干飞钓很难,但没人告诉你为什么 | 第191集

Dry Fly Fishing Is Hard, But No One Tells You Why | Ep. 191

Speaker 0

如果你想真正提升飞钓技术,无论你是刚入门的新手,还是已经练了一段时间的老手,最好的办法之一就是跟其他处境相似的钓友交流、向他们学习。

If you really wanna level up your fly fishing skills, whether you're a brand new beginner or you've been doing this for a while, one of the best things you can do is chat with and learn from other anglers who are in your exact situation.

Speaker 0

对。

Sure.

Speaker 0

向导、装备供应商和其他行业专家确实有很多经验可以分享,但他们的建议未必完全贴合你的具体需求和实际情况。

Guides, outfitters, and other industry experts have a lot of knowledge to share, but it's not always dialed in to your specific needs and situation.

Speaker 0

今天这期《Untangled》节目,我们就来帮你解决这个问题。

Today on Untangled, we're gonna try and fix that.

Speaker 0

这是我们全新推出的《日常垂钓者》系列的第一期节目,我们会和处于飞钓旅程各个阶段的钓友坐下来聊聊。

This is the first episode in our brand new Everyday Angler series where we sit down and talk with anglers who are at every stage of the fly fishing journey.

Speaker 0

他们中有些人并不靠钓鱼谋生,或者可能没太多时间下水,但他们依然热爱这项运动,并且希望成为自己能力范围内的最佳钓手。

The folks who don't do this for a living or maybe have limited time to be on the water, but they still love this sport and wanna be the best angler they can be.

Speaker 0

我们的第一位嘉宾是来自犹他州的Riley Bayles,他玩飞钓大概两年了。

Our first guest is Riley Bayles, an angler from Utah who's been fly fishing for about two years now.

Speaker 0

我和Alex——我在VFC的搭档——今年夏天有幸和Riley一起钓了几天鱼。

Me and Alex, my partner here at VFC, had the opportunity to fish with Riley for a couple of days this summer.

Speaker 0

我印象最深的是他特别想学,愿意尝试各种新招数,当然还有他对飞蝇钓干虫的热爱。

I was struck by how eager he was to learn, his willingness to try new tactics, and of course, how much he loves fishing dry flies.

Speaker 0

另外,Riley对飞蝇钓的全面理解和处理方式也让我非常佩服。

On top of that, Riley really impressed me with his well rounded knowledge and approach to fly fishing.

Speaker 0

他这种钓鱼人的特质,是我们很多人,包括我自己,都值得学习的。

He's the kind of angler that a lot of us, myself included, could learn from.

Speaker 0

话不多说,接下来就是我们要推出的日常钓鱼人系列的第一期节目。

So without further ado, here's the first episode of our everyday angler series.

Speaker 0

这里是Untangled,为所有人打造的飞钓节目。

This is untangled, fly fishing for everyone.

Speaker 0

由Ventures Fly Co.呈现。

Presented by Ventures Fly Co.

Speaker 0

大家好。

Hey, everybody.

Speaker 0

欢迎收听。

Welcome to it.

Speaker 0

这里是《Untangled》,我是主持人斯宾塞·杜兰特,今天做客的是越来越有耐心的莱利·贝尔斯。注意是贝尔斯(Bayles),不是贝勒斯。

This is untangled, and I am your host, Spencer Durant, joined by the increasingly patient Riley Bayles Bayles, not Bayles.

Speaker 0

你好啊,兄弟?

How you doing, man?

Speaker 0

挺好的。

Good.

Speaker 0

不错。

Good.

Speaker 0

好。

Good.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

今天早上录播的时候出了点小状况,不过我们还在坚持录制,保证内容质量。

We've had a few recording snafus this morning trying to get this podcast underway, but we're soldiering on for the content.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

那你最初是怎么被飞钓吸引的?

What drew you to fly fishing in the first place?

Speaker 0

是什么让你下定决心,说好吧,我得把这事儿搞明白。

What what made you say, alright, I gotta I gotta figure this out.

Speaker 1

那是我第一次尝试干式飞钓。

It was so first time I ever tried dry fly fishing.

Speaker 1

挺有意思的。

It was fun.

Speaker 1

我是挺开心的。

Like, I had I enjoyed myself.

Speaker 1

挺好玩的。

It was fun.

Speaker 1

钓到了一条特别小的鱼,不过也没激起什么特别的波澜。

Caught a little teeny tiny fish, but it didn't, spark anything crazy.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

那鱼有多大?

How big was fish?

Speaker 1

我是说,就这么大。

I mean, it was like this big.

Speaker 0

哇,这比我上周钓到的太阳鱼还大呢。

Man, that's bigger than the bluegill I caught last week.

Speaker 1

确实。

Fair.

Speaker 1

就像,

Like,

Speaker 0

我当时的目标就是钓上一条那么大的蓝鳃太阳鱼。

my bad is to catch a bluegill that was like that big.

Speaker 1

哦,对,没错。

Oh, that's right.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我看到了。

I saw that.

Speaker 1

你把它放到了鱼群里。

You put it on school.

Speaker 0

算了,抱歉。

Anyway, sorry.

Speaker 0

你先说。

Go ahead.

Speaker 1

不用了。

No.

Speaker 1

你接着来就行。

You're good.

Speaker 1

我小时候家里好多亲戚都玩飞钓,比如我几个叔叔、好几个堂兄弟之类的。

And so, like, growing up, have family that fly fishes like a bunch of my uncles, bunch of my cousins.

Speaker 1

之前总觉得挺吓人的,一直没敢尝试。

And it just never it was kind of intimidating never try it.

Speaker 1

所以我就一直没去弄。

And so I I just didn't.

Speaker 1

后来我姐夫特别想学这个。

And and then my brother-in-law, he really wanted to get into it.

Speaker 1

他还跟我说,嘿兄弟,我真不知道该怎么搞。

And he was like, hey, man, like, I don't know what I'm doing.

Speaker 1

你也不懂怎么做,咱们就试着弄明白吧。

You don't know what you're doing, like, let's just try and figure it out.

Speaker 1

所以我就去买了套特别便宜的小装备。

And so I went and bought like this really cheap dinky setup.

Speaker 1

大概二十五美元。

It was like $25.

Speaker 1

那玩意儿糟透了。

It was terrible.

Speaker 1

回头看,真的糟透了,但你知道,活儿反正是干完了。

Looking back, it was absolutely horrendous, but it, you know, it got the job done.

Speaker 0

我们几乎所有人一开始都是从那儿起步的。

We all almost all of us start there,

Speaker 1

我想也是。

I think.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

不能说所有人都这样,但基本都是这样。

Shouldn't say we all do, but almost all of us do.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我也这么觉得。

I think so too.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以,就像我说的,第一次其实没什么特别的,虽然好玩,但也没那么夸张。

And so, like I said, the first time didn't really I mean, it was fun, but nothing crazy.

Speaker 1

然后第一次之后过了一两个星期,我自己一个人出去钓了整整八个小时,钓到了两条小鱼——一条小溪鳟和一条小割喉鳟。

And then a week or two later, after that first time, I went out on my own and fished for eight hours straight and caught two small I caught a small brook trout and a small cutthroat trout.

Speaker 1

我也不知道脑子里当时怎么回事,但我就觉得,钓到那些鱼让我特别有成就感,好像自己真的做成了什么事,你懂吗,好像自己琢磨出了什么门道。

And I I don't know what went off in my brain, but I was like, I caught those fish and I just felt so accomplished, like I had done something, you know, I'd I'd figured something out.

Speaker 1

然后这就像点燃了什么东西,真的激起了我好奇的那一面。

And it just kinda sparked this that really would spark the the curiosity side of things.

Speaker 1

然后几个星期后我又自己一个人去了一条新河,我知道有人在那边钓过,有人告诉过我,但我真的不知道会是什么情况。

And then I went out again a couple weeks later by myself to a new river, and I knew they were fishing it, someone had told me they were fishing it, but I didn't really know what to expect.

Speaker 1

结果我在那里钓到了好几条个头不错的鳟鱼,开车回家的时候我就想,我得多来钓鱼。

And I caught a handful of decent sized trout out of that one, and, like, driving home from that, I was like, I have to do this more.

Speaker 1

而且我觉得从那以后,我基本上每周至少钓一次鱼。

And I think it's been I mean, I've consistently fished at least once a week probably since then.

Speaker 0

哦,

Oh,

Speaker 1

哇。

wow.

Speaker 1

夏天的时候钓得更多。

Through the summers a lot more.

Speaker 1

但是,是的。

But Yeah.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

差不多就是这样开始的。

That's kinda what sparked it.

Speaker 0

那是什么吸引你去钓鱼的呢?

So was there anything that drew you to it?

Speaker 0

比如,你小时候钓过鱼吗?

Like, did you fish growing up at all?

Speaker 0

或者

Or

Speaker 1

我其实完全没钓过。

I didn't at all, really.

Speaker 1

我是在卡马斯长大的,就在尤因塔山脉脚下。

Like, I had I grew up in Camas, and so we were at the base of the Uinta Mountains.

Speaker 1

小时候我本来可以天天去钓鱼的。

I could have fished every single day growing up.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

但我就是没去。

And I just didn't.

Speaker 1

我最好的朋友住在附近,我经常跟着他和他哥哥一起去。

Like, I my best friend that lived around the corner, I tagged along with him and his older brother.

Speaker 1

他们特别喜欢玩那种传统的渔具。

They got really into just conventional gear stuff.

Speaker 1

他们能钓到不错的鱼,我记得跟他们在一起的时候看到过,但我自己从来没觉得有意思,就是坐在那儿把东西甩出去,挺无聊的。

And they would catch like, remember looking back, I remember them catching nice fish while I was with them, but I just never really it just seemed kind of boring to me, just kind of sitting there and chucking something out.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

而且如果说常规的装备能让你满意,那也挺好的。

And like if conventional gear does it for you, great.

Speaker 1

但对我来说,我从来就没真正对它产生过兴趣。

But just for me, I just never really was interested in it.

Speaker 0

所以你在脑海里就有一幅画面,想成为那位戴着帽子和烟斗、在亨利·福克河边给大家讲各种虫子拉丁学名的老派先生。

So you had this vision in your head of wanting to be the the old distinguished guy with the hat and the pipe on the Henry's fork who's telling everybody the Latin names of the bugs that he's Yeah.

Speaker 1

那就是我的人生目标。

That's my life goal.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

确实。

For sure.

Speaker 0

嘿。

Hey.

Speaker 0

总得有人来做这件事。

Someone's gotta do it.

Speaker 1

对啊。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

干嘛不是你呢?

Why not you?

Speaker 1

我觉得我戴个烟斗应该也挺像那么回事的

Think I could pull off the pipe with the

Speaker 0

你大概能做到。

You probably could.

Speaker 0

把帽子也摘了就行。

You pull the hat off too.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

没错,还得留着胡子?

For sure, with the mustache?

Speaker 0

不。

No.

Speaker 0

百分之百。

A 100%.

Speaker 0

必须有胡子。

Gotta have the mustache.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

所以不行。

So no.

Speaker 0

这真的很有意思,因为我觉得很多来学飞钓的人以前都钓过鱼。

That's really interesting because I I think a lot of folks who come into fly fishing usually have fished at some point before.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我也这么觉得。

I would think so.

Speaker 1

那当然。

For sure.

Speaker 0

不过对你来说,其实就是你姐夫说,嘿,咱们去试试。

But for you, it was really just your brother-in-law said, hey, let's do this.

Speaker 0

然后那天你猛钓了一阵,结果怎么样?

And then the that day you grinded, it was what?

Speaker 0

钓了两条鱼,花了多少个小时呢?

Two fish and how many hours did

Speaker 1

每天八小时。

Eight you hours.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

那可真够折腾人的。

So that's a grind.

Speaker 0

这可不是件容易事,得逼着自己去做。

That's not easy to do, to force yourself to do.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

所以那天,然后第二天你钓到了几条不错的鱼,那就是让你上瘾的全部原因吗?

So that day and then the the day after that when you caught a few decent fish, that was all it took to hook you?

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

说实话,我觉得那是那种感觉,而且我觉得这和大多数人,或者说很多人,都很相似。

Honestly, like it was and I think it was the feeling and I think this is similar to most well, maybe a lot of people.

Speaker 1

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 1

真正钓到鱼的那一刻太爽了。

The hooking the actual fish was a blast.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

就像鱼上钩的那一刻,那种多巴胺的冲击太棒了。

Like hooking into a fish is like that shot of dopamine is awesome.

Speaker 1

对。

Yep.

Speaker 1

但对我来说,吸引我的是那种解决问题的感觉。

But for me, it was like the the problem solving aspect of it.

Speaker 1

比如一开始根本不会看水流。

Of like, didn't know how to read water.

Speaker 1

在我脑海里,我来到这条河边,其实我从小就在河里玩、游泳什么的。

And in my head, I showed up to this river and I grew up, you know, playing in the river and swimming and stuff.

Speaker 1

但我脑子里在想,我觉得鱼大概会待在那个位置。

But in my head, I'm like, I feel like a fish probably would hang out right there.

Speaker 1

所以我就把飞蝇饵抛到了那边。

And so I, you know, flipped my fly over there.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

那种解谜和解决问题的过程让我特别着迷,彻底把我给吸引住了。

And that that side of like the the problem solving and the puzzle just fascinated me, and it just got me absolutely hooked.

Speaker 0

哦,这真有意思。我觉得让大家沉迷的,就是解谜这种乐趣。

Oh, that's that's so interesting that it's the big I think that's what keeps people on it, is the puzzle.

Speaker 0

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

但让你上瘾的就是这个,对吧。

But that's what hooked you Yeah.

Speaker 0

就是解谜。

Was the puzzle.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

真有意思。

That's so interesting.

Speaker 0

不过,在我们聊战术和深入那些细节之前,之前我们仨——你、我还有亚历克斯——一起出去钓鱼的时候,你有提到你偶尔会和老婆一起钓鱼。

Well, before we talk about tactics and really dive into some of that stuff, while we were out fishing, me and you and Alex, you mentioned that you fish with your wife a little bit.

Speaker 0

而且你当时的说法,如果我没记错的话——要是我记错了,你告诉我。

And the way you phrased it, if I remember correctly, and if I'm wrong, let me know.

Speaker 0

但你当时说的是,你会和她一起出去钓鱼,她大概钓半个小时或一个小时就腻了,随便你怎么说吧,反正她就是不想钓了。

But the way you phrased it was you'll go out and fish with her, and she'll fish for half an hour or an hour and she'll get bored or whatever word you use, but she'll just be done.

Speaker 0

剩下的时间你继续钓,她就在那儿看书。

And she'll read her book the rest of time that you keep fishing.

Speaker 1

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

那你和妻子一起出去钓鱼,那种相处模式是什么样的?

So what's that dynamic like going out and fishing with your wife?

Speaker 0

因为我知道很多人会给Untangle写信提问。

Because I know a lot of folks write in questions to Untangle.

Speaker 0

他们想知道的就是,怎么教自己的另一半去钓鱼?

They wanna hear about how, you know, how do I teach my significant other to fish?

Speaker 0

那你们俩之间又是什么样的情况?

What's that so what's that like for you guys?

Speaker 1

是啊。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以我们的常规安排就是,刚开始她会跟我一起钓鱼,而且通常她钓得比我还多。

So it's so kind of our our go to is, you know, the first little bit, she'll fish with me and she'll usually out fish me Mhmm.

Speaker 1

然后她就想看书了。

And then just wanna read her book.

Speaker 1

幸运的是,她真的很喜欢户外活动。

And luckily, she really likes being outside.

Speaker 1

比如,我们喜欢露营,喜欢徒步,夏天尽量多待在户外。

Like, we love camping, we love hiking, we try and spend as much time outside in the summer.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

是的,钓鱼其实不是她最喜欢的活动,但我觉得她喜欢是因为她看到我有多喜欢,而且我觉得这只是一个借口,让我们能在一起。

Yeah, fishing isn't really like her favorite thing in the world, but I think she enjoys it because she sees how much I like it, and I think it's just an excuse to spend time together.

Speaker 1

至于教她怎么操作,很快就会变得棘手。

As far as like showing her how to do things, it can get tricky really quick.

Speaker 1

我其实听人说过,我记得是我叔叔有一次告诉我,永远不要试着教你的配偶飞钓,因为她会变得...

I actually heard someone I think my uncle told me one time, like, never teach never try and teach your spouse to fly fish because she'll just get

Speaker 0

我听说过。

I've heard that.

Speaker 0

我自己也跟很多人这么说过,是的。

I have told many people that myself Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以这可能会变得棘手。

So it can get tricky.

Speaker 1

我觉得对我来说,一旦到了沮丧的地步,就有点像放手不管了。

I think I think for me, it's like, as soon as it gets to the point of frustration, it's kinda like hands off.

Speaker 1

就像,让她自己去做自己的事情。

Like, it's kinda like, just let her do her own thing.

Speaker 1

但幸运的是,我觉得我们俩都是挺有耐心的人。

But luckily, like, I feel like we're pretty patient people.

Speaker 1

我飞钓的主要动机之一就是它很有趣。

My one of my main motivations for fly fishing is how fun it is.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以一旦变得让人沮丧,因为你知道,我在教别人,你知道,我可以稍微退一步,你明白我的意思吧。

And so as soon as it becomes frustrating because I'm with, you know, because I'm trying to teach someone, it's, you know, it's I'm I'm okay with taking a little step back and stuff, if that makes sense.

Speaker 0

这真是个很好的建议,因为你有多少次在教妻子飞钓的时候对她大喊大叫?

That's a really good piece of advice because how many times you ever yelled at your wife while you've been trying to teach her to fly fish?

Speaker 1

我,我是说,我尽量不喊。

I I mean, I try not to yell.

Speaker 1

我的学生可能听过我喊一

My students maybe have heard me yell a

Speaker 0

几次,

few times,

Speaker 1

但我不确定我是否曾经超级超级沮丧过。

but I I don't know if I've ever gotten like super super frustrated.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

但有一件事是,钓鱼是不是低风险的。

But one thing is like, is fishing low stakes.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

所以如果你在一个有放养鱼的池塘钓鱼,我觉得很多时候会容易一些。

So if you're fishing a pond with stocked fish, I think that's a little easier a lot of the time.

Speaker 1

如果你在高山上钓鱼,我们经常在Uintas钓鱼,如果我们是在高海拔的湖泊钓小型的溪鳟,它们通常很愿意咬钩。

If you're fishing, you know, high mountain we fish a lot in the Uintas, and if we're fishing high alpine lakes with with small brook trout, like, they're pretty willing to take Yeah.

Speaker 1

咬钩。

Take a fly.

Speaker 0

所以你并不是带她去那种有20英寸棕鳟的尾水区,然后说,去吧,亲爱的。

So you're not taking her to some tailwater with 20 inch browns and saying, go for it, honey.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

不是。

No.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 0

不。

No.

Speaker 0

我问这个是因为,很遗憾,我钓鱼的时候对我妻子吼过。

I I just asked that because I I know, unfortunately, I've yelled at my wife while we've been fishing.

Speaker 0

因为我觉得,我知道。

Because I think the I know.

Speaker 0

摇头吧。

Shake your head.

Speaker 0

我知道。

I know.

Speaker 0

我不是个好丈夫。

I'm not a great husband.

Speaker 0

我很惭愧。

I am shameful.

Speaker 0

我第一个承认这一点。

I I'm the first to admit that.

Speaker 0

不是的。

No.

Speaker 0

我听你

I've heard

Speaker 1

跟老婆孩子打电话。

you talk on the phone with your wife and kid.

Speaker 1

我相信你很棒。

I'm sure you're great.

Speaker 0

哦,到时候就知道了,兄弟。

Oh, we'll see, man.

Speaker 0

到时候就知道了。

We'll see.

Speaker 0

谢谢你。

I appreciate it.

Speaker 0

不过我很清楚这一点,挺有意思的,当我带客户的时候,我从来没指望他们能猜透我的心思。

But I know and it's funny because when I guided, I never expected my clients to read my mind.

Speaker 1

对。

Uh-huh.

Speaker 0

所以我对客户从来就没那种期待。

So my clients, I never expected that.

Speaker 0

但不知怎么的,我带老婆去飞钓时,她要是没弄明白,我就忍不住想:你怎么就不懂呢?

But for some reason, when I take my wife out fly fishing and she doesn't get it, I'm just why don't you get it?

Speaker 0

你经常听我聊这个。

You hear me talk about this all the time.

Speaker 0

这 literally 就是我的工作。

It's literally what I do for a living.

Speaker 0

为什么你不……好吧,是的,她确实会。

Why don't you well, yeah, she does.

Speaker 0

但听别人说是一回事,真正了解又是另一回事。

But hearing someone talk about it doesn't equate to knowing it.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

而且我知道这是我一直要克服的最大问题,我得提醒自己别那么暴躁,兄弟,她不可能读懂你的心思。

And I know that's been my biggest thing I've had to work through and remind myself to quit being such a grump is, bro, she can't read your mind.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

你为什么要指望她懂呢?

Why do you expect her to?

Speaker 0

有趣的是,有些人没有这个问题。

It's it's just it's interesting when people don't have that issue.

Speaker 0

我总喜欢拿这个说事,讨论一下,因为这是我遇到的问题。

I always like to pick at that and just discuss it because I it's an issue I run into.

Speaker 0

我其他朋友也遇到过。

Other friends of mine have run into as well.

Speaker 0

我有一个哥们,他除非有向导带着,否则绝不跟他老婆一起钓鱼。

I I got one buddy who he will not fish with his wife unless they're with a guide.

Speaker 0

因为他说这让他太沮丧了。

Because he says it's too frustrating for him.

Speaker 0

我觉得那有点极端。

And I think that's a little extreme.

Speaker 0

我觉得他可能需要在这方面下点功夫。

I think he might need to work on himself a little bit there.

Speaker 0

但我也理解他的想法,是的。

But I also understand where he's coming from Yeah.

Speaker 0

同时,确实,有别人来教是挺好的,因为除此之外,我们也不总是能好好听配偶的话。

At the same time of, yeah, it would be nice to have someone else be the one to teach because on top of that, we don't always listen to our spouses the best either.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

确实。

True.

Speaker 0

所以我觉得这只是一个值得探讨的有趣现象。

So I I think there's it's just an interesting dynamic to pickaxe.

Speaker 0

这确实不容易。

It can be tough.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

而且我觉得这件事没有绝对的对错之分。

And I don't think there's like a right or wrong way to do it.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

我真的很幸运。

I'm really lucky.

Speaker 1

我觉得我妻子很厉害,我只是觉得她太棒了。

I I think my wife is mean, I just think she's amazing.

Speaker 1

她超级有耐心。

She's super patient.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

但她也确实接受了很多我喜欢做的事情。

But she also has like, she's really embraced a lot of the things that I love doing.

Speaker 1

所以我就,哦,不错。

So I Oh, cool.

Speaker 1

我喜欢看足球。

I love watching football.

Speaker 1

她不是从小看足球长大的,但她现在也挺喜欢看足球的。

And she didn't grow up watching football or anything, and she's kind of embraced watching football.

Speaker 1

所以我觉得,只要我们能反过来也这样,比如她喜欢的一些东西,像农贸市场,她喜欢,她最近还迷上了摄影。

And so I think as long as I think as if we can do that back as well, like some things that she she loves, farmers markets, she loves she's gotten into photography recently.

Speaker 1

如果我也能在这方面投入时间,那就变成相互的了,就像我们都对彼此的爱好投入。

And if I can invest time in that as well, it becomes as mutual, like we're just invested in each other's hobbies.

Speaker 0

不。

No.

Speaker 0

这真是个好观点。

That's a really good point to make.

Speaker 0

我喜欢这个。

I I like it.

Speaker 0

说真的,当你和妻子一起出去钓鱼,而且鱼情不错的时候,那真的很有趣。

And all kidding aside, right, when you go when you get to get out and fish with your wife and the fishing's good, it's a lot of fun.

Speaker 0

哦,对。

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

那确实

It's a lot

Speaker 1

很有趣。

of fun.

Speaker 1

太好玩了。

It's a blast.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

我有过几次这样的机会。

I've had that opportunity a couple of times.

Speaker 0

事实上,就在一个月前,我还出去过一次。

I, in fact, even about a month ago, went out.

Speaker 0

她没钓鱼,但我背着孩子,那会儿特别开心。

She didn't fish, but I had the baby on the backpack That was a lot of fun.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

那简直是梦想啊。所以

That's a dream right So

Speaker 0

不过,话说回来,我有时候确实把我老婆吓到了。

apparently, though, I scared my wife a couple of times.

Speaker 0

有一次我走到河水比较深的地方,看起来好像要摔下去似的。

We I walked out into a deeper part of the river and looked like I was gonna fall.

Speaker 1

天哪。

Oh, gosh.

Speaker 1

不过没有,

But no,

Speaker 0

我没事。

I'm fine.

Speaker 0

但显然,她有点紧张。对,

But, apparently, she was a little clenched up Yeah.

Speaker 0

她在岸上看着我们的时候。

On the bank while she watched us.

Speaker 1

但是

But

Speaker 0

我们钓到了鱼。

we caught fish.

Speaker 0

那太棒了。

That was awesome.

Speaker 1

那太厉害了。

That's epic.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

那个孩子,她看起来真的,那是整个徒步过程中她唯一不哭的时候,就是我们抓到鱼的时候。我觉得她只是没见过。

The kid, she seemed really it was the only time of the hike that she quit crying is when we So caught I just think it was new.

Speaker 0

她以前没见过。

She hadn't seen it before.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

太棒了。

That's awesome.

Speaker 0

好,我们来聊聊干蝇钓鱼吧。

Well, let's let's chat some dry fly fishing.

Speaker 1

好。

K.

Speaker 0

好?

K?

Speaker 0

因为之前你跟我还有Alex一起出去的时候,我们花的时间主要都在这儿了。毕竟带人出去拍那段视频,初衷就是帮你提升你想改进的那块儿技术。

Because when you were out with me and Alex, that's what we spent our time doing because the whole idea behind taking someone out and doing that video with them was we want to help you level up in an area where you want to improve.

Speaker 0

而且你当时也说了,你想学会用飞蝇钓法去钓那些你亲眼看到在进食的鱼。

And you had said you wanted to catch fish on a dry fly that you actively saw feeding.

Speaker 1

对。

Uh-huh.

Speaker 0

那你是怎么觉得飞蝇钓比 nymphing(水下拟饵)、抛亮片或者湿式飞蝇这些方式更吸引你呢?

So what is it about dry fly fishing that attracts you to that style of fishing more so than nymphing or throwing streamers or wet flies or or whatever else?

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我是说,我觉得大家提到传统飞钓时,脑子里浮现的通常是干式飞钓。

I mean, I think when you like, when I think of just traditional fly fishing, what comes to mind is dry fly fishing.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

吸引我的是那位

What attracted me to The guy

Speaker 0

烟斗和帽子。

the pipe and the hat.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

没错。

Exactly.

Speaker 1

回到那个话题。

Back to that.

Speaker 1

没错。

Exactly.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yep.

Speaker 1

吸引我的是,我觉得如果你能让鱼浮出水面去吃一个假虫子,这个想法本身就让我着迷。

What drew me to it was this one, I think if you can get a fish to break the surface of the water to eat a fake bug that you're like, that the idea of that is just fascinating to me.

Speaker 1

但吸引我的还有,我是在hopper季节开始接触飞钓的。

But also what drew me to it was I got into fly fishing when it was like hopper season.

Speaker 1

我当时就是随便甩甩蝗虫饵,特别好玩。

I was just, you know, slapping hoppers around, which is super fun.

Speaker 1

对。

Yep.

Speaker 1

而且说实话,它容错率高多了。

But also a little I mean, it's way more forgiving.

Speaker 1

你可以抖动蝗虫饵,我真的很着迷那种在需要的时候,让干蝇呈现出完美死漂状态的感觉。

You can twitch a hopper, you can and I really the idea of getting like a perfect dead drift with a dry fly when that's called for, right, that idea just fascinated me.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以我一直钓到夏末初秋,然后就开始琢磨怎么钓 nymph(水下幼虫拟饵)。

And so I, you know, I fished hoppers till the end of the summer and, you know, early early fall, and then it was I basically just started trying to figure out nymphing.

Speaker 1

后来我发现自己一直没机会赶上那种特别好的鱼群爆发期。

And then by the time, you know, the full circle, I feel like I never really had the opportunity to fish into a great hatch.

Speaker 0

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 1

所以我听过很多这样的故事,说到处都是虫子,满天飞,多得都快看不清了,但我自己从来没经历过那种场面。

And so I I hear these stories of, you know, you there's bugs everywhere and they're flying everywhere and you you can't even hardly see, and I just had never experienced that.

Speaker 1

所以我觉得,如果能辨认出鱼种,看着它们 consistently 浮上来,还能用我的干饵把它们骗着吃下去,我就觉得非得试试不可,这样才能让我的钓鱼技术再上一个台阶。

And so the idea of of identifying a fish, watching one come up consistently, and being able to trick that fish into eating my dry fly, I just I felt like I had to do it in order to level up my my fishing.

Speaker 1

所以嘛……

So

Speaker 0

所以你从事这项活动已经有两年了吧?

So you've been doing this for two years

Speaker 1

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

你从来没遇到过那种鱼群持续抢食的爆发期吧?

And you've never fished into a big hatch where the fish were consistently eating.

Speaker 1

没有。

Uh-uh.

Speaker 1

确实。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我见过几次零星的孵化,就是那种零零星星的鱼跃,我之前钓过蠓虫孵化。

I've seen I've seen a few hatches that were sporadic, like, kind of sporadic rises, like, I I I had fished like a midge hatch before.

Speaker 1

嗯。

Uh-huh.

Speaker 1

用蚊子干蝇钓到几条,那真是太棒了。

Caught a few on a mosquito dry fly, and that I mean, that was awesome.

Speaker 1

但不是我盯着同一条鱼看它浮上来,而是这里一条鱼,那里一条鱼,那边又一条。

But it wasn't I I wasn't watching the same fish rise, you know, it was more of like a fish there, fish here, a fish over there, you know.

Speaker 1

所以我真的没机会亲眼看到那种场面。

And so I just hadn't really ever had the opportunity to see see that.

Speaker 0

那你觉得,遇到大孵化,虫子满天飞,鱼都疯了一样,这种场景。

So do you think that idea of fishing into a big hatch and there's bugs everywhere and the fish are going nuts.

Speaker 0

是不是我们在飞钓中经常吹嘘的?

Is that and we talk that up all the time in fly fishing.

Speaker 0

那被奉为终极目标,但实际上是不是没有你被灌输的那么常见?

That's held up as the holy grail in Is a lot of that not as common as you were led to believe then?

Speaker 0

或者,或者

Or or

Speaker 1

我得说不是这样。

I would have to say it's not.

Speaker 1

我不觉得,也许

I don't and maybe

Speaker 0

这是不是有点名不副实?

it's a false bill of goods or something?

Speaker 1

嗯,也许只是我钓鱼的方式不同。

Well, maybe it's just the the kind of fishing that I do.

Speaker 1

比如,我倾向于在小溪流钓鱼,也喜欢去高山湖泊。

Like, I I tend to fish smaller creeks, and I tend to fish high alpine lakes, and k.

Speaker 1

你知道,我尽量避免去当地的尾水区,因为人太多了。

You know, I don't I I try to avoid the local tailwater just because there's too many people.

Speaker 0

对。

Yes.

展开剩余字幕(还有 480 条)
Speaker 0

对,确实有。

Yes, there are.

Speaker 1

不过说实话,我心里一直觉得迟早能碰上那种大爆发,结果一直没发生。我就有点纳闷,是我技术不行,还是漏掉了什么关键信息?

But, yeah, like, I in my head, I felt like eventually, was gonna fish into this great hatch and it kinda never happened and I was sort of, like, shoot, like, do I suck at this or am I missing something?

Speaker 1

到底是怎么回事呢?

Like, what what's the deal here?

Speaker 1

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 1

所以我觉得,尤其是社交媒体上,确实是这样。

And so I do think and I think especially with social media, like, see Yes.

Speaker 1

你知道的,人们举着三十英寸的褐鱼,他们钓鱼的时候走进一个孵化场,到处拍那些虫子。

You know, people holding up 30 inch browns and they're, you know, fishing, you know, they walk into a hatch and they film just bugs everywhere.

Speaker 1

我觉得新手们会以为,哦,钓鱼就该是这样的。

And I think as beginners, we think like, oh, that's what fishing's gonna be.

Speaker 0

而且很多人

Every And a lot

Speaker 1

大部分时候并不是这样。

of the time, it's not.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

没错。

Exactly.

Speaker 1

每天都这样。

Every day.

Speaker 1

其实很多时候并不是那样的。

And it's it's not that way a lot of the time.

Speaker 0

嗯,说到我们遇到的干飞羽化期,我觉得我得再多补充几点注意事项。

Well, I I I need to add more caveats than when I talk about the dry fly hatches that we get into.

Speaker 0

不过我确实觉得,从夏天到秋天,傍晚时分还是能看到相当不错的羽化现象的,对吧?

I I do think you see a fairly decent amount of hatches in the evenings through summer and into fall though, don't

Speaker 1

是吧?

you?

Speaker 1

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 1

当然。

For sure.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

这也是我注意到的,特别是刚开始钓鱼的头一年半,大部分时间我都是中午有空。

And that's something that I've noticed too is, like, when I was especially these last the first year and a half of fishing, is most of the time I would have time, you know, middle of the day.

Speaker 1

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 1

或者就是下午三点到五点,或者三点到六点能去钓鱼。

Or it was like, I would be able to fish from like three to five or three to six.

Speaker 1

就是只有几个小时能出去。

Like, I just had a few hours where I could go out.

Speaker 1

现在钓鱼多了,特别是这次旅行,我才发现,哦,原来这就是昆虫孵化时的样子。

And now that I've fished a little bit more and especially on this trip, I mean, I was like, oh, this is what a hatch looks like.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

比如,晚点收工,或者早点起床,更有可能的是你会

Like, you stay out a little bit later, maybe you get up a little bit earlier, more more than likely you're gonna

Speaker 0

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 1

多卖出一批鱼苗。

Sell a little hatch.

Speaker 0

所以与其说是我卖给你假货,不如说是时机没掌握好。

So it's less of I sold you fake goods and more of more of just not having the timing down.

Speaker 0

可能也没完全搞懂时机这块儿的问题。

Maybe not understanding the timing part of it too.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

我

I

Speaker 1

觉得

think

Speaker 0

这是时间在一天中重要性的一个方面,对吧。

that's And how part of important time of the day is and Okay.

Speaker 1

天气也很重要,比如如果是晴天的话。

When weather too, like if it's Yes.

Speaker 1

我注意到,比如下毛毛雨的日子,你知道,那种蓝色调都消失了,是的。

Like I've noticed like the drizzly days, you know, the the bluing it all has come off Yeah.

Speaker 1

稍微好一点。

A little bit a little bit nicer.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

尤其是在春天。

Especially in the spring.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以这点我之前其实没太在意,虽然听说过,但当你正处在忙碌阶段,比如上大学、结婚或者忙其他事的时候,很多时候你只有短短几个小时能去钓鱼。

And so that's something that I didn't really and I don't and like I had heard I had heard that, but when you're in the thick of, you know, going to college or getting married or whatever it is, it's like a lot of the time you only have a couple hours to fish.

Speaker 0

你能去的时候才能去,而且得好好利用。对。

You you can only go when you can go and you gotta make Yeah.

Speaker 0

把时间充分利用起来

The most of

Speaker 1

没错。

Exactly.

Speaker 1

所以这事儿确实有点棘手,对吧,想找点线索都不容易。

And so it's that can get kinda tricky to, yeah, to see to find some hatches.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

所以不行。

So no.

Speaker 0

这真的特别有意思,因为吸引我的一大原因也是那些鱼群活跃期。

That's just so interesting because that's I that's a big part of what drew me to it as well was the hatches.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

这也是我为什么这么喜欢干飞钓的原因。

And that's why I love dry fly fishing so much.

Speaker 0

而且我也特别幸运,经常能赶上好多鱼群活跃期。

But then I'm I'm also extremely lucky I get to get into a lot of hatches too.

Speaker 0

所以,是的。

So Yeah.

Speaker 0

不是的。

No.

Speaker 0

你刚才说的那种经历挺有意思的,确实是这样。

That's that's interesting that that was the experience you had because yeah.

Speaker 0

一旦碰上那种鱼群爆发(hatch),钓鱼真的特别好玩,但有时候也会让你觉得自己啥也不懂,完全摸不着头脑。

Those hatch they they are just there's so much fun to fish when you get into a hatch like that, but then they also will make you feel like you don't know what you're doing.

Speaker 0

比其他任何东西都更甚。

More so than anything else.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

真的就像,而且我知道最难的部分是什么,因为你和我们一起遇到了那次孵化。

It's really like and I know what's the hardest part then when you because you got into that hatch with us Yeah.

Speaker 0

我们在那里的时候,那些天钓鱼时有什么虫子冒出来?

Where we were out there and what bugs were coming off those days that we fished?

Speaker 0

有点像是石蛾。

It was caddies a little bit.

Speaker 0

嗯嗯。

Uh-huh.

Speaker 1

我们还看到了一些黄萨利。

And we're seeing some yellow sallies.

Speaker 0

黄萨利。

Yellow sallies.

Speaker 0

然后还有三月褐蜉。

And then there were the March browns

Speaker 1

嗯。

Uh-huh.

Speaker 0

还有蜉蝣,然后还有蝉,对。

Mayflies, and then there were cicadas Yep.

Speaker 0

也在孵化。

Hatching too.

Speaker 0

所以你有,你有很多选择。

So you had you had a lot to pick from.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

那么当你遇到这样的孵化时,难在哪里?

So when you get into a hatch like that, what is what's tough about that?

Speaker 1

对我来说,最强烈的感觉就是,你知道,光我们看到的就有四种不同的虫子。

I mean, it's for me for me, the overwhelming feeling of, like, there's, you know, four different bugs just that we can see.

Speaker 1

对。

Yes.

Speaker 1

感觉就像,我们该从哪里开始呢?

It's like, where do we even start there?

Speaker 1

然后还得选对鱼饵,接着还要担心怎么抛投。

And then it's like, gotta pick the right fly, and then you're worried about presentation.

Speaker 1

但我觉得,嗯,

But I think the yeah.

Speaker 1

我觉得当多种虫子同时出现时,最难的是弄清楚鱼到底在吃什么。

I think the hardest part when multiple bugs are coming off is figuring out what the fish are actually eating.

Speaker 1

因为虽然石蛾在周围飞来飞去,但并不意味着鱼就盯着石蛾吃。

Because just because the caddis are bouncing around doesn't necessarily mean they're keyed in on the caddis.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以这就变得棘手了。

So that that can get tricky.

Speaker 1

那对我来说确实挺棘手的。

That was tricky for me for sure.

Speaker 0

那你后来是怎么弄明白的?

So how do you figure that out then?

Speaker 0

因为我知道这是我们在VFC经常听到的问题,就是比如初夏的时候,虫子很多,因为那时候确实有各种各样的东西在孵化。

Because I know that's a question we hear all the time here at VFC is I go out and, yeah, maybe it's early summer and there's a lot of bugs out because that's when you do have a huge variety of stuff hatching.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

那你怎么决定这个时候该绑哪个呢?

How do you how do you decide which one to tie on at that point?

Speaker 0

你的流程是什么?

What what's your process?

Speaker 1

是的。

So yeah.

Speaker 1

我从你们那里学到的一件事,就是试着把它用到日常钓鱼中,那就是坐下来观察。

So one thing that that I learned from you guys is that I'm just like, I've tried to implement in my everyday fishing is just sitting and watching.

Speaker 1

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 1

很多时候,你可能觉得没时间坐下来观察,但我觉得这总是值得的。

Like, a lot of the time, you don't feel like you have time to sit and watch, but it's always worth it, I would argue.

Speaker 1

比如你到了地方,只有一小时,那就坐下来观察十分钟,甚至五分钟也行。

Like, if you pull up and you only have an hour, sit and watch for ten minutes, five minutes even.

Speaker 1

所以关键就是观察,看哪些虫子真的落在水面上。

And so that was one thing, is just sitting and watching what bugs were actually landing on the water.

Speaker 1

然后,这对我来说算是颠覆性的,因为我听别人说过,但总觉得,是啊,可没人有时间那么做。

And then, yeah, that was like that was kind of groundbreaking for me because I'd heard people say that, but it's kinda it was kinda one of those things where I was like, yeah, but nobody has time for that.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

但观察真的非常重要,就是坐下来看。

But that that was huge, was sitting and watching.

Speaker 1

还有那些浮起的样子。

And then the rise forms too.

Speaker 1

所以你们指出的一个问题是,你知道,当它们吃石蛾时,浮起的样子会溅起更多水花。

So one thing that you guys pointed out is, you know, a a cattice rise when they're hitting cattice, it's a little more splashy.

Speaker 1

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 1

因为石蛾有点笨拙。

Because the cattice are a little more they're so they're kind of clumsy.

Speaker 0

确实。

They are.

Speaker 1

它们确实是的。

They're so yeah.

Speaker 1

有点好笑。

It's kind of funny.

Speaker 1

所以浮起的样子会溅起更多水花,而吃蜉蝣时,很多时候它们会浮上来轻轻啜食。

So the the the rises are a little more splashy, and then with, a mayfly, a lot of the time, they they kinda come up and they sip the mayfly.

Speaker 1

这对我来说也特别有意思,你只要在河里找个地方,观察鱼浮上来,就能从它们的水花大致判断出来。是的。

And that was really interesting to me too, where you could actually see it if you just pick a spot in the river and you watch the fish rise, you can kinda tell from their rice forms Yeah.

Speaker 1

它们在吃什么。

What they're eating.

Speaker 0

你提到这个我真的很高兴,因为我们在VFC经常讨论这个,而且我们之前并没有商量过。

I'm I'm really glad you brought that up because that's we talk about this all the time at VFC, and we we didn't we didn't powwow before this.

Speaker 0

我没有让Riley提这个。

I didn't tell Riley to bring that up.

Speaker 0

那完全是自然而然的。

That was all organic.

Speaker 0

但是关于观察和等待的价值,怎么强调都不为过。

But that about the value of watching and waiting, it's hard to overstate that.

Speaker 0

但我也觉得人们会认为要看出鱼到底在吃什么很难。是的。

But I also think that people assume it's going to be very difficult to spot what the fish are actually eating Yeah.

Speaker 0

他们就会直接略过。

That they'll just skip it.

Speaker 1

对。

Mhmm.

Speaker 0

因为,我自己也经常这样,觉得某件事会很难。

Because and I'm I'm so guilty of this where you think something's gonna be really hard.

Speaker 0

觉得它发生的可能性不大,所以干脆就不做了。

The likelihood of it happening is not very high, so you just skip it altogether.

Speaker 0

我觉得这是人之常情,

I think that's human nature in

Speaker 1

在很多

a lot

Speaker 0

方面。

of ways.

Speaker 0

所以人们会跳过那个非常重要的步骤,就是观察、等待、学习,看看鱼到底在吃什么。

And so folks will skip that that's very important step of watch and wait and learn and see what the fish are actually eating.

Speaker 0

对你来说,做到这一点有多难?

How hard was it to actually do that for you?

Speaker 0

有没有你想象的那么难?

Was it as tough as you thought?

Speaker 1

我一开始确实觉得,刚开始观察鱼跃的时候,我就想,我肯定看不出鱼到底在吃什么。

I definitely thought well, when we first started, like, watching the rises, I I was like, there's no way I'm gonna be able to tell what the fish are actually eating.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

然后我真的看到一只蜉蝣,你知道,很优雅地飘过来,落在水面上,漂了一小会儿,然后一条鱼浮上来把它吃了。

And then I literally watched a mayfly, you know, kinda drift all daintily, land on the water, and go for a little bit, and then a fish came up and ate it.

Speaker 1

我当时就想,哦,原来这样,我花了几分钟就看到了。

And I was like, oh, like, that just took me a couple minutes to to watch that.

Speaker 0

而且很值得。

And it was worth it.

Speaker 1

哦,百分之百值得。

Oh, 100%.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

因为我本来会绑一个石蛾,就像看到所有的石蛾在蹦跶,因为石蛾多得多,这也是有趣的地方。

Because I would have tied on a caddis, like just seeing all the caddis bounce because there were way more caddis, that was what was interesting too.

Speaker 1

石蛾比蜉蝣多得多。

Way more caddis than there were mayflies.

Speaker 0

我们之前说过,这有时是一种掩护性孵化,你看到最多的虫子不一定是它们吃的。

And we talked about that being a masking hatch sometimes where the bug that you see the most of isn't necessarily what they're eating.

Speaker 0

而是最容易被它们获取的。

It's what's the most available to

Speaker 1

对。

them.

Speaker 1

没错。

Exactly.

Speaker 0

尤其是石蛾,因为它们飞来飞去的,在水面上待的时间不长。

And with caddis, especially because they're so flighty, they they don't spend a lot of time on the water surface.

Speaker 0

蜉蝣待的时间长得多。

The mayfly spent way more time.

Speaker 1

当然。

For sure.

Speaker 0

所以,是的。

So it's yeah.

Speaker 0

这种观察和等待,太有价值了。

That watch and wait, it's so valuable.

Speaker 0

我觉得有很多技能对钓鱼人来说很重要,但可能对初学者来说,这个几乎是最重要的。

I think there's a lot of skills we can talk about that matter the most for anglers, but I think that might be especially for beginner, it might be darn near near the top.

Speaker 1

我也这么觉得。

I would yeah.

Speaker 1

我肯定也这么认为。

I would say so for sure.

Speaker 1

我觉得你可以学到很多,即使只是坐在那里,是的。

I think you can learn I learned so much even in just sitting there for Yeah.

Speaker 1

而且我们确实,比如我和亚历克斯,有次坐了好一会儿。

And we did end up, like, Alex and I ended up sitting for a while at one point.

Speaker 1

那感觉真的很放松,但我也学到了很多,真的。

And it was almost like it was really relaxing, but it was also I learned so much Yeah.

Speaker 1

就看着那些虫子,再看看鱼。

Just watching watching the bugs and watching the fish.

Speaker 0

真的特别有意思。

It really It's a lot of fun.

Speaker 0

不。

No.

Speaker 0

谢谢你提醒这点,我觉得这对我们所有人都是一个很好的提醒。

I thank you for bringing that up because I I think that's a great reminder to all of us.

Speaker 0

我们确实得这样做。

We gotta do that.

Speaker 0

因为我是花了很长时间才明白的。

Because it took me a long time.

Speaker 0

我也经历过那个阶段,就是特别容易兴奋。

I was in that same boat where I just get excited.

Speaker 0

我一到河边,就只想钓鱼。

I get to the river, just wanna fish.

Speaker 0

我不会坐着,我们说的是观察。

I'm not gonna sit we're talking about watching.

Speaker 0

我不会去观察。

I'm not gonna watch.

Speaker 0

我要钓鱼。

I'm gonna fish.

Speaker 0

然后当你真的去观察的时候,你会觉得,哇,那真是太酷了。

And then when you do it, you're like, oh, that's pretty stinking cool.

Speaker 0

这就是为什么我要观察,看鱼在做什么,它们的行为是怎样的。

That's why I watch to watch what the fish are doing and how they're behaving.

Speaker 0

你看到那些鱼浮起来的地方,有没有让你感到意外?

Were you surprised at where you saw some of those fish rise?

Speaker 1

哦,是的。

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我很惊讶。

I was shocked.

Speaker 1

为什么?

Why?

Speaker 1

嗯,我本来以为它们会浮出水面,你知道的,经常听说鱼在接缝处活动。

Well, so I was kind of expecting them to rise, you know, you hear a lot about fish the seams.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

钓泡沫线,你知道的,泡沫区就是鱼的家,诸如此类的。

Fish the foam line, you know, foam is home, all that stuff.

Speaker 1

我们观察到的大部分鱼都在浅滩区,而且水流还挺急的那种。

And they were most of the fish that we were watching were in riffles, pretty fast riffles too.

Speaker 1

浅滩区其实是个很不错的作钓点。

And riffles can be great.

Speaker 1

但在我心里,我其实想的是,对,我会一开始就钓那条水线,你知道的。

But in my head, I was kinda like, yeah, like, I'll fish the seam right off the bat, you know.

Speaker 1

而且我对它们的位置感到震惊,对。

And I was shocked at at where they yeah.

Speaker 1

有多少鱼,实际上甚至有时候在几乎不流动的水里。

How much fish water, are actually Even like barely moving water sometimes.

Speaker 1

就像,这太疯狂了。

Like, it's it's crazy.

Speaker 1

它们到处冒出来。

They rise everywhere.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

是的。

Yep.

Speaker 1

它们就像,到处都是。

They're like, they're everywhere.

Speaker 1

所以我当时特别惊讶,是的。

And so I was very much surprised Yeah.

Speaker 1

没想到它们分布得这么广泛。

At how how all over the place it was.

Speaker 0

所以如果我们当时没有停下来观察和等待,你就会错过那些有鱼的水域。

So if we hadn't stopped and watched and waited, you would have skipped water that had fish.

Speaker 0

因为

For

Speaker 1

当然。

sure.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

绝对是这样。

Most definitely.

Speaker 0

这又是大家该去做的一个理由了。

Just another reason to do it, folks.

Speaker 0

别跳过它。

Don't skip it.

Speaker 0

这太重要了。

It's so important.

Speaker 0

这

It's

Speaker 1

绝对值得。

worth it for sure.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

那么关于干蝇钓,你之前提到过一点,但对你来说,学习干蝇钓最难的部分是什么?

So with dry fly fishing then and you you poked at this a little bit, but what's been the toughest part of learning to fish with dry flies for you?

Speaker 0

是什么让你想抓狂,干脆去用 nymph 钓法?

What what was the part that made you wanna, like, tear your hair out and fish with nymphs instead?

Speaker 1

幸运的是,我已经没有头发可以抓了。

Luckily for me, I don't have hair to tear out anymore.

Speaker 1

就剩我的胡子了。

Just my mustache.

Speaker 1

不过,是的。

But yeah.

Speaker 1

对我来说,最简单的答案就是呈现方式。

I mean, the simple answer for me would just be presentation.

Speaker 1

就像,我甚至想到第一次绑上飞钓毛钩和第一次绑上干蝇的区别。

Like like, I even think of the difference between the first time I tied on a streamer and the first time I tied a dry fly on.

Speaker 1

我不是说飞钓毛钩容易,但我第一次绑上飞钓毛钩就钓到了一条鱼,而且我当时根本不知道那是什么。

And I'm not saying streamer fishing's easy, but I caught a fish first time I tied a streamer on, and I had no idea what it was.

Speaker 1

我就是把它甩出去,让它随水流摆动,然后就钓到鱼了。

I just, like, chucked it out there and let it swing and caught a fish.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我当时就想,哦,那真是太酷了。

And I was like, oh, that was I was like, that was cool.

Speaker 1

我第一次用干式飞蝇的时候,被鱼拒了大概57次,我就想,我到底怎么了?

First time I tied on a dry fly ever, I had, like, 57 rejections from the fish, and I was like, what is wrong with me?

Speaker 1

这太糟糕了。

Like, this is horrible.

Speaker 0

就像高中时约女孩一样。

It's like back in high school asking a girl

Speaker 1

去搭讪。

to paw.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以展示方式真的很难,尤其是要做出自然漂流的效果。

And so the presentation is really tricky, especially if you have to get a dead a dead drift.

Speaker 0

而且有时候你不需要自然漂流。

And sometimes you don't need a dead drift.

Speaker 0

有时候你需要让它摆动。

Sometimes you need it swinging.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

就像,但不是

Like But not

Speaker 0

太过了,因为那样看起来就不真实了。

too much because then it doesn't look real.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

或者像钓石蛾的时候,有时候你想要一点,你知道的,一点弹跳的感觉。

Or like with Caddis, sometimes you want a little, you know, a little bounce to him.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

这确实挺难的。

It's it's tricky.

Speaker 1

所以整个呈现方式,所有的一切,就像,是的。

And so the the presentation just all of it, like yeah.

Speaker 1

尤其是,你知道,导引线。

Just, you know, mending especially.

Speaker 1

比如,用干蝇导引线把我整惨了,到现在对我来说还是很难。

Like, mending with a dry fly kicked my trash, and it's still like, it's tricky for me.

Speaker 1

为什么?

Why?

Speaker 1

因为,嗯,用 nymph 导引线感觉更宽容一些,尤其是当你用指示器钓鱼的时候,因为你身上有更多的重量。

Because it well, so mending with nymphs, feel like, is a little more forgiving, especially with your when you're fishing an indicator, just because you got way more weight on.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

比如,如果你只有一个甚至只是像十四号 parachute Adams 这样的,而且你还有任何飞线在外面,要导引线而不……真的很难。

Like, if you have a single even just like a size fourteen parachute Adams and you have any fly line out, it's pretty tricky to not, you know, to mend and not

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

放下你的……好的。

Drop your Okay.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以那起初也让我很头疼。

And so that kinda kicked my trash at first too.

Speaker 1

所以Alex在指导我。

So Alex was walking me through that.

Speaker 0

这动作比你想的要轻得多,对吧?

It's a much lighter movement than you would expect, isn't Yeah.

Speaker 1

而且你抛出的飞线越少,这对很多人来说可能是显而易见的。

And the less fly line you have out and this is kind of a no brainer for a lot of people, maybe.

Speaker 1

但对我来说,我甚至没意识到,我太专注于把飞蝇抛得足够远,但实际上,飞线越少,调整你的前导线和末梢线比调整飞线要容易得多。

But for me, I didn't even I was so focused on getting my fly out far enough, but it was like, the less fly line you have out, it's so much easier to mend your leader and tip it than it is to mend any fly line.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yep.

Speaker 1

所以即使只是加一两英尺的末梢线来延长你的前导线,那也是被低估的。

And so even if throwing on a foot or two of of tippet to extend your leader, like that is an underrated

Speaker 0

对,它

Yes, it

Speaker 1

确实。

is.

Speaker 1

我觉得是技巧问题。

Skill, I think.

Speaker 0

没错。

Yep.

Speaker 0

这种技巧没法刻意练习,只能靠实战积累。

It's one of those like, you can't really practice mending, you just have to do it.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

没错。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

就像练抛竿一样,但修线这事儿,你只能直接上手去练。

It's one of those that you practice casting, but practicing mending, you just gotta go do it.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

没错。

Exactly.

Speaker 1

太好了。

Awesome.

Speaker 1

肯定是展示的问题。

Presentation for sure.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

我觉得这在很多情况下都是如此。

I I think that's I think that's pretty true for a lot of it.

Speaker 0

但我觉得好处是,你确实会学到很多关于如何展示其他飞蝇的技巧。

But the nice thing I I think too about it is you do end up learning a lot about how to present other flies

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

一旦你掌握了呈现技巧。

Once you figure out presentation.

Speaker 0

我觉得,对于任何一种,而且也许我猜,你有没有机会钓过一些 nymph 和 streamer?

I think I think with any of them, I and maybe I I guess do you see you've had the opportunity to fish nymphs and streamers a little bit.

Speaker 0

嗯。

Uh-huh.

Speaker 0

你觉得干蝇的呈现技巧和 nymph、streamer 的呈现技巧之间有很多关联吗?

Do you see much correlation between presentation with your dries and the nymphs and streamers?

Speaker 1

太多了。

Tons.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我觉得这有点,嗯,有趣的是,你开玩笑说 nymphing 很容易,比如,哦,是的,nymphing 很容易。

I think it's kind of a well, it's funny, like, you you joke about the about nymphing, like, oh, yeah, nymphing's easy.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

谁都能做到。

Anyone can do it.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

但这是那种,比如,我在开始玩干蝇钓之前,都没注意到我的 nymph 钓组有那么多拖拽。

But it is one of those things, like, nymphing is one of those I didn't start noticing all the drag that I had on my nymph rigs until I started dry fly fishing.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我当时就想,哦,现在这个正在拖拽。

Where I was like, oh, that's that's dragging right now.

Speaker 1

就像,我敢肯定那看起来不太自然。

Like, that I'm sure that doesn't look super natural.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yep.

Speaker 1

然后说到飞钓饵,飞钓饵的关键就在于呈现方式,而且显然是一种不同的呈现方式。

And then with streamers, it's streamers is all about presentation and it's a different kind of presentation, obviously.

Speaker 1

你知道,我觉得很多时候,你至少希望你的飞钓饵有一点动作。

You know, I would say a lot of the time, you want at least a little bit of movement in your streamers.

Speaker 1

对。

Yep.

Speaker 1

但我觉得这有助于你,因为干式飞钓时,你会非常专注于呈现方式,这能让你意识到,在你所有其他的钓鱼方式中,这才是钓鱼的精髓。

But it helps you I feel like with dry fly fishing, you're so laser focused on the presentation that it helps you realize with all your other other forms of fishing, that it's all that's what fishing is all about.

Speaker 0

你觉得这能帮助你更好地想象那些你看不见的飞蝇的呈现效果吗?

Do think it helps you visualize the presentation better with the flies you can't see?

Speaker 1

我觉得当然可以。

I think so, for sure.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

这个概念我一直觉得很难教,不管是在播客里还是在我们的钓鱼视频里,你能看到干式飞蝇在水面上的表现,但大多数时候你看不到你的 nymphs。

That's a concept that I have a hard time figuring out how to teach, whether it's on the podcast or in one of our how we fish videos where you know you could see the dry fly and you can see how it's acting on the water, but you can't see your nymphs most of

Speaker 1

大多数时候。

the time.

Speaker 0

大多数时候你也看不到你的 streamers。

You can't see your streamers most of the time.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

所以你必须想象它应该是什么样子。

And so you've gotta have this visualization of what it needs to look like.

Speaker 0

我觉得如果你能做到这一点,就更容易把它实际应用到水面上。

And I think if you have that, it's easier to translate that to actually happen on the water.

Speaker 0

我是不是想错了?

Am I up in the night

Speaker 1

还是你?不。

or do you No.

Speaker 1

我百分之百同意。

I a 100% agree.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我觉得钓干式飞蝇就像,你很多时候能得到即时反馈。

I think dry fly fishing is like, you get immediate feedback a lot of

Speaker 0

你确实能。

the You do.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

所以就像,很多时候你能看到鱼抬头看,如果它们又沉下去,

So it's like and a lot of the time, you can see the fish like, look up and If they go back

Speaker 0

那

down, the

Speaker 1

那种情况就像,哦,今天

one that's like, oh, today

Speaker 0

去租。

to rent.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

用拟饵的话,你根本不知道鱼是不是在拒绝你的拟饵。

With nymphs, it's like, have no idea if they're rejecting your nymphs.

Speaker 1

你可以猜,但我觉得飞蝇钓能帮你

Like, you can you can guess, but I think dry fly fishing can help you

Speaker 0

调整一下?

Dial that in?

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

注意你的 nymph 钓组上的阻力,或者

Notice kind of the drag that you have on your nymph rigs or

Speaker 0

这又是为什么干飞钓鱼在世界上占据主导地位的原因之一。

Yet another reason why dry fly fishing reigns supreme in the world.

Speaker 1

说得对,兄弟。

Amen, brother.

Speaker 0

哦,哟。

Oh, yo.

Speaker 0

不开玩笑了。

All kidding aside.

Speaker 0

这真的太好玩了。

It's just so much fun.

Speaker 0

就是,就是

It's it's

Speaker 1

确实如此。

It really is.

Speaker 0

而且我在最近的节目里已经聊过很多次了。

And I've talked about this a lot on recent episodes of the show.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

就是做你喜欢的事。

It's do what you enjoy.

Speaker 1

百分之百。

100%.

Speaker 0

对我来说就是这样,对你显然也是如此。

That's just what it is for me and for you, obviously, as well.

Speaker 0

这就是我们喜欢的事情。

It's just it's what we enjoy.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

如果你今天重新开始飞钓,完全是新手,充满热情和乐观。

If you were starting over fly fishing today, you're starting brand new, bright eyed, and bushy tailed, all full of optimism.

Speaker 0

你会从学习干蝇钓开始,还是觉得你会从学习若虫、飞绳钓或湿蝇开始?

Would you start out learning how to fish with dry flies, or do you think you would start out learning nymphs or streamers or wet flies?

Speaker 1

哦,天哪。

Oh, man.

Speaker 1

如果我要重新开始的话。

If I was starting over.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

听起来很痛苦。

Sounds miserable.

Speaker 1

开玩笑的。

Just kidding.

Speaker 0

不。

No.

Speaker 0

有时候确实会,因为你会想到现在拥有的所有知识,以及获得这些知识所付出的代价。

It does sometimes because you think of all this knowledge you have now and what it took to get it.

Speaker 1

那些日子,是的。

When the days yeah.

Speaker 1

那些被打得落花流水的日子。

The days of just getting your butt kicked.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我就想,哦,我可不想回去。

I'm like, oh, I don't wanna go back.

Speaker 0

就是准备把一切都卖掉的时候?

Of just being ready to sell everything?

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

开始打高尔夫什么的?

Start start golfing or something?

Speaker 0

再也不干这行了。

Never doing this ever again.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

不。

No.

Speaker 1

我得说,我得说是干式飞钓。

I would have to say I would have to say dry fly fishing.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

光是学到的那些东西,比如我们刚才聊的展示技巧,还有其他方面,就已经让我成为更好的钓手了。

Just the the amount of even just the things that I've learned, like we were talking about with presentation, with other things, like, just has made me a better angler.

Speaker 1

而且我觉得,如果你能——我也觉得,我会说干式飞钓是最有成就感的。

And I think if you can I also think drive I would argue dry fly fishing is the most rewarding?

Speaker 1

所以如果你能从干式飞钓开始,我相信有人会反驳,但无所谓。

And so if you can start out with dry fly fishing, and I'm sure people anyone can argue that, whatever.

Speaker 1

但对我来说,就是能骗鱼一路游上来,对。

But for me, it's like being able to trick the fish to come all the way up Yep.

Speaker 1

这真的挺有成就感的。

Like, that's pretty stinking rewarding.

Speaker 1

而且确实如此。

And then It is.

Speaker 1

正确扬竿,真的,太神奇了。

Setting the hook correctly, like, it's it's amazing.

Speaker 1

所以我觉得如果我从干式飞钓开始,然后让这些概念慢慢渗透到其他钓鱼方式中,我想,我想那会更好。

And so I think if I started out with dry fly fishing and then let those concepts kinda trickle down into my other fishing, I think I think it would have been yeah.

Speaker 1

我肯定会那么做。

I would definitely do that.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

我有点同意你的看法。

I kinda agree with you.

Speaker 0

很多人一开始学的是用若虫,我也是,但我希望我没有那样。

I started out a lot of people learning with nymphs, and I wish I wouldn't have.

Speaker 0

因为我确实觉得,先学飞钓,好处会更多,我是这么认为的。

Because I do think drive fly fishing, learning that first has a lot more benefits, I think.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

不是说它比其他钓鱼方式更好。

Not that it's better than any other form of fishing.

Speaker 0

我只是觉得,对很多人来说,它在学习过程中带来的好处更多。

I just think it's got more benefits for the learning process for a lot of people.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我也这么觉得。

I think so too.

Speaker 1

太好了。

Awesome.

Speaker 0

除了听这个获奖的优秀播客和我们在VFC的视频之外,对你成功掌握飞钓来说,最大的技巧或教训是什么?

Well, other than listening to this award winning excellent podcast and our videos here at VFC, What's been the biggest tip or lesson that's helped you succeed with dry fly fishing?

Speaker 1

如果是

And if it's

Speaker 0

这里的内容也行。

something from here too, that's fine.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

开玩笑归开玩笑,对吧?

Mean Kidding aside, right?

Speaker 0

我们就是这么做的,就是去教别人。

That's what we do, we try and teach.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

不是的。

No.

Speaker 1

就像你们那样,对吧?

Like you guys yeah.

Speaker 1

就像我得到的信息,我的意思是,我一刚开始钓鱼,我姐夫就说,哥们,我刚发现了这些人。

Like I the information that I I mean, as soon as I started fishing, my brother-in-law was like, dude, I just found these guys.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

他们教新手,然后我们就开始尽可能多地看他们的内容。

They teach beginners, and we just started watching everything we could.

Speaker 1

但我认为重要的是获取信息,然后去河边、湖边或溪流里实践。

But I think it's really important to take the information and then go apply it on the river or the lakes or streams or whatever it is.

Speaker 1

特别是干蝇钓,把假蝇放在鱼面前,让它们看起来逼真,就像那样。

For dry fly fishing specifically, the put flies in front of fish and make them look real, like that.

Speaker 1

比如,如果你只知道这一点关于飞钓,我觉得你就能成功,因为事情很容易被复杂化,也很容易陷入追求最新蝇饵或最新技巧的漩涡,但如果你能让那只虫子看起来逼真,你就会收获满满。

Like, if you just know that about fly fishing, you can be successful, I think, because it's so easy to overcomplicate things, and it's so easy to get caught up in the the newest fly or the newest tactic or whatever it is, where it's like, if you can make that bug look real, you're you're in you're in for a treat.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

所以我觉得那个建议就是,尽可能多学。

And so I think that advice of just, yeah, learning as much as you possibly can.

Speaker 1

而且有一点就是,我有点那种强迫症的性格。

And that's one thing that I'm like, I I have kind of an obsessive personality.

Speaker 1

我其实不太会,但如果我迷上某件事,我就会全身心投入。

I don't really if I get into something, like, I'm all in.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

对于飞钓来说,就像,我不再听音乐了。

And for fly fishing, it's like, I don't listen to music anymore.

Speaker 1

我直接听播客。

I get straight straight podcasts.

Speaker 1

我列了一个四五个播客的清单,都是我听的。

I got a list of four or five podcasts that I listen to.

Speaker 1

哦,那太棒了。

Oh, it's awesome.

Speaker 1

而且它们一直在播放。

And it's they're just constantly playing.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

而且视频方面,我除了飞钓视频基本不看别的,因为我想尽可能多学点,然后去实践,再分享给我的朋友和家人。

And the videos, like, I don't really watch anything except for fly fishing videos because it's like, I wanna learn as much as I possibly can, and then I wanna go apply it and I wanna share it with, you know, the my friends and family.

Speaker 1

那太棒了。

That's awesome.

Speaker 1

因为这对我来说太有趣了。

Because of how much fun it's been for me.

Speaker 0

在《Untangled》的每一集里,我们都会回答问题。

So in every other episode of Untangled, we take questions.

Speaker 0

我们喜欢回答所有听众和观众的问题。

We like to answer questions from all the listeners and viewers.

Speaker 0

我们还是会这样做,但这次我想让你来回答。

And we're still gonna do that, but I'm gonna have you them this time.

Speaker 0

哎呀。

Oh, boy.

Speaker 0

那我们来做一轮快速问答,我挑了一些最近经常被问到的问题来跟你过一遍。

So we're gonna do a little rapid fire question round, and I just grab some commonly asked questions that we've gotten a lot of recently to go through with you.

Speaker 0

首先,你余生只能用一只干蝇和一只若虫钓鱼。

So first up, you only get to fish one dry fly and one nymph for the rest of your life.

Speaker 0

你会选哪两只?为什么?

What are you picking and why?

Speaker 1

我能选不同尺寸的吗?

Can I have different sizes in those flies?

Speaker 1

可以。

Yes.

Speaker 1

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 1

我觉得不选降落伞亚当斯就太傻了。

I mean, I feel like I'd be silly not to go with the parachute Adams.

Speaker 1

因为即使你选个大号的降落伞亚当斯,甩下去,它们可能会误以为是蚂蚱。

Because even you pick a big parachute Adams, slap that down, They might mistake it as like a hopper.

Speaker 1

我不知道。

I don't know.

Speaker 0

有可能。

They might.

Speaker 0

我在石蝇孵化时钓过它们。

I've fished them in stonefly hatches.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

好吧,我盒子里只有那个。

Well, that's all I had in my box.

Speaker 1

就是这样。

There you go.

Speaker 1

所以,是的,我觉得我可能会选降落伞亚当斯。

So, yeah, I I feel like I'd probably have to go with a parachute Adams.

Speaker 1

若虫。

Nymph.

Speaker 0

当然,我们问了干蝇专家关于若虫的问题。

Of course, we asked the dry fly guy the nymph question.

Speaker 0

所以

So

Speaker 1

我不知道。

I don't know.

Speaker 1

我的意思是,很难不提到斑马蚊,因为它们太……我是说,你可以全年钓它们。

I mean, it's hard to not say in zebra midge just because they're so I mean, you can fish them year round.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我可能不得不说是斑马蚊。

I'd probably have to say zebra midge.

Speaker 0

好的。

Alright.

Speaker 0

我觉得这对钓鳟鱼来说很不错。

I think that's pretty good for trout fishing.

Speaker 0

这很难被超越,是的。

It's gonna be tough to beat that Yeah.

Speaker 0

好的,没问题。

All alrighty.

Speaker 0

你会花一千美元或更多钱买一根飞钓竿吗?

Would you ever spend a thousand dollars or more on a fly rod?

Speaker 0

为什么或为什么不呢?

Why or why not?

Speaker 1

我其实刚和我妻子聊过这个话题。

I just had this conversation with my wife actually.

Speaker 1

因为我给她看了一根竿子,她说那太离谱了。

Because she she's I was showing her a rod and she was like she's like, that's ridiculous.

Speaker 1

不可能。

There's no way.

Speaker 1

所以我认真想了想。

And I was and so I thought a lot about it.

Speaker 1

我觉得,我真的不觉得我会买。

I think, I really don't think I would.

Speaker 1

我会试着找找有没有折扣之类的。

I would try and find a discount of some sort.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我觉得我没法说服自己花一千美元买一根飞钓竿。

I don't think I could bring myself to spend a thousand dollars on a fly rod.

Speaker 0

但为什么呢?

Why not though?

Speaker 0

这是你热爱的事情啊。

It's something you love doing.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

是的。

It is.

Speaker 1

就是那一千块钱,不知怎么的,在我心里总觉得是个坎儿。

It's just the thousand dollars for some reason in my head.

Speaker 1

我就在想,这钱花得值不值,我有点拿不定主意。

I'm like, I don't know if I can justify that.

Speaker 1

除非到了非买不可的地步,不然……

Unless it got to the point where shoot.

Speaker 1

哎呀,你这一说,我都开始怀疑自己刚才的决定了。

Now you're making me second guess myself.

Speaker 1

不客气。

You're welcome.

Speaker 1

不行。

No.

Speaker 1

我得说声不。

I gotta say no.

Speaker 1

我得拒绝。

I gotta say no.

Speaker 1

我会花,是的。

I would spend yeah.

Speaker 1

我得花不到一千美元买一张往返机票。

I would have to spend less than a thousand dollars on a flight around.

Speaker 1

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 0

你之前提到过,你挺喜欢露营的。

So you mentioned earlier though, you like camping quite a bit.

Speaker 1

哦,对。

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

那你会在露营装备上花大钱吗?

So would you spend big money on camping gear?

Speaker 1

我可能会,对吧?

I probably would Yeah?

Speaker 1

因为这对我妻子和未来的孩子有好处。

Because it would benefit my wife and my future kids.

Speaker 0

那么,一根好的飞钓竿也一样。

So so would a nice fly rod.

Speaker 0

确实。

That's true.

Speaker 0

因为快乐的丈夫是更好的丈夫。

Because a happy husband is a better husband.

Speaker 1

确实。

That's true.

Speaker 0

如果你有好东西,你会开心的。

And you're gonna be happy if you got nice stuff.

Speaker 1

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

确实。

That's true.

Speaker 1

哎呀,天哪。

Oh, man.

Speaker 0

我只是在这里唱唱反调而已。

I was just playing devil's advocate here.

Speaker 0

我其实并不在意。

I don't really care.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

我只是好奇,因为现在飞钓竿之间的差距真的很大。

I'm just curious because there is that big chasm between fly rods these days.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

有人们真正买得起的,然后就是那种上千美元的。

Stuff that people can actually afford, and then the thousand dollar

Speaker 1

我还要说,我试过上千美元的飞钓竿,我当时就想,哇,这竿子真不错。

I plus will say, like, I've casted a thousand dollar fly rod before, and I was like, man, this is a nice rod.

Speaker 1

但我也注意到,它上面全是那些花哨的东西,最花哨的配置。

But I also noticed that it had all the fancy had the fanciest stuff on

Speaker 0

对。

it.

Speaker 0

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 1

对我来说,就像我有一根旧鱼竿,是我爷爷给我的,大概值600美元。

And for me, it's like like I have an older rod that my granddad gave me that's I mean, it's probably a $600 rod.

Speaker 1

我没觉得这两根竿子有太大区别。对。

And I didn't notice a huge difference between the two Yeah.

Speaker 1

不知道这么说你能不能理解。

If that makes sense.

Speaker 1

当然,我还是个新手,你知道的。

And granted, I'm still, you know, I'm still a beginner.

Speaker 1

但所以也许这就是我的答案,我宁愿花500、600、700美元。

But so maybe that's that would be my answer is I'd rather spend 500, 600, 700

Speaker 0

你不需要那些花哨的东西。

You or don't need all the fancy stuff.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

不需要最高档的软木握把那些。

Don't need the highest end cork grip and all that stuff.

Speaker 0

嗯,就像汤姆·摩根,他以前拥有温斯顿,后来卖掉了温斯顿,在去世前创办了汤姆·摩根钓竿公司。

Well, and it's like Tom Morgan, he used to own Winston, and then he sold Winston and started Tom Morgan Rod Smith before he died.

Speaker 0

他是有史以来最有影响力的钓竿设计师之一。

One of the most influential rod designers to ever live.

Speaker 0

他有句话:好飞钓竿永远是好飞钓竿。

He had a saying, a good fly rod is always a good fly rod.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

我百分之百相信。

And I believe that a 100%.

Speaker 1

当然。

For sure.

Speaker 0

那些老款的,比如老款的Winston,我收藏了一大堆老款Winston,它们都很棒。

That the old stuff, like, the old Winston's, I've got a big collection of the old Winston's, they're great.

Speaker 0

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

老款的像Sage XP,老款的Sage,嗯。

The old say the Sage XP, the old sages Mhmm.

Speaker 0

我喜欢那些轻巧的东西。

Love those sneaking things.

Speaker 0

它们钓起来特别有意思。

They're so much fun to fish.

Speaker 1

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

因为它们就是好竿子。

Because they're they're just good rods.
