Of course, there's this singer.

But then I remembered your Korean name specifically from all your comments before.

对我而言，学习韩语是一段非常神奇且改变人生的经历。

Korean learning has been a really magical and life changing experience for me, I guess.

我认为我的学习之旅始于2016年，那时我报名参加了印度新德里的世宗学院。

I think my journey started in 2016 and that that is the time when I enrolled myself in Sejong Institute, Sejong Haktang in India, New Delhi.

那时我母亲在韩国大使馆的文化部门工作。

My mother used to work in Korean embassy that time in the cultural department.

她当时是那里的公关官员。

She was a public relation officer over there.

她身边有很多韩国同事一起工作。

And she used to have all the Korean colleagues working with her.

但她自己并不会说韩语。

Though she doesn't speak Korean.

That's it.

我明白了。

I see.

我当时正在学习计算机工程。

And I was doing my computer engineering.

Mhmm.

Computer And she is the one she saw me that I was really not that much interested in doing pursuing engineering.

印度和韩国都是竞争非常激烈的国家。

India and Korea are a really competitive nation.

Everyone aims for like being a law student, engineer, medical student, like that's it, or they do business.

Mhmm.

And for me, thought if I want to earn more money, I need to be an engineer.

But deep inside, I was really bored.

So a lot of people search online looking for easier explanations and that's where we come in and that's also something that we tried to do from the beginning.

Our English explanations were also deliberately easier English as for those who are not native speakers of the English because I'm not a native speaker either.

And having friends in your life who are say in India or in The UK or wherever you go, you meet Korean people and those interactions can be deep conversations and everything but actually coming to Korea there might be some differences.

Oh, I thought Koreans were like this.

But then coming to Korea actually seeing Korea for the first time, you are here for the first time, right?

It's really much possible and I think if you do learn it and if you do find some opportunities to work for any Korean client, the basic thing is to you can work as an interpreter, as a dongyeok sa.

That's a good suggestion for a very useful tip for a lot of people.

如果你已经达到了一定程度的韩语流利水平，但还没有太多机会来韩国生活或工作，也许可以尝试找一些翻译工作。

If you reach a certain level of fluency in the Korean language and you haven't had a lot of opportunities to come live in Korea or work in Korea maybe try to look for translation jobs.

我的意思是，随着人工智能技术的发展，这类机会自然会越来越少，但仍然会有很多情况，比如我刚接到一个朋友的电话，他需要一个真人翻译来翻译一本书。

I mean with AI technology, guess there will be fewer and fewer opportunities naturally, but there will still be a lot of situations where I just got a call from a friend of mine looking for a human translator for a book.

And I'm like, okay.

This is what I was looking for and this is what I'm receiving.
