So I'm looking at the daily routines or morning routines of famous people and some of these people are just sociopaths.
There's a guy that wakes up at 02:30AM.
I kid you not, wakes up at 02:30AM to start the day.
Today, we're looking at daily routines.
嘿,Tablo。
Hey, Tablo.
Welcome to Hey Tablo.
If you're watching on YouTube, hello, hello, hello.
If you're listening on any of the podcast platforms where this is available, feel free to continue to listen.
But when you get out of the car or get off the treadmill, watch the video because it's more fun that way.
I never imagined this day would come when I am adult enough to say, A daily routine is important.
A morning routine is important.
But I really do feel that it is important now.
Like, if you have some sort of structure or like a basic blueprint of how each day should go, it does help you have a more fruitful day, allows you to finish a lot more things and aim for a better tomorrow.
Oh, that sounds so mature.
But there are certain morning routines and daily routines of famous people that are absolutely insane like I was saying at the beginning.
Look at this.
Mark Wahlberg, you know, the actor from The Departed, he posted this himself.
Typical daily schedule.
02:30AM, wake up.
I kid you not.
Wake up at 02:30AM.
02:45AM: prayer time.
03:15AM: breakfast.
03:40 to 05:15AM: workout.
05:30AM: post workout meal.
Six shower.
Okay, most of us haven't even, you know, are, we're still like dreaming.
07:30AM, golf.
8AM, snack.
09:30AM, cryo chamber recovery.
10:30AM, snack.
11AM, family time, meetings, work calls.
I'm assuming his family wakes up at this time.
One P.
M, lunch.
Two P.
M, meetings, work calls.
Three P.
M, pick up kids at school.
03:30 P.
M.
Snack.
四点。
Four P.
M.
Workout two By the way, there are three schedule bullet points here that just say snack.
Like, he's reminding himself to snack, which is hilarious, I think.
Yo, it takes him an hour and a half to snack.
His first snack is happening for an hour and a half, from eight to 09:30.
And then from 10:30 to eleven, he snacks again.
That's thirty minutes.
And then thirty minutes again at 03:30PM.
That's a total of two hours and thirty minutes.
For a person who's so disciplined, he snacks a long time.
He golfs for thirty minutes, but snacks for two point five hours.
If you look into the details here, this is not a disciplined person.
He spends most of his day snacking.
好的。
Okay.
So 4PM he does a workout number two, and then 5PM shower.
So he showers twice.
05:30PM dinner family time and 07:30PM bedtime.
He goes to sleep.
The time that I used to wake up in my twenties, Like when I was just starting music, that's like I would wake up at 07:30PM and he's going to bed at that time and waking up at 02:30AM.
好的。
Okay.
Here's the thing though.
This guy's not lying.
I have a friend who stayed at his house for about a week, and I asked him, like, the first thing I asked him, Is his daily routine, like, for real?
And it's for real.
Like, they were having dinner at, like, five 05:30, and then he was like, after dinner, was like, Okay, I'm gonna go sleep.
And my friend was like, What?
And he really wakes up at 02:30, like 02:33, and then works out like a few hours before anyone even wakes up.
So he is this disciplined.
But it's still a wild, crazy, extreme version of a daily schedule that we don't need to do.
Like, I think this would actually be worse for your health, especially if you're snacking two point five hours out of the day.
So here's another famous morning routine or daily routine, daily schedule, and it's actually by Benjamin Franklin.
Apparently, he printed this in a book.
Okay, I'm surprised this exists.
Like, because morning routines and daily routines, it seems like something like you would do, like, in February.
Right?
Like, something you would post to your socials.
But he posted it well, that that was the social media of their time, a book.
So here's what it says.
The morning question.
What good shall I do this day?
Okay, let me come back to that.
That's actually a really good way to make a schedule.
5AM, rise, wash, and address What the fuck does that say?
Rise, wash and address Powerful Goddess.
I legit thought it said Powerful Goddess.
But it's a Powerful Goodness, Contrive Day's Business and Take the Resolution of this Day.
Prosecute the present study and breakfast.
So basically what he's saying is wake up, wash, and then like plan out what he's gonna do and then eat breakfast.
But he makes it sound so important, right?
Address powerful goodness.
Contrive day's business.
Just means, What am I supposed to do today?
And take the resolution of the day.
I'm gonna crush it today.
Prosecute the present study, just do what I do, and then eat breakfast.
And then from eight to eleven or twelve he works.
And then twelve to one, read or overlook my accounts and dine.
Okay.
If any of you have like a daily schedule on your wall or like on your phone, change the wording because look at this, Read or overlook my accounts and dine.
In twenty twenty six terms, this is just Yo, check how much money I've lost.
Yo, check my bank account and eat.
That's it, right?
But the way he words it Read or overlook my accounts and dine.
I'm changing everything to dine.
Okay?
And then two to six work.
Six to nine, put things in their places.
This fucking guy, man, hauls it to the max.
Performative.
Put things in their places, basically clean room.
Supper, music, or diversion?
Diversion is their time's way of saying doomscroll.
Or Conversation Examination of the day which translates into What the fuck am I doing today?
And then from 10PM to 5AM sleep.
Oh, he has an evening question too on the side.
What good have I done today?
Okay.
Like this thing on the side.
In the morning asking himself what good shall I do this day?
And then at night, what good have I done today?
I actually have something on my schedule on my wall.
It says, do something today that requires little of you and means a lot or the world to someone else.
Just one thing.
It might be something as simple as like if someone on Hey Tablo or Epikaze is like, Hey, I would love a reply to my comment.
And then I just reply.
That might mean a lot to them, it just takes a couple minutes out of my day.
So something simple as that or doing something much more meaningful, but all of it is if it requires less of me than it means to the person that is receiving it, I think that's a good day.
So I always write that on top of my schedule and then I have this one huge thing in like all caps: Today's gonna be fucking awesome!
Okay, so one lesson we can take from this Benjamin Franklin schedule is Wording Matters.
Instead of saying eat, write dine.
Instead of saying dinner, write supper.
Instead of cleaning my room, say put things in their places.
Instead of just scroll on my phone, waste my life or something, write diversion.
It just makes everything better.
But if you look at his day, it's not like he's doing anything like these famous people are doing anything significantly more important or profound than we do.
It's just the wording and the fact that he printed it on a book, like on a page.
Okay, let's look at another one.
This is Haruki Murakami's Daily Routine.
Do you guys all know who that is?
He's a very famous novelist.
And I've read about five of his books, I think.
And he's known to be extremely, extremely disciplined.
So a lot of people try his morning routine or his daily routine just to see if it betters their lives, and unfortunately the results are always terrible.
Like look at this one: I've been trying Haruki Murakami's routine wake up at 4AM to get six hours of deep work And usually the conclusion is, I can't fucking do this.
Let's look at the routine.
So he wakes up at four 4AM and then immediately does task, which is writing.
Basically four to noon.
So eight hours.
He's like sleeping.
Like, he probably sleeps next to the desk like this, and then Because that's what it says.
It doesn't even say wake up.
It's just he was sleeping until four, and then from four he's doing the task, writing.
He's just for eight hours.
Doesn't go to the bathroom, doesn't drink water, doesn't say hi to anybody, he's just Until noon, and immediately, he's got his running shoes on, and he's outside fucking running.
10 kilometers.
Or sometimes he'll do a 1,500 meter swim session.
Or both.
It says or both.
From twelve to two.
So for two hours, after like eight hours of just fucking crushing it on the keyboards, he goes out there and just runs and swims for two hours, and then from two to 9PM, it says rest.
It says rest, reading or listening to music for seven hours.
And then he goes to sleep at nine, and then wakes up again at four, and then immediately.
Okay.
This is the strangest daily routine I have ever seen in my life.
Because it's like most schedules are you know, like in and out, right?
Like, you know, you'll have a snack and then you'll like shower and then work a little bit and then work out and then work again a little bit, rest, spend time with family and then work a little bit more and then shower and then sleep or something, right?
But this guy is just like in huge blocks.
Wakes up and does you know, does his thing, his profession, which happens to be writing.
So he's he just fucking write storms.
He just word storms for about eight hours, and then two hours of hardcore exercise, and then just totally rests, and then goes to sleep.
So there's only like four sections of his day: his profession, exercise, leisure, and then sleep.
It's actually pretty doable and cool, and strangely enough, very, very similar to my daily routine.
I'll explain later, but this is not that far from my routine.
This isn't exactly a daily routine or a schedule, but a part of your daily schedule, you know, should include workouts, right?
It's the One Punch Man workout, you know, Saitama from the anime One Punch Man.
So it's simple.
It's 100 push ups, 100 sit ups, 100 squats, and 10 kilometer run every single day.
It's actually pretty doable, isn't it?
That's all he does?
This is basically Murakami Haruki's schedule.
Murakami Haruki is probably stronger than One Punch Man because he's like, not only is he running, you know, like 10 kilometers, he's fucking, he wakes up and he's just like You know how strong your forearms need to be to be able to type for eight hours?
Just Okay, so this is the day in the life of Steve Jobs, the man who gave us this this phone.
This very device that has destroyed our daily routines and our morning routines and our daily schedules.
Let's look at his daily routine.
6AM, wake up.
I'm a good morning person.
I like it early in the morning.
I wake up six ish.
One thing you'll notice: the schedules or daily routines of successful people, they always start their day really early.
They all wake up at least before eight is what I've noticed.
06:30AM 07:30AM: Breakfast with family 9AM: Arrive at the office 09:30AM: Meetings lunch 01:30PM: Visit Design Lab Steve Jobs was he was very hands on with everything that was going on at Apple, but most of all, the Design Lab because he wanted to look at how the future products actually felt like in the hand.
Right?
And not many CEOs did that, especially the CEOs before him at Apple never cared about the design people.
And I you know, obviously, it worked out.
Right?
So 3PM emails, meetings and phone calls.
05:30PM family dinner.
06:30PM walk with Laureen.
10PM music, meditation and spirituality.
I guess this is sort of Murakami Haruki's like, you know, like listening to music and resting time, right?
So wind down time.
So he sleeps at ten, wakes up at six, that's exactly eight hours.
Okay.
So he got good sleep at least.
You know, the eight hour sleep thing is so hard for me.
No matter how long I sleep, it's it's seven hours.
I can't for some odd reason, like even if I don't have to do anything in the morning, like, and I try, I cannot sleep more than seven hours.
Maybe that's my biorhythm, but, you know, they say eight hours is, like, what you need to, you know, stay alive, like, your hundreds.
I guess, you know, it's not happening for me, sadly.
This is a pretty normal schedule, right?
But here's the thing.
There are so many articles like I copied Steve Jobs' morning routine for a week from diet to outfit.
Here's how it went.
Okay.
Fact that there are so many people trying just flat out exactly mimicking a famous person or a successful person's daily schedule is it's not gonna work is what I wanna say.
Like just don't do it.
You know that book, The Seven Habits of Successful Whatever People?
You all know that book, right?
When I was a kid, my dad was like, You gotta read this book.
And I was like, Why?
Look at the cover.
And I'm like, Oh, okay.
To be successful, these are the habits you need to have.
Right?
And I read it and even as a kid reading that book, I was like, okay, so if just doing exactly what these people did and just having the same habits makes you successful, anybody that buys this book can be successful.
It just makes no sense because circumstances are different, the environment is different, everything is different.
So just mimicking someone's lifestyle, it might make you seem successful but it's not catered to the way you are, right?
Everybody has a different biorhythm, everybody has a different wave and everybody just has different times that they're efficient at, right?
So just following or just mimicking somebody's daily routine is not going to make you Steve Jobs which usually is the conclusion of these articles.
They're like, Let's look at the conclusion.
So this person literally copied the outfit and everything, and look, six thirty am morning incantation, 07:30AM fruity breakfast, 8AM back to work, 09:30AM arrive at the office, and then ends the day.
Okay?
对。
Okay.
So this person comes to the same conclusion as what I just said.
This experience proved to me that having a routine is great, but finding one that actually works for you is most important.
没错。
Yes.
So all the daily routines that we look at today, don't just do it because it sounds cool.
It may actually kill you.
Especially the Mark Wahlberg one.
If I wake up at 02:30AM and then, like, I'm, you know, exercising for, three hours before anyone wakes up, I'll be dead by the time they wake up.
Can you guys think of a celebrity or a known person who is famous for being lazy because we need to look at a different type of daily routine.
All these people are waking up way too early and too efficient.
They're like machines.
We need like a normal, like just, you know, of a of a five year old guy.
Winston Churchill stayed in bed until 11AM eating breakfast.
Oh, yeah.
It's in that movie too.
So there's this daily routine called Winston Churchill's Epic Daily Routine.
Let's look at why it's epic.
07:30AM, wake up, remain in bed, eat breakfast, read newspapers, work, glass of whiskey and soda.
Okay.
This is a pretty fucking wild way to start your day.
Glass of whiskey and soda in bed.
Have you seen the movie Churchill with Gary Old man as Churchill?
A great actor.
But if you see that movie, you actually get to see his daily routine.
Like, he's literally in bed with breakfast in bed and he has someone he always has someone taking dictation.
So he's just, you know, spitting out a speech and the person that he's hired just writes everything and he's just in bed, like, just throwing it out.
That's why it's possible.
But I did not know that he was drinking whiskey at 07:30AM.
11AM, he gets out of bed, strolls around the garden supervising the estate.
Okay.
Supervising the estate means just roaming around.
It's like if you you wake up and you're just like walking around your living room or like you just go out and you're just like walking around the front of your building, that's what, you know, that's what supervising estate means.
And then whiskey and soda.
Okay?
That's two that's that's two rounds of whiskey and soda.
1PM, multi course lunch, imperial pint of champagne.
好的。
Okay.
This guy is just an alcoholic.
03:30PM, work from study, glass of cognac.
Is this for real?
5PM, hour and a half nap, a habit acquired during his time in Cuba.
Okay?
06:30, wake up, bath, dressed for dinner.
8PM, lengthy dinner with guests with an imperial pint of champagne.
Midnight, work in the study and more cognac.
And 1AM he just passes the fuck out.
He's just like, 'Where where am I?
Okay.
And apparently only sleeps from 1AM, so six hours, around six to six point five hours.
Wow.
Didn't he live to a very old age?
Pretty healthy I think.
Yeah, this is a pretty fucking crazy daily routine.
I'm not sure if this is for real but I would not be surprised.
Okay.
Apparently, Jang Wonyoung, she she's got a very, like, disciplined routine where she wakes up pretty early and then, like, works out.
Like, no matter how busy she is or even if she just did like a like an ad ad shoot like the night before and ended late or had a show or or a concert, she'll like wake up early and still exercise.
And she does all of these things where she eats something and then there's certain health foods and stuff, and she's extremely disciplined is what people say.
And I can't find the schedule, but what I've noticed is that K pop idols, they live a very different life.
Like even some of the friends that I have who have been in the K pop world for a while, right, and don't have to train as hard as they used to.
Even they practice, I think, at least five hours every day just for dance and then they'll take vocal lessons.
Sometimes they'll have to wake up very early to do those music shows.
For music shows, you know, have to be there by like six or 7AM, which means that you have to be at the hair place and makeup place.
And if you have like multiple members, you also have to wait for everyone else, right?
So you're probably there at like three, 4AM getting ready, and then you go and, you know, do rehearsals, and then you wait like four hours, you do another set of rehearsals and then you do the show, and then you have to in between you gotta go somewhere else to do an interview, shoot like challenges, and then somewhere in all of that, you have to also exercise and like do dance practices and stuff like this and it's definitely not easy.
Speaking of K Pop, let's look at the daily routines of some famous K Pop adjacent celebrities that I actually know.
This is Epik High Mithra's daily schedule.
07:45AM wake up.
8AM to 9AM take son to school.
11AM: 11:30AM: brunch.
02:30PM to 4PM: boxing.
什么?
What?
This just seems like a lie.
Boxing for an hour and a half?
Since when?
I guarantee you he went like twice.
So until 4PM boxing.
04:30PM Eden comes home.
But Eden ends really late.
How is his school ending an hour later than Haru's?
Haru's in high school.
What the fuck is he putting Eden through?
What kind of school are you going to Eden?
Okay.
06:30PM dinner.
08:30PM Eden takes a bath.
And then 9PM Yukuta is what?
Done with taking care of the kid.
And then 9PM to 11PM Freedom!
It just says Freedom!
And then midnight sleep.
Because he's a dad and he has a really, really small child, His daily routine is basically his kid's routine.
If your kid is like maybe, you know, five, six, it's whatever they need becomes your daily routine.
So this is understandable.
And let me tell you, like, the reason why he wrote Freedom, I get it.
Like that feeling when the kid goes to sleep and you're allowed to just do whatever and just not do anything productive you and end up like just doom scrolling and lying there.
Are any of you surprised that he wakes up so early?
This is just what dads do.
Like, there's you have no choice.
I'm fairly certain he's lying about the boxing thing.
And he didn't write like when he goes to the bathroom and scrolls on his phone, right?
So he probably does like four bathroom sessions where he's just in there for like thirty minutes looking at his phone.
So this is not an honest daily routine.
Did you ask him to give it to you?
Yes, I asked him to send it to me which automatically guarantees that half of it is just deceit.
Okay.
Tukutz
Tukutz daily schedule is much shorter.
07:15AM wake up.
8AM sleeps again.
I know what this is.
So basically what he's saying is at 07:15AM he wakes up to take a piss.
And then he's like, Oh man, should I just should I just power through this?
Just he's like, Oh, he's like, Should I go back to sleep or should I just power through this?
I don't know, I don't know.
And he lasts about forty five minutes and then he just falls back asleep at eight.
That's what this is.
And then at 10AM he wakes up again.
Okay?
This is the real wake up time.
Oh, he's pretty lazy.
10:30AM to noon, he works out.
And this is for real.
He always goes and does a run or goes to the gym.
And I know this because he posts to our fan community, like we have this pop thing where you can send text messages and every single one of his texts is like a picture of him going on a run or going to the gym.
Like there's nothing else.
His entire interaction with fans is purely him working out.
No other interaction.
And every single text that Mithra sends is a food recommendation, like is restaurant recommendation.
Or sometimes he'll be at the restaurant sending which is why I know this boxing shit is a lie because he's sending like two or three per day.
Okay?
So back to Tukutz.
So he works out till noon, and then it says, Just aging.
I just aged.
That's what it says.
From twelve to 11PM.
From noon to 11PM, he just ages.
That's what it says, for eleven hours.
And then at 11PM, for an hour he just lies down, he just lies there and looks at reels and shorts, and then he goes to sleep.
So basically his day is he wakes up and he's like I went back to sleep.
And then wakes up again and then he's like Okay.
And then he runs or exercises and then he gets old and then doom scrolls for an hour and then goes to sleep.
哇。
Wow.
Okay.
So let's look at my schedule.
It's time for me to reveal Tablo's daily routine and it's actually for real.
But let me just reiterate.
This is a typical daily schedule.
Of course, don't live like this if we have like a morning, you know, shoot or we have like a concert where we have like three shows in a row, then we need to sleep longer.
So it'll fluctuate but if we have a pretty quiet week or so, this would be our typical daily schedule.
Okay?
So for me, 7AM around then till, like, 07:30, I wake up.
Sometimes I'll go back to sleep.
I'm just like Tukutz.
But I wake up and the first thing I try to do is I immediately try to stretch.
Like, I have a yoga mat next to my bed, so I'll just wake up and immediately go on the yoga mat.
And no matter how, like, out of it I am, I'll just go immediately go into the cat stance and do the stretching.
And there's a set stretch that I've that I do and I've been doing it for about like a year and a half now.
It's basically the cat thing.
I do the cat thing and then I lie down and I do this thing.
I'm doing something with my leg right now where it like stretches your ass.
Then I do this thing where I stretch out my hamstrings and then I put my leg back and then I fall backwards where it just like stretches the front part here of my leg and then I do my head like this, I do my head, okay, I do my head like this, and then I also put my so let me show you.
So I always do this in the morning, okay, so this is me at 07:30AM, okay, I just woke up, I'm in my PJs, I'm literally, there's a desk in my room that's higher than this desk.
And I'm like I'm like, yacht.
I'm like, at 07:30 a.
I'm like, a.
A stretch out my hamstrings.
Mind you, I can do this at 07:30AM because Haru has already gone to school.
Like she leaves at like 07:20AM, right?
So immediately after she's gone, I can just wake up and I'm like, yes, shit.
So that's the very first thing I do when I wake up, Okay?
And also, I do this even during our tours.
I've told you before, right?
I have a rider.
Every artist has a rider.
And most celebrities have, like, really, like, extensive, like, elaborate writers.
Like some you know you know the famous thing about Mariah Carey?
Her writer says, like, she needs a tub full of, like, Evian water.
I'm pretty sure that's not real, but you know, are like these wild riders and usually it's like a long list, right, of like certain types of drinks or foods that need to be in a hotel fridge, like a certain type of bed, certain types of pillows.
Here's my list.
When we send it to promoters, they're shocked because I literally had two lines.
Yoga and milk tea.
That was all I had.
And now because milk tea, know, I don't, you know, it's not good for me to drink that much milk tea.
So I got rid of milk tea, so now it just says Yoga mat.
And they're like, You don't need anything else?
And I was like, I need lots of water and a Yoga Mat.
So every hotel I go to, I have a Yoga Mat and I do the same thing.
I wake up, I do the cat thing, and then I go to the At a hotel, I just do it on the bed.
I just go like, But you need to stretch out your hamstrings.
Like, hamstring stretching is really important.
Okay?
So I do that, and the whole routine takes maybe, like, ten, fifteen minutes.
And sometimes I like to I like to, like, pile on things that I'm doing.
So I'm always multitasking.
So as I'm doing the stretching, I'll listen to the news or something or a podcast that I like, right?
嘿,Tablo。
Like, Hey Tablo.
But I'll listen to something.
There's this short thing where it recaps the news of yesterday and what's ahead for about ten minutes.
So I'll listen to that as I stretch.
After that, I go to my kitchen and I take vitamins.
I have it on my list because I don't want to forget.
And then I make the bed, I clean up my desk, I clean up my room, or as we now say, I put things in their places.
And then I study a foreign language for about fifteen to twenty minutes.
These days I'm studying Spanish with this app that I actually haven't been studying as much these days because now I have to pay.
Like the free trial period has ended.
So I'm at I stopped there because now I have to pay.
I'm serious.
That's it.
Or I'll study Chinese for about fifteen-twenty minutes.
I keep it short.
And then I answer emails and I send a bunch of like a shit ton of texts.
You guys will be shocked.
Okay.
Let me just say, this episode started off so normal and it's just spiraling out of control here.
Okay.
But the thing is I people wonder how I have time to do so many different things.
Okay.
Recently, I so I translated and subtitled a movie that's coming out in Korea.
I worked on, like, a bunch of songs for other artists, and I'm doing Epikaze, Hey, Tablo, and all these other things.
Right?
And my fans are like, how is it possible that he's doing all of this?
Like, does he have like a like a team, like a hidden team that's doing all this work for him?
And no.
I do all of these things myself.
But the reason why I can do it is I do things really fast.
Like I have really good focusing skills, like extreme focusing.
So like in ten minutes I will focus and do like a bunch of shit that other people might take longer to do.
And it's not because I'm more skilled or smarter.
It's because I legit focus, I block out everything when I'm in the zone.
I don't think about other things at all.
I just focus on sending a shit ton of text to my Seriously, within like a minute, I will hit up like four different chats and just threw out like 30 ideas.
You know that I can type on an iPhone, like on a touchscreen without looking?
Mithra was so shocked.
He saw me do it.
He saw me responding to an email like this, right, while talking to him.
And he's like, What the fuck?
And he looks at my screen.
He's like, How are there no typos?
How are you typing on a touchscreen without looking?
And I'm like, Wait, you don't do that?
And I'm so used to it that I can do it without looking.
So I just send like But as I'm sending a text to Rosemary, I'm like, yo, by the way, I think for the edit, I think if we include something like this, this will be fun.
As I'm typing it, I think of the next text that I'm gonna send to someone else.
I'm like, oh, yeah.
是的
Yeah.
I should send that.
And then immediately, I'll open that, and I'll send send.
And then I'll answer an email and I do it so fast.
So give me like five minutes and I can send out maybe like 50 texts.
Okay?
真的。
Seriously.
I'm just so naive.
I am super efficient and when I'm in the zone, I'm in the zone.
I'll do that and then I'll do some work, right?
I'll do whatever and it'll be like eleven, 11AM and then I'll go work out for fifty minutes.
I come back, I do some more work, I eat, and I try to finish everything before 3PM.
So I just, you know, deep concentration, I do as much work as possible.
I'll, like, write lyrics, I'll like, you know, work on something, edit something, and like answer more emails, like plan something out.
And then I try to finish everything by three so that when Haru comes home at like 03:20, I'm like ready and, you know, just present.
You know, because she's a high schooler now, she actually, you know, she doesn't need me as much, right?
But I want to be there just in case.
So unless like we have a show or unless like I have something booked where I need to be away from home, I'll usually be home from three.
And from three till like, you know, dinner time, I'll either hang out with her or help her with whatever she needs.
And then we have dinner together, me, Hyejong, and Haru.
And then from like seven to 8PM after dinner, after like cleaning up and helping with, you know, whatever, if she needs help with dishes, I'll help.
And then until 8PM, I'll do some work for tomorrow, like some planning work for tomorrow, that's for like thirty minutes or an hour.
And then 8PM to 10PM, I hang out with Haru or Hyejong, right?
So we just watch something together, and then from 10PM to 11PM I wind down and sleep.
That's my daily routine.
So if you think about it, it's not that different from Murakami and Haruki's I wake up early, I, you know, just do what I gotta do, and then from 3PM, I'm technically just, you know, in leisure mode.
It's not really leisure because I'm parenting, right?
And also I love the fact that my work has become sort of mobile.
And I don't like there are certain elements of that that I don't like, but after COVID, you know how we all, like, kind of went more mobile, more digital?
It actually works for me because I get to be with my family, I get to be home and still you know, still do fucking everything.
Know, now we have this fan community where we have like the texting service, right?
So I'm also texting them a lot.
On top of the texts I send you, and the texts that go back and forth with Haru, with Hyejong I, with Mithra and Tukutz, I'm texting my fans a lot now.
Do you know that when we started that fan community, someone on their side actually said, You should really think hard about whether or not you want to offer this texting service because you're busy and it requires some commitment, right?
Like, people are subscribing, so you can't just like send four texts per month.
And I was like, I'm worried I'm gonna send 15 per day.
What do you mean?
Like, seriously, our fans are getting a bargain because you have no idea.
I have to restrain myself from going in more.
And Mithra and Tukutz have to work hard to, like, text more than they usually do.
I have to restrain myself because, like I said, deep focus.
I'm able to text my fans at least like I can honestly, if there were no ethical limits, okay, I swear to God, I can text my fans maybe like 200 texts per day.
Okay?
There were no ethical limits.
Like, the only reason why I can't do it is because I know a bunch of people will unsubscribe.
And all those memes that I post, like not the Epikaze ones, but the memes on my Instagram, I make those.
I don't have a team making them.
I make them on my phone.
I make all of the memes that I post.
And I'm really good at Photoshop now.
Like, can put Tukutz on anything.
Okay?
And I make them hella fast.
And my fans should know this.
Okay?
Because Tukutz sent a picture, and I immediately turned it into a meme and sent it back.
And then Mithra sent the picture, and I put the Tukutz meme into Mithra's picture and sent it back like super fast.
I am just fast at it.
I'm not present is what I'm trying to say.
I'm not a bad parent.
I'm just doing all of this really fast.
Okay?
And I just have a lot to say.
You know, I need to start.
I actually had another thing on my daily routine that I haven't been keep keeping up with recently.
I actually took it out of my the thing on my wall.
It used to be write eight bars of wrap, but just looked weird, like, being on there.
Because everything else looks so cool.
It's like, Stretch.
Take vitamins.
You know, like, Learn a foreign language.
Eight bars of rap.
I still have this thing where I have a memo where it's daily bars where I'll try to write like two-three lines just to make sure that I don't lose it.
You notice that I just spent the majority of the time, like a bulk of the time just talking about my daily routine?
As if everything else so far has been a build up to this, you know?
I spent maybe like three minutes on Steve Jobs.
Winston Churchill was like two minutes.
I just talked for for like for like fifteen, twenty minutes just on my you know, just on this.
Anyways, to wrap up, daily routines are important.
Structure is important.
Even if it's a daily schedule or a routine that you break all the time, having something to break is important in my opinion because it at least reminds you that you're not keeping a promise with yourself, just a little, and it'll impel you to do it the day after or, you know, two days later.
Even, you know, just getting coffee at your favorite coffee place is a very good ritual to have.
So I do recommend having a daily schedule, but I do not recommend following any of the daily routines that I discussed today.
If any of them match your natural flow, then yes, mimic it.
But just following some famous person's daily routine thinking that it'll turn you into them is crazy.
Okay?
Just because you wake up at around the same time as a super rich person, you're not gonna just suddenly be rich.
Okay?
And just because you're waking up four hours later than somebody who's diligent and successful doesn't mean you're not gonna be successful.
Like, you know, there's tons of people that wake up at like two, 3PM after staying up all night every day and they're still successful.
Right?
So just do what suits you and above all, do what makes your mind and body feel good, like feel healthy.
And like I said, it's great to have a mantra, it's great to have a motto at the top of your schedule.
I have actually a prayer that I made.
It's a meditation I guess.
Do something that requires little of you but means the world to someone else and then your day is gonna be awesome.
Today is gonna be awesome.
Just reading that and then doing my stretch is meditation for me.
Meditation doesn't have to be like you turn on some weird sound and then you go like That doesn't have to be your method.
Like anything that makes you feel like yourself or a better version of yourself can be meditation is what I'm saying, okay?
You know what the best thing to include on your daily routine is?
