大多数人来安塔利亚,就是为了海滩和阳光,别的也不怎么在意,这也没问题。

This is what most people come to Antalya for, beach, sun, and not much else, and that's fine.

Speaker 1

但只要往内陆走一点,你就能在卡布鲁卢峡谷国家公园体验到另一个安塔利亚——这里是土耳其最适合开展户外冒险运动的地方之一,也是当地向导贝芬·塞尔吉的最爱。

But head inland just a little, and you can experience a different kind of Antalya at Kabrulu Canyon National Park, one of Turkey's most accessible places for adventure sports and personal favorite spot of local guide Berfin of Selig.

Speaker 2

你一整天都可以待在这里。

You can spend your whole day here.

Speaker 2

首先,去峡谷里玩激流泛舟。

First, you should go to the canyon to do roughing.

Speaker 2

天哪。

Oh my god.

Speaker 2

但这里能玩的远不止这些。

But there is so much more than that.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 1

这些山丘里可不止有肾上腺素激增的快感。

It's not just adrenaline that's to be found in these hills.

Speaker 1

在河谷高处,亚当石柱环绕着塞尔吉古城的遗迹,这座古城的历史比漂流路线要久远得多。

High above the river, the pillars of Adam rock surround the ruins of the ancient city of Selgi, an ancient city that's been here far longer than the rafting routes.

Speaker 2

塞尔吉就像一颗等待被发现的宝石。

Selgi is like a gem waiting to be discovered.

Speaker 1

这跟你在安塔利亚原本期待的一天不太一样,但正因如此,才正是它的魅力所在。

So it's not exactly what you expected from a day in Antalya, but that's exactly the point.

Speaker 3

你在工作中会允许别人帮忙吗?

Do you let people help you at work?

Speaker 4

还是说你有点控制欲强?

Or are you a bit of a control freak?

Speaker 4

如果是我特别在意的事情,而且我早就想好了该怎么做的,那确实很难放手交给别人。

If it's something I feel strongly about and I have a very fixed idea of how I want it to happen, then it can be difficult to delegate.

Speaker 4

但总的来说,我觉得人越多越好。

But generally, I think the more people involved, the better.

Speaker 4

只要别人能帮上忙,我当然很乐意让他们来做一部分工作。

And if people can help, then I'm very happy for them to, you know, do some of the tasks.

Speaker 5

一般来说,如果能和很多人一起合作,人越多越热闹。

Generally, if I've got a lot of people to work with, I think the more the merrier.

Speaker 5

我觉得你们能合作得非常出色。

You can produce an excellent group effort, I think.

今天的节目完全围绕着任务分派展开。

Today's episode is all about delegating.

Speaker 3

那什么是委派工作呢,菲尔?

So what's delegating, Phil?

Speaker 3

你觉得委派工作容易吗?

And do you find it easy to delegate?

Speaker 0

不容易。

No, don't.

Speaker 0

委派就是把你正在做的事交给别人去做,或者请别人帮你分担一部分工作。

Delegating is when you give someone else something that you're doing to do, or you ask someone to do some of your work.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

我在这方面不太行。

I'm not very good at it.

Speaker 0

我经常想把所有事都自己扛下来。

I try and do it all myself quite often.

Speaker 3

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 3

我平时习惯了一个人做事。

I think I'm often used to working on my own.

Speaker 3

所以一旦需要交办任务时,手头事情太多,就觉得特别难下手。

And so when I then need to delegate, I've got too much to do, I find it a bit difficult to do that.

Speaker 3

我觉得自己有点控制欲太强。

I'm a bit of a control freak, I think.

Speaker 3

有时候觉得,教别人做这件事花的时间太长了,还不如自己干了省事——虽然这想法不太对,但确实经常这么想。

Also, sometimes you feel like it would take so long to tell someone else how to do it, that I might as well have just done it myself, which is probably not the right way to think, but it's sometimes what I think.

Speaker 0

当然,比普,但我们不是管理者,我觉得这点很关键。

Of course, Beep, but we're not managers, and I think that might be a big thing here.

Speaker 3

今天我们就来聊聊,什么时候该交办任务、交办什么,以及怎么在工作中礼貌又清楚地给同事下指令。

So today we'll talk about when and what to delegate, and how you can be polite and clear when you give someone else instructions at work.

Speaker 0

我们先说说该交办哪些事。

Let's start with what to delegate.

Speaker 0

假设你正在做一个项目,突然事情一下子涌上来,多到你忙不过来。

Let's imagine you're working on a project and suddenly things become very busy and there's too much for you to do.

Speaker 0

你的老板决定让团队里的另一位成员来帮你做这个项目,并让你把一些任务交给他。

Your boss decides that another member of your team will help you on the project and ask you to delegate some tasks to them.

Speaker 0

那你该从哪儿开始呢?

Where do you start?

Speaker 3

问得好,菲尔。

Good question, Phil.

Speaker 3

我觉得这时候你得先理清楚手头的各种任务,看看哪些能交给别人帮忙。

I think this is where you have to try and sort out your different tasks and what could somebody help you with.

Speaker 3

我一般会问自己几个问题。

So I always think about a few different questions.

Speaker 3

哪些事是紧急的?

So what's urgent?

Speaker 3

哪些事必须马上处理?

What needs to be done now?

Speaker 3

哪些事对完成方式有特别要求?

What's important that it's done in a certain way?

Speaker 3

那我具体该做些什么呢?

So what maybe do I need to do?

Speaker 3

然后还要考虑,哪些事情容易说清楚,或者对方做起来比较轻松?

And then also what's easy to explain or what's easy for the other person to do?

Speaker 3

所以你肯定不想把所有难的、枯燥的任务都丢给别人,自己全挑轻松的干。

So you probably don't want to give them all of the difficult tasks, all of the boring tasks, and you do all the fun ones.

Speaker 3

所以没错,我会看哪些事紧急、哪些重要、哪些容易说明白,就这么来判断。

So yeah, what's urgent, what's important, what's easy to explain, that's how I think about it.

Speaker 0

我觉得这一点特别关键,就是任务好不好解释,就像你之前说的,有些事解释起来比做起来还费时间。

I think that's the really important one, actually, how easy is it to explain, because as you said earlier, there are some things that actually can take longer to explain than to do.

Speaker 0

所以你靠把这些事交出去,到底能省多少时间,还真不好说。

So there's probably I don't know how much time you save by delegating those.

Speaker 0

但有些事就很简单,根本不需要多少背景知识。

But other things are just really easy or people don't need a lot of background.

Speaker 0

有些任务,别人得先了解一大堆前因后果才能明白,但有些事就很直接——就这几步,独立完成,做完了就行。

Some tasks, maybe you need to know a lot of what is going on before it makes sense, whereas other tasks are quite easy to, okay, it's just this, it's quite independent, you do this, you do this, it's done.

Speaker 3

如果你不是管理者,也不是负责梳理这些任务的人,刚接触一个项目时,真的很难判断哪些事情该交出去。

If you're not a manager, if you're not someone who has to sort through these tasks, I think it's really difficult to initially, when you look at a project, work out what are the right things to delegate.

Speaker 3

所以,关键是要看哪些事紧急。

So, yeah, what's urgent?

Speaker 3

哪些事重要。

What's important?

Speaker 3

哪些事容易说清楚。

What's easy to explain?

Speaker 0

明白了。

Okay.

Speaker 0

那我们现在知道该交出去哪些事了。

So we've worked out what to delegate.

Speaker 0

接下来就得实际去分配了。

Now we need to do the delegating.

Speaker 0

你会怎么操作呢?

How would you do this?

Speaker 3

其实有几种方式可以跟人说起不同的任务。

Well, there's a couple of ways you could talk about different tasks.

Speaker 3

我们可以用委婉一点的说法,也可以用直接一点的说法。

We could use indirect language, or we could use direct language.

Speaker 3

在英国的工作环境中,委婉表达很常见。

Indirect language is quite common in British English in British workplaces.

Speaker 3

我可能会说:‘你能不能帮我一下?’

So I might say something like, would you mind helping me with?

Speaker 3

然后再说具体要做什么任务。

And then talk about the tasks.

Speaker 3

或者说:‘你能帮个忙吗?’再解释清楚。

Or could you give me a hand with and then explain.

Speaker 3

这听起来有点奇怪,明明是老板安排他们来帮我的,但我还是更愿意用这些礼貌的说法,而不是摆出一副命令的口气。

So it's kind of strange because they have been asked by the boss to help you, but I would probably use those polite phrases rather than kind of becoming all bossy myself.

Speaker 0

我觉得我也是这样。

I think I'm the same.

Speaker 0

我觉得这可能特别有英国风格。

I think this might be a very English way of doing it.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

当然也有更直接一点的做法。

You there there are some ways you could do it more directly.

Speaker 0

对我来说,这些话更像是经理会说的。

These to me sound more like what a manager would say.

Speaker 0

比如,我把这个任务交给你负责,或者这事归你管了。

Like, I'm making you responsible for or I'm handing this over to you.

Speaker 0

这些话都很直接,而我觉得我们的工作文化通常比较委婉。

They're quite direct, and as to say, I think our work culture is often quite indirect.

Speaker 0

所以,我可能不太会直接跟同事这么说。

So I'm not sure I would feel comfortable just saying that to my colleagues.

Speaker 0

但如果我是经理,我大概就会说了,毕竟人家也期待我这么做。

If I was a manager, I probably would because they're expecting me to do that.

Speaker 3

我可能会说另一种比较委婉的话,比如:‘这个我交给你来做,可以吗?’

Another indirect phrase I might say is, oh, I'm gonna give this to you to do, is that okay?

Speaker 3

你可以直接说,但加上一句‘可以吗’,听起来就更礼貌了。

So just like, you can be quite direct, but then asking is that okay, makes it more polite.

Speaker 3

这两种说法其实很容易切换,或者也可以混着用。

So you can easily kind of switch from the two or mix the two.

Speaker 0

对。

Yes.

Speaker 3

很多人觉得委派任务很难,因为他们觉得告诉别人怎么做,花的时间跟自己做差不多。

So a lot of people find it difficult to delegate because they think telling someone else how to do something, as we mentioned, would take just as long as doing it.

Speaker 3

或者他们担心别人做不好,没法按自己的方式来。

Or they just worry that the other person might not do things in the right way and do things how they would do them.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

关键是要把指令说清楚。

So it's all about giving clear instructions.

Speaker 0

我们再来听听BBC的同事肖恩和乔治怎么说。

Let's listen to our BBC colleagues, Sean and George, again.

Speaker 5

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 5

给出具体的例子,比如展示你以前做过的工作,让人清楚知道该怎么做。

Give giving concrete examples, perhaps showing some examples of work that you've done before to give people a clear idea of what they're supposed to do.

Speaker 4

最好给他们机会提问,万一有什么不清楚的地方,也可以通过提问来确认他们是否理解了。

I guess giving them a chance to ask questions in case they, you know, want anything clarifying and maybe check-in they've understood by asking them questions.

Speaker 3

所以肖恩和乔治提到,用例子来辅助工作中的指令传达。

So Sean and George talked about using examples to help when you're giving instructions at work.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 0

他们还提到,要确认委托对象真正理解了任务。

And they also mentioned checking that the person you're delegating to understands.

Speaker 3

没错。

Yes.

Speaker 3

那我们来聊聊如何用礼貌的方式表达这些内容。

So let's talk about some language that we can use to do this politely.

Speaker 3

比如,当你举例子时,可以说:‘这是电子表格的模板。’

So if you were talking about an example, you could say, here's a template for the spreadsheet.

Speaker 3

如果你有什么不明白的地方,随时告诉我。

Let me know if everything makes sense to you.

Speaker 3

你先举个例子,再给他们机会提出疑问或澄清困惑。

So you're telling them about an example, and then you're giving them a chance to kind of question or ask any questions they have.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

如果你想示范某件事怎么做,可以说:‘我平时都是这样记笔记的。’

And if you want to show someone how you do something, you might just say something like, I usually make notes like this.

Speaker 0

有什么问题随时找我。

Give me a shout if you have any questions.

Speaker 0

这句话的意思就是:有问题就来问我。

That just means ask me if you've got any questions.

Speaker 3

另一种解释方式可以更直接一点,比如问:你能按这个流程来吗?

Another way you could explain something, you could be more direct and say, could you follow this process?

Speaker 3

也就是说,你并没有给他们选择的余地。

So you're not really giving them an option.

Speaker 3

但如果有什么不明白的地方,随时问我。

But if you have any difficulties, just ask.

Speaker 3

所以,你还是给了他们机会,好让他们说出自己哪里没听懂。

So again, you're giving them a chance to kind of say if they don't understand the instructions.

Speaker 3

这确实有点难,因为有时候你跟同事讲怎么做事情,自己都觉得不太自在。

It's hard because sometimes you feel awkward with a colleague telling them how to do something.

Speaker 3

这些说法能让语气更礼貌、更友好,也不会让人觉得你在把对方当傻子,觉得他们什么都不会。

So those kind of phrases make it all quite polite, quite friendly, and also that you're not kind of treating them like they're an idiot and they don't understand how to do anything.
