Well, I think I'm going to sack off some of the bigger plans and hope that my friends don't mind too much.

That sounds like a sensible idea.

You need to rest.

Now that's a good phrasal verb to learn sack something off.

What does it mean?

Well, in this case,

sack off plans means cancel plans.

Now sack something off is a phrasal verb, isn't it?

没错。

That's right.

它是一个可分离的短语动词，

And it's a separable phrasal verb,

也就是说，宾语可以放在动词后面，也可以放在中间。

which means you put an object at the end of the verb or in the middle.

所以你可以说 sack off a plan，或者说 sack a plan off。

So you can say sack off a plan or sack a plan off.
