Speaker 4

Hi, Kehela.

Speaker 4

How are you?

Speaker 4

What's your name?

Speaker 5

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 5

My name is Oladele Komolafei.

Speaker 5

Is that is it just like, the first step, is it gonna be, like, the answer straight away?

Speaker 5

答案?

Answer?

Speaker 5

就像

Like

Speaker 4

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 4

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 4

Straight away answer.

Speaker 4

It's better because it's a like, part one is short question, so no need to explain too much.

Speaker 4

It's not necessary.

Speaker 4

Straightway answer and then explain.

Speaker 4

So you see like the answer and why.

Speaker 4

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 4

And the next question, they'll ask you, like, may I see your identification or something like this.

Speaker 4

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 4

You can forward your passport that here it is.

Speaker 4

当然。

Sure.

Speaker 4

Certainly.

Speaker 4

Here it is.

Speaker 4

And then they'll just confirm, and they'll ask you, and always answer in complete sentence.

Speaker 4

So if they ask you like, can I see your passport?

Speaker 4

If you say sure, so that's not really a complete sentence.

Speaker 4

So you can say, certainly, here is my passport or here here it is.

Speaker 4

So it's like a like more formal ways.

Speaker 4

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 4

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 4

Formal way is more important for IELTS, so it's better to use formal language.

Speaker 4

So if you don't understand, you can say, like some people say, I'm sorry, but it's kind of informal.

Speaker 4

So it's better to say, could you please repeat the questions?

Speaker 4

或者

Or Is

Speaker 5

this kind of common again?

Speaker 4

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 4

That's kind of informal again.

Speaker 4

For the British people, I beg your pardon would be more formal.

Speaker 5

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 4

So it would be better.

Speaker 4

So in IELTS, they kind of note these things, what kind of language you are using.

Speaker 4

Is it formal, informal?

Speaker 4

So they consider this interview as a formal situation.

Speaker 4

So try to use like, yeah.

Speaker 4

If you don't understand, you can say, I beg your pardon.

Speaker 4

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 4

Or pardon me.

Speaker 4

So then that would be better.

Speaker 4

好的。

Alright.

Speaker 4

Okay.

Speaker 4

So now let's talk about flowers and plants.

Speaker 4

Do you have a favorite flower or plant?

Speaker 5

Yeah, have a favorite flower and my favorite flower is rose.

Speaker 4

And why is it?

Speaker 5

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 5

I love rose because it's red in color, and I love red colors.

Speaker 5

So that's why I developed interest in the flower.

Speaker 4

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 4

完美。

Perfect.

Speaker 4

So what kind of flowers and plants grow near where you live?

Speaker 5

Yeah, where I live, we hardly see flowers.

Speaker 5

We only see imported flowers because where I live is a bit far from water side and plants don't grow there easily.

Speaker 5

So but we see flowers in the supermarket and we see imported flowers all around.

Speaker 4

That's good.

Speaker 4

But yeah, in dry places we can see cactus can grow.

Speaker 4

Seen some places they're growing cactus.

Speaker 4

Okay, no problem.

Speaker 4

So it's about language.

Speaker 4

Your answer was perfect.

Speaker 4

You can get good scope.

Speaker 4

That's perfect.

Speaker 4

So it's not about like what actually is happening.

Speaker 4

It's about like you engaging more.

Speaker 4

That's perfect.

Speaker 4

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 4

So is it important to you to have flowers and plants in your home?

Speaker 5

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 5

I know.

Speaker 5

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 5

I grew up.

Speaker 5

We don't usually deal with too much flowers, but with my experience here in Australia, every where you go to you see flowers and to me it seems it helps with the environment too because plants and flowers they generate oxygen which is very healthy for human beings.

Speaker 5

So I believe it's very good to have them wherever we are.

Speaker 4

完美。

Perfect.

Speaker 4

So have you ever bought flowers for someone else?

Speaker 5

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 5

I've bought flowers for someone.

Speaker 5

I've bought flowers for a friend on Valentine's as a gift on a Valentine's Day.

Speaker 5

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 4

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 4

完美。

Perfect.

Speaker 4

So now I'll give you a prompt.

Speaker 4

Do you have pen and paper?

Speaker 4

有。

Yes.

Speaker 4

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 4

So now we have to calculate time.

Speaker 4

So let me just go to the timer.

Speaker 5

好的。

Alright.

Speaker 4

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 5

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 5

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 5

I read about a review on Google, and it was basically because I wanted to do some shopping so I had to input the name of the company on Google to see what people have to say about the company.

Speaker 5

And on getting there, I discovered that they have a very bad review.

Speaker 5

For example, customers were not satisfied with their products.

Speaker 5

Customers complain about late delivery of products.

Speaker 5

Customers complain about the products not being what was advertised online.

Speaker 5

And based on that, I had to tell the person that I wanted to buy the stuff for that I won't be able to shop on that website because of the bad review that I got about the company.

Speaker 5

And my main reason of checking looking for review was because it wasn't an Australian company because I believe most companies in Australia have a sort of protection for customers and there is a way you can get your money back in case you're not satisfied with the product.

Speaker 5

So the moment I saw that it wasn't an Australian website, I was a bit skeptical about shopping with them.

Speaker 5

But because of that, I was forced to go and look for a review on Google.

Speaker 5

And when I checked it, I wasn't satisfied based on what people wrote about the company.

Speaker 5

So because of that, I just told my wife that I won't be able to shop with this company.

Speaker 5

I'm not confident to shop with them because of what people wrote about them.

Speaker 5

They've got a lot of negative reviews.

Speaker 5

So on Google, if you look for review, you see the the protein in tons of stars.

Speaker 5

So when I got there, discovered they gave them just one star.

Speaker 5

So that was all really pushed.

Speaker 3

Speaker 0

I've taken a lot of different things throughout my life, but I think now I just turned 50 years old.

Speaker 0

M Drive

M drive has really given me a really confident feeling, feeling 50.

Speaker 0

I will tell you, I'm still on the golf course, and I'm still playing with the young punks, and I'm still hitting it as far as the young guys, and I'm still beating the young guys.

Speaker 0

Your mind is gonna work better.

Speaker 0

Speaker 0

And m drive has just given me that confidence inside my body and inside my mind because I look better and I feel better.

Speaker 0

I don't feel 50.

Speaker 0

I don't act 50.

Speaker 0

For me, 50 is the new 30, and I'm looking to make it to a 100.

Speaker 0

I just refuse to grow old.

Speaker 3

Speaker 5

Me to go and see what people wrote about them, and I discovered they're all negative.

Speaker 5

And it's really gonna impact the company in a negative way.

Speaker 5

So at the end of the day, I decided not to shop with them because of that, and, I believe they've lost one customer at least because I did shop with them.

Speaker 5

Thank you.

Speaker 4

Oh, that's perfect.

Speaker 4

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 4

Very good.

Speaker 4

So you maintain two minutes.

Speaker 4

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 4

When the time is, like, more than two minutes, if you continue start continue speaking, it's not bad.

Speaker 4

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 4

When the examiner stops you, that means, yeah, you are really good.

Speaker 4

It's when the examiner stops you, it's always better.

Speaker 4

If you stay silent for ten, fifteen second, examiner will understand that you have nothing more to say, then Okay.

Speaker 4

Examiner will go to next step automatically.

Speaker 4

But if it is less than two second two minutes, then they'll think that, okay.

Speaker 4

You had, like, limited idea.

Speaker 4

But what you did now, it was really good.

Speaker 4

So you kept on going.

Speaker 4

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 4

That was really good.

Speaker 4

Thank you.

Speaker 4

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 4

So let's go to this part three question.

Speaker 4

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 4

So in the part three questions, normally, they want you to speak, like, something more more than it has more than what's written here.

Speaker 4

So at the end of this question, you see, they didn't say an explain example, but normally, they expect you to explain and give some personal experience or example.

Speaker 4

So here, let's start our discussion.

Speaker 4

What kind of things do people write online reviews about in your country?

Speaker 5

是的。

Yep.

Speaker 5

Most of the things that people write online reviews about my country are products, market products that people buy and it has a lot to do with customer services.

Speaker 5

So when people have a very bad experience with some services, they go on social media, they go on Google to express their feelings.

Speaker 4

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 4

So why do some people write online reviews anyway?

Speaker 5

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 5

If you go for a service and you are not satisfied or they you were not happy enough or what you got for your money was not what you expected to get, you might go and write an online review.

Speaker 5

Or maybe probably if extremely satisfied, you are extremely happy and excited and you wanted the world to know how you felt about the product, you might go online to do a review so that people will know what those services are, how to offer them and what they can get from them.

Speaker 4

完美。

Perfect.

Speaker 4

So do you think that online reviews are good for both shoppers and companies?

Speaker 5

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 5

To me, I believe online rate is good for both shoppers and both company in the sense that for shoppers, online reviews tell them what they are what they should expect from that service.

Speaker 5

For example, if a company has a negative online review, I believe is a red flag for shoppers.

Speaker 5

So when they see that they know their money is not safe.

Speaker 5

They know what they should expect from the service.

Speaker 5

And for companies, when you have a very positive online review, it's like a marketing strategy for them.

Speaker 5

It makes people to wanna shop with them, and it makes people to wanna buy their products.

Speaker 4

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 4

So let's talk about customer service.

Speaker 4

Do you think it might be like to work in a customer service?

Speaker 4

What do you feel about, like, working in a customer service job?

Speaker 5

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 5

Customer service job is very good.

Speaker 5

If you know how to relate with people very well, it's gonna really help you in terms of customer service.

Speaker 5

Customer service is like the face of the company.

Speaker 5

It shows what the companies entails, how the company relates with their customers.

Speaker 5

So a very good customer service will help the company to go far.

Speaker 5

But if the company has a very bad customer service, it's gonna affect them in a negative way.

Speaker 5

It's going to send the real customer from there.

Speaker 4

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 4

Do you agree that customers are more likely to complain nowadays?

Speaker 5

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 5

I agree customers are likely to complain nowadays because there are a lot of avenues to complain.

Speaker 5

Because of social media and technology, people tend to complain the more.

Speaker 5

People tend to put their feelings out there so that a lot of people can see.

Speaker 5

We know a lot of people that has a lot of followers on social media and it's very easy for them to complain.

Speaker 5

If they have a very bad service, they complain to people, they complain to the whole world, they complain to the company.

Speaker 5

They can even go to this company's social media websites to complain to lodge a complaint and you see people commenting about it.

Speaker 5

That shows a lot of people are seeing the negative side of the company which is not really good for the company.

Speaker 5

So people tend to complain nowadays.

Speaker 4

Okay, perfect.

Speaker 4

So how important is it for companies to take all customer complaints seriously?

Speaker 5

Yeah, it's very important for companies to take all customer complaints seriously because with the technology in town, anybody can see the negative complaints.

Speaker 5

So it's better they take it seriously and they address it so that customer will also go back online and let everybody that have heard about the negative complaint to know that they've really made it, corrected their mistake with her or him and now she's happy with their service because whoever sees a negative complaint about a company are likely not going to shop with that company because there is no company that has a monopoly power.

Speaker 5

Every company has a rival somewhere So instead of going to a company that people have written a lot of negative stuffs about, I'll try to go to the alternative that I have and all companies out there has alternative.

Speaker 5

People have options.

Speaker 5

People have other places where they can get the same product and even better products.

Speaker 5

So it's better you take all the complaints seriously.

Speaker 4

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 4

完美。

Perfect.
