讨论让世界持续运转。

Discussion keeps the world turning.

Speaker 1

这是圆桌会议。

This is Roundtable.

Speaker 0

如果

If

Speaker 1

你以为中国新年随着烟花熄灭就结束了,那就错了。

you think that the Chinese New Year ends when the fireworks stop, you would be mistaken.

Speaker 1

真正的高潮是第一轮满月出现时。

The real finale comes with the first full moon.

Speaker 1

灯笼点亮了街道,家人团聚,传统源远流长,但如今科技却闯入了这场盛宴。

Lanterns light the streets, families gather, traditions run deep, but now technology is crashing the party.

Speaker 1

当古老节日遇上现代世界,会发生什么?

What happens when ancient festival meets modern world?

Speaker 1

我们正在北京的演播室为您现场直播。

We're live from our studios in Beijing.

Speaker 1

这是圆桌论坛。

This is Roundtable.

Speaker 1

我是史蒂夫。

I'm Steve.

Speaker 1

你好。

Hello there.

Speaker 1

感谢您今天与我们同在。

Thanks for being with us today.

Speaker 1

在本期节目中,我和费菲与玉山一起。

And for the show, I'm with Fei Fei and Yushan.

Speaker 1

首先,春节在烟花熄灭时结束。

First up, the Chinese New Year ends when the fireworks fade.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

不对。

Nope.

Speaker 1

你错了。

You're wrong.

Speaker 1

这个节日真正结束是在日历上第一个满月升起的时候,那时就是灯节了。

The holiday doesn't truly wrap up until the first full moon rises on the calendar, and that is when it's lantern festival time.

Speaker 1

哦,街道上到处都是美丽的灯笼,笑声充满空气,各种节日活动层出不穷。

Oh, the streets are flooded with the beautiful lanterns, laughter fills the air, and there are festivals galore.

Speaker 1

这是一个基于团聚与光明的数百年传统,但现在正迎来一些新的升级。

It is a centuries old tradition built on togetherness and light, but it's getting a bit of a glow up.

Speaker 1

今年,传统上用纸和其他材料制作的灯笼,现在开始融入了一些高科技元素。

This year, the lanterns traditionally done with paper and other products are now seeing some high-tech advancements.

Speaker 1

我们将讨论所有这些内容。

We're gonna discuss all of that.

Speaker 1

现在是灯节时间。

It is lantern festival time.

Speaker 1

玉珊和Feife,下午好。

Yushan and Feife, good afternoon to you both.

Speaker 1

我昨天看了些视频。

I was watching videos yesterday.

Speaker 1

我以前从没参加过真正的节日庆典。

I've never been to a festival before, like a full on festival festival.

Speaker 1

到处都装饰着灯笼。

Everywhere is decorated with lanterns.

Speaker 1

但这些节日看起来确实非常值得去参观。

But these festivals look like they are absolutely worth visiting.

Speaker 1

当然了。

That is for sure.

Speaker 1

我们要讨论几个不同的例子,但也许我们可以先从一些背景说起。

We're gonna talk about a couple of different examples, but maybe we can start with a little bit of background.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

当然。

Sure.

Speaker 0

今天是元宵节。

Today is the Lantern Festival.

Speaker 0

它也被称为元宵节,发生在农历正月十五,也是这一年中的第一个满月。

It's also known as or the It falls on the fifteenth day of the first month on the Chinese calendar, and also this day is the first full moon of the year.

Speaker 0

所以在古代汉语中,夜晚被称为‘宵’,也可以表示某事的开始。

So in ancient Chinese, night was called can also mean the beginning of something.

Speaker 0

因此,它的名字是‘元宵’,即第一个月圆之夜。

Hence, the name as in or the first moon night.

Speaker 0

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

这是一个全国性的庆祝活动,标志着春节假期的结束。

So that's a nationwide celebration that's also marking the time that we wrap up the Chinese New Year season, the holiday season.

Speaker 0

我不知道我对这个感觉如何。

I don't know how I feel about that.

Speaker 0

感觉过去的春节假期就像一场梦。

It feels like the past New Year season has been like a dream.

Speaker 0

确实如此。

That's so true.

Speaker 0

感觉真的对极了。

That feels so true.

Speaker 0

但,好,我们开始了。

But, yeah, here we go.

Speaker 0

我们正式结束了。

We're wrapping it up, officially.

Speaker 1

现在感觉好遥远啊。

Feels so far away now.

Speaker 1

这可以追溯到,我想,汉朝吧。

This goes back to, I mean, the Han dynasty, I guess.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 2

两千多年前。

More than two thousand years ago.

Speaker 2

但这些传统,我认为在过去两千多年里一直保持了很高的相似性。

But the traditions, I would say, somewhat stayed very similar over the past two thousand years.

Speaker 2

主要是欣赏很多灯笼,去庙会,吃汤圆等等。

It's basically admiring a lot of lanterns, going to fairs, eating sticky rice balls and so on and so forth.

Speaker 2

而且今年,他们还挂了很多灯笼,人们会在公园、家里、街道和购物中心聚集在这些灯笼周围。

But and also, for example, this year, they are also handing up a lot of lanterns that people gather around in parks and also in homes, in streets, in shopping malls.

Speaker 2

有时候,这些灯笼上还会写上谜语。

And sometimes, there are riddles made into that lanterns.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

人们尝试猜这些谜语,也是元宵节期间我们进行的活动之一。

And people, you know, trying to crash those riddles is also one part of the activities that we do during the lantern festival.

Speaker 2

节日。

Festival.

Speaker 1

所以我去年听说过这个。

So I heard about this last year.

Speaker 1

所以你可能会在公园里看到这种情况,那里会有一位谜语大师,通常是一位年长的男士。

So you might find this in a park, for example, and there will be a riddle master there, and the riddle master is typically an older man.

Speaker 1

然后,去年我了解到附近的情况。

And then near this is what I learned last year.

Speaker 1

随时纠正我。

Correct me at any time.

Speaker 1

所以谜语大师在公园里,比如,靠近谜语大师的地方会有一些灯笼,灯笼上挂着一些纸条,这些纸条上就是谜语。

So the riddle master is in the park, for example, and near the riddle master will be some lanterns, and there will be some papers hanging off the lantern, and that is is the riddle.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yep.

Speaker 0

对。

Yep.

Speaker 1

然后你拿着那张纸去找谜语大师。

And then you take that paper and you go to the riddle master.

Speaker 1

如果你能答对答案

And if you can get the answer correct

Speaker 2

你会得到一个小奖品。

You get a small prize.

Speaker 1

一辆新的电动车,或者

New electric vehicle or

Speaker 0

类似的东西。

something like that.

Speaker 0

天哪。

Oh my goodness.

Speaker 1

我只是在开玩笑。

I'm just kidding.

Speaker 2

那是真的,我说的是真的。

That's a true I'm true.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

对。

Right.

Speaker 1

一个小小的奖品。

A little tiny prize.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

另外,去年的这个时候,我了解到元宵节与中国另一个情人节的概念密切相关,你知道吗?

Also, this time last year, I learned about how the Lantern Festival is closely related to another idea of the Chinese Valentine's Day, you know?

Speaker 0

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

因为传统上,人们认为七月初七通常是传统的中国情人节,这与相关的神话传说有关。

Because traditionally, people believe that the or the double seventh day usually falls on the July to be the traditional Chinese Valentine's Day given the the the the mythology that goes with it.

Speaker 0

但与七夕节不同,七夕节中女性是主要参与者,比如祈求灵巧的手工技艺。

But unlike Qixi where women are the main participants in activities such as, you know, praying for very clever handicraft skills.

Speaker 0

而元宵节,既然我们谈到这个,是未婚的年轻男女外出赏灯、猜灯谜、互相见面、聊天、娱乐并建立浪漫联系的时候。

The Lantern Festival, now that we're talking about it, is when unmarried young men and women go out to admire lanterns, to do what you just mentioned, Steve, guess out the riddles and meet with each other and chat with each other and have fun and form romantic connections together.

Speaker 1

所以这是中国非正式的情人节吗?

So is this the unofficial Valentine's Day in China

Speaker 0

然后呢?

and then?

Speaker 0

如果不是正式的。

If not the official.

Speaker 1

哦,真的吗?

Oh, really?

Speaker 0

根据传统,似乎是这样。

According to traditions, apparently.

Speaker 1

哦,原来是这样。

Oh, what what yeah.

Speaker 1

我的意思是,这很合理。

I mean, it makes sense.

Speaker 1

我的意思是,这些灯笼美极了,氛围看起来非常浪漫。

I mean, these lanterns are absolutely gorgeous and the atmosphere looks very romantic.

Speaker 2

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 2

而且猜完灯谜之后

So And also after guessing the riddles

Speaker 0

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 2

你们开始互动,逐渐建立联系,事情就顺其自然地发展了。

That you start to build on, you start start to bond and one thing led to another.

Speaker 1

如果猜错了灯谜会怎样?

What happens if you get the riddle wrong?

Speaker 2

嗯,其实也没关系,对吧?

Well, it doesn't really matter, isn't it?

Speaker 1

哦,明白了。

Oh, okay.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

只是为了庆祝和娱乐。

Just to celebrate and have fun.

Speaker 1

你看,如果我是个单身汉,我会早早去公园,贿赂谜题主持人,让他告诉我答案,好让我在约会时显得很厉害。

See, so if I'm a single guy, I'm going to the park early and I'm bribing the riddle master to to give me the answer so I can look good on that date.

Speaker 0

我肯定有人会这么做。

I'm sure people do that.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

大概吧。

Probably.

Speaker 1

所以,在元宵节期间,天上也会发生一些特别的事情。

So is a rare so something's happening in the sky as well during the Lantern Festival.

Speaker 1

所以今天将发生一次罕见的月全食。

So this is going to be today a rare total lunar eclipse.

Speaker 1

这正好和元宵节重合。

It's coinciding with the Lantern Festival.

Speaker 1

月亮将消失大约一小时,然后以深红色的血月形态重现,这是今年唯一的一次月全食。

So the moon is going to disappear for about an hour before reappearing as a deep red blood moon, and this will be the only total lunar eclipse of the year.

Speaker 1

我对此很好奇。

I was I was curious about this.

Speaker 1

我不知道自己是否见过血月,但根据几家媒体的说法,这将是直到2028年除夕前最后一次血月。

I don't know if I've seen a blood moon before, but this this is going to be apparently the last blood moon until New Year's Eve twenty twenty eight, at least according to a couple of different media outlets.

Speaker 1

如果你感兴趣,网上有一些直播节目。

And there are some various livestreams on the Internet if you're curious.

Speaker 1

我认为它们今天大约从下午5点30分开始。

I think they're starting at around 05:30PM today.

Speaker 1

事实上,如果你想观看这壮观的月亮的话。

As a matter of fact, if you wanna if you wanna check out this very impressive moon.

Speaker 1

这还挺酷的。

So that's kinda cool.

Speaker 1

我认为这为这一天增添了浪漫的氛围。

That adds to the romantic aspect of the day, I think.

Speaker 2

是的

Yeah.

Speaker 2

而且这也非常罕见,因为下一次我们有机会看到另一次血月将是2072年,嗯。

And also, it's also very rare because the next time that we're get we get the the chance to actually see another blood moon would be 2072 Mhmm.

Speaker 2

五十年后。

Fifty years from now.

Speaker 0

把这种天文现象和元宵节结合起来,真棒。

That is to collab that astrological view with Lantern Festival.

Speaker 1

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 1

希望到那时我们还能继续进行圆桌讨论。

Hopefully, we'll still be doing round table at that time.

Speaker 1

哦。

Oh.

Speaker 1

好的。

Alright.

Speaker 1

所以今天充满了浪漫的历史氛围。

So we've got the romantic historical vibes happening on the day.

Speaker 1

我们还有天文现象。

We've got the astronomical phenomenon too.

Speaker 1

但这个节日,元宵节,通常是怎么庆祝的?今年又是怎么庆祝的呢?

But how is the holiday, the Lantern Festival, typically celebrated and and maybe more how it's celebrated this year.

Speaker 1

今年会有点不一样。

It's gonna be a little bit different this time around.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

我的意思是,这是元宵节,我们得有灯会。

I mean, it's the Lantern Festival, so we gotta have Lantern Fair.

Speaker 0

这一直是这个节日最具代表性的庆祝活动之一。

That's always one of the most representative celebrations during this festival.

Speaker 1

这些活动在全国各地都会举行。

And these and these things happen all across the country.

Speaker 0

遍布全国。

All across the country.

Speaker 0

例如,如果你看看中国西南部四川省的自贡,这个地方被称为灯城,也是中国最具代表性的灯会之一的发源地。

For example, if you look at places like Zigong, which is in Southwest China Sichuan Province, then that place is known as the city of lanterns and also the home to one of the most representative lantern fairs in China.

Speaker 0

想象一下,成百上千的巨大灯笼点亮了夜晚。

So picture this, hundreds of giant lanterns lighting up the night.

Speaker 0

其中一些高达数层楼,横跨广阔的主题区域。

Some of them towering several stories high and stretching across huge theme zones.

Speaker 0

你转过一个拐角,突然就置身于一个色彩斑斓、灯火辉煌的中国古代传说中;再往前走几步,就会看到巨大的恐龙灯笼,因为自贡也以其本地发现的化石遗产而闻名。

You turn one corner and suddenly you're in the middle of an ancient Chinese legend glowing in color and light and you if you walk a little bit further and then there is the massive dinosaur lantern because Zigong is also known for its fossil heritage discovered locally.

Speaker 0

这是一幅如此绚丽的画面,我记得看过那个灯会的视频。

So that's such a colorful picture that I remember seeing a video from that lantern fair.

Speaker 0

此外,还有人工智能驱动的互动展示,孩子们可以真正地与数字生物对话——我想,就是和灯笼对话。

And then there are also AI powered interactive displays where kids, they can literally talk to digital creatures as in talk to the lanterns, I would imagine.

Speaker 0

家庭也可以前往那里,沉浸在这个几乎如同梦境般的光影世界中,仿佛踏入了一部活生生的奇幻电影。

And families, they can also travel there and get into the immersive light world that almost feel like dream and more like stepping into an active live action fantasy film.

Speaker 0

我无法形容,因为这太视觉化了。

I can't describe it because it's too visual.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

我希望我描述的内容已经足够了。

I hope what I describe is sufficient.

Speaker 1

我很高兴你提到它如此视觉化,因为昨天我看了一个视频。

I I I'm glad you said that, how visual it is because before I watched I watched a video yesterday.

Speaker 1

有个人去自贡参加了灯会,我想他们是来自英国的,被彻底震撼了。

Somebody was in Zigong for the festival, and they it was I think they were from The UK, and they were completely blown away by this.

Speaker 1

即使我没有亲临现场,我也感受到了他们的那种心情。

And I felt what they were feeling even though I wasn't there.

Speaker 1

当你想到或听到‘灯节’,而你又不熟悉中国文化的这一面时,你可能会想,哦,好吧。

When you think or when you hear Lantern Festival and you're not familiar with this aspect of Chinese culture, you might think, oh, okay.

Speaker 1

你走在街上,看到一些挂着的灯之类的。

You walk down a street and there's like some lamps hanging or something.

Speaker 1

不。

No.

Speaker 1

不。

No.

Speaker 1

不。

No.

Speaker 1

不。

No.

Speaker 1

不。

No.

Speaker 1

完全不是这样。

It's not that at all.

Speaker 1

我给你举个例子。

I'll I'll give you an example.

Speaker 1

有一只火焰凤凰。

There's a fiery phoenix.

Speaker 1

这是来自《人民日报》的。

This is from the People's Daily.

Speaker 1

有一盏 fiery 凤凰灯笼。

There's a fiery phoenix lantern.

Speaker 1

我想这现在就在自贡。

I think this is in Zigong right now.

Speaker 1

它是用一万五千个红辣椒拼接而成的。

It's pieced together from 15,000 red chili peppers.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

还有四万六个回收的药瓶,它非常巨大,色彩极其绚丽,当你参加这个节日时,仿佛置身于梦境之中,你可能会说这些节日全都如此。

And 46,000 recycled medicine bottles, And it's huge, and it's so extremely colorful, and it looks like you're walking in the middle of a dream when you're at this this particular festival, and you might argue all of these festivals.

Speaker 1

它们真的非常震撼。

They're just they're just stunning.

Speaker 1

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 1

我知道这可能还是无法完全展现它的魅力,但我只是希望人们知道,它比你想象的要震撼得多得多。

And I know that probably doesn't do it justice either, but I just want people to know it's way, way, way more impressive than you might realize.

Speaker 1

我还想提一下这个自贡节庆的另一件有趣的事。

There's another cool thing I wanted to mention from this Zugong festival.

Speaker 1

他们为孩子们举办了一场国际比赛。

So they have an international competition for kids.

Speaker 1

今年展出的一件作品叫做‘音乐机器人’。

And there's one that's on display this year, and it's called Music Robot.

Speaker 1

如果你不去参加这个节庆,也许可以在线找找它的图片或视频。

If you're not gonna check out the festival, maybe you can just find an image of it online or a video.

Speaker 1

这个作品是基于杰登的一幅画作制作的。

So that's based on a drawing by Jaden.

Speaker 1

杰登是一个来自英国的八岁男孩,这件作品是自贡一场特别展览的一部分,在这场展览中,工匠们将来自40个不同国家的6000多幅儿童画作变为现实。

Jaden is an eight year old boy from The UK, and it's part of a special exhibition in Zugong where artisans bring to life or brought to life more than 6,000 children's drawings from 40 different countries.

Speaker 1

哇。

Wow.

Speaker 1

然后我认为他们会挑选其中一些作品——我不确定是不是获奖作品,但他们会选几幅做成全尺寸的巨大灯笼。

So and and then I think they select a few of the I don't know if they're winners or not, but they select a few of them and they make them into full sized huge lanterns.

Speaker 1

所以我之前说,就像你在梦中漫步一样。

So I said it's like you're walking in a dream before.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

但在这个特别展览中,就像是走进了孩子的梦境。

But for that special exhibition, it's like walking into a child's dream.

Speaker 1

这真的非常酷,也让这个活动真正成为了一场国际盛会。

It's really really cool and this makes this really truly an international event.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

确实是这样。

It was yeah.

Speaker 2

想到你的画作变成三维立体,并在夜晚亮起的样子。

Thinking about your drawing become three d and lighting up in the night.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

也是由专业人士制作的。

By made by professionals too.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

因为这个城市,自贡,我一直很好奇。

Because this city, Zugong, I I was curious about it.

Speaker 1

那里据说有二百四十万人居住,大约十万人从事灯笼产业。

There's apparently 2,400,000 people that live there and about a 100,000 people are employed in the lantern sector.

Speaker 1

所以那里灯笼产业规模很大,很多自贡制作的灯笼还销往国际各地。

So it's it's big business down there, and a lot of the lanterns made from that city travel to international locations too.

Speaker 2

这就是为什么它被称为灯笼之城,是的。

That's why it's called the city of lanterns Yeah.

Speaker 1

在中国。

In China.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

没错。

Exactly.

Speaker 1

那么,今年在规模和风格上尤其引人注目的是什么?

So what's especially striking this year in in terms of the scale and the fashion?

Speaker 0

我很高兴你提到灯笼制作者,因为今年的主题完全是传统与当代中国年轻文化相结合——传统灯笼制作当然被认定为中国非物质文化遗产的一部分,在中国各地依然充满活力。

I mean, I'm really glad you mentioned the the the lantern makers because this year is all about a a combination of tradition and also modern culture from today's young Chinese because traditional lantern making, which is, of course, recognized as part of China's intangible cultural heritage, is very much alive everywhere in China.

Speaker 0

你会看到工匠们手工弯曲竹条制成骨架,再用丝绸覆盖,并以传统方式绘制精美的图案。

You'll see artisans blending or rather bending bamboo frames by hand and stretching silk over them to make the lantern and also paint beautiful patterns that in a traditional way.

Speaker 0

和几代人以来的做法完全一样。

Same way as how it's been done for generations.

Speaker 0

但也有另一些人制作的灯笼融合了投影映射、运动传感器和动态照明系统,这正是特别有趣的地方。

But there's also and this is where it gets very interesting because there are also those who make lanterns layered with projection mapping, motion sensors, and dynamic lighting system.

Speaker 0

所以这就像高科技与传统中国灯笼的结合。

So that's like high-tech slash traditional Chinese lantern.

Speaker 1

对。

Yep.

Speaker 0

乍一看它很传统,但突然间它会动、会闪烁,我猜有些甚至还会说话。

That looked traditional at at first glance, but suddenly it moves, it shimmers, and I guess some of them talks too.

Speaker 1

它们会眨眼睛。

They they blink their eyes.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

如果你打算与它们互动,它们还会点头。

It nods if you sort of decide to interact with them.

Speaker 2

这让我想起小时候去参加灯会的情景。

It reminds me of when I was a child going to a lantern festival.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

他们把灯笼做得非常大,但举个例子,今年是马年,就只是有一匹马静静地站在那里。

They're making into a very big size of these lanterns, but it's just for example, in the year of the horse this year, it's just a horse standing there still.

Speaker 2

但现在,这匹马可能能向你点头、眨眼,还能做其他动作。

But now maybe the horse can nod to you, can blink, can do other things.

Speaker 1

移动它的腿。

Move its legs.

Speaker 2

有点像是在回应你。

Sort of like responding to you.

Speaker 2

我觉得另一个非常有趣的地方是,如今的灯会与当地建筑融为一体。

And another thing I think is very also very interesting is how now, Festival, lantern fairs are blended with their local architecture.

Speaker 2

例如,在大同或西安这样的城市,它们以古老的建筑闻名。

For example, in the city of Dathong or Xi'an, they're known for their ancient architectures.

Speaker 2

如果你去过大同,就会知道那里有非常厚实的古城墙,人们可以在上面行走、骑自行车,甚至开车。

And if you've been to Dathong, for example, you know they have these ancient walls that are very, very thick that people are able to walk and even cycle and even have a car running on top of it.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以它就在西安的市中心,差不多就是那样。

So it's in the downtown area of Xi'an and it kind of like yeah.

Speaker 1

它有四面巨大的城墙。

It's four giant walls.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

而且它就在市中心,规模非常大。

And it's right downtown and it's huge.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

游客和本地人很可能都会在那里散步,进行长时间的漫步。

People tourists and probably locals too will will use that as a walk, go for a long walk.

Speaker 1

很酷的是,你身处这么高的位置。

And it's cool because you're so elevated.

Speaker 1

你可以俯瞰整个城市。

You can look down on the city.

Speaker 1

挺酷的。

It's kinda cool.

Speaker 2

现在他们在那些城墙顶部安装了很多灯笼。

And now they installed a lot of lanterns on top of those walls.

Speaker 2

所以当我去大同的时候,我之前看到过一种类似女性形象的灯笼站在城墙上。

So you can see, when I was in Dachong, I saw this before like some sort of a lady figure lantern standing on the wall.

Speaker 2

如果你站在城墙下面,看起来那个女性仿佛在注视着你并向你打招呼。

It looks like if you are standing beneath the wall, it looks like the lady is looking at you and greeting you.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

因为那只手

Because the hand

Speaker 0

太疯狂了。

is crazy.

Speaker 0

完美。

Perfect.

Speaker 0

但那位女士是穿着传统服饰的吗?

But is the lady was the lady in a traditional Yeah.

Speaker 0

也是。

As well.

Speaker 0

你知道吗,今年在中国北方的山西省大同市也举办了类似活动。

Know, this year, also in Datong City in Shanxi Province in North Northern China.

Speaker 0

organizers 在城市的历史城墙旁布置了46个巨大的灯笼装置,展示的是2025年热门动画《无人》中的角色。

So the it was along the city's historic walls where the organizers set up 46 massive lantern displays featuring characters from the 2025 hit animation Nobody.

Speaker 0

嗯,在中文里,它叫哦。

Well, I think in Chinese, it's called Oh.

Speaker 0

这部非常非常受欢迎的动画。

The very Very cart animation.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

小精灵之类的,是的。

Little little spirits or yeah.

Speaker 0

中国神话中的精灵被制作成了灯笼。

Spirits in Chinese mythology is being adapted into lanterns.

Speaker 0

还有一系列以可爱的毛绒玩具IP‘家庭’为主题的作品。

And then there's another series featuring the playful plushies plushie I IP called family.

Speaker 0

这是一个以武汉方言为灵感的武汉本土毛绒玩具IP。

So that's a Wuhan based Wuhan dialect inspired plush toy IP.

Speaker 0

所以现在,我们看到传统与当代文化形成了鲜明的融合。

So you see now, it's we are seeing a striking mix of tradition with contemporary culture.

Speaker 0

不再只是传统的中国仕女向你招手,各种中国动画角色和新兴的年轻IP也纷纷登场。

Instead of just having traditional Chinese ladies waving at you, we see all different kind of Chinese animation figures and and young IPs showing up too.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我昨天又看了很多视频,我觉得英国游客在其中一个视频里如此震撼,正是因为西方文化中我所知道的几乎没有类似的东西。

I I again, I was watching a bunch of videos yesterday because and I think this is the reason why The UK visitors in in one that I watched were just so blown away is because we don't really have anything like this in Western culture that I know of.

Speaker 1

我的意思是,我知道世界各地其他地方也庆祝中国元宵节,我看过加拿大卡尔加里的一个,但我本该反过来看的,因为我先看了自贡的,我觉得那可能是世界上最好的。

I mean, I know that they celebrate the Chinese Lantern Festival in other countries around the world, and I watched one from Calgary in in Canada, but I should have watched it the other way around because I watched the one from Zigong first, which is I think it might be the best in the world.

Speaker 1

我不确定。

I'm I'm not sure.

Speaker 2

也许可以说吧。

Arguably, maybe.

Speaker 1

确实如此。

Arguably.

Speaker 1

我的意思是,它是全国的灯都。

I mean, it's the lantern capital of the country.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

然后我看了卡尔加里的那个,而我是加拿大人。

And then I watched the Calgary one, and I'm Canadian.

Speaker 1

我看卡尔加里的那个时心想,这也不怎么样。

I'm watching the Calgary one like, well, this isn't very good.

Speaker 2

只是普通的扁豆。

Just regular lentils.

Speaker 1

我看了几段视频后,现在俨然成了灯笼鉴赏家。

I'm now a lantern snob apparently after watching just a couple of videos.

Speaker 1

但当然,我不知道过去是什么样子,但现在非常现代化,设计也超级高科技。

But, yeah, it's it's now I of course, I don't know how it used to be, but it is very modern these days, and their designs are super high-tech.

Speaker 1

他们使用的字符,都是能让人感到兴奋的图案。

And the characters that they used, I mean, they're just characters that are gonna make everybody feel excited too.

Speaker 1

这让孩子们的参与感更强。

It makes it more interactive for the kids.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

而且说到互动,你也可以自己制作灯笼。

And also speaking of about interaction, you can also make your own lanterns.

Speaker 2

例如,在许多博物馆或灯会现场举办的工作坊中,许多城市都为家庭提供了动手参与的机会。

For example, in a lot of workshops launched in museums or at the fair itself, in a lot of cities, There are workshops for especially families to get their hands on.

Speaker 2

他们提供半成品灯笼,让人们可以自己组装、装饰并点亮灯笼。

They have this semi finished lanterns so that they can assemble, decorate, and light lanterns themselves.

Speaker 2

所以你不必从绑竹条开始。

So you don't have to be you know, you don't have to start from banding bamboo sticks.

Speaker 1

或者金属框架。

Or the metal

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

他们也经常使用金属框架。

Which they often use too.

Speaker 2

你只需要一片一片地组装,然后点亮灯笼。

You just sort of assemble them pieces by pieces and then light up the lanterns.

Speaker 2

非常简单。

Very easy.

Speaker 2

孩子们非常开心,因为他们可以自己亲手制作。

And children are very happy because they they get to make them by themselves.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

人工智能和机器人现在也来到了庙会。

AI and robots have brought themselves to temple fairs now as well.

Speaker 1

我的意思是,如果你想谈谈从传统到现代的转变。

I mean, you wanna talk about transforming from the traditional to the modern.

Speaker 1

当你看到一个融合了人工智能和机器人的庙会时,那些东西看起来是什么样子?

What what do those look like when you see a temple fair that incorporates AI and robots?

Speaker 0

当然。

Absolutely.

Speaker 0

我现在转向你,顺,聊聊科技方面的事。

I'm turning to you, Shun, and I'm talking about tech stuff.

Speaker 0

例如,在北京北部中关村地区的国际机器人产业园举办了一场科技庙会。

For example, there is a tech temple fair held in the International Robot Industry Park in Northern Beijing's Zhongguan Sun area.

Speaker 0

这场庙会展示了30多个智能机器人和互动式人工智能体验,比如兔子老爷和财神这样的迎宾机器人。

So that one features over 30 intelligent robots and interactive AI experiences, such as greeting robots like rabbit lord and god of wealth.

Speaker 0

我明白财神。

I understand god of wealth.

Speaker 0

它们无处不在。

They are everywhere.

Speaker 0

但那只兔子神唱《采茶歌》呢?

But what about rabbit lord singing Picking God Praty?

Speaker 0

哦。

Oh.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

就像传统的北京泥人。

Like the Beijing the traditional Beijing character figurine.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

兔子形状的。

In the shape of a rabbit.

Speaker 2

嗯,一个长着兔子毛的人。

Well, a human with Rabbit hair.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

兔子头。

Rabbit head.

Speaker 2

年份。

Years.

Speaker 2

还有耳朵。

And ears.

Speaker 2

所以它被称为兔子老爷。

So it's called or rabbit lord.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

他们正在唱京剧。

And they're singing Peking Opera.

Speaker 0

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

还有体育竞赛、儿童友好的机器人,还有宠物展示。

And doing sports competitions competitions and child friendly robotic, yeah, pets showing around.

Speaker 0

然后还有大型科技展览,让参观者看到先进的科技展示,比如象征人类与人工智能对话的巨大灯笼。

Then there is the large scale tech exhibition that allows visitors to see advanced tech displays like giant lantern symbolizing dialogue between human and AI.

Speaker 0

还有无人驾驶船只、飞行汽车和模仿人类动作的仿生机械手。

And then there's the unmanned boats, flying cars, and a bionic robotic hand that mimics human movements.

Speaker 1

挺酷的。

Pretty cool.

Speaker 0

这只是科技如何在我们身边庆祝的一个有趣展示。

Just interesting demonstration of how tech is celebrating among us.

Speaker 1

春节庆祝活动仍在继续。

The spring festival celebrations are ongoing.

Speaker 1

它们不仅限于家庭内部。

They are not limited to homes.

Speaker 1

它们不仅限于有组织的集市。

They are not limited to organized fairs.

Speaker 1

它们还延伸到了博物馆,已经成为充满活力的文化中心的一部分,在这里传统与创意交汇,而这一切就发生在北京。

They also extend all the way to museums, and they've become kind of a a part of the the vibrant cultural hubs where the tradition can meet the creativity, and it's happening here in Beijing.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

对于像北京大运河博物馆这样的博物馆,我认为它位于城市东部的通州区。

For museums like the Grand Canal Museum in Beijing, I think it's in the district of Tongzhou in the eastern part of the city.

Speaker 2

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 2

它们举办了众多特别的活动。

They host many special workouts.

Speaker 2

例如,游客可以制作宫灯和纸花。

For example, visitors can craft palace lanterns and paper flowers.

Speaker 2

此外,还有其他博物馆提供猜灯谜游戏、AI驱动的戏曲变脸体验,或者其他的动手新年年画制作,总之有很多互动体验,努力将传统转化为更有趣的节日乐趣。

Well, there are also other museums that can offer riddle guessing games or AI powered opera face changing experiences or other hands on New Year print color, you know, just a lot of experience wise, you know, trying to turning heritage into a more interactive holiday fun.

Speaker 2

说到山西省的平遥古城,那里有一家科技艺术博物馆,通过沉浸式技术重新诠释了节日灯饰。

And when it comes to Shanxi province, in a town ancient town called Pingyao, they have this tech art museum that reimagines festive light displays through immersive technology.

Speaker 2

游客可以触摸古老的砖墙,触发流动的光影与花瓣投影,体验这座古城四季更迭的景象,只需一触,便能感受四季流转。

So visitors can touch ancient brick walls to trigger flowing projections of light and petals and experiencing the changing of seasons of the old city, and how you can sort of seeing the four seasons within one touch.

Speaker 0

真美。

Lovely.

Speaker 0

我真的很惊讶,虽然这听起来好像偏离了元宵节的主题,但让我意外的是,如今博物馆正在不断自我提升,不再只是展览场所,而是成为让游客深度沉浸、体验当地或特定主题文化的场所。

I really this might sound like I'm segregating away from Lantern Festival, but I'm really out by like, surprised also by how museums are advancing their themselves nowadays in order for it to become a place not just to exhibit, but also to experience, but also for the its visitors to really get immersive with what they're trying to promote either locally or based on certain themes.

Speaker 0

过去两周,我和我男朋友去了好几家博物馆。

So back in the past two weeks, me and my boyfriend, we went to multiple museums.

Speaker 0

但体验最好的是北京的首都博物馆,因为它提供免费预约。

But the best experience wise is the Capital Museum here in Beijing because it offered free booking.

Speaker 0

你可以直接到达,通过安检后就能进入。

You can just land there and enter after security check, of course.

Speaker 0

此外,还有一场独一无二的展览,展示了北京、河北和天津地区庙会的风貌。

And then there's one of a kind kind of exhibition that features temple fair in Beijing, in Hebei, and in the municipality of Tianjin.

Speaker 0

这是我以前从未见过的新东西。

That's something new I've even never have seen before.

Speaker 0

除了展示一百年前或两百年前北京庙会的常规设备外,他们还收录了几十年前各地庙会的录音,展现人们当时喊叫和叫卖的声音。

They apart from the usual temple fair equipments showcasing how temple fairs were like one hundred, two hundred years ago here in Beijing, they also record from local temple fair temple fairs perhaps from decades ago to showcase just what people are yelling, what are they selling.

Speaker 0

你可以随时进入,聆听跨越时空的庆典氛围。

You can just pull in and listen to the celebration vibe from across time.

Speaker 1

哦,这太酷了。

Oh, that's cool.

Speaker 0

这就像博物馆里藏了一个时间胶囊。

That's like a time capsule inside the museum.

Speaker 0

这些博物馆做得真的很棒。

So really great jobs for these museums.

Speaker 1

走出博物馆后,还能看到无人机表演,因为现在无人机在世界许多地方都已普及,中国也不例外,尤其是在新年期间,烟花表演随处可见。

And then walk outside and catch a drone show because drones are now you know, think in many parts of the world, and it's true here in China too, the the fireworks performances are a aplenty perhaps during the the New Year's time.

Speaker 1

但如今,无人机在许多城市正逐渐取代烟花,这些无人机表演同样令人印象深刻。

But drones are now oftentimes replacing fireworks in a lot of different cities, and these are just as impressive, the drone shows.

展开剩余字幕(还有 101 条)
Speaker 1

嗯,在我看来,这更令人印象深刻。

Well, if not, in my opinion, more more impressive.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

而且,它们几乎无处不在,尤其是在春节、元宵节这样的节日季节。

And, also, they are basically everywhere, especially during a holiday season like the Chinese New Year, like the Lantern Festival.

Speaker 2

此外,无人机表演也可以融入企业活动甚至私人庆典中,因为它们在夜空中呈现的视觉效果非常震撼——比如在山西省太原市,成千上万架无人机同时升空,在夜空中拼出山西文化的标志性图案,吸引大量游客。

And also, it's it can be part of the corporate events and even private celebrations because the visual that it brought to people upon the sky, for example, in Taiyuan, is also in the province of Shanxi, the thousands of drones rise simultaneously to create iconic Shanxi cultural symbols in the night sky and, you know, attract a lot of visitors.

Speaker 2

当我们谈论无人机表演时,我忍不住想到重庆这座城市。

And also when we are talking about drone performances, I can't stop thinking about the city of Chongqing.

Speaker 1

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 2

因为那里有世界级规模的无人机表演。

Because it has world record level scale of drone shows.

Speaker 2

我记得一部纪录片提到,他们曾用五千架无人机在夜空中呈现表演,尤其是在春节期间,每天晚上都上演一场,哇哦。

I think in a documentary, talked about how they incorporated five thousands of drones to put on a display in the night sky and how it I think during the the the Chinese New Year holiday, put up on a show every day, every night Oh, wow.

Speaker 2

离开重庆十五分钟。

To leave Chongqing for fifteen minutes.

Speaker 1

那是我昨天看的另一个视频。

And that was the other video that I watched yesterday.

Speaker 1

我对这个节日和无人机表演做了一次全面深入的了解。

I did a whole deep dive on this festival and on the drone shows.

Speaker 1

我以前不知道这些。

I didn't know this before.

Speaker 1

我以前看过无人机表演。

I've seen drones before, drone shows before.

Speaker 1

我觉得那些规模比较小,我从来没想过这些无人机是从哪里来的,或者它们的电池续航如何之类的。

I think on a smaller scale, and I never kind of put any thought into, you know, where are these drones coming from or how are the how how is their battery life or things like that.

Speaker 1

我看的那段视频来自重庆,天哪。

The video that I watched was from Chongqing, and it was the oh gosh.

Speaker 1

他的头衔是什么?

What was his title?

Speaker 1

他的头衔大概是无人机飞行路径协调员。

It was something like drone flight path coordinator.

Speaker 2

就像是这个活动的策划者。

Like the planner for this event.

Speaker 1

本质上就是活动策划。

Event planner, essentially.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

他解释了整个运作是如何进行的。

And he was explaining how how the whole operation works.

Speaker 1

所以这个表演发生在重庆一个水域附近。

So it was next to an area of water in Chongqing, and that's where the drone show takes place.

Speaker 1

但在水域旁边,有无人机的起降平台,如果你愿意这么叫的话,嗯。

But next to the area of water, you have the landing pads, if you wanna call them Mhmm.

Speaker 1

还有充电站。

For the drones and there are also the recharging stations.

Speaker 1

所以其中一个做法是把它们全部放在地面上。

So in one they put them all on the ground.

Speaker 1

看起来几乎像一块电脑芯片,成千上万这样的东西。

It looks like a computer chip almost, thousands of these things.

Speaker 1

在一个包装里,有六架无人机。

And in one pack, there was six drones.

Speaker 2

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 1

而且有一个电池会被插入这个包装中。

And there's a battery that gets inserted into that pack.

Speaker 1

这意味着无人机可以起飞,执行任务,然后返回并充电。

So that means that the drones can take off, do their thing, come back, and charge.

Speaker 1

起飞,执行任务,返回并充电,嗯。

Take off, do their thing, come back, and charge Uh-huh.

Speaker 1

只需降落在包装上,它们就能为一场特定的表演充电三次。

Simply by landing on the pack, and they can recharge three times for one particular show.

Speaker 2

哦,这太棒了。

Oh, that's awesome.

Speaker 2

太棒了。

Awesome.

Speaker 1

挺酷的。

Pretty cool.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 2

我之前不知道。

I didn't

Speaker 1

关于这个。

know about that.

Speaker 2

我想我之前也看过另一个关于无人机表演的视频,抱歉。

I think I also watched another video, sorry, on drone shows.

Speaker 2

你是怎么协调的?

It's how how do you coordinate it?

Speaker 2

一次出动五千架或数千架。

5,000 or thousands of them in one go.

Speaker 2

所以显然,它利用了例如卫星和其他网络连接技术。

So apparently, it take advantage of, for example, satellites and other connection network technologies.

Speaker 1

比如GPS定位?

Like GPS coordinate?

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

所以除了无人机之外,他们还需要在旁边配备一些信号设备。

So that they also have, apart from the drones, they also need some sort of signal equipment by the side of it.

Speaker 2

而且,他们还需要屏蔽来自其他无线技术的干扰,以确保这些无人机能够与规划系统以及彼此之间无干扰地通信。

And also, they need to shield away some of the interference coming from other wireless technologies to make sure that these drones can are sort of communicating with the planner and also communicating with each other without interference.

Speaker 2

这让我突然意识到,举办一场由数千架小型飞行器组成的无人机表演竟然是如此复杂的任务。

And that's really that only reminds me that I didn't realize having a drone show with thousands of these little flyers is such a complicated task.

Speaker 0

是的

Yeah.

Speaker 0

想象一下他们为这场表演提前多久开始准备。

Imagine how long ahead they started preparing for this.

Speaker 0

是的

Yeah.

Speaker 2

是的

Yeah.

Speaker 2

我认为我提到的重庆春节无人机表演,十五分钟的演出需要七个小时的准备。

I think for the the the drone show that I mentioned during this Chinese New Year in Chongqing for fifteen minutes of performance, they need to spend seven hours in preparation.

Speaker 1

这不算太糟。

That's not so bad.

Speaker 2

是的

Yeah.

Speaker 2

这这

It's it's

Speaker 0

那得花一整天?

That's a whole day?

Speaker 1

我以为得准备四个月呢。

I thought it was gonna be like four months.

Speaker 2

哦,他们每天都表演。

Oh, they put on like every day.

Speaker 0

如果像有5000

If it's like it's like 5,000

Speaker 1

人的话。

people.

Speaker 1

我真是个混蛋。

I'm such a jerk.

Speaker 1

我怎么了?

What's wrong with me?

Speaker 1

看这些太棒了。

Those are amazing to watch.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以我提到了卡尔加里,之前我开玩笑说他们的节日没那么惊艳,但还是很棒,因为卡尔加里市有一个中国文化中心,中心外面有音乐表演、摊位和舞龙表演。

So I mentioned Calgary, you know, and I was teasing before saying oh, their festival wasn't that impressive, but it was still really cool to see because in the city of Calgary, they have like a Chinese cultural center there and it was outside that they had some music and some vendors and dragon performance.

Speaker 2

可能是舞狮。

Lion dance, perhaps.

Speaker 1

舞狮表演,真的很精彩。

Lion dance performance and it was really cool.

Speaker 1

大家都玩得很开心。

Everybody was having a great time.

Speaker 1

所以世界上有很多地方都会庆祝这个节日。

So there are plenty of places around the world where this festival is is celebrated.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

例如,今年2月22日,一个艺术团在英国举办了灯会晚会,中国总领事和当地华人社区代表都出席了。

For example, on February 22 this year, there's an art troupe held who held a lantern festival gala in UK that's attended by the Chinese consul general and representatives of the local Chinese community.

Speaker 0

所以这次活动包括了歌唱、舞蹈和乐器表演。

So this event featured singing, dancing, and instrumental performances.

Speaker 0

这为当地营造了一种欢乐喜庆的氛围。

That one creates a joyful and festive atmosphere locally.

Speaker 0

这样的庆祝活动不仅将海外华人社区凝聚在一起,也是向对融入中华文化感兴趣的人展示我们文化的好方式。

So such celebrations not only kind of bring overseas Chinese communities together, but also it's such a good way to demonstrate our culture to people who is interested to become part of it.

Speaker 0

我还看了我男朋友发给我的视频。

And I also watched the video that my boyfriend sent me.

Speaker 0

这是在多伦多,那里可能拥有全球最大的本地华人社区之一。

It's in Toronto where it perhaps harbors one of the world's biggest Chinese communities locally.

Speaker 0

他们在唐人街或唐人街外的普通街道和社区里玩得很开心,人们在那里制作糖葫芦。

They had such fun there in the Chinatown or outside of Chinatown in usual streets and communities where people make sugar coated fruits.

Speaker 1

哦,是的。

Oh, yes.

Speaker 1

对。

Yes.

Speaker 0

是的

Yeah.

Speaker 0

糖葫芦?

Canghulu?

Speaker 0

是的

Yeah.

Speaker 0

糖葫芦还有其他各种小吃。

Canghulu and and all the other snacks.

Speaker 0

当然还有舞狮以及其他各种舞蹈和文化表演。

And of course, there's lion dance and all the other dancing and and cultural shows.

Speaker 0

但你会看到不同族群、不同肤色的人们一起参与、一起玩得开心。

But you see people of different groups, different skin colors attending and having fun together.

Speaker 0

这正是我们在这里庆祝的意义。

That's the point of our celebration here.

Speaker 2

就是开心玩乐。

Just having fun.

Speaker 2

对于那些本地没有唐人街或大型春节庆祝活动的人来说,他们也可以在线观看这些表演和庙会。

And also for those who don't really have a Chinatown or big Chinese celebration locally, they can also catch up on these performances and temple fairs online.

Speaker 2

例如,在山西,他们将庙会直播给了国际观众。

For example, in Shanxi, they livestreamed their temple fairs to international audience.

Speaker 2

他们在短视频平台上获得了超过四亿次观看。

They generated over 400,000,000 views on short video platforms.

Speaker 2

因此,观众仍能一窥这些活动的盛况,以及庙会的真实模样。

So viewers can still get a glimpse of how this fares and what the Atlantis really look like.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

如果你没有机会外出,我们刚刚解释了很多不同的活动和方式,让你享受节日。

If you don't have a chance to go out and and we just explained a lot of different events and things that you can do to enjoy the festival.

Speaker 1

但如果你没有机会外出参与,是的,如果可能的话,就看直播吧,通过这种方式体验。

But if you don't have a chance to get out and enjoy it, yeah, grab a livestream if you can and and do it that way.

Speaker 1

但如果你能外出,我认为那会是更加沉浸式的体验,是的。

But if you can get out, I think it would be a much more immersive experience Yes.

Speaker 1

去看一看。

To see it.

Speaker 1

但归根结底,我认为元宵节并不在于规模有多大。

At the end of the day though, I guess the Lantern Festival, it's not about the scale.

Speaker 1

不在于你能吸引多少人参加某个特定活动。

It's not about, you know, how many visitors you can get to one particular event.

Speaker 1

而在于共同分享体验,共同点亮灯火,共同许下对新年的愿望,与家人、朋友或挚爱共度时光。

It's about sharing the experience together, sharing the light together, sharing your wishes for the new year together, and spending time with your family, your friends, or your loved ones.

Speaker 1

真的很棒。

Really cool.
