first time I've been able to preview or talk about Dragon Age in any real capacity since we launched the show. And I think it's just really fitting and kind of cool that this is gonna be my final preview for the show is Dragon Age, which is obviously, like, one of my all time favorite games. So a little bit of housekeep on Dragon Age, the Veil Guard. It is it takes place about eight to ten years depending on when you count the DLC, the Trespasser, or if you count from the end of the actual game. So eight to ten years after Dragon Age the Inquisition.

There's short stories. There's just so much in everything that you can read and the lore you can gain from engaging in that other medium does add to the world of Dragon Age, and it's all canon. So there's, like, a lot there. So I'm glad that they included the codex and the glossary. So, I mean, there's just so much to dive in.

That was just a really big, exciting moment. And also when you're in places like the forest, for example, it does not feel again like you're in this linear area, right?

So I'm really thrilled with that because I personally did not want another Hinterland situation.

So with the warrior, I won't go too much in the weeds with this, but essentially you gain rage by attacking enemies and you need rage to use abilities. So the UI is kind of complicated to describe, but on the bottom you have a bunch of quick slots.

That was a very helpful ability for me to to like continue the game. Because there were some parts I was like stuck playing, like, some against some, like, some bosses and stuff. Yeah.

You'll hear them talking about things that are happening now locally in their language.

So when I got to the real life vision jet, I knew what I was looking at. Was just bizarre because I was only in there for like two hours. Right? And they have in the game a way to train towards your pilot's license. And you can take that experience and go do it for real.

There's lots more mistakes. Even air traffic controller workers are really stretched. And, you know, we've seen what that does to people in our industry when they're overworked and understaffed. Well, imagine what it is if it's an airplane. So I love that they're putting this career mode front and center in Flight Simulator 2020 four because they're trying to get people curious about the world enough that they go try this and maybe it ends up giving people another career path that they wanna consider.

And I was hoping my daughter was gonna wanna do more of it with me, but she got I don't know if she got bored or got distracted by something else.

They have a little guide that once you've completed a level, you can revisit that level and then buy a companion that will show you where the bots are that you missed.

And a lot of it is just about memorization, timing crossed with input, like how you're hitting the buttons and when you're hitting the buttons.
