Welcome back into UAP.
Stephen Diener back with you here as always on the Unidentified Alien podcast.
This time for episode number 233.
And for this one, we are going to shift back towards the interview format because, of course, I'm kinda going back and forth a little bit with the cold case files and some of the interviews that I do.
This time we're going to go back towards the interview style because we're talking with someone whose name is Jas.
Now we're only using first name because Jas is just a normal everyday American and a guy who doesn't want his last name out there for different reasons and asked if it would be possible if we only go by his first name.
I said, Yes, of course.
No problem at all.
And he wanted to come on here to the show to talk about his experiences after I asked him about it, quite frankly.
This was never a plan of his to be on the show to talk about his life.
You'll hear us kind of go into his backstory.
But when he started telling me his story through email, I thought this is something that people need to hear.
And after much deliberation, Jas decided to go ahead and come out to the public for the first time in his entire life regarding his lifelong encounters with the UFO phenomenon.
You're gonna hear it all.
It runs the gamut of things that we've heard in the past.
我们……
We...
It starts with childhood.
It goes through, close encounters with beings, possible abductions, possible implants, possible run ins with the Men in Black.
I mean, there is so much here that would sound familiar from other experiencers, but to hear it coming from somebody who is just a normal everyday guy that I'm sure friends and family would never think that he had experiences like this, the things that he's lived through, but you're going to hear it all here for the first time ever.
This experience for named Jas tells his story and he does it right here on UAP.
This will be broken up into two parts with part one today going into his childhood and into his teenage years, into his early adult years.
Then we'll come back for part two to finish things off and how things are looking present day for Jase, and also talk to you about some of the things that he's seen in his career as well.
So all of it is discussed in parts one and two.
Right now, part one of this exclusive sit down with a new experience here named Jas.
Well, I'm excited for this.
I want to welcome in an experience here today, and I'm excited because as you know, if you listen to the show in the past, what I like to try to do when the opportunity presents itself is to have on real life, every day people like you and I.
It's great to have on the congressmen.
It's great to have on the whistleblowers and the firsthand witnesses and things like that.
But it's always also great to talk to the experiences, the everyday people like you and I who have gone through encounters that cannot be explained and, quite frankly, that you never have heard about before in your entire life because these aren't people who have come onto the news and done interviews with anybody or really any other podcast that do interviews with anybody.
I'm glad that we had that opportunity here today, Only using first name today for, obviously, reasons of security for them.
Jas, welcome you on here to UAP today.
Thank you so much for coming on, and I'm happy to have you.
Well, thank you very much.
I'm happy to be here.
It's a little, weird kinda talking about it publicly.
I've only spoken about my past, with a few people.
So, I just been a, you know, kind of a lurker on your podcast, and I felt comfortable enough to talk today.
And I appreciate that.
Thank you.
First off, I'm glad that you've enjoyed the show over the time, and thank you for feeling comfortable enough to reach out.
And I will start there.
I guess just a little backstory about how this came about.
I got an email from Jas, just like anybody else.
You always hear me say at the end of an episode, Feel free to send me any messages, and I mean that.
I take that to heart where I do get around to checking all the messages and writing back at some point, and I did that with Jas.
He took a leap of faith and sent me his story.
I found it incredibly fascinating and compelling, and I thought, I think I would actually like to have you on.
Let's make this a little bit more than just, Hey, really interesting story.
Thanks for telling me about your life.
Let's bring this to people if you're comfortable with it.
And you and I have been emailing over the past few months actually, so this wasn't just something willy nilly, and it got to the point where you did say, Okay, yeah.
You know what?
I think I would like to do that.
So I'll start there, Jas.
Number one, why did you feel like you were ready to take that leap of faith and tell me, anybody, your story?
This ended up being me.
And then why did you end up feeling comfortable enough now after all this time to speak about it for the first time in public?
And I actually kinda wrestled with that.
What's what's the best answer for that, really?
So I've, you know, I've been interested in, really, since my experiences in my early life, listening to people's stories, reading their stories, watching their stories.
But I don't...
I really don't...
I can't really answer that.
I I was...
Really, best way I can describe that would be the answer for that anyway is I've spoken to a few of my friends that were really skeptical of things really their whole life, know, the paranormal or UAPs, aliens, you know, and a few of them actually were like, you know what?
I I shared my experiences with them, and I...
Those are my experiences.
I can't speak for your experience in your life.
But one of them says...
She said, you know, I I kinda think that there's something to this.
I know you as a genuine person.
I've known her my...
Almost my entire life.
And so I...
You've you've definitely changed.
She knew me before what I dealt with early early in the nineties and then obviously after.
And it got me thinking, you know, maybe someone else is feeling weird like I am or partially unaccepted by society.
And you feel like there's this deep dark secret that you wanna tell, but are you gonna get lambasted for it?
And then listening, I came across your podcast, and I and you just...
You sounded genuine.
You you have some people on on your podcast that just...
They probably felt the same way I did.
And so, essentially, that leap of faith was, you know, I'm a I'm a I'm a speak to somebody who has an audience of like minded folks.
Sure there are skeptics out there that are listening to it, but I...
为了……
To feed...
To be the most truthful person to my own self, I felt like it's time to talk about it.
Very cool.
And I appreciate that answer.
Well, it's long winded, but
不会。
No.
不会。
No.
That's that's
way I can describe it.
Absolutely.
不会。
No.
By all means.
And before we get into that story, like you said, it begins in the early nineties.
Before we get into your your experiences, just so everybody can get a feel for where you're coming from, is your background, if you don't mind, Jas?
What is your background as far as work, as far as any military backgrounds, aviation background?
Just so people can get a feel for your point of view on these things?
好的。
Sure.
So my...
I have a a pretty pretty deep background in government contracting.
I worked for military and law enforcement agencies really around the world.
I worked for a government contractor.
And so I would visit, you you could just call them black sites if you want.
They just were sites.
But I have some places that people have heard about, seen about, read about.
我……
I...
I've been to those I...
We did a lot of audio video technology for evidence systems, camera systems, surveillance systems, covert border patrol systems.
And I've I've seen some things that I wanna say I couldn't explain, some things I really couldn't explain.
But as everybody's heard, you know, the the mantra there's there's more out there.
The truth is out there as it were.
There's a lot of things that we just...
We can't comprehend.
The general public just doesn't want to comprehend maybe.
So that's my background.
High end technology.
好的。
Okay.
Mean, hey.
你看。
Look.
That's that's pretty reputable if if you ask me.
I mean, the fact that you were involved with, you know, government contracting.
You've been on the sites, so to speak.
I do want to ask you more about that for sure as we go along, but I'll save that.
I want to get into your story here.
Take us into where it begins.
Believe in 1990, 1991, how old were you, and how did this all start for you?
So I'm...
Back in 1999...
'91, that that general time frame was somewhat pivotal in my life for obvious reasons now.
But I was this standard kid.
I was, you know, eight, nine years old and living in Southern Indiana.
I can give that that description out But a little typical Midwest, I grew up in a somewhat of a...
Really an affluent area, and there wasn't a lot of traffic.
There wasn't a lot of light pollution.
There still isn't even to this day.
There was there was a little village and, just playing with my friends in our in our gated community.
And really, the the first time...
The first thing I really remembered was really seeing, some of the Mufon folks later on would tell me there was probably more to it, but I can't speak to that because I don't remember it.
But I was fishing down by our lake and just by myself just hanging out.
There's a...
You know, about 20 houses or so on this lake.
It's a pretty sizable lake.
And, I look off to my left and I still remember very clearly to this day, there was this grayish looking skinny creature.
And I wouldn't necessarily say, like, what people call the grays.
我……
I...
It didn't seem like that to me.
It still doesn't.
But there was this grayish creature standing.
And as soon as I looked to my left, it kinda poked behind a tree.
I was able to see the...
Almost the entire silhouette of the creature.
And it was daylight outside.
It was definitely grayish.
It was kinda somewhat wrinkly, but not a lot.
And it tried hiding.
And I Wow.
I wasn't scared.
It it was kinda spooked me.
I was used to seeing wildlife.
We had deer and, you know, all kinds of wildlife in our area.
It was heavily forested.
And and I just kinda got spooked, like, this wasn't right.
Something wasn't right about the air.
So so so what...
This was spooky.
And so I kinda kept trying to keep an eye on it.
You could see it kinda like just a little bit behind the tree, and it wasn't really moving at this point.
And I started backing up, and we lived out of the back uphill.
I was not clumsy normally, but I was definitely clumsy backing up that hill that day.
当然。
Sure.
And that was summerish time.
It was kinda like beginning autumn, late summer.
Again, in the Midwest, those those seasons kinda blend together quite a bit.
That that was the first thing I really ever remembered Wow.
Or remember to this day.
On that note, two things come to mind.
The first thing I want to ask is just more if you can remember or if you caught it, the description of the creature that you saw.
Do you remember approximately how tall maybe it was?
Are we talking Yeah.
Four to five, eight to nine feet?
它……
It...
It's funny because when I when I watch shows nowadays and I see, like, the depictions of aliens like Grace or whatever, that's the one that comes to my...
Most people's mind, I suppose.
But it was not that.
It it was taller.
And, I'm five nine, now.
I was I was shorter back then.
当然。
Sure.
But it was taller than me.
And I would I would venture to say because that tree that it was, sitting there is still there to this day.
哦。
Oh.
I live, near that community still.
And, I can I can now see that branch that it was standing under?
And so I I would say it was probably about five feet, five and a half feet tall.
好的。
Okay.
So average size as far as...
Average human size, I guess, somewhere between five and six feet.
没错。
Absolutely.
好的。
Okay.
So that's Absolutely.
Just really spindly.
好的。
Okay.
So is possible...
Did it have any human characteristics to it as far as, you know, obviously, you know, two arms, two legs.
But was there anything that would make you think that you're looking at a human?
Absolutely not.
Definitely not.
And, really, me and there was probably four four or five other kids or even not not including adults who would never go in those woods.
But they weren't, like...
They're not like spooky woods.
They're just your normal normal forest.
But people didn't really go in there, and there's no hunting lot in that village.
There wouldn't wouldn't be a hunter.
It's a gated community, so there's very limited access.
So really, no.
And it was definitely taller than any friends of mine that I I had, and it definitely wasn't wearing any clothes.
So Mhmm.
I would say absolutely not.
It it had to be something that I can't explain.
I'm not saying it was an alien.
I'm not...
I don't wanna go surmising something like that, but it was something that was alien to me.
哇。
Wow.
And I I ask these questions just for, of course, you know, being thorough and to address anything that someone else might say and be like, oh, well, he just saw this or he just saw that, but he doesn't get it because he was just a kid.
So I try to address some of those things to be as thorough as we can.
So just...
I don't want to think I'm doubting you or questioning your
故事。
your story.
Just kidding.
Not at So
doesn't come across that way.
But when when we talk about, again, this creature Those
are good questions.
不。
No.
I know.
I appreciate it.
I I tried to...
My best to get some of those things out there.
Did it have anything that would resemble an animal standing on two legs?
Were there horns?
Were there hooves?
有……
Were...
Anything like that, or did you see actual fingers and feet?
So it definitely was not a human.
It certainly was not any animal that I am familiar with, and I'm an outdoorsman, so I'm out there quite a bit.
But the head was...
就是……
Was...
I don't don't wanna call it triangular.
I don't wanna call it, like, necessarily ovular either, but it was almost a humanoid head, but had a pointy chin.
Not like super pointed, but it was definitely like triangular shaped as it were.
I was able to see one hand and one arm.
One arm was definitely obscured by the tree.
The feet were obscured by just foliage on the ground.
It was by the waterline.
There's a lot of grass down there.
But the hand was long, not super, super long, but long fingers and longer style hand as it were.
I did not catch how many fingers it had, so I don't wanna speak a number there.
But it was just certainly nothing I had ever seen before, and I've not really seen since.
So it is interesting though because you mentioned no clothes, but basically, it just it didn't it didn't resemble anything that would look like a human that didn't have clothes on, I guess I should say.
没错。
Exactly.
It it definitely didn't.
好的。
Okay.
Fair enough.
And so we talked about you
And there were no organs that I could see.
对。
Exactly.
所以……
So...
Which is an important point.
But it's it's...
It's something important to point out.
If if we're talking about...
It look like a classic gray.
The gray is skin, about five to six feet tall.
You notice, you know, it does have appendages.
Did you notice...
I know you talked about the shape of the head.
Jas?
Did you notice the eyes at all, Jas?
Did did it...
Do you remember anything about the eyes?
Actually, I do.
So I I feel like we locked eyes.
They were just black but shiny.
And it...
It's the...
Probably the feature that stands out the most to me.
And I would say I got a a really, really, really good glimpse of the face because this week, it's like we we locked eyes.
And I I was able to really see the face quite well.
And there was no...
Nothing really...
A mouth.
There was, a little dark spot, but it didn't have, a smile or lips that you could really see.
But the eyes were large, and they were round, and they were black shiny.
哇。
Wow.
好的。
Okay.
Anything for a nose?
Not that I re...
Not that really that I remember, honestly.
Any hair?
Any visible hair at all?
没有。
None.
Absolutely none, which was weird because, again, someone being in the outdoors, if there's an animal lives in the in the woods, it's gonna have hair.
Did did you smell it?
They're probably gonna have hair.
没错。
Exactly.
Jas?
Did you smell anything at all, Jas?
Did...
Were there any distinct smells associated with this?
Maybe you were too far away.
We were only maybe fifty, sixty feet at most away from one another, at most.
And given that we're at the lake, there was a lot of lake smell.
So if there was something distinct with it, I don't recall it.
好的。
Okay.
好的。
Okay.
It's fascinating because, obviously, as you know now, it sounds like you're describing a typical gray that people would see.
And it's incredible, I'm sure, for you to look back on too.
And just again, as far as background goes, you said you're about eight or nine years old when this happened.
Would there be anything for you that would make this a suggestive sighting?
Meaning, you know, you were watching, some type of science fiction show beforehand, and you had a gray in mind.
You know what I mean?
Would...
Were you partaking in any of that entertainment at that age?
没有。
No.
I was not allowed to.
好。
K.
So Okay.
So definitely not.
不是。
No.
我……
I...
It was just your your typical...
I was outside.
My my mom often would just make us sandwiches, my friends and I sandwiches or whatever, and say, Go outside, come back when it's dark.
Used be......
Out there.
没错。
Exactly.
Which is, again, fascinating to think about, that there weren't really a lot of influences for you then when it comes to seeing something like that.
Was that the first time you had seen a gray alien like that?
Obviously, in your life, yes, but have you seen anything like that before on TV, pictures, magazines, you said to yourself, oh, that looks like an alien that I saw, you know, on x y z?
没有。
No.
不是……
Not...
I've never seen anything like it.
Certainly not before.
And on TV, a lot of the descriptions I I see, they they kind of sound similar.
But but I've never able to see...
I've never seen something recreated exactly the way that I saw it, but there was no no influence there whatsoever.
Interesting.
So now, after you got older, I know there's more to your story here, but I really wanted to go in-depth on what you saw.
But as you went forward, I'm just curious, when did you realize, as we get through the '90s into the 2000s and this starts to become more and more, you see more pictures and things in movies and, you know, gray aliens on x files and things like that that came out about five years after that sighting that you had.
When did you realize...
等等。
Wait.
Did I see an alien?
You know, there is no, like, one date that really comes to mind, and I've never...
I can't really say it necessarily I've ever said to myself, I saw an alien.
I saw something that was alien to me, and I've never seen it again.
I don't know if it's just my mind still not wanting to come to grips with it.
But I would would say probably about the time I I started kinda seeing the lights in my room and coming coming into my room that I I was like, maybe there was something to that.
Maybe this is connected.
Which is
never I never really had, like, this connect the dots moment.
好的。
Okay.
And I'm glad you mentioned the lights coming into your room because that's where I wanted to go next with this.
Now, leave that area.
You're like, Oh my gosh.
好的。
Okay.
I'm out of here.
I don't know what I'm seeing, but I'm not sticking around to find out.
Now you you go on.
So what happens after this?
How soon after?
Because I know you ended up seeing these lights in your room.
So what was that like, and how soon after it was from where you saw the creature at the lake to now seeing lights in your room?
Months, really.
Within a few months because the the next thing that really I started...
I I noticed it was...
At night, I...
I've always had a hard time sleeping.
Even as a kid, I just...
I had a hard time sleeping.
I sometimes wonder, like...
Because I don't really remember this happening until after the lights thing.
But as a young kid, you know, a few months later, my my buddy and I were building a building a fort.
That's what, you know, kids did.
And we had we had just just down the road from our house, and it's it's a very unpopulated, again, a very rural area in this in this village.
Houses were spread apart.
There was only four houses on this entire street, and the street's almost a mile long.
And the rest was just...
It's just woods.
But right down the street from my house, there was this great big tree that I wish was still there because it was so pretty.
But there's now a house there.
But we were building this fort, and it was winter.
It just got done snowing.
It was still snowing a little bit, just enough where you can kinda catch a snowflake on your hand or your tongue or what...
Whatever.
And we wanted to add these couple last finishing touches to our really cool tree fort.
And and it was weird.
But leading up to that, I do remember that there was a lot of lights coming into the room.
And we didn't have emergency vehicles going going up and down our roads.
I had, honestly, in my town, never seen an ambulance or a police car coming into our village at all.
So it was not anything like that.
But there were lights, like, flickering coming in my room, like, almost like rainbow streams for lack of better terms.
And I I never felt like scared at first.
I said I don't remember feeling scared.
But fast forward back again to that that tree fort night, I felt...
I can't say I heard it.
I felt this Like a vibration.
My body and I...
It's it's it's like you've...
Like a low rumble.
Like, you feel it in your body.
好。
Okay.
And I was like, what is that?
And and about that moment, kinda looked up and I saw this triangular looking thing Mhmm.
Not very far above our heads.
And it had these colored lights on it.
哇。
Wow.
And then it's this flash.
And it was weird.
It's just it's just my buddy and I out there.
No one else is out there.
It's at nighttime.
And my mom had said I have be home at a certain time.
And she was very adamant about those things.
Because she didn't grow up necessarily in the country.
But, anyway, so my buddy and I are...
You know, we were there and then, like, this flash.
And I know he saw it, so I saw...
I looked over at him, and he was looking up the same thing.
And and I don't remember anything again till, like, this...
Another flash.
And we were both back.
We were next to our tree fort, and...
But our footprints had partially filled with snow.
And so we haven't gone for some amount of time, but he just looked at me and I looked at him and I was still like, what what the heck?
And kinda like somewhat dazed and confused.
哇。
Wow.
And he kinda looks at me, he's he's he's starts freaking out, he just runs home.
And I hear my mom yelling down the street, you know, yelling for me to get home.
And I'm like, oh, crap.
So I just...
I run home.
And I didn't say anything to her.
I didn't say anything to anybody else.
He and I, we mentioned it a few times, but he didn't wanna talk about it.
And he's now a member of the clergy and just refuses to talk about it.
哇。
Wow.
Because everything's either, you know, an angel or a demon.
Period.
If you can't explain it, it's demonic.
But Wow.
After that, I started seeing more and more of these lights coming in my room at night.
And and then they...
I started getting scared.
I remember after that time, I was scared.
I couldn't move.
I couldn't like yell or scream for my parents.
It was just these lights would come in from both both windows in my room, and then I I would just wake up.
哇。
Wow.
It was it freaked me out.
Freaked me out.
确实。
Absolutely.
And I had no one to talk to about it.
So Sure.
And so I just...
I went about my life.
Like, okay.
Well, this is my normal now.
Unbelievable.
So did you feel like even though, you you know, this was something you needed to deal with in your life, like, this was normal for you, did you realize it wasn't a normal thing?
You know what I mean?
I think I did.
I think I did.
But it it...
In my life, it was normal.
And I can honestly remember those lights happened a lot.
Really?
And growing up, as I got older, I saw what UAP's UFO's, I saw them often.
And my oldest daughter and I have seen them together.
And my my ex wife and I, we had a really weird one in a a completely different state.
And so I saw them often after that.
哇。
Wow.
But the lights, I...
They they never stopped.
They seem to have slowed down now, but I...
Every now and then I do see them.
And this, of course, maybe it is just emergency vehicles going up and down the
路上。
road.
Maybe it is something else.
But anytime I see these a bright, like, bright red and purple and green and yellow lights, like, streaming in the window, at night, I I get spooked.
I I still kinda like there's like this, I don't wanna say PTSD because I feel like that's reserved for somebody who's had something really traumatic and they can explain it, but it's almost like it's PTSD.
I get like, oh, crap.
什么……
What...
What's gonna happen now?
当然。
Of course.
不。
No.
And and it is a level PTSD.
It's unbelievable, honestly, Jas.
So this would sound like, to someone who's familiar with this subject, it would sound like you've been abducted.
Sounds like a classic abduction type of scenario where you have a triangle craft, which is incredible, flying over you and your friend.
Your friend doesn't like to talk about it.
Like you said, he's part of the clergy.
Is that is that Catholic church, or what what type of...
Can you say?
不能。
No.
Evangelical Christian Baptist, to be more specific.
好的。
Okay.
So either way, he's within the clergy and doesn't feel comfortable discussing this as something other than, like you said, angels or demons.
He doesn't even like to talk about it anymore.
Did he ever come to you and talk to you about anything else?
Did he ever experience lights or ever experience seen anything, or did he never just talk about it again after that one time with the triangle?
He never spoke about it again.
I brought it up one time when we were at school, and it was a few years later.
It was it was actually right before I moved away from, Indiana.
And he was like, I'm not talking about that.
He didn't say it didn't happen.
He's like, I'm not talking about that.
哇。
Wow.
And he shut that down.
That's fascinating.
This is why I really want to try, when the opportunity presents itself, as I said at the start of our conversation, to speak to people like you, a normal everyday person, someone would stand behind you in a grocery line at the store and never expect that you have a story like this.
And there are so many people like you, Jas, who have experiences like these from childhood, and they never tell anybody about them.
It's it's for fear of people looking at you funny.
It's for fear of affecting your career.
And also, it's because you're uncomfortable talking about it.
It's something that scares you.
It's something that you decided to put deep down inside of you and try to act like maybe it didn't even ever happen.
There's so many people like you, and that's why I appreciate you so much coming on here to talk about all this today, because hopefully what this does is maybe helps other people like you, Jas, feel comfortable enough to say, well, shoot.
Maybe I should start talking about my experience because there's other people that's...
I'm not alone.
You know?
And so I I speak for anybody else who's listening and thinking that where I say thank you for doing this today and and going over this.
当然。
Absolutely.
Because we definitely need to normalize just people talking about their life experience in general, not just, you know, paranormal or UFO, just just their life experience.
Just be open and honest with people.
And I I can say I I I still feel like I don't wanna talk about it, but I but I do.
And I 100% appreciate that.
I wanna I wanna ask you a little bit more about the lights that you saw growing up after the face to face with that with that creature that day, which seems like the genesis of your experiences.
You mentioned multicolored lights.
Has it has it always been like that?
Multicolored lights, they show up shining through your window, and then you're paralyzed.
You can't move.
Is that pretty much what ends up happening?
开始。
It always started...
And and I say it started.
It starts with a a bright white light.
好的。
Okay.
It's always a bright white light first.
好的。
Okay.
And then just just just after that, it's these multicolor lights like shooting in the room.
Now do you ever remember anybody being in your room?
Any other beings or creatures, or you just remember a light and then it stops?
A light and then it stops.
So is...
Have you...
In those scenarios, have you experienced anything where you realize, wait a minute.
It's three hours later than when I saw this.
Have you had missing time connected with these?
You have?
有过。
I have.
I can't say I've ever looked at like, oh my gosh.
It's this time.
Now it's this time.
But when it happens, I'll I'll wake up and then shortly after, it's it's starting to peak daylight outside.
And I've...
I I would feel very, very, very tired.
And if I slept all night, I I wouldn't have been so tired.
哇。
Wow.
然后……
And...
But, yeah, I can't ever say it's been twenty minutes and a couple hours, what have you, but I can definitely...
有……
There's there...
The absolute loss of time.
Did you feel that as well with the triangle that flew overhead that you had a loss of time?
Not initially, honestly.
Not until, like, I looked down.
I was like, that's weird.
Our our our footprints are know, partially covered in snow...
Filled in with snow.
So at that moment, was like, that's kind of unusual.
But then also, I distinctly remember looking at my green Indiglo watch, and and I I remembered, like, okay.
I have I have an...
I think the time was about another hour ish before I had to be home.
So my mom said I had to be home by 08:00.
And and so there was definitely a missing time.
And then when she's outside yelling and yelling for me to get home, I knew it was past that time.
哇。
Wow.
So what what happened in in that meantime?
I don't remember...
I can't speak to what time it was when I got yelled at to come home, but she was outside.
When I remember when I...
That flash happened again and I was there, I distinctly remember her yelling.
So she'd already been yelling for a certain amount of time, but I got scolded and told to go to bed.
Fascinating.
Again, it sounds like you've experienced the classic abduction type of cases.
Again, There was never anything suggestive to you that would make you have these, you know, thoughts or memories.
These these are things you feel like Right.
You never had anything to make you have these thoughts implanted in your mind, that you actually feel like you experience these things.
Nothing that that was the precursor to it because I wasn't as subjected to anything like that.
Not till years later when I started seeing, like, TV shows or movies that that kinda dealt with the subjects.
Like, oh, that's...
That feels a little too real to me.
And I still...
我……我……
I'm I'm...
The movie Fire in the Sky, great movie.
I have a really hard time watching it, and I could...
我……
I...
In my head, I know why, But there's also the part of you that always doubts yourself.
You know?
Did I really did...
Go through that?
And the fact that I have those medical records showing that there was something that happened to me, And I I know I I know you've viewed those as well, but, like, there's the the evidence suggesting, yes, something did happen.
What happened?
We don't really know.
But those kind of shows, I still don't like watching.
And I love horror movies.
I love mysteries.
I love UFO movies.
But when it starts getting to certain subjects, I'm like, nope.
哇。
Wow.
And totally understandable.
I'm glad you brought up the medical records because I wanted to ask you about that next, Jas, and that is where did this go for you when it came to any health issues that you felt like you were having afterwards?
Mean, why did you feel like you needed to get checked out while all this or after all this was going on?
Never my mind...
Never in my wildest thoughts would I have thought that this this was related to why I was having some problems playing my sports.
I I played baseball.
I ran track.
I played soccer most of my adult...
Or most of my young young adult.
I started playing soccer.
I was about five.
I stopped when I was about 20.
I I ran...
I did all these, you know, sports.
I was always in great shape.
然后……
And...
But in the...
Right, I'd say '98, '99, 1998, 1999, I started getting a lot of pain in my left leg.
It was...
Wasn't, like, super painful at the...
Right out of the gate, but it was like this this annoying, sometimes dolphin sharp pain.
And I had not had any injuries to that other than I did have a ski accident, a snow skiing accident, where I did hyperextend my left leg.
So I was like, okay.
Maybe it's something related to that.
But I hadn't had any kind of car accidents, no motorcycle accidents, nothing, no actual, like, trauma to my leg other than just being hyperextended.
But I kept relating it back to that.
Like, this is really hurts.
It really hurts.
And and I started getting a little bit more atrophy in that that leg because I was gonna favoring it, you know, what people do, I suppose.
But it started affecting my my sports.
And I finally went to my mom.
I was like, I gotta go do I gotta do something about this.
Like, it...
It's really hurting.
It's really affecting me playing sports.
And and she's like, oh, okay.
Well, we'll take you to we'll take you to the doctor.
And so doctor gonna check me out.
It's like, no.
There's no cuts, no scrapes, no no ink...
Nothing suggests.
Must be a soft tissue injury.
So we'll send you in to get x rays and MRI.
We'll do the whole nine yards.
So they do that.
And one of the questions they ask you, which was...
I still laugh about it, but it's funny, but it's not funny.
But the m r...
At the MRI or the x-ray, they ask you, do you have any metal in your leg?
Blah, blah.
Do have any metal in your body?
They'll ask you the MRIs, the X rays, what have you.
And my answer is like, well, no, of course not.
I don't have any implants.
There's nothing.
Never had a knee replacement, anything like that.
And and they're like, okay.
Well, they're both scans, the x rays and the MRI.
They they're like, well, you got something in there because the MRI won't come out correctly because it keeps starbursting on us.
There's So something in your leg.
So they go back to the x rays and they they go do x rays on me and and and there's these three pieces of metal in my left leg.
In my...
You know, one in my...
The front of my front of my calf or my shin, one...
And then two smaller ones.
Well, one longer, one smaller one in my thigh, right around my knee, right where it was hurting, which again, you could chalk that up to, well, knee is usually where it hurts in your leg, but it felt really localized to that.
And so they asked, did you get me...
Did she get me in a car accident or anything like that?
I'm like, no.
Nothing.
No surgeries.
Nothing.
And we...
The doctors are like, we really gotta remove those.
We don't know what those are.
There's there's foreign bodies in your leg.
We need to get...
We need to remove them.
So they did surgery and and they they removed them.
And I I did wake up during that surgery and I I've woken up on a couple of surgeries after that as well.
And I could describe the doctors.
And so that was nothing really to do with it, but it was very traumatic.
That surgery was traumatic in general.
哇。
Wow.
But I was I asked him like, well, before the surgery, can I can I keep them?
I want I want to keep these.
It's kinda cool.
You know?
It looks like it looks like straight pins, like broken straight pins.
And so doctor, he's like, well, I I have no use for them.
行。
Sure.
And I remember after the surgery, they, that the pain was almost almost instantly gone.
I had that surgical pain, which wasn't that bad, but that that constant, pain was gone.
And, but he let me keep them.
I woke up.
I was in recovery room.
And I...
这个……
This...
The little jar was right next to me.
And I made a comment to my mom.
She was there.
And I said, oh, so you let me keep them?
And she's like, yeah, yeah, they're they're right there.
And, well, I don't how many people here...
Your list...
Listeners been through surgery, probably most of them.
But in your recovery room, oftentimes, it's not like a really room.
It's more like a...
Just they they pull this little curtain shut, and Yeah.
You can still see outside.
The nurse is gonna see you kinda peek around.
Well, I know this is gonna sound farfetched, but I...
There was there was some guys standing there that didn't look like they they belonged.
They were wearing suits.
They didn't look like they belonged.
They kinda looked over at me.
They looked up...
I looked back.
他们……
They...
Like, they weren't...
Didn't seem like they're really interested in me, but they looked right at me then turned back around.
然后……
And...
But they weren't talking to anybody.
There was just two of the guys.
There's two guys by themselves.
In suits.
And my mom left.
She's like, yeah, in suits.
And they were in dark suits.
I can't I can't say they were black suits.
好的。
Okay.
But they were darker suits.
And that's where we're going to end part one.
I know kind of a cliffhanger there, but I I can't wait for you to hear the next part because we go right back into it when it comes to those men in the black suits.
Obviously, you know what it sounds like, and it gets stranger actually, believe it or not.
Now obviously, look, there's two things I want to mention here before we're done.
Number one would be what to look forward to in part two.
Of course, like I say, we come to the conclusion of that story concerning the men in the black suits who are at the hospital right after that surgery to take out the pieces of metal shards in Jas' knee.
你会……
You'll...
So we'll hear the conclusion of that story.
And then we get more into his experiences, of course, what else has happened since then.
And then we also talk about his professional life and where he worked is key here and then what he saw at these places.
The culmination of all this is really something which takes me to my next point which is why should we believe him?
You could easily listen to this and say, Well, you know, Stephen, he's probably just making up the story to be on your show.
And that's a perfectly fair speculative opinion to have.
I totally understand if someone has a ton of speculation, they don't believe it.
It might be someone who just wants to question all of what someone is saying.
I totally get it.
You're a skeptic if that's the case.
Or if you're listening and saying, Oh my gosh, I've had stuff like this happen to me and I've never told anybody about it, and I can't believe he's explaining things that have happened to me before.
I thought I was alone in all this.
Now I'm hearing somebody who's had similar experiences to me.
Maybe you feel emboldened.
Maybe now you feel like you're not alone in this and you're comfortable coming out and talking to somebody about it.
There's two sides of the spectrum here.
So I understand if you listen to this with a skeptical ear and you think to yourself, Well, what reason do I have to believe this guy?
He's just this normal guy.
Well, put it all together, listen to both parts, and quite frankly, you can even start to form an opinion from that first part.
I mean, you hear he's not sensational.
This is a guy, what I gathered from Jas, just my personal read and talking to him over the past few months and then of course doing the interview together, This was somebody who was an unwitting experience.
He didn't understand what was happening to him, and he didn't know how to make sense of it, and he didn't feel like he could even talk to anybody about it.
So this wasn't, in my opinion, this is not a guy who is looking for fame.
This is not a guy who's trying to get on, you know, Joe Rogan or any other big show.
He's not clamoring to get on, you know, Jesse Michaels or Chris Ramsey or any other show.
He was even, you know, scared about or hesitant, I shouldn't say scared, but hesitant about reaching out to me in the first place just to tell his story.
In the email, he didn't say, Hey, can I come on your show and talk about it?
Like I said at the start of it, the only reason he came on to talk about it is because I brought it up to him.
I felt like this was an important story to tell for people to hear from somebody that they've never heard from before.
We're so used to hearing from and I don't mean this in a negative way, I just mean it in a fact we're so used to hearing from the same people.
So in some terms, when we're used to hearing from the same people, the same witnesses, sometimes what ends up happening is we pull their story apart and their words start to fall on deaf ears because it starts to sound like white noise.
You're hearing from the same people over and over again.
And again, don't mean that in a negative way.
