛。

A year or so ago when traveling to The USA for work and with the need to get my football fix while I was away, I went to see LA Galaxy versus Saint Louis City in the MLS.

Speaker 11

那场比赛本身,就像这个联赛经常出现的情况一样,并不特别令人印象深刻。

The match itself, as often seems to be the case with that league, was not particularly memorable.

Speaker 11

但当我逃离了阴雨连绵、灰暗的伦敦后,那晴朗的蓝天和阳光却令人难忘。

But having escaped wet and gray London, the clear blue skies and sunshine were.

Speaker 11

在我看过的288个足球场中,包括中东的几个,这是第一个我印象中在球门后方的看台区域设计有棕榈树的球场。

And of the 288 grounds I've been to to watch football, including a handful in The Middle East, this is the first one I recall with palm trees designed into the stadium behind the goal at one end.

Speaker 7

他给我们发了一张照片,对吧?

And he sent us a photograph, hasn't he?

Speaker 7

或者我们有一张那个球场、有棕榈树的照片。

Or or we have got a photograph of, the said ground with the palm trees there.

Speaker 0

太美了。

It's gorgeous.

Speaker 0

这让我想起了维尔港。

It reminds me of Wrexham.

Speaker 8

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 8

不过,洛杉矶的解说席仍然会很拥挤。

The commentary position in LA will still be cramped, though.

Speaker 7

我们也非常乐意听到你们的收听体验,来自伍斯特郡伊夫舍姆的克里斯说:嗨,TCV团队。

We we also love hearing about your listening experiences, and Chris in Evesham in Worcestershire says, hi, TCV team.

Speaker 7

我通常在周六早上遛我的史宾格猎犬时,非常享受这个播客。

Thoroughly enjoy the podcast brackets usually while walking my Springer Spaniel on a Saturday morning brackets.

Speaker 7

自从付费电视订阅开始进入足球转播,而我家当时负担不起时,我就对广播解说产生了浓厚的感情。

I've had a strong affection for radio commentary since premium TV subscriptions started coming into football and were unaffordable for my family at the time.

Speaker 7

我曾经躺在床上,用随身听收听晚间比赛,把设备小心翼翼地靠在窗边,调到中波以获得更好的信号。

I used to listen to evening matches on my Walkman in bed with it precariously propped near the window tuned to medium wave to get a better signal.

Speaker 7

其实第二天我还要上学,那时候我本该睡觉的。

I really should have been asleep when I had school the next day.

Speaker 8

我记得有一次,我把一台便携式收音机带进了教室,当时正好是足总杯抽签在周一下午进行,收音机还配有那种小小的耳机。

Well, I remember I once took a portable radio into it was when the FA Cup draw was on a Monday afternoon, and it had, like, the little the little earpiece.

Speaker 8

我假装把左脸靠在手上,好像只是在休息头部。

And I pretended to put my left hand so I was resting my head to my left.

Speaker 8

所以我只是像那样趴在桌子上。

So I'm just sort of like resting on the desk.

Speaker 8

但实际上我是在听足总杯抽签,结果被老师抓了个正着。

But really I was listening to the FA Cup draw and I got caught by the teacher.

Speaker 8

我显然没做得像自己以为的那么隐蔽,因此惹上了麻烦,但我经常用便携式收音机听比赛。

I clearly hadn't done it as well as I thought I had done and I got into trouble for that, but I used to often listen to a portable radio.

Speaker 0

有太多美好的收音机回忆,也有一些令人难过的。

So many great radio memories, and some sad ones as well.

Speaker 0

我最早的一段收音机记忆是,我忍不住想起我和爸爸去谢菲尔德星期三队对阵西汉姆联队的比赛,那天正好也是布拉德福德大火发生的同一天,而我父母住在林肯。

One of my earliest radio memories was I just can't help but think about dad and I went to Sheffield Wednesday, West Ham at Hillsborough, and it was the same day as the Bradford fire, and mom and dad lived in Lincoln.

Speaker 0

那天林肯队当然也在对阵布拉德福德队,我们从谢菲尔德开车回林肯的路上,一边知道那边正在发生的事,一边被收音机里不断更新的新闻所吸引,心情沉重却又无法移开注意力。

Lincoln were playing Bradford that day, of course, and yeah, our drive back from Sheffield to Lincoln knowing that was happening and just being saddened but captivated by events unfolding on the radio.

Speaker 0

这在我记忆中如此清晰,难以忘怀。

It was just such a it's so clearly etched in my memory.

Speaker 0

是的,广播带来了如此多的快乐,广播通讯的力量真是无比强大。

Yeah, the source of so much happiness, but radio communication, so so powerful.

Speaker 7

是的,确实如此。

Yeah, it is.

Speaker 7

当你依赖人声时,广播能触及各种情感的高峰与低谷,不是吗?我经常这么说,对吧,伊恩?

It can hit hit all of the various heights and depths of emotion, can't it, when you are relying on the human voice, which is what I often said, didn't I, Ian?

Speaker 7

在新冠疫情期间,当那么多人独自度过漫长时光时,通过广播与人声建立的联系,我觉得极其有力,也让人重新认识到广播能带给人什么。

During COVID, just that whole thing about when so many people were spending so much time by themselves, just that connection with a human voice via the radio, I thought was was incredibly powerful and a real reminder of of just what the radio can bring you.

Speaker 7

让我们也听一听来自圣地亚哥的迈克尔发来的这段话。

Let's have a listen as well to Michael in San Diego who sent us this.

Speaker 12

Great conversation last week, about the the perfect line from Baku, and it was John's commentary and it reminded me my favorite memory of listening to a football game was the 10/15/1996 and in I think I'm right in saying I once heard that Ian this was your first European commentary game but it was Ferring Varosh against Newcastle and myself and my friend Tony were walking, hiking in the Lake District, we're trying to make it to Keswick, it was lashing down with rain, we were somewhere alongside the Derwent Water I realized we weren't going to make it to Kazakh so we just pitched the tent, got dry as much as possible, got the pot noodle on, had a cup of tea and listened to this magically crackly commentary coming from Hungary, lashing down the rain, and it was just pure magic.

Speaker 7

这太棒了。

That's brilliant.

Speaker 8

我记得那个体育场。

I remember the stadium.

Speaker 8

那是布达佩斯的奥洛洛伊体育场,我觉得不是收音机在发出杂音。

It was the Ololoyoy Stadium in Budapest, and don't think it was the radio that was crackling.

Speaker 8

我只是觉得那是现场的氛围。

I just think it was the atmosphere.

Speaker 8

说费林瓦罗斯的球迷们充满激情都算轻描淡写了。

To say they were passionate would be an understatement, the the Ferrins Varos supporters.

Speaker 7

我也做过一场关于那个体育场的欧洲赛事解说。

I also have done a commentary, a European commentary about I I think it was that stadium.

Speaker 7

没错,那场是法隆查法罗斯的比赛。

Certainly, it was Farronch Farros.

Speaker 7

你能记得吗?

Do you can you remember?

Speaker 7

你们两位能不能试着猜猜法隆查法罗斯是谁?

Would you like to both of you to have a stab at who Farronch Farros is?

Speaker 7

所以是英国的对手。

So it's British opposition.

Speaker 7

法隆奇法罗斯在英国的对手是谁?

Who were Farronch Farros's opponents from The UK?

Speaker 8

我觉得是米德尔斯堡。

I will go Middlesbrough.

Speaker 0

不对。

Nope.

Speaker 0

邓迪联队。

Dundee United.

Speaker 7

答案是米尔沃尔。

The answer is Millwall.

Speaker 7

在欧洲联盟杯中,是米尔沃尔。

In the in the UEFA Cup, Millwall.

Speaker 7

那是一次难忘的经历。

That was an experience.

Speaker 7

我告诉你。

I'll tell you.

Speaker 8

我猜肯定是。

I bet it was.

Speaker 8

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 8

你以前跟我说过。

You've told me that before.

Speaker 8

我本该答对的。

I should have got that.

Speaker 7

你本该答对的。

You should have got it.

Speaker 7

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

史蒂夫·克莱里奇是这方面的解说员。

Steve Cleridge was the summarizer with this.

Speaker 8

我这就快速讲讲金斯莱恩的萨姆,因为这会带我们进入我一直热切期待的环节——萨姆说,喜欢这个播客、周末听广播、在五台直播,这真是我童年的写照。

Just gonna rattle through Sam in Kings Lane because then that brings us to the section that I've been so eagerly awaiting that Sam says love the pod, listen to the radio, and having five live on during the weekend was a real statement of my childhood.

Speaker 8

即使到了我三十多岁,周末打开收音机,也没有几件事比这更棒了。

Even in my thirties, there's not many better things than switching the radio on over the weekend.

Speaker 8

听着下午三点的比赛,或者五点的体育报道,收听当天赛事的综述。

And listening to whatever the 3PM game is or sports report at 5PM and hearing the roundup of the day's action.

Speaker 8

必须特别提到约翰·亨特,他的解说始终保持着最高水准。

Special mention has to go to John Hunt whose commentary is always of the highest quality.

Speaker 8

他通常让我感觉仿佛亲临现场,观看他解说的每一场赛事,简直完美。

He generally makes me feel like I'm watching whatever race he's commentating on simply superb.

Speaker 8

萨姆,我完全同意你的观点。

Sam, I wholeheartedly agree with you.

Speaker 7

所以,萨姆、约翰,这期将是专为他打造的评论员视角特别版,因为我们现在将聚焦于你专长的赛马解说。

So, Sam John, this will be a special edition of the commentator's view for him because we are now going to concentrate on on your specialty of commentating on horse racing.

Speaker 7

首先,让我们回顾一下去年切斯特顿金杯赛在五台播出的解说。

And and first of all, just to tee this up, let's cast our minds back to last year's Cheltenham Gold Cup and the commentary that came with it on five live.

Speaker 13

倒数第二个栏杆即将到来。

The second last fence coming up.

Speaker 13

加利普和杜尚正在冲刺。

Gallip and Duchamp at it.

Speaker 13

他现在仅以微弱优势领先,我知道你在想什么。

He's only got a narrow lead here from I know the way you're thinking.

Speaker 13

科贝特在倒数第二个栏杆处摔倒,现在,我知道你在想什么,这成了巨大的威胁。

Corbett's cross fell there at the second last, and now it's I know the way you're thinking, a massive danger.

Speaker 13

我知道你在想什么在最后一个栏杆处超越了。

I know the way you're thinking takes over at the last.

Speaker 13

加利潘德商店毫无回应。

Gallipander shop has got no response.

Speaker 13

他现在看起来已经毫无胜算,我们迎来了新的金杯荣誉榜名字。

He's now looking firmly beaten, and we've now got a new name on the Gold Cup role of honor.

Speaker 13

获胜的是‘我知道你在想什么’,他以极佳的表现赢得了金杯。

And it is I know the way you're thinking, who has won the Gold Cup in great style, really.

Speaker 13

马克·沃尔什挥拳庆祝。

Mark Walsh punches the air.

Speaker 13

他这一周过得太棒了。

What a week he's had.

Speaker 13

他轻松超越了加利平·德尚,以五到六个马身的优势赢得金杯赛。

He's brushed aside, Gallipin Desjomp, to win the Gold Cup by five or six legs.

Speaker 7

去年,约翰,你也是以非常出色的表现赢得冠军的,约翰。

And that was John Hunt in great style yourself, John, last year.

Speaker 7

加雷斯在什鲁斯伯里打招呼说:大家好。

And and Gareth in Shrewsbury says, hello, chaps.

Speaker 7

我必须说,我经常收听约翰·亨特解说大型赛马比赛,虽然我根本不关注这项运动,但他的解说实在太精彩了。

I have to say that I have often tuned in to hear John Hunt cover a big horse race, and I don't follow that sport at all, but he is amazing at commentary.

Speaker 7

加雷斯问:约翰,他是怎么做到的?

And Gareth says, John, how does he do it?

Speaker 7

现在,你有机会回答这个开放性的问题了。

So here's your opportunity to answer that very open question.

Speaker 0

我认为这源于对这项运动的热爱,就像你们对足球那样全身心投入、如痴如醉。

Well, I think it stems from a love of the sport in the same way as you guys absolutely live, eat and drink football.

Speaker 0

我们也是如此,全国上下有18位赛马解说员在工作。

We do the same, there's 18 commentators up and down the country on horse racing.

Speaker 0

我不知道,这不就是各种元素的联动吗?

I don't know, it's just moving parts, isn't it?

Speaker 0

我觉得我们的运动在机制上其实非常相似,毕竟都有一个最终的决胜时刻。

I think the mechanics of our sports are very similar, really, in terms of there's always an end game.

Speaker 0

在我的运动——赛马中,终点线才是真正决定一切的地方。

In my sport, horse racing, the finish line is where it really counts.

Speaker 0

在你们的运动里,当球网鼓起时,那就是一场比赛中最关键的瞬间,对吧?

Your sport, when the net bulges, that's the big moment of any particular game, isn't it?

Speaker 0

所以,我不知道,你总是为那个关键时刻做铺垫,你也明白,在此期间会有很多平静的时段,但尤其是在广播中,你依然有机会尽可能生动地描述,而我一生观看赛马,一直试图把自己当成一名额外的骑师,尽可能贴近赛场,当然,我得赶紧补充一句,是避开那些固有的危险。

So I don't know, you always build to that particular moment, you understand there are periods within that where there's not an awful lot happening, but there's still, especially on radio as well, there's still the opportunity to be as descriptive as possible, and as I've watched horse racing all my life, I've always tried to almost look at myself as an additional jockey, trying to get as close to the action as possible without the inherent dangers, I should hasten to add.

Speaker 0

如果我们能让听众也感受到这种身临其境的体验,那就再好不过了。

If we can take the listener to that intimate type of experience as well, then all the better.

Speaker 0

我们所有人追求的不就是这个吗?用真实的方式描述你眼前正在发生的事情,无论我今天在埃克塞斯要解说的是一场小小的新马障碍赛,还是一场绅士金杯赛,规则都是一样的。

That's all any of us are ever aiming for, isn't it, to just bring an authentic description of what is actually happening in front of you, and that doesn't matter whether it's a little maiden hurdle that I'll be doing later on at Exodus today or a gentleman gold cup, the same rules apply.

Speaker 8

你能记得你的第一次解说吗,约翰?

Can you remember your first commentary, John?

Speaker 0

我第一次解说是在1992年,地点是索尔兹伯里赛马场。

My first ever commentary yet was in the 1992, and it was at Salisbury Racecourse.

Speaker 0

我对那天的很多事情都记得很清楚,但我记得威尔·卡森赢了三场比赛。

I remember a lot about that particular day, but I remember Willie Carson had three winners.

Speaker 0

其中一匹马叫《In the Picture》,我当时做了一个特别出色的双关语,但别人告诉我再也不要重复了。

One of them was on a horse called In the Picture, because I did a tremendously impressive pun, which I was told never to repeat again.

Speaker 0

那个双关语没成功,但那天还有一匹很棒的马叫《Venture Capitalist》也赢了,由理查德·哈蒙德训练。

So that fell flat on his face, but yeah, there was a lovely horse that day called Venture Capitalist who won as well, be trained by Richard Hammond.

Speaker 0

奇怪的是,多年后你还能记得这些零星的片段,对吧?

It's strange what you remember, isn't it, from these little snapshots years and years and years ago.

Speaker 0

所以,1992年,我想是5月5日,在索尔兹伯里赛马场,威尔·卡森。

So yeah, 1992, I think it was the May 5 at Salisbury Racecourse, Willie Carson.

Speaker 8

不过你知道接下来的问题是什么,对吧?

You know the follow-up question though now, don't you?

Speaker 8

那个双关语是什么?

What was the pun?

Speaker 0

哦,就是一个关于‘In the Picture’不需要照片终点判定的无聊笑话,类似这样的,不过 yeah。

Oh it was just such a lame one about the photo finish not required for in the picture or something like that, but yeah.

Speaker 0

我不是跟你说过我不该多此一举吗。

I told you I shouldn't have bothered.

Speaker 7

约翰,当我们不在你身边时谈到你,谈到其他解说员的技能,我已经说过几次,我钦佩赛马解说员的那种清空思绪的能力。

When we've talked about you, John, when you haven't been here, and we've talked about the skills of doing other commentaries, I've said a couple of times, what I admire about the horse racing commentator is that ability to clear your mind.

Speaker 7

你知道,你在一个下午可能会解说五到六场,甚至更多的比赛。

You know, the fact that you'll have five or six commentary races, maybe more in the space of an afternoon.

Speaker 7

而这种自律——记住马名、号码、所有关于马匹的故事,然后告诉自己:这一场结束了。

And just that discipline of the the names, the numbers, everything, the stories about the horses for to be able to go, that's done.

Speaker 7

接着投入到下一场。

Onto the next one.

Speaker 7

这对你来说是自然而然的吗?是不是像我想的那么难?

Did that come naturally to you, and is it as difficult as I'm thinking it is?

Speaker 0

没你想象的那么难。

Not as difficult as you think.

Speaker 0

我经常觉得,很多评论员其实能胜任各种不同的角色。

I often think that lots of commentators could do lots of different roles.

Speaker 0

我坚信这一点,我认为赛马评论多年来或许被赋予了一点神秘色彩,但其实并没有那么具有挑战性。

I firmly believe that, and I think race commentary is earned deservedly or not, a little bit of a mystique over the years, but it's not that challenging.

Speaker 0

我给你举个好例子。

I'll give you a good example.

Speaker 0

I

Speaker 8

多年前为第五频道做过一场足球比赛的解说,那场是德比郡对米尔沃尔,我发誓,米尔沃尔的后防线四个人长得一模一样。

did

Speaker 0

a football game years ago for Five Live, and it was Derby County Millwall, and all the Millwall back four were identical, I swear.

Speaker 0

你知道吗,他们全都留着同样的发型,穿着同样的靴子,我花了将近九十分钟试图分辨出他们各自是谁。

You know, they all had the same haircuts, they all had the same boots, and I spent the best part of that ninety minutes trying to work out which of them was which.

Speaker 0

我真的、真的在这件事上很吃力。

And I really, really struggled with that.

Speaker 0

因此,那天我面对场上仅有的四名球员就陷入了困境,而且怎么也走不出来。

And therefore, I got into a little bit of a hole with just four players on that pitch that day, and I couldn't get out of the hole.

Speaker 0

所以,拿这个跟一场有20匹马的新人障碍赛相比,那可容易多了。

So give me a 20 runner novice hurdle in comparison to that, and it was much, much easier.

Speaker 0

但我发现,你提到的那种能力——能立刻把刚刚做过或正在做的事扔进垃圾桶,彻底忘掉——我觉得这至关重要。

But I find the ability, I think you mentioned the ability to immediately propel what you have just done or what you are doing into the bin straight away, forget about it straight away.

Speaker 0

我认为这是必不可少的。

I think that's essential.

Speaker 0

否则,你就会被之前比赛的种种负担拖累,可能会影响你对下一场赛事的判断。

Otherwise, you'd have all sorts of drag from the previous racing that you've done, and it would perhaps color your next race.

Speaker 0

所以,无论你表现得非常出色还是仅仅平平无奇,都必须在完成的瞬间就把它们抛在脑后,我想,不管我们是否意识到,我们都在训练自己的大脑这样做。

So whether you've done a really good job or just a bang average job, you've just got to leave it behind the second it's done, and I think whether we know it or not, we train our brains to do that, I think.

Speaker 0

我认为这是最有效的方式,老实说,大多数赛马解说员也是这么做的。

I think it's the most effective way, and I think it's the way most race commentators operate, to be honest.

Speaker 8

我觉得你那里有点过于谦虚了,约翰,因为我知道我们特别喜欢去约克的但丁赛马日,说实话,我们喜欢去约克的任何赛事,尤其是五月的但丁赛马日。

I think there is a degree of you being typically modest there, John, because I'm thinking we love going to the York Dante meeting, as you know, we like going to any meeting in York to be fair, particularly the Dante meeting in May.

Speaker 8

在大约五弗隆的短距离冲刺中,你如何区分一匹从马群中冲出来的马呢?

And that dash over the, say, the five furlongs, how do you differentiate a horse just to come out of the pack?

Speaker 8

这肯定比辨认米尔沃尔队的后防线更难,因为可能有20匹马,颜色各不相同。

That's got to be surely harder than identifying a Millwall back four because you could have 20 runners, different colours.

Speaker 8

你是如何训练自己的大脑来分辨不同颜色的?

How do you train your mind to pick out the different colours?

Speaker 8

因为你几乎不可能在眨眼之间看到号码,对吧?

Because you probably won't see the numbers in the blink of an eye, would you?

Speaker 0

是的,赛马的实际鞍布号码其实并不重要。

Yeah, race car, the actual saddle cloth number never really comes into it.

Speaker 0

号码根本看不清,所以全靠颜色来辨认。

It's not really visible, so it's all about the colors.

Speaker 0

有时候,骑师的风格也很重要。

Sometimes it's about the style of the jockey as well.

Speaker 0

要像熟悉边锋冲刺时的步伐一样,熟悉骑师在马鞍上的姿势。

Get to know a jockey's posture in the saddle in the same way as you'd know the gait of a left winger charging down the wing.

Speaker 0

你并不一定需要知道他们的号码之类的信息,但我觉得我们在赛马领域很幸运,所有常年从事这项工作的人,都会频繁地在全国各地观看这些马匹。

You don't need to know their number or anything like that necessarily, but I think we're lucky in racing, and all of us who do it on a twelve month a year basis, and we're up and down the country seeing these horses on a fairly regular basis.

Speaker 0

比如本周在切尔滕纳姆,几乎不会有马匹让人感到意外。

So at Cheltenham this week, for example, there won't be many horses that come as a surprise.

Speaker 0

你可以轻松地通过视频查看它们所有的过往表现,这类信息很容易获取。

You can look at all of their past performances on video without any problem at all, easy access to that sort of thing.

Speaker 0

所以这一切都不算特别意外。

So none of it comes as a particular surprise.

Speaker 0

关键只是确保你在正确的时间喊出正确的马匹。

It's just making sure that you're just calling the right horse at the right time.

Speaker 0

至于伊恩,我不太清楚比赛中位置的移动和变化,比如约克的五弗隆短途赛和切尔滕纳姆节日的三英里障碍赛就非常不同,后者你有充足的时间在比赛中逐步分析局势。

In terms of I don't know really, Ian, about the movement and the turnover of positions within a race, is very different, that five furlong sprint race at York compared to a three mile chase at the Cheltenham Festival where you've got lots and lots of time to work things out as you go.

Speaker 7

你有没有特别喜欢解说的名字?

Are there names that you love commentating on?

Speaker 7

我刚才在听去年的解说时想到,'You're Thinking' 这个名字听起来很适合解说,因为这句话在比赛中念起来很有节奏感,不过是不是太长了?

And I was thinking that listening to the commentary from last year, it would strike me that I like the way you're thinking is a great name to commentate on because of the rhythm of that phrase to use that in a race, or is that too long?

Speaker 0

是的,有时候是这样,约翰。

Yes sometimes John.

Speaker 0

我的意思是,有两匹非常出色的马。

I mean there are two really good horses.

Speaker 0

一匹叫'Brighter Days Ahead',另一匹叫'Better Days Ahead',老实说,我希望它们能有别的名字。

One's called Brighter Days Ahead, one's called Better Days Ahead and I wish they'd called them something else to be honest with you.

Speaker 7

或者它们别在同一时代参赛。

Or that they weren't running in the same era.

Speaker 0

没错,没错,对的。

Exactly, exactly, yeah.

Speaker 0

幸运的是,它们并不参加同一类型的赛事,但毕竟它们都是明星马,都备受关注,这就带来了一定的尴尬。

I mean, happily, they don't run-in the same type of races, but yeah, just the fact that they're both high profile and both on people's minds, it just injects a degree of discomfort.

Speaker 0

每次它们参赛时,你都会提醒自己,无论如何都不要叫错成另一个名字。

Whenever they run, you're just mindful that whatever you do, don't call it the other one.

Speaker 7

我以前觉得‘Great Horse’和‘Best Mate’也是很好的名字,对吧?适合那些表现优异的赛马,作为解说员来说。

I used to think that great horse, best mate, great name as well, wasn't it, for a high achieving horse for a commentator?

Speaker 0

是的,简单的名字更好。

Yeah, simple names.

Speaker 0

尤其是如今顶级的障碍赛马,几乎每一场切斯特汉姆的比赛你都会看到,大多数情况下,投注排名前六或七的马,名字往往源自它们在法国幼年时期的称号,比如周二那匹叫‘Coppec des Bordes’的马。

Especially the top jump horses these days, in so many cases you'll see it every single race at Cheltenham, and most of the time it will be, I don't know, the top six or seven in the betting, there'll be a horse that's name is derived from its spell as a young horse in France, you know this horse on Tuesday called Coppec des Bordes.

Speaker 0

这名字当然不是‘Bessemert’,也不是‘Golden Miller’或‘Arkel’那样的经典名字,但事实就是如此,对吧?

It's not exactly Bessemert, is it, or Golden Miller or Arkel, but it is what it is, isn't it?

Speaker 0

有时候你会接连听到‘Quebec des Bordes’、‘Iliad Des Arts’这样的名字,它们全是法语词,占满了你的解说空间,不是吗?

And sometimes you get a flurry of Quebec des Bordes followed by Iliad Des Arts, and it's like they're all words and they all take up your airspace, don't they?

Speaker 0

所以,当你快速报出这些名字时,很难避免让听众感到混乱,但你也只能就手头这些名字来处理。

So it's difficult if you're firing off these names not to present too confusing a picture, but you can't work with what you're working with.

Speaker 7

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

不过,当你谈到这一点时,你应该感谢幸运之星。

Although you should thank your lucky stars when you're talking about that.

Speaker 7

这让我想起了七八十年代的场地障碍赛,那时许多马的名字都取自日本的电子产品。

It reminds me of show jumping from the the seventies and eighties when many of the horses were named after Japanese electrical product.

Speaker 7

你还记得吗?

Do you remember that?

Speaker 7

比如三洋音乐中心。

Like Sanyo Music Center.

Speaker 0

当我刚入行时,有一匹马叫日立电视录像。

Well, when I started off, there was a Hinari tele video running.

Speaker 0

所以,是啊,事情随着时间推移确实发生了变化,但依然有很多难念的名字,人们给动物取名时总会做出一些奇怪的选择。

So, yeah, it's funny how things evolve over time, but, yeah, there's still plenty of difficult names out there, but people make funny choices when they name their animals.

Speaker 8

当你完成一场比赛,有半小时准备下一场比赛时,你是全身心投入下一场比赛,还是大部分工作已经完成,只是去上个厕所、稍微休息一下?

And when you've finished one race and you've got half an hour to prep for the next, do you immerse yourself in the next race or is already a lot of your work already done and you sort of like nip off to the toilet, get yourself a little bit of refreshment?

Speaker 8

给我们简单介绍一下你三小时赛马比赛的流程吧?

Take us through that sort of like a quick crash course of your three hours of racing?

Speaker 0

是的,实际上我只会专注于当前正在进行的比赛,因为在第一场比赛进行时,第四场比赛根本无关紧要。

Yeah, so what would happen really is I really honestly just only worry about one race at a time, because race four at the time race one is taking place, race four doesn't matter at all.

Speaker 0

我甚至可能都赶不到那里,所以第一场比赛结束后,在切尔曼,我们非常幸运,有时会讨论解说席位的问题。

I might not even get there, so after race one is finished, at Chelman we're so lucky, we might talk about commentary positions.

Speaker 0

我们在切尔曼拥有最好的观赛位置——五楼,正对着终点线,除此之外,A,离厕所很近,太棒了;B,还能进入看台后方,因此在第一场比赛结束放下麦克风后的十五秒内,你就能立刻走到看台后方,那里正对着赛前热身圈,你可以看到已经在那里准备第二场比赛的马匹,而且那里环境很宁静——五楼后方几乎没人张望,但前边却人声鼎沸。

We've got the best seat in house at Chelman, it's the 5th Floor, it's right on the winning line, but apart from that, A, it's near the toilet, superb, and B, you have access to the rear of the stand as well, so you can immediately, within fifteen seconds of putting your mic down on race one, you can take yourself to the back of the grandstand which overlooks the pre parade ring and you can see the horses already there for race number two, and it's a calming environment as well that out the back of the grandstand there's next to nobody having a look from the 5th Floor, but out the front it's manic.

Speaker 0

我喜欢在赛马解说时的紧张感,但紧接着就有机会在准备下一场比赛前,让身体和心理都放松一下。

I like the obviously when you're working the racing, it's intense but then there's an immediate opportunity to have a physical and a mental calm down before you go again for race two.

Speaker 7

你解说时会用望远镜吗?

Do you use binoculars to commentate?

Speaker 0

我会用,是的。

I do, yeah.

Speaker 0

我喜欢用望远镜。

I like to have them.

Speaker 0

我们实际上有两路不同的电视信号,在切尔滕纳姆,一路是ITV的画面,另一路是Racetech的画面,它们的拍摄角度通常不同。我会把望远镜对准我认为赛道上最难观察的部分——那些不易看清的区域。

Again we get sport really, we have two different TV feeds at Cheltenham, one with ITV's pictures, one with Racetech's pictures, and they're often present at a different angle, but I have my binoculars set on what I consider to be the most difficult part of the track, the part of the track that is not easy to view.

Speaker 0

通常是在上坡顶,或者靠近两英里起点的最左侧。

It's usually at the top of the hill or down near the two mile start, way to the left.

Speaker 0

他们是怎么固定约翰的?

How they fixed John?

Speaker 0

那些是巨大的潜艇式望远镜,装在大型支架上,可以旋转,大约有一英尺半长。

They're great big submarine binoculars on a big stand that just pivot, they're about a foot and a half long.

Speaker 0

它们非常棒,但我也有自己的手持望远镜,以便快速移动——当我眼角余光看到什么,但一时不确定那是什么时,我可以立刻把它举起来,所以我总是手握望远镜。

They're amazing, but I've got my own handheld binoculars as well for swiftness of movement where if I see something out of the corner of my eye and I don't know exactly what it was at that moment, I can just whisk them, so I always have my binoculars in my hand as well.

Speaker 0

所以,是的,装备确实不少,但当你身处其中时,根本不会去想这些事。

So yes, quite a lot of gear, but when you're in the middle of it, you don't really give that sort of any thought really.

Speaker 0

这纯粹是你表演时的一部分而已。

It's just part of the stage where you're performing really.

Speaker 7

说到解说位置,正如你提到的,我们收到了来自澳大利亚肖恩的一封邮件,他说赛马比赛中两个有趣的解说位置是悉尼的兰德威克和墨尔本的弗莱明顿。

And talking about commentary positions, as you mentioned there, we have had an email from Sean in Australia who says, a couple of interesting commentary positions in horse racing are those at Randwick in Sydney and Flemington in Melbourne.

Speaker 7

这两个地点的视角之所以更差,是因为赛马解说员的站位造成的。

The angles at both of these are made worse because of the race caller's positioning.

Speaker 7

在兰德威克,解说员位于终点线后75米处;而在弗莱明顿,解说员则站在终点线前50米、呈45度角的位置。

At Randwick, the caller is 75 meters past the post, and at Flemington the caller is 50 meters before the post on a 45 degree angle.

Speaker 7

这会不会让你毛骨悚然?

Does that put shivers down your spine?

Speaker 0

是的,我们在巴黎隆尚马场为凯旋门大赛翻新时就遇到过几次这种情况。

Yeah, it's happened to us a few times when they renovated Longchamps in Paris for the Arc De Triomphe.

Speaker 0

那个看台重建花了好几年时间,你可以想象,所以他们为我们搭了一些临时的解说箱。

That grandstand rebuild took years, as you could imagine, so they put some temporary commentary boxes out for us.

Speaker 0

太好了,我们当时这么想。

Great, we thought.

Speaker 0

我们到了之后发现,那些解说箱离终点线足足有四分之一英里远,角度差得要命。

We turn up, and yeah, they're literally a quarter of a mile before the winning line, you know, and they'll go down, the angle's terrible.

Speaker 0

真是浪费时间,但这也让你明白,作为足球解说员,你们肯定经常遇到这种情况:当你找到一个完美无缺的解说位置时,你会觉得,哦,这简直太棒了。

Waste of time, really, but it does make you I'm sure you get this as football commentators all the time, when you land a pristine, perfectly positioned commentary point, you think, oh, this is just perfect.

Speaker 0

对我来说,这关乎高度——你能用肉眼看到多少东西。

And for me, that's about height, how much you can actually see with your own eyes.

Speaker 0

我个人特别讨厌隔着玻璃解说,窗户能打开吗?你和赛场之间有没有真正的新鲜空气?

I personally hate being behind glass, do the windows move out, is is there literally fresh air between yourself and the action?

Speaker 0

这才是我真正非常喜爱的。

That's what that's what I really, really like.

Speaker 7

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

对我们来说,温布利的这个位置确实很特别,虽然这是一个不错的解说点,但真的很遗憾,我们没有在露天环境中,而是在一个有优势但也隔着玻璃的箱子里,这从来不是我想要的位置。

That's a that's a real for us again at Wembley, I mean, it's a good commentary position, but it's such a shame, isn't it, we're not in the open air, that we are in a a box which has its advantages but being behind glass never where I want to be.

Speaker 8

是的,我同意。

No I agree.

Speaker 8

你希望感受到比赛的氛围,我认为玻璃是一种阻碍。

You want to feel the action and I think that the glass is an obstruction to that.

Speaker 8

约翰,你有最喜欢的场馆吗?

Do you have a favorite venue, John?

Speaker 0

我有太多喜欢的了。

I've got so many.

Speaker 0

周六要去桑德兰观看Fiber Live的帝国杯比赛。

Going to Sandown for Fiber Live on Saturday for the Imperial Cup.

Speaker 0

那是个很棒的解说箱,因为它是桑德兰能到达的最高位置之一。

That's a great commentary box because it's just about as high as you can be at Sandown.

Speaker 0

桑德兰的看台并不高,但again,它就在终点线边上。

Sandown's grandstand is not high, but again, it's right on the line.

Speaker 0

你几乎能碰到前方观众的头顶。

You can touch the heads of the crowd in front of you almost.

Speaker 0

这真是一种身临其境的体验。

It's a really immersive experience.

Speaker 0

我真的很喜欢桑登公园。

I really like Sandown Park.

Speaker 7

你看,我们在约克赛道中间看比赛时,经常抬头看到你们的位置,那看起来真是个绝佳的解说位。

See, we often look up at you from the middle of the race course at York and see where you are there, and I mean, that looks like a brilliant position.

Speaker 0

是的,确实如此。

It is, it is, yeah.

Speaker 0

约克也很棒。

York's fantastic as well.

Speaker 0

不过如果你特别挑剔的话,约克的解说箱非常狭窄,所以向右看、俯瞰赛道确实没问题,但向左看就不太方便了。你得把身子探出窗外才能看清右侧,这倒不是问题,但因为箱子太窄,视野确实不够开阔,我觉得。

If you want to be really picky though, York commentary box is very narrow, so to see certainly to your right, looking out on the track, not so much to the left, but to your right, you've got to really lean out of the box window, which is no problem, but because it's so tight and narrow, you don't have that sort of easy field of vision, I would say.

Speaker 0

但约克同样是绝佳的地点,位置高,紧贴赛道,非常棒。

But York's another great one, high up, right on the line, superb.

Speaker 8

去年的节日期间,我错失了一匹100比1的胜马,这让我非常懊恼。

I missed out on a 100 to one winner at last year's festival, which I was most annoyed about.

Speaker 8

你有没有过这样的经历:下注了一匹马,必须亲自喊它冲线,因此还得假装掩饰自己的兴奋?

Have you ever had an occasion where you've had a flutter and you've had to call that particular horse home, and therefore you've had to sort of like conceal your own personal excitement?

Speaker 0

我第一个想到的不是掩饰自己的兴奋,而是掩饰自己巨大的失望。我完全不建议这么做,但我这辈子最大的一笔赌注,其实不是在切尔曼节,而是在切尔曼。

The one that springs to mind was not so much conceal my own excitement, but my own crushing disappointment, because I wouldn't advocate this at all, but I think the biggest bet I ever had was not at the Chelman Festival, but at Chelman.

Speaker 0

他们在四月还有一场很棒的赛事,我当时正在做解说,根本看不出那匹马会输,结果它真的输了,而我还在解说这场比赛,真的特别失望,你知道吗?

They have another lovely meeting in the April, and I was commentating and there was no way I could see this horse getting beat, and it did, and I was commentating on that, and I so so disappointed, you know?

Speaker 0

当然,那场比赛根本不是紧咬着的。

Of course, it wasn't even tight.

Speaker 0

早在很远的地方,结果就已经很明显了,你只能硬着头皮撑到终点,还假装说:‘这表现真是太棒了!’

The writing was on the wall a long, long way out, so you had to bluff your way to the finish there, saying, Oh, isn't this great performance?

Speaker 0

当我在支持尼克·亨德森的马时,它排在第四位,而保罗·尼科尔斯的马却赢了。

Another winner for the informed Paul Nichols when I've backed the Nicky Henderson thing that's boiling in fourth place.

Speaker 0

所以,是的,我实在想不起来了。

So yeah, I can't really remember.

Speaker 0

尼普顿·科兰奇赢得国家大赛真是太棒了。

Neptune Colange winning the Grand National was great.

Speaker 0

我稍微下注了一点在那匹马身上。

I had a little nibble on that.

Speaker 0

那是一匹40比1的胜出马,但同样地,那场比赛的终点是极其接近的摄影判定,根本无法确定它那天到底是赢了还是输了。

That was a 40 to one winner, But again, he was involved in a really, tight photo finish, so it was impossible to know whether he had won or lost really that day.

Speaker 0

不过,确实有几件事情让我印象深刻,有好有坏。

But yeah, there are a couple that spring to mind, for good and bad.

Speaker 7

我们经常在这里讨论足球运动员名字的发音。

We often talk about pronunciations of footballers' names on here.

Speaker 7

你们是怎么确定马匹名字的正确发音的呢?

How do you get the right pronunciations for the names of the horses?

Speaker 0

说真的,约翰,这事儿太随意了。

Well, do you know what, it's so haphazard, John.

Speaker 0

这真的让我很抓狂,而且这同样让我想到奥运会,因为在奥运会的官方媒体页面上,每位运动员在办理认证时都会被要求正确发音自己的名字,你会看到一个小图标,可以点开听他们希望别人怎么念自己的名字。

It drives me mad really, and this comes back to the Olympic Games as well, because on the formal media pages for the Olympic Games, every athlete, clearly when they've supplied their accreditation, have been asked to pronounce their name correctly, you know, and you've got a little icon that is clearly there so you can listen to how they want their names pronounced.

Speaker 0

在赛马领域,很多时候马匹的现任主人其实并没有给马命名,所以你去问他们,他们会说我不知道,这马是从法国来的之类的,或者我知道这是盖尔语,但如果是盖尔语,我会问一些爱尔兰朋友正确的发音。

In horse racing, very often their current owners haven't actually named their horses, so you ask them and they say, I don't know, I got it from France or something, or I know it's Gaelic, but if it is Gaelic, I'll ask some of my Irish friends for the correct pronunciation about it.

Speaker 0

有时候你就是不知道。

Sometimes you just don't know.

Speaker 0

昨天我遇到一匹马,名字我现在记不太清了,但就一个词,像是G Y N E M Y N E之类的,我当时就想,算了,Gyne Yami凑合着念吧,你知道的?

I had one yesterday, it was called, I'm not gonna get this right now, but it was one word and it was like G Y N E M Y N E or something like that, and I just thought, well, Gyne Yami is gonna have to do, you know?

Speaker 0

它可能是某个缩写,也可能对某人的人生有特别重要的意义,但我这个人有点固执。

And it may have been an acronym for something, or it may have been something very, very important to somebody in their life, but I'm a bit of a curmudgeon.

Speaker 0

有时候我觉得,如果马的名字太难念,主人又不喜欢你念的方式,那一开始就不该给它取个难念的名字。

I sometimes think if horses are given difficult names, the owner doesn't like how you pronounce it, then don't give it a difficult name in the first place.

Speaker 0

给它取个简单好记的名字吧。

Give it a best mate.

Speaker 7

我们非常期待本周在BBC Sounds、Sports Extra、五台等平台上收听你和团队在切尔滕纳姆的解说。

Listen, we're really looking forward to listening to you and the team at Cheltenham this coming week on five lives, Sports Extra, BBC Sounds, whatever platform it is on at the time.

Speaker 7

约翰,给我们讲讲吧,你在切尔滕纳姆这一周的安排是怎样的?这对你来说,肯定是全年最重要、甚至是最重要的一周吧?

And just give us an idea, John, how does the week pan out for you at Cheltenham, which must be one of the, if not the biggest week of the year for you in terms of your profession?

Speaker 0

这很有趣,因为你必须记住既要专注于做好本职工作,也要做好那些基本的事情。

It's interesting because you have to remember to do the basic things as well as immerse yourself in trying to make sure you're doing as good a job as possible.

Speaker 0

我的意思是,你上一次喝东西是什么时候?

And by that I when was the last time you had something to drink?

Speaker 0

喝了一杯水。

A glass of water.

Speaker 0

你上一次吃东西是什么时候?

When was the last time you had some food?

Speaker 0

你可不想等到两点钟才想起来:天啊,我一整天都没吃东西,可这时候已经太晚了。

You don't want be getting to like two o'clock and think, God, I haven't had anything to eat all day, and it's too late there.

Speaker 0

所以你得管理好那些合理却枯燥的日常琐事,但一旦做完这些,是的,切斯特纳姆这个地方,你只是待在那里就会消耗大量体力,但我一点都不社交回避。

So you have to manage the sensible, boring day to day stuff, but once you've done that, yeah, a place Cheltenham is a place where you can lose so much physical energy just by being there, and So I'm not antisocial at all.

Speaker 0

我喜欢和人聊聊,但如果到十一点半还没碰上他们,我就不打算特意跑去吉尼斯村,为了中午喝半杯啤酒而奔波,你懂我的意思吗?毕竟第一场比赛一点二十就开始了。

I like to catch up with people, but if I haven't caught up with them by 11:30, I'm not going to go traipsing down to the Guinness Village to meet them for half a lager at midday, do you know what I mean, with a 01:20 start.

Speaker 0

我喜欢在第一场比赛前一小时左右就到现场。

I like to be up where I'm going to be an hour or so before the first race.

Speaker 0

然而,我喜欢在这一天的繁忙中抓住那些平静的时刻。

And yet, I do like to take advantage of the calmer moments within the busyness of that day.

Speaker 0

这只有短短四天,听起来不算多,人们会说:‘来值四天夜班试试看,看你受不受得了’,我完全理解,但你还是得稍微照顾好自己。

It's a long only four days, know it doesn't sound a great deal and people will say yeah, come and do my night shift for four days and see how you feel, and I get all of that, but it's still you do just have to look after yourself a little bit.

Speaker 9

为了

For a

Speaker 8

作为解说员,你有什么建议?

would be commentator, what would your advice be?

Speaker 0

我会说,要相信自己。

I would say keep belief in yourself.

Speaker 0

如果你觉得自己能做到,那很可能你真的能做到。

If you think you can do it, you probably can.

Speaker 0

关于赛马,正如我所说,网上随时都能看到赛马比赛。

With regard to racing, as I say, there's access to racing everywhere online.

Speaker 0

有两个专门的赛马频道。

There's two dedicated racing channels.

Speaker 0

有一个非常出色的地面电视赛车频道。

There's a brilliant terrestrial racing channel.

Speaker 0

ITV每个周末都会直播赛车赛事,大多数重要的周末赛事也都会覆盖。

ITV cover the racing every single weekend, and most big week meetings as well.

Speaker 0

所以,观看赛车的渠道是存在的。

So the access to racing is there.

Speaker 0

如果你觉得自己能做解说,就坐在赛事前不断练习、练习、再练习,坚持下去,因为我觉得这中间其实没有捷径。

If you think you can commentate on it, sit down in front of that action and practice and practice and practice and keep going, because I don't think there are any shortcuts really in it.

Speaker 0

我认为,你做得越多,就会越擅长。

I think literally the more you do, the better you'll get at it.

Speaker 0

当然,如果你真的想成为一名赛车解说员,你会把这看作是一种投资,而不是负担;如果你觉得这是个负担,那我想你并不真的想当解说员。

And of course, if you really want to be a racing commentator, you'll think of that as an investment, not a chore, and if it's a chore to you, then I don't think you want to be a commentator.

Speaker 7

约翰,非常感谢你做客我们的节目,就像我们其他嘉宾来的时候一样。

John, it's been great having you on, and we could have we could it's the same when when other of our colleagues have been on here.

Speaker 7

我们总是说,你知道的,我们真的可以聊上没完没了,因为有太多话题可以讨论,但这次真的非常棒。

We've always said, you know, we could just go on and on and on and on because there are so many things we could talk about, but but that's been that's been brilliant.

Speaker 7

我们还准备了几个体育解说中无意间出现的酒吧名字,之后还会带大家了解足球解说的精彩术语大全。

We've just got a couple of unintended pub names from sports commentary for you, and we will wrap up with the the great glossary of football commentary as well.

Speaker 7

上一次,我们提到了那个不明智的挑战,伴随着大胆的装饰和鲁莽的鸡尾酒。

So last time, we had the ill advised challenge with its daring deco and reckless cocktails.

Speaker 7

我们还提到了TMS板球解说中危险的马克·查普曼,以及‘快点进来’——这确实是一家我们去过约克的酒吧。

We also had the dangerous Mark Chapman from the TMS cricket commentary and the whip it in, which, is an actual pub that, that we've been to in York.

Speaker 7

利物浦球迷托尼说:加油,伙计们。

Liverpool fan Tony says, come on, fellas.

Speaker 7

在新西兰板球解说中,你们还漏掉了一个。

In the New Zealand cricket commentary, you missed another one.

Speaker 5

夏洛特。

Charlotte.

Speaker 5

球进来了。

Bowls in.

Speaker 5

查普曼第二球上场。

Chapman goes second ball.

Speaker 5

精彩的投球。

Glorious delivery.

Speaker 5

这是他的第三个三柱门,迪克沙娜。

It's his third wicket, Dikshauna.

Speaker 5

高弧线,投在中路,击中了右门柱的顶部。

Flighted, pitched on middle, hit the top of off.

Speaker 5

投球手得分了。

And there's a bowler.

Speaker 5

没有比这更美的景象了。

There is not a prettier sight.

Speaker 5

新西兰现在84分失去五名击球手。

New Zealand, 84 for five now.

Speaker 5

查普曼面对两球就出局了。

Chapman goes for a two ball duck.

Speaker 7

乔迪说,‘两球出局’会是个很棒的酒吧名字。

Jody says two ball duck would be a great name for a pub.

Speaker 8

这是来自东德文郡西顿的利物浦球迷戴夫的精彩提议。

This is a good one from Liverpool fan Dave in Seaton in East Devon.

Speaker 8

这个潜在的酒吧名字多年来被反复提及过很多次。

This potential pub name has been mentioned many, many times over the years.

Speaker 8

很少有酒吧像它这样不受欢迎。

Not many pubs are as unpopular.

Speaker 8

我指的是那个令人畏惧的‘Drops’——一家偏僻、破旧的乡村小酒馆,亟需彻底翻新,老板懒惰不堪,连水管都不愿清理,货架上还摆着蛋奶酒和婴儿纱布。

I refer you to the dreaded drop, a remote, shabby, rural tavern in serious need of complete refurbishment, a miserable landlord who can't be bothered cleaning the pipes and still has eggnog and baby sham on the shelves.

Speaker 8

全世界的球队都在努力避开它。

Every team in the world is trying to avoid it.

Speaker 7

令人畏惧的Drops。

The dreaded drop.

Speaker 7

这是来自伯吉斯希尔的丹尼尔的提议。

And this from Daniel in Burgess Hill.

Speaker 16

在利物浦对阵西汉姆的比赛中,迈克·伊恩大师推出了一家可能非常小众的酒吧。

During Liverpool versus West Ham, maestro of the Mike Ian introduced a new potentially very niche pub.

Speaker 8

加特波在那里鞠躬,撞上了索基克的后背。

Gatpo there bowed, barged into the back of Sociek.

Speaker 8

其实我本想在上半场就说的。

I meant to say this actually in the first half.

Speaker 8

裁判是蒂姆·罗宾逊。

Tim Robinson, the referee.

Speaker 8

克里斯·卡瓦纳重新上场了。

Chris Cavanaugh is back involved.

Speaker 8

他上周因在阿斯顿维拉对纽卡斯尔以及足总杯比赛中的争议判罚而被停哨,明天他将执法曼联对阵水晶宫的比赛,担任老特拉福德球场的主裁判。

He was given last week off after his controversial performance between Villa and Newcastle and the FA Cup, and he will actually be in charge of Manchester United Crystal Palace tomorrow, the man in the middle at Old Trafford.

Speaker 16

我想象中的‘场中之人’是一家低调的外部酒吧,有磨砂玻璃窗,或许挂着一块朴素的黑色招牌,在铰链上吱呀作响,里面聚集着一群裁判,低声抱怨自己不被理解,而霍华德·韦伯则拿起麦克风,为在场的人演唱一连串他最爱的励志卡拉OK金曲。

The man in the middle, I'm imagining, being an externally low key pub, frosted glass windows, perhaps a plain black sign creaking on its hinges, huddled inside are gaggles of referees mumbling into their pints about being misunderstood, whilst Howard Webb takes to the mic and regales the congregation with a medley of his favourite motivational karaoke hits.

Speaker 16

我真想

I'd love

Speaker 7

听听你们对霍华德会唱什么歌的建议。

to hear your suggestions perhaps of what Howard would be singing.

Speaker 7

谢谢你,丹尼尔。

Thank you, Daniel.

Speaker 7

也许我们最好不要那样做,伊恩。

Possibly best that we don't do that, Ian.

Speaker 8

但我确实认真考虑过这一点。

But I did give that a little bit of thought, actually.

Speaker 7

哦,是吗?

Oh, did you?

Speaker 7

很好。

Good.

Speaker 8

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 8

它昨晚让我彻夜难眠。

It actually kept me awake last night.

Speaker 8

我想到了AC/DC的《Back in Black》。

I thought ACDC, Back in Black.

Speaker 7

哦,是的。

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 8

非常好。

Very good.

Speaker 8

谁唱了《Stuck in the Middle with You》?

Who sang Stuck in the Middle with you?

Speaker 7

那是Steelers Wheel唱的吧?

That was Steelers Wheel, wasn't it?

Speaker 8

对。

Right.

Speaker 8

Stuck in the middle。

Stuck in the middle.

Speaker 8

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 8

非常好。

Very good.

Speaker 8

我比你年轻一点,所以我不知道是谁唱的这首歌。

I'm a little bit younger than you, so I didn't know who sang that.

Speaker 7

哦,是的。

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 7

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

有点像上周提到的乔治·贝克精选。

It was a bit like, what was it, the George Baker selection from last week.

Speaker 7

还有,艾恩、丹尼尔,他们称你为话筒大师,这倒是个不错的酒吧名字,对吧?

And also as well, Ian, Daniel, who referred to you as the maestro of the mic, that would be a good pub name, wouldn't it?

Speaker 7

话筒大师。

The maestro of the mic.

Speaker 7

你可以在招牌上看到这个名字。

You can see that on the on the sign.

Speaker 7

嗯,

Well,

Speaker 8

我告诉你吧。

I'll tell you what.

Speaker 8

当你退休时,如果你真有那么一天,你可以用你的BBC养老金开一家小酒吧。

When you when you retire, if you ever retire, you could you could put your BBC pension and open up a little a little boozer.

Speaker 7

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

不过,我不确定这是否是我想要走的方向。

Well, I'm not sure if that's the direction I want to be going in.

Speaker 7

不管怎样,也许可以叫它‘利润’。

Anyway Probably do call it profits.

Speaker 7

另外,如果你在任何体育解说中发现无意中出现的酒吧或电影名字,不只限于我们的节目,请告诉我们。

Anyway, if you spot an unintended pub or film name in any sports commentary, not just any of ours, do let us know.

Speaker 7

请访问 Tcvbbc.co.uk 或通过 WhatsApp 发送至 828-9369,最后来聊聊足球解说的精彩术语大全。

Tcvbbc.co.uk and WhatsApp's to 828-9369 and to finish with the great glossary of football commentary.

Speaker 7

这是我们寻找你可能在收音机里听到的解说术语和短语的地方,完整的术语表可以在本集的描述中找到。

This is where we look for commentary terms and phrases which you might have heard on the radio and you can find our entire glossary in the episode description.

Speaker 7

所以这些内容都为你准备好了。

So it's all there for you.

Speaker 7

所以第一类是我们收录的足球专属术语,第二类是足球解说中使用、但其他运动也会用到的术语。

So division one, that's where we put football exclusive terms and division two for terms used in football commentary but also used in other sports.

Speaker 7

上周,我们把‘被罚下’和‘清道夫门将’加入了第一类。

So last week, we added booked and sweeper keeper into division one.

Speaker 7

最近,我们也把‘优惠券终结者’作为足球专属术语加入了第一类。

Recently, we also added coupon buster into division one as a football exclusive term.

Speaker 7

但在赛马中你会听到‘优惠券终结者’这个词吗,约翰?

But would you get a coupon buster in racing, John?

Speaker 7

大概不会吧,你觉得呢?

Probably not would you?

Speaker 7

我觉得不太可能。

Doubt it.

Speaker 0

我觉得不会,不会。

I'd say no, no.

Speaker 0

优惠券在很大程度上属于

Coupons are very much in the

Speaker 7

路易斯或刘易斯说,赛马中的类似说法可能是‘黑马’。

Louis or Lewis says the horse racing equivalent could be a dark horse.

Speaker 0

我只是在想赛马中的类似说法。

I think I'm just thinking of the horse racing equivalent.

Speaker 0

你听过‘Play Spot Buster’吗?

You hear Play Spot Buster?

Speaker 7

哦,对,是的。

Oh, right, yeah.

Speaker 8

我们遇到过几个这样的情况。

We've had a few of those.

Speaker 7

这周我想到了一个例子,因为我们正在讨论英超联赛末尾非常紧张的局势,我跟一位朋友说,他们会努力避免降级。

One that occurred to me this week, because we were talking about the very tight situation now at the bottom end of the Premier League, I used the phrase to a friend of mine that they'll they'll be looking to be staving off relegation.

Speaker 7

你还用‘避免’这个词来形容什么其他情况?

I think what other scenario do you use the phrase staving off?

Speaker 7

我想不出还有其他什么情境下我会说,他们正在努力避免什么。

I I cannot think of another scenario where I would say, well, they're staving off whatever.

Speaker 7

我觉得这可能就是全部了,大概是指英冠联赛中为避免降级而挣扎。

I I think that is a is all well, it's probably a division two staving off relegation.

Speaker 7

所以这是我的个人贡献,但我们还收到了来自牛津的Spud和Freddie的来信。

So there's that, that my own personal contribution, but we've got this one from Spud and Freddie in Oxford.

Speaker 7

大家好。

Hello, chaps.

Speaker 7

这是来自Ali对阿森纳对阵切尔西比赛的评论中一个出色的词典贡献。

Super dictionary contribution from Ali's commentary on Arsenal Chelsea with Matt Upsen.

Speaker 17

他们当时看的就是这个吗?

Is that what they were looking at?

Speaker 17

那个的价格在哈布尔那里。

Hamble there for price for that one.

Speaker 17

我觉得是的。

I think so.

Speaker 7

其实不需要那么仔细检查,

Didn't need that much of a check,

Speaker 17

对吧?

did it, really?

Speaker 17

我觉得很明显,他试图头球,结果球正好打在他肩膀下方一点的位置。

I thought it was pretty straightforward that he's tried to head the ball and it's just hit him on like just underneath the shoulder.

Speaker 17

对。

Right.

Speaker 17

现在达伦·英格兰正在向祖巴门迪和纳马多·萨兰解释昆斯伯里规则,明确说明在角球开出前无球状态下哪些动作是允许的,哪些是不允许的。

Now Darren England explaining the Queensbury rules here to Zubamendi and Namadoo Saran exactly what you're allowed to do and what you're not allowed to do off the ball waiting for the corner to be delivered.

Speaker 17

我的意思是,赖斯双臂环抱着对方,

I mean, Rice has his arms wrapped

Speaker 7

这和阿森纳对切尔西比赛期间发生的一切非常吻合。

That that does fit very well into everything that happened during the the Arsenal Chelsea match.

Speaker 7

斯普德说,我好久没听到昆斯伯里规则了,但用它来描述一段冗长或细致的规则说明真是绝妙。

Spud says, I haven't heard it in ages, the Queensbury rules, but it's a fabulous way of describing a lengthy or fastidious rules explanation.

Speaker 7

这显然是词典的候选条目,但我猜它属于第二类,因为这些规则本身就是拳击的规则。

Surely a candidate for the glossary, but I guess division two since the rules themselves are the rules for boxing.

Speaker 7

艾利,斯帕德说,这解说太棒了。

Great commentary, Ali, says Spud.

Speaker 8

来自牛津的弗雷迪说,我之前不了解昆斯伯里规则,于是去查了一下,发现这些是如今拳击的标准规则,因约翰·道格拉斯,昆斯伯里侯爵在19世纪60年代公开支持而得名。

And Freddie in Oxford, I was unfamiliar with the Queensbury rules, so I looked it up to discover that these are the now standard rules of boxing named the Queensbury rules due to the public endorsement by John Douglas, the Marquess of Queensbury in the eighteen sixties.

Speaker 8

我从未在任何场景——无论是体育解说还是其他场合——听过这个说法,因此无法自信地将其归入任何一类。

Having never heard this phrase before in any scenario, sports commentary or otherwise, I cannot confidently place it into either division.

Speaker 8

所以,这个问题就交给你们这些博学的朋友们来决定吧。

So I'll leave that at the discretion of you estable fellows.

Speaker 7

不过,我想它还是得归入第二类,对吧?

Although, I guess it will have to be division two, won't it?

Speaker 7

没错。

It will.

Speaker 7

这里还有一个来自我们未分类类别的例子,是加雷斯从纽敦重新提出来的。

And one from our unsorted category here, which Gareth in Newtown has brought back to the table.

Speaker 7

他说,正在为午餐准备两个水煮蛋,蛋黄要软一点,像往常一样,我在听《五台体育》,听着罗布·格林和传奇人物史蒂夫·布鲁斯讨论伯恩茅斯门将格鲁吉亚·彼得罗维奇的失误,忍不住笑出声。

He says, while preparing a couple of boiled eggs for lunch, soft yolks, I was, as usual, listening to Five Life Sport and chuckling at Rob Green and the legend Steve Bruce discussing the shortcomings of Bournemouth keeper, Georgia Petrovich.

Speaker 10

那并不是一次特别有力的射门。

That there wasn't the hardest of strikes.

Speaker 10

你心里想,我觉得他以为这球会很猛。

And you're thinking, I think he thinks it's gonna be a hard one.

Speaker 10

我会选择单手扑救,但事实上,你应该站稳姿势,做好准备,然后用双手去接球。

I'm gonna go with one hand, whereas, realistically, you stand and set and react to it, and you you go with two hands.

Speaker 3

来吧,罗布。

Come on, Rob.

Speaker 3

他本该把球扑出去的。

He should have put his cap on it.

Speaker 3

来吧。

Come on.

Speaker 7

我无话可说。

I can't say anything.

Speaker 7

You

Speaker 3

我知道你属于守门员工会,我理解。

I know you're in this goalkeepers union, and I get it.

Speaker 3

就是这样。

There we go.

Speaker 3

我完全理解。

I get it totally.

Speaker 3

我明白,但别这样。

I get it, but come on.

Speaker 7

‘给他戴上帽子’也是马克·劳伦斯经常说的一句精彩话。

Put his cap on it was a was a great Mark Lawrence phrase as well that that he often used to use.

Speaker 7

那可能是英甲联赛的伊恩常说的‘给他戴上帽子’。

And that's probably division one Ian put his cap on it.

Speaker 8

是的,很可能就是这样。

Yeah, probably is.

Speaker 7

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

让我们用这个来结束吧

And let's finish with

Speaker 3

这个

this one

Speaker 7

来自柴郡的乔治亚。

from Georgie in Cheshire.

Speaker 15

大家好。

Hi team.

Speaker 15

我有一个术语建议,来自阿里对阿森纳对阵切尔西比赛的解说。

I have a glossary suggestion that came out of Ali's commentary of Arsenal against Chelsea.

Speaker 17

切尔西在后防再次冒险。

Chelsea taking another risk at the back.

Speaker 17

年轻的中后卫萨尔戈特在控球时被萨卡抢断。

That's the young center back Sargot caught in possession, tackled by Saka.

Speaker 17

球直接传给了桑切斯。

The ball is spun straight to Sanchez.

Speaker 17

他将球向右横传。

He slings it out to his right.

Speaker 17

查洛巴将球沿右路传给位于本方半场的里斯·詹姆斯。

Chalobah plays it down the right to Reece James inside his own half.

Speaker 17

桑切斯迅速向前带球。

Quick pull forward from Sanchez.

Speaker 17

帕尔默来了个不看人传球。

No look pass from Palmer.

Speaker 17

萨利巴将这球截下,作为

Saliba intercepts that as a

Speaker 15

不看人传球。

No look pass.

Speaker 15

我认为这更可能是二级联赛的用语,而不是一级联赛,因为我怀疑它可能用于板球或篮球,尽管我不确定。

I think it's probably more likely to be division two than division one as I suspect it may be used in perhaps netball and basketball, although I'm not sure.

Speaker 15

在我看来,最擅长无球看传球的人是博比·法米诺,他经常将这种技巧延伸到无球看射门和无球看助攻。

In my opinion, the greatest exponent of the No Look Pass would be Bobby Famino, who also extended it to no look finishes and no look assists on a fairly regular basis.

Speaker 15

但我非常想知道,你们每个人认为谁最精通无球看传球这项技艺。

But I'd be very interested to hear which player each of you think has best mastered the particular art of the no look pass.

Speaker 7

我第一个想到的是内马尔。

The one that comes to mind for me is Neymar.

Speaker 7

内马尔很喜欢做无球看传球。

Neymar liked a no look pass.

Speaker 7

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

约翰,你有什么看法吗?

Any thoughts, John?

Speaker 7

那些有天赋的球员寥寥无几。

Few few of those talented.

Speaker 7

帕卡塔不是很喜欢找卢克·塔斯,不是吗?

Didn't Paccata quite like to know Luke Tass, didn't he?

Speaker 7

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 7

我不该提到帕卡塔吗?

Should I not have mentioned Paccata?

Speaker 7

我最后反而搞砸了。

And I've blotted my copy book right at the end.

Speaker 7

总之,阿里下周一会回来,到时候我们肯定会花更多时间讨论那些无人关注的酒吧名字和术语表。

So in summary, and Ali will be back with us next week when we will no doubt devote a little more time to the unattended pub names and the glossary.

Speaker 7

但这一周,我们把避免降级到第二级别联赛的话题放到了一边。

But this week, we have put staving off relegation into division two.

Speaker 7

昆斯伯里规则降入了第二级别,戴上帽子进入第一级别,还有无眼神传球。

Queensbury rules have gone into division two, put his cap on it into division one, and no look pass.

Speaker 7

暂时先把它放到第一级别吧。

Let's put it into division one for the time being.

Speaker 7

万岁。

Hooray.

Speaker 7

那么,就这样了。
