I think we've all been there before, out on the water, having a decent day, throwing some pretty good accurate casts and feeling like, hey, I might actually be an okay caster.

结果一阵傻风突然刮起来，瞬间你就觉得自己不会投了。

Then the stupid wind shows up and all of a sudden, it's like you don't know how to cast anymore.

投出去的线到处乱飞，完全没准头。

Your accuracy is all over the place.

想投远也投不远，好不容易有一次投对了地方，结果甩得太猛，飞线啪地砸在水面上，河里所有的鱼都被吓跑了。

You can't get the distance you need and on the rare occasion that your cast end up where you want, you probably slap the water so hard with the fly line that every fish in the river spooks.

今天我们聊一个特别有意思的话题，作为本周的建议，就是刮风天怎么抛竿钓鱼。

And we have got a really interesting topic to talk about today for our tip of the week, and that's fly casting in the wind.

我知道大家经常问到这个问题。

And I've I know we get a ton of questions about that.

其实就是关于飞蝇钓的基本技巧。

It's just fly casting in general.

我们在播客里很少聊这个，因为如果不亲眼看到，真的很难理解。

And we don't do a ton of it on the podcast because it's one of those things that's hard to understand if you're not seeing it.

但关于在风中作钓，还是有一些基本原理值得讲一讲。

But I think there's enough foundational principles about casting in the wind specifically.

我们可以在这儿聊聊，我相信你们能想象出那个画面。

We can discuss them here, and I think you'll be able to visualize them.

我接下来要讲个小故事。

And I'm gonna tell a little bit of a story.

但我们最近去佛罗里达钓鲈鱼，结果转去钓了骨鱼、鲹鱼、红鲷鱼，还有其他几种鱼，这次旅行让我学到了很多。

But our recent trek out to Florida to fish for bass, we ended up going for tarpon, jacks, snook, a few other fish as well, taught me a ton on that trip.

我回家后最大的体会就是：我的飞蝇抛投简直太烂了。

And I think the biggest lesson that I came home with was my fly casting sucks.

尤其是在有风的情况下，简直一塌糊涂。

It especially sucks in the wind.

幸运的是，我们在那儿的时候总算找到一些问题的解决办法。

And luckily, I was able to troubleshoot it a little bit while we were there.

我在这档节目里一直说，我的抛投水平顶多算中等，这点我绝不改口。

And one of the things I've said here on the show for a long time is I'm probably an average caster at best, and I'll I'll stick to that.

我觉得自己的抛投能力就在平均水平线上。

I I think I'm right in the middle of the pack as far as casting ability goes.

不过话说回来，我也确实教过不少抛投技巧，拍过不少相关视频。

But with that said, I I do feel like, you know, we've I've taught casting enough, done videos on casting.

我对抛投的力学原理掌握得挺扎实的。

I've got this good knowledge of casting mechanics.

我清楚当抛投出现问题时，通常能找出原因。

I understand when my casts aren't working out, I can usually diagnose why they're not working out.

不过，知道问题出在哪，和改掉二十多年养成的肌肉记忆，完全是两码事。

Now knowing why it's not working and then changing the muscle memory from better part of twenty years of fly casting are two completely different things.

但我对飞钓抛投的理解已经足够，心里大概有数了。

But it's I I understand enough about the fly cast that, you know, I'm like, okay.

我可以继续微调，慢慢提升这项技能。

I I I can continue to to make these tweaks and get better at it.

我分享这些，并不是想显得自己是个多么厉害的高手。

And I share that not to be like, oh, I'm some fancy fly caster.

但你也别怀疑自己，别低估自己的知识储备，毕竟在抛投技术上，我和大家水平差不多。

But, you know, don't doubt yourself and your knowledge of it either because, you know, I'm right I'm right there with the rest of y'all in terms of casting ability.

我还以为，毕竟我来自怀俄明州，我肯定很擅长在风里钓鱼呢。

And I also thought that, especially being from Wyoming, that I knew how to fish in the wind.

我能在风里抛飞蝇饵。

I could fly cast in the wind.

但佛罗里达的风真是让我吃尽了苦头，那风不是一阵一阵的，而是持续不断。

But that Florida wind, it just kicked my butt in a lot of different ways because the wind wasn't gusting.

我们怀俄明这边通常是大风猛吹一阵，停一下，再猛吹一阵，停一下。

We usually get pretty big gusts here in Wyoming, and it'll gust hard and stop for a second, and gust hard and stop for a sec.

可佛罗里达的风是整天都不停地刮。

But in Florida, it was just constant all day long.

而且我们也不是在漂流船上，往岸边三十英尺外抛 nymph 钩组或者蚱蜢诱饵。

And on top of that, we weren't just throwing nymph rigs or hopper droppers 30 feet to the bank out of the drift boat.

We were down in Florida to fish for bass, all those other fish that I mentioned as well.

我们确实也花了一些时间在咸水区钓鱼。

So with and we did spend some time in the saltwater.

不管是钓鲈鱼还是咸水鱼，我们都用八号、九号的竿子，抛巨大的假饵，有些地方还得用很重的沉水线。

So with both the bass and the saltwater stuff, we're fishing eight, nine weight rods, really big flies, pretty heavy sink tip lines in some spots.

So really heavy gnarly rigs that they're not easy to cast in great conditions, and then they get really tough to cast when the wind picks up.

第一天开钓时，风不算特别猛，但就是一直不停地吹，就像我之前说的那样。

And the first day we started fishing, the wind wasn't wasn't awful, but it was just consistent, like I was saying.

我当时坐在船尾，跟着我朋友马克斯的小船。

And I was in the back of the boat around my buddy Max's skiff.

我坐在船尾。

I was in the back of the boat.

我手里拿着九号竿，配上一个超大的 bass 飞蝇。

I had a nine weight and this giant bass fly.

那是马克斯版的速蠕虫，差不多吧。

It was Max's fly version of a speedworm, basically.

我朝着一堆枯枝和睡莲叶的方向抛投，那里本该有大口鲈鱼藏着，可风却迎面吹来，我全得顶着风钓鱼。

And I was fishing towards these piles of sticks and lily pads where there were some large mouth that should've been hanging out, and I'm I'm doing all of that with the wind in my face.

我一开始的做法是，大概过了半小时我才意识到：我整个人绷得太紧，犯了所有人在逆风抛投时都会犯的错——拼命加快速度，使劲发力，想硬把整条线怼过去。

And what I started doing, and I realized this after probably half an hour, but I tensed up and I made the few classic mistakes that I think all of us make when we start casting into the wind, which is I tried to cast faster, I tried to cast harder, and I wanted to really muscle all of my fly line through the wind.

我根本就没让钓竿发挥它该有的作用。

And I absolutely did not let the fly rod do the work it's designed for at all.

大概挣扎了半小时，拼命想把蝇饵甩到该去的地方，马克斯一把拿过了我的钓竿。

Then after about a half an hour struggling with it, just trying to force this fly to get where it needs to be, Max grabs my rod.

他跟我说：‘给我吧。’

He's like, here.

我来教你该怎么弄。

Let me show you what to do.

他做的每一件事都跟我完全相反。

And he did everything exact opposite of what I was doing.

他的动作特别放松。

He had a nice relaxed cast.

他把钓竿轻轻贴在身体一侧。

He held the rod low into the side.

一个完美 Timing 的双抛线，轻轻一送，那个大号速蠕虫就稳稳地飞出去了六十英尺。

Beautiful, perfectly timed double haul, and then he launched that giant speed worm like 60 feet without a problem.

我当时特别羡慕。

And I was really jealous.

然后我又觉得自己特傻，居然做不到。

And then I also felt like an idiot because I couldn't.

我一看他这么操作，立马就明白了，哦，原来是这样。

As soon as I watched him do it, I'm like, oh, yeah.

这还用说吗。

Duh.

我问题就出在这儿。

That's what I'm doing wrong.

但就是得花点时间才能反应过来，因为风一迎面吹来，人就容易本能地使蛮力，反而看不清全局——原来自己错在这儿。

But it it just took a minute for it to click because, again, the wind starts blowing in your face, and I think these instincts kick in, and sometimes can make it hard for us to to have that thousand foot view of, oh, this is what I'm doing wrong.

咱们来仔细看看这些错误，分析为什么在风中这么抛投是错的，然后再讲讲正确的做法。

So let's dive into these mistakes, go through them, why they're the wrong way to cast in the wind, and then we'll talk about what you should be doing instead.

第一个错误就是用力过猛。

So mistake number one is casting way too hard.

看起来就是整个人都在动，肩膀使劲往前顶，腰甚至还会扭一下。

And what this looks like is really moving kinda moving your whole body, really putting your shoulder into it, maybe even twisting your waist a little bit.

你就是想靠蛮力把竿子、线和假蝇硬怼过风去。

You're really trying to just power that rod and line and fly through the wind.

说来好笑，这可能是我犯得最严重的错误。

And it it was funny that this was probably the most egregious of my mistakes.

我在这点上比其他错误都更严重。

I was more guilty of this than the rest of them.

挺讽刺的是，我以前教新手的时候，一再提醒他们别这么做，现在还是这么说，我想我们的教学视频里也提过：别这么干。

It's funny that I that I had that though because I used to tell all of the beginners that I taught back when I guided fly fishing, and I think I still tell them, I think it's in our casting video too, don't do this.

别使太大劲。

Don't cast too hard.

如果你使劲甩竿，想靠蛮力把东西硬送出去，等肩膀开始酸了，那基本就是你用力过头了。

Because if you're if you're trying to move the rod with a lot of force, you're really trying to just muscle that thing through, and you're swinging it around at the point that your your shoulder starts to get sore, then honestly, you're casting too hard.

别忘了，飞蝇竿的设计本来就是为了抛投飞蝇线的。

Because fly rods, you have to remember, they're designed to cast fly lines.

它们就是专门设计来做这件事的，就算刮风也能正常发挥。

They're literally built to do this job, and they're built to do it even when it's windy.

明白吗？

尤其是刮风的时候，更得让鱼竿自己去发力。

And especially when it's windy though, you need to let the fly rod do the work.

当然，我们待会儿会讲几个小技巧，能帮鱼竿更好地破风，但别硬逼着鱼竿去完成你的抛投——否则你会搞出尾环缠绕，飞蝇甩到后脑勺上，或者节奏全乱，最后线组堆成一团，前面全是乱糟糟的线和导线，还得再解开一次，谁也不想干这事儿。

Now you can help the rod cut through the wind a little bit better with a few things that we're gonna talk about in a sec, but don't try to force the rod to make your cast because what's gonna happen is you're gonna end up with tailing loops that get tangled, You're gonna hit yourself in the back of the head with the streamer, or your casting rhythm is gonna fall apart to the point that your fly just lands at a giant pile of line and leader in front of you, and then, yeah, another tangle that you get to undo, which no one wants to do that.

所以别使劲儿硬推，别靠蛮力把鱼线甩到空中。

So don't try to muscle and power and force the fly line through the air.

让鱼竿自己去完成它的工作。

Let the rod do the work.

这正是它设计的初衷。

That's what they're built to do.

你得让它好好发挥它的作用。

You need to let it do its job.

我犯的第二个错误是抛得太快了，我觉得这其实特别自然。

Mistake number two that I made So I was casting too fast, and I think this is also very natural.

刮风的时候，你自然想把竿子甩得快点，觉得只要飞线动得够快，就能更容易破风。

When it's windy, you wanna move the rod faster because you think, if I can get this fly line moving really quickly, it's gonna have an easier job of cutting through this wind.

你这么想其实没错，但加快竿子的运动速度，并不能让飞线真正加速。

And that's you're actually right about that, but moving the rod quickly isn't the way to get your fly line moving quicker.

我马上就会讲到这一点，因为线速在这里非常关键。

And I'm gonna get to that in a minute because line speed is something that's very important here.

好的。

不管风是刮到每小时三十公里，还是完全无风，你的抛投动作都不该变。

Your casting stroke shouldn't change whether it's blowing 20 miles an hour or if it's completely still.

明白吗？

Alright?

竿子在抛投时，依然需要足够的时间来蓄力和释放。

The rod still needs time to load and unload during the cast.

不管有没有风，鱼竿都需要时间来完成这个动作。

Whether it's windy or not, the rod still needs time to do that.

明白吗？

它需要时间把能量从竿子传递到飞线，而且每次抛投后，线也需要时间完全展开。

It needs time to transfer energy from the rod into the fly line, and then your line needs time to straighten out on each cast.

尤其是使用更大、更重的假饵时，通常需要更长的时间。

And with bigger, heavier flies, especially, that often takes longer.

如果你用五号竿钓大蚱蜢加垂钓组合，会发现每次抛投后线展开的时间，比只用一只十六号干蝇长得多。

So if you're fishing a big hopper dropper rig on your five weight, you're gonna notice that it takes longer for each cast to straighten out than if you're just fishing a single size 16 dry fly.

明白吗？

因为你加在钓组上的重量越大，抛投时产生的能量就越多，鱼竿弯曲的程度也越深。

Because the more weight that you add to your rig, the more weight that creates energy during the fly cast and the deeper your fly rod ends up bending.

所以，你用的钓组越重、越大，鱼竿反而会感觉越慢，因为它要弯曲得更深，才能承受更大的重量。

So your heavier, bigger rigs are actually gonna make some rods feel slower than if they were cast with just a single fly because they're bending deeper to handle the extra weight of that bigger rig that you've got on.

我知道自己是个物理学家，这点应该挺明显的——毕竟播客录音棚里没见试管，我也开不了宝马。

Now, I know physicist, which hopefully is obvious by the lack of test tubes in the podcast studio and the fact that I don't drive a BMW.

我敢说，我讲的这些关于重量、力之类的说法，从技术上讲可能不准确，但这是我脑子里理解抛投过程的方式——当你加了这么多额外重量的时候。

So I'm sure that the way I explain this all is technically wrong about, like, weight and force and all that stuff, but it's how I visualize things that make sense of the casting process in my head where you've got all this extra weight.

这样会让竿子弯得更厉害。

It's gonna make the rod bend more.

竿子和线都要花更长时间才能完全伸直，每个抛投动作都是如此。

It's gonna take longer for that rod to straighten out, the line to straighten out, both during each casting stroke.

明白吗？

所以别光因为风就去调整你的抛投速度或动作。

So don't adjust your casting speed, your casting stroke just for the wind.

你真正该调整的，只有在用重饵的时候——那时候确实得放慢一点。

The only time you should really adjust it is for casting heavier rigs because you do need to slow down at that point.

让竿子在每次抛投中充分弯曲和回弹，这样才能根据饵的重量做出理想的投掷。

Let the rod completely load and unload during each casting stroke to get a good cast based on how heavy your rig is.

明白吗？

别因为风大就加快动作。

So don't let the wind speed you up.

就按你平时的方式投就行。

Just cast like you normally would.

我犯的第三个错误是，竿尖一直抬得太高。

And then the third mistake I made was that I kept my rod tip straight up in the air.

整个过程中我都把竿尖举得老高，每次投掷都试图把飞线高高地甩到身后。

I kept it super high the entire time, and I tried to carry all that fly line out behind me way high in the air during every cast.

遇到这种风天，这么做真的会很麻烦。

And when it's windy like that, that can really mess with you.

其实更好的做法是，别把竿尖直着举高，而是往侧面投。

It actually pays to, instead of keeping the rod tip straight up in the air, cast more off to your side.

你肯定在视频里见过，不是所有飞蝇投掷都非得把竿尖抬到正上方。

I'm sure you've seen it in videos where not every fly cast is straight up in the air.

很多情况下，竿子都会稍微偏向一侧。

A lot of them are off to the side a little bit.

不过要注意，你得让鱼竿尖始终保持直线运动。

Now the caveat here is you wanna continue to keep that fly rod tip moving in a straight line.

千万别画圈，那样会严重影响你的精准度。

You don't wanna move it in like a circle because that's gonna destroy a lot of your accuracy.

但如果你能把鱼竿放得几乎水平，像平行于水面那样向前抛，只要保持标准的抛投动作，这样反而更能穿透风力——因为靠近水面的风速，比九英尺高空的风要慢得多。

But if you can just move the fly rod so it's almost horizontal and cast above the water that way, kinda parallel to the water, As long as you keep your casting mechanics solid, you continue to do things, that's actually gonna cut through the wind better because the wind is gonna be moving slower down towards the surface of the water than it is nine feet in the air.

你可能会想，这真能有多大差别呢？

Now you might think, okay, well, how big of a difference is that actually gonna make?

实际效果比你想象的要大得多。

That makes a bigger difference than you would think.

有时候，把鱼竿放平了抛，比高高举着竿子更容易破风。

Sometimes it is a lot easier to cut through the wind when you move the rod that horizontal position instead of keeping it straight up in the air.

对吧？

Right?

这些就是我之前犯的错误。

So those were the mistakes I made.

我用力太猛了。

I was casting too hard.

我抛投得太快，而且竿子一直举得太高。

I was casting way too fast, and then I was keeping the rod straight up in the air.

我们之前已经聊过怎么纠正这些问题了。

And we already talked about how to fix most of those.

对吧？

Right?

让竿子自己去完成动作。

Let the rod do all the work.

不管有没有风，抛投的动作都要保持一致。

Keep your casting rather than the same regardless of whether it's windy.

如果风特别大，就把竿子放平，别再竖着抛了。

And then if it's really blowing, move that rod to horizontal instead of vertical for your casting.

但我之前也提到过，如果你觉得这样能更快地让飞线动起来，让它更有效地破风，从技术上讲也是对的。

But I also mentioned that it's technically correct if you think that, okay, I'm gonna get my fly line moving quicker, and it's gonna cut through the wind more effectively.

你还记得我提过这一点吗？

Remember me mentioning that?

你当时说‘对’。

Saying, yeah.

这确实是处理这个问题的正确方法。

That's a 100% the right way to go through this.

这时候，就涉及到一个叫‘线速’的概念了。

Well, that's where this concept called line speed comes into play.

你可能会听到人们说，这款竿能产生很高的线速，或者那款竿线速比较慢。

And you might hear fly rods describe as, oh, this one generates really high line speeds, or this one's a slower line speed.

你肯定听过这种说法。

You might hear that.

他们说的其实就是飞线在抛投过程中移动的速度有多快。

What they're talking about is how fast your line's moving during the cast.

明白吗？

K?

因为如果你能让飞线快速移动，也就是获得高线速，就会形成更紧致的线环。

Because, basically, if you can get your fly line moving quickly, you get it moving with a high line speed, it's gonna create slightly tighter loops.

这次抛投中蕴含的能量更多了。

There's a more energy in that cast.

抛投的精准度也会随之提高。

It's gonna end up with more accurate cast.

但这样做的副作用是，额外的线速和能量在有风时特别有用，它能帮你轻松穿透风阻，而无需改变你的抛投动作，不用蛮力硬推或强行弯曲鱼竿。

But the side effect of that is that extra line speed, that extra energy also helps when you're dealing with the wind because it gives your cast that extra oomph to cut through the wind without messing with your casting stroke, without over muscling, empowering, and forcing the rod to bend to your will.

你根本不需要做这些。

You're not doing any of that.

保持原有的抛投动作，只要让线速更快，就能自然获得你需要的那股能量——这正是你试图通过加快动作或猛力抛投来实现，却往往达不到的效果。

Keep your same casting stroke, but if you can make the line move more quickly, it's got that extra energy that you need that you're trying to force into it with speeding up or casting hard, but you're not achieving through either of those things.

所以，最好的方法是：我该怎么提升线速？

So the best way to do this how do I get my line speed up?

对吧？

Right?

别把鱼竿动得更快。

Well, don't move the rod faster.

那我该怎么做？

How can I do it?

其实特别简单。

It's actually really simple.

你需要学会并掌握双段拉线法。

You need to learn and master the double haul.

这是我经常用的一种抛投技巧。

This is a casting technique I use all the time.

我可能用得太多了，现在都有点依赖它了，但确实非常有效。

I I probably use it too much, and it's probably a crutch at this point, but it is very effective.

你要做的就是，手里拿着你的飞蝇竿。

And what you're gonna do, you've got your fly rod.

我是右撇子，所以我会按右撇子的方式来描述。

I'm right handed, so I'll describe it that way.

我右手拿着飞蝇竿，左手拉着线，不管是抛投还是钓鱼，一直都是这样。

I've got my fly rod in my right hand, and I've got my line in my left hand as I'm as I'm casting, fishing, whatever.

我总是左手拿线，右手拿竿。

I've always got line in one hand, rod in the other.

我要做的就是在竿子往后甩的那一刻，猛拉一下飞线。

And what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna pull on the fly line right when I move my cast to the backstroke.

所以当我抛投时，会在后摆的瞬间，用左手狠狠一拉线。

So when I move my cast, I'm gonna give that line in my left hand a good pull.

后摆时拉一下，前摆时也拉一下。

Right on the back stroke, and then right on the forward stroke too.

这样做的效果是让线速更快。

And what this does is this gives this speeds your lineup.

真的能把它甩得更远。

It really moves it.

这个小技巧，说实话，可能不是物理学家认可的解释方式，但感觉就像给能量上了个弹弓，一下子就把线甩出去了，力量大增，可你的抛投节奏一点都没变。

This little hall actually, again, this is probably not the physicist approved way of explaining it, but it feels like it almost creates kind of a slingshot of energy where it just really zips it out and gives you tons of energy, tons of extra power, but you don't change your casting rhythm one bit.

And might sound complicated, might sound tough.

Right?

You're like, oh, Durant, how do I do this?

There's tons of videos on YouTube about it.

但其实很简单，连亚历克斯以前都没怎么做过。

But it's simple enough that Alex he'd actually never done it.

我觉得他真没怎么试过。

Not very much, I don't think.

我不确定是不是他第一次试。

I don't know if it was his first time.

但在去佛罗里达之前，他根本不会双环抛投。

But before a Florida trip, he really couldn't double haul.

他之前从来没做过，结果在佛罗里达的第一天就掌握了双环抛投的技巧。

It just wasn't something that he'd ever done, and he got the hang of double hauling within, like, the first day of the Florida trip.

In that wind, he still got the hang of it.

所以这其实挺容易上手的。

So it is fairly easy to pick up.

我们一回来，有件事挺有意思的——亚历克斯陪他妻子去岳父母家，出去钓鱼时风挺大的，他就想在妻子面前秀一把新学的本事。

And then right after we got back, this is actually funny, Alex was with his wife visiting his in laws, and they're out fishing for a minute, and it was windy, and he wanted to show off his new skills to his wife.

他看着妻子说：‘看好了’，然后轻松地来了个双环抛投，甩出一记又长又漂亮的投掷，好像根本不费劲。

So he looks at his wife and says, watch this, and he does this double haul and throws a super long beautiful cast like it was nothing.

他对自己这表现特别满意。

He felt really good about it.

但他后来还跟我说，真的很庆幸在佛罗里达那几天多练了。

But then he also told me, was like, yeah, I'm really glad I got practice in those first in those days in Florida.

所以别觉得这东西你学不会。

So don't feel like it's something you can't pick up.

其实掌握起来挺容易的。

It's fairly easy to to to master.

简单总结一下，刮风的时候我知道感觉上很反直觉。

So just to recap, when it gets windy, I know it feels counterintuitive.

虽然看起来不像是办法，但对付大风最好的方式就是正常抛投。

It I know it doesn't feel like the solution, but the best way to fight the wind is just to cast normally.

别绷紧了。

Don't get tense.

别紧张。

Don't stress.

别把竿子甩得太快。

Don't move the rod too fast.

别硬拼力气。

Don't try to muscle it.

保持你的抛投动作不变。

Just keep your casting stroke the same.

让鱼竿自己发挥作用。

Let the rod do its job.

如果风特别大，就把鱼竿水平摆动。

If it's a really windy, move that rod horizontally.

用双倍抛投法，让线速加快，这样你就能更有效地在风中抛投了。

Employ the double haul, get some higher line speeds going, and and you will see that you're able to cast through the wind much more effectively when that happens.

当然，这确实是那种越练越熟的技巧。

And, of course, this really is one of those techniques where you get better at it just by doing it more and more.

你确实得出去多试试，但对我来说，风中抛投最大的问题完全是心理上的——我都刚告诉你们该怎么做，这些我都知道。

So the you do need to go out and and try this, but I for me, the biggest issue with casting in the wind is completely mental because I'm I just told you guys what to do, and I know this stuff.

Again, not saying that I'm an expert, but I I know this.

I talk about how to do this, and then I go out and I don't do it.

And that's because it's his mental thing where the wind kicks in and 15 year old Spencer who learned how to fly cast in the wind the incorrect way is still trying to make the 2026 version of Spencer do it.

有时候这习惯真难改，我正拼命逼自己改过来。

So it's it's a tough habit to break sometimes, and I'm really trying to force myself.

所以我觉得，很大一部分问题其实出在心理上。

That's why I think a lot of it's mental.

你得不断提醒自己：别那样干。

You just have to remind yourself, nope.

让竿子自己去工作，到时候你会惊讶于自己的进步有多明显。

Let the rod do the work, and it's gonna be really impressive how things pan out for you, I think.

你会很享受看到自己投竿技术的变化。

I I think you'll you'll enjoy seeing the differences in your casting abilities.

最后我们简单聊一下，很多人常问：风这么大，还钓不钓？

And then the last thing we're gonna talk about real quick is people ask a lot about whether it's too windy to fish.

说到底，这得看你愿意承受多少。

Really, that kinda comes down to you and what you wanna deal with.

前几天我出去钓鱼，风一直吹着，大概有20英里，阵风甚至到了35英里左右。

I went out the other day and it was blowing, I think, consistently, like, 20 and gusts up to 35 or something.

我当时想，行吧，去河边看看情况到底有多糟。

And I thought, oh, I'll get up to the river.

到了那儿才发现，情况比我想象的还麻烦。

We'll see how bad it actually is.

我用的是 nymph 钓法，但风把浮标和飞蝇吹得东倒西歪，根本没法精准落点。

And I get there and it was just I had a really hard time getting I had to nymph, so I had a really hard time getting my indicator, my flyers to land where I wanted to because the wind was blowing it everywhere.

更糟的是，风太大了，连浮标都被吹得往下游漂。

And then on top of that, the wind was blowing so hard, it was blowing my indicator downstream.

浮标在水面上蹦蹦跳跳的，跟打水漂一样。

So my indicator was like skipping like a rock on the surface of the water.

那时候我就决定了，算了，不钓了。

So for me, that was when I just said, alright.

我不钓了。

I'm done.

我就直接走了，风实在太大了。

And I just I just left because it was too windy.

有些日子，不管你的抛投技术多好，都没用——风太猛了，浮漂被吹得像石头一样在水面上蹦跳。

And there will be days like no no amount of casting technique is going to compensate for the fact that it's so windy that it's blowing my indicator down the river like a a skipping rock.

有时候，风实在太大，根本没法钓鱼。

Sometimes it is just too windy to fish.

这就是我的一点看法。

So that's my, you know, my 2¢.

如果干起来太费劲，不值得，我就干脆不干了。

If if it's just more work than it's worth, I I just bag it.

不过这事儿也因人而异。

But it really is kind of an individual thing as well.
