What a performance from Ali Carter, a worthy nine six winner over Mark Williams in Brentwood.

Speaker 1

今天不是威尔士人的日子,但他在半决赛中对肖恩·墨菲的逆转,会让人记住很久。

It wasn't the Welshman's day, but that semifinal comeback against Sean Murphy will be remembered for some time.

那么,斯蒂芬·亨德利,就是。

So, Stephen Hendry, is.

Speaker 2

首先,切尔滕纳姆怎么样?

How was how was Cheltenham first first and foremost?

Speaker 2

我们已经在回顾一个赛事了。

So we're going back a tournament already.

Speaker 2

那很棒。

It was great.

Speaker 1

我喜欢切尔滕纳姆。

I like Cheltenham.

Speaker 1

那可能是我在英国赛程中最喜欢去的地方之一。

It's it's one it's one of the probably probably my favorite places to go in on the sort of UK calendar.

Speaker 2

非常宜人。

Very pleasant.

Speaker 2

那真是个城市,对吧?

You're real city, isn't it?

Speaker 2

确实是个小镇。

Real town.

Speaker 1

对,确实。

Real yeah.

Speaker 1

那一周真的很愉快。

Real nice week.

Speaker 1

而且很明显,英国公开赛的赛制和其他比赛不一样。

And obviously, the the British Open format is is is is different than other tournament.

Speaker 1

公开赛的抽签总是会带来一些非常精彩的比赛。

The Open draw is is always always throws up some some some pretty cool matches.

Speaker 2

确实如此。

And it did.

Speaker 2

各种有趣的比赛都有。

It was all sorts of fun games.

Speaker 1

完全同意。

Absolutely.

Speaker 1

对,确实。

I mean yeah.

Speaker 1

我的意思是,到了最后阶段,有几局比赛,你知道,我挺失望的。

I mean, when it got to the when it got to the end, it was a couple mean, the set you know, I was disappointed.

Speaker 1

显然,杰克·利索夫斯基对阵塞尔比时有点让人失望,因为杰克前两场比赛赢的方式,都是先落后三局再逆转,打得非常好。

Obviously, Jack Lisowski was a bit of a sort of disappointment against Cell because the way Jack had won his first couple of matches, three one down, played really, really well to win them.

Speaker 1

然后四分之一决赛对阵塞尔比时,表现真的很差,直接0比5输了。

And then was was just just really poor performance against Selby to lose five nil in the quarter final.

Speaker 1

所以那场比赛,你知道,我原本以为杰克可能会在主场赢下来。

So that that was that was you know, I thought Jack maybe was was gonna win on on home probably.

Speaker 1

当时有

There was a

Speaker 2

很多支持他的声音。

lot of a lot of support for that.

Speaker 2

但塞尔比,你知道,塞尔比可不会讲什么情面。

But Selby's know there's no room for sentiment where Selby's concerned.

Speaker 1

我是说,这个半决赛日挺长的。

There was I mean, this this semi final day was quite a long one.

Speaker 1

我是说,这……

I mean, I mean, it's

Speaker 2

你的噩梦。

Your worst nightmare.

Speaker 1

我是说,塞尔比和海菲尔德的半决赛,我得说,这是我最近最不想看、最不想解说的比赛之一。

I mean, set the Selby Highfield semifinal, I have to I have to say it's it's it's not been my most favorite match to watch and to be a pundit on in in recent times.

Speaker 2

半决赛的时候,我确实想到了你。

My thoughts did go to you during the the semifinal.

Speaker 2

现在我看长比赛的时候,总是会想到你。

As it always does now when I'm watching a quite a long match.

Speaker 2

我是说,很高兴看到海菲尔德能进入这样的大赛下一轮。

I mean, great to see Haifield get to to the next stage of a tournament like that.

Speaker 1

我是说,他打得确实很好才走到那一步,但我就是觉得他有点太想模仿塞尔比了。

I mean, he played played really well to get there, but I just I just feel that he went he went a bit too far in trying to maybe out Selby Selby.

Speaker 2

不知道,不是要跟塞尔比硬拼。

Don't know what Not outfight Selby.

Speaker 1

也许那不是他的计划,但有一段时间他在第76局领先50多分。

Maybe that maybe that maybe that wasn't his plan, but there was a time when he when he was 50 odd up in the fri the 76 frame.

Speaker 3

去

To go

Speaker 1

最后三比一,对吧?

three one at end of all, won't it?

Speaker 1

他有机会打进粉球。

He had a chance to put a pink.

Speaker 1

他有机会打进粉球,我真不敢相信他放弃了,你知道吗?

He had a chance to put a pink, and I can't believe he refused it, for all you know?

Speaker 1

我是说,我得拿枪指着我的头才会放弃。

I mean, I need a gun at my head to refuse it.

Speaker 1

而且,他就是想试着把局面锁死,学塞尔比那样打。

And and and, I mean, it just and and and he tried to sort of tie up the frame and do a Selby and Selby.

Speaker 1

那是我见过的最精彩的几局之一,我见到马克后跟他说,那肯定是最精彩的几局之一。

It was it was one of the I said to Mark after I've seen him, said, that must be one of the best frames.

Speaker 1

那是我见过的从落后局面赢回来的最精彩的几局之一。

It was one of the best frames I've ever seen anyone win from from behind.

Speaker 1

塞尔比能赢下那局,简直是天才。

Was just it was just genius that Selby won it.

Speaker 2

那种情况下能赢下这局的人只有一个,那就是塞尔比。

There's one man that can win a frame in that situation, it's Selby.

Speaker 2

但不管你能不能赢,伙计。

But whether you win man.

Speaker 2

就是

Is the

Speaker 1

我觉得利亚姆也是,对。

only I think Liam was that yeah.

Speaker 1

没错。

Exactly.

Speaker 1

但我觉得,利亚姆输掉那局,其实是他自己造成的。

But Liam was an architect in his own downfall, I think, in losing that frame.

Speaker 1

如果他能拿下第三局,那他就很有机会了。

And three went up, would have given him a great chance.

Speaker 2

那就能敲开决赛的大门了。

Would knocking have on the door of the final.

Speaker 2

我们稍后会多聊一些切尔滕纳姆的赛事,但先说说最近的比赛,刚结束的英格兰公开赛,阿里·卡特赢了,他以9比6击败马克·威廉姆斯,捧起了史蒂夫·戴维斯奖杯。

We'll we'll talk a little bit more about the Cheltenham events, but to come to the most recent tournament, the English Open, which has only just finished, Ali Carter, the winner, beat Mark Williams nine-six to lift the Steve Davis trophy.

Speaker 2

卡特有一阵子没夺冠了,这次他看起来特别激动。

It's been a little while for Carter and he seemed very pumped to win it.

Speaker 3

有意思,对吧?

It's funny, isn't it?

Speaker 3

因为你在赛事开始前列名单的时候,真不会想到阿里是潜在冠军,但当他捧起奖杯时,你又会想,为什么不是他呢?你看他击球那么漂亮,对吧?

Because you never really think of Ali as a potential winner when you're sort of going through your shortlist at the start of the event, but then when he gets his hands on the trophy you just think why?' know, you look at his he's got such a pretty hit hasn't he?

Speaker 3

他的击球很扎实,卡特的打法看起来没什么毛病,而且他在采访里也说过,他可能觉得那些好日子已经过去了,但像阿里这样技术这么扎实、打法这么赏心悦目的选手,你永远不可能离冠军太远。

Got his ball striking, there's nothing that looks bad about Carter's game, and you know, he sort of said in his interviews that he maybe thought that these days had gone, but when somebody is so technically sound like that and so pretty on the eye as Ali is, you're never going to be far away.

Speaker 3

我觉得不管你打得有多差,总会有那么点东西帮你撑过去。而且你知道吗,他在四分之一决赛中对周跃龙时,差一颗球就输了,我记得是这样。但从那之后,我觉得他打得非常出色。

I suppose it doesn't really matter how bad you feel like you're playing, you'll always have that to sort of pull you through at times, and, you know, he was one ball away from losing to Zhou Yu Long in the quarter finals, I think it was, but from there on out, I thought he played brilliant.

Speaker 2

我们经常说,一个潜在的冠军差点在更早的比赛中出局,这真的很神奇。

It's amazing how often we say that a potential, a championship winner was a ball away from going out of the tournament much earlier on.

Speaker 2

这种情况我们见过一次又一次。

We've seen it time and time again.

Speaker 2

感觉如果你有一次幸运的逃脱,或者一次死里逃生,有时候那可能就是转折点。

It feels like if you have one sort of lucky escape or one get out of jail, then sometimes that can be it.

Speaker 1

我觉得你很少能看到,像奥沙利文那样的选手,一路顺风顺水,从来不受挑战。

I mean, I think it's very rare that you see I mean, probably, you know, the likes of the O'Sullivan's or whatever go go right through a tournament and and never never be looked to be challenged.

Speaker 1

但通常现在,总有一场比赛你可能会出局。

But usually these days, there's somewhere a match where you you could have gone out.

Speaker 1

但是,是的,我为阿里感到高兴。

But, yeah, I I I I I delight it for Ali.

Speaker 1

回到史蒂文说的他的技术,我觉得他变得非常注重技术细节。

I mean, I I think going back to Steven saying about his technique, I think he's getting really technical.

Speaker 1

我觉得他的后摆是比赛里最漂亮的后摆之一。

Think he's got one of the best back swings of the final back swing that I've that that I've in the game.

Speaker 1

这让他能把握好击球的时机。

I mean, it just that it just allows him the timing of it.

Speaker 1

这让他能随心所欲地出杆。

It just allows him to just do what he wants and deliver the cue.

Speaker 1

而且他击球非常漂亮。

And and he and he has a a beautiful ball striker.

Speaker 1

那个长台红球,中距离,稳稳打进,然后两库走位叫黑球,完成最后的清台。

The the long red are sort of mid distance ready knocked in to stun off two cushions for the black to make the final break.

Speaker 1

那一杆打得真是漂亮极了,尤其是在争夺冠军的压力下。

It was just as as beautifully struck a shot as you'd ever wanna see, especially under pressure of of trying to win the title.

Speaker 2

整个星期他都在打进长台球,看起来越来越自信,半决赛里连续得了十六分,真是势不可挡。

And he was knocking the long pots in really all week, just seemed more and more confident, sort of blue ding away, really, in the semi, four sixteen unanswered points.

Speaker 2

所以,你知道,就算他状态这么好,说实话我还是没想到他能赢威廉姆斯。

So, you know, when someone gets in that sort of groove I still didn't think he'd beat Williams, to be honest.

Speaker 2

我当时觉得威廉姆斯能拿下决赛。

And I fancied Williams to take the final.

Speaker 2

比赛一开始确实挺胶着的,五五开吧,但后来卡特在最后阶段直接把他打崩了。

And it did start out sort of, well, it was fiftyfifty and then Carter just really blitzed him in the final session.

Speaker 1

但我觉得总的来说,马克——哦,抱歉,史蒂文,你继续说。

But I think generally, Mark went Oh, sorry, Steven, go on.

Speaker 3

我觉得威廉姆斯在那场比赛前是稍微被看好的一方。

I think Williams was a marginal favorite going into that game.

Speaker 3

你看他们俩一路打进决赛的方式。

You look at how they both sort of, their route to the final.

Speaker 3

不过,你知道吗,我其实打开看了,当时比分大概是六比六、七比六,有一局特别关键,感觉打了很久才结束。

But, you know, I flicked it on actually, it was about six each, seven-six, there was a massive frame that seemed to take a long time to conclude.

Speaker 3

阿里赢了那一局,最后当然就逐渐拉开差距了,我觉得那才是真正的转折点,因为第一阶段的比赛打得非常精彩。

Ali won it and eventually obviously pulled away, and I think that was the difference really, because it was both, the first session was magnificent.

Speaker 3

显然威廉姆斯当时稍微领先,但当你看到两位这么优秀的选手,彼此又很尊重,正面交锋的时候,你总是会有很高的期待。

Obviously Williams had the little lead, but when you've got two great players like that with a lot of respect for one another going head to head, you always expect a lot.

Speaker 3

是啊,我觉得那天就是阿里的日子,而且是在本土作战。

And yeah, it was just Ali's day, I suppose, on home soil.

Speaker 2

当然,威廉姆斯之前已经赢了一场马拉松式的半决赛,就像斯蒂芬提到的。

Williams of course had won a marathon semi already, as Stephen alluded to.

Speaker 2

对阵墨菲时一度1比5落后,最后6比5逆转取胜。

Five one down to Murphy, comes back to win six five.

Speaker 2

不管决赛结果如何,我觉得那场比赛才是这次锦标赛最让人难忘的。

That, regardless of the final, that that is the match we'll all remember from this tournament, I suppose.

Speaker 1

太不可思议了。

Was phenomenal.

Speaker 1

我是说,很少有球员能像威廉姆斯那样,以那种方式打出那样的比赛。

I mean, it's this There's very, very few players that could have done what Williams did in in that match, in the manner he did.

Speaker 1

显然,墨菲错失的那颗黑球,当时他6比2领先,那球确实太关键了。

Obviously, that that black that Murphy missed, he was six two fifty on the air was was obviously incredible.

Speaker 1

但威廉姆斯在最后几局的表现,那种打法,简直就是纯粹的马克·威廉姆斯风格。

But what Williams did in the the balls the the way he played in the last couple of frames was just well, that's just he's just pure Mark Williams.

Speaker 1

我是说,他自己也承认了。

I mean, he he he admitted himself.

Speaker 1

他可能击球或者控制母球的旋转不如很多顶级选手,但他就是能打进一些不可思议的球,而且就像我们常说的,约翰和罗尼,他们都是难以置信的竞争者。

He may not strike the ball or get as much work on the cue ball as as as as a lot of the top players, But he just pots some incredible balls, and he just he's as as we as you know, as we say about him, John and Ronnie, they're just unbelievable competitors.

Speaker 1

就是永远不放弃。

Just never never never never give up.

Speaker 1

而且他们能在最大的压力下,找到那种状态。

And they're able to just, under that most pressure, they're just able to find these gears.

Speaker 1

而且,你知道,当他赢了那场,我就觉得他会夺冠,基本上,因为马克·威廉姆斯在决赛中的胜率相当高。

And and I just you know, when he won that, I thought I thought he was gonna win it, basically, because Mark Wimsey's strike rate in finals is is is pretty good.

Speaker 1

但,是的,最终阿里赢得当之无愧。

But, yeah, it's yeah, well well well deserved in the end from Ali.

Speaker 1

他,他,他,他,我总喜欢看到球员以那种令人信服的方式赢下最后几局来夺冠。

He he he he finished I always like to see players, you know, win the final frames to win titles like that convincingly.

Speaker 1

而且我觉得他那样收尾,会给他带来很多快乐。

And I think that would have given him a lot of pleasure the way he finished off.

Speaker 3

但就说那场对肖恩的半决赛,0比4落后,然后1比5落后,马克·威廉姆斯在那之前的表现简直糟透了。

But just specifically on that semi against Sean, four nil and five one down, Mark Williams was absolutely woeful up to that point.

Speaker 3

我看了比赛,他一个球都打不进。

I put it on, he could not pot a ball.

Speaker 3

太糟糕了。

It was awful.

Speaker 3

然后你往后看,他居然挺过了那场比赛。

And then you fast forward and he's managed to come through that game.

Speaker 3

真的很少有球员能做到这一点。

There are very few players that can actually do that.

Speaker 3

在比赛最激烈的时候,你在赛场上,要找到那种状态并切换过来,你知道,这就是为什么他们是最顶尖的,对吧?

When you're in the heat of battle and you're out there in the arena, to somehow find it and switch it on, You know, that is why they're the best, know?

Speaker 3

对,心理素质简直不可思议。

Yeah, Temperament is just ridiculous.

Speaker 2

对,在克鲁斯堡做到这一点是一回事,那里有19局9胜或者更长的赛制,你还有时间调整状态,但只打到6局就0比4落后,这作为逆转来说完全是另一回事。

Yeah, and it's one thing to do it at the crucible where you've got sort of best of 19, best of whatever, you've got time to have a bad session still, but to be four nil down when only playing to six, that is something else as comebacks go

Speaker 1

领先。

up.

Speaker 3

但不仅仅是比分的问题,我们都可以0比4落后,但仍然觉得自己打得还行。

But it wasn't just the scoreline, like we can all be four nil down and still feel like we're playing okay.

Speaker 3

而且觉得自己还有机会,但关键是他当时打球的方式。

And feel like we've got a chance, but it was the way he was playing.

Speaker 3

对。

Yes.

Speaker 3

你知道,有很多球员在这种情况下可能就放弃了,心想,我的状态全乱了,动作也变形了。但那些顶尖选手,他们从来不会这么想。

You know, there's a lot of players that would have just fallen by the wayside there thinking, you know, my game's all over the place right now, my action's gone to But those guys, they just never ever think like that.

Speaker 2

而且对阵墨菲也一样,他是个永不言弃的竞争者,会抓住任何失误惩罚你,你根本想不到还能从那样的比赛中翻盘。

And against Murphy as well, a relentless competitor, who is going to punish any mistake, you just wouldn't think there's a way back into a match like that.

Speaker 2

墨菲确实说了很多关于他的,嗯,特别是他的皮头,在社交媒体和采访中都提到,他对自己的球杆不满意。

Murphy did talk quite a lot about his, well, his tip specifically, both on social media and in interviews, was dissatisfied with his his cue.

Speaker 2

所以他是最新一个开始抱怨自己球杆的球员。

So he's the latest player to to start going on about his cue.

Speaker 2

我是说,再说一次,你会觉得他打得挺好的,毕竟他对自己的球杆不满意,但他一直在说旋转太多之类的问题。

I mean, again, you'd say he played pretty well for a man that wasn't happy with his cue, but he was talking about getting like too much spin and things.

Speaker 1

我理解你为什么就是不换它。

I understand why you just don't change it.

Speaker 1

因为我见过罗尼在比赛期间换过三四次皮头。

Because I've seen Ronnie change tips about three or four times during tournaments.

Speaker 1

因为现在的皮头一般装上就能用,一装上球杆就行。

Because tips these days are generally ready to go straight away as soon as you put put them on the queue.

Speaker 1

我不知道他用的是什么牌子。

I don't know what what what brand he uses.

Speaker 1

不过,是的。

But yeah.

Speaker 1

我是说,我觉得皮头自从八十年代和九十年代以来进步了很多,我们以前,我以前用的皮头要花三四天才能磨合好,才能达到比赛状态。

I mean, as I think tips have have come on since the sort of eighties and nineties, we used to I used to use it used to take three or four days to knock in and be be sort of match ready.

Speaker 1

我觉得现在装上就能用,基本上马上就能用。

I think you put them on now, they're pretty much ready to go.

Speaker 1

所以,你知道,如果一周刚开始你就不满意,我觉得就换掉,再装一个新的。

So, you know, if you're not happy with early on in a week, I mean, take it off and put another one on, I think.

Speaker 1

但我是说,你知道,也许他不想冒那个险,就坚持用了。

But I mean, you know, it's it's it's maybe he didn't wanna take that risk and and persevered.

Speaker 1

而且你得说,如果那个皮头真的那么差,他能打进半决赛已经很不错了。

And what you gotta say, if it was that bad, he did well to get to the semifinal.

Speaker 1

但你不能把那个黑球失误归咎于皮头。

But you can't blame a tip from that black office spot he missed.

Speaker 2

对。

No.

Speaker 2

我们得再请他上播客,让他解释一下那个球。

I'm I we'll have to get him back on the podcast to account for that one.

Speaker 2

这又是墨菲的一次遗憾出局。

It gets another it's another near miss for Murphy.

Speaker 2

他在播客里说过哈迪的训练方式,以及他如何进入比赛的关键阶段,但以那种方式在半决赛出局,我想他肯定很痛心。

He he talked in the on the pod about how Hardy's working, how and he's getting to the business end of tournaments, but it will have stung to go out in the semis in that manner, I should think.

Speaker 3

我觉得他的状态正在上升,对吧?

Think his game is on the right trajectory, isn't it?

Speaker 3

是的,他肯定会赢的。

Yeah, it's gonna win

Speaker 0

再赢一场。

one more

Speaker 3

杰夫打得非常好,而且他总是在那个水平线上。

Jeff is playing brilliant snooker and he's there or thereabouts.

Speaker 3

如果你能一直保持这样的状态,你迟早会拿到冠军的。

And if you're putting yourself in that position consistently, consistently, you're you're gonna going to be picking up trophies.

Speaker 3

虽然上周可能会让你失望,但很快就有新的比赛,所以没时间想太多。

As quickly as you can be disappointed about last week, you can move on and there's another event just around the corner, so not a lot of time to dwell.

Speaker 2

确实。

It's true.

Speaker 1

对,我觉得墨菲很快就能赢一场,他现在的状态挺好的。

Yeah, plenty to I think Murphy's got a win coming pretty soon, I think, when he's playing.

Speaker 3

我也是这么想的。

Me too.

Speaker 2

那咱们聊聊中国世界冠军吧。

Well, a couple of words on the Chinese World Champions.

Speaker 2

说到这个,就不得不提利亚姆·戴维斯,他赢了一场漂亮的比赛,但后来输给了他的偶像马克·威廉姆斯。

We'll use it when I have to Liam Davis, great win for Davis, who was then beaten by his hero, Mark Williams.

Speaker 2

戴维斯这个名字最近被提到过几次,他刚开始崭露头角。

Davis is a name that's come up a couple of times recently, he's just starting to make some headway.

Speaker 3

其实我越来越看好利亚姆·戴维斯了。

Becoming more and more impressed actually with Liam Davis.

Speaker 3

要知道,他是个年轻选手,这点值得强调。

Know, he's a player, a young player, think it's worth saying.

Speaker 3

感觉他好像已经打了很久了。

It feels like he's been around for a long time.

Speaker 3

他大概才20岁,但已经积累了非常多的经验。

I think he's about 20 years old, but he's had so much experience.

Speaker 3

但他是个各方面都做得很好的人。

But he's someone that does a lot of things very well.

Speaker 3

他的比赛没有那种特别突出的部分,能一下子把对手打垮,而且你看他打球的时候,也不像有些年轻选手那样,把球打得满台飞,看起来特别刺激。

He's not got sort of a standout part of his game where it just can blow an opponent away and he doesn't necessarily look that exciting when you're watching him like some of the young players that are firing balls around the table.

Speaker 3

他非常踏实,非常成熟,他的球技远超他的年龄,现在他开始展现出这种成熟了。

He's very grounded, very mature, and his game is well beyond his years, and he's starting to show that maturity now.

Speaker 1

我评论过他的比赛,他在切尔滕纳姆赢了谁,赢了霍金斯。

I commented on his match when he beat who did a beat in Cheltenham, beat someone quite Hawkins.

Speaker 1

他赢了巴里·霍金斯。

He beat Barry Hawkins for one.

Speaker 1

然后你说得对,他看起来打得很有章法。

And then you're right, he looks he plays away.

Speaker 1

他看起来很成熟。

He looks mature.

Speaker 1

他看起来衣着整洁,打扮得体。

He looks immaculate immaculately dressed, turned out.

Speaker 1

我觉得他有点矮。

Thought he's little bit short.

Speaker 1

他很在意这个。

He appreciates it.

Speaker 1

我觉得这挺重要的,就是看起来要精神、要得体。

Well, I think I think that's I think that's quite an important part of it, is that to look to look good and stuff.

Speaker 1

因为这也能给对手一种威慑力。

Because that can be almost an intimidation for your opponent as well.

Speaker 1

你会觉得,天哪,他状态真好。

If you oh my god, he looks good.

Speaker 1

看起来很从容。

Looks comfortable.

Speaker 1

但让我印象最深的是他对霍金斯那场比赛里的母球控制。

But his cue ball control was was the thing that impressed me against Hawkins.

Speaker 1

我觉得,在一号台上,你知道的,年轻球员上来的时候母球到处乱跑,很难稳住局面。

I thought I thought he because on table one, you know, you see players, young players coming in with the cue balls all over the shop, and they would struggle to just keep it together.

Speaker 1

但他看起来确实很出色。

But he was he looked apart to me.

Speaker 1

而且我觉得如果他——他——

And I think if He he

Speaker 2

他告诉我

tells me

Speaker 3

他对自己的比赛状态非常了解。

that he's very in tune with his game as well.

Speaker 3

因为就像你说的,上一号台比赛,你多少还在适应阶段。

Because as you say, going out onto table one, you're kind of just finding your feet a little bit.

Speaker 3

但能一上来就进入状态,这在我看来说明他现在对自己的比赛非常有信心。

But to hit the ground running straight away, that to me says he's very confident about his own game right now.

Speaker 1

对。

Yep.

Speaker 1

而且,他又一次完成了比赛。

And again, he finished it.

Speaker 1

我是说,他好像是以三比零赢的。

I mean, he went I think he went three nil.

Speaker 1

巴里·霍金斯赢了一局,看起来好像要再赢一局,给他施加压力。

Barry Hawkins came one of frame and looked like he was coming out again to maybe put pressure on him.

Speaker 1

但他一杆清台,直接拿下了比赛。

But he won the frame in one visit to win the match.

Speaker 1

这确实挺让人印象深刻的,因为他没有拖泥带水。

That's something that's impressive in a way because, you know, he didn't stutter over the line.

Speaker 1

他一路打得很顺畅。

Know, he went right through it.

Speaker 2

非常轻松。

Very comfortable.

Speaker 2

战胜威利·尤瑟,赢得漂亮。

Great win over Willy user.

Speaker 2

至于赵京通,他在布伦特伍德首轮就输给了所有对手,而他才刚刚登顶世界第一。

As for Zhaojingtong, he lost to all of the lines in the first round in Brentwood, he's only just been crowned world number one.

Speaker 2

当然,我觉得很难说这是不是给他带来了额外的压力,还是他那天状态不好。

Of course, I suppose it's very hard to know whether that's brought an extra pressure or was it just an off day for him?

Speaker 2

不过,说实话,莱恩斯对他来说也是个很棒的结果,显然是的。

Mean, have to say, Lions is a fantastic result for him as well, obviously.

Speaker 3

对,我们看了那场比赛。

Yeah, we've watched that game.

Speaker 3

奥利打得非常好。

Ollie played great.

Speaker 3

我觉得我们不能抹杀他的表现,他打得非常出色。

I don't think we can take anything away from him, he played brilliant.

Speaker 3

要知道,赵心童在那场比赛中打出了两杆破百。

Know, Zhao Zingtong made two century breaks in that game.

Speaker 2

说实话,他确实做到了,所以并不是说他没发挥出来,对吧?

To be fair, he did so, it's exactly like he didn't show up, is he?

Speaker 3

不,那天根本不是状态不好,奥利就是站了出来,扛起了比赛。但我觉得就奥利个人而言,他让人很头疼,他是我在巡回赛上最好的朋友之一,我们一起练过球,他有那样的表现能力,但之后他往往不能持续下去。

No, it wasn't an off day whatsoever, Oliver just stood up and was counted for that day, but I think just specifically on Oliver, he's so frustrating, he's one of my best pals on the tour and we practised together, he's got performances like that in him, but then he can't, he tends to back it up.

Speaker 3

这真的很让人沮丧,因为在我看来,他在比赛中没有发挥出应有的水平。

It's so frustrating because for me, he's underachieved in the game.

Speaker 3

他做得还不够,没有证明自己。

He hasn't done enough, he's not justified himself.

Speaker 3

我觉得如果他能保持那种稳定性,他完全可以达到顶尖水平。

I think if he can get that level of consistency, he could really go right to the top.

Speaker 3

目前,他还缺少一些东西。

At the minute, there's something missing.

Speaker 3

史蒂文,我不知道你觉得那可能是什么。

I don't know what you think it might be, Steven.

Speaker 2

我正想问呢。

Was gonna ask.

Speaker 3

什么?关键是什么?

What What's the point?

Speaker 2

那些能稳定发挥的人,和那些只是偶尔展现才华的人,区别在哪里?

What is the difference between someone that that can do that regularly and someone that just shows you these flashes of brilliance?

Speaker 2

这全是心理问题吗?

Is it all psychology?

Speaker 2

是跟专注力有关,还是别的什么?

Is it to do with focus or or what?

Speaker 1

我觉得,这些年来确实有一些球员。

It's I think there's there's there's been players down the years.

Speaker 1

能打出那样的成绩。

Get a result like that.

Speaker 1

我是说,特鲁姆普得接受这一点。

I mean, Tsington's gonna have to put up with that.

Speaker 1

他是世界第一。

He's world number one.

Speaker 1

他是众矢之的。

He's a target.

Speaker 1

球员们有时候会在他面前超常发挥,他只能坦然接受,并应对这种情况。

Players are sometimes gonna raise their game against him, and that's what he's just gonna quote for quote with it and accept it.

Speaker 1

但这些年也有像奥利弗·莱昂斯这样的球员,他们看起来像是顶级16强的选手,面对那些打出这种表现的球员时,也会有这样的发挥。对。

But there's been players in the years like like Oliver Lyons who who looked like with, top 16 players against the players that make these performances Mhmm.

Speaker 1

然后他们又能重新振作起来。

And then can sort of get themselves back up.

Speaker 1

他们把自己提升到那个高度,努力去提升自己的比赛水平。

They've got themselves up to that height of of of trying to, you know, raising their game.

Speaker 1

然后接下来的比赛,他可能是在外场或者别的什么场地。

And then the play, obviously, his next match, he might have been on an outside table or whatever.

Speaker 1

我不记得当时抽签的情况了。

I can't remember where the draw was.

Speaker 1

然后突然之间,就像是从高处跌落,但你必须把每场比赛都当成一样的来对待。

And then all of a sudden, it's like it's like a big come down, but you got to go to treat every match the same.

Speaker 1

而且,你知道,他已经在巡回赛上打了很久了。

And that's that's, you know, he's been on tour quite a while now.

Speaker 3

我们2014年一起转为职业选手的。

We turned pro together back in 2014.

Speaker 2

我是说,这

I mean, it's

Speaker 1

更重要的是,担心他是否还有那个能力,你知道,如果现在这个机会已经错过了,他需要在比赛中不断进步,一场比赛之后紧接着再赢一场,不管对手是谁。

more than And worry whether he's got whether he can, you know, if it's if it's passed him by now that that he need to find that to sort of go through improve as a tournament goes on and and back up one result with a one straight after it, no matter who's playing.

Speaker 2

霍尔沃斯,你有什么看法吗?

Have you got a theory, Hallworth?

Speaker 2

我是说,显然你和他非常熟。

I mean, obviously, you know him really, really well.

Speaker 2

你觉得有没有什么具体的原因,能解释他为什么没能发挥出他显然具备的潜力?

Do you you think there's anything that you can put your finger on what that would be stopping him from from achieving the potential that he's obviously got?

Speaker 3

这个问题很难回答,因为你看,我显然和他很亲近,所以我经常见到他,我看到他在台下的表现,他的训练很好,他的准备也很好,他身边有一个很棒的团队。

It's tough to answer because I look, obviously I'm very close to him, so I see him on a regular basis and I see what he's doing off the table, his practice is great, his setup is great, he's got a great team around him.

Speaker 3

他比赛的每一个小方面,他都处于正确的状态。

There's sort of every little aspect of his game, he's kind of in the right place.

Speaker 3

就像我说的,他在电视上有过那些重要的胜利,比如去年在沙特对阵世界第一的肖恩·墨菲和贾德·特鲁姆普,这些都是重要的成绩,但之后就在下一场比赛中失利了。

Like I say, he's had those big wins on TV against Xiao Zingtong, world number one, Joe Trump in Saudi last year, these are big results, but has then fallen at the hurdle the next time.

Speaker 3

我只能说,这肯定是心态问题,一定是。

I can only put it that it's got to be mindset, it has to be.

Speaker 3

也许就是有些地方不太对劲,太难了。

Maybe just something isn't quite in place, it's so tough.

Speaker 3

我们说的就是那一点点差距,你知道吗?

We're talking margins, know?

Speaker 3

他输的那些比赛,对手都不是等闲之辈,都是顶尖选手。

Those next games that he's losing, he's not losing to mugs, the top players as well.

Speaker 3

上周在英格兰公开赛上他输给了袁思俊,那也是个很棒的选手,也在冲击顶尖行列。

He lost to Iwan Cijun in the English last week, he's a great player, he's knocking on the door as well.

Speaker 3

但在击败赵心童那么高的兴奋点之后,紧接着输掉下一场比赛,肯定很沮丧。

But after such a high of beating Jiaozing Tong, it's got to be frustrating to then lose that next game.

Speaker 1

关键就是不管对手是谁,都要保持同样的水平,因为你知道,他赢了赵心童,肯定会特别高兴。

It's just about keeping that same level no matter who you're playing because, you know, he'd probably beat Jiaozing Tong, he'd be, like, obviously thrilled about it.

Speaker 1

也许身边的人还会说,哇,这成绩真棒。

And maybe the people that are around you saying, wow, what a result.

Speaker 1

你可以,你知道,你可以打得好,你可以做到。

You can, you know, you can play well, you can do that.

Speaker 1

然后你开始想后面的事情。

And then you start thinking ahead.

Speaker 1

你得告诉自己,那场比赛已经结束了。

You gotta just say, well, I say that match is done.

Speaker 1

不管你赢了谁。

Doesn't matter who you beat.

Speaker 1

那场比赛已经结束了。

That match is done.

Speaker 1

或者你得让自己为下一场比赛做好准备。

Or you gotta get yourself up for the next match.

Speaker 2

实际上,就是一场一场来。

That one game at a time, in fact.

Speaker 1

而且,而且,而且,听我说,这并不容易。

And it's and it's and it's listen, it's not easy.

Speaker 1

这就是为什么,也是区分顶尖选手和其他选手的地方,可惜的是。

It's why and it's what separates the best from the rest, unfortunately.

Speaker 1

他们能做到。

They they can do it.

Speaker 2

如果我们回到切尔滕纳姆,显然,杰克·琼斯赢了那场比赛。

If we go back to Cheltenham, obviously, Jack Jones won that one.

Speaker 2

本赛季第二个排名赛冠军,决赛中击败了塞尔比,又是一个大多数人可能没想到他会赢的决赛。

Second ranking title of the season, beat Selby in the final, another final where most people probably wouldn't have put they picked the winner.

Speaker 2

而且他赢的方式和阿里·卡特在布伦特伍德类似,在最后阶段连续赢了好几局。

And he won it in a way in similar style to Ali Carter in Brentwood in the reeled off, you know, several frames in that last session.

Speaker 2

杰克·琼斯真的很有意思,显然他有过打进克鲁斯堡决赛的神奇表现。

Really interesting one, Jack Jones, obviously had that wonder run to the crucible final.

Speaker 2

然后感觉我们好像没怎么见到他。

Then it felt like we didn't really see him.

Speaker 2

但现在他似乎突然又成了大热门。

But now he seems to be suddenly a big contender again.

Speaker 1

对,那是一场很棒的胜利。

Yeah, it was good win.

Speaker 1

当然,在排名赛决赛中击败像塞尔比这样的选手,这是一场非常棒的胜利。

Very good win, obviously, to beat someone like Selby in a final or ranking tournament.

Speaker 1

我觉得塞尔比在最后阶段有点松懈了,这不像他。

I thought Selby weakened towards the end, which is not like him.

Speaker 2

他赛后说自己非常累。

He said he was very tired after.

Speaker 2

他说自己在南方感觉有点精疲力尽。

He said he sort of felt burnt out in the South.

Speaker 1

所以是的。

So yeah.

Speaker 1

嗯,如果真是这样,那也说得通,因为他确实在最后阶段松懈了。

Well, mean, well, should well, if that's the case, it should because he did he he weakened towards the end.

Speaker 1

但杰克·琼斯呢,他越接近胜利越强。

But but to pair Jack Jones, he got stronger to to the winning line.

Speaker 1

杰克·琼斯给我留下的印象挺深的。

He was what what I I quite was quite impressed by Jack Jones.

Speaker 1

他可能会犯一个比较简单的失误,但之后不会接着再犯。

He would throw in quite an easy miss, but he wouldn't go into another miss after it.

Speaker 1

他会调整回来,把那个失误忘掉。

Would come back and he would forget about it.

Speaker 1

下次他回到球台,基本上就能赢下那一局。

The next thing he came to the table, he would invariably win the frame.

Speaker 1

这说明他的心态很好,不会一直纠结于那些糟糕的击球。

So it shows it shows that he's got the temperament right to to to not let not dwell on on on bad shots.

Speaker 1

我觉得他是个非常优秀的选手。

I say, he's I mean, he's he's he's very good player.

Speaker 1

他是那种各方面都做得不错,但没有特别突出之处的球员。

Mean, as he you know, one of these players that does everything well, but nothing sort of spectacularly well.

Speaker 1

他总能取得好成绩,但接下来他需要把这种表现稳定下来,持续地争取进入前十六名。

He's you know, he's always gonna get results, but he's gotta turn that into consistency now and consistently getting to know, trying to push for the top 16, obviously.

Speaker 1

稳定地打进八强、四强。

Consistently get to quarters, semis.

Speaker 1

但听我说,他确实,你知道,他确实能打。

But listen, he can, you know, he can play.

Speaker 1

他是一个非常非常非常优秀的选手。

He's a very, very, very good player.

Speaker 2

他看起来像是一个状态起伏很大的选手,从最佳状态到

He seems like a player who has quite big swings between his best form and

Speaker 0

到

and

Speaker 2

最差状态,或者至少,你知道,你甚至在一场比赛里都很难判断,但肯定在一个赛季里是这样。

his worst form, or at least, you know, you can't always tell even within a match, but but definitely over the course of a season.

Speaker 2

所以也许这跟信心有关。

So maybe it's about confidence.

Speaker 2

嗯,他立刻退出了英格兰公开赛,因为他妻子快要生了,所以霍尔沃斯会告诉你这将是另一个因素。

Well, immediately withdrew from the English because his wife's about to give birth, so Hallworth will tell you that's going to be another factor.

Speaker 3

所以你来付钱。

So you're paying.

Speaker 3

但回到几年前他在谢菲尔德打进决赛那会儿。

But go back to when he made that run to the final in Sheffield a couple of years ago.

Speaker 3

他短暂地进入了前16,但我总觉得杰克·琼斯有点冒充者综合征。

He got into the top 16 briefly, but I just felt it was a bit of impostor syndrome from Jack Jones.

Speaker 3

他从来没有真正站出来。

He never really stepped up to it.

Speaker 2

他不相信自己会

Didn't believe himself that he was going

Speaker 3

是的,说实话,我觉得他根本不相信自己属于那里。

Yeah, I just don't think he believed that he belonged there, to be honest.

Speaker 3

你可以从他的比赛和他在球桌旁的表现看出来,就是不像那些顶级选手那么自信。

You could see in his game his demeanour around the table, just didn't look as confident as those top players.

Speaker 2

我想如果你因为一场比赛就突然进入前16,这种情况可能会发生。

I suppose that can happen if you get parachuted into the top 16 like that off the back of one tournament.

Speaker 2

没有同样的自信,这是你。

Not got the same confidence, It's you

Speaker 3

但你必须得处理好这个问题。

but got to be you've got to deal with that.

Speaker 3

我觉得从那以后他处理得更好了。

And I think since then he's dealt with that better.

Speaker 3

他显然在本赛季初赢得了冠军联赛,这给了他信心,让他相信自己能赢。

He obviously went on to win the Championship League at the start of this season, which gave him that belief that he can win.

Speaker 3

好吧,那是个小赛事,但他还是赢了。

Okay, it was a smaller event, but he still won it.

Speaker 3

他带着奖杯离开,而且在那之后,他打出了不错的斯诺克,看到他赢得真正的赛事真是太好了。

He left with the trophy and off the back of that, he's playing some good snooker and it was great to see him win a proper tournament.

Speaker 2

是的,我们很期待看他是否能继续进步。

Yeah, we'll be interested to see whether he kicks on.

Speaker 2

贾德·特朗普是琼斯在半决赛中的对手之一,而特朗普随后在布伦特伍德的决胜局中输给了墨菲。

Judd Trump was one of Jones' victims in the semifinal, and Trump then went down to Murphy in a decider in Brentwood.

Speaker 2

所以,我们其实已经悄悄提过好几次了,贾德在这些比赛里就是没能坚持到最后。

So, well, we've sort of just whispered it a few times that judge is just not quite going going the distance in these tournaments.

Speaker 2

有人问我,你觉得他会担心吗?

I was asked, do you think he'll be worried?

Speaker 2

亨德利几乎总是说,不会的,他不会担心,因为贾德知道自己很厉害。

And Hendry pretty much always says, no, he won't be because Judd, he knows he's good.

Speaker 2

现在可能还是这样。

And that probably is still the case.

Speaker 2

但他距离上次夺冠已经有一段时间了,对吧?

But he it's been a little bit of a gap since winning one now, isn't it?

Speaker 1

我是说,他输给杰克·琼斯之后接受阿比盖尔采访的时候,那样子,就像是在告诉我什么似的。

It's I mean, his post match interview after losing to Jack Jones was with Abigail was, like, was was telling me.

Speaker 1

回到演播室,我一直在笑,因为那说的就是我。

Came back to the studio, I was I was laughing because that was me.

Speaker 1

我是说,他简直就是在说,给我看一个输得起的人,我就给你看一个输家。

I mean, he's just he's literally, you know, show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser.

Speaker 1

没

Wasn't

Speaker 2

他不太爱说话。

He wasn't chatty.

Speaker 1

他还一直说,不不不不。

And he was like, no, no, no, no.

Speaker 1

没(说话)。

Wasn't.

Speaker 1

他当时就说,当你问他期不期待布伦特伍德站比赛时

He's just like, when you say, are you looking forward to Brentwood?

Speaker 1

他说没有。

No.

Speaker 1

所以你看,贾德·特朗普对赢得奖杯这件事的兴趣已经淡了很多。

So that judge Trump judge judge Trump all judge Trump's interest in his winning trophies.

Speaker 1

不管是输在半决赛还是决赛,对他来说都不是个好星期。

Doesn't matter whether it's a semi final loss or a final loss, that's that's not that's not a good week for him.

Speaker 1

一切只看输赢。

It's all about wins.

Speaker 1

而且,是的,他当时真的是气坏了。

And, yeah, he was he was he was yeah, he was absolutely fuming.

Speaker 1

你都能看得出来。

You could you could see it.

Speaker 1

但我喜欢看到那样。

But I like to see that.

Speaker 3

我也只能这么做。

It's the only way I to do as well.

Speaker 3

而且,你知道,你在社交媒体上看到人们,每个人都有看法,但正如你所说,他是个赢家,那就是他该做的事。

And, you know, you see people on social media and then everyone's got an opinion, but as you say, he's a he's a winner, and that's what he's there to do.

Speaker 3

他是来工作的,你知道,我们需要看到更多这样的态度,因为,你知道,一个球员很容易在赛后采访中找借口,详细分析比赛,但他就是生气,就这么简单。

He's there to work, and, you know, we need to see more of that, think, because, you know, it's easy for, a player to go into the post match interview and try and make excuses and dissect the game thoroughly, but he was just fuming, was as simple as that.

Speaker 3

这其实告诉你他的心思在哪里,心态还在。

Which tells you actually where his head is at and the mindset's still there.

展开剩余字幕(还有 480 条)
Speaker 3

他被挤下了榜首,这对特朗普来说是不能接受的。

The fact that he's been knocked off the top spot, you know, it's not good enough for Trump.

Speaker 3

他想马上回到那个位置。

He wants to get back there straight away.

Speaker 2

这是一场胜利,

It's a win that's a

Speaker 1

确实很艰难。

tough Yeah.

Speaker 1

不过,他赢下辛通那场倒是挺开心的。

He enjoyed the win over Sintong, though.

Speaker 1

这是我们第一次看到贾德·特朗普在四分之一决赛获胜后握拳庆祝。

It's the first thing I've ever the first time we've ever seen Judd Trump, you know, give a a raised fist to win in a quarter final match.

Speaker 1

所以那场比赛对他来说显然意义重大,我是说,他最后走到了这里。

So that obviously meant a lot to him that match to sort of I mean, he ended up here.

Speaker 1

我是说,他彻底击败了圣...

I mean, destroyed St.

Speaker 1

汤姆。

Tom.

Speaker 1

这显然是他本周表现最好的一场。

It was obviously his best performance of the week.

Speaker 2

考虑到世界第一的身份等等,这样的比赛可能多了一些额外的看点。

With the world number one thing and all of that, there's maybe a little bit of extra package around a match like that.

Speaker 2

但正如你所说,归根结底,贾德想赢的是决赛。

But as you say, when it comes down to it, it's finals that Judd wants to win.

Speaker 2

我们之前稍微提过,但我们应该多聊聊利亚姆·海菲尔德。

We've touched on it a bit, but we should talk a little bit about Liam Highfield, obviously.

Speaker 2

这是他职业生涯中第一次进入排名赛半决赛。

Well, it's the first semifinal ranking semifinal of his career.

Speaker 2

我之前没意识到这一点。

I didn't realize this.

Speaker 2

首先,他击败了凯伦。

Well, he beat Kyren for a start.

Speaker 2

他赢了赵龙。

He beat Long Zhao.

Speaker 2

他赢了斯坦·穆迪,穆迪自己这次表现也非常好。

He beat Stan Moody, who himself had a very good run.

Speaker 2

最后输给塞尔比,他肯定很失望,亨德利看那场比赛也觉得很遗憾。

So disappointed in the end to lose to Selby, Hendry also was disappointed to have to watch that game.

Speaker 2

不过总的来说,海菲尔德这一周打得非常好,而且他也在职业圈混了一段时间了,对吧?

But still, very, very good week for Highfield, who again is someone that's he's been around for little while, isn't he?

Speaker 2

他早就该有这样的成绩了。

He's overdue something like this.

Speaker 1

你看,我的意思是,如果你想出成绩,那你就得想办法。

Look, look, mean, people look, if you want to you're trying to get results.

Speaker 1

我完全不介意别人用他们自己的方式去争取成绩,毕竟他都打进半决赛了。

I I have no qualms of people playing the way they wanna play to get results, if that's what that's I mean, he's getting to the semifinal.

Speaker 1

他这周的平均出杆时间大概是三十三秒、三十四秒,确实非常慢。

His his I think his average shot time over the week was about thirty three seconds, thirty four seconds, which is which is very slow.

Speaker 2

那确实慢。

That's slow.

Speaker 1

有时候他打完球后,明明已经很明显要打哪颗球了,还绕着球台走来走去,用球杆指着母球的位置。

There was times where he was walking around for position shots, walking around the table as soon as he potted the ball and pointed his tip at the cue where it was obvious where the shots he was he was wanting to play.

Speaker 1

他的走位意图很明显。

It was obvious his positional shots.

Speaker 1

但他还是走来走去,用球杆指着想打的位置。

But he was still walking around, pointing his cue where he wanted the cue.

Speaker 1

我就是觉得,这真不是观众想看的,对吧,

And I just It's not what you wanna watch, is

Speaker 2

亨德利?

it, Hendry?

Speaker 2

这也不是你喜欢看的,但……

It's not what you like to But

Speaker 1

我只是觉得,从长远来看,他这样打对吗?

I just think, for him, is is long term, is that the right way to go?

Speaker 1

他能一直这样打下去吗?

Is that can you keep playing like that?

Speaker 1

因为那需要付出很多努力,而且

Because that's it's it's a lot of effort goes into that, and

Speaker 2

对。

you Yeah.

Speaker 2

你会把自己累垮的

You're gonna weigh yourself

Speaker 1

就像塞尔比那场比赛一样。

of the Selby match.

Speaker 1

塞尔比那场比赛结束时,他们看起来都筋疲力尽了。

They look drained at the end of the Selby match.

Speaker 3

这很有意思。

It's interesting.

Speaker 3

有时候,因为我知道在过去的几个赛季里,利亚姆现在在球桌旁走动得很慢。

It's some point, Because I know that over the past couple of seasons with Liam, he tends to walk very slow around the table now.

Speaker 3

我就在想,他和安东尼·汉密尔顿搭档,看起来效果不错,因为他的排名在往好的方向发展。

And I just wonder, this team up with Anthony Hamilton, it seems to be working well because his rankings going in the right direction.

Speaker 1

我好奇这是不是一种没法继续下去的东西。

I wonder that's something that can't walk on.

Speaker 1

我的意思是,这肯定是有计划的。

I mean, it has to be a plan.

Speaker 1

肯定是有比赛策略的。

It has to be a game plan.

Speaker 1

我记得在世锦赛上他第一轮输给桑托内的时候,我做过评论。

I remember I commented on the world championship when he lost to Santone in the first round.

Speaker 1

我当时没觉得,哇,这家伙打得真慢。

And I and I didn't remember thinking, wow, this guy's slow.

Speaker 1

所以这肯定是这个赛季才有的情况。

So it must be a thing this season.

Speaker 1

因为我之前没看过他比赛,直到半决赛才看到,当时和菲尔一起工作的两三个人,还有另一个评论员都说,对,他确实,你知道,他打得真的很慢。

Because I hadn't seen him play until the semifinal, and two or three of the guys that were working with Phil and some someone else who's commentating said, yeah, he's he's he's really, you know, he's really slow.

Speaker 1

慢。

Slow.

Speaker 1

而且那场半决赛,我的意思是,必须得说,真的很糟糕。

And and that semifinal, mean, have to be I have to be brutal.

Speaker 1

这是我很长时间以来最不想看的一场斯诺克比赛。

It's the least I've enjoyed watching a snooker match in a very long time.

Speaker 1

那场比赛真的不好看。

It was it was not good.

Speaker 1

半决赛真的不好看。

It was not a good watch, the semi final.

Speaker 1

对。

No.

Speaker 1

而且,你知道,结果也证明了这一点,我觉得到比赛结束时,观众都走了一半了。

And and, you know, it bore out that the the so I think half the crowd were gone by the end of it, I think.

Speaker 2

对,所以,是的。

And and So so yeah.

Speaker 1

所以我的意思是,你看,你不能因为人家出成绩就批评人家。

So I mean, again, look, look, you can't criticize someone because they're getting results.

Speaker 1

就像史蒂文说的,他的排名在上升,也打进了半决赛。

As Steven says, he's moving up the rankings, he's got to the semifinal.

Speaker 1

说明有些东西是有效的。

Something's working.

Speaker 1

但从长远来看,对他的打法来说,你不想

But long term, for his game You don't want

Speaker 2

看到他做出任何草率的决定。

to see him take any prove decisions.

Speaker 2

有回报吗?

Dividends?

Speaker 1

我不知道。

I don't know.

Speaker 1

但确实,安东尼和他们一起做的工作,以及他们一起努力的那些,确实在起作用。

But yeah, mean, the work that obviously Anthony's doing with them and the work they're doing together, it's it's it's working.

Speaker 1

我觉得可能

I think probably

Speaker 3

他们能得到反馈,你知道的,利亚姆和安东尼,而且展望未来,他们能回顾这些比赛,看看整个赛季的结果,然后分析,你知道的,利亚姆最好的比赛风格是什么?

they're getting they're gonna be able to get feedback, you know, Liam and Anthony, and looking ahead, they'll be able to look back at these matches and look at the results over the season and analyse, you know, where is Liam's best game at?

Speaker 3

因为他其实是个非常流畅的球员,他打球很快,凭直觉行事,得分能力很强,状态好的时候也是个出色的远台进攻手。

Because he's actually a really fluent player, and he plays the game quickly, he's instinctive, he's a heavy scorer, a fabulous long potter on his day as well.

Speaker 1

对,他远台进攻确实不错。

Yeah, he's a good potter.

Speaker 1

我正想说这个。

Was going say that.

Speaker 1

很棒的远台进攻手。

Great potter.

Speaker 3

但他也在努力打造自己比赛的另一面,你知道的,有点像塞尔比那样,很难被击败。

But then he's trying to sort of create this other side to his game, you know, similar to Selby ways, so hard to beat.

Speaker 3

所以我觉得他是在试着把这种风格融入比赛,真正找到一种适合自己的打法。

So I suppose it's trying to, you know, mould that into a game, trying to find a game really that

Speaker 1

适合的。我们早就看到艾伦这么做了,对吧?

suits the We've long seen Alan do that, didn't we?

Speaker 1

马克·艾伦几年前就这么做过,三四年前他取得那些成功,赢下那么多比赛的时候,我们当时就说,天哪,这比赛不好看,但你没法反驳,因为他一直在拿奖杯。

Mark Alan do it a few years ago, three-four when he had all that success, win all those tournaments and we were saying, my god, it's not a great watch, but you can't argue because he's picking up trophies.

Speaker 1

但后来你往前看,艾伦自己也承认他想试着打快一点,想打得更具攻击性。

But then you get you you forward on, and Al admits that he wants to try and play a bit quicker, but he wants to play more attacking.

Speaker 1

所以,是的。

So I Yeah.

Speaker 1

而且你之前也说过,我觉得这对利亚姆来说长期来看行不通。

And and you were saying that don't it's a lot I don't think it'll work in the long term for Liam.

Speaker 1

不。

No.

Speaker 1

短期内我也不觉得。

I'm not in the short term.

Speaker 1

他的排名在上升。

He's going up the rankings.

Speaker 1

他成绩不错,所以你不能批评他。

He's getting results, so you can't criticize.

Speaker 2

你提到马克·艾伦,你觉得他放慢比赛节奏其实对他不好,因为

You said about Mark Allen that you didn't think it was actually that it was good for him to be taking to be slowing the game down because it

Speaker 1

看起来

looks like

Speaker 2

他并不享受比赛,而且你知道,他对每一杆都施加了太多压力。

he was not enjoying himself and he was just, you know, he was putting too much pressure on every shot.

Speaker 2

我的意思是,基本上,你在大多数情况下都是提倡快速打法的,我觉得。

I mean, basically, you're you're an advocate for fast play in most cases, I think.

Speaker 2

但不仅仅是因为这个,每个人都不一样。

But but not just because the same Everyone's different.

Speaker 1

你不能说每个人都应该打得快,就因为那是我喜欢看的。

I've got you can't say that everyone should play quickly just because of because of that's what I like to watch.

Speaker 1

我的意思是,

I mean,

Speaker 2

我是说,

I mean,

Speaker 1

这不仅仅是我的看法。我觉得对他来说,长期来看,这样打对他没好处。

that's something Beyond I'm just saying for I think for him, perhaps, I I I just don't think it's good for his game long term.

Speaker 3

史蒂文,这也不仅仅是你的看法,因为我还没见过哪个球员打得慢反而打得更好的。

It's not also, Steven, it's not really just an opinion, what you're saying there, because I'm yet to see a player that plays the game better, slower.

Speaker 2

这倒是个观点,对吧?

Think that's a point, isn't it?

Speaker 2

不只是我们想看什么的问题,而是放慢节奏、对每个走位和每一杆都纠结,似乎对谁都没好处。

Not just about what we want to watch, it's that it doesn't seem to really serve anyone to slow the game down and agonise over every positional shot, every part.

Speaker 3

因为没有任何球员在练习时会打得那么慢。

Because no player plays that slow in practice.

Speaker 3

顺便说一句,我不是说利亚姆打得慢,我只是在泛泛而谈。

Not not saying Liam plays slow, by the way, I'm just generalizing it now.

Speaker 3

没有球员在练习时会打得慢。

No player plays slow in practice.

Speaker 3

所以,你知道,这显然是比赛时的压力问题,就像我说的,我还没见过哪个球员打得慢反而更好的。

So, you know, it's obviously a pressure thing when they go into a game and like I say, yet to see a player play better slower.

Speaker 2

所以你想要的是在比赛桌上打得和在自家练习时一模一样,这也就是……

So what you want is to be playing on the on the on the table exactly the same as you would if you were at home, which of

Speaker 3

那当然是你练习的目的,不是吗?

That's course what you're practicing for, isn't it?

Speaker 3

你日复一日地练习那些击球,如果在比赛中却不敢用,那练习还有什么意义?

You're practicing shots day in, day out, and if you're refusing them in a game, what's the point in practice?

Speaker 2

那你为什么要练它呢?

Why would you be practicing it?

Speaker 3

对,没错。

Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2

我想这很容易,这是……

I suppose it's easy It's the

Speaker 3

把练习时的状态带到比赛桌上,是世界上最难的事,但最终,最优秀的球员都能做到。

hardest thing in the world to take your practice game to the match table, but ultimately, that's what the best players do.

Speaker 3

这就是我们大家都在努力做到的。

That's what we're all trying to do.

Speaker 2

就像你说的,你在家里不会拒绝一个进球机会,对吧?

As you say, you're not at home refusing a pot, are you?

Speaker 2

那样的话,练习那种打法就太奇怪了。

That would be it would be strange to practice that.

Speaker 1

就像我说的,回到那一局,那局打了78分钟,当时他领先50多分,却拒绝了一个粉球,试图对马克·塞尔比采取保守策略。

As I said as I said, go back to that frame where he was this this seventy eight minute frame or whatever it was, when he was fifth out of 50 odd lead, refused a pink and tried to shut up shop against Mark Selby.

Speaker 1

我的意思是,对塞尔比采取保守策略,这绝对不是什么好事。

I mean, that's mean, that's I can't ever be a good thing to do, trying to shut up shop against Selby.

Speaker 2

就像我们说的,

As we said

Speaker 3

你都能看到马克坐在座位上,看到有人拒绝进球机会,口水都要流出来了。

You can just see Mark in his seat just watering at the mouth at somebody's refusing past going.

Speaker 3

他特别享受这种局面。

He's well into that.

Speaker 3

他可能挺来劲的。

He probably gets the juices flowing.

Speaker 2

他最喜欢的比赛类型。

His favorite type of game.

Speaker 2

你想跟塞尔比玩他的套路。

You try and play Selby at his own game.

Speaker 2

好吧,除了别的,你最后会打一场很长的半决赛,就像我们那次一样。

Well, among other things, you're going to end up with a very long semi final as we did.

Speaker 2

简单说说穆迪吧。

Quick word on Moody's.

Speaker 2

我们提到过穆迪自己打进了四分之一决赛。

We've mentioned Moody himself got to the quarterfinals.

Speaker 2

穆迪因为他的发型引起了不少关注,那个发型如果你没见过还真难形容,就是那种埃米纳姆风格的漂白金发。

Moody got quite a bit of attention for his haircut, which is well, hard to describe if you haven't seen it, but of Eminem style bleached blonde.

Speaker 2

不知道你怎么看,感觉不像是你会认可的那种风格,亨德利。

Don't know what your opinion didn't seem like the sort of thing you'd necessarily approve of, Hendry.

Speaker 1

嗯,我是说,我这些年也剪过不少发型,你要是翻翻以前的照片就知道了,所以我真没资格批评别人。

Well, I mean, I've had a few haircuts in my time if you look through the archives, so I can't really criticize

Speaker 2

不过那种发型我倒真没试过。

anything Nothing I quite like that, though.

Speaker 1

对。

No.

Speaker 1

其实我以前也染过那种漂白的颜色,而且一开始还留过那种刺猬头。

Well, did I did hit the bleach ball at one point, and I had the spiky haircut in the beginning.

Speaker 2

哦,我记得那个刺猬头。

Oh, I remember the spiky.

Speaker 1

所以嘛。

So yeah.

Speaker 1

所以嘛。

So yeah.

Speaker 1

听我说。

Listen.

Speaker 1

他还年轻。

He's he's young.

Speaker 1

谁在乎呢?

Who cares?

Speaker 1

我的意思是,重要的是在球桌上的表现,谁在乎他头发是什么颜色。

I mean, it's about performing on the table, who who cares what his what color his hair is.

Speaker 1

不过,他之前不是染了粉色的头发吗?

I mean, well, he has a pink hair, didn't he?

Speaker 1

大概两三年前吧。

Like, two, three years ago.

Speaker 2

然后,

And and

Speaker 3

我觉得他……

he's I think

Speaker 1

我觉得穆迪在输掉的那场比赛里态度有问题,我对他不太满意。

I think Moody's got I think he's I wasn't happy with his attitude in the match he lost.

Speaker 1

他输给了海菲尔德。

He lost to Highfield.

Speaker 1

我不知道是不是海菲尔德打球的速度让穆迪感到压力。

I don't know whether the speed that Highfield was playing was was getting to to to moody.

Speaker 1

但每次镜头切到他坐在椅子上时,他的肢体语言都不太好。

But when it every time the camera went to him in his chair, he didn't the body language wasn't great.

Speaker 2

他确实名副其实,英文名字起得挺贴切的。

He lived up to his English name, actually.

Speaker 1

他有点,听着,他有点穆迪那种劲儿。

He's he's got listen, he's got something moody.

Speaker 1

他身上有我喜欢的东西。

He's got something about him that I like.

Speaker 1

他有那种,你知道,他挺狂的,这是你需要的。

He's got that he's, you know, he's cocky, which you need.

Speaker 1

我完全不介意狂,但你还是得意识到,对手也有权按自己的方式打球,关键是你得找到应对的办法。

I I don't mind cocky at all, but you've still gotta realize that the other player's entitled to play the way he wants to play, and it's just about you finding a way to do it.

Speaker 1

但说到底,比赛基本上就是你和球台之间的事,对手在做什么其实没那么重要。

But yeah, it's a it's about just about you and the table, basically, what your opponent's doing.

Speaker 2

对。

Yep.

Speaker 2

而且我觉得,这大概就是慢节奏打法的另一面,就像利亚姆有时候那样。

And I think you probably I suppose that's the flip side of playing slowly, like Liam did at times.

Speaker 2

这样确实能影响到对手的心态。

You you you can get in the opponent's head like that.

Speaker 2

而穆迪看起来是个想取悦观众的人。

And Moody does seem like someone that wants to entertain.

Speaker 2

他想要那种华丽的效果。

He wants the he wants the pizzazz.

Speaker 2

所以也许他得找到一种在沮丧时还能继续打下去的方式。

So maybe he's gotta find a way of playing playing when he's frustrated.

Speaker 2

你之前说过这个。

You said it before.

Speaker 2

要成为赢家,你必须在状态不佳、享受不了比赛的时候也能赢,而不仅仅是在状态最好的时候。

To be a winner, you've got to win when you're not enjoying the game and you're not necessarily feeling it rather than just when you're on top form.

Speaker 1

没错。

Exactly.

Speaker 1

我的意思是,就像杰克·利索夫斯基。

I mean, it's like Jack Lesowski.

Speaker 1

你知道,杰克·利索夫斯基在B级或C级状态下通常赢不了。

You know, say Jack Lesowski need doesn't really win with a b or a c game.

Speaker 1

他要么状态爆棚,要么状态低迷。

He's either flying or he's not.

Speaker 1

要么大丰收,要么颗粒无收。

Feast or famine.

Speaker 1

斯坦·穆迪也不能这样。

And Stan Moody's can't be like that either.

Speaker 1

他必须找到赢球的办法。

He's you you gotta you gotta find ways of winning.

Speaker 3

我希望随着斯坦逐渐成熟,这种情况会有所改善,因为目前他打球时有时看起来像个被宠坏的孩子。

I hope that it'll come with Stan with a bit of maturity because at the minute, at times, he does look like a spoilt child when he's playing.

Speaker 3

但我确实喜欢这一点,因为他身上有一种自大的气质。

But I do like that because it's got that air of cockiness about him.

Speaker 3

我在英格兰公开赛上看过他对阵周跃龙的比赛,我以为他赢了,不,他没有,抱歉,他输了那场比赛。

Watched him in the English Open against Zhou Yu Long and I think he won that no he didn't, sorry, he lost that game.

Speaker 2

是的,他

Yeah he

Speaker 0

输了。

lost it.

Speaker 3

但和你一样,史蒂文,你提到的,他座位上的气氛对我来说非常非常消极。

But similar to yourself, Steven, what you picked up on, the vibes in his seat were just very, very negative for me.

Speaker 3

就像所有事情,每一个可能错失球的原因,其实有时候你就是会失误。

It was like everything, every excuse possible for why he'd missed a ball, it's possible that you can just miss.

Speaker 3

不一定每次都要找借口,但

There doesn't always have to be an excuse for it, but

Speaker 2

我觉得

I think that

Speaker 3

这会随着时间慢慢来的。

will come with time.

Speaker 3

他排名上升得很快,现在我觉得他得重新学习这项运动,你懂我的意思吧。

He sort of shot up the rankings very quickly, and I think now he's having to really learn the game again, if that makes sense.

Speaker 2

他几乎有一种委屈的感觉,觉得还没轮到他。

There's almost the element of being being aggrieved that it's not his turn.

Speaker 2

就像,我知道,我明白你说这项运动的意思,因为就像,这已经

Like, it's I know I know what you mean about this sort of sport because it's like It's out

Speaker 3

如果管理得当的话,就是这样。

thing if it's managed.

Speaker 2

你想要

You wanna be

Speaker 1

高人一等,但又不

superior without

Speaker 2

坐在椅子上。

being in chair.

Speaker 2

没人想坐在那个位置上,对吧?

No one wants to be sat in the seat, do they?

Speaker 2

对。

No.

Speaker 2

当然不想。

Of course not.

Speaker 2

对。

No.

Speaker 1

我刚才也在想,我年轻的时候,就觉得自己在打球。我以前当然很早就转职业了,那时候16岁。

Was just saying myself when I and younger, you just you just think you're playing I used to obviously turn pro very young in those days at 16.

Speaker 1

这很少见。

It hadn't been heard of.

Speaker 1

然后你就在打球,你知道,我在和雷克斯·威廉姆斯打比赛,他当时还在打。

And then you're playing you know, I'm playing against I think it was a match I played against Rex Williams, who was still playing.

Speaker 1

哇。

Wow.

Speaker 1

然后我赢了他。

And I beat him.

Speaker 1

但我在椅子上坐着的时候,心里想,哎呀,真无聊。

And and but I was, like, acting in the chair, oh, this is boring.

Speaker 1

你知道吗?

You know?

Speaker 1

这家伙在干嘛?

What's this guy doing?

Speaker 1

这跟我打的球完全不一样。

This is a different game to I play.

Speaker 1

我居然在新闻发布会上说了这话,那真是完全不该说的。

This is and I actually said it at the press conference, which is completely wrong thing to say.

Speaker 1

那真是有点孩子气。

It was it was bratish.

Speaker 1

就像个被宠坏的孩子。

It was like spoilt brat.

Speaker 1

你知道吗?

Know?

Speaker 1

为什么,你知道,为什么这个老家伙要这样打球,我还想摆球呢?

Why, you know, why is why is this old man playing like this the way when, you I wanna put the balls?

Speaker 1

你得赶紧摆脱这种想法,然后想想这些人能站在这里是有原因的。

And you gotta quickly get you gotta quickly get out of that and and just think these guys are there for a reason.

Speaker 1

他们都是非常厉害的球员。

They're bloody good players.

Speaker 1

你知道,不管他们打球的方式跟你有多不一样,他们依然是伟大的斯诺克选手。

You know, whether they play the game differently to you, they're still great, great snooker players.

Speaker 1

你得想办法打败他们。

You gotta find a way of beating them.

Speaker 3

我觉得斯坦目前做得非常好的一点是,而且这对他肯定会有好处的是,我感觉到他打斯诺克的时候对谁都不客气。

And I think what Stan is doing really well at the minute is and one thing that will certainly bode well for him, is I get the impression he shows nobody respect when he's playing snooker.

Speaker 3

他敢于出手,打自己的球,这是很大的优势,因为你不希望被对手牵着走。但就像我说的,这种自信要适度,不能在场内给人那种不好的感觉。你得有自信和气场,但要以积极的方式展现出来。

He goes for his shots and he plays his own game, which is a great asset to have because you don't want to be playing the guy in the other corner, but like I say, it's got to be managed to a degree where you don't look, you know, you don't give off those vibes in the arena, you know, you have to have that confidence and that aura about you, but do it in a way that is positive for you.

Speaker 1

对,而且他有胆量,他有胆量。

Yeah, and he's got bottle, He's got bottle.

Speaker 1

他在德比战中击败约翰·希金斯的那杆球,是世界级的。

He made the break in this made against John Higgins to beat him in Derby was world class.

Speaker 3

他太棒了。

He's brilliant.

Speaker 1

而且我们心里都清楚,所以他很有胆量。

And inside us, so he's got bottle.

Speaker 1

他只需要试着,你知道,基本上就是稍微冷静一点。

He's just got to try and, you know, just I should just calm down a little bit, basically.

Speaker 2

他是的。

He is.

Speaker 2

在年轻一代球员中。

Of the young players coming through.

Speaker 2

他显然是最有意思的讨论对象之一,因为他确实有那种相当复杂的性格,以及和这项运动之间有点不一样的关系。

He's one of the most interesting to talk about obviously, because he does have this quite complex personality and this relationship with the game, which is a little bit different.

Speaker 2

我们之前聊过一些人,他们只是安静地高效,不是特别突出,但各方面都不错。

We've talked about people who are just quietly efficient and they're not outstanding, good at everything.

Speaker 2

穆迪可不是那种人。

Moody's not that sort of guy.

Speaker 2

他显然会成为斯诺克界的一个有个性的人物,但就像你说的,霍尔沃斯,关键在于你如何引导这种个性。

He's obviously gonna be one of the personalities of snooker, but it's just about, as you say, Hallworth, it's about how you direct that.

Speaker 2

尤其是在看长局比赛、长赛制的锦标赛时,保持镇定真的变得至关重要,我想。

Especially when you're looking at longer matches, longer form tournaments where maintaining composure really does become crucial there, suppose.

Speaker 2

如果你不能真正稳住自己,你是赢不了锦标赛的。

You're not going to win tournaments unless you can really hold it together.

Speaker 2

但挺有意思的。

But interesting.

Speaker 1

哦,对。

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 2

看看穆迪会怎么样,真是让人好奇。

Fascinating to see what happens to Moody's.

Speaker 2

当然,他还很年轻。

He's still very young, of course.

Speaker 2

感觉他比实际年龄大,因为我们谈论他已经很久了。

Again, feels like he's older than he is because we've been talking about him for so long.

Speaker 2

不过,你知道,他还有很多时间可以成长。

But still, you know, he's got a lot of time to develop.

Speaker 0

那么

So

Speaker 2

在其他斯诺克新闻方面,斯蒂芬,你肯定看到了,丁俊晖就你的职业生涯接受了一个有趣的采访。

in other in other snooker news, Stephen, and you will have seen this, Ding gave an interesting interview about your career.

Speaker 2

他觉得他退役有点太早了。

He reckons that he retired a bit too early.

Speaker 2

在我看来,他确实退役得太早了。

In my opinion, he retired too early.

Speaker 2

我们之前聊了不少关于亨德利对比赛的热情时有时无,还有高尔夫什么的。

I mean, we've talked quite a bit about Hendry's appetite for the game coming and going and the golf and all the rest of it.

Speaker 2

但他说,在他职业生涯后期,遇到的很多问题可能跟他的技术有关。

But he says, towards the latter stage of his career, a lot of problems he had may have been related to his technique.

Speaker 2

不是他的心态变差了。

It wasn't his mentality that deteriorated.

Speaker 2

他仍然有能力做到。

He was still capable of doing it.

Speaker 2

只是他的身体不允许他那样做,我也不太清楚。

It was just his body wouldn't allow him to basically, I don't know.

Speaker 2

丁俊晖说,你仍然有那种心态。

Ding is saying that you still had the mentality.

Speaker 2

我是说,人们说你只是没有,你自己也说过,你没有那么大的热情了。嗯,关于……

I mean, people say that you just didn't, you said, yourself have said that you didn't have quite the same appetite Well, for

Speaker 1

我是说,你……

I mean, you're

Speaker 2

你是最了解自己职业生涯后期情况的人,但显然别人也有一些看法。

the person that should know best about what happened in your late career, but obviously things weighed in with some opinions.

Speaker 1

不。

No.

Speaker 1

不。

No.

Speaker 1

他他他就是在拼命赚钱。

He's he's he's banging the money.

Speaker 1

绝对是在拼命赚钱。

Absolutely banging the money.

Speaker 1

我觉得我的技术已经不行了。

My take my technique was gone.

Speaker 1

我得了易普症。

I had the yips.

Speaker 1

没法按照我想要的方式打斯诺克了。

Couldn't play snooker the way I wanted to play.

Speaker 1

我当时都在拒绝击球,因为我知道如果我把某个球放到另一个位置,我就打不了了。

I was refusing shots because I knew if I put a certain ball on another shot, I wouldn't be able to play it.

Speaker 1

所以,是的,我的状态完全不行了。

So, yeah, my game my game was shot.

Speaker 1

所以他说的每句话都完全正确。

So he's he's absolutely 100% right in everything he said.

Speaker 1

确实如此。

Fair enough.

Speaker 1

所以就是,你知道,我打不了,打球对我来说就是折磨,所以我不得不停下来。

So it was I had, you know, I couldn't it was just torture to play, so I had I had to stop.

Speaker 2

我本来期待你们之间能有点争执,但结果一点都没有。

I was looking forward to getting a beef going there, but there's no beef at all.

Speaker 1

没有。

No.

Speaker 1

没有。

No.

Speaker 1

是的,是的。

I I yeah.

Speaker 1

但不幸的是,没有。

And unfortunately, no.

Speaker 1

我很抱歉。

I apologize.

Speaker 1

不会有关于我们分歧的新闻标题。

There's gonna be no headlines for me disagreement thing.

Speaker 1

我百分之百同意他说的,完全正确。

I I 100% agree with what he said is is is banging the money.

Speaker 1

我的意思是,如果我没有那个毛病,我可能现在还在打球。

I mean, if I didn't have the yips, I probably might still be playing now.

Speaker 1

但就是这样,史蒂文,就这一点。

But yeah, that's Steven, one just on

Speaker 3

因为那会……

that, because there'll

Speaker 2

会有很多

be a lot of

Speaker 3

听这个播客的人,他们肯定经常听到“yip”这个词。

people listening to this podcast and they'll have heard the term the yip quite it's quite a lot.

Speaker 3

这么多年了。

Over the years.

Speaker 2

值得稍微深入聊一下。

Well worth getting into a little bit.

Speaker 3

那是什么?

What is that?

Speaker 3

还有,你是怎么得上这个的?

And also, why did you develop it?

Speaker 1

我大概是这样,我是2012年退役的。

I base about so I retired in 2012.

Speaker 1

可能第一次出现大概是在那之前十年。

Probably it probably happened first time about ten years previously.

Speaker 1

可能还要再多一点。

Maybe maybe bit more.

Speaker 1

基本上,我打了一杆。

So basically, I played a shot.

Speaker 1

然后我就是打不出去,就是没打出去。

And I couldn't my my I just couldn't didn't go through it, basically.

Speaker 1

你知道,你击打母球的时候。

You know, you hit you strike the cue ball.

Speaker 1

你的杆头没有穿过去,但就是没穿过去。

Your tip doesn't go through miles, but it just didn't go through it.

Speaker 1

然后我觉得我握杆的时候有点紧,然后有点发抖,我就想,哦,这倒是新鲜。

And I thought I sort of grabbed on the grip of cue and and sort of there was a shudder and I thought, oh, that's that's new.

Speaker 1

我不喜欢这样。

I don't like that.

Speaker 1

以前从来没发生过。

That's never happened before.

Speaker 1

我差不多就把它忘了。

And I sort of forgot about it.

Speaker 1

我继续打球,然后几个月后又发生了一次,但这次是另一种击球。

Played the mind, and then and then it happened again about a few months later, but a different shot.

Speaker 1

但这次是另一种类型的紧张失误。

But it was a different kind of yip.

Speaker 1

这次是减速,我完全在球上垮掉了。

It was a decel where I just completely collapsed on the ball.

Speaker 1

所以我有这种问题,它会以一两种方式出现,而且都是最简单的击球。

So I had this it was it would it would it would come up in one or two ways, and it would be the simplest of shots.

Speaker 1

我的意思是,我现在看着球员们打这些简单的球。

I mean, I I look at now and play players playing these simple shots.

Speaker 1

他们根本不想。

Don't think about it.

Speaker 1

而我,我背上直冒冷汗。

And I and I I get shivers up my spine.

Speaker 1

对我来说,如果我要打那一杆,可能就是一个简单的半颗黑球定杆,然后去接红球。

It's like, for me, if I was playing that shot, it could literally be a half ball black stunning up for a red.

Speaker 1

而且我真的是,到了职业生涯后期,我几乎没法用正确的方式打那一杆。

And I I literally, I I towards the end of the cricket, hard could not play that shot the way the proper way.

Speaker 1

我最后总是把它打得很糟糕,然后离红球的距离比应该的远了两倍。

I would end up butchering it, and I'd be, like, farther away from the red, twice as far away from red as I should have been.

Speaker 3

对,每个人情况都不一样,是吧?

Yeah, It's unique is to everyone, isn't it?

Speaker 3

那你觉得是什么原因导致的?

But what do you think caused that for you?

Speaker 3

你觉得为什么会发生这种情况?

Why do you think that happened?

Speaker 1

我不知道。

I don't know.

Speaker 1

我可能真的需要去做一些严肃的心理治疗,史蒂文,才能搞清楚这个问题。

I I probably need you going to serious therapy, I think, Steven, to, like, get into that.

Speaker 2

对,我们就是在做这个,亨利。

Well, that's what we're doing, Henry.

Speaker 1

但问题是,它确实有点不对劲。

But it but it's dinged right.

Speaker 1

结果就是你的身体不听话,所以我的手臂就落在那里。

It turns out your body lets you down, so my arms land there.

Speaker 1

但一开始是身体上的毛病,然后……

But then then it starts out as a physical sort of ailment, and

Speaker 2

但接着大脑和心理也开始出问题,因为……

But then the brain mental starts to go because

Speaker 1

然后你就留下阴影,留下阴影,然后情况就越来越糟,越来越糟。

then you get scars, then you get scars, and then you just and then it just gets worse and worse and worse.

Speaker 1

你知道,我说2012年那次,我打出单杆147,我在采访里说过好几次,36杆球。

You know, when I say the 2012, when I made that one four seven, you know, I was saying I've said it a few times in interviews, 36 shots.

Speaker 1

我大概只有六杆是真正打好的。

I played about six properly.

Speaker 1

其实我当时只是想随便打打,想办法让母球走位。

The other I thought I was just trying to just get the cue ball bully the cue ball around some way to get position.

Speaker 1

我的意思是,你打低杆的时候,通常会压低杆头去打,但我最后总是打在母球上方大约一厘米的位置。

I mean, what what's happening, you you play a screw shot, and you'd be you'd be always addressing it low to play the screw, but I'd end up hitting the cue ball about a centimeter above.

Speaker 1

因为我怕打滑杆,怕打不好,因为我没打准。

Because I was scared about scared of miscueing because I'm not I'm not hitting it properly.

Speaker 2

就是

Was just

Speaker 3

那种感觉也很糟糕,对吧?

Horrible feeling that as well, isn't it?

Speaker 1

稳定性。

Stability.

Speaker 1

说实话,我不希望任何人经历这种事。

Well, I mean, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Speaker 1

不希望任何人经历。

Wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Speaker 1

而且有意思的是,我现在看邓的比赛,上周他打进半决赛,成绩不错,但我觉得他的技术开始有点拖后腿了。

And and it's funny because I I watched Deng now, and obviously a good result last week into semis, and I think his technique is starting to let him down a little bit.

Speaker 1

我还不至于说那是心理障碍。

I wouldn't go as far as saying it's the yips.

Speaker 1

但你看他出杆前会有那么一下停顿。

But you see he's got that little pause before when he's going to deliver the cue.

Speaker 1

我觉得他的长台进攻有问题。

I think he's long game.

Speaker 1

尤其是发力的时候,他时机掌握得不太好。

He doesn't deal he doesn't time it very well when he's using power, especially.

Speaker 3

很快。

It's quick.

Speaker 3

非常快。

It's very quick.

Speaker 1

非常非常快。

It's very, very quick.

Speaker 1

所以,是的,但我想说丁俊晖在胡说八道,但确实不是,他确实打得很准。

So, yeah, it's But yeah, I'd love to turn around and say Ding's talking nonsense, but no, he's banging the money.

Speaker 2

史蒂文,那现在在表演赛里你还会遇到这种情况吗,还是说这跟真正比赛时的紧张有关?

Could it sort of Would it still happen to you now, like, in an exhibition, Steven, or was it related to actually being in yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2

比赛级别?

Level of competition?

Speaker 1

不,不。

No, no.

Speaker 1

我仍然知道怎么打。

I still know the shots.

Speaker 1

只是不想打。

Just don't wanna play.

Speaker 2

有意思。

Interesting.

Speaker 2

确实很吸引人。

It is fascinating.

Speaker 2

“易普斯”现象真的很神奇。

The yips is a fascinating phenomenon.

Speaker 2

我们在斯诺克和飞镖中也见过,只是表现形式略有不同。

We've seen it in snooker darts in a different, slightly manifests itself differently.

Speaker 2

高尔夫也是,

Golf as

Speaker 1

比如推杆之类的。

well, putting and stuff.

Speaker 2

对,人们常说就是没法松手把飞镖投出去,或者就是身体上做不到。

Yeah, people talk about not being able to let go of the dart or like just physically not being able to do it.

Speaker 2

我觉得这是因为

It is I

Speaker 3

这些运动对技术要求都很高,可以依赖肌肉记忆和那种本能的打球方式。

think because they're all very technically demanding sports, can kind of rely on that just muscle memory, that instinctive way of playing.

Speaker 3

一旦有什么不对劲,和平时不一样,你就会注意到,而且会被放大得很厉害。

And the second something doesn't feel right to what usually would happen, you notice it, it's like blown up out of proportion.

Speaker 3

然后那种心理上的影响,你就会开始想。

Then the psychological impact of that, you start thinking.

Speaker 3

而且,这又回到我们上周提到的,你不能在比赛中想太多,你只需要去做。

And again, goes back to what we mentioned last week in the part, you can't think at this game, you've just got to do.

Speaker 2

对,我觉得你越想,情况就越糟。

Yeah, the more you're thinking, the worse it is, I suppose.

Speaker 2

而且这肯定和重复也有关系。

And it must be something to do with the repetition as well.

Speaker 2

像斯诺克和飞镖,你在职业生涯中要重复做同样的事情成千上万次。

Things like snooker dance, you're doing the same thing in your career thousands and thousands of times.

Speaker 2

所以就像霍尔沃斯说的,如果某件事已经熟练到不用想,那一旦突然有点不对劲,就会特别显眼。

So as Hallworth says, if something's, which means that you don't think about it, so then if suddenly something is off, it's gonna be really glaring, I suppose.

Speaker 2

这真的很有意思,它展示了在运动中,思维和身体是如何协同工作的,这很迷人。

It's it's a very interesting thing, it just shows you that the way the mind and the body work together in in sport is is fascinating.

Speaker 2

就像我们之前说的,你越少让思维介入,效果就越好。

The the less you can get your mind involved, the better, as we've said before.

Speaker 2

我们很高兴请到一位冉冉升起的喜剧新星,Hot Water 的 Green Room 播客主持人,同时也是个超级斯诺克球迷,杰米·哈钦森。

We'd like to be joined by rising comedian star of Hot Water's Green Room podcast and big snooker crucially, snooker fan, Jamie Hutchinson.

Speaker 0

杰米,你最近怎么样?

Jamie, how are doing?

Speaker 0

兄弟,这个很重要。

Important, mate.

Speaker 0

喜剧先放一边。

Forget the comedy.

Speaker 2

欢迎你,杰米。

You're welcome, Jamie.

Speaker 2

咱们说正事。

The business.

Speaker 2

我们之前也请过一些嘉宾,他们说自己是超级斯诺克球迷,结果发现他们其实根本不怎么看。

We have we have had guests in the past who build them as a big snooker fan, and it turns out they're not they don't really follow it at all.

Speaker 2

等他们上播客的时候,已经晚了。

It's been late by the time they're on the podcast.

Speaker 0

我得说,那是在大使馆赛事的年代。

I I would say of the embassy days.

Speaker 2

看吧,史蒂文,我们说的就是这个。

See, that this is what we're talking about, Steven.

Speaker 3

那才是真正的黄金时代。

The proper days.

Speaker 2

亨德利在点头表示赞同。

Hendry's nodding, provingly.

Speaker 1

我是说,那些日子是烟草赞助的时代,本,你知道的,B和H,大使馆。

I mean, those those days are the the the sort of tobacco sponsorship days, Ben, you know, B and H, Embassy.

Speaker 1

就是那个画面。

Just graphic show.

Speaker 1

我是说,人们,对。

I mean, people yeah.

Speaker 1

但那是你刚才说的。

But that but you just said that.

Speaker 1

真是太神奇了。

It's amazing.

Speaker 1

到现在还有人跑来问我,哎,大使馆赛什么时候办啊?

People still come to me and say, oh, when's the embassy on?

Speaker 1

简直难以置信。

It's unbelievable.

Speaker 1

烟草赞助都过去二十年了,还这么深入人心,太不可思议了。

Like, twenty years after tobacco sponsorship is incredible.

Speaker 2

大使馆那笔赞助真是花得太值了。

Embassy really got their money's worth out of that.

Speaker 2

对人们来说,那简直就是金子。

It was gold made for people.

Speaker 2

而且那时候,选手们就在球桌旁边抽烟。

And and there was players were smoking by the table in those days.

Speaker 2

那时候真是……

It was

Speaker 0

那才是真正的运动时代。

That that was that was when it's when the sport was sport.

Speaker 0

你知道,玩骰子的在喝酒,打斯诺克的在抽烟。

You know, the dice players drinking, the snooker players smoking.

Speaker 0

这就是英国运动的精髓。

That's what British sport is all about.

Speaker 0

这就是为什么斯诺克有一种神秘感,因为那些老式俱乐部里全是烟雾缭绕。

That's why snook had such a mystique because, like, the old violence clubs were just covering plumes of smoke.

Speaker 0

你懂吧?

You know?

Speaker 0

你几乎看不清发生了什么。

You could hardly see what was happening.

Speaker 1

你们在喜剧俱乐部表演的时候也一样。

Same for you guys in in in comedy clubs doing gigs.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

当时肯定也是一样的吧?

Must have been exactly the same, was it?

Speaker 0

我是后来才开始的。

I I started after.

Speaker 0

我是在禁烟令之后才去那里的。

I was I I started there way after the smoking ban.

Speaker 2

我记得那时候。

I remember it.

Speaker 2

对。

Right.

Speaker 2

那真是一个挺奇怪的过渡期。

It was it was quite a weird transition.

Speaker 2

你从舞台上望出去,能看到烟雾在灯光里飘着,然后直到回家才发现自己浑身都是烟味。

You'd you'd look out from the stage and you'd see that the smoke, like, hanging in the in the lights, and then you wouldn't realize till you got home that you stank of smoke and everything.

Speaker 2

当时有点担心这会破坏气氛,就像斯蒂芬说的那个核俱乐部一样。

It was a bit sort of there was a feeling that it would ruin the atmosphere, like with a little, Stephen was saying, with the with this nuclear club.

Speaker 2

他们说,如果禁止吸烟,人们就不会再去喜剧俱乐部了。

They're like, if he's banned smoking, then people won't wanna go to the comedy clubs anymore.

Speaker 2

但结果其实还好。

But turns out it it was fine, actually.

Speaker 2

不过,斯蒂芬,你没受烟草广告影响的原因是你太专注于游戏了。

It was but well, the reason you weren't affected by tobacco advertising, Stephen, is you were too much of a you were too focused on the game.

Speaker 2

你太投入了,根本不会被那些东西吸引。

You were too much on the You couldn't have had your head turned by that stuff.

Speaker 1

不过也有几个人享受了免费样品。

And a few people that indulged in the free samples though.

Speaker 1

我敢打赌

I bet

Speaker 3

确实有。

there were, yeah.

Speaker 3

他就是在基地里让人抽烟。

He was just smoking people on the base.

Speaker 2

所以杰米,你记得斯蒂芬,你记得看着斯蒂芬长大,大概就像我们所有人一样吧?

So Jamie, you remember Stephen you remember watching Stephen growing up presumably like we all do?

Speaker 0

哦,是的。

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 0

当然。

Absolutely.

Speaker 0

嗯,世界斯诺克锦标赛,或者我们称之为大使馆。

Well, the the World Snooker Championships or the embassy as we'll we'll refer to it as.

Speaker 2

老使馆。

The old embassy.

Speaker 0

在我们家是常事,尤其是我爷爷,我们就是最大的体育迷家庭,但一点运动能力都没有。

Staple in our in our house, especially my granddad, it's just we're the biggest family of sport fans with no athletic ability between us at all.

Speaker 0

一群胖伪君子,只要犯一个小错误就会被狠狠批评。

A bunch of fat hypocrites call it call it one slight mistake and they get absolutely lambasted.

Speaker 2

看看那个白痴。

Look at that idiot.

Speaker 1

我可以

I can

Speaker 2

做得比那更好。

do better than that.

Speaker 3

沙发专家。

Armchair expert.

Speaker 0

我们看了很多九十年代末、两千年代初的比赛。

We watched a lot of late nineties of the two thousands.

Speaker 0

我是马修·史蒂文斯的超级粉丝。

I was a massive Matthew Stevens fan.

Speaker 2

好的。

Alright.

Speaker 2

所以那场和威廉姆斯的决赛?

So that final with Williams?

Speaker 0

那小子打得真漂亮。

The boy banged looks.

Speaker 0

你知道吗?

You know?

Speaker 0

他就像是斯诺克界的坏小子那种感觉。

He's like a the snookers do bad boy sort of thing.

Speaker 0

本来有可能的。

It could have been.

Speaker 2

对,就是这样。

And just Yeah.

Speaker 1

他和保罗在一起的时候。

Him and Paul together.

Speaker 0

一直想拿世界冠军,但总是差那么一点。

Always flirted with winning the Worlds but never quite got there.

Speaker 0

然后史蒂文显然就是势不可挡。

And then Steven was just relentless, obviously.

Speaker 2

所以九十年代末、两千年代初就是你接触这项运动的时期。

So that so late nineties, early two thousands is your sort of is your introduction to the game.

Speaker 0

对。

That Yeah.

Speaker 0

然后我爷爷当然会给我讲历史,因为他觉得那时候所有新式斯诺克都是胡闹。

And then me obviously, my granddad would give me the the history because he he thought all new snooker was woke nonsense back then.

Speaker 2

那时候就这样了?

Even then?

Speaker 0

他觉得罗尼·奥沙利文是在糟蹋这项运动,是的。

He thought Ronald Sullivan was disparaging the game in Yeah.

Speaker 0

比如九十年代末,因为他不是史蒂夫·戴维斯或雷·里尔顿那种人。

Like, the late nineties because he wasn't Steve Davis or Ray Reardon, for example.

Speaker 2

真是传统啊。

Real tradition there.

Speaker 0

一边看历史,一边看当时所谓的现代选手。

Got the history that's alongside watching the the modern people as it was then.

Speaker 0

我觉得我爷爷觉得弗雷德·戴维斯之后的所有人都毁了斯诺克。

I think my granddad thinks anyone after Fred Davis was ruined Snooker.

Speaker 2

浪费了。

Was wasted.

Speaker 2

那不算真正的斯诺克选手。

That's not a real Snooker player.

Speaker 2

他们毁了这项运动。

They ruined it.

Speaker 2

他们取消了那种97局制决赛。

They got rid of those best of 97 finals.

Speaker 2

那才是真正的比赛。

That was that was the real thing.

Speaker 2

要打五天呢。

Five days of it.

Speaker 1

你打球吗,吉米?

Do you play, Jimmy?

Speaker 2

你打球吗?

Do you play

Speaker 0

还是说

or do

Speaker 2

你上过一些课吗?

you have some lessons?

Speaker 0

我上过一节课。

I've had a lesson.

Speaker 0

我觉得我看到教练的眼神都呆滞了,那感觉就像是在教一只猩猩折纸。

And I think I I I sort of saw in the coaches glaze over eyes that it was trying to teach an orangutan origami.

Speaker 0

对。

Right.

Speaker 0

所以为了保住他的职业尊严,我就很识趣地不再上课了。

So to protect his professional pride, I kindly stepped away from lessons.

Speaker 0

我最高只打过八分。

I just have one eight.

Speaker 0

我的大目标就是能打出二十分的单杆。

I just want my big aim is to get a 20 break.

Speaker 0

我会有过19分和18分的成绩。

I'll have had 19 and eighteens.

Speaker 3

哇。

Wow.

Speaker 3

因为后来你太紧张了。

Because we And then the nerves got the better of you.

Speaker 2

这种情况可能发生。

It can happen.

Speaker 2

那个大的20分。

That big two zero.

Speaker 0

我之前有过,弗雷德。

I've got I'd had before Fred.

Speaker 0

我有过三个红球、三个蓝球和四个弗雷德。

I had three reds, three blues, and four Fred.

Speaker 0

然后我感觉整个莱利都停了下来。

And then I felt the whole of Riley's just come to a standstill.

Speaker 0

比如,那个女服务员都停下不送酒了。

Like, the woman stopped serving drinks.

Speaker 0

每桌都在看我,好像这边2号桌要出个20点似的。

Every table was looking at me like, there could be a 20 on on Table 2 over here.

Speaker 2

有人要

Someone's on

Speaker 0

彻底搞砸了。

absolutely spooned it.

Speaker 2

人们围在桌子旁边,

People people around the tree,

Speaker 1

三个红,三个黑。

three reds, three blacks.

Speaker 1

就是这样。

There you go.

Speaker 0

我知道。

I know.

Speaker 0

是

Is

Speaker 3

每周固定一次,斯诺克练习,像宗教仪式一样?

it a religious weekly thing, snooker practice?

Speaker 0

我们每周五晚上八点在利物浦有一场直播。

So we have a live show in in Liverpool every Friday, 08:00.

Speaker 0

所以四点到六点,我和我的播客搭档会去打几局。

So four while six, we'll go and have a few frames, me and my podcast cohost.

Speaker 2

那些时候你得把二十分以上的球打完。

It's those are those moments when you've gotta be finishing off those twenties.

Speaker 2

史蒂夫,两个史蒂夫都会告诉你,要经常赢局,你得打出二十分,有时甚至三十分。

There's the Steve, both Stevens will tell you to be regularly winning frames, you've gotta be making twenties, even thirties sometimes.

Speaker 1

虽然四十分以上的单杆也有。

Although four twenty breaks.

Speaker 1

没错。

Exactly.

Speaker 0

我们打的标准就是,谁犯规少谁通常就能赢。

The standard we play is whoever makes the fewest fouls is usually gonna win.

Speaker 2

对我来说,斯诺克也差不多是这样。

That's pretty much that snooker works for me as well.

Speaker 2

所以打出20分就很厉害了,就算你只有19分,你也会觉得现在领先很多了。

So a 20 would be devastating even with your 19, you you're coming away thinking I've got a big lead now.

Speaker 0

但如果真到了那天,我家里肯定会开个大派对。

But if it well, the day I get to enter, I'm it's gonna be a really big party in this house.

Speaker 2

我们马上就会听到消息。

We'll hear about it immediately.

Speaker 2

我觉得那家莱利俱乐部的屋顶都会被掀翻。

Would have think the roof will come off that Riley's.

Speaker 1

所以你说,吉米,你显然是在八九十年代开始看球的。

So you said you said, Jimmy, you you obviously started watching during the sort of the the sort of nineties and eighties.

Speaker 1

你印象最深的是哪些比赛?

What what sort of matches stick out in your memory?

Speaker 0

嗯,很明显,我是说,之前提到过2000年之前的决赛,我想是威廉·史蒂文斯,威尔士之战。

Well, obvious I I mean, the the finals were alluded to before 2000, I think it was, William Stevens, the battle of Wales.

Speaker 0

那是一场重要的比赛。

Was a big one.

Speaker 0

我记得史蒂文斯当时好像14比10领先,差不多这样。

Think Stevens was, like, 14 10 up or something like that.

Speaker 0

我当时觉得,这就是我的时刻。

And and I thought this is my moment.

Speaker 0

这就是我的偶像。

This is my boy.

Speaker 1

那确实是

It was

Speaker 2

他最好的机会。

his best ever chance.

Speaker 0

我是说,你和艾伯顿那场著名的比赛。

I mean, your your famous one with Ebden.

Speaker 1

我倒没那么严重。

I'm not as much as that.

Speaker 0

抱歉提起这事。

Sorry to bring up.

Speaker 1

别别别,别说了。

Don't don't much.

Speaker 1

我知道。

I know.

Speaker 1

知道。

Know.

Speaker 1

我知道。

I know.

Speaker 1

关于威廉·史蒂文斯那场,有个好笑的事,他当时14比8领先。

One of things funny thing about the funny thing about the William Stevens one when he was fourteen eight up.

Speaker 1

我觉得威廉对他们做了点手脚,因为他们把更衣室的门开着,显然他们彼此很熟。

I think William's done a job with them because they had the dressing room doors open because obviously they knew each other quite well.
