It's time for a quickie.

Speaker 0

Podcast one presents the LadyGang, the Hollywood girl posse with LadyGang Quickie.

Speaker 0

Here's Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanick.

Speaker 1

Let's make this quick.

Speaker 2

Hello.

Speaker 2

Hello.

Speaker 2

Hello.

Speaker 2

Welcome to LadyGang Quickie.

Speaker 2

I am Becca here with Jack and Healthy.

Speaker 0

你好。

Hello.

Speaker 0

Hi.

Speaker 0

You have

Speaker 2

a cute little periwinkle.

Speaker 2

Is it a periwinkle cardigan?

Speaker 0

Know, it's from Aerie.

Speaker 0

你

You

Speaker 2

They are of my don't sponsor this podcast, which is so annoying.

Speaker 2

或者

Or

Speaker 0

they don't notice any time I tag them and all of my clothes are from there.

Speaker 0

Because we're over 30.

Speaker 1

It's because you're

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

Not Gen Sorry.

Speaker 0

But like I feel like I would be even more of an influencer for Aerie because I've shopped at them since I was 15.

Speaker 0

So I've given them way more money than any Gen Z would.

Speaker 0

You didn't have like a

Speaker 2

little break in the shopping.

Speaker 2

I feel like there was a point.

Speaker 0

No, there's definitely a break.

Speaker 0

Okay.

Speaker 2

I was gonna say a break.

Speaker 0

It was like a fifteen year break.

Speaker 0

And then I went back, like I said, to all of my stores I used to shop at because they're just reliable.

Speaker 1

Wait, can tell you before we start something so funny?

Speaker 2

Yeah.

Speaker 2

Just

Speaker 1

thinking about that.

Speaker 1

Okay.

Speaker 1

So, you know, I've been on a big, listen, everything's hard out here in 2026.

Speaker 1

Like we're in a recession.

Speaker 1

Everybody knows, like, the jobs are down.

Speaker 1

The podcast like, let we can be real about this guys.

Speaker 1

Like, you're struggling.

Speaker 1

We're struggling.

Speaker 2

I have a dumb question.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

Are we in do they say like we're in a recession or just like, are we in one?

Speaker 1

Think we are in a recession.

Speaker 2

Think all signs are pointing yes.

Speaker 2

But like, are we?

Speaker 2

My personal Keltie is in a recession.

Speaker 2

I am in a recession as well.

Speaker 0

I'm pretty sure that we don't even have to say it anymore because this is now just it is.

Speaker 0

It is.

Speaker 0

We are.

Speaker 1

And I think like to be real, like the tariffs were really hard on the advertisers for the podcast and the tariffs were hard on the advertisers for the TV.

Speaker 1

Unfortunately, all of us make our our life in entertainment, which is like you need brands, you know?

Speaker 1

So anyway, long story short, I have been getting creative in ways to just maximize like, you know, like so many people, like what I own, what I have, make money when I'm asleep.

Speaker 1

And so one of the ways that I did that, sorry, this is so dumb, but I just want to tell you it's because it's kind of funny we're talking about clothes, is that there's a company in LA called Janet Mendel, and they also have like Albright, but Janet Mendel, she'll take your old gowns and things you've already worn, and then she rents them.

Speaker 1

And that's like what she is.

Speaker 1

She's a showroom and I've rented a million dresses.

Speaker 1

And she started this thing where she will take your designer pieces that you have in your closet that you're not wearing and she'll rent them out and you can make money.

Speaker 1

And like every time someone it's a thousand dollars to rent a gown there, you make a $100.

Speaker 1

And I was like, well, I have all these pieces, my Bob Mackie.

Speaker 1

Like I have a lot of gowns that I've bought or been, you know, over these years.

Speaker 1

And I was like, all these people have weddings.

Speaker 1

I was like, I'm going to take over like 15 things like a Dior jacket that I'm not wearing.

Speaker 1

And I was like, and I'm going to make a couple thousand dollars a month because everyone's going to rent my stuff.

Speaker 1

Not one.

Speaker 1

Just got my invoice.

Speaker 1

One rental.

Speaker 1

That's good.

Speaker 0

What is it for?

Speaker 1

They wanted the white.

Speaker 1

I've only worn it once that white and ox like little rental thing.

Speaker 1

It's a it's a a dress I got in net a porte.

Speaker 1

It's white.

Speaker 1

But I honestly was like, I gotta be honest with you.

Speaker 1

I'm never gonna wear that dress again.

Speaker 1

A $100 at a pop.

Speaker 1

I'm just gonna go sell it on Poshmark.

Speaker 1

I'm just gonna go sell it on real real.

Speaker 1

Like, I'm I'm I'm retaking back the gowns.

Speaker 1

And then I was like, so they've been there for six months and I was like, one rental.

Speaker 1

And I was like, nobody wants my stuff.

Speaker 1

And she goes, they just all want archival.

Speaker 1

Everyone wants to be wearing archival Dior, archival, whatever.

Speaker 1

Anyway, so times are tough out here.

Speaker 1

Don't know why should give

Speaker 0

you more than 10%.

Speaker 2

I do too.

Speaker 0

I feel like that the split should be

Speaker 1

a They're little doing all the work and then they repair it.

Speaker 1

They dry clean it.

Speaker 1

Oh, okay.

Speaker 2

Alright.

Speaker 2

Anyway, that's why

Speaker 0

you can't have

Speaker 1

but I was like, nobody wants to rent during the entire award season, no one wants to rent my Bob Mackie.

Speaker 1

I guess only me wants to wear the unicorn Bob Mackie.

Speaker 1

Too recognizable.

Speaker 1

Anyway, long story short, Aerie.

Speaker 1

算了。

Anyway.

Speaker 2

You are so Jennifer Tilly because remember her reunion dress for Beverly Hills was the it was her face on it.

Speaker 2

Was it Beaumont?

Speaker 2

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 2

I mean, that is a Kelty move if I have ever seen one.

Speaker 2

You guys are really kindred spirits.

Speaker 1

Insane.

Speaker 1

Like, we're we're the same.

Speaker 1

Anyway, I don't wanna make this about me.

Speaker 1

It's about you.

Speaker 1

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 2

Alright.

Speaker 2

Well, Kelty, I told her a couple nights ago.

Speaker 2

I said, hey, I have a really fun episode planned for the quickie.

Speaker 2

You don't have to work for once in your life.

Speaker 2

Will do some heavy lifting.

Speaker 2

I'll produce this out.

Speaker 2

And so I did kind of scare her.

Speaker 2

She's like, what do you have planned?

Speaker 2

And are there any guesses?

Speaker 0

Like, what did you, what do you think I'm gonna do here?

Speaker 0

I truly don't know because I don't think you've ever done this before.

Speaker 1

Like, I think maybe you're gonna quit.

Speaker 2

No, I did it for someone's.

Speaker 2

I did it for you guys for mother.

Speaker 0

Was it yeah.

Speaker 0

Had to mother's anniversary.

Speaker 2

You guys with your mom's.

Speaker 1

Oh, that

Speaker 2

was so sweet.

Speaker 1

Oh my gosh.

Speaker 1

That was amazing.

Speaker 2

Oh, we should go again.

Speaker 2

So nice.

Speaker 2

Okay.

Speaker 1

I don't know.

Speaker 1

I feel like you think it's trash and you're taking over because you're like, we got to redo this and you want to talk about weird.

Speaker 1

Like you're probably watching Real Housewives of Rhode Island.

Speaker 1

Do want to talk about that maybe?

Speaker 2

I actually haven't started yet, but I hear it's wonderful.

Speaker 2

行。

Okay.

Speaker 2

No.

Speaker 2

What if I was like, you guys, I am actually going to be stepping down.

Speaker 2

You

Speaker 1

would do it live for the right for you're like, and in my last fleeting trying to get ads and downloads Yeah.

Speaker 1

I'm now gonna break new I'm gonna break news on the LadyGang.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

好。

Okay.

Speaker 2

So I'm getting ready to show you a picture.

Speaker 2

Then I just want your honest reactions.

Speaker 0

不行。

No.

Speaker 1

不行。

No.

Speaker 1

等等。

Wait.

Speaker 1

Whose baby is this?

Speaker 2

This is my baby.

Speaker 2

Shut the up.

Speaker 2

It's the fourth member of the LadyGang because she's a lady.

Speaker 0

I'm gonna cry.

Speaker 0

She's coming in August.

Speaker 0

Stop it.

Speaker 0

不行。

No.

Speaker 0

You're after your girl.

Speaker 0

Oh, my God.

Speaker 0

Wait, this is so exciting.

Speaker 0

Oh, my God.

Speaker 0

I'm so excited.

Speaker 1

My God.

Speaker 1

她

She

Speaker 0

has a whole head already.

Speaker 2

She has a whole big head.

Speaker 2

So her body is measuring like small petite, not too small.

Speaker 2

But then she has a big head, which Zach and Ford have like the world's largest heads.

Speaker 2

And she looks exactly like Ford.

Speaker 2

So I put this side by side.

Speaker 2

So here's that was her.

Speaker 2

And like, yeah, sometimes all babies look the same, but once you've had one and you see different profiles of different, that's Ford, they look like the same baby.

Speaker 0

Well, and she has your wait, that's that's Ford?

Speaker 2

That's Ford.

Speaker 2

Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2

Like profile.

Speaker 2

So same nose, same

Speaker 0

lips.

Speaker 0

这是

This is

Speaker 1

so first of all, how dare you keep this from us?

Speaker 1

Well, you know, Becca,

Speaker 0

you know, every time I see you, I always ask you about, I'm like, what's going on?

Speaker 1

Okay.

Speaker 1

I have to tell you something.

Speaker 1

No, I need to tell you something that happened.

Speaker 1

And I was like, you're fucking crazy.

Speaker 1

So a few weeks ago, like two weeks ago, and I didn't bring this up.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

I was at a photo shoot and I ran into Sue Madore, who is a publicist and she works with us and she works with everyone and she works with Podcast One.

Speaker 1

And she was like, oh my god, I'm so excited for Becca.

Speaker 1

And I was like, yeah, I know.

Speaker 1

She seems like everything's going great for her.

Speaker 1

And she goes, no.

Speaker 1

And like the new baby.

Speaker 1

And I was like, I No.

Speaker 1

等等。

Wait.

Speaker 1

You told No.

Speaker 1

不是。

No.

Speaker 1

I was like I was like, oh, I know.

Speaker 1

I think she's I think we're gonna do more mom podcasting.

Speaker 1

Like, I think we're gonna you know, because like there we have so many LadyGang moms who are trying to figure out what to do.

Speaker 1

And I was like, I think she meant that like her new baby, but not like a baby.

Speaker 1

I was like, I would know.

Speaker 1

And she was like, oh, she's like, oh, maybe I wasn't supposed to say anything.

Speaker 1

And I was like, oh, yeah.

Speaker 1

And I was like, she looked at me and she was like, wow, she didn't tell you that's dark.

Speaker 1

And I was like, oh, so does she know?

Speaker 1

因为……

Because

Speaker 2

she may know only because, okay, so this is airing the day after the BabyGang launch.

Speaker 2

So yesterday was the first episode of BabyGang.

Speaker 2

And on that episode, I had my surrogate on with me and we were talking about that's how we announced that this baby was coming.

Speaker 2

And so I did have to have conversations at podcast one in regards to like an announcement and that there's gonna be some press around it.

Speaker 2

I mean, maybe today there's crickets, who knows?

Speaker 2

But, you know, just to prepare everybody because it's like, you know, whatever.

Speaker 2

And then and then with sponsors and brands and stuff, having the conversation around like being a having a new baby and all that stuff.

Speaker 2

So I knew it was risky.

Speaker 2

And I did tell, like I told Sue at pod the other Sue at podcast one, I did tell her like, we're not telling the girls yet because I wanted to get their reaction on camera.

Speaker 2

You've little spanked.

Speaker 0

I'm dying.

Speaker 1

This is wild because I was so confused.

Speaker 1

Sue……

I was like, Sue.

Speaker 1

I was like, come on.

Speaker 1

And I was like, she's like, wow, you guys really aren't close anymore.

Speaker 1

I was like, no, are.

Speaker 1

We are close.

Speaker 1

We know everything.

Speaker 1

I know about Jack's third nipple.

Speaker 1

LadyGang is brought to by OneSkin, and this is a crazy story.

Speaker 1

But Becca had started using OneSkin, and she wrote an email to our team.

Speaker 1

And she was like, hey.

Speaker 1

I love this product.

Speaker 1

Is there any way they would come on so that the LadyGang can get a deal?

Speaker 1

And they ended up coming back and saying, absolutely.

Speaker 1

The LadyGang。

The LadyGang.

Speaker 1

I knew you were going

Speaker 0

to keep this from us.

Speaker 0

I just knew it.

Speaker 1

I knew You felt

Speaker 2

it, Jack?

Speaker 0

对。

Yes.

Speaker 0

Well, I literally, I'm not kidding you.

Speaker 0

Like anytime I get the chance, I ask Becca like, what's going on with the surrogate?

Speaker 0

Like every single time.

Speaker 0

And I'm like, I just had an inkling that like it was going to be a surprise

Speaker 1

because you had I but then I thought you gave up on a second baby.

Speaker 1

That's where I was at.

Speaker 1

I was like, oh, she's like, no, it's too much.

Speaker 1

I'm not doing it.

Speaker 1

And there was all these different you probably talk about our BabyGang, but like all the different laws of being in Texas and like how to get the surrogate and everything like it was just so much that I was like, oh, she's just decided to have one because you were very troubled by this for a long time about Ford being an only child like Jack.

Speaker 1

Oh my God.

Speaker 1

God forbid.

Speaker 1

Forbid.

Speaker 2

No, I did for a minute.

Speaker 2

So, you know, just a little bit of backstory.

Speaker 2

The the incredible angel that carried Ford lives in Texas, and we were planning on doing it again.

Speaker 2

Round two, she was wonderful.

Speaker 2

And we had such a great, you know, rapport.

Speaker 2

But then since Ford was born, laws have changed in Texas and it's too risky to have a woman carrying for me to carry my baby because if something were to happen, I didn't trust that her life would become would be more important than the baby because that to me, I mean, don't care what you say to me still at the in this moment, the surrogate, the woman carrying the baby is her life is more important.

Speaker 2

She has her own children, her own family.

Speaker 2

So I was like, it wasn't a Sophie's Choice because it's a no brainer.

Speaker 2

But because I was just too afraid, and I'd had conversations with a few people leading up to that, trying to decide, do we just risk it?

Speaker 2

Do we not?

Speaker 2

And and she was like, I'm willing to risk this.

Speaker 2

Like, you know, But I I just to not make it too serious, I just felt like there was no world that I would feel comfortable with her living in a state that they really do.

Speaker 2

If there's a heartbeat inside of your belly, it really doesn't have a they don't really some people don't really give a shit what's happening to the person carrying the baby.

Speaker 2

So we found a wonderful surrogate that after that happened, I was really heartbroken, and I was just so sad and defeated.

Speaker 2

And I just felt like, you know, this is the universe telling me maybe this is it.

Speaker 2

This is the part that you, you know, the and I'm and we were so happy when we made up our minds that we were gonna just put an put an end to the journey.

Speaker 2

We were very happy.

Speaker 2

We were thrilled about the idea of having Ford and Ford alone.

Speaker 2

And then this random email comes through from my friend and he said I know that you guys are feeling very discouraged but there's this wonderful wonderful woman in Atlanta where I'm from where Zach's from where entire families are from.

Speaker 2

So it felt like a really crazy good omen because our families are there.

Speaker 2

And Georgia is a little bit friendlier of a state with protecting pregnant people.

Speaker 2

They're not a total banned state.

Speaker 2

It's just so I like hate that I know all these things.

Speaker 2

But so I met her.

Speaker 2

She came to see the LadyGang show in Atlanta when we were there.

Speaker 2

And I met her in person and she's just so awesome and wonderful and that we had a conversation on the podcast of BabyGang yesterday where we chat about the whole journey.

Speaker 2

And I was like, you know what?

Speaker 2

We'll try this again.

Speaker 2

We'll go for it.

Speaker 2

Why not?

Speaker 2

And then we did one transfer in the summer and it did not take well, it took, but then she miscarried.

Speaker 2

And then we did another transfer in December and that took.

Speaker 2

But because of all of our history with false starts, with losses, with all the stuff, I was just like, until we have that twenty week scan, which is kind of like where you can check off all the boxes and it you it's a little bit more relaxed from that point on.

Speaker 2

You've seen like the organs and the brain and all of the things that are how they're supposed to look.

Speaker 2

So that was this morning, the twenty week scan.

Speaker 2

The timing of this.

Speaker 2

Yeah.

Speaker 0

Holy shit.

Speaker 2

We haven't told Ford yet.

Speaker 2

Like we, he doesn't know yet.

Speaker 2

So don't worry, Kelty.

Speaker 2

He's the last to know.

Speaker 0

How do you think he's gonna respond?

Speaker 2

He's been having weird moments lately of like before he's like, I don't want a brother or sister.

Speaker 2

Like, he's like, don't want a baby.

Speaker 2

I don't want a baby for so long.

Speaker 2

He's been saying that.

Speaker 2

And then the other day he said, I, it's okay if we have a baby.

Speaker 2

Like, it's okay if we do.

Speaker 2

He doesn't want a sister.

Speaker 2

I'll tell you that much.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

But then he's been having these questions with Zach.

Speaker 2

One morning he woke up and Zach went in his eyes had just opened.

Speaker 2

And we've been telling Ford, like you started in mommy's belly because he's seen a lot of pregnant women around.

Speaker 2

And he's like, was I in your belly?

Speaker 2

And I said, because he did.

Speaker 2

He started in my belly as an egg.

Speaker 2

And so I said, yes, I, yes, you did start in my belly, but then I didn't get into any of the

Speaker 1

too I don't even understand it.

Speaker 1

Exactly.

Speaker 2

He's four.

Speaker 2

So then the other morning he woke up and he said to Zach, he's like, so I started in mommy's belly, but then whose belly did I come out of?

Speaker 2

Which is really weird.

Speaker 2

Like, does he remember?

Speaker 0

He's getting flashbacks.

Speaker 0

是的

Yeah.

Speaker 0

I'm not being born.

Speaker 2

It was not your belly, bitch.

Speaker 2

I heard another voice.

Speaker 2

It was another voice.

Speaker 2

That's crazy.

Speaker 2

Wow.

Speaker 2

Yeah.

Speaker 2

So it was something like that or where did, but did she, but did she, did I come out of her belly?

Speaker 2

就像……等等,

It was like something like Wait,

Speaker 1

so what's your due date?

Speaker 0

August 26.

Speaker 0

That is so exciting.

Speaker 2

So she's gonna be a Virgo.

Speaker 2

But if she comes early, she'll be a Leo, which is Zach's sign.

Speaker 2

So I

Speaker 1

Oh, say God.

Speaker 1

I can't wait to meet Baby Kelty Jacqueline.

Speaker 1

你有

Do

Speaker 0

you have names?

Speaker 2

We're having trouble.

Speaker 2

Like I always do a family name.

Speaker 2

Like Ford was the family name.

Speaker 2

So it's really hard.

Speaker 2

Girl names are hard because some of the ones that I love have become more common.

Speaker 2

And then my grandmother who I'm like, she passed away when I was in high school, but she was like my person, you know?

Speaker 2

And her name would have been a no brainer, but everywhere I go, some one has this name.

Speaker 0

I was literally, I don't know why, but last night I was looking at the 100 most popular baby names and it's like all the girl names are all the names that I think people think are unique, but they're literally not.

Speaker 0

It's all 97 Ava's.

Speaker 0

Yes.

Speaker 0

It's like, I don't know.

Speaker 0

It's like all of these, like me, Maeve.

Speaker 0

It Maeve or me?

Speaker 0

Maeve。

Maeve.

Speaker 0

Maeve Dotty Beatrice。

Maeve Dotty Beatrice.

Speaker 0

Beatrice。

Beatrice.

Speaker 0

Like things that I thought I think people thought were unique.

Speaker 0

And then they're like number seven on the most popular list because everybody's going like vintage and like

Speaker 2

timeless.

Speaker 2

And grandma names.

Speaker 2

Isn't it going be weird when we're grandmas and all these people are naming their kids like Becca or like Rebecca?

Speaker 2

Like, oh, it's old fashioned, but it's a So

Speaker 0

old school.

Speaker 0

Jezzel,

Speaker 1

Lindsey.

Speaker 1

Ashley.

Speaker 0

Ever heard of it?

Speaker 0

It's fresh.

Speaker 0

Unique.

Speaker 0

Well, that's the thing.

Speaker 0

Those names are not popular anymore.

Speaker 0

So it's like, if you were gonna go unique name her Ashley.

Speaker 2

Ashley?

Do I go Ashley?

Speaker 2

So she would be the only Ashley in her entire

Speaker 0

grade.

Speaker 0

That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2

是的

Yeah.

Speaker 2

Everywhere.

Speaker 2

So we're trying to figure it out.

Speaker 2

It's really tough.

Speaker 2

It's we knew Ford for so long.

Speaker 2

Like it was an, it was so easy with Ford.

Speaker 2

So it's really hard.

Speaker 2

It's really hard.

Speaker 1

This is so exciting, but honestly, my, my Kelty brain is swirling because I'm like, oh, this makes so much sense.

Speaker 1

Like, you've been so passionate about BabyGang and, like, wanting to do something.

Speaker 1

And and I was like, oh, this is amazing.

Speaker 1

And now I'm like, oh, we're having a girl.

Speaker 1

Like, we're having a fucking girl.

Speaker 0

My God.

Speaker 0

I cannot wait.

Speaker 0

Is that wild?

Speaker 0

That's gonna be so

Speaker 1

Thank God you're having a girl.

Speaker 1

Think it's very important that this happens.

Speaker 0

是的

Yeah.

Speaker 0

Well, she got to choose.

Speaker 0

我知道

No, I know.

Speaker 1

But like, Becca should be a girl mom.

Speaker 2

对

Yeah.

Speaker 1

Like, and a boy mom.

Speaker 0

You know

Speaker 1

what I mean?

Speaker 0

All your

Speaker 1

clothes and your style and all that jewelry.

Speaker 1

Now

Speaker 2

Ford's bitchy wife won't get it.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

Suck her.

Speaker 2

It's all for the Maeve

Speaker 1

Maeve the wife.
