Also in Bristol, there was a carnival last weekend, a kind of Caribbean carnival, and it was great fun.

There was lots of big sound systems in the street playing lots of very, very loud reggae music, lots of Caribbean food like jerk chicken and peas and rice and beans and things.

Now ish is quite a quite a useful little word.

We use it usually on the end of other words.

例如，当你想描述某物的颜色但又不想太具体时，你可以说：'那是什么颜色？'

For example, if you're describing the color of something, but you don't want to be too specific, you can say, what color is that?

嗯，是一种偏棕的红色或者说偏红的棕色。

Well, it's a kind of kind of brownish red or a reddish brown.

明白了吗？

Okay?

就是-ish这种用法。

So ish.

它的意思是有点像、类似或者诸如此类。

It means kind of or sort of or something like that.

但你也可以将它用在时间上。

But you can also use it with time.

所以如果你不是指正好九点，而是九点左右，你可以说九点左右。

So if you don't mean exactly 09:00, but somewhere around 09:00, you can say 09:00 ish.

09:00 ish.

And in fact, people have have started to use ish as a word.

It's not really a word.

Which means it was it was good ish or I enjoyed it ish.

So it's kind of slang or informal use of of the suffix ish, but quite good fun.

I quite I I personally like using the word ish.

I said to Andy, so how did you feel or when did you realize that he died?
