If you practice using them, anytime you talk about doing something at the last minute, they will boost your vocabulary scores.

There are some great idioms where you just share some timing, some things happening last minute and you can use today's idioms.

But first we wanna share some results with you because there was a Spotify poll and this came from episode fifteen seventeen that was Can't Get the seven You Need on IELTS Writing Task two: Three Tips.

The question was have you had to retake IELTS to improve your writing score?

So we're going to teach you four band nine idioms that you can use on IELTS speaking.

第一个是'at the drop of a hat'。

The first one is at the drop of a hat.

So this means immediately, no hesitation, with little or no, you know, advanced planning.

你就像，'最后一刻'是个不错的习语。

You just like, at the last minute is a good idiom.

'毫不犹豫'。

At the drop of a hat.

Right, so part one might ask you if you like road trips for example.

So you could say something like, I'm always ready to go on a road trip at the drop of a hat.

Yeah, it means you ask me very spontaneously.

Last minute.

These are all pretty interchangeable.

You could say, my childhood went by in the blink of an eye.

And then I really love something you did on your second answer.

But we often do this where we'll interrupt ourselves and change our answer.
