Well, I think that, like, there are once you have people burning a lot of tokens, then you realize that there are great people who are great at burning tokens for something very effective and the people who are not really great at burning tokens very effective.
The past, we care a lot about models because we can do very limited things, and there's not that much creativity that we can't really have because it was limited entirely by the model behavior.
I would say, right now, I believe the AGI is here, as in the model is already smarter than probably every human, is already smarter than most human in the world.
So it's a matter it's not a matter of they're not smart enough.
It's a matter of they are smart.
You have a genius working for you at all times.
What are we're going to make those genius do?
So I think that's where there is going to be a huge difference of how people leverage those intelligence.
I still think I don't believe a world where AI is so smart that there is no difference in people.
I think there's going to be tremendous amount of differences among people who are really good at using intelligence wisely for something super ambitious.
And then people who who have the smartest genie and then they can do anything, but they don't know any ideas for that genius to do.
I think there's going to be vast differences between people who are extremely good at combating, you know, like thousands of agents versus somebody who can barely make one agent work.
So, income inequality, all of that stuff will be significantly increased because of that.
Yeah, yeah, I would assume as well, and I mean you're right, you know, most people are probably, they don't have high agency, that's why they wouldn't even use that stuff even if it was at their kind of fingertips, and then at the same time, you know, you probably, I have this feeling in the past as well now with AI, you feel like, oh, the whole world is open to you, then you don't even know how where to start, and that's why you kind of get paralyzed, you know, or like there's a paralysis in using AI, because you feel like the options are just too vast, and so you kind of have to overcome this as well.
How would you say, if you wanna become a good token maxer, you know, a great token maxer, how can you learn this sort of like?
Well, I think there's first of all, like, I I don't really think you need to know coding at all at this point.
I I was like, I I've I've seen many people who are really good at using AI, and they're surprisingly not technical.
Because I think when you're a programmer, you're used to coding certain ways.
You're used to guiding AI to a certain way.
You tend to be in the nitty gritty details.
But when you don't know the nitty gritty details of how they actually write code, and then you're able to think outside the box.
So I'm seeing a lot of people who are business people, who are humanities people, they turns out they are great at commanding AI, sometimes way better than the developer.
So that is definitely not a requirement that you have to be technical.
I think that the biggest difference I see people who are very agentic, who are very good at command because at my company, we do Tycoon.
So what we do is we help essentially, one person can manage like hundreds of agents to do things.
A lot of people are using us to run one person company.
A lot of them are using us to run startups.
So we can see people who are very good at using AdWords and people who are not very good at using AI.
I think the biggest difference is that a very good If If we were to use AI effectively, it's like how do you manage people effectively?
If you were to micromanage a direct report, you probably can't manage a lot of direct reports because you have to constantly watching.
So the whole point is how do you design a system where you can give AI a huge project?
Sometimes it will mess up, but you have to build a guardrail so it's less likely they will mess up big time.
But you also give them a lot of ambition, ambitious projects so they can actually do huge scope of things.
When you give AI a very small scope task, changing the button from blue to yellow, there's not that many ways they can be creative at creating a lot of impact because the original task is very small.
But if you're asking AI to let's say, run my company and make me a million dollars, that's probably too much.
But that ambition can incentivize you to make it work.
And maybe you need to build a marketing agent, need to build a developer agent, you build a operation agent.
And those agents talk to each other, they collaborate with each other.
So because you have a high ambition, then you can break down the problem.
You can even brainstorm with agents, how you can design an agent that helps you make a million dollars.
And because your ambition is so large, you're going to actually come upon very smart ideas.
And then you're going to have like you still need to build guardrails to make sure AI doesn't mess up.
But because you have a huge ambition, it's more likely that through the intelligence agents help, you're able to identify smart ways to commend that agent.
So would say the only the number one big difference is how big is your ambition.
If your ambition is I wanna be the world's president, help me get there, I bet you will do much better than some who just say like write me a tweet, you know.
Hey, guys.
I'm thrilled to share my new book, The Bitcoin Enlightenment, coauthored with Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas.
Make sure you grab your copy now and learn about how one of the richest people in all of Latin America thinks about Bitcoin.
You'll find the link in the show notes.
对。
Yeah.
That's a good that's a good point.
In in terms of the agents that you mentioned, you know, this is something I'm also pondering as a as a total layman, you know, but, like, we we had the open claw moment, you know, as you as you referenced, and that was the, wow, you know, agent.
I can have autonomous agents running for me twenty four hours around the clock, how cool is that?
Then people started to like, okay, how can I get my own agent?
And then they felt like in the beginning, okay, with Open Claw, I need my own Mac mini or my hardware, and a lot of people stopped at this because they felt like, oh, it's too much of a hassle, you know, to set up my own agent.
Is this gonna be the case in the future as well?
Will everybody will have to run their own local LLM to do this, or like what are some good options for like everyday people to get to have their own agents and have them run like continuously?
First of all, I don't believe the open clause is designed for everyday people.
I think it's it's still very difficult for average people to actually use it.
And that is not a feature is a bug.
It's not it's not that's not the good thing.
The good thing is that should be so easy when you're using, for example, when you visit a website, you go to YouTube, just go to the link and you have it.
And you will text people.
You don't think about you have to buy some server to text people.
Like, that is not something that most people should do and will do.
I think there are actually infrastructure innovations that people I know that people are working on that to make it super easy, maybe just like one click away, you can have an agent.
So I think that problem will be solved even within the next twelve months, I would imagine.
The idea of having open cloud working for you 20 fourseven, you don't need a computer.
You can do that in the cloud.
You go to sleep.
And you may need 10 agents.
And then 10 agents can work for you.
You don't need to buy 10 computers.
I think that will happen pretty quickly.
I don't really think people need to waste their time thinking about plumbing work.
Like, how do you make how do you build the pipes for agents to work?
I think people there are some developers who are very smart will solve that problem.
I think for everyday people, would imagine when the tech is really good in the next six to twelve months, anybody can, within a button away, having like tens of agents, hundreds of agents working for you without you needing to set up anything.
So I think that will happen.
It's just that right now, we're pretty early.
It's early adopter.
Autonomous agents are really cool.
Open cloud are this trend.
So the entire infrastructure and all the things are not ready to see this.
And that's why, you know, it's very hard for most people to adopt it.
But I believe that's a skill that most people don't and shouldn't waste their time learning.
How do you think the world or what do you think the world will look like?
Know, you said in six to twelve to eighteen months, you know, when everybody has their own agent, like, yeah, what will be different?
And like, it's so hard to imagine, like if we're sitting here right now and we feel like, okay, where could this all go?
You know, like having tasted like the benefits of all these things already, you know?
Well, think like even in my company, like my previous company, the first company I started, we have almost 80 people.
We had to raise a lot of money and there's a lot of meetings and there's a lot of direct reports and there's a lot of alignment, whatever.
But now I like, I literally have like three people and because I don't really want to manage a lot of people, because I realized last year we had 20 people.
Now we have three.
Because it's so slow.
When you're managing 20 people, there's many different jobs.
They have meetings.
They have alignment.
And it takes forever.
Now with three people, our productivity actually increases 20x.
Because obviously, we have really smart, agentic people who are very good at solving problems with AI.
And they're able to generate outcomes and productivity that's insanely fast.
Because, I mean, we do have hundreds of agents working for our company.
We have three individuals that manage those hundreds of agents.
We're probably more on the more frontier agentic side, but I could see that that it will be a future reality.
It's like most company will scale not necessarily by the number of people.
I think salespeople will still keep their job, But a lot of times, a company probably don't need a lot of heads.
They need a lot of agents.
But as a result, more people probably will feel empowered to sell their own company because it doesn't cost them much money.
You don't need to hire the perfect CTO, the best developer to work for you.
You can literally just ask AI to help.
So I think people will generally, who have a high agency, will be able to accomplish their dream with less cost, with faster speed, and they can test their idea quickly.
很快。
Quickly.
But I I think think the most dangerous type of people are the one who are not very high agency.
They're very used to corporate America the way that corporate America has been running.
And they're very good at holding alignment meetings, and they're very used to doing office, all of those stuff.
I think they may find themselves in danger when we're going through some organizational transformation.
I believe the biggest transformation right now will be the organizational transformation.
The company needs to be redesigned, rebuilt, you know, in the fundamentally new way for agents to be the majority of the employees, human or the home managing agents versus human managed, human managed, human versus I think that is the biggest transformation.
It's not there yet.
Right now, we're still at oh, agents are so productive.
So we have the same human organizational structure.
But each human has some agent to make that person more effective.
But when you look at the organizational productivity, most of the organization don't see a significant improvement because the majority of the time is still spent in meetings, alignments, all
of that.
对。
So Yeah.
It's very interesting because, like, if I if I put on my doomer hat, so to say, which I usually don't wear, but, like, then, you know, all these thoughts of societal consequences come to mind.
You know what happens like if you, as you said, you know, you had 80 people, then 20 people, now you just have like three real flesh meat and flesh people that are managing these agents.
Like, yeah, what happens to these people then?
Know, is it is it gonna be as you said, know everybody will start its own company because they now have a super intelligence genie in their pocket and they can use it and that's why that the picture changes and it's not gonna be about these big corporates anymore, but a lot of solopreneurs and stuff or is it gonna be that where everybody is gonna gonna be living on the streets and and and or how do you think about this?
I I'm generally very optimistic just because I think the things that at least right now the AI doesn't have is AI doesn't have desire.
They don't tell me what they want.
They're really good at helping me accomplish what I want.
But they themselves are not the one who come up with desires.
And I think as human, we are very greedy and we are very imaginative that we have a lot of desires.
And I think there's historically, our job was to be employee of a corporate America.
And our dream is to accomplish our bosses or the CEO or the founder's desires.
And we're very used to be treated as a little tool working in a machine.
And we need to operate in certain ways.
I think with AI, AI can replace us in those jobs where we are a little tool, in a little machine.
But then maybe that's something that we can go back to having our own desires and we each have own, you know, a team of Asia that can accomplish our dreams.
So I don't I think it's I'm very optimistic because I think there's a lot of desires that people have.
There's lot of needs that people have.
Even if you think about software in generally, obviously, the the dark side for people who are pessimistic, they think the SaaS stock is going down to the bottom and there's no hope.
But the positive way that I think about it is like traditionally, most of the software are the same.
Notion
Notion is same for you and me.
Slack
Slack is same for you and me.
There is no difference.
Zoom is same for you and me because those software are very expensive to to be built.
And so as a result, you have to think about how many customers they can have.
They need terrible scale.
They want to offer you a standard experiences, just like when we buy clothes, we buy Coca Cola, it's always the same can, the standardized experiences, Because customized experience is extremely expensive, before it was only reserved for very few enterprise customer who can pay tens of millions of hundreds of millions dollars a year to have their own custom software.
But now it's like so cheap.
Everybody can has it.
So so I but it unlock a lot of new people.
Vibe coding
Vibe coding is a very specialized software.
They're trying to make, you know, solve a particular problem.
Otherwise, it will be considered too not a common skill.
No VC won't invest, but now you can just do it yourself.
So I do think there's a lot of opportunity just because vibe coding, since like last year, we have so many new apps in the app store, so many new software, even the borrower have their own software, the dentists have their own software.
I think that's a great world to be in.
It's just that we require us to to use a very different lens to think about what we do.
Because we're so used to be a part of the machine.
We're not used to running the machine.
So now we have to see your perspective that we can all be the boss and run the machine.
Speaking of wipe coding that you just mentioned, you know, like I had the feeling that like one or two years ago, this was still kind of laughed at by a lot of developers because they're like, yeah, wipe coding that's for these people who don't know what to do.
But if I listen to you, I feel like, okay, this is now changing as well, know, just because like, there's not going to be that difference anymore.
At some point, we're not going call it wipe coding anymore.
It's just going to be at the same par level as normal coding, you know?
And as you said, maybe it's even better if you're not a coder because then you don't think in these sort of guardrails, which maybe are are putting down your creativity, and so, yeah, it's just interesting to see how things are how fast things are developing as well.
I think there's gonna be tons of jobs for like, least right now, I'm actually looking to hire two.
It's just really hard to find the people that I believe are very agent native, but there is a lot of need for very agentic people.
So if the answer is, do we have more job?
The question is, do we have more job?
The answer is absolutely fucking really yes.
But the question is, if you're a person who's not creative, don't have agency, working in a corporate America, used to getting meetings and office policy, don't want to have any creative ideas, The answer is no.
But I think as human, we are intrinsically pretty creative imaginative.
So I do think there's a lot of opportunity.
We just need to forget about the corporate America bullshit that is got to be Yeah.
Obsolete, you know, in the next
