Speaker 0

大家好。

Hello, everyone.

Speaker 0

我是卢克,欢迎收听卢克的英语播客。

This is Luke, and welcome to Luke's English podcast.

Speaker 0

你好吗?

How are you?

Speaker 0

我有一阵子没跟你们说话了,对吧?

I haven't spoken to you for a while, have I?

Speaker 0

所以希望你们都很好。

So I hope you're well.

Speaker 0

自从我上次录制音频播客以来,已经过去一段时间了。

It's been a little while since I last recorded an audio podcast.

Speaker 0

显然,我发布了《诺丁山》的视频,大家都很喜欢。

Obviously, I had the Notting Hill video, which everyone seems to like quite a lot.

Speaker 0

但我一直非常忙,当然了。

But I've been very busy, of course.

Speaker 0

我是个特别忙的人。

I'm a very busy guy.

Speaker 0

你知道,我和你们所有人一样,生活忙得不可开交。

You know, I've got a crazy busy life just like all of you.

Speaker 0

你知道,我们大家都这么忙,对吧?

You know, we've we're all so busy, aren't we?

Speaker 0

天啊,生活有时候真不容易。

God, life is difficult sometimes.

Speaker 0

不管怎样,我虽然挺忙的,但现在总算有点自己的时间了。

Anyway, I'm kind of busy, but I've got a bit more time to myself now.

Speaker 0

在未来几周里,我会有更多的空闲时间。

Over the next few weeks, I'll have more time.

Speaker 0

所以接下来几周,我会上传更多播客。

So I'm going to upload more podcasts in the next couple of weeks.

Speaker 0

现在,我只是给你们发这个简短的小视频,为了保持你们的兴趣,也让你们知道我还在这里。

For now, I'm just gonna give you this little quick one just to kind of keep you interested and just to let you know that I'm still here.

Speaker 0

我还活着。

I'm still alive.

Speaker 0

我没死。

I'm not dead.

Speaker 0

我没有被绑架,也没被外星人掳走,或者被暗杀,或者发生类似的事情。

I haven't been kidnapped or abducted by aliens or, you know, I haven't been assassinated or or anything like that.

Speaker 0

我还在。

I'm still here.

Speaker 0

我还在制作播客。

I'm still making podcasts.

Speaker 0

我脑子里还有很多想法,这些想法会慢慢从我的大脑里通过嘴巴,通过麦克风,通过互联网释放出来。

I've still got plenty of ideas inside my brain, head, mind, which are slowly gonna come out of my brain through my mouth, into the microphone, through the Internet.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

通过互联网数字化传输,从扬声器进入你的耳朵,再进入你的大脑。

Digitally through the Internet, out of a speaker into your ear, and then into your brain.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

所以这实际上是直接从我的大脑通过扁桃体、互联网和扬声器传到你的大脑的思想。

So it's literally a thought from my brain direct to your brain via some tonsils, the Internet, a speaker.

Speaker 0

嗯。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

不管怎样,这个小播客是关于如何成为一个好的英语学习者的。

Anyway, so this little podcast is about being a good learner of English.

Speaker 0

所以这就是问题。

So that's the question.

Speaker 0

你是一个好的英语学习者吗?

Are you a good learner of English?

Speaker 0

或者,什么是好的英语学习者?

Or what is a good learner of English?

Speaker 0

依我的经验,我见过成千上万的学习者,见过一些好的,也见过一些不好的。

Well, in my experience, I've met thousands of learners, and I've I've seen some good ones and some bad ones.

Speaker 0

你知道,我已经教了八年半了。

You know, I've been teaching for eight and a half years.

Speaker 0

如果你想想,我差不多这八年半以来一直在持续教学。

If you think about it, I've been teaching kind of permanently for eight and a half years.

Speaker 0

所以,你可以想象一下,这段时间里我遇到的英语学习者数量有多么庞大。

So if you can imagine the number of English learners that I've met in that time, it's quite a lot.

Speaker 0

成千上万的人。

Thousands and thousands of people.

Speaker 0

所以,那些优秀的英语学习者在学习上是成功的。

So the good learners of English are successful in their learning.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

但那意味着什么?

But what does that mean?

Speaker 0

好吧,他们学会用英语有效沟通,基本上是这样。

Well, they learn to communicate effectively in English, basically.

Speaker 0

他们学会用这种语言进行交流。

They they learn to communicate in the language.

Speaker 0

这不仅仅是学习单词,或听懂别人说的话,而是真正学会如何使用语言进行交流。

It's not just that they learn words, that they can understand things when they hear them, but they actually learn how to use the language to communicate.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

我遇到的一些学习者是差劲的学习者。

The Some some of the learners I've met are are bad learners.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

这是因为他们没能成为好的沟通者。

And that's because they've failed to become good communicators.

Speaker 0

他们无法用英语进行交流并建立关系。

They don't manage to communicate and build relationships in English.

Speaker 0

对我来说,关键在于态度。

What's key for me, I think, is attitude.

Speaker 0

态度指的是你的思维方式、心态,以及你对待英语学习的方式,还包括你如何看待自己,以及这如何影响你的行为。

Attitude means the way you think, your mindset, the way you approach not only the learning of English, but also the way you think about yourself and how that affects your actions.

Speaker 0

我们如何知道你的态度是什么?

How do we know what your attitude is?

Speaker 0

我认为,态度会通过你的行为表现出来,包括你说的话、所做的决定、与他人相处的方式、对情境的反应以及你的肢体语言。

Well, I think it's revealed by what you do, and this includes the things you say, the decisions you make, the way that you deal with other people, the way that you react to situations, and your body language.

Speaker 0

我不是读心者,但除此之外,我们如何才能了解一个人内心的想法呢?

Now I'm not a mind reader, but how else is it possible to know what is in someone's head?

Speaker 0

我们必须观察他们的所作所为和所说的话。

We have to look at the things that they do and the things that they say.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

这就是我们了解一个人态度的方式。

That's how we know what what someone's attitude is.

Speaker 0

因此,我列出了一系列陈述,我相信优秀的英语学习者会这样说。

So what I've done is I've come up with a list of statements, which I believe a good learner of English would say.

Speaker 0

如果你是这个播客的常听者,我认为你很可能已经是一个相当不错的学习者了。

Now if you're a regular listener to this podcast, I'd say that you're probably quite a good learner already.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

我并不是在刻意奉承你或讨好你。

I'm I'm not just trying to flatter you or trying to charm you.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

但你已经主动采取行动,寻找帮助你学习的资源。

But you've decided to take the initiative to find something to help you learn.

Speaker 0

而且不一定非得是这个播客。

And it doesn't have to be this podcast.

Speaker 0

它可以是任何东西。

It could be anything.

Speaker 0

其他播客、杂志、广播节目、DVD,随便什么。

Other podcasts, magazines, radio shows, DVDs, whatever.

Speaker 0

事实上,你已经做出了一个有意识的积极决定,这表明你具备正确的态度。

The fact is that you've made a conscious positive decision, and that is a sign that you've got the right attitude.

Speaker 0

有些人根本不会在意。

Now some people wouldn't bother.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

有些人根本不会多花功夫去寻找类似的东西来帮助自己学习英语。

Some people just wouldn't bother to do something extra, to find something like this to help them learn English.

Speaker 0

他们不会付出努力。

They wouldn't make the effort.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

但付出努力并保持正确的态度是关键。

But making the effort and having the right attitude is key.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

这正是一个好学习者和一个不好的学习者、一个糟糕的英语学习者之间的区别。

It's it's the difference between being a good learner and and being a a not good learner of English, being a bad learner of English.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

所以,不管怎样,这是我列出的我认为好学习者会说的那些话。

So, anyway, here's that list of statements that I think a good learner would say.

Speaker 0

我相信你会在这些陈述中看到自己的影子。

Now I expect that you will recognize yourself in many of these statements.

Speaker 0

我肯定这些话中的很多都适用于你,它们几乎就像是你内心用英语思考的想法或态度。

I'm sure that many of these statements are true for you, and they're almost like your thoughts or your attitude in your own head in English.

Speaker 0

我猜你每天都会用你的母语这样想。

You probably think these things in your language every day, I expect.

Speaker 0

但它们就在这里。

But here they are.

Speaker 0

如果你是个好学习者,这些就是你的想法,对吧。

Here are your thoughts in English, right, if you're a good learner.

Speaker 0

当你聆听并理解每个词时,你会发现这些表达与你的想法和感受非常相似,只是用英语表达的。

Now as you listen and understand each word, you'll see that these are very similar to your thoughts and feelings it but in English.

Speaker 0

这就是帮助你成为好学习者的态度。

This is your attitude which is helping you to be a good learner.

Speaker 0

明白吗?

Okay?

Speaker 0

为了改善发音,最好暂停播客并重复这些句子。

Now it's probably a good idea for your pronunciation to pause the podcast and repeat these sentences.

Speaker 0

明白吗?

Okay?

Speaker 0

所以,当我念出每句话时,请暂停播客并自己重复。

So as as I say the statement, pause the podcast and repeat it yourself.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

现在,如果你在公共场合或工作时,就在心里默念这些话,这样别人就不会感兴趣,开始听你说话。

Now, if you're in a public place or if you're at work, just repeat these things in your head, right, so that people don't, get interested and start listening to you.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 0

这是第一句话。

So here is statement number one.

Speaker 0

英语不仅仅是我懂的东西,更是我能做的事情。

English is not just something I know, but something I can do.

Speaker 0

如果你只是学单词,或者只是能听懂别人说的话,那是不够的。

It's no good if you just learn words or if you can just understand what people say.

Speaker 0

这还远远不够。

It doesn't stop there.

Speaker 0

英语不仅仅是我所知道的东西。

English is not just something I know.

Speaker 0

它是我可以做到的东西。

It's something I can do.

Speaker 0

第二点。

Number two.

Speaker 0

我喜欢使用我学到的新单词。

I love using new words that I've learned.

Speaker 0

对我来说,新单词就像金币,我会收集起来,以后再使用。

New words to me are like golden coins, which I collect and then use later.

Speaker 0

第三点。

Number three.

Speaker 0

英语是我个性的一部分。

English is part of my personality.

Speaker 0

英语和我之间没有界限。

There is no separation between the English language and me.

Speaker 0

我们共存。

We exist together.

Speaker 0

它不是与我分离的。

It's not separate from me.

Speaker 0

它是我的一部分。

It's part of me.

Speaker 0

当我使用英语时,它也是我的语言。

When I use English, it's my language too.

Speaker 0

第四点。

Number four.

Speaker 0

我可能不是每天都在用英语思考,但我知道英语存在于我的潜意识中,它帮助我理解和有效沟通。

I might not think in English every day, but I know that English exists in my subconscious, and it helps me to understand and to communicate effectively.

Speaker 0

第五点。

Number five.

Speaker 0

因为我能用英语做更多事,所以我感觉自己现在成了更好的人。

I feel like a better person now because I can do more with English.

Speaker 0

第六点。

Number six.

Speaker 0

我知道我不需要一次性学会所有东西。

I know that I don't need to learn everything in one go.

Speaker 0

我每天都在一点一点、一步一个脚印地成为更好的英语说话者。

I'm becoming a good speaker of English every day, bit by bit, step by step.

Speaker 0

第七点。

Number seven.

Speaker 0

英语给了我自由,让我在使用它时成为不同的人。

English gives me the freedom to become a different person when I use it.

Speaker 0

第八点。

Number eight.

Speaker 0

我非常喜欢认真倾听并探究我听到的英语。

I love to really listen and investigate the English that I hear.

Speaker 0

当我用英语学习某些东西时,我感觉自己像一名侦探在解谜。

When I study something in English, I feel like a detective solving a puzzle.

Speaker 0

第九。

Number nine.

Speaker 0

因为这是一种脑力挑战,学习英语是我保持大脑清新和年轻的好方法。

Because it's a mental challenge, learning English is a really good way for me to keep my brain fresh and young.

Speaker 0

第十。

Number 10.

Speaker 0

英语给了我冒险的机会,我知道当我冒险时,我会学得更快。

English gives me an opportunity to take risks, and I know that when I take risks, I learn more quickly.

Speaker 0

第十一。

Number 11.

Speaker 0

英语有时令人沮丧,但我享受这种挑战。

English is frustrating sometimes, but I enjoy the challenge.

Speaker 0

如果生活不是一种挑战,那还有什么意义呢?

And what is life if it isn't a challenge?

Speaker 0

第十二。

Number 12.

Speaker 0

我喜欢提问,因为如果不问,我就学不到东西。

I like to ask questions because if I don't ask, I don't learn.

Speaker 0

第十三。

Number 13.

Speaker 0

我不仅仅需要英语。

I don't just need English.

Speaker 0

我意识到,我也想要学英语。

I've learned that I want English too.

Speaker 0

第十四。

Number 14.

Speaker 0

我们每个人都是独特的个体,都有自己独特的学习英语的方式。

We're all individuals, and we have our own unique ways of learning English.

Speaker 0

我喜欢发现属于自己的学习策略,然后加以运用。

I like discovering my own particular learning strategies and then using them.

Speaker 0

第十五。

Number 15.

Speaker 0

我有时会因为自己的错误感到尴尬,但我把这些错误看作是学习的绝佳机会。

I am a bit embarrassed by my mistakes sometimes, but I see them as a great opportunity to learn.

Speaker 0

16。

16.

Speaker 0

我喜欢和别人一起学英语,因为这让我感觉自己是与我有相同经历的人群中的一员。

I like learning English with others because it makes me feel like I'm part of a group of people who are sharing the same experience as me.

Speaker 0

17。

Number 17.

Speaker 0

我热爱英语语言的多样性、色彩和历史。

I love the variety, color, and history of the English language.

Speaker 0

看到历史上人们用英语做了这么多事情,真是太神奇了。

It's amazing to see how people in history have used it for so many things.

Speaker 0

当我使用英语时,我就成为了这一悠久传统的一部分。

And when I use English, I become part of that long tradition.

Speaker 0

18。

18.

Speaker 0

说英语是一种身体行为。

Speaking English is a physical action.

Speaker 0

我不只是用嘴来说英语。

I don't just use my mouth to do it.

Speaker 0

我用整个身体来表达。

I use my whole body.

Speaker 0

19。

19.

Speaker 0

英语的文化与我的母语不同,因此说英语时以新的方式思考和行动很有趣。

The culture of the English language is different to my first language, so it's fun to think and act in a new way when I speak English.

Speaker 0

20。

20.

Speaker 0

英语让我获得自由。

English liberates me.

Speaker 0

它给了我与所有人交流、与整个世界建立联系的自由。

It gives me the freedom to communicate with everyone and connect with the whole world.

Speaker 0

22。

22.

Speaker 0

我喜欢用英语探索我热爱的事物。

I enjoy finding out about things I love in English.

Speaker 0

我使用互联网来帮助我做到这一点。

I use the Internet to help me to do this.

Speaker 0

我为了娱乐而观看英文YouTube视频和收听英文播客。

I watch YouTube videos and listen to podcasts in English for fun.

Speaker 0

23。

23.

Speaker 0

有时英语让我感到困惑,但如果有时间,我能理解它。

Sometimes English is confusing for me, but I can make sense of it if I have time.

Speaker 0

24。

24.

Speaker 0

旅程本身才是最棒的部分,而不仅仅是目的地。

The journey is the best part, not just the destination.

Speaker 0

这在英语中是如此,在生活中也是如此。

This is true in English, but also in life.

Speaker 0

25。

25.

Speaker 0

实际上,我的英语用得很好,每次使用英语时我都能进行交流。

Actually, I do use English well, and I do communicate in English every time I use it.

Speaker 0

所以,我真的已经开始了说英语,也已经有效地开始用英语交流了。

So, really, I've already started speaking English, and I've already started communicating in English effectively.

Speaker 0

26。

26.

Speaker 0

我是一个聪明而特别的人,因为我收听卢克的英语播客,我知道卢克的英语播客可能是全世界学习英语的最佳方式。

I'm a brilliant and special person because I listen to Luke's English podcast, and I know that Luke's English podcast is probably the best way of learning English in the whole world.

Speaker 0

好吧。

Okay.

Speaker 0

所以这些就是这些陈述。

So those are the statements.

Speaker 0

我意识到这有点俗气。

And I realized that that's kind of quite cheesy.

Speaker 0

这样做有点儿俗气,你知道吗?就是听我说这些关于学英语的俗气人生感悟。

It's a little slightly cheesy thing to do, you know, to sort of listen to me saying these kind of cheesy life learning statements about learning English.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

但我不确定。

But I I don't know.

Speaker 0

我认为,如果你反复重复这些话,相信它们,并且真正把它们当作自己的话和想法来说出来,这会激励你,帮助你树立正确的英语学习态度。

I think I genuinely think that if you if you repeat those statements and believe them and and really kind of speak them as if the as if they are your statements and your thoughts, that that will encourage you and help you to get the right attitude about learning English.

Speaker 0

一旦你有了正确的态度,你就会成为一个更好的学习者。

And once you've got the right attitude, then you will become a better learner.

Speaker 0

你知道吗?

You know?

Speaker 0

我真的认为,学好英语关键在于你对待语言学习的态度和你所做的事情。

I really think it's learning English well is about how you approach the learning of the language and the things that you do.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 0

如果你访问网站 teacherluke.podomatic.com,就可以找到这些陈述的文本。

I if you if you check the websites, teacherluke.podomatic.com, you can find a transcript of those statements.

Speaker 0

所以你可以再读一遍,并练习朗读。

So you can read them again and practice reading them.

Speaker 0

如果这些陈述里有新单词,你可以查一查,去字典里找一下,随便你怎么方便。

And if there are new words in those statements, you can check them out, look them up in a dictionary, whatever you like.

Speaker 0

明白吗?

Okay?

Speaker 0

所以,这个简短的激励性播客就到这里了,网站上很快就会有更多播客。

So that's just the end of this short motivational podcast, and there will be more podcasts on the site very soon.

Speaker 0

那我今天就说到这里了。

So that's it for me now.

Speaker 0

我想我现在就泡杯好茶,然后看个DVD,因为我其实正在度假。

I think I'm just gonna have a nice cup of tea now and and watch a watch a DVD because I'm on holiday, actually.

Speaker 0

所以我现在有更多空闲时间。

That's why I've got a bit more time on my hands.

Speaker 0

我在度假,所以现在只是放松一下,悠闲地休息,稍微歇一歇。

I'm on a holiday, so I'm just relaxing, chilling out, sort of unwinding, just having a bit of a rest at the moment.

Speaker 0

嗯,是的。

And yeah.

Speaker 0

就这样了。

So that's it.

Speaker 0

明白了吗?

Okay?

Speaker 0

谢谢。

Cheers.

Speaker 0

再见。

Bye.

Speaker 0

再见。

Bye.

Speaker 0

再见。

Bye.

Speaker 0

再见。

Bye.

Speaker 0

再见。

Bye.
