早在2005年,两兄弟踏上了一场公路旅行,这场旅行不仅拯救了世界,还改变了电视界。

Way back in 2005, two brothers set off on a road trip that would save the world and change television.

Speaker 1

丹尼尔和比利·鲍德温。

Daniel and Billy Baldwin.

Speaker 0

不不,那是另一场公路旅行。

No, no, that's a different road trip.

Speaker 0

十五季,三百二十七集,《邪恶力量》带着观众经历了一场关于家庭、命运和信仰的疯狂旅程,配乐动感十足,还有一辆超酷的车。

For fifteen seasons and three twenty seven episodes, Supernatural took audiences on a wild ride of family, fate, and faith with a rocking soundtrack soundtrack and a seriously cool car.

Speaker 1

但那是过去的事了,波波,现在是现在。

But that was then, Bobo, and this is now.

Speaker 1

没错,这部剧确实已经“完结”了,但我们的旅程还没结束。

And yes, the show has quote unquote ended, but we're not quite done with the journey.

Speaker 0

对,还没结束。

No, we're not.

Speaker 1

所以我们要从头再看一遍,或者对罗伯和我来说,是第一次看。

And that's why we're watching it all over again or for Rob and me for the first time

Speaker 2

没错。

That's right.

Speaker 1

我们要和制作这部剧的各位一起,深入每一集《邪恶力量》。

Diving diving deep into every episode of Supernatural with the fine folks who made it.

Speaker 1

而且我们会带你一起体验这段旅程。

And we're taking you along for the ride.

Speaker 0

不管你愿不愿意。

Whether you like it or not.

Speaker 0

我是罗伯·本尼迪克特。

I'm Rob Benedict.

Speaker 0

我演的是查克·雪利,也就是上帝。

I played Chuck Shirley, aka God.

Speaker 0

剧透了。

Spoiler.

Speaker 0

确实有点剧透。

It is a bit of a spoiler.

Speaker 0

不过,在这里剧透是没问题的。

But hey, spoilers are fair game here.

Speaker 1

好吧。

Fine.

Speaker 1

我是理查德·斯佩特二世,我演的是那个捣蛋鬼,也就是大天使加百列。

And I'm Richard Spate junior, and I played the trickster, also known as the archangel Gabriel.

Speaker 1

我还在里面演了一点洛基的角色。

And I did a little bit of Loki work in there.

Speaker 1

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 0

你知道吗?

You know what?

Speaker 0

我们时间不多了。

We're running out of time.

Speaker 1

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 1

好吧,我们会聊整个系列。

Well, we'll be talking about the entire series.

Speaker 1

所以不管我们说什么,你们已经被提醒过了。

So whatever we say, you've 've been warned.

Speaker 0

所以系好安全带,准备好。

So buckle up and settle in.

Speaker 1

因为,朋友,这就是《邪恶力量》的过去和现在。

Because this, my friend, is Supernatural, then and now.

Speaker 0

大家好。

Hey, everybody.

Speaker 0

我是罗伯·本尼迪克特。

I'm Rob Benedict.

Speaker 1

我是理查德·斯佩特。

I'm Richard Spate.

Speaker 0

我们来聊聊《邪恶力量》第14集。

And we're here to talk about episode 14 of Supernatural.

Speaker 1

罗伯,这是第一季的内容,给在家追剧的朋友们提个醒。

That's in season one, Rob, for those keeping track at home.

Speaker 0

对,我们还在第一季。

Yeah, we're still in season one.

Speaker 0

这一集叫《噩梦》。

This episode is called Nightmare.

Speaker 1

天哪。

Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 1

我已经开始害怕了。

Already, I'm scared.

Speaker 0

我也是。

Me too.

Speaker 0

就在刚才,我就已经怕了。

Even before Just right now, I guess.

Speaker 1

是的,因为我心里不踏实。

Yeah, this is because I'm unsettled.

Speaker 0

对,这一集挺有意思的——罗伯特:这一集。

Yeah, this is an interesting -ROBERT: episode.

Speaker 0

一开始是山姆有了个预兆,对吧。

It begins with Sam has a premonition Right.

Speaker 0

预见到一个人被杀。

Of a man being killed.

Speaker 1

他脑子里又在琢磨什么呢。

Something going on in that noodle of his.

Speaker 0

没错。

That's right.

Speaker 0

但从兄弟俩能看出来的情况看,这似乎不是超自然现象。

But from what the boys can tell, it doesn't seem to be supernatural.

Speaker 1

虽然预兆本身也不算正常。

Although premonitions aren't exactly normal.

Speaker 0

那倒是。

That's true.

Speaker 0

这确实是超自然现象,所以我觉得任何事都可能跟超自然有关。

And this is supernatural, so I would say anything is supernatural.

Speaker 1

他们要是直接排除超自然因素,那简直是把标题都无视了。

For them to dismiss the supernatural fact is to really ignore the title card.

Speaker 0

萨姆和迪恩审问了死者儿子马克斯,但并没起疑心。

Sam and Dean question Max, the son of the murdered man, but don't suspect anything.

Speaker 1

没有啊,他们有什么理由怀疑呢?

No, why would they?

Speaker 1

他还是个孩子。

He's a kid.

Speaker 0

对,他就是个孩子。

Yeah, he's just a kid.

Speaker 0

不过估计也就二十八九岁吧。

Although he's probably about late twenties.

Speaker 0

算了,无所谓了。

Whatever.

Speaker 1

二十多岁也算孩子嘛。

Twenties are kids too.

Speaker 0

不过很快,男孩的叔叔也死了。

However, soon, the boy's uncle dies.

Speaker 0

山姆和迪恩深入调查,发现马克斯一直被他父亲和叔叔虐待。

Sam and Dean dig deeper and find out that Max was being abused by his father and his uncle.

Speaker 1

这真是双重打击,挨了两次揍。

I mean, that's the one two punch of getting punched one and two.

Speaker 0

马克斯的日子过得真够惨的。

Max had had it real rough.

Speaker 0

天哪。

Dude.

Speaker 0

而且那个妈妈其实是继母,她什么都没做。

That the mom was actually a stepmom, and she never did anything.

Speaker 1

继母本身没什么问题,但你知道,她也没怎么帮忙。

Nothing wrong with stepmoms, but if you're you know, she didn't really help out.

Speaker 0

说马克斯心怀怨恨都算是轻的了,对吧?

To say Max had a chip on his shoulder would be an understatement, right?

Speaker 1

没错。

Correct.

Speaker 0

男声:马克斯有超能力,就像山姆一样。

-MAN: Max has abilities, just like Sam.

Speaker 0

意思是说他有,

Meaning he has,

Speaker 1

比如,一头漂亮的头发,还有高得吓人?

like, fantastic hair and is creepily tall?

Speaker 0

对,而且闻起来还很香。

That's right, and smells good.

Speaker 0

但他的能力比山姆的更成熟。

But his are further developed than Sam's.

Speaker 0

他能用意念控制物体。

He can control objects with his mind.

Speaker 0

天哪。

Oh, man.

Speaker 0

罗伯特:他正在用念力杀害那些虐待他的人。

-ROBERT: He's using his telekinesis to murder the people that abused him.

Speaker 0

他的下一个目标是继母。

His next target is his stepmother.

Speaker 1

等一下。

Wait a minute.

Speaker 1

我没想过她会虐待他。

I didn't think she, abused him.

Speaker 0

她只是什么都没做。

She just did nothing.

Speaker 0

她什么都没做。

She did nothing.

Speaker 0

别人干坏事的时候,她就在一旁袖手旁观。

She stood around and did nothing while the others did the bad stuff.

Speaker 1

哇,真的假的。

Oh, wow.

Speaker 0

在跟漂浮的刀和悬空的枪紧张对峙之后,山姆和迪恩成功阻止了继母被杀,但没能救下麦克斯,他结束了自己的生命。

After tense showdowns with floating knives and hovering guns, Sam and Dean are able to prevent the murder of the stepmother, but aren't able to save Max, who takes his own life.

Speaker 1

我其实看到那些漂浮的刀给悬空的枪让路了。

I actually saw the floating knives open up for the hovering guns

Speaker 0

它们怎么样?

How were they?

Speaker 1

在一个节日上。

At a festival.

Speaker 1

很棒。

Great.

Speaker 0

对。

-TOM: Yeah.

Speaker 1

两个都很棒。

Both really good.

Speaker 0

不,我听到了。

No, I heard it.

Speaker 0

我是他们早期作品的忠实粉丝。

I'm I'm a big fan of their older stuff.

Speaker 0

我,我,我……

I I I...

Speaker 0

你看,这一集啊

Look, so this this episode

Speaker 1

哦,天哪。

Oh, man.

Speaker 0

怎么了?

What?

Speaker 0

这一集非常感人。

It's very emotional.

Speaker 1

你看,罗比很认真,因为他开始擤鼻子了。

Look, see Robbie's taking it seriously because he's getting out his nose.

Speaker 0

把鼻子擦掉。

Get the nose out.

Speaker 1

各位,罗比会做笔记,而里奇全靠记忆。

Robbie takes notes, everybody, and Richie just does it from memory.

Speaker 0

这一集里有很多精彩的内容。

There's a lot of great stuff in this episode.

Speaker 1

确实有很多精彩的内容。

So much great stuff.

Speaker 0

这一集里发生的一件事,我觉得大家心照不宣的,就是山姆有了超能力。

So the one thing that happened in this episode that I think is the elephant in the room here is that Sam's got superpowers.

Speaker 1

对,我们之前不知道。

Yeah, we didn't know that.

Speaker 0

不知道。

No.

Speaker 0

他之前有过幻觉和梦境之类的。

I mean, he's had visions and dreams and stuff.

Speaker 1

我记得那些预兆伴随着剧烈的头痛。

I remember them coming with crippling headaches.

Speaker 0

没错。

That's true.

Speaker 0

而现在,他能在事情发生之前就看到。

And right now, he's seen things before they happen.

Speaker 1

而且不是他自己的父母或迪恩,而是别人的家庭。

-DAVID: And not with his own mom or dad or Dean, like Right.

Speaker 1

是别人的家庭。

Somebody else's family.

Speaker 0

不仅如此,我们还发现当他被锁在壁橱里时,他拥有念动力。

Not only that, but we find when he's locked in the closet that he's got telekinesis.

Speaker 0

如果他非常非常生气或难过,他就能把东西移开。

If he gets super, super angry or upset, he can move -ROGER: something out of the way.

Speaker 0

至少他能移动一个大衣柜。

At least he can move an armoire.

Speaker 0

我真希望我在第四季进剧组的时候就知道这件事。

I wish I'd known that when I came into the show in season four.

Speaker 0

我跟你说,下次我搬家的时候,你猜怎么着?

I'll you what, next time I move house, guess what?

Speaker 0

我会打电话叫他们来帮我搬东西。对,没错。

I'm calling over to move my That's true.

Speaker 0

所以,是的,我们就是在那时候发现的。

So, yeah, so that that we find out.

Speaker 0

我觉得这一集里我们发现的这个点,是个挺重要的情节。

I thought that was a big sort of, you know, plot point that we find out in this episode.

Speaker 1

对,那真是太疯狂了。

Yeah, that was crazy.

Speaker 1

不过确实很酷。

Really cool, though.

Speaker 1

这一集真的很棒。

This is a great episode.

Speaker 1

咱们直接进入正题吧。

Let's just get to the meat of this whole thing.

Speaker 1

这集《邪恶力量》真的很棒。

It's a really good episode of Supernatural.

Speaker 0

确实很精彩。

It's terrific.

Speaker 1

这不仅对山姆的角色发展是个好故事,而且关于他那些额外能力或者随便怎么称呼的东西,我们发现了这些。对。

It's not only is it a great story for Sam's character and his development and what's going on with him in terms of this sort of extra level of abilities or whatever you would call it that he has Yeah.

Speaker 1

我们发现了这些。

That we discover.

Speaker 1

而且,剧中的表演也很出色。

But also, just the acting in the show is great.

Speaker 1

扮演麦克斯的那个演员。

-The guy who plays -Max.

Speaker 1

麦克斯演得很好。

-Max is great.

Speaker 0

每一集都挺不错的。

Every episode is It's

Speaker 1

布伦丹·弗莱彻。

Brendan Fletcher.

Speaker 1

我在这儿查了他的名字。

And I looked up his name here.

Speaker 1

他演过……然后那个继母演得也很好。

He played And then the stepmom was great.

Speaker 1

她最后有一场很棒的戏。

She has a great scene at the end

Speaker 0

对,她确实有。

with -She did.

Speaker 1

对着警察哭,而且她身上着火了。

-Crying to the cop, and she's on fire.

Speaker 1

这一集真的很好。

It's a really good episode.

Speaker 0

然后有个特别紧张的桥段,就是迪恩中枪那段。

And then there's the real tense moment where Dean gets shot.

Speaker 1

他们做得真不错。

They did a really good job.

Speaker 1

菲尔演得特别好。

Phil did a really good job.

Speaker 1

编剧也很厉害,把咱们看到的这些元素玩出了花样。

The writers did a really good job kind of playing with what we're seeing.

Speaker 1

我们现在看到的是当下的情况,还是你在预演如果事情没有干预可能会发生的未来?

Are we seeing what's going on in the present, or are you seeing a flash forward to what might happen if something doesn't intercede?

Speaker 0

没错。

Exactly.

Speaker 0

对。

Exactly.

Speaker 1

当时我就觉得我们正看着真实发生的一幕,结果杰森突然中枪了。

And that was one of those moments where I thought we were watching the real moment, and then Jensen got shot.

Speaker 1

我当时就想,哦。

I'm like, Oh.

Speaker 1

哦,太疯狂了。

-Oh, crazy.

Speaker 0

我知道。

I know.

Speaker 0

我知道。

I know.

Speaker 0

而且,再说一次,我知道这部剧拍了十五季。

And, you know, and again, I know this show goes on for fifteen seasons.

Speaker 0

我确定迪恩活到了最后,或者差不多最后。

I know for a fact Dean makes it to the end, or nearly there.

Speaker 1

好吧,大家别在意。

Well, never mind, everybody.

Speaker 1

谢谢你们的收听。

Thank you for listening.

Speaker 1

剧透警告,剧集被毁了,这一季没意义了。

Spoiler alert, show ruined season pointless.

Speaker 0

好吧,我的意思是,我知道这一点,但每次迪恩中枪或者被电击什么的,我还是会吓一跳。

Well, my point is, I know that, and yet every time something happens where, you know, Dean is shot or electrocuted or whatever it is, I freak out.

Speaker 1

你心里咯噔一下。

You die a little inside.

Speaker 0

我会想,天哪,迪恩不能死。

I say I think, Holy crap, Dean can't die.

Speaker 1

所以这就是为什么你后来上播客,把剧透给大家都毁了。

Which is why you then come to the podcast and ruin it for everybody.

Speaker 0

好吧,我没毁掉它。

Well, I didn't ruin it.

Speaker 0

如果你想剪掉那段,你可以剪。

And if you wanna cut that out, you can.

Speaker 1

不。

No.

Speaker 1

我就是……

I just...

Speaker 1

我们不会剪掉的。

We're not gonna cut it out.

Speaker 1

我们不会剪掉的,因为我们不是那种节目。

We're not gonna cut it out because we're not that show.

Speaker 1

我们提醒过大家会有剧透。

We warned the people there'd be spoilers.

Speaker 1

我只是没想到剧透会这么严重。

I just didn't know there'd be this level of spoilers.

Speaker 0

好吧,如果你去IMDB上看《邪恶力量》,你就会知道……

Well, if you go to Supernatural on the IMDB, you'll know...

Speaker 0

你会看到詹森·阿克斯每一集都有出演。

You'll see that Jensen Ackles acts through every episode.

Speaker 1

不是每个人都像你一样能随便上网,有钱人。

Not everybody has access to the web like you, moneybags.

Speaker 0

真的吗?

Really?

Speaker 0

现在上网很贵吗?

Is that expensive now?

Speaker 0

我没意识到那只是精英才能享受的。

I didn't realize that that was just, the elite.

Speaker 1

彼得:随便吧。

-PETER: Whatever.

Speaker 0

给精英准备的东西。

Something for the elite.

Speaker 0

好吧,我有很多问题,我想把它们留给我们今天的嘉宾,因为我大部分问题都是关于导演和拍摄的。

Well, I've got, lots of questions, and I think I'm gonna save them for our guests today because, most of mine are just director and shot related.

Speaker 1

是的,兄弟。

Yeah, man.

Speaker 1

菲尔干得很棒,但他一直都很棒。

I mean, Phil crushed it, but he always does.

Speaker 1

确实,他真的做到了。

Mean, really does.

Speaker 1

最棒的之一。

One of the best.

Speaker 0

他确实做到了。

He does.

Speaker 0

好吧,我觉得,两个大胡子。

Well, so I think, two full beards.

Speaker 1

哦,两个非常浓密的胡子。

Oh, two very full beards.

Speaker 0

我们给这期节目打两个非常浓密的胡子。

We're giving this episode two very full beards.

Speaker 1

顺便说一句,我不知道你有没有注意到,但我修剪了我的胡子。

Which, by the way, I don't know if you noticed, but I trimmed mine.

Speaker 0

哦,我没注意到。

Oh, I didn't.

Speaker 0

嗯,挺大的。

Well, it's big.

Speaker 1

是啊,胡子挺浓密的。

Well It's a big beard.

Speaker 1

之前更浓密。

It was bigger.

Speaker 0

不,现在挺好的。

No, it's nice.

Speaker 1

谢谢。

Thanks.

Speaker 1

挺好的。

It's great.

Speaker 1

总之,两个大胡子。

Anyway, two full beards.

Speaker 1

那么,罗比,我知道你有很多问题。

So, Robbie, know you got a ton of questions.

Speaker 1

你猜怎么着?

Guess what?

Speaker 1

你找对人了,他能回答这些问题。

You got the right guy here to answer them.

Speaker 1

因为我们的嘉宾是Phil Sgriccia。

Because our guest is Phil Sgriccia.

Speaker 0

没错。

That's right.

Speaker 0

Phil执导了《邪恶力量》的45集。

Phil directed 45 episodes of Supernatural.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 1

确实。

Did.

Speaker 1

仅次于Bob Singer,排名第二。

Second most only to Bob Singer.

Speaker 0

对。

Yep.

Speaker 0

他现在当然在《黑袍纠察队》那边。

He now, of course, is on The Boys.

Speaker 1

你知道他执导过一集《战士公主》吗?

Did you know he directed an episode of Warrior Princess?

Speaker 0

你知道吗?

You know what?

Speaker 0

这个我还真不知道。

I actually did not know that.

Speaker 0

你知道吗?

Did you?

Speaker 1

知道,但也不算完全知道。

I did and I didn't.

Speaker 1

好吧。

Okay.

Speaker 2

嗯

Well

Speaker 1

我都不太确定那是什么意思。

I'm not even sure what that means.

Speaker 0

这回答真够含糊的。

That's very noncommittal.

Speaker 1

嗯,感觉我知道,但记不起来了。

Well, feel like I knew it, but I don't remember it.

Speaker 0

好吧,这在法庭上可过不了关。

Well, that that won't pass in a court of law.

Speaker 1

就是答非所问。

Just answer, non answer.

Speaker 0

不过,还是让我们欢迎Phil Sgriccia。

Nevertheless, please welcome Phil Sgriccia.

Speaker 0

今天我们很高兴请到了这一集的导演。

We are pleased to have with us today the director of this episode

Speaker 1

老熟人了。

Returning guest.

Speaker 0

没错。

That's right.

Speaker 0

他是我们播客的常驻嘉宾,

A recurring guest on our podcast, Mr.

Speaker 0

菲尔·斯格里西亚先生。

Phil Sgriccia.

Speaker 2

你答应过这边要给点钱的。

You promised some money on this side

Speaker 0

这个我知道。

this I know.

Speaker 0

我们会让你给的。

We're gonna get you

Speaker 1

我们带了零食。

We brought snacks.

Speaker 1

菲尔,谢谢你回来。

Phil, thanks for coming back.

Speaker 2

谢谢你们邀请我,各位。

Thanks for having me, guys.

Speaker 0

我们真的很喜欢这一集。

We really love this episode.

Speaker 1

对。

-PETER: Yeah.

Speaker 0

所以,很棒的一集。

So -PETER: Great episode.

Speaker 2

对。

-PETER:

Speaker 0

因为你正坐着。

because you're sitting

Speaker 2

没错。

Does Right.

Speaker 2

它有没有胡子?

Does it it have have beards?

Speaker 2

胡子?

Beards?

Speaker 1

两把大胡子。

Two full beards.

Speaker 0

两把大胡子。

Two full beards.

Speaker 0

真的吗?

Really?

Speaker 0

就我个人而言,我觉得里面有些镜头拍得特别好。

Personally, I thought there were some really great shots in it.

Speaker 0

开头有一个镜头,光线变成了那辆车。

There's a shot at the beginning of the light becoming the car.

Speaker 2

对,我当时处于一个我自己都不知道是什么的阶段,那时候我在做导演。

Yeah, I was in my I don't know what phase that was when I'm directing.

Speaker 2

当时就在想,该怎么把场景过渡过去呢?

It was like, How can we transition into things?

Speaker 2

-彼得:但是

-PETER: But

Speaker 0

而且考虑得很周全。

it's well thought out.

Speaker 0

大家也很认可。

It's appreciated.

Speaker 0

你……

You...

Speaker 0

看完之后,你会觉得,哦,原来是这样。

When you watch that, you're like, Oh, okay.

Speaker 0

这质量真不错。

This is quality stuff.

Speaker 0

然后整个爬楼梯那段戏,一路往上冲,我觉得那个动作镜头特别酷。

And then the whole race up the staircase, up the staircase, I thought that was really cool action shot.

Speaker 1

没错。

Absolutely.

Speaker 1

我觉得你……

Well, I think you...

Speaker 1

Phil,你的节目总是很有电影感。

I mean, Phil, your episodes always are cinematic.

Speaker 1

我看过不少 Phil Sgriccia 的作品,不只是因为他在一个很高级的新有线台节目里。

I mean, I've watched a lot of Phil Sgriccia work, and not just that you're on a fancy new, you know, cable show.

Speaker 1

在……

I mean, in the...

Speaker 1

早在《邪恶力量》刚起步那会儿,这种风格就是你的特色了。

Even early, early days, Supernatural, that is your style.

Speaker 1

我挺好奇的,这是你天生就有的电影感,还是因为做了多年剪辑师,特别注重转场效果?

And I'm curious, is that a cinematic style that you just have, or is that from years of being an editor that you appreciate transitions?

Speaker 1

你觉得这种风格的源头是什么?

What what do you think the the origin of that is?

Speaker 2

天哪。

Boy.

Speaker 2

我高中时当过放映员。

I was a projectionist in high school.

Speaker 2

我看了很多电影,不知道是不是那时候就潜移默化,成了我脑子里的底子。

I watched a lot of movies, and I don't know if that sunk in or became part of my background in my head.

Speaker 2

但我觉得我开始更注重视觉了。

But I think I started thinking more visually.

Speaker 2

我一直觉得图像比文字更拿手,可能更自在吧。

I was always better at pictures than words, I guess, more comfortable with it or something.

Speaker 2

大学毕业后,我做了几年摄影师。

Just I was a cameraman for a number of years after college.

Speaker 2

拍了很多纪录片。

I was doing a lot of documentaries.

Speaker 2

但后来剪辑,我彻底爱上了。

But then editing, I fell in love with that.

Speaker 2

我觉得这两方面在我的工作中一直都在发挥作用。

I think both of them come into play all the time in my work.

Speaker 2

所以我尽量让内容有趣一些。

So I try and make it interesting.

Speaker 2

你懂的?

You know?

Speaker 2

就是尽量别用那种最基础的镜头拍法。

You you try not to do the basic shot.

Speaker 2

你得在故事里塞进点有分量的东西。

You try and put something that means something within the story.

Speaker 2

说到底,还是得看故事或者人物来推动。

It's always story driven or character driven.

Speaker 2

有时候你费尽心思搞了个很炫的镜头,结果被上面给剪掉了,那感觉真是心都碎了。

There's been a couple times when you do some fancy shot, and then it gets cut out by the powers that be, and you're like, oh, dagger in my heart.

Speaker 2

但既然它对剧情没帮助,那就只能翻篇儿继续往下走。

But it didn't help story, so you move on.

Speaker 1

顺便说一句,给在家听的朋友们提个醒,有时候对我而言,那些掌握生杀大权的人就是菲尔。

By the way, just for the people listening at home, sometimes the power that be for me was Phil.

Speaker 1

把我精心设计的镜头剪掉。

Cutting out cutting out my shot.

Speaker 2

我从辛格先生、克里普克先生和曼纳斯先生那里学到一点:如果某个镜头对故事没有帮助,那它就不该留下来。

Well, you know, I I learned from mister Singer and mister Kripke and mister Manners that if it wasn't helping the story, you know, it's not worthy of staying in.

Speaker 2

看来对待新人就得狠心一点了。

You gotta be, you know, cruel to the kids, I guess.

Speaker 1

那当然。

For sure.

Speaker 0

你大学学的什么专业?

What did you study in college?

Speaker 2

电视、电影和广播。

Television, film, radio.

Speaker 2

我在中央密歇根大学读的。

I was at Central Michigan

Speaker 0

哦,是的。

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 2

七十年代中期。

In the mid seventies.

Speaker 0

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 2

那时候挺早的。

It's how old.

Speaker 2

然后呢,我最后成了班里的第一名,还管理了一家电视台。

And, yeah, I ended up top of the class, and I ran a TV station.

Speaker 0

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 2

是大学里的一个有线电视台。

A cable TV station at the college.

Speaker 2

我是负责运营的执行制片人。

I was the executive producer guy that ran it.

Speaker 2

太棒了。

It's awesome.

Speaker 2

对。

Year.

Speaker 2

我就是……你知道,在

I just You knew at an

Speaker 0

在很小的时候你就知道这是你想走的方向?

at an early age this is the direction you wanted to go?

Speaker 2

我其实在高中就运营过一个有线电视台。

I actually ran a cable station in high school.

Speaker 0

有点小

Was a little

Speaker 2

密歇根北部的一个小学校。

tiny school in Northern Michigan.

Speaker 2

我的……

My...

Speaker 2

这全靠老师们。

It was all about teachers.

Speaker 2

我的英语老师杰瑞,他刚去世,是我的导师。他在清洁工的储藏室里拆了一面墙,装上了斜玻璃,还从电台弄来一个旧调音台,我们高中就开始做广播了。

My English teacher, Jerry who just passed away, was a mentor, and he kicked out a wall in a janitor's closet and put in the slanted glass and got an old mixing board from a radio station, and we started doing radio in high school.

Speaker 1

哇。

Wow.

Speaker 1

太棒了。

It's awesome.

Speaker 2

等到我快毕业的时候,我们已经升级到有线电视了,我最早剪辑的广告就是用半英寸黑白开盘录像带做的。

And then by the time I was, ready to graduate, we had shifted up to cable TV, and I actually edited my first commercials on half inch black and white reel to reel videotape.

Speaker 2

哇。

Wow.

Speaker 2

我们有两台机器,所以我意识到你……

We had two machines, so I realized you re...

Speaker 2

录完所有素材,然后播放,再在第二台机器上暂停。

Recorded all your footage, and then you played back, and then you paused on the second machine.

Speaker 2

你录好那段,然后暂停,换到下一个镜头,再按录制,它们就会接在一起。

You recorded that, and then you paused it, went to the next shot, and then hit record again, and they would bind together.

Speaker 2

所以我很小就明白了剪辑是怎么回事。

So that's how I figured out how editing works very young.

Speaker 2

还有就是在那个小电影院里,看放映员放电影。

And then also watching the movies at the projectionist in this little theater.

Speaker 2

单屏的。

Single screen.

Speaker 2

我每二十分钟就得换一次胶片盘。

I had to change every twenty minutes, you know, the reels.

Speaker 2

那个电影院的老板,现在还是他在经营。

And the guy who owned the theater still owns it today.

Speaker 2

他也是个学校老师,所以我真的欠了好几位老师很多。

He was a school teacher too, so I owe a lot to a couple of school teachers.

Speaker 1

太棒了。

That's awesome.

Speaker 1

这

It's

Speaker 0

太棒了。

amazing.

Speaker 1

而且你来自密歇根。

And you're from Michigan.

Speaker 1

所以那...

So that...

Speaker 1

所以这个节目...

So so the show...

Speaker 1

这一集

This episode

Speaker 0

这一集的故事发生在密歇根。

This episode takes place in Michigan.

Speaker 2

不过这一集有个大漏洞,如果你在看...

There's a big hole, though, in this one, if you're watching it on...

Speaker 2

因为音乐版权的问题。

You know, because of the music rights thing.

Speaker 2

这集里有两首鲍勃·西格的歌特别好听,但没放出来。

There were two beautiful Bob Seger songs in this show that were not

Speaker 1

哦,是因为奈飞的原因。

Oh, because of the Netflix

Speaker 2

就是因为奈飞那边的事。

Because the Netflix thing.

Speaker 0

嗯,所以我们没听到那些歌。

Well, didn't so we didn't we didn't hear those.

Speaker 2

有两首,一首是《Two Plus Two》,是那个家伙开车进来时放的,还有一首是鲍勃·西格早期的一首歌,叫《Lucifer》。

It was, two plus two was the guy driving in, and then a song called Lucifer that Bob Seeker did early on.

Speaker 2

这可比银弹乐队那些早多了。

This is way before Silver Bullet Band and all that.

Speaker 2

西格一直是大家毕业舞会或者什么场合都会看到的那个人。

Seeger was always the guy that everybody saw at their graduation prom dance or whatever.

Speaker 2

他在六十年代和七十年代初就是那个……

You know, he was that guy in the in the sixties and in the early seventies that...

Speaker 2

如果你在底特律或者底特律附近,你总能在人群里看到鲍勃·西格,或者是特德·纽杰特、汉博伊·杜克斯这类人。

And if you were in Detroit, around Detroit, you always, you know, somehow saw Bob Seeger in the herd, or Ted Nugent, Hamboy Dukes, that sort of thing.

Speaker 1

所以

So

Speaker 0

听说你还让你妹妹寄马克杯和棒球帽之类的东西来布置场景。

So rumor has it that you had your sister send in mugs and baseball caps and things to decorate the set.

Speaker 2

真的吗?

Is that true?

Speaker 2

我妹妹伊芙,也就是伊薇,给我发了一堆东西。

My younger sister, Ev, Evie, she sent me a bunch of stuff.

Speaker 2

因为我说既然我们要去萨吉诺,那就……

Because I said if we're gonna make it Saginaw, let's...

Speaker 2

杰里·瓦内克是威斯康星人,是个地道的奶酪脑袋,我们俩相处得特别好。

And Jerry Wanek, you know, being a Wisco boy for a cheese head from Wisconsin, he and I get along really well.

Speaker 2

威斯康星。

Wisco.

Speaker 2

我该知道的。

I should know.

Speaker 1

我花了一会儿才

It took me a hot second to

Speaker 2

反应过来是威斯康星。

pick up Wisco.

Speaker 2

威斯康星。

Wisco.

Speaker 2

但杰瑞是中西部人,我也是,还有克里普克,我们都挺喜欢那些地方,还有埃斯卡纳巴汽车旅馆,以及那里的一切。

But, you know, with Jerry being Midwesterner, me being the same and and Kripke, we all kinda dive into those places and the Escanaba Motel and everything about it.

Speaker 2

埃斯卡纳巴是密歇根上半岛的一个城市。

Escanaba is a city in the Upper Peninsula Of Michigan.

Speaker 2

所以你就想尽量用一些小彩蛋来填充它,我觉得,主要还是为了我自己。

And so you try and populate it all with stuff that just is little Easter eggs for myself, I guess, more than anything.

Speaker 1

不是。

No.

Speaker 1

我觉得是面向所有人的。

I think it's for everybody.

Speaker 1

我觉得这也是大家重刷这部剧时觉得它特别有意思的原因。

I think that's what makes the show fascinating for people who rewatch it.

Speaker 2

你知道的

You know

Speaker 1

我的意思是什么?

what I mean?

Speaker 1

因为可能第一次看的时候,大家注意不到这些细节。

Because it might not be something people pick up on the first viewing.

Speaker 1

得等到第二遍、第三遍看的时候,你才会开始发现那些层层叠叠的细节。这真的是我以前没真正明白的,直到我站到另一边才意识到杰瑞埋得有多深,你们做得有多深。

It's the second viewing, the third viewing, and you start to see the layers of things, which is really something that I didn't truly understand until I got on the other side and realized how deep Jerry goes, how deep you guys go.

Speaker 1

还有每个人,比如罗宾·普罗普斯会说,嘿,这个来自第三季。

And everybody, Robin Propps will bring in like, Hey, this is from season three.

Speaker 1

在这里就说得通了。

It makes sense here.

Speaker 1

会有一些有趣的事情发生。

You know, there'll be some interesting things that happen.

Speaker 1

我觉得这种实时整理历史的方式真的很酷。

That kind of curating the history in real time, I think, is really cool.

Speaker 1

你懂吗?

Know?

Speaker 2

我觉得这……

I think it's...

Speaker 2

有一部分是我们很高兴能把一些东西放在过去的人面前。

Part of it is our glee at putting something in past people

Speaker 2

希望如此。

Hopefully.

Speaker 2

也许他们能发现,也许不能。

Or maybe they catch it, maybe they don't.

Speaker 2

不过现在嘛,你可以一帧一帧地看,什么都能看清楚,所以情况有点不一样了。

Again, nowadays, you can go frame by frame and look at everything, so it's a little different.

Speaker 2

但那时候我们还在用胶片拍摄,就有点像,看看我们能加点什么料进去。

But, you know, we were shooting on film still then, and, it was just kinda like, let's see what we can do to put some extra.

Speaker 2

因为故事背景设定在萨吉诺,所以就有那种感觉,你会想,好吧。

Because it's supposed to take place in Saginaw, it was kinda one of those things where you you kinda like, alright.

Speaker 2

还能往里面放点什么呢?

What else can we put in here?

Speaker 2

比如咖啡杯就挺合理的,还有那个戴帽子的人,虽然帽子有点小。

Like, coffee cups made sense, the guy wearing the hat, even though the hat was a little small.

Speaker 2

那也说得通。

It made sense.

Speaker 1

那个戴帽子的人在哪儿?

Where was that guy with the hat?

Speaker 2

他们是在街上采访那个人的。

They they interview the guy out, on the street.

Speaker 1

哦,对。

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 2

他戴着一顶橙色的帽子,那是在密歇根北部的一个小镇。

And he's got this orange hat in it, and it's a town in Northern Michigan.

Speaker 1

他是邻居,对吧?

-He's the neighbor, right?

Speaker 2

他是邻居。

He's the neighbor.

Speaker 1

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 1

这里有一些冷知识。

Here's some trivia.

Speaker 1

准备好听冷知识了吗?

You ready for some trivia?

Speaker 1

好的。

-Okay.

Speaker 1

演员弗雷德·基廷。

Actor's Fred Keating.

Speaker 1

弗雷德·基廷是亚历克斯·卡尔弗特的……

And Fred Keating is Alex Calvert's...

Speaker 1

杰克。

Jack.

Speaker 1

杰克。

Jack.

Speaker 1

杰克的祖父。

Jack's grandfather.

Speaker 1

弗雷德·基廷饰演——科特尼:妈妈的父亲。

Fred Keating played -COURTNEY: the mom's father.

Speaker 1

比如,我们曾去过……

Like, went to We'd

Speaker 0

去见杰克的祖父母。

go meet Jack's grandparents.

Speaker 0

他是祖父。

-He's the grandfather.

Speaker 0

对,他是那个教父。

-Yeah, he's the godmess.

Speaker 0

他后来回来了,

He comes back in

Speaker 1

在第十四季左右。

season In season fourteen or something.

Speaker 0

哇。

-Wow.

Speaker 2

从第一季就开始了。

-From season one.

Speaker 0

哇。

-Wow.

Speaker 0

真不可思议。

Crazy.

Speaker 1

因为我当时是因为我导演的——哇。

Because I was because I directed -Wow.

Speaker 1

我导演的。

Directed it.

Speaker 1

哇。

-Wow.

Speaker 1

我当时就坐在那儿看。

I That's was sitting there watching it.

Speaker 1

我就想,那看起来像……我抬头一看,心想,那是弗雷德。

I'm like, That looks like And I looked up, I'm like, That's Fred.

Speaker 0

那是弗雷德。

That's Fred.

Speaker 0

哇。

Wow.

Speaker 0

他就只出现在那一集——罗德尼:是的。

He's just in that one -RODNEY: Yeah.

Speaker 2

就一个镜头。

Just one scene.

Speaker 0

哇。

Wow.

Speaker 0

那萨吉诺在哪儿?

And where is Saginaw?

Speaker 0

我举起手来。

I'm holding up my hand.

Speaker 2

罗德尼:就在这儿,

-RODNEY: Right here in

Speaker 0

哦,就在大拇指上。

the Oh, right on the thumb.

Speaker 2

那儿是萨吉诺湾,

There's Saginaw Bay,

Speaker 0

也就是

which

Speaker 1

是

is

Speaker 0

就在那下面。

Down there.

Speaker 2

萨吉诺、弗林特、米德兰是陶氏化学总部所在地。

Saginaw, Flint, Midland is where Dow Chemical has their headquarters.

Speaker 2

好的。

-Okay.

Speaker 2

我大学时在那里实习,在视频部门。

-I interned there in college in their video department.

Speaker 2

是的,他们确实有个视频部门。

Yes, they have a video department.

Speaker 1

那挺好的。

That was good.

Speaker 1

问你个问题,说到电影引用什么的。

Question for you, talking about cinema references and whatnot.

Speaker 1

剧本里有一句台词,说他是能弯曲勺子的超能力者。

There's a line in the script, he's a spoonbender.

Speaker 1

我猜这是《黑客帝国》里的梗吧?

I assume that's a Matrix reference?

Speaker 1

是不是这个意思

I mean, is that what

Speaker 2

哦,这个是……

this Oh, this is...

Speaker 2

不,我不这么认为。

No, I don't think so.

Speaker 2

我觉得只是……

I think it's just...

Speaker 2

那个勺子弯曲的桥段有点像杂耍表演,你懂吧?

The spoonbender was kind of like a sideshow thing, you know?

Speaker 2

我自己倒没觉得它像《黑客帝国》。

I I didn't take it as Matrix myself.

Speaker 2

我就把它当成那种在嘉年华上能弯曲勺子的孩子,或者像伟大的克雷斯金那样的魔术师之类的。

I just took it as, you know, the kid at the carnival, you know, that could bend the spoons or the great Kreskin or something like that.

Speaker 1

明白了。

Gotcha.

Speaker 1

就是那个噱头而已。

Sort of just -Just that gag.

Speaker 2

对,就只是那个噱头。

Was just that gag.

Speaker 2

其实跟《黑客帝国》没什么关系。

It wasn't really the Matrix thing.

Speaker 0

对,听起来这像是编剧的问题。

Yeah, sounds like that might be a writer question.

Speaker 0

不过我们之前没聊过这个,但这集里他们穿成了神父的样子,我在好多回放视频里都见过,这个设定挺有意思的。

But, we didn't talk about this, but this is the episode where they're dressed as priests, which I've seen on lots of, like, playback videos, and, you know, it's a funny setup.

Speaker 0

他们有个想法,然后门就开了。

You know, they have this idea, and then the doors open.

Speaker 0

他们穿着神父的服装站在那里。

There they are in their priests' outfits.

Speaker 0

我心里想,哦,就是这一集。

I'm like, Oh, this is the one.

Speaker 0

就是那一集。

This is that one.

Speaker 0

有个花絮视频里,他们没穿袖子,还自称是奇普代尔斯舞团的舞者。

There's an Outtake video where they're sleeveless and introduce themselves as Chippendales dancers.

Speaker 0

这背后有什么故事?

What's the story behind that?

Speaker 2

我一直很惊讶,我们居然真的能跟那两个人合作完成剧集。

I was always amazed that we actually got episodes done with those two.

Speaker 1

多想想

Think a lot

Speaker 2

很多人都会知道这是怎么运作的。

of people are gonna know how that works.

Speaker 2

有意思的地方在于,你不用去打断他们。

The thing that's fun is that you don't cut.

Speaker 2

你就让他们自由发挥就好。

You just let them have their moments.

Speaker 2

对。

Yes.

Speaker 2

你懂的?

You know?

Speaker 2

因为如果你剪掉那些生气的片段,大家就会觉得‘得赶紧继续干活’。

Because if you cut and get angry, it's like, We gotta get going.

Speaker 2

这样能让整个剧组的心情保持更好。

It just keeps the crew in a better mood.

Speaker 2

我觉得这能让大家保持干劲,因为每个人都玩得很开心,脸上都带着笑容。

I feel like it keeps you moving because it's like everybody's having fun and everybody's got a smile on their face.

Speaker 2

所以杰瑞德和詹森总是随时准备好一起闹着玩。

So those two, Jared and Jensen, were always ready for silliness.

Speaker 2

而且他们热得不行,就要求……

And they would get so hot that they asked...

Speaker 2

每次穿外套的时候,他们都要求穿无袖的。

Anytime they're wearing an outer coat, they ask for sleeveless.

Speaker 2

哦。

Oh.

Speaker 2

因为他们太热了。

Because they're hot.

Speaker 1

是性感的那种热,还是天气的热?

Sexy hot or warm hot?

Speaker 0

我觉得是天气的热。

Warm hot, I think.

Speaker 0

还是两者都有?

Both?

Speaker 2

那你得去问他们本人了。

You'd have to ask ask them.

Speaker 2

不过他们确实做得比……

But they they do it more than...

Speaker 2

这可不光是神父的着装问题。

It's not just the priest's outfit.

Speaker 2

如果你……

If you...

Speaker 2

要是他们把外套脱了,里面其实也没袖子。

If they took off their coats, it would be no sleeves underneath.

Speaker 2

而且……

And it...

Speaker 2

尤其是跟杰瑞德在一起的时候。

Especially with Jared.

Speaker 2

他是个……

He's he's a

Speaker 0

他穿毛衣。

He's a sweater.

Speaker 2

他就像个桑拿房。

He's a he's a sauna.

Speaker 2

那小子简直是个移动桑拿房。

He's a sauna, that boy.

Speaker 2

所以我知道有几次……

So I know there's a couple times when...

Speaker 2

我记得好像还有一次他们打算不穿裤子进来,不过后来我们也就没再提这茬了。

I think there was even one where they were gonna come in without any pants on, but I think we kinda moved on.

Speaker 0

好多失望的粉丝。

A lot of disappointed fans.

Speaker 2

没穿裤子的神父。

Priests without pants.

Speaker 2

对。

Yes.

Speaker 1

好多失望的罗布·本尼迪克特。

A lot of disappointed guys named Rob Benedict.

Speaker 1

新专辑。

New album.

Speaker 0

等等。

Wait.

Speaker 0

所以那个……

So then that...

Speaker 0

那对所有人来说都是个惊喜吗?

Was that a surprise to everybody?

Speaker 0

他们打开门,门一开。

They open it up, the door opens up.

Speaker 2

你一进去,就像……

I mean, once you go through it, you know, it's like...

Speaker 2

我知道这出现在花絮里。

There's a I know it's in the gag reel.

Speaker 2

所以

So

Speaker 0

所以那个片段被收进了那一季的幕后花絮里。

So it's in the gag reel for that season.

Speaker 1

我觉得每个……

I think that's been in the gag reel for every...

Speaker 1

都在漫展上放得特别多。

I mean, that plays a lot at conventions.

Speaker 0

确实如此。

It does.

Speaker 0

确实能播。

It does play.

Speaker 0

那个镜头放得挺多的。

That shot plays a lot.

Speaker 2

而且那时候挺有意思的,因为我们总算不用一直演那些假装成FBI探员的戏码了。

And and back then, it was fun because we kinda got away from being other things than FBI agents faking it out.

Speaker 2

那是第一年嘛,所以所有这些都挺新鲜,演起来也很有趣。

And so this was year one, so all that stuff was fairly new and fun to play.

Speaker 2

哦,就是……

Oh, it's...

Speaker 2

如果他们扮演神父呢?

What if they're priests?

Speaker 2

如果他们扮演水管工之类的呢?

What if they're, you know, plumbers and, you know, that sort of thing?

Speaker 1

我特别喜欢那种电视剪辑的紧凑感,大家都很热情。

I do love just because of the truncated TV ness of it all, how welcoming people are.

Speaker 1

比如,你好。

Like, hello.

Speaker 1

我们是镇上新来的两位神父。

We're two new priests in town.

Speaker 1

那快进来吧。

Well, get on in here.

Speaker 2

这里是密歇根。

It's Michigan.

Speaker 2

抱歉。

Sorry.

Speaker 0

我能自己上楼去参观一下楼上吗?

Can I go upstairs by myself and peruse your upstairs?

Speaker 1

当然可以啊,神父。

You darn tootin' you can, father.

Speaker 2

走吧。

Come on.

Speaker 2

他得带着那个激光小玩意儿去洗手间。

He had to go to the restroom with laser gizmo.

Speaker 0

我刚才在想,谁家的……

I was just wondering, who has...

Speaker 0

唯一的卫生间在楼上?

Their only bathroom is upstairs?

Speaker 1

哦,不是每个人都住在有那种设施的城堡里。

Oh, not everybody lives in a in a castle with a

Speaker 2

大人。

sire.

Speaker 2

不是所有人都像你一样有五个浴室,好吗。

Not not all of us have five bathrooms wrong.

Speaker 1

天哪。

Jeez Louise.

Speaker 1

每人一个浴室。

A bathroom for every person.

Speaker 1

这就是他的座右铭。

That's his motto.

Speaker 1

还有网络。

And Internet.

Speaker 1

我的天。

Good lord.

Speaker 1

家里几乎每个房间都有网络。

Internet Internet in almost every room in your home.

Speaker 1

说真的,你过的完全是另一种生活。

Literally, you live a different life.

Speaker 0

先别急,听我说。

Just hold that thought.

Speaker 0

我们马上回来。

We're coming right back.

Speaker 0

Hi, everybody.

If you're like me, it's...

Speaker 0

衣服实在太多了。

I've got too many clothes.

Speaker 0

真的没有地方放了。

No.

Speaker 0

我的问题是,我对象衣服太多,小衣柜根本装不下,所以我们老得想办法清理衣柜,腾出地方放别的东西。

My problem is I'm with someone who has too many clothes for a small closet, so we're always looking for ways to thin out our closet to make for room for other things.

感谢大家支持超自然现象,无论过去还是现在。

Thank you for supporting Supernatural then and now.

Speaker 0

现在回到节目正题。

And now back to the show.

Speaker 1

你提到他随身带着的那个玩意儿。

You mentioned that the the gizmo he carries.

Speaker 1

那个玩意儿,我记不清之前或之后有没有见过。

That gizmo, I don't remember seeing that gizmo before or after.

Speaker 2

那是什么?

What is that?

Speaker 2

我觉得Kripke当时是……

I think Kripke was...

Speaker 2

我觉得我们所有人都想试试看。

I think all of us were like, let's try it.

Speaker 2

然后一旦它……

And then once it once it...

Speaker 2

道具组的人也都很支持……

Like, and the prop folks were all cool with...

Speaker 2

这肯定会很棒。

This is gonna be so great.

Speaker 2

然后我们拍了那些交叉的绿色东西。

And then we had the crossing green things.

Speaker 2

然后Kripke看了样片。

And and Kripke looked at dailies.

Speaker 2

他说,哦,我们再也不这么干了。

He goes, oh, we're never doing that again.

Speaker 2

哥们,我觉得……

Dude, I think...

Speaker 2

我们大家都觉得,我们的道具更偏向传统实物。

And all of us were kinda like, our guys are more analog.

Speaker 2

不是那种数字化的。

They're not digital.

Speaker 1

而且看起来真的……

And it looked it looked so...

Speaker 1

我不确定那些激光是真的还是假的。

I mean, I don't know if those lasers are real or fake.

Speaker 2

那是

That was

Speaker 1

全都是真的。

all real.

Speaker 1

但它们看起来像是假的。

But they looked they looked fake.

Speaker 1

就像是真的,真到有点离谱。

You know, like, were real to the point of being Right.

Speaker 1

太离谱了。

Ridiculous.

Speaker 2

而且,嗯,当时要么是穿过它们,要么是直走。

And, well, it was one of those crossing them or going straight.

Speaker 2

我说,咱们穿过它们吧。

And I said, let's cross them.

Speaker 2

至少那样能让你感觉到它在穿过图案。

At least that gives you a sense that it's going across the pattern.

Speaker 2

但那样都行得通。

But that all worked.

Speaker 2

那是一个可行的……

That was a working...

Speaker 2

那上面的视频屏幕是实时的,而且还有……

That video screen on it was live, and there was

Speaker 0

你知道……

you know...

Speaker 0

他当时希望找到什么呢?

What what was he hoping to find?

Speaker 0

就是,什么什么什么

Like, what what what

Speaker 2

他在寻找异常,在……

He was looking for anomalies in the...

Speaker 2

寻找冷点,低温区域。

Looking for cool, cold spots.

Speaker 0

那应该可以吧。

Would've okay.

Speaker 2

它会突出显示一个区域,那个……

It would've highlighted, you know, an area that...

Speaker 2

因为什么都没有改变,因为那里什么都没有。

Because nothing changed because nothing was there.

Speaker 1

我忍不住想,他们在拍那个的时候,如果能听到现场收音,就像Jensen走过,然后激光打到Brad Creaser的眼睛上,妈的……

I I couldn't help but think that while they're shooting that, if you could hear the production audio, it's like Jensen walking through, and then as the laser hits Brad Creaser's eye, son of a...

Speaker 1

操。

Fuck.

Speaker 1

停。

Cut.

Speaker 0

我不知道。

I don't know.

Speaker 2

Brad什么时候出来的?

When did Brad come out?

Speaker 2

Brad一开始并不在那里。

Brad wasn't there right at the beginning.

Speaker 1

嗯,激光强到能穿透墙壁,在他家里打中他。

Well, the laser was strong enough to go through walls and hit him in his home.

Speaker 2

对。

Yes.

Speaker 2

确实是这样。

It did.

Speaker 2

但是,是的,我觉得它……

But, yes, I think it it...

Speaker 2

还有,我……

Also, I'm...

Speaker 2

我一直在等有人在他做那个动作的时候配上光剑的音效。

I was waiting for somebody to be the lightsaber sound effect as he was doing it.

Speaker 1

没错。

Exactly.

Speaker 2

不过,是啊,那只是一场戏。

But, yeah, it was only one scene.

Speaker 2

谢天谢地,我们把它删掉了。

Thank God we we got rid of it.

Speaker 2

而且我们后来也意识到,别在这些家伙的道具上搞得太花哨。

And we realized after that, it was like, don't get too fancy with the props that these guys have.

Speaker 2

尽量保持简单。

I mean, keep it as simple as possible.

Speaker 0

所以你说那个是实物道具,但悬浮的刀和悬浮的枪显然不是。

Well, so you say that was practical, but the floating knife and the floating gun, obviously, were not.

Speaker 2

我们尝试了很多种方案,比如用机械臂来模拟持枪的动作,或者把真枪放在支架上,后期再把支架P掉。

We tried a lot of iterations on, physical nature of trying to do the gun on an arm with a thing that moved, where it was a real gun on a pedestal, and then we'd paint out the pedestal.

Speaker 2

但效果并不理想……

But it wasn't...

Speaker 2

动作不够流畅,达不到我们的要求。

Couldn't move with enough fluidity that we needed.

Speaker 2

看起来总是有点卡顿,还带点弹跳感。

It was always kind of jerky, and it kind of bounced.

Speaker 1

而且落地后特别僵硬。

And it was so static, too, once it landed.

Speaker 1

就像飘在空中一样。

Like, it had a floating nature.

Speaker 0

而且它要做的事情很多。

And there's a lot it had to do.

Speaker 0

它得指向迪恩,指向她,然后转向他自己。

It had to point to Dean, point to her, and then turn on himself.

Speaker 0

那这是怎么做到的呢?

So how is that done?

Speaker 0

你们最后是怎么处理的?

What did you do in the end?

Speaker 0

魔法。

Magic.

Speaker 1

谢谢大家收听。

Thank you, everybody, for listening.

Speaker 1

今天你们学到了很多关于电影制作的知识。

You've learned a lot today about how movies

Speaker 2

你可不能透露太多。

You are can't give away too much.

Speaker 2

这就会剧透。

It gives away.

Speaker 2

不。

No.

Speaker 2

我们在吧台上放了一把枪,塑料枪,这样大家都能看到同一个视角。

We had a gun, plastic gun, on a bar, and so everybody could get the common viewpoint.

Speaker 0

视线?

The eye line?

Speaker 2

视线。

The eye line.

Speaker 2

然后我们就用这个来试,试完之后再不用它拍一遍。

And so we played around with that, and then we'd shoot it again without it.

Speaker 2

每个人都要自己去找那个位置。

And, you know, everybody had to kind of find where it was.

Speaker 2

然后我觉得我们最后拍出来的效果有点……

And then I think we ended up with a slightly...

Speaker 2

也许那是真枪。

Maybe it was the real gun.

Speaker 2

它就在那里,然后我们得在没有它的情况下再拍一次。

It was in there, and then, we'd have to do it again without it.

Speaker 2

然后伊万可以在后期把它合成回去。

Then Ivan could, you know, mat it back in.

Speaker 0

所以后来伊万在后期把所有都做了?

So then Ivan, in post, did all of it?

Speaker 2

差不多吧。

Pretty much.

Speaker 2

对,是的。

Mean, yeah.

Speaker 2

刀的部分,有些是实物放在桌上,用磁铁和线来移动它。

The knife, you know, some of the stuff where it's physical on the table that was done with with magnets wires, you know, moving it.

Speaker 2

伊万想出了一个绝妙的主意。

Ivan came up with a brilliant idea.

Speaker 2

我觉得是伊万。

I think it was Ivan.

Speaker 2

也许是马克。

Maybe it was Mark.

Speaker 2

如果当时马克·梅洛什也在场,我想他可能是在操作机器,去处理那个“眼”的部分。

If Mark Meloche was with us then, I think he might have been on one of the machines, to touch the eye Dude.

Speaker 2

就是眼泪那部分。

The tear.

Speaker 1

那个镜头拍得真棒。

Was such a great shot.

Speaker 1

我一直在等聊到这儿,因为那个镜头太酷了。

I was I was waiting to get to that because that shot is so cool.

Speaker 1

那你给我讲讲那个镜头的素材是怎么处理的吧。

So walk me through the plates for that shot.

Speaker 1

比如,底片是什么样的?

Like, what was the plate?

Speaker 2

那个其实挺简单的,因为就只有她的眼睛。

That was actually quite simple because it was just her eye.

Speaker 2

其他全是数字做的。

Everything else was digital.

Speaker 2

眼泪也是数字做的。

The tear was digital.

Speaker 2

不。

No.

Speaker 2

那全是数字的。

That's all digital.

Speaker 2

而且你可能没意识到,你看到的是……

And and what you don't realize is you're seeing...

Speaker 2

眼泪就在那里。

The tear is there.

Speaker 2

在她眼睛里涌出来。

It's welling in her eye.

Speaker 2

然后当刀尖慢慢、轻轻地碰到它的时候,眼泪就渗出来了。

And as the knife blade, the tip of it just barely slowly touches it, and then it leaks.

Speaker 1

那

That

Speaker 2

真是个大大的惊喜。

was a big surprise.

Speaker 2

我觉得伊万之前一直瞒着咱们呢。

I think Ivan hid that from us for a while.

Speaker 2

然后当它出现的时候,感觉就像……哦,因为那一刻的真实感

And then when it happened, it was like, oh, because then that moment of realism

Speaker 1

把数字技术带进了现实。对。

It took digital into real Yeah.

Speaker 1

用一种很酷的方式,让真实的人融入其中。

Real people in a really cool way.

Speaker 2

而且这真的让人挺震撼的,你知道吧……

And it really messed, you know...

Speaker 2

再说,那是多少年前的事了。

Again, that's how many years ago.

Speaker 2

现在的话,那肯定会是真正的……

Nowadays, that would have been a real...

Speaker 2

会是一个更加生动、更流畅的滴落效果。

I mean, it would be a much more animated, trickle.

Speaker 0

而且可能没那么好。

And maybe not as good.

Speaker 1

也许吧。

Maybe.

Speaker 1

因为那个效果很成功。

Because that worked.

Speaker 0

我想象不出比那更好的效果了。

I can't imagine it working better than that.

Speaker 1

确实,兄弟。

No, man.

Speaker 1

那让我……

So let me...

Speaker 1

我得问点细节。

I got to ask details.

Speaker 1

她眼里涌出的泪水,那是实拍的效果,还是也是数字做的?

So the tear in her eye welling up, that's practical or that's also digital?

Speaker 2

那全是

That's all

Speaker 1

数字的。

digital.

Speaker 1

所以你只是拍了一个她眼球的超特写镜头?

So all you did was an incredibly ECU shot of her eyeball?

Speaker 2

对。

Yes.

Speaker 2

然后很多……

A lot of then the

Speaker 0

ECU,就是极端特写镜头。

ECU extreme close-up.

Speaker 2

跟贝丝说一下,好的。

Talk with Beth about, okay.

Speaker 2

现在镜头越来越近,你吸一口气,或者让她显得更害怕。

Now it's getting closer, and you're taking a breath in or just so she's more afraid.

Speaker 2

然后她的眼睛睁开了。

And her eye opens.

Speaker 2

也许它会睁开。

Maybe it opens up.

Speaker 2

就是为了让演员们大概知道技术上实际发生了什么。

Just to give the actors some sense of what technically is, you know, physically is happening.

Speaker 1

现在我的眼睛有点疼。

And It's hurting my eyes right now.

Speaker 1

有点……

A little bit...

Speaker 1

我根本没法想这件事。

I can't I can't even think about it.

Speaker 2

拍那些镜头真的特别好玩。

It was it was so much fun to shoot all that.

Speaker 2

我们还拍了一个版本。

And we did a version.

Speaker 2

在早期剪辑里有一个版本,比现在看到的要恐怖得多。

There's a version in one of the earlier cuts, which is way more horrific than what is seen.

Speaker 0

哦,真的吗?

Oh, really?

Speaker 2

就像……

There's like...

Speaker 2

我拍这些镜头的时候就知道,标准……

I did all these shots knowing that standards...

Speaker 2

我们有个标准流程,就是那种拉锯战。

There's the standards arm wrestling that we do.

Speaker 2

能展示多少,不能展示多少?

How much can you show and how much can't you show?

Speaker 2

然后刀举起来,碰到她的眼睛。

So the knife goes up, touches her eye.

Speaker 2

他们还挺宽容的。

They were cool.

Speaker 2

然后刀稍微往后收一点,像是放松一下,接着他又往前刺过去。

Then it rears back a little bit like you relax, And then he sends it forward.

Speaker 2

然后你看到刀往前去,刚开始碰到她。

And you see it go forward, just start to hit her.

Speaker 2

然后我们切到她头后面的墙上,你看到刀刃插进墙里。

And then we cut to the wall on the backside of her head, you see the blade go in to the wall.

Speaker 2

哇。

Woah.

Speaker 2

在那之后,我还有另一个镜头,因为厨房里有个柱子,所以从那个角度看。

And on the backside of that, I had another one which was looking, because it was like a pillar in the kitchen.

Speaker 2

然后我说,好吧,我们需要的是刀片完全穿透过去,这样刀尖就能从另一侧露出来。

And then I said, all right, what we need is we need the blade to come all the way through so the point of it sticking on the other side.

Speaker 2

这就是DP发过来的版本。

That's how DP sent it.

Speaker 2

我们很清楚标准审核那边多少会有点问题,所以我们尽量做得夸张一些,想着之后还能再收回来一点。

Knowing full well that standards was gonna have some issue here and there, we we make it as overblown as we can knowing that we'll pull it back some, I think.

Speaker 2

更像是看看我们能蒙混到什么程度。

You know, it's it's more like, you know, let's see what we can get away with.

Speaker 2

但在早期剪辑版里,那场面要恐怖得多,因为我们还有这些其他的片段要……

But but it was a lot more horrific in an early cut on that because we had all these other pieces to

Speaker 2

……要放进去。

To play.

Speaker 1

但这不是很聪明吗?

But isn't that smart?

Speaker 1

因为那样你就是在按你说的做。

Because then you're doing what you said.

Speaker 1

你基本上就是在用希区柯克那套把戏,我们就是要让你看这边这个东西,对吧。

You're basically doing the Alfred Hitchcock trickery of, we're gonna we're gonna make you look at this thing over here Mhmm.

Speaker 1

所以你就让我们拿这个。

So you let us have this.

Speaker 1

对,你

Yeah, you

Speaker 2

对,我的意思是,你总是想要……

over Yeah, mean, you always want...

Speaker 2

当了很长时间的剪辑师,你总是想让素材自己说话。

Being an editor for a long time, you always want the pieces to decide.

Speaker 2

如果你不拍那些镜头,那之后你就没有那个选择了。

If you don't shoot them, then you don't have that option later on.

Speaker 2

所以如果你说,天哪,我真希望我当时拍了个特写。

So if you go, Gosh, I wish I I would've shot a close-up.

Speaker 2

嗯,你懂吧?

-Mm You know?

Speaker 2

或者这里的插入镜头,可能本来会是个不错的叙事手法。

Or, you know, the insert here of this might've been good storytelling.

Speaker 1

你说到……

You talk about...

Speaker 1

抱歉,罗伯。

I'm sorry, Rob.

Speaker 1

请继续。

Go ahead.

Speaker 1

我刚才想说

I was just gonna say

Speaker 0

你在这部片里请到了很棒的客串明星。

you got some great guest stars in this.

Speaker 0

她表现很棒,麦克斯也很棒。

She was great, and Max was great.

Speaker 0

你刚才想说的就是这个吗?

Is that what you were gonna say?

Speaker 1

我正是想这么说。

Exactly what was gonna say.

Speaker 1

因为他们演得太好了。

Because they were so good.

Speaker 1

你在这部剧里请到了很棒的客串明星。

-You had great guest stars in this.

Speaker 1

那你参与了多少——等等,先别急。

-So how involved were you in -Do that

Speaker 0

你还记得那个选角过程吗?

you remember that casting process?

Speaker 2

贝丝,我想,是从洛杉矶选来的。

-Beth, I think, was cast out of LA.

Speaker 2

布兰登·布兰登·弗莱彻当时在

Brandon Brandon Fletcher was in

Speaker 0

维克多维尔。

Victorville.

Speaker 0

真的吗?

-Really?

Speaker 0

他是加拿大人。

He's Canadian.

Speaker 2

而且他当时特别年轻。

And he was really young.

Speaker 2

我现在再看的时候,心里总有个声音在说:哦,一眼就能认出是他,因为他那股劲儿太足了。

And, you know, I think there's a part of me, when I watch it now, I'm like, Oh, you know it's him right away because he's so intense.

Speaker 2

不过他的经历挺有意思的,而且跟他合作特别愉快。

But his story is interesting, and he is wonderful to work with.

Speaker 2

后来他还演了特里·吉列姆的电影。

He was in a Terry Gilliam movie after that.

Speaker 0

真的吗?

Really?

Speaker 1

他之后还接了不少戏。

He's done a bunch of stuff.

Speaker 2

他演过不少东西,是的。

He's a bunch of stuff, yeah.

Speaker 2

但他演得非常好。

But he was fantastic.

Speaker 2

而且在他和Jared之间,后面有一场戏,就是突然意识到,哦,你妈妈也做过那种事?

And just between him and Jared, there's that scene later where the realization that, oh, your mom did that too?

Speaker 2

哇,然后你爸爸就疯了。

Wow, and your dad went crazy.

Speaker 2

太酷了。

Cool.

Speaker 2

那场戏拍起来特别有意思,因为很简单,就全靠两个演员的表演。

That scene was super fun to shoot because it was simple, and you just relied on what the two actors were doing.

Speaker 1

你,你……

You you...

Speaker 1

我觉得,好像有……

Like, I think there's got...

Speaker 1

我想特别提一下,能请到这种级别的客串演员真的太棒了,因为这部剧的成败很大程度上就取决于这些配角的表现,真的。

I wanna shine a light on how great it is to get guest stars that level because the show rises and falls on that support staff, really, you know?

Speaker 1

而且这条故事线里,他可不是只露脸一场的龙套。

And that storyline, this is not just a one scene guy.

Speaker 1

他是那种一出场,整条故事线都围绕着他的人物弧光展开的角色。

This is a guy who comes in, and the whole story revolves around his arc.

Speaker 1

而通常我们找人来试镜,也就是一两场戏的量。

And, you know, you have somebody to do one or two scenes in an audition.

Speaker 1

你希望他们当天能打出全垒打,但这并不总是发生。

You hope they're home run hitters on the day, and that's not always the case.

Speaker 1

他确实做到了这一点。

And he sure sure as heck was.

Speaker 2

但把你们俩选进这部剧真是绝了。

But it's like casting you two on the show.

Speaker 2

这招太妙了,因为你们都很擅长自己的工作。

It was brilliant because you're good at what you do.

Speaker 2

你全力以赴,而且你带来的更多。

You bring your A game, and you also bring more.

Speaker 2

你会思考角色。

You think about character.

Speaker 2

你会思考这个人是什么样的人,或者他是谁。

You think about what this person or who this person is.

Speaker 2

布兰登也是一样。

And Brandon was just the same.

Speaker 2

贝丝也是。

So was Beth.

Speaker 2

你知道吗?

You know?

Speaker 2

叔叔和爸爸那边要做的少一些,因为他们参与的原因不同。

There was less to do with the uncle and the dad because they were kind of in it for other reasons.

Speaker 2

但作为导演,你希望选角选得恰到好处,因为那样在很多方面都能减轻你的负担。

But, you know, it's your hope as a director to get that casting in the right spot because so much then is taken off your shoulders in so many ways.

Speaker 2

有时候演员进来,你以为他是那样的人,结果发现他是另一种人,部分原因是因为他们紧张。

You know, you get an actor that comes in and you think they're one thing, and they turn to be another thing, and part of it is they're nervous.

Speaker 2

而且这是新节目。

They're it's a new show.

Speaker 2

你知道,有些东西就是这样。

They're you know, there's certain things.

Speaker 2

那你就得花更多时间去修正或塑造,而不是花更多时间去发挥。

Well, then you've got to spend more time fixing or molding as opposed to more time playing.

Speaker 2

因为如果你找到合适的人,比如我,我可以轻松地把东西抛给你们。

Because if you get somebody like, I can throw stuff to you guys easy.

Speaker 2

这超级有趣,因为你们很快就能理解我的意思,然后我们就开始即兴发挥。

And it's super fun because you get the idea very quickly, and then we riff.

Speaker 2

一旦即兴发挥开始,奇迹就可能发生。

And once the riffing goes, that's when the magic can happen.

Speaker 1

你懂吗?

You know?

Speaker 2

我觉得这就是我们得到的结果。

And I think that's what we get.

Speaker 2

而且我觉得布伦丹在这方面做得非常好。

And I think, you know, Brendan did really good on that.

Speaker 1

贝丝也做得很好。

And Beth did, too.

Speaker 1

你提到了贝丝。

You mentioned Beth.

Speaker 1

你知道吗?

You know?

Speaker 1

她……

She...

Speaker 1

贝丝·布罗德里克,

Beth Broderick,

Speaker 0

她

who

Speaker 1

她演的是继母爱丽丝·米勒,她其实没有……

plays, Alice Miller, the stepmother, she doesn't have...

Speaker 1

就像你整集都在观察她,然后你会觉得,

Like, you're kind of watching her through the episode, and you're like,

Speaker 0

哦,她演得真不错。

Oh, she's doing a nice job.

Speaker 1

她确实有不少戏份。

She's got some stuff to do.

Speaker 1

不是那种很重的戏。

-Not heavy lifting.

Speaker 1

即使他当面质问她,她也只是说,好吧。

Even when he confronts her, it's like, Okay.

Speaker 1

然后当她坐下来跟警察讲事情经过时,那真是精彩绝伦。

And then when she sits down with the cops and tells the story, it's just lights out.

Speaker 0

太棒了。

It's great.

Speaker 2

不,她表现得特别棒。

No, she was wonderful.

Speaker 2

而且又是同样的情况。

And again, same thing.

Speaker 2

作为导演,你在选角的时候总是希望演员能把角色演活,还能带来一些你原本没想到的情绪、色彩或者其他元素。

You you hope as a director when you're casting that that person can bring to life the character and and bring in other moods, colors, whatever you wanna call it, that you didn't think about.

Speaker 2

选角这事儿里总藏着些惊喜。

There's always stuff in casting.

Speaker 2

我总是很惊讶,因为现在我们完全进入了视频试镜这个阶段。对。

I'm always amazed because now we're just into this video casting Yeah.

Speaker 2

那感觉完全不一样……

That it's so much more...

Speaker 2

像我们当时是温哥华为数不多的还在坚持传统试镜的剧之一,尤其是到了后期更是如此。

Like, we were one of the very few shows in Vancouver, especially toward the later years, that was still going to casting.

Speaker 1

而且效果真的好了很多。

And It's so much better.
