Welcome back my fellow social workers to the last episode of season three of Social Work Insider and I know this episode is a long overdue.

已经过去两周了。

It's been two weeks.

你们大概在想：哈莱妮去哪儿了？

You're probably like where is Harlani?

但让我给大家补上近况吧。

But let me catch you all up.

大家都知道上期节目里我还在热烈讨论狮子月和我即将到来的生日——因为现在仍在狮子月期间。姐妹们，我在波多黎各度过了一个超棒的假期，但不幸的是回来后（这不是在怪责，-2>怪旅行），你们的女孩我回来时确诊了新冠，整个生日周都在隔离中度过。

As you all know in the last episode I was raving about Leo season and my birthday coming up because we're still in Leo season and y'all I had an amazing vacation in Puerto Rico but unfortunately when I came back and this is not me blaming it on my trip it could have happened at any point your girl came back with COVID and I spent my birthday week with COVID so it really took a toll on my body that even when I end up coming back to society and just really coming back to, you know, really checking in with my clients and checking in with my partners, you know, it really gave me that reminder that I needed to just fully disconnect from social media and creating content and really giving myself grace, especially that I felt that I was like really away from work and business for like, you know, two weeks straight, given that I had COVID and I was on vacation.

但嘿，你们知道，生活本就充满起伏。

But hey, you know, life is full of ups and downs.

这对我来说是个提醒：我们不可能永远保持24/7连轴转的工作状态。

And it was a reminder for me like, hey, we can't always be on that 20 fourseven hustle and grind mentality.

老实说，我最近在幕后一直比较低调。

And I'm not gonna lie y'all because I've been kind of quiet behind the scenes.

事情一直在推进中。

Things have been moving.

I've been getting booked, as you all know Latinx Hispanic Cavetish Month is coming up.

你们的姑娘可忙坏了，我在幕后筹备几件大事，真的超级兴奋。

Your girl is busy and I'm just so excited as I'm working on a couple of other things behind the scenes.

当然还要轻松帮客户搞定职位，助力他们成功营销自己。

And of course helping my clients secure roles with ease and helping them market themselves successfully.

但我想让此刻所有听众都明白：我们每个人都处在人生的不同季节，对吧？

But I just want you all to just really know that it's a reminder for anyone who's listening right now that we are all in seasons, right?

有时事情会偏离预期方向，我们总在自责'事情不该这样''现在本该做到某件事''早该拿到某个职位或薪水'，却很少花时间盘点自己的成就。就像有低谷也会有高峰，有很多我们没给自己机会去认可的情绪巅峰——比如去波多黎各前一周我还在巡回演讲，当时就觉得'老娘真有两把刷子'，实实在在地改变着学生生活，培育着下一代领袖。

Sometimes things will take a different direction or a different course and all we do is tend to blame ourselves of it didn't go this way, I should have been doing this by now, or I should have been getting this job or this salary, but we don't really take a time to really process all of our accomplishments, Just like there's downs, there's a lot of ups, There's a lot of, you know, emotional highs that we don't really give ourselves the grace to really recognize, like, wait a minute, like I did that like literally like the week before I went to Puerto Rico I had a week of speaking engagements and I'm like damn I'm doing the damn thing like you know I'm here like changing lives you know really helping students supporting the next generation of leaders.

正如我在上一期节目中提到的那样，你的进化思维正式升级了。

Like I mentioned in my last episode, your evolved mind officially got an upgrade.

这一切都是为了提升，因为就像我说的，过去四年里——如果到十月份我创业就快满四年了——我一直处于这个社会工作的小圈子里，当然我并没有忘记我的社工同行们。

It's all about elevating because like I said, for the last four years, if I'm almost going to hit four years in business come October, I've just been in this social work bubble and obviously I'm not forgetting about my fellow social workers.

你们都知道，我依然是这个领域的颠覆者和不可忽视的力量，对吧？因为还有很多工作要做。

You all have, I'm still this being a disruptor and a force to be reckoned with in this field, right, because there's still a lot of work to be done.

但我想重新定义公共服务专业人士的整体叙事，明白吗？

But I want to define, you know, the narrative of just public service professionals overall, right?

正如我真正怀有一个愿景和使命，就是要赋能下一代领导者直面挑战，为自己发声，并为新一代变革者铺路，让他们真正质疑现状，开辟自己的道路，运用自己的学位创造他们渴望的成功，对吧？

Like I really have a vision and a mission to just empower the next generation of leaders to confront challenges head on right and really advocate for themselves and really pave the way for new generation of change makers to really question the status quo and carve their own paths right create the success and desire utilizing their own degrees, right?

所以我非常兴奋能真正进入这个新阶段，因为就像我说的，我真心想帮助公共服务专业人士打造有影响力的个人品牌，打破现状，挑战常规，获得更高职位和期望的加薪，走出自己的舒适圈。我特别想强调这点是因为我们人生中都会经历不同的变革阶段，对吧？

So I'm just very excited to be really in this new season because like I said, I really want to help public service professionals create impactful brands, disrupt the status quo, and just challenge norms and just get higher and secure the salary increase they desire right kind of stay out get out of their own bubble and the reason why I really want to highlight this is because we are all in moments in our life going to be in different seasons of change right?

而我们有机会真正评估和反思：这个改变是好的吗？

And there's an opportunity for us to really assess and reflect is this change good?

这个改变是坏的吗？

Is this change bad?

只有你自己才能为此做决定，对吧？

Only you can decide for that for yourself, right?

总会有人试图替你规划人生道路。

There's always going to be someone trying to dictate your path for you.

有时我们并没有真正意识到要去审视那些进展顺利的事情，以及当前生活中缺失的东西——那种成就感。

And sometimes we don't really recognize to audit the things that really went well and the things that are currently missing in our life, That sense of fulfillment.

而对我来说，在过去将近四年里，我显然帮助客户取得了惊人成就，真正颠覆了社会工作行业，帮助社会工作者获得非传统职位，创造他们渴望的成功，对吧？

And I think for me over these last almost four years, obviously I've been getting my clients amazing success and really been disrupting the social work profession to help social workers secure a non traditional roles and just create the success they desire, right?

利用他们的学位，我在此基础上打造了一个品牌。

Utilizing their degree, I've created a brand over this.

我并不是说我会让这一切付诸东流，不去帮助我的社工同行们。

And I'm not saying that's gonna I'm gonna let all of that go to waste and not help my fellow social workers.

但在我当前的认知和这个变革阶段，我知道自己能够成就更伟大的事业，对吧？

But I think in this realization and this season of change that I am in, I know that I can be doing bigger and better things, right?

创造更深远的影响力，对吗？

Creating even bigger impact, right?

颠覆现有体系，革新公共服务行业，没错吧？

Disrupting the force, Disrupting the public service industry, right?

正如你们所知，我合作的对象包括教师、教育工作者和护士。

Because as you all know, you work with teachers, you work with educators, You work with nurses.

这是所有助人行业专业人士之间的协作，明白吗。

It's a collaboration among all professionals, the helping profession, right.

我真心希望能将这一切推向新的高度，对吧。

And I really want to be able to just take things to the next level, right.

我真心希望能够帮助公共服务领域的专业人士开辟自己的道路。

I really want to be able to help just public service professionals carve their own way, right.

我觉得自己正处在这个阶段，深知自己可以做得更多。

And I feel that I'm currently in this season that I know that I can be doing so much more, right.

I'm going to be teaching this fall to master level social work students around social work practice and I'm just so excited because like I said this is just another opportunity to continue giving back to my fellow social workers and really supporting the next generation of leaders and y'all like this is an opportunity for you all to also assess what are the things that really bring you joy in your life what are the things that you wish you could do but maybe are scared of putting yourself out there right.

我依然坚持做那些真正让我害怕的事情——以积极的方式，因为这是成长的唯一途径，也是认清'我确实享受做这件事'的唯一方法。我经常这样告诉正在找工作的客户们。

I continue to do the things that truly scare me right but in a good way because that is the only way that you're going to be able to grow that is the only way that you're going to be able to recognize okay I really enjoy doing this I really you know and this is something that I often tell my clients where they're currently looking for a job.

Create your ideal job description, conduct a career inventory, and assess all your non negotiables the things that truly bring you joy.

不必把自己局限在框架里，即使你是企业家。我由衷期待你们能继续陪伴我，共同开启商业旅程的新篇章。

Don't feel the need to put yourself in a box even if you're an entrepreneur and I'm just so excited for you all to be able to just continue to embark be with me as I embark in the next this next chapter in this journey in my business.
