I mean, we talked a little bit about, you know, the permission permissionless nature of the ecosystem.

I, you know, I I spoke with several founders that are in the ecosystem talking about how, you know, we've got both a very consumer, you know, centric vibe to the brand and some of the applications in the in the app layer, then also a deep institutional liquidity focus, and we've got tokenized stocks, and and it feels like in order to survive as a blockchain in 2026, you need both sides of the barbell.

You guys have been able to master this approach.

I think, you know, the Monad community has played a huge part in the success of the project and that's, you know, you know, in touch with the culture of crypto, but at the same time, I think it's also, you know, at the end of the day, deliver value to users, value to businesses, and, you know, that means interacting with the real world and a lot of the real world is people wearing suits or at least people in, you know, very rigorously about slippage and liquidity and those.

So, I think it's very possible to blend the two together.

There's no contradiction.

Everyone wants good execution.

And I think, you know, right now the Monad network is just starting to accumulate some network effects, but those come both from institutional adoption and from retail adoption.

And and I take it there's probably some through lines here, openness being one of them, permissionless, you know, some of the principles and the core tenants of the industry of digital assets of finance in general and of of sort of this up and coming wave of adopters.

Maybe you can just speak to, you know, what what are some of those core tenets that you've held right through your journey of of starting, founding, and and now building Monad that continue to proliferate and guide you through for the next, you know, decade of Monad's journey?

What are what are some of those core tenets?

我们在2022年初启动了Monad。

We we started Monad in early two thousand twenty two.

那时候，我觉得市场对行业方向的感觉不太一样。

At that time, I think there was, you know, a sort of a different market feel about the direction of the industry.

当时大家都在说rollup会成为大趋势，我觉得rollup在整个加密生态中确实有一席之地，但现在已经没有那种一边倒的鼓吹了。

There was, you know, everyone was just saying the rollups are gonna be the big thing, and I think there's definitely a place for rollups in the overall crypto ecosystem, but there's much less like unilateral, you know, banging the drum all in one direction.

我们创立Monad的时候，目标就是打造一个真正高性能且去中心化的系统，我们觉得同时解决这两个问题的工程挑战非常激动人心、非常吸引人，我们从来不想走捷径。

When we started Monad, the goal was just to deliver a really performant and decentralized system and we thought that the engineering challenges of solving those two problems together were just exciting and compelling and, you know, we never wanted to cut corners.

So, you know, what that meant is that there was a longer development period from the time of starting to launching the mainnet about ten months ago now.

But the good news is that now, I feel we have just very strong foundations moving forward where the system is built completely from scratch, the core engineering team knows it like the back of their hand, there's a lot of improvements that we think are sort of the right way for blockchain architectures to work, and that includes decoupling consensus and execution, it includes parallelizing the work, it includes, you know, kind of rebuilding the database from scratch and all these other things.

But now with that really solid technical foundation, it actually allows us to do a lot more and to solve other really fundamental problems that I think are still outstanding in crypto, including solving MEV and sort of squaring the circle around the seeming contradiction between privacy and composability that currently exists right now in the space.

Yeah, yeah, absolutely.

And that's something that we've heard a lot about, we've talked a lot about on the show, even just throughout the day to day.

And so there's some very interesting engineering problems that are out there still to be solved.

Maybe just for our audience and for the Monad community, some reflections.

What have been some of the lessons that you've learned, some of the greatest takeaways from the first ten months of mainnet?

我觉得速度就是一切。

I think speed is everything.

我觉得有很多资产发行方、交易所、银行都对上链感到兴奋。

I think that there's many asset issuers, many exchanges, many banks that are excited about coming on chain.

所以机会和潜力都在那里，但关键在于我们要快速行动，解决他们的问题。比如，对于资产发行方，要帮助他们的资产得到分发，并且通过嵌入去中心化系统，让用户能够使用杠杆，从而获得更多实用性。

You know, so the opportunity, the potential's all there, but it's just on us to move really quickly to solve their problems, and for example, for asset issuers, to help their asset distributed and getting more utility from being embedded in a decentralized system where users can use leverage.

There's a lot of little problems to solve.

解决得越快越好。

The faster to solve them, the better.
